- 0:19minute to explore angular first let's
- 0:21start with the question what is angular
- 0:24well angular is a web framework that
- 0:27allows teams to deliver web apps with
- 0:30confidence
- 0:31angular provides the tools needed to
- 0:33build powerful scalable web applications
- 0:38angular is built on Three core values we
- 0:41want to create a platform that
- 0:43developers love to use now this in turn
- 0:46allows developers to build apps that
- 0:49their users love to use and finally we
- 0:52want to ensure that we create a
- 0:53community where everyone feels welcome
- 0:56and since you are starting your angular

- 1:03going to have a great time
- 1:05teams of different sizes use angular
- 1:07we've seen small teams build great apps
- 1:10and we've seen Enterprise level
- 1:11organizations use angular to build some
- 1:14incredible things so you are in great
- 1:16company but why do teams and
- 1:18organizations choose angular well we
- 1:21think it has to do with some of the
- 1:22strengths of the framework
- 1:24first we have world-class developer
- 1:27tooling that puts a focus on developer
- 1:30productivity angular developers are able
- 1:32to take advantage of tooling like the
- 1:35angular CLI that boosts productivity
- 1:37from the start angular Dev tools that
- 1:39provide important insights into
- 1:41applications and the language service
- 1:44that supercharges their IDE experience
- 1:48if you want to know more about these
- 1:50tools check out the notes for this video
- 1:52to find links to other content where we
- 1:55dive deeper into the tools that I
- 1:57mentioned
- 1:58angular is an opinionated framework but
- 2:01let me explain we want to reduce
- 2:03decision fatigue when building
- 2:05applications so it comes with some
- 2:07things already chosen for you
- 2:10for example developers won't need to
- 2:13choose a router solution they can just
- 2:16use the built-in router and focus on
- 2:18what matters
- 2:19building that new application
- 2:22we also like to call angular Evergreen
- 2:25with each new version We aim to bring
- 2:27the community and their projects along
- 2:29with us as we move angular forward we
- 2:32even have tooling that can help identify
- 2:34parts of the application that need to be
- 2:37updated and we provide the commands to
- 2:40make updates easier for users finally we
- 2:44bring best practices from the start
- 2:46angular uses typescript as the
- 2:48programming language for building web
- 2:50applications along with that we're able
- 2:52to include things like compile time
- 2:54checks or while you're writing your
- 2:56application that help you spot bugs
- 2:58early on there are even more best
- 3:01practices that developers are able to
- 3:03leverage when choosing angular
- 3:06alright friends we hope you are as
- 3:08excited as we are about this new angular
- 3:10Learning Journey great things are ahead
- 3:13so stick around
- 3:16alright friends let's discuss what you

- 3:28angular skills such as building
- 3:30components and Page routing and finally
- 3:34you'll make services and create HTTP
- 3:37requests
- 3:38here's the application that we'll be
- 3:41building together meet homes this is an
- 3:44application that enables users to find
- 3:46housing all right let's turn our Focus
- 3:49to the skills needed to complete this
