iPhone Duo is Messier Than You Think — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Okay, Apple doesn't want you to think of
- 0:02it like this, but
- 0:04the $2,000 iPhone Duo is all about
- 0:07trade-offs.
- 0:19Because if you are considering one of
- 0:20these,
- 0:21then your best Apple alternative is an
- 0:24iPhone 18 Pro. So, the question we have
- 0:26to answer is very simple. Exactly how
- 0:28much you're gaining if you choose a Duo
- 0:30instead, and exactly how much are you
- 0:32losing?
- 0:33Turns out
- 0:35more than I expected. Because the
- 0:37compromises begin the moment you try to
- 0:39unlock the thing. There is no Face ID
- 0:41here. So, on the Duo, every time you
- 0:43unlock, every time you pay, every time
- 0:44you authenticate something, instead of
- 0:46just glancing at your phone, you got to
- 0:47use Touch ID via the side button. And
- 0:50they have done the obvious stuff well.
- 0:51The button's raised, so you can find it
- 0:53without looking. It works for every
- 0:55banking app that I've tried, just like
- 0:56Face ID. And you can register multiple
- 0:58fingers, which is really important,
- 1:00because you'll probably want your thumb
- 1:01when you're picking it up in your right
- 1:02hand, and then your index finger for the
- 1:04left hand. But the more that I use this,
- 1:07the more I notice how it is worse in a
- 1:09bunch of small ways, and
- 1:12they add up. One, Touch ID is not a tap,
- 1:14it's a hold. So, feels like a tiny bit
- 1:16of extra friction 50 times a day. Two,
- 1:19it can get a little spotty if you've
- 1:21just washed your hands or they're a tiny
- 1:22bit greasy. Three, it's only really
- 1:24comfortable in landscape. Opened up, the
- 1:26Duo is clearly designed to feel like a
- 1:29magical sheet of glass that you can
- 1:31flawlessly use from all angles, like an
- 1:33iPad Pro. Except the iPad Pro has Face
- 1:36ID, which works in every orientation.
- 1:38The Duo relies on this button that is
- 1:41nowhere near your fingers when you're in
- 1:43portrait. And then four, the most
- 1:44noticeable for me is while Face ID
- 1:46unlocks your phone without any finger
- 1:48action, so you can immediately start
- 1:51with your thumb in the optimal position,
- 1:52Touch ID requires you to first move your
- 1:54thumb out of the way, unlock, and then
- 1:56bring it back in. Now, the way that
- 1:58other foldables address these issues is
- 1:59by letting you use a basic 2D face
- 2:02unlock, which just uses the selfie
- 2:03camera. Whereas, [music]
- 2:05Apple has clearly decided that it's
- 2:06either proper Face ID
- 2:08or nothing. So,
- 2:11nothing it is. Surely though, this minor
- 2:13inconvenience is worth it if it means
- 2:15you can have the largest display ever on
- 2:18an iPhone. Well, when you start to
- 2:20really analyze how much more the bigger
- 2:22screen actually lets you do versus an 18
- 2:25Pro Max, I'm not as sold as I thought
- 2:28I'd be. The first thing I tested is
- 2:29watching videos, and if you're going for
- 2:31a proper wide-screen movie, then there
- 2:33is actually zero benefit to the Duo
- 2:35because the width of this phone is
- 2:37almost exactly the same as a Pro Max in
- 2:39landscape. All the extra screen is
- 2:40height, which just becomes black bars.
- 2:43Thankfully, most content isn't that
- 2:45wide. Like our videos, for example, are
- 2:4718 by 9, and those do come out a very
- 2:49solid 20% larger on the Duo. And 16 by 9
- 2:52videos, which is still most of what
- 2:54you'll find on YouTube, does get you
- 2:56almost 50% more viewing area. That is
- 2:59huge. So, generally, there is an upside
- 3:02to the Duo for video. But, it's the app
- 3:05experience where things start to feel a
- 3:07little
- 3:08mixed. I'd say there's three tiers of
- 3:10apps. Tier one is the apps built for
- 3:13this. Basically, a slim selection of
- 3:15Apple's own, like Books, and then a
- 3:17handful of third parties who've designed
- 3:18with the Duo in mind, like Netflix. And
- 3:21these [music] work beautifully. The
- 3:23space isn't just filled, it's actively
- 3:25enhancing the experience. Tier two is
- 3:28apps that don't feel like they're
- 3:29designed for this, but ones that scale
- 3:32somewhat useably, like YouTube. I don't
- 3:34like this black bar on the side, but the
- 3:36extra width can allow you to see a bit
- 3:39more. I'm pretty indifferent here
- 3:40between using these apps on a Duo versus
- 3:42a Pro. But, for anything else, tier
- 3:45three,
- 3:46I think the bar phone is the better
- 3:48experience. Because any app that is
- 3:49designed for a typical iPhone is going
- 3:51to open like this on a Duo.
