0:01all right hey everybody uh we're back
0:03and we're into some uh outer brood um as
0:06you can see here we're in the control
0:09room I'm going to start with this one um
0:11there's four total missions here um the
0:14architect one which is kind of like the
0:15first one you'll go through uh is just
0:18stupid easy like there's really nothing
0:21to that mission whatsoever um it's just
0:23avoid auras and kill mobs kill ads so
0:26I'll eventually get to a video to that
0:27but there's really not much to it um
0:30it's kind of similar here with the
0:31control room with the general um there's
0:34really nothing special to this to is
0:36boxer that you wouldn't follow just like
0:38any kind of boxing but this is a this is
0:40a tough one it's very very chaotic um
0:43it's basically locked into RNG if you're
0:47going to win or not which is kind of
0:49unfortunate um but that's just kind of
0:51what people like to do in game design
0:53these days is shut their brains off and
0:55just add Randomness um so we just got to
0:57we got to deal with it um but we'll kind
0:59of go over some of those uh mechanics
1:02here and like how it goes um and you'll
1:04take a look at one of the mission
1:06running and you'll see it's very chaotic
1:08it's very hectic um there was some
1:10definite intent with these missions to
1:12prevent people from boxing them um but
1:15of course we'll figure out those ways um
1:17so the the architect and this one are
1:19pretty easy priest is doable but it's
1:22very very rough so I kind of want to get
1:23that one locked in a little bit more
1:26Beyond just total chaotic maybe
1:29sometimes I beat it some times I don't
1:31um and then the heart one I haven't even
1:33tried yet uh cuz I just hear that it's
1:35just entirely bugged um even just for a
1:39six live characters trying to go through
1:41it there's just a lot of mechanics in
1:43there that they didn't fix from like
1:45raid mechanics that just make it very
1:47very very difficult so I'm going to wait
1:49for that one to get fixed before I even
1:50try playing around with uh boxing it uh
1:54so going kind of run up here um into the
1:58room kind of so we go over just some
2:00overarching stuff here um and then I'll
2:02break this into a couple other parts and
2:04other things for setup so um obviously
2:06we got this humongous Dragon here you
2:08need to kill um and he has uh two
2:11there's two mechanics here to uh manage
2:14so the first one is percentage based ads
2:16um so every 10% he is going to summon an
2:19ad that you need to make sure that you
2:21kill if you don't engage it resets the
2:23Zone um so uh he his hit points
2:29architect works like like this as well
2:31his hit points don't lock when the ad is
2:33up but you won't be able to kill him
2:35until all the ads are dead um so you
2:37can't just burn through him you might
2:39seem like you can uh but he'll go all
2:41the way down to 5% and then he just
2:43locks at 5% until the ads are all dead
2:46so if you try that you'll just get him
2:48down to 5% really quickly and find
2:50yourself stuck with uh eight ads and
2:52mechanics on the ads aggro stuff will
2:54guarantee a wipe no matter what um so
2:58you got those to worry about
3:00um and it's going to be not a DPS race
3:03because you definitely want to avoid as
3:05much as possible getting two ads at the
3:06same time it's doable but they've got
3:08some aggro mechanics I'll kind of talk
3:10through this uh in a bit um that make it
3:13very troubling um if you're boxing um so
3:17the second mechanic to worry about are
3:19emotes um so there's four random emotes
3:22that he's going to go through um and
3:23what makes the RNG on this kind of a
3:25pain in the butt is um they're not timed
3:28or anything like that it's just
3:29completely random he can knock three off
3:31back to back to back um he can knock two
3:34at the same time um or he can you can
3:36get lucky and get like two emotes
3:38throughout the entire fight um so the
3:42emotes what he does is he says a trigger
3:45and I'll include the Gina trigger link I
3:47don't know if it will work if you just
3:48click it if I don't send it in tell but
3:50I'll include it in the description then
3:52I'll include the actual text in there if
3:53you want to create your own but send a
3:55tell to limei andren um if I'm up I'll
3:58I'll link the Gina to you so you can
3:59steal mine and I'm sure someone's going
4:01to come up with some better ones
4:02eventually in a whole big uh batch we'll
4:04be able to snag from somewhere um but uh
4:08so those four triggers each of them has
4:11a different effect uh and when the
4:14particular um emote comes across the
4:17window you're going to need to say
4:20something to the Mob at the zon in
