0:30an ex-muslim M when there are such clear
0:35scientific miracles in the Quran have
0:38you heard this before that the Quran is
0:40filled with miraculous scientific
0:42insights that couldn't possibly have
0:44been known at the time of Muhammad well
0:45you know Dave um the first thing that or
0:50the last thing that had me attached to
0:54Islam was scientific Miracles I couldn't
0:58I I I found when compared Islam to
1:01Christianity I found many topics that
1:03Christianity has valid arguments against
1:06Islam but I couldn't I was like how
1:09about scientific Miracles I couldn't get
1:12over that so I had to do my own research
1:16to come to a conclusion and I picked the
1:19most famous topics I started with them
1:23to find for myself not for anybody else
1:26and when I found the truth then that's
1:28it was the last thing for Islam
1:30so you you saw problems with Islam but
1:32there was something holding you there
1:33still this idea that that uh there's no
1:37this had to come from God because these
1:38scientific Miracles yes and then so you
1:40I guess you eventually looked into the
1:42ones you thought were the best examples
1:44of scientific Miracles yeah and you so
1:47you must have concluded that they're not
1:48really scientific Miracles
1:50because all these years that we spent um
1:54they have been telling us how come
1:56Muhammad knew these things before
1:59scientific discoveries it must be God
2:02who revealed these things on they are
2:04talking about embryology they are
2:06talking about cosmology they are talking
2:08about um Sciences in the seas and all
2:12these things and and we read books we
2:15saw TV programs in Morocco we saw uh
2:19Scholars explaining them at school it's
2:22part of our curriculum at school so you
2:26grow up thinking it's it's for granted
2:29there are scientific miracles in the
2:30Quran and that was the by the way that
2:32was the first real argument I was given
2:34for Islam a a a Muslim Imam sat me down
2:37to watch this video on these scientific
2:40Miracles what I noticed over and over
2:42again they would they would quote a
2:43Quran verse and they would talk for like
2:45five minutes about science with all
2:46these awesome graphics and then they
2:48would say ah how could Muhammad have
2:49known all these things and I'm looking
2:51at the verse going is that what the
2:53verse actually said because I didn't
2:55catch that in the actual verse but all
2:57looking at all the you know five minutes
2:58of graphics and so on you think wow how
3:00could Mohammad have known all that let's
3:01start with the most famous One um you
3:05can read um 231 12-4 so embryology yes
3:09emology because that's that's probably
3:11the most famous One MH all right so
3:15Surah
3:1623: 12 to 14 I'll read the halian they
3:20insert some words as far as creating man
3:22out of uh you know Clay and so on so so
3:23they insert like Adam and so on but um
3:26so this is the hellon translation and
3:28indeed we created man Adam out of an
3:31extract of clay water and Earth here
3:34they put thereafter we made him The
3:36Offspring of Adam as a nuta mixed drops

3:50then we made the nuta into a clot a
3:52piece of thick coagulated blood then we
3:55made the clot into a little lump of

4:03bones with flesh and then we brought it
4:06forth as another creation so blessed be

4:23drop a sperm drop we have a clot a blood
4:27clot and then we have a lump of Flesh
4:31and then we have bones and then we
4:33covered bones with

4:49to see their the their kid uh the first
4:54time and and see did you see a skeleton
4:57there no you never see that so you're