- 3:54>> Fire!
- 3:55You can swipe down in the blank space
- 3:57here to bring it closer, or what makes
- 3:59more sense to me, rotate the phone and
- 4:01enlarge the window like this. But still,
- 4:03this is hardly ideal and doesn't at all
- 4:06feel like a real tablet app. It very
- 4:08much feels like you're just using an
- 4:09oversized phone. Go figure. But here's
- 4:12the [snorts] one that really stung. So,
- 4:13one of the key reasons that I've been
- 4:15pining for this phone is so that it can
- 4:17finally fix Google Docs, which as you
- 4:19might know is a nightmare on any [music]
- 4:21proportioned iPhone because there's just
- 4:23not enough width. So, okay, let's load
- 4:25it up here.
- 4:28Oh.
- 4:29What on earth is that?
- 4:32So, I can rotate the window, I can
- 4:34enlarge the window, but all it is doing
- 4:36is stretching it. It's not reformatting
- 4:39it to use the space better. And games
- 4:41are the same story, except I would argue
- 4:44with even fewer optimized titles to the
- 4:46point where it really seems like this is
- 4:48the typical Duo gaming experience, which
- 4:51does feel like a massive shame and makes
- 4:54Samsung Z Fold 8 by comparison a much
- 4:56more desirable experience in many cases.
- 4:58Now, to Apple's credit, some of the apps
- 5:00that weren't scaling properly have
- 5:02actually already been patched during my
- 5:04testing. And when I brought this issue
- 5:05up with them, they said that apps will
- 5:07start filling the screen by themselves
- 5:09as soon as devs start updating them for
- 5:11iOS 27.1. All I can say is
- 5:14I sure hope so because for a $2,000
- 5:16phone, I expected a significantly better
- 5:19day-one app experience. Thankfully, the
- 5:21web doesn't need app developers to show
- 5:24up. So, Safari is one of the best things
- 5:27about the Duo. Most pages do take
- 5:28advantage of the extra space. And
- 5:30[music] it's not that you necessarily
- 5:32fit more content on your screen at once,
- 5:34but I think it gives web pages the
- 5:36breathing room that they need. And I
- 5:37really like how Safari on Duo is
- 5:39designed almost like a desktop browser
- 5:41with the way that you can see and flick
- 5:43between your tabs.
- 5:46Okay, here's the thing with the Duo
- 5:47though. It's all well and good talking
- 5:48about the potential upsides of this
- 5:50biggest iPhone display ever,
- 5:53>> [music]
- 5:53>> but we have to also factor in that
- 5:54realistically, you're also going to
- 5:56spend half of your time using this much
- 5:59tinier outer display. [music]
- 6:00And when you do, I think you're getting
- 6:03a distinctly lesser experience versus a
- 6:05normal phone. Because you have the exact
- 6:07same rather unusual aspect ratio of the
- 6:10inside, so apps often still won't just
- 6:13work. Only now without the space of the
- 6:16inner display to make up for it. [music]
- 6:18And then you throw in this control bar,
- 6:19which cuts into your viewing area very
- 6:22noticeably here, and pushes so much of
- 6:24the UI off-center in a way that just
- 6:26doesn't look very polished to me. So, as
- 6:29far as I'm concerned, half the time this
- 6:31is a better display experience than a
- 6:33typical iPhone. But [music] equally,
- 6:35half the time it's worse. So, while I
- 6:38came into this expecting a screen
- 6:39upgrade, for the most part it just feels
- 6:42like a trade. Now, there are two
- 6:44exceptions to this. Two things that I
- 6:46would say are outright better on the
- 6:48Duo. First is the new standby mode. You
- 6:50can now use it without needing to be
- 6:52plugged in. There's new faces and fonts.
