Is Kill Team Still Made For Us? — Transcript

- 0:00Kill Team is kind of weird right now,
- 0:02and we have a lot to say about it.
- 0:07>> [music]
- 0:15>> So, in the last year and a half, uh Kill
- 0:17Team has undergone a pretty significant
- 0:18transition from the point it was in when
- 0:20we got into the game. Uh obviously, a
- 0:22new edition came in, which is a good
- 0:24thing. Uh a couple different game modes,
- 0:27the real streamlining of matched play
- 0:29and how that looks, a few new kill
- 0:31zones, and a lot of new kill teams. And
- 0:33it's left us feeling sometimes the
- 0:35design direction of this game is
- 0:37targeted less at folks like us and more
- 0:40at like a specifically competitive
- 0:42crowd. And that's not necessarily a bad
- 0:45thing, but we want to just talk a little
- 0:46bit about some of the things in Kill
- 0:48Team that we currently find a bit
- 0:49frustrating, and talk a little bit about
- 0:51the future of Kill Team, and how, you
- 0:53know, we think we can make our own fun
- 0:55with it.
- 0:56I also want to say before we get too far
- 0:58into this, if you just watch like the
- 1:00first 2 minutes of this video and click
- 1:02off, I do have points advocating for the
- 1:06opposite side of this. So, don't just
- 1:08like watch the first 2 minutes and say
- 1:10that we are hating on the game because
- 1:12we're also going to talk about why we
- 1:13love the game and why we're very
- 1:15optimistic. So, it might look at the
- 1:18beginning, like the first half of this
- 1:19video might be negative. There is
- 1:20positive also, so watch the whole thing
- 1:23before you hate us. Definitely. And
- 1:26like, yeah, I think two important things
- 1:27to remember through this is that we love
- 1:28Kill Team. You know, this is This is our
- 1:31main game. This is our favorite game.
- 1:33Currently, we're a bit frustrated with
- 1:34some things. And the second thing to
- 1:36keep in mind is yes, we do receive early
- 1:39copies of stuff from Games Workshop.
- 1:41None of this
- 1:42is like informed by some future release
- 1:45that we have that you don't know. Like,
- 1:47we know nothing. Uh this is just like
- 1:50two two nerds wish listing.
- 1:52Um but all right, let's get started. So,
- 1:54what are the some of the things
- 1:56that currently frustrate I'll I'll
- 1:58start. So, one thing that I find right
- 2:00now with Kill Team, so the current state
- 2:02of approved ops,
- 2:04um I find that
- 2:06I'm never surprised by a game. You know,
- 2:09like
- 2:10a team will play against another team
- 2:13and you will have a mission and you're
- 2:16pretty sure you know how the team is
- 2:18going to be played against you and how
- 2:21the best way to play your team is. It's
- 2:23been a while since I've played a game
- 2:25like a matched play game of Kill Team
- 2:27and been like surprised by a tactic or
- 2:30been surprised by an outcome. It's all
- 2:33felt a little bit predictable and
- 2:36one thing I loved in the last edition
- 2:38was
- 2:39uh teams having faction tac ops that
- 2:41were specific just to them. Um I thought
- 2:44that it just it created so many more
- 2:46different interactions and uh that's
- 2:49something I kind of miss with everyone
- 2:51shooting for the same
- 2:53you know, I technically 12 tac ops, but
- 2:55it's more accurately it's like you play
- 2:57against the same like four or five, you
- 2:58know, no matter what. Uh cuz there's I
- 3:00think a bunch that people ignore. And so
- 3:02that's something that I kind of miss
- 3:04from the old days. Mhm. Yeah, for me one
- 3:07thing
- 3:08that I've noticed a lot more of in the
- 3:10last
- 3:12couple of years
- 3:13is that tendency for teams to have a lot
- 3:15of anti-fun rules, as we call them. And
- 3:18let me be clear, we're just two guys.