5:10then it becomes a blood clot yes then it
5:14becomes a lump of Flesh and then the
5:16lump of Flesh becomes bones and then
5:19those bones are clothed with flesh so
5:21you're saying when is there just bones
5:23before they're clothed with flesh you
5:26studied medicine right I studied yeah I
5:28have a biology degree
5:30that's not right okay did they did they
5:34did they teach you these stages no these
5:38are these are not the correct stages it
5:39gets even worse when when you you go to
5:42what Muhammad said about them in the
5:43Hadith because he gives you a timeline
5:45he says it's it's 40 days as the drop of
5:48fluid and then 40 days as the blood clot
5:50and so on so that's like really really
5:52wrong the the the the most I I say the
5:55argument that was really um debunk this
6:00for me is when I found out the Greeks
6:03had this before the Quran hypocrates
6:06Aristotle and then Galen G galin had
6:09them the same way and galin was before
6:12the Quran so it was a spread common uh
6:16knowledge everywhere including
6:18Arabia and people just thought that's
6:21the right um stages of the fetus mhm and
6:27Muhammad just got that knowledge put it
6:29into a verse where is the miracle here
6:32no there's not and and you see it's um
6:35some things they knew right like they
6:37understood hey man has sex with a woman
6:40and uh you know it's got something to do
6:43with uh with seen they also thought it
6:45had a lot to do with blood because women
6:47have a monthly menstrual cycle and then
6:48it stops so they're thinking in terms of
6:50blood clots plus uh people had had
6:52miscarriages and so on so they people at
6:55the time had an understanding of certain
6:56stages when Muhammad goes beyond that
6:59it's it's either clearly being copied
7:02from people like hypocrates and and
7:03galin or it it's just wrong but the the
7:07the the stunning thing when I went to
7:10the commentaries I wanted to read more
7:14the Hadith in the
7:15commentaries they believe that the the
7:19spirit is not breathing into the fetus
7:23until he is or she is four months old
7:27after 120 days he's not
7:30alive and that's a clear scientific
7:34error and until now some schools in
7:37Islam you can have abortion before the
7:40fourth month I've seen Muslim
7:42politicians days I've seen Muslim
7:44politicians in the west say as far as
7:47Islam is concerned abortion is fine up
7:49through four months exactly because they
7:50believe he's not alive yet based on the
7:54Quran and this is a a a clear problem
7:57for Muslims they they have to deal deal
7:59with so um they're saying and you
8:03pointed out this is this is their go-to
8:05example of a scientific miracle in the
8:06Quran these are stages that were already
8:10described by other people and even in
8:13the Hadith where it gives the 40 days
8:15that's from the talmud so Muhammad is
8:17just hearing things from all around him
8:18and jumbling it all together and then
8:20they say it's a miracle when guess what
8:23Galen got some things right he also got
8:24some things wrong and the wrong things
8:26all end up in the Muslim sources too yes
8:29let's pick Pi another one okay you want
8:31to talk about uh let's say the Big Bang
8:34in the Quran yeah heard that one a
8:36thousand times I say have those who
8:39disbelieved not considered that the
8:41heavens and the Earth were a joined
8:44entity joint entity for them it was like
8:47a tiny spot that exploded and that's
8:50where the whole universe came from and
8:53then we separated
8:56them and made from water every living
8:59thing that's which is 2130 M so how do
9:04we respond to that well even looking at
9:06what it says they're saying this
9:07corresponds to Big Bang cosmology but if
9:11you look at what it actually says and
9:12this was another theory that was common
9:14at Muhammad's time it's called the the
9:16cosmic egg theory like every the Heaven
9:18and Earth were together as one thing and
9:21then in creating Gods separates them but
9:24isn't the Bible say the same doesn't the
9:26Bible say the same thing lots of yeah
9:28lots of lots of different people had the
9:29same thing shamim and the the the the
9:34heavens and and Earth were one thing God
9:37created one thing called it heavens and
9:39earth and then separated them later yeah
9:43so it's the same thing so he just copied
9:45a Biblical knowledge and they are
9:48talking about it as a miracle that
9:50nobody mentioned it before Muhammad and
9:53um what's interesting here is they want
9:55to say that the description in the Quran
9:57of Earth and Heaven being separate ated
9:59that that's the big bang but that's not
10:02the that's not the that's not the big
10:04bang right the big the Earth wasn't
10:06there already with the heavens and then
10:08they get they get separated so uh one
10:12the Quran doesn't line up they're not in
10:15other words a cosmologist is not going
10:16to say yeah the Earth was already there
10:19and then it was separated out uh but two
10:22yes this is other groups were saying
10:23this at the time and so how once again
10:25how in the name of Common Sense is this
10:27miraculous scientific knowledge
10:29uh another one they mention a lot the
10:33they say the two seas are separated by
10:38insen uh barrier and you can see it in
10:42many suras one of them is 55
10:451920 in two suras actually not many he
10:48released the two Seas meeting one
10:50another between them is a barrier so
10:52neither of them transgresses mhm how how
10:56do you respond to that well it's amazing
10:59all the Quran here is saying is that hey
11:00over here is uh water you can drink and
11:03over here is water you can't drink
11:05everyone knew that I when I read the
11:07commentaries when I read the
11:09commentaries they said the barrier is
11:11land that's true so there's so there's
11:14there's there's water you can drink over
11:16here water you can't drink over here and
11:17then there's land in between them and
11:18the point is actually decent Point like
11:21um look at how God set things up yes but
11:24they're saying no no no no this is
11:25talking about a you know barrier between
11:27uh fresh season so and they get all
11:29technical it's like he's saying
11:31something very simple here they play on
11:33words most of the time and they said
11:35that Jack Costo the French
11:39um josto they say he became a Muslim
11:41when I digged into his life I read his
11:44biography actually I went and I I even
11:47had footage of his grave and his
11:51Catholic with a cross on his grave and
11:53they say he became a Muslim because of
11:55this he never said that he never
11:57mentioned it but it's very known in in
11:59the Muslim world that Jack Costo became
12:01a Muslim because he discovered his
12:03scientific yeah I was that I heard Neil
12:05Armstrong you know found something and
12:07so on so yeah he became a Muslim he
12:09heard the Azan on the moon yeah it is
12:12strange how many things get uh made up
12:15but I do have some good news to share
12:17for everyone who's watching out there um
12:20recently very popular Muslim apologists
12:23and da have announced that they are now
12:26rejecting this argument so Ali dawa
12:28Hamet sortes uh they have said that this
12:30the argument in general from scientific
12:32miracles in the Quran has been debunked
12:36their reasoning was they said look in
12:38order to get this right we'd have to
12:40know that that the science isn't going
12:42to change then we'd have to know that
12:44this is what the Quran is actually
12:45saying we're not putting the meaning in
12:47there and we'd have to show that no one
12:50knew this at the time or before Muhammad
12:52and they said there is nothing like that
12:55in the Quran and so fortunately for all
12:58of us this are is being rejected by
13:01Muslims um in the english- speaking
13:03world and we just hope that the Muslims
13:05in the Arab speaking World catch up
13:08hopefully