- 6:54Everything's been reformatted to look
- 6:56very pretty. And the highlight has got
- 6:58to be this alarm clock, which uses the
- 7:00inner display to glow while the alarm is
- 7:02playing. To be clear, it's not going to
- 7:03replace one of those sunrise alarms if
- 7:05you actually want to be woken up by the
- 7:07light itself, because
- 7:09this just isn't bright enough. But what
- 7:11it is is an extremely aesthetic [music]
- 7:14extra. And then, I guess the primary
- 7:17perk of the Duo
- 7:18is multitasking. You can't split screen
- 7:20an app on a typical iPhone, you can
- 7:22here. And I would say that all the
- 7:24multitasking capability they have added
- 7:26is great. I think the way that you start
- 7:28split screen by throwing apps to the
- 7:30side is mindless and satisfying. [music]
- 7:32I really like how you click a link on
- 7:33one side, it's going to open that link
- 7:35on the other. And how if there are any
- 7:37elements that are not centrally aligned,
- 7:39then when you go into the half-folded
- 7:41position, they kind of split so that the
- 7:43fold actually acts as a physical divider
- 7:46for the content. That said, you play
- 7:48around enough, you will run into some
- 7:50limitations like how split screen is
- 7:52locked at 50/50 on the duo, unlike an
- 7:54iPad where you can resize. Like how
- 7:57there's very limited split screen that
- 7:58you can do in portrait. To be fair, this
- 8:00isn't exactly made easy on a Samsung,
- 8:03but at least you can there and there are
- 8:05a few instances where that makes sense.
- 8:07The one thing that you can do is have a
- 8:09video at the top while you browse a page
- 8:12underneath and
- 8:13this is awesome, but it does feel like
- 8:15one unnecessary extra step to get there
- 8:18because you first have to open the video
- 8:19you want to watch in full screen, then
- 8:21you got to close the app to minimize
- 8:22that video into a floating window, then
- 8:24open the other app that you want to
- 8:25scroll before finally dragging that
- 8:27floating window into the top section.
- 8:29Apple is also starting to add a bunch of
- 8:31half folded features. Like if you're
- 8:33watching a video, you can get controls,
- 8:35but I really feel like if you're going
- 8:36to buy a phone like this, you might as
- 8:38well watch those videos with the whole
- 8:40screen and just prop the phone up using
- 8:42a Torras case like the Q3 spinner, our
- 8:44sponsor. This is everything that I want
- 8:47from a foldable case. It protects both
- 8:49halves, proper hinge coverage, the
- 8:50finish feels fancy, all with the
- 8:53greatest stand that you can get on a
- 8:54mobile phone.
- 8:56I literally use one of these every
- 8:57single day of my life. And it's when
- 8:59you're propping your phone up like this,
- 9:00off angle, under the lights, that you
- 9:02notice the one thing that really
- 9:04deserves to be praised.
- 9:06Nano texture. When you put this phone
- 9:08side by side with other iPhones or other
- 9:10foldables, me personally, I think the
- 9:12picture quality looks 95% as great
- 9:14head-on. Slightly less contrast, but I
- 9:17think this is more than outweighed by
- 9:18how it hides the crease, it masks
- 9:20fingerprints, and how the moment that
- 9:22any light hits it, the thing is so
- 9:25anti-reflective that it even makes other
- 9:27phones that have anti-reflective
- 9:28coatings look like mirrors. So that is
- 9:31everything with the display. Some
- 9:32genuine wins, but also plenty of
- 9:35caveats. And here's the thing, the
- 9:37display is also where the phone's next
- 9:39problem starts. While it's great to see
- 9:41that the Duo has the exact same A20 Pro
- 9:44chip as Apple's Pro phones, the vapor
- 9:46chamber attached to it has had to be
- 9:48shrunk because there's less space. And
- 9:50bear in mind, the Duo has an additional
- 9:53thermal hurdle that it has to overcome
- 9:55because when you're using the thing
- 9:56shut, it's like a display sandwich where
- 10:00any heat that's generated on the inside
- 10:02is going to have an extremely hard job
- 10:04dissipating outside. So, if we run a
- 10:06stress test for 20 minutes and jump over
- 10:08to the thermal view, can you see how
- 10:10compared to the iPhone 18 Pro Max, much
- 10:13less of the internal heat is reaching
- 10:15the outside of the phone? It appears to
- 10:17be cooler, but that's because the heat
- 10:19is trapped. And you can see this
- 10:20reflected in the results. While the
- 10:22Duo's performance does already start
- 10:24slightly lower than the Pro Max's, it
- 10:26also falls faster as the stress test
- 10:28goes on. Although, worth noting that it
- 10:30still quite handily beats out Samsung's
- 10:32equivalent. You'll notice a similar
- 10:34compromise when you open up the
- 10:36foldables because
- 10:37>> [music]
- 10:37>> while heat isn't getting trapped
- 10:38anymore, you now just have a larger,
- 10:40higher resolution display that [music]
- 10:42you have to power. And that's demanding
- 10:44in its own way. Are you going to notice
- 10:46these differences day-to-day?