- 3:20Just because
- 3:21Yeah, we are having a good time. Just
- 3:23because we make YouTube videos does not
- 3:25mean our opinion holds any more weight
- 3:27than anybody else. So, this is totally
- 3:29just our opinion and I recognize that
- 3:33some people might like this kind of
- 3:35thing. Some people might like these kind
- 3:36of rules. They see it as a puzzle to
- 3:39overcome. But to me, things like stun
- 3:41grenades, things like razor wire, things
- 3:44like I don't know, time slow mines, you
- 3:47know, where you get stuck in a mine and
- 3:49your movement is
- 3:51lowered or whatever. Stuff like this
- 3:53makes it hard
- 3:56for your opponent to do all their fun
- 3:58stuff. And when I play game like this, I
- 4:00want as much fun stuff happening as
- 4:02possible. And maybe from your
- 4:04perspective, doing a slowing mine is a
- 4:06fun thing, but I think it just slows the
- 4:09game down, makes it less exciting, and
- 4:12prevents, you know, half of the models
- 4:14on the board from doing more fun, cool
- 4:16things, getting into fights, you know,
- 4:18getting into position to shoot. Um lots
- 4:20of rules are like this, you know, rules
- 4:23that, you know, auras of no rerolls,
- 4:25auras of um turning off whatever rule
- 4:28that you have, you know? So, that's one
- 4:30direction they've taken the design space
- 4:33lately. I'm not sure I'm in love with.
- 4:35It's my opinion. Maybe a lots of people
- 4:37disagree. I don't know. I'd be really
- 4:38interested actually to
- 4:40um hear your thoughts in the comments.
- 4:42Yeah. For me, uh that represents a bit
- 4:45of an accessibility issue as well. And I
- 4:46don't I don't mean accessibility in
- 4:48terms of like the game being available
- 4:50to everyone. I mean accessibility in
- 4:52terms of like getting started in the
- 4:53game because I feel like so much of what
- 4:56makes a good Kill Team player now is
- 4:58just being someone who has studied all
- 5:01of the team's rules and like knows what
- 5:03all of the other team's gotchas are
- 5:05going to be going into it. And I think
- 5:08that that is a bit of a shame because
- 5:09it's like I mean I see
- 5:12a post on Reddit every day it feels like
- 5:15where someone says like, you know, I
- 5:17like I'm just so sick of going and
- 5:19getting dummy'd at my local game store
- 5:22because like someone will show up with a
- 5:24team I've never played and they just
- 5:25like
- 5:26dominate me because I don't know their
- 5:28tricks, you know? Yeah. It almost feels
- 5:30like and this is frankly Victor's point
- 5:32that he's said to me a lot of times, you
- 5:34know, unless you're like actually trying
- 5:36to be a competitive tournament player,
- 5:38it feels impossible
- 5:40Yeah. to like know all the team's rules
- 5:42well enough that you can reasonably play
- 5:44around their stuff. Yeah, totally. I
- 5:46mean like I think we are like among the
- 5:49most invested Kill Team players out
- 5:51there. We have played as or against
- 5:54every single team, right? Because we
- 5:55have them all between the two of us.
- 5:57And I still feel like when I go into a
- 5:59game against most teams, it's like, "Oh,
- 6:01what is their again? Like what What
- 6:04are you going to do to me? Just remind
- 6:05me." Yeah. Um Now, I wanted to say it
- 6:08certain and truthfully, but I want to
- 6:09say maybe this is a problem that doesn't
- 6:12really exist in the wild. Maybe it only
- 6:14exists for us because we're playing so
- 6:16many teams on camera and we've gone to
- 6:19like leagues and tournaments. Maybe the
- 6:21average Joe is just, you know, they have
- 6:24one team, their friend has one team, and
- 6:27they just both know each other's teams,
- 6:28and that's all they're playing. You
- 6:30know, maybe their pool of teams they
- 6:31actually play against in the real world
- 6:34is very small and this isn't a real
- 6:36problem. Yeah. So, maybe that's like a
- 6:37problem that only we see or only a
- 6:40select few amount of people see.