4:23you're going to need to give him a
4:24dragon name based on the emote um and he
4:27will summon that dragon and and the
4:30dragon will then either like negate the
4:32effect of the emote or help deal with it
4:35I'll talk through them uh quickly here
4:37in a second so this guy here is always
4:39going to chill here um and what that
4:41means is because of like the randomness
4:43and you can just constantly get them um
4:46you're going to want to pick one of your
4:48characters the weakest one who just
4:49contributes the least and just park him
4:52right here at darta uh it's kind of a
4:56bit of a a pain in the butt that you're
4:57going to lose out on a character uh but
4:59since it's not really too much of a DPS
5:01race um shouldn't be too big of a deal
5:04just to park a DPS tune here um and I
5:06tried cleric um you need to be about at
5:11least here to talk to him and when your
5:14cleric is here there's very little area
5:16that uh within the room that you'll be
5:18able to heal and group heals won't hit
5:20whatsoever so unfortunately that doesn't
5:22work um it's it's going to have to be
5:24likely a melee tune or just a tune
5:26that's not going to contribute much you
5:28can and if you're just playing live with
5:31six people um run back and forth there
5:34isn't for most of the emotes there's not
5:35really too much of a need to rush down
5:37here but obviously as a box tune uh
5:40because you're managing ads you don't
5:41want to constantly be tabbed into
5:43another character running them up here
5:46then running back down um makes it very
5:49very difficult for a box character so uh
5:52long story short pick a tune leave them
5:54down here start setting up some uh
5:56social macros for SE so um I've done it
5:58with my Beast Lord in my B so um let me
6:03pop into my Beast Lord here uh so I've
6:05got these four socials in here for the
6:08four emotes um before I get there one
6:11more thing with them um so when you say
6:15one of the dragon names to him it's
6:18going to lock you out from being able to
6:20use another Dragon for about I think
6:22it's 30 seconds don't quote me on that I
6:24haven't timed it or seen what the time
6:25is but seems about like a half a minute
6:27um so it is uh bit of a pain in the butt
6:30because you can get two of them back to
6:31back um and one time I got three of them
6:33all at the all back to back to back uh
6:36so you need to then kind of pick which
6:39ones uh you want to do you because you
6:42can only do one and then 30 seconds
6:43another um so that's where kind of the
6:45RNG gets really really stinky and
6:47there's there's a few rare instances
6:49where depending on what phase you're at
6:51up there um and which emotes you get
6:54like it doesn't matter what your group
6:55is it's just instant death and you got
6:56to wipe uh for boxing um I'll say it's
6:59probably about 5050 so far for me I very
7:03rarely get it on its first try um but
7:05usually on the second try we're good to
7:07go and a couple of times it'll get some
7:09bad luck and it'll take a third try um
7:12at least in like a dozen kills so far
7:14since going at this guy since uh launch
7:17just a few days ago um so um yeah it
7:21kind of stins but we're locked into RNG
7:24for this for sure um so the four emotes
7:27uh we got a Target here so there's
7:30suffering um you're GNA want to say
7:32Silver Wing to D here uh and I'm
7:36actually not entirely sure which this
7:38what this emote does um but this is also
7:41the weakest one that you can ignore so
7:43usually when I see Silver Wing I just I
7:45I won't even bother I'll I'll ignore and
7:47just kind of let it do its thing at
7:49least so far from the forums and posts
7:51and things like that everyone is like
7:53yeah ignore this the suffering one there
7:56don't worry about it this line though
7:59that does trigger it is over here Gina
8:02come on I don't I want to be behind
8:05there uh so General user summons the
8:08command counil back into the room uh so
8:12download my Dina ginaa triggers from the
8:13description or just create it type off
8:15that one there uh just summons the
8:17command console something like that in
8:19there to get it triggered to tell you to
8:20click suffering um oh I should also say
8:23huge shout out to Zer uh his beta video
8:26is where I pulled these from um and the
8:29are one to one for live so still works
8:32until they potentially maybe come in
8:34here and change some stuff um second
8:36emote is pests uh so you want to say
8:39harlaar when you get the emote that is
8:42the general summons a horde of venomous
8:44beasts uh so this one here I say
8:47prioritize um and try to get this one
8:49clicked as soon as possible um you're