- 10:49Slightly, not massively. It's just yet
- 10:51another smaller thing to add to the
- 10:53list, but probably shouldn't
- 10:55individually swing your decision. But if
- 10:57there's anything that is going to, it's
- 10:58got to be the cameras, right? Because
- 11:00this on paper is the single biggest
- 11:02compromise that you have to make if
- 11:03you're going to go Duo. The main camera
- 11:05sensor is about 33% smaller than the Pro
- 11:08with no variable aperture. There is no
- 11:09telephoto camera at all. The outer
- 11:11selfie camera is 12 MP instead of the
- 11:13Pro's 18. And then the inner selfie
- 11:15camera, this under display thing, shoots
- 11:18at just four. So, it sounds really bad.
- 11:21In practice, it actually surprised me a
- 11:23little because like this main camera for
- 11:25example, it sucks a lot less than I was
- 11:28expecting it to. I think clearly the A20
- 11:30Pro chip is doing the heavy lifting
- 11:32because in terms of [music] skin tones,
- 11:34even in terms of like detail, I think
- 11:36most people will struggle to tell the
- 11:37difference during the daytime. And this
- 11:39is just as true for photos. The key
- 11:41thing that separates the two is just the
- 11:43slight extra natural background blur
- 11:45that you're going to get on the Pro. I
- 11:46was expecting the Duo to tank when it
- 11:48comes to low light because I mean, if
- 11:49we're being very honest, it's not
- 11:51exactly a massive sensor on the thing.
- 11:53But when you compare that to the Pro,
- 11:55yes, you'll notice differences. I don't
- 11:57think the Duo is at all doing badly. In
- 11:59fact, to make that point, let's bring in
- 12:01the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a minute. I
- 12:03would actually go as far as to say that
- 12:05the difference between the Samsung and
- 12:06the Duo is actually larger than the
- 12:09difference between the Duo and the Pro.
- 12:11Like just look at the softness of my
- 12:13face or you know that stuff in the
- 12:15background that's just become pure noise
- 12:17on the Samsung. I thought that the
- 12:19clarity of speech might give it away.
- 12:21After all, the Duo doesn't inherit the
- 12:23studio-grade four microphone array that
- 12:26the Pros have.
- 12:26>> But I have tried so many side-by-sides
- 12:29in so many different types of scenarios.
- 12:31And if this is what the Pro sounds like,
- 12:33this is what the Duo sounds like. It's
- 12:36kind of just a reminder of how
- 12:38disproportionately large of a part that
- 12:40software tuning and processing are now
- 12:42playing in the modern camera experience.
- 12:45>> But one thing that no amount of
- 12:46processing is going to be able to fix is
- 12:48the eradication of that telephoto
- 12:50camera. Because let's say you're at a
- 12:51concert and you want to zoom in on the
- 12:53performer. The absolute maximum amount
- 12:55of zoom you're going to get out of the
- 12:56Duo is six times in video. And of
- 12:59course, that's entirely digital. So I
- 13:01mean, you're just asking to get bullied
- 13:03if you post this somewhere. Now, this
- 13:04whole long-range zoom thing is very
- 13:07annoying, but is only going to crop up
- 13:09very irregularly. So the thing that I'm
- 13:11actually more concerned about is the
- 13:13slightly annoying thing that's going to
- 13:15crop up all the time. And that's
- 13:17portrait mode. Because there's no
- 13:18telephoto, you basically have to choose
- 13:21on this Duo. Do you want to use the main
- 13:22camera and go super close, which gives
- 13:24you a full-quality portrait, but is
- 13:26going to distort the proportions of your
- 13:28subject, or do you take a step back and
- 13:30use digital zoom, at which point you get
- 13:32much nicer, more correct proportions,
- 13:35but then the image quality takes a dive.