- 6:41Absolutely. Worth noting that, I think.
- 6:44>> Yeah.
- 6:45Here's another counterpoint that I want
- 6:46to bring up. I
- 6:48think that the online discourse
- 6:51sometimes can do a great disservice to
- 6:54how people feel, right? I think that's
- 6:57not a secret. Everybody knows like
- 7:00the internet can be a toxic place
- 7:01sometimes, but I think
- 7:04um
- 7:05you know,
- 7:06so many of the content creators and also
- 7:10so much of like Reddit discussion, etc.
- 7:13about this game
- 7:15comes at it from a competitive point of
- 7:16view.
- 7:18I'm not sure why that is because I
- 7:21am pretty confident that the vast
- 7:23majority of players who play Kill Team
- 7:25don't play it competitively, but it
- 7:27seems to dominate online discourse. At
- 7:30times, we have been a part of that. I
- 7:32think recently we've been trying to get
- 7:34away from the competitive side of
- 7:36things. Um but I wonder
- 7:40and I've I've asked this question to
- 7:42Victor.
- 7:44How would we view the game differently
- 7:47if we had never read anything about it
- 7:49online? If we just, you know, came into
- 7:51it completely fresh, got the box, opened
- 7:53it up, read the rules, and looked at
- 7:55what's inside? Because
- 7:57they have been putting like narrative
- 8:00type stuff in boxes lately. You know,
- 8:02there was a whole campaign system inside
- 8:05the box with the stealth suits and the
- 8:08Space Wolf Scouts.
- 8:11There have been like, you know,
- 8:13a bunch of Necrons and a whole like
- 8:15campaign with the Tomb World release.
- 8:19Lots of other things in the boxes. And I
- 8:23wonder if everyone just defaults to
- 8:25approved ops
- 8:27just because they feel like that's what
- 8:31people do. But I wonder if that thought
- 8:33only exists because of the online
- 8:35discourse. You know what I mean?
- 8:36>> Yeah, I do. But I think like it's
- 8:39hard to play like a narrative game using
- 8:43like the weird stuff. Like with a
- 8:45stranger at the local game store, you
- 8:47know? Whereas if you're like just a
- 8:49person with a kill team and you want to
- 8:51play and you go play a pick up game,
- 8:53like matched play is the easiest way to
- 8:55just like start a game with someone. You
- 8:57know what I mean? I do think too like
- 9:00that doesn't really account for the
- 9:01rules density. Like it's
- 9:03>> 100%. That's what I mean. It's like and
- 9:05that's why it's a shame that matched
- 9:06play is what it is. Is what I mean, you
- 9:07know? Like it's hard to just go and play
- 9:09a nice game. Yeah, and I
- 9:12have been thinking a lot about
- 9:14other games that we like playing,
- 9:15especially skirmish games. I think a lot
- 9:16about Warcry. Warcry is not a perfect
- 9:19game to me. There are lots of things
- 9:20that aren't my favorite about it. But I
- 9:22really really really like Warcry. And
- 9:26there's a couple things Warcry has that
- 9:28Kill Team lacks. If you don't play
- 9:30Warcry,
- 9:31one of those things is really really
- 9:34really compelling list builders.
- 9:35>> Oh, it's the best, yeah. I really miss
- 9:37in Kill Team um there's basically no
- 9:41list building. I mean, some teams have
- 9:43some very limited list building, but
- 9:45really no, there's not list building.