8:52going to get two venomous I think
8:53they're called venomous thw ads that
8:55will come at you um they're they're
8:57pretty rough on the DPS they'll do some
9:00decent damage to you um and when you
9:02click Hara when you say harlaar there's
9:04about 10 seconds before harlaar will
9:07actually show up and what he'll do is
9:09he'll uh he'll scare them away so
9:10they'll completely run off and despawn
9:13uh but you are going to at least have to
9:15take a tank them for a little bit here
9:17and grab agar on them um so try to get
9:20harlaar up as soon as possible um and
9:22you don't want to get stuck in there as
9:24much as possible don't want to get stuck
9:25in a situation where you had to click
9:27one of the other ones and then test
9:29comes in right after that and now you've
9:31got like 30 seconds of it it's
9:33definitely doable I've been able to take
9:35them down and kill them uh but you're
9:37going to be popping some disciplines you
9:39may otherwise want to save to do that um
9:42but what I I will tend to do is as soon
9:44as I do see this um I will pop at least
9:47one defensive on there so just I'm ready
9:49just in case um you know depending on
9:52how you want to play feel free to do
9:54that or not um so the third one the
9:56defense uh so you want to summon was a k
9:59in um I don't remember where that Dragon
10:02was from from like the original EQ days
10:05um I don't recall it from like visan's
10:06Peak or anything like that where most of
10:08these are from but but anyway so you're
10:10going to summon him for defense and what
10:12this emote does um it puts a shield on
10:16uh the general and you won't be able to
10:18do any melee damage to him everything
10:19will just hit for one damage um and the
10:22text that he says there is uh General
10:25surrounds itself with an impenetrable uh
10:27barrier um if you you happen to be
10:30killing an ad you actually don't have to
10:33rush to this one so much um so like if
10:35you get manipulator um which I'll talk
10:38about in a second and then defensive
10:39like both back to back I would click
10:41manipulator so then you could worry
10:43about that and then do defensive when
10:44you actually get to get back to meleeing
10:46uh the general um so not a huge rush to
10:49this one here because you're not always
10:50fighting the general so no big deal if
10:52you can't do damage to him uh but
10:55obviously you need to be able to take
10:56this one down uh no matter what or else
10:59he won't be able to kill him unless you
11:00want to do one damage hits for the next
11:033 hours um so the last one the
11:06manipulator um this is going to summon a
11:08manipulator ad um at this point you've
11:10probably seen them I think every single
11:11zone has some variation of them it's a
11:13little bit on the tougher side um so you
11:15need to say vanesh to summon him to help
11:17you out I andan I'm not I'm not too sure
11:20what this particular one does cuz he
11:22doesn't get rid of this one ad but I
11:23think the ad if you don't summon vanesh
11:26the ad either heals or makes a general
11:28more powerful or something like that so
11:30you want to get vaness in there to
11:32weaken it and prevent that from
11:34happening um but you will still have to
11:36kill the manipul manipulator um and the
11:39manipulator is one there is a lot of
11:42bugs um I wouldn't say bugs but some
11:44grumbling and stuff going on where he
11:47doesn't always Auto uh aggro and you
11:49only have I think it's like three
11:51seconds to get aggro on him from when it
11:53goes active or else the event resets um
11:56so when you do see this one make sure
11:59if you don't within a couple seconds see
12:01the man manipulator Go Active that you
12:05try to proactively tag him um he spawns
12:09I believe it's in like the east side of
12:10the room there um it's been a big pain
12:12in the butt it it resets quite often um
12:16this is one of the ones where it could
12:17be very very ugly if you're in like the
12:19phase where you're getting knocked
12:21around the the dragon I think I forgot
12:23to say this um from 40 to 60% there is
12:26like one of those push mechanics where
12:28like the room tilt
12:30um and it's kind of like the dragon is
12:32turning cuz he's getting HT or something
12:34like that the dragon that the big one
12:35that you're on I mean you start like
12:37it's one of those mechanics where it
12:38just pushes you so you can't like run in
12:40one particular direction it's going to
12:42push you either to the west side of the
12:44room or the east side of the room um and
12:47if it's pushing you towards the west
12:48side of the room and the manipulator
12:50spawns it's automatic reset um which is
12:53a pain in the butt so you're just you're