- 13:37And then,
- 13:38>> [sighs]
- 13:38>> you've got the selfie compromise. So,
- 13:40when the Duo is folded up, you get a
- 13:4112-megapixel camera versus the Pro's 18.
- 13:43And let's put it this way, you will not
- 13:46confuse the two. The Pro is not just
- 13:48significantly higher resolution, but
- 13:50captures way more around you if you want
- 13:52to go wide. And then, the inner selfie
- 13:54camera is, to probably absolutely no
- 13:58one's surprise,
- 13:59absolutely tragic. It genuinely looks
- 14:01like I'm shooting this through a
- 14:03pre-compressed Instagram filter. Apple
- 14:05specifically calls this a FaceTime
- 14:07camera, and
- 14:08I would say, uh, stick to that.
- 14:11You can take selfies with it,
- 14:13but don't. I would say, if you have your
- 14:15phone open and you decide that you want
- 14:17to, what you should actually do is flip
- 14:18the whole thing around, swipe this icon,
- 14:21which deactivates the inner screen and
- 14:22then activates the outer screen, and
- 14:24then use this to take the selfie with
- 14:26your main set of rear cameras. And to
- 14:28give the Duo its flowers, the fact that
- 14:30you can even do that to film on this
- 14:32selfie camera over here is a massive
- 14:34perk, because while it is a bit of a
- 14:36maneuver, you could argue that it takes
- 14:38selfies on this phone from the worst
- 14:40that an iPhone has had in the last
- 14:42decade to easily the best. Plus, as well
- 14:45as the main camera, which then looks
- 14:46like this, this also opens up the
- 14:48opportunity to use your rear ultra-wide,
- 14:50which is extraordinarily wide, while
- 14:53still being, I would say, very good
- 14:55quality for selfie standards. And it's
- 14:57all finished off with a couple of little
- 14:59extras, like these kid Q animations to
- 15:02capture the interest of your little
- 15:03ones, which is a good idea, but feels a
- 15:06little proof of concept right now, cuz
- 15:08there's literally zero configurability.
- 15:10And then, the other one is Smart Take,
- 15:12which
- 15:13I can't see myself using. It lets you
- 15:15prop the phone up, and it'll then just
- 15:17capture automatically when it thinks
- 15:19you're posing, and let you know with the
- 15:20flash each time it's taken something,
- 15:22which sounds interesting. But, in my
- 15:23testing, it can't really tell whether
- 15:25I'm posing or just yawning or
- 15:28stretching. So, you just end up with a
- 15:29pile of junk photos in between your good
- 15:31ones. And most of all, it just reminded
- 15:33me how much better another person is
- 15:35going to be at framing your photos as
- 15:37opposed to just leaving your phone at an
- 15:38angle that you think might work without
- 15:41seeing the end composition. So, is the
- 15:43Duo's camera a deal breaker? For me
- 15:45personally, yes. I'd miss the telephoto
- 15:48too much. I'd miss having the best main
- 15:49camera and even just the nitty-gritty
- 15:51pro controls. But, I also think that if
- 15:54you care even a little bit less than I
- 15:55do and you're happy with the Duo to flip
- 15:58the thing around every time you want to
- 15:59take selfies, then
- 16:01it's not actually as big of a sacrifice
- 16:03as you might think. But, cameras are not
- 16:06the only thing that gets squeezed when
- 16:08you split a phone in two. There's often
- 16:10less room for speakers, too. So, here's
- 16:12how the Duo sound.
- 16:16>> [music]

- 16:23>> Hopefully, you could tell the
- 16:24difference. Vocals not as crisp on the
- 16:26Duo as they are the Pro. As far as
- 16:29folding phones go, it's not bad, but
- 16:31because you don't actually have a
- 16:32speaker unit that's facing you when the
- 16:34thing's opened, clarity is going to
- 16:36suffer. But, if there's one thing that a
- 16:39giant folding display has the potential
- 16:41to not just reduce, but absolutely
- 16:43murder,
- 16:45it's going to be battery life. So, I run
- 16:46a small combination of intensive and not
- 16:48so intensive apps, also including
- 16:50Samsung Z Fold A in the comparison, and
- 16:52partway through the test, also closed up
- 16:54the two folding phones to factor in that
- 16:57most people probably will spend about
- 16:58half their time using them like this.
