- 0:01Hello, my name is Yo and today I'll be
- 0:05doing my impromptu speech. Every human
- 0:09has connections to one another.
- 0:13These connections may last longer than
- 0:15others or sometimes it breaks suddenly
- 0:20and the consequences of those breaking
- 0:24relationships
- 0:27turn very extremely badly.
- 0:31Some of these consequences affect affect
- 0:37others
- 0:39than other people.
- 0:43The quote, "Don't bite the hand that
- 0:46feeds you," is a very similar
- 0:50and relevant topic
- 0:53to these couple sentences that I said
- 0:55right now.
- 0:58And my position to that quote is that
- 1:02when this quote is taken in seriousness
- 1:06by somebody
- 1:08that person's life
- 1:11is so much easier. The reason the two
- 1:15reasons for that is one it reduces
- 1:18conflict amongst people and two instead
- 1:22of completing things on your own
- 1:26you can complete it with other people.
- 1:30So my first
- 1:33reason is that it as I said is that it
- 1:36reduces conflict amongst people. This is
- 1:39from my personal own experience where
- 1:43uh I had a I still maintain relationship
- 1:48with one of my friends since freshman
- 1:50year of high school.
- 1:54During freshman year, I was this close
- 1:57of binding their hand because they
- 1:59betrayed one of my friends. But I knew
- 2:02that I I shouldn't because I knew it
- 2:05wasn't their fault. I moved on from it
- 2:08and eventually um a year later,
- 2:11sophomore year, junior year, senior
- 2:13year, we continued to maintain
- 2:17friendship and had learned no conflicts
- 2:20amongst each other despite talking less
- 2:24because we were we got more busier over
- 2:27time.
- 2:28My second reason is you're able to
- 2:31complete things
- 2:34with with people instead of yourself.
- 2:38This is my example is from the movie uh
- 2:42Zootopia 2 where Nick and Judy
- 2:46experience tension in a relationship
- 2:48because they cannot
- 2:51they cannot do it. They can they cannot
- 2:53work with each other.
- 2:56However, when it came
- 2:59to the case that
- 3:03Judy was basically out,
- 3:06um Nick
- 3:10helps Judy
- 3:12thanks to the snake, thanks to Snake's
- 3:14advice. He he gets the pen and then the
- 3:18snake receives the pen and then gives
- 3:20like a indose like insulin to Judy and
- 3:24then eventually they Judy and Nick they
- 3:28since their relationship wasn't
- 3:32broken they're able to
- 3:36expose
- 3:37something that wasn't able to be exposed
- 3:43in that community for the past few
- 3:46decades.
- 3:48So
- 3:50to recap,
- 3:52the quote of don't bite the hand that
- 3:55feeds you uh should be considered
- 3:59should be taken seriously in life
- 4:00because it makes life easier because one
- 4:02it reduces conflict amongst people and
- 4:04two you can complete things more
- 4:09with people instead of your own.
- 4:13And finally
- 4:15the key in life I think is connection.
- 4:19And
- 4:21the key to become happy is have many
- 4:24many connections and but sometimes
- 4:27connections have to be broken.
- 4:30But make sure when the connections have
- 4:34to be bitten do it at the right time. Do
- 4:39it at the right time. Thank you.