12:54just stuck with RNG with that cuz you
12:56won't be able to get aggro on him and
12:58and will reset you'll get a message like
13:01the manipulator was idle blah blah blah
13:04um you failed the the mission kind of
13:07thing so bit of a royal pain in the butt
13:10um but I think that's only happened to
13:11me like on one attempt where I was like
13:13hey this is just pure wipe there's
13:14nothing I can do let me just let this
13:17reset um so those are the four emotes to
13:21have to worry about um I'm going to go
13:25ahead and I'm going to cut it off here
13:27uh and then we'll get edited right to
13:28the next next section okay second part
13:32here we're going to actually talk some
13:34setup here so not going to trigger the
13:35event but just uh the setup and things
13:39to know before you get into actually
13:41fighting um so first thing is these big
13:45tower thingies here these control tower
13:47things um that are on these light color
13:50tiles here uh as soon as you start the
13:52event they're all going to disappear and
13:53you're just going to have a big open
13:54room here um however depending on the
13:57emotes that you get I believe it's the
13:59Silver Wing emote um will cause one of
14:03these uh Towers to randomly reappear um
14:06and if you are fighting on this light
14:09color tile that that one reappears on uh
14:11there is a pretty good chance you're
14:14going to wipe because your tune is going
14:15to get stuck in there um so you're not
14:17going to be able to move out from like
14:19within the tower so I could like run up
14:21it now but if you're inside of it you
14:23can't get moved out of it um and it was
14:25a lesson learned in one of my attempts
14:28there about that so uh wherever you're
14:30fighting just make sure that it is off
14:32of that pad the other thing to watch out
14:34for uh with regards to where you're
14:37fighting is there's that control orb
14:39that pops up I believe about halfway
14:41through the fight it's a little ball
14:44that floats around the room with a red
14:45Aura around it um it circles the
14:48perimeter so it's always going to be on
14:49the outside of the room and it just
14:50circles around I believe it's uh uh
14:53counterclockwise if I'm not mistaken
14:56guess it's not too important so you just
14:57always want to make sure you stay out of
14:58it but it's going to be circling around
15:00the outside of the room there so
15:02fighting just pretty much and trying to
15:05position yourself between the light
15:06colored tiles um is going to be your
15:08best bet there cuz that orb um it's got
15:11the red or around it but the area effect
15:13extends pretty decently far outside of
15:16that Oreos Oro so it's misleading so you
15:18think okay cool I'm close to the edge
15:20it's not touching me and then bam you
15:22get stun locked and get that like 500k a
15:24tick um dot as if you're standing in it
15:28and it's essentially a white uh you can
15:31kill it but since you can't be in that
15:33aura um you can only do it via range
15:35damage uh my group's not set up for that
15:37so I just ignore it it moves slow it
15:40doesn't really have any much of an
15:42impact um because you can easily
15:44identify where it's at so I just ignore
15:47it let it do its thing stay off the
15:48edges and you should be golden um other
15:52thing to note is we're going to head
15:53back to the far corner here uh the
15:56Mystic guy here and the what is this the
15:59Southeast corner here east side of the
16:00room um this guy here he doesn't attack
16:05he just stands here and vomits up his
16:07light color but after you kill the first
16:10two mobs to trigger the event uh which
16:12are these guys here at the doorways you
16:15want to immediately come back here and
16:16kill this guy so he'll just stand there
16:18and you just beat him to death um you
16:20just have to just tank The Guild uh the
16:23the general guy there uh but if he is up
16:26you won't be able to summon any of the
16:27Dragon so um I believe there might be an
16:30achievement for doing that I'm not too
16:32sure about that but um take him down
16:35right away then get into the general uh
16:37one little perk for now anyways I think
16:40they'll probably patch this cuz I think
16:41it might be a bit of a bug if you kill
16:44him and then after you kill him you wipe
16:46at any point during the fight uh when it
16:48resets this guy will not be there
16:51anymore so he doesn't reset with the
16:52event um so it's kind of nice then you
16:54don't have to worry about him anymore on
16:56a second attempt so I've kind of toyed
16:59the idea of killing him and then
17:00leashing out of the room to reset the
17:02fight so that way he could just get