- 17:00And assuming that you have that balance,
- 17:03I actually found that the battery isn't
- 17:05bad at all. The Duo came out on top of
- 17:08not just Samsung, but also the smaller
- 17:10iPhone 18 Pro. So, battery is not going
- 17:12to be a problem. Equally though, the Duo
- 17:14is still some way away from the 18 Pro
- 17:17Max, so if that's your alternative
- 17:19option, then you are leaving a lot of
- 17:21juice on the table, especially since the
- 17:22Pro Max that I have here is the physical
- 17:25SIM smaller capacity version with
- 17:27slightly slower charging, too. Now that
- 17:30the phones were flat, I plugged each one
- 17:32in for exactly 20 minutes, and the Duo
- 17:34came out bottom of the pack with 42%.
- 17:37That's not tragic by any means, but a
- 17:39compromise nonetheless compared to both
- 17:41Samsung and other iPhones. And bear in
- 17:44mind, these are the fast speeds which
- 17:46you only get with Apple's new chargers
- 17:48or something like the Taurus Flash
- 17:50iDock, the interactive alternative. It
- 17:53detects exactly which model is being
- 17:55plugged in to match it with the optimal
- 17:57balance of charging speed and
- 17:58temperature. It gives you wattage and
- 18:00real-time battery level, and it's just a
- 18:02bit of fun, too, with all these
- 18:03expressions and even vibrations. Link
- 18:06below for more on Taurus. So, the more
- 18:08that I keep testing this phone, the more
- 18:10that I feel like we're just going round
- 18:12and collecting this growing list of
- 18:14small asterisks, caveats that each on
- 18:17their own are nowhere near deal
- 18:18breakers, but if you stack enough of
- 18:20them up, they start to feel like one.
- 18:23And
- 18:23>> [music]
- 18:23>> I think for me, the one that tips it is
- 18:26the ergonomics. Because with a foldable
- 18:28phone, and really this foldable phone
- 18:30more than most, you spend a lot of your
- 18:31day stretching, juggling, and
- 18:34maneuvering the thing just to use it
- 18:36normally. You're going to open and close
- 18:38it like 50 times a day. That's a
- 18:40two-handed operation every time. The
- 18:42volume buttons have been shunted up to
- 18:43this odd position at the top. So,
- 18:45there's a little reshuffle whenever you
- 18:47want to touch them. And even closed, I
- 18:49find the far side of this screen a
- 18:51little out of reach. And I think this is
- 18:53because while it might look like this
- 18:55very pretty, very cute little
- 18:57passport-size device from the front,
- 18:59there is nothing cute about the heft of
- 19:02it. This thing is almost 30% thicker
- 19:04than an iPhone 18 Pro Max. So, you find
- 19:07that it really fills out your hand, and
- 19:09you have to grip it properly. Same
- 19:11against the smaller 18-Pro, while also
- 19:13being about 20% heavier than that phone.
- 19:15I even found that when mounted on most
- 19:17of my MagSafe stands and chargers, the
- 19:19weight actually causes the phone to
- 19:21pivot on its own when it's open. So,
- 19:24when you start to put all of this
- 19:25together, it really does make me wonder.
- 19:28The small hassles this thing saves you
- 19:30on the odd occasion that you need to
- 19:31split screen two apps or you really need
- 19:33to juggle a few tabs like this in
- 19:35Safari, is that actually more than
- 19:37canceled out by the hassle that this
- 19:39thing adds every single time you pick it
- 19:41up? Not to mention, the two biggest
- 19:43asterisks of all, the price, how the Duo
- 19:46is not just as expensive as the Pro Max,
- 19:48but literally $700 more,
- 19:51and the durability. While it will no
- 19:53doubt help that Apple's fitted this with
- 19:54a titanium body and managed to still
- 19:57preserve the IP68 water and dust
- 19:59resistance, there is absolutely no doubt
- 20:01in my mind that this phone has way more
- 20:04ways to break and way more room for wear
- 20:06and tear than any normal bar phone. So,
- 20:09I would say, if you've used foldables
- 20:11before and you know what you're in for
- 20:12and you still really, really want a Duo,
- 20:15then [music] go for it. It does do some
- 20:16extremely cool things. But, if you're
- 20:18new to foldables and your kind of
- 20:20default alternative option would be a
- 20:22Pro or a Pro Max,
- 20:24I would
- 20:24>> [music]
- 20:24>> strongly steer you this way. I think
- 20:27it's a better phone.
- 20:28All right.
- 20:29Catch you in the next one.