- 9:49The The list building in Warcry is so
- 9:50fun because not only is it just a
- 9:53points-based system where you can like
- 9:55mix and match any of the operatives from
- 9:58the same faction,
- 10:00but you got the stuff from like bespoke
- 10:04warbands, you got the stuff from the
- 10:06huge huge compendium, and then also
- 10:10there's the four grand alliances in Age
- 10:12of Sigmar, Order, uh Chaos, Destruction,
- 10:14and Death, right? And you can ally in
- 10:17hero models from other factions if
- 10:20they're under the same umbrella of big
- 10:22alliance. So, you know, there's so many
- 10:25opportunities for interesting like
- 10:27narrative warbands and theming your
- 10:30warbands. Like, I had my Wildercore
- 10:32Hunters and I painted up Sylvaneth Yeah.
- 10:35>> with them because it was like the forest
- 10:37rangers and then they had actual trees
- 10:39helping them. It was so cool. I loved
- 10:41that. Kill Team doesn't have any of
- 10:43that, really. I mean, you can proxy.
- 10:44People do amazing things with proxies
- 10:47and conversions, and that's still all
- 10:49there, but it's not the same. No, and
- 10:51like the difference is that like yeah,
- 10:53you can do like a cool Stormcast proxy
- 10:55of Raveners, for instance, which you
- 10:58know, I've That's just one I've seen
- 10:59online recently and thought like, yeah,
- 11:00that's cool as hell.
- 11:02Um
- 11:02but you're still like the rules of the
- 11:04team are the same, whereas with Warcry
- 11:07and the list building, like there's a
- 11:09mechanical way for you to have like your
- 11:12team with your lord, you know, where
- 11:14it's like So, Brad's Cities of Sigmar
- 11:17guys have Sylvaneth allies, and that's
- 11:19not just like using different models to
- 11:21represent it. It's like that's There's
- 11:23mechanics in the game. Yeah. Um that
- 11:26make use of that. I think like that's
- 11:28That's just one of the things that's so
- 11:30strong about Warcry. Yeah, another thing
- 11:32is that the rules are so much simpler.
- 11:35Yeah. Um
- 11:37you know, if you're coming in to a game
- 11:39of Warcry and you have no idea about
- 11:41your opponent's team, yeah, you can just
- 11:43look and see like six abilities,
- 11:47like two sentences each. You can read it
- 11:49over in a couple of minutes
- 11:52and you're not going to get gotcha'd. It
- 11:53just it doesn't really exist in this
- 11:55game. Well, and so much of the game is
- 11:59determined by randomness
- 12:01that you often, if you're going to get
- 12:04got, you're getting got by the game
- 12:08instead of your opponent.
- 12:09>> I Another thing, too, this kind of goes
- 12:10back to the list building, but I feel
- 12:12like
- 12:14I don't know if we've talked about this
- 12:15on the channel, but I think a lot of
- 12:16people watching this might have heard of
- 12:18like the three archetypes of player.
- 12:21There's like what, Timmy and
- 12:23>> Timmy, Johnny, and Spike. Yeah, so I
- 12:25think Johnny is the comp guy, right?
- 12:27>> No, Spike is.
- 12:28>> Spike is the competitive guy? I feel
- 12:30like the other two archetypes aren't so
- 12:33supported in Kill Team. Like Warcry, you
- 12:36can go and try like crazy weird combo
- 12:39lists that are probably bad, but like
- 12:42you might pull off something crazy and
- 12:44it's like wild to try it out. You know,
- 12:46like one in six games you might pull off
- 12:48a crazy combo. Yeah.
- 12:50I feel like Kill Team just doesn't
- 12:52really have that. Or and so that's like
- 12:54the Johnny thing. And then similarly
- 12:57with Warcry, you could also bring five
- 13:00goblins and a gargant just to like smash
- 13:04with a giant
- 13:05>> Yeah, and I feel like even like the
- 13:06smashy teams in Kill Team aren't like
- 13:09they're still complicated. Like what
- 13:11would that be? Lizardmen. Reka crew,
- 13:13Angels of Death, Deathwatch, like
- 13:16they're they're still pretty
- 13:17complicated. And I feel like the game
- 13:21kind of incentivizes like you have to
- 13:23play carefully. Like it it so punishes
- 13:26going for just like a fun, I just want
- 13:28to smash you then you just get wrecked
- 13:30but if like your opponent wants to wreck
- 13:32you and knows what they're doing. Yeah.