17:03right to the general uh but he's it's
17:05really not that difficult it only takes
17:07a couple seconds to take him down um but
17:10potentially if you want to try to save
17:13or or if you're really struggling with
17:15it give yourselves a little bit of extra
17:17DPS right from the start um go right on
17:20to um re reset it and then get it right
17:22into the general uh other thing to talk
17:26about is the I guess the the ad spawns
17:29um the percent based ads are going to
17:30spawn in either of the doorway it'll be
17:32random which one uh they do always Auto
17:35Agro at least so far from me I shouldn't
17:37say always I've only done this seven
17:40eight times now something like that it's
17:42still pretty new so um who knows there
17:45might be possibility that they don't
17:46Auto aggro because the manipulator if
17:49you get the manipulator emote he does
17:52not always Auto aggro it seems about a
17:5350/50 shot if he doesn't aggro uh
17:57immediately if you get the emote and you
17:58don't see him on the extended Target in
17:59a second or two he I believe spawns in
18:03the east side of this room and at least
18:05any time that I've had to grab him he's
18:06been on this side here um so if that
18:08happens you need to be very very quick
18:09because you've only got about 3 seconds
18:12to pick up aggro before the mission will
18:15reset it's it's annoyingly fast um
18:19you'll get the a message something along
18:20the lines of uh so and so is not engaged
18:23and has run out of the room for
18:24reinforcements your mission has failed
18:27um so try to watch him over on this side
18:29here um if you're unlucky and he doesn't
18:32immediately aggro upon you uh other
18:34thing to talk about we're going to run
18:35down
18:38here so the uh emote mob that you need
18:41to talk to down here the Frog uh when
18:44you're standing down here you can still
18:46get hit by like the knockbacks and the
18:49tilts and things like that um so you
18:51kind of want to watch your positioning
18:52CU if you're just kind of standing right
18:54here um you'll tab over to this whatever
18:57tune you got standing there you'll see
18:59him he'll have got knocked off the edge
19:00he's down there somewhere like that so
19:02make sure that this tune is shrunk um
19:05that'll prevent him from getting like
19:07knocked over these walls here they won't
19:09be able to like run over it I and I also
19:12kind of just kind of nestle like right
19:13here just push your right in here you
19:16could talk to D there he'll be able to
19:18he'll respond to any says um and it
19:20seems to be like the character will stay
19:22pretty locked into that spot there and
19:24not be in some other random Direction um
19:27from a setup stand Point that's really
19:29about it um let's see if I forgetting
19:33everything yeah that's about it you know
19:35I think we'll talk about uh it's it's
19:39everything everyone I'm sure is talking
19:40about this was uh discussed quite
19:42heavily in beta um and form talks and
19:45stuff like that that's the target rings
19:47for these big dragons they're very very
19:49small they are essentially belly belly
19:53melee um hitters I guess you would call
19:55them um you can DD them from far out you
20:00can cast spells on them from far out but
20:02you can only melee them from like right
20:04up against this ring you can't be much
20:06farther outside of that ring um I've got
20:09a feeling that this is probably just a a
20:11coding restriction because the dragons
20:13that are like this are these humongous
20:15modeled ones um so I I feel like putting
20:20them around the entire oneand would be
20:21like a bigger Target ring that you've
20:23ever seen before and I bet that probably
20:24causes some bugs or things like that so
20:26this is kind of the only solve to it of
20:28sort
20:29um but anyways yeah it's very very
20:31tricky um it can be very very tricky I
20:33would say make sure you not you're not
20:35utilizing bar speed um his bar speed and
20:37follow is uh very very wonky and
20:40whenever you stop characters with bar
20:42speed will just kind of run off and end
20:44up in random positions instead of just
20:46nicely all neatly packed up onto each
20:48other I me there's going to be a lot of
20:49moving around here um one of the nice of
20:52things about like the knockbacks here is
20:55with follow on like they'll come they'll
20:57run right back to where they need to be
20:59um so keep it on throughout the whole
21:01fight it makes things really easy um
21:03again just make sure that you're
21:05avoiding uh standing in this area over
21:08here and you should be good um I've seen
21:11every so often my characters will kind
