- 0:05features a unique blend of Montessori
- 0:07method and IB primary years program PYP
- 0:12is designed for children ages 3 through
- 0:1512 in today's video we will share a look
- 0:19at introduction of IB concepts in our
- 0:22primary classroom when Tesori
- 0:31and IB programs are a perfect match for
- 0:33many reasons both programs create
- 0:35internationally minded self-aware and
- 0:39independent students that love learning
- 0:43[Music]
- 0:44IB framework is adaptable to many types
- 0:47of curriculum primary years program
- 0:50challenges students to think for
- 0:52themselves and take responsibility for
- 0:54their learning as they explore local and
- 0:56global issues and opportunities in
- 0:58real-life contexts
- 1:02I be framework covers six main themes
- 1:06and in the bass lesson we will share the
- 1:09concept of where we are in place and
- 1:12time and how things change over the
- 1:15years it helps children to understand
- 1:17their position in the world and compare
- 1:19the items from the past and the present
- 1:22diamonds are an important part of the
- 1:24Montessori curriculum and teach the
- 1:27students how things change over time
- 1:29in this lesson students have an
- 1:31opportunity to compare a technology and
- 1:33objects from the past with everyday
- 1:36items to use regularly with the Soraa
- 1:40curriculum is focused on following the
- 1:42students in the entrance where IB
- 1:44program is focused on giving students
- 1:46ownership of their projects if you want
- 1:48to learn more about our elementary
- 1:51middle school programs and get a look
- 1:53inside the classrooms subscribe to our