- 13:33>> You know, um but maybe that's just
- 13:37an us problem. Like I don't really know.
- 13:39It seems like it's not but maybe it is.
- 13:42Maybe it's just like we've been
- 13:45like exposed to the competitive approved
- 13:48ops mindset for so long that we've just
- 13:51like
- 13:52we've done it to ourselves and it's hard
- 13:54to say. Also going back to a point you
- 13:55made earlier about like the online
- 13:57discourse being part of this. There's
- 13:59been a few times where we have received
- 14:01boxes early obviously
- 14:03and we've played the battle report
- 14:04between the two teams before everyone
- 14:07else releases their thoughts on the game
- 14:09because you know if we are all releasing
- 14:12our stuff at the same time we filmed the
- 14:13battle report two weeks before and so we
- 14:16have existed in our own bubble during
- 14:18that time and you know like the team
- 14:21that everyone thought was like broken
- 14:24has lost to the team that everyone
- 14:27thought was going to be bad because
- 14:29we're just like two guys reading the
- 14:32rules and interpreting them how we do
- 14:33right? It's like in the example I always
- 14:34think of is
- 14:37uh you know stealth suits beat wolf
- 14:38scouts in our first game. I think that
- 14:41if we had had to go through two weeks of
- 14:44everyone analyzing the minutia of every
- 14:47like piece of punctuation in the rules
- 14:49beforehand we probably would have played
- 14:50it differently and it probably would
- 14:52have been a more samey result like
- 14:54everyone else's you know? And I think it
- 14:56was like
- 14:57it was a perfect example of how these
- 14:59games can exist in a much happier space
- 15:02in an unplugged world. Here's one okay
- 15:04just to bring it back. I you know stick
- 15:07with me because some of you might be
- 15:09rolling your eyes. I'm getting old okay
- 15:11but back in my day
- 15:13can't believe I'm uttering those words
- 15:14on the internet and I'm only 31 but
- 15:16already I'm saying back in my day
- 15:19I used to play video games a lot when I
- 15:22was a kid, right? I would play I was
- 15:24Okay, I was big into MMOs. I played a
- 15:27lot of RuneScape back in the day. I
- 15:29played World of Warcraft and some other
- 15:31games, but the thing was, I'm getting to
- 15:33the point.
- 15:35Back in the day, people would just,
- 15:37you know, it was the game was full of
- 15:40people just running around not knowing
- 15:42what they're doing, you know? People
- 15:44would have jank builds. People wouldn't
- 15:47be like trying to level up as fast as
- 15:49possible. People would just be like, you
- 15:51know, enjoying the game for what it was.
- 15:54And it seems like at some point in the
- 15:582010s,
- 16:00society or like at least gaming society,
- 16:02and I count this as mostly video games,
- 16:05but also clearly tabletop games,
- 16:09society has started to optimize the fun
- 16:12Yeah.
- 16:12>> out of the games. And it's like
- 16:14everyone's obsessed with like
- 16:16optimizing,
- 16:18having the best build, you know, being
- 16:20as efficient as possible. I'm saying
- 16:22everyone, it's not everybody, but I feel
- 16:24like there's this tendency now to just
- 16:25optimize the fun out of everything. And
- 16:29I just miss when people were just
- 16:30messing around. Yeah. I think that I had
- 16:35that experience a lot later, because so,
- 16:38I don't know if you know this, I didn't
- 16:39have a Reddit account until we started
- 16:41this channel. Did you go on Reddit and
- 16:43just as a guest? No.