21:13of get pushed back and they'll kind of
21:15get pushed up one of those but ain't no
21:17ain't no biggie though the follow will
21:19usually tag them right back on there so
21:22um yeah that's that uh we'll go ahead
21:24and get into the next part where we'll
21:26actually trigger up and start fighting
21:28Co
21:31cool all right we're back here with part
21:33three uh this is also going to be
21:35attempt three um couple of bad luck
21:38situations in the first two tries there
21:42um first one reset um and reset from a
21:46mob that I had not had that experience
21:48with it's always been the manipulator if
21:50you don't engage that it resets but this
21:53time the venomous THS I think they're
21:55called the the pest ads um uh those have
21:59always Auto agroed for me um but I guess
22:01they don't always um so they emoted that
22:05and I noticed that for a couple seconds
22:06they went on my ago and I tried to run
22:08and find them but since you only have a
22:10couple seconds before I was able to get
22:12them uh tagged it reset and then the
22:16second time wasn't just crappy look but
22:18it bugged um I I something happened um
22:22so three of my characters got warped
22:24down to the zoning like the the ground
22:27floor um so I think what happened was
22:30like the tail whip thing which knocks
22:31them back a little bit I don't know it
22:33must have knocked them into like one of
22:34the control spires or something like
22:36that and it just warped them down that
22:39some weird z-axis thing warped them to
22:41the ground floor my cleric zerker and uh
22:44it was my Ranger got warped down there
22:46I'm had to uh zone out and fire back um
22:51to get to get them back in here so yeah
22:53it was really weird never experienced
22:55that before so I don't know if anyone
22:56ever has or maybe might want to try to I
22:59try to replicate it um but anyways uh
23:03we're back in uh going to try here
23:05attemp number three let's get some Buffs
23:08going I've got my bar down there ready
23:11to do some talking um I normally usually
23:15keep my bar with me until the first
23:17emote just for the extra help um and
23:21then run it down there because you
23:22usually when you get the emotes um you
23:24don't have to like Rush down and and say
23:26um say like immediately you can wait up
23:28a few seconds but since I'm going to be
23:30talking while explaining everything um I
23:33figured uh for this I'll just leave it
23:34down there and lose out on a little bit
23:36of DPS for the first couple of minutes
23:40um but yeah we'll go ahead we'll get it
23:41started here we'll kind of see how
23:43things are going with these mobs are
23:45here uh say hell let me pop over here
23:49and get this going start it up there we
23:56go and you'll see that other guy he's is
23:58coming R in from way on the other side
24:00of the
24:03room get some Agro on
24:06him so while we're killing these I'll
24:09talk a brief second about the um the
24:11percentage based ads aggro is going to
24:13be a real big key to them um so they uh
24:17they have a mechanic where when they get
24:19low Health um they'll start or maybe
24:22it's time based either time based or low
24:24Health not right away they will pick
24:27another you'll see that they'll pick
24:28someone else in your group to Target and
24:31attack and they don't just lose aggro
24:33but they cause that tune to generate Max
24:36aggro um so you can't just oh he's got
24:38aggro and let me hit him a couple of
24:40times or pop like an explosion or
24:42something like that and pick it up um
24:44it's it's not going to work it's just
24:45going to be like trying to pull off
24:46aggro from a main tank that
24:48characterized generated Max aggro um so
24:51between that and like the range modifier
24:53um just be ready don't use too much of
24:56your clickies outside Those ads cuz
24:58you're need to pop off a couple to pull
25:00aggro off of that mob there I mean and
25:02range is going to be huge like if you're
25:04not within melee range like agess
25:07ageless enity from n SK won't even pull
25:10aggro it generates that much
25:12um so hang on to them be ready to use
25:16them on those ads there don't over DPS
25:19so that you get into two ads at the same
25:21time that could be hectic and let's just
25:24hope the ads don't get crazy during the
25:26Tilt phase CU that is
25:29um if they start losing ago dropping
25:31Argo while it's tilting it's basically a
25:33guaranteed wipe because you won't be
25:35able to heal and you won't be able to
25:36tag aggro at all all right so the first
25:39mob is up over there we're going to try
25:41to Target him and get a little bit
25:54closer I want to start attacking them as
25:57soon as possible