- 16:44>> I didn't. Because I I've like never been
- 16:46interested in hearing how other people
- 16:48play the games that I play. Yeah. Um but
- 16:51an example of this is they re-released
- 16:53Tony Hawk Pro Skater uh a couple years
- 16:55ago, and my brother and I were like,
- 16:57"Oh, man, that's sick. We love Tony Hawk
- 16:59Pro Skater." And we like downloaded it,
- 17:01hopped into a lobby, and there were like
- 17:03Pro Skater min-maxers. And it's like,
- 17:05"What the hell? That's not how you play
- 17:07this game."
- 17:08>> that's gross. And yeah, and so it's all
- 17:10just the same pile of dog Um and
- 17:13capitalism has probably caused this.
- 17:16Let's talk about why we're excited
- 17:19for some upcoming Kill Team.
- 17:20>> Yeah, okay. Well, first of all, I just
- 17:21want to say like all that to say, all
- 17:23the first like whatever 10 20 minutes of
- 17:25this video, however long it's been, all
- 17:26that to say, one, are they still making
- 17:29this game for us? Is it now just for
- 17:31competitive players and it's not for us
- 17:32anymore? Or are we inflicting that upon
- 17:35ourselves? Can we approach the game
- 17:36differently? Is that putting a square
- 17:38hole in a round peg?
- 17:40Or
- 17:42is that actually just on us, you know?
- 17:44Do you know what I'm saying? I don't
- 17:46know if that's clear. Hopefully that
- 17:46makes sense. But what are we looking
- 17:48forward to? I'm really looking forward
- 17:50to the new narrative box, Taron Devlin,
- 17:53I think it's called, and um the Nemesis
- 17:56Ops book. Absolutely. I think we are
- 17:59going to just like do video after video
- 18:01of fighting bosses and some of them
- 18:04don't even seem like huge like mega
- 18:06bosses, but like the two models they
- 18:09showed off, the Zoat and what's the
- 18:11other thing called? Oh, yeah.
- 18:12>> the thing with the bugs on it? Yeah. The
- 18:14blue guy? I don't know what it's called.
- 18:16>> Yeah. Like they're like not mega bosses,
- 18:19they're like medium, you know?
- 18:21>> And one thing that I absolutely
- 18:25love about it, uh leave it in, is that
- 18:28they are Warhammer 40,000 models that
- 18:31people already have. That was such a
- 18:33strength of old Kill Team where you're
- 18:35trying to get someone into the game
- 18:37that's already like invested in
- 18:38Warhammer and you could say like, "Yeah,
- 18:39yeah, if you play Eldar, you can just
- 18:41like bring that squad of Storm Guardians
- 18:43to play, you know?" As opposed to like
- 18:45go to the store and buy a Kill Team
- 18:47thing that you normally would have
- 18:48walked past. It's like a much harder
- 18:49sell. But to like introduce a way back
- 18:52into the game of like, "Oh, yeah, we can
- 18:53play Kill Team. Bring your Dreadnought."
- 18:55Like that's cool, you know?
- 18:56>> Yeah. Um and I think that that is such
- 18:59an important uh accessibility piece for
- 19:01the growth of the game. I'm so excited
- 19:04about that box and the Nemesis Ops
- 19:06stuff.
- 19:07Um like Brad said, we're going to we're
- 19:09going to jump headfirst into that stuff.
- 19:11>> Yeah. Um I think also like we've been
- 19:15doing our own weird stuff. You know,
- 19:17we've been adding weird rules
- 19:20to our Kill Team games. We did that
- 19:22game. We were on the exploding gantries
- 19:25with all like the Yeah, love that.
- 19:27>> What was it like um geysers exploding?
- 19:29>> Yeah. We've done streams where there's
- 19:33like rogue score pack destroyers like
- 19:36being activated by chat going around and
- 19:38merking both of our sides. Yeah. What
- 19:40else? What other weird rules have we
- 19:42done? We've done the Angron boss battle.
- 19:43Yep. Um we've done There's lots of weird
- 19:46stuff.
- 19:47>> terrain, weird rules.
- 19:48>> Yeah. Um so I'm excited to more of that
- 19:51stuff. I'd love to hear
- 19:53how you are feeling because I don't
- 19:55think that our community, our like
- 19:57Mountain Side Tabletop people,
- 20:00are necessarily the like competitive
- 20:03Reddit community exclusively.
- 20:04>> Can I tell a quick side story, too? We
- 20:07have I'm not going to name names, of
- 20:09course, but we have There's someone we
- 20:11know in our community, a friend of ours,
- 20:12and
- 20:13they
- 20:15got into Kill Team, started casually,
- 20:18got into the competitive side, got
- 20:20really into the competitive side, so
- 20:22much so they won a golden ticket to go
- 20:24to Worlds. They went to Worlds, competed
- 20:28in the world championship of Kill Team
- 20:30last year, and Victor, you said
- 20:32something like they said, "Man, I'm done
- 20:34with this because everyone just plays
- 20:35the same three teams and it's so
- 20:36tryhard." Yeah. And they're over it.
- 20:39Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what
- 20:41that really says, but I thought it was
- 20:43funny. Yeah, I think there's probably a
- 20:44high burnout rate in competitive gaming.
- 20:47This is like probably been our most
- 20:48negative video, and we've like really
- 20:50tried to stay away from this sort of
- 20:52thing in the past, and I don't want this
- 20:53to come across as like I hate Kill Team.
- 20:55And we don't. And like elites are
- 20:57ruining the game. I don't I don't care
- 20:58about balance. I do not care about the
- 21:01balance of Kill Team.
- 21:03Uh because I don't play my teams
- 21:06to their maximum strength. And so,
- 21:08balance doesn't matter. Balance is more
- 21:10between me and the person I'm playing
- 21:12with than our teams. I can lose with
- 21:14Deathwatch. Is Deathwatch even a good
- 21:15team anymore? I don't know. Yeah, I
- 21:17would just I would love to come into a
- 21:18game of Kill Team and not feel like I
- 21:23was going to be like mentally exhausted
- 21:25by the end of it, you know? Yeah, or go
- 21:27into a game of Kill Team excited to see
- 21:29how the person pilots them and think
- 21:31like, "Oh, I've never thought of
- 21:34building a team like that before."
- 21:35>> Yeah, I don't know. I I doubt this is
- 21:38going to happen. I would love for the
- 21:39next edition of Kill Team to like expand
- 21:42the list building possibilities. I don't
- 21:45get the impression that's going to
- 21:45happen, but it would be nice because
- 21:47yeah, that's another interesting thing
- 21:49about other games with list building.
- 21:50You get to play against someone's weird
- 21:52list and it's just a interesting to see
- 21:55what they've got going on. But, you
- 21:57know, how many times have you played
- 21:58against the exact same loadout of, you
- 22:01know, whatever team, Deathwatch. So.
- 22:03Plus or minus. And that's one of the
- 22:05more flexible teams. All right, anyway,
- 22:07I think we're done here. We do not hate
- 22:08Kill Team. I actually really love Kill
- 22:10Team. We just got to figure out how to
- 22:13make it fun for us again. Yeah, make
- 22:15Kill Team great again. Jesus. All right,
- 22:18uh we'll see you soon. We are going to
- 22:19do a lot of stuff with the new box and
- 22:22some stuff before the new box. See you
- 22:23in the next one.
- 22:24>> definitely let us know in the bottom in
- 22:26the comments what your thoughts are all
- 22:28about this. Thanks to our 1HP gangsters
- 22:29and mountain goats.
- 22:31Um
- 22:33go check out our painting videos that we
- 22:35posted. I thought they were good videos,
- 22:36but like No one watched them.
- 22:37>> No one watched them. Yeah. Yeah, they're
- 22:39they're fun.
- 22:40All right. See you.
- 22:41>> Goodbye.
- 22:43>> [snorts]
- 22:45[music]
- 22:51[music]
- 23:03[music]
- 23:12>> Mhm.
