  1. 0:00What is a SaaS? A micro SaaS and an AI
  2. 0:03SaaS. In this video, we will talk
  3. 0:05exactly about that. Welcome to my
  4. 0:06channel, and welcome back if you are
  5. 0:08already subscribed. Make sure to
  6. 0:10subscribe if you haven't, because here
  7. 0:12I explain how to do business, how to
  8. 0:14sell digital products, how to create an
  9. 0:16extra stream of income, and how to earn
  10. 0:18money online; basically, all my
  11. 0:20passions, my know-how, my skills, and
  12. 0:22everything I've been doing for years.
  13. 0:24Now, before building a SaaS, a Micro
  14. 0:26SaaS, an AI SaaS, or whatever it is,
  15. 0:28you need to understand what you are
  16. 0:30building. Let's start with the
  17. 0:32definition of software. What is
  18. 0:34software? It is simply a tool that we
  19. 0:37use to solve a problem. Canva, Notion,
  20. 0:42Slack, Spotify, Google Drive, ChatGPT
  21. 0:44—there are billions of them out there
  22. 0:47, but don't think about the tool itself
  23. 0:49; think about the problem that the tool
  24. 0:52solves. Software has changed now. What
  25. 0:57happened in the past? You would buy
  26. 0:59software, install it, and use it. Today
  27. 1:02, it is totally different. The game has
  28. 1:05changed drastically. How does software
  29. 1:08work today? You access it online, use
  30. 1:11it, and pay over time. As you use it,
  31. 1:14welcome to SaaS. What is a SaaS? It is
  32. 1:17Software as a Service, software
  33. 1:20provided as a service, generally via
  34. 1:23the internet. The customer no longer
  35. 1:25buys the program itself, but buys
  36. 1:28access to it. The real power, however,
  37. 1:30as I mentioned before, is not the
  38. 1:32software, it's the model. And that's
  39. 1:34why I am becoming so passionate about
  40. 1:36this business model, why we are doing
  41. 1:39it every day, and why we are scaling it
  42. 1:41as much as possible. What is the model
  43. 1:43of software today? What is the model of
  44. 1:45a SaaS? It is Monthly Recurring Revenue
  45. 1:50. What does that mean? It means the
  46. 1:51customer pays as long as the product
  47. 1:53generates value. And this is absurd—
  48. 1:56it's pure mathematics. You sell your
  49. 1:59SaaS, you sell access to your SaaS for
  50. 2:01€ 30 a month; 100 customers means €
  51. 2:033,000 in monthly recurring revenue, so
  52. 2:05€ 3,000 monthly entering your coffers
  53. 2:07. With 1,000 customers, it's € 30,000
  54. 2:12; with 10,000 customers, it's €
  55. 2:14300,000 of monthly recurring revenue,
  56. 2:16meaning monthly income entering your
  57. 2:18wallet thanks to your SaaS. But be
  58. 2:21careful, because SaaS is not just a
  59. 2:23subscription; it is different from just
  60. 2:25a subscription. There are many payment
  61. 2:28methods, many income methods: there is
  62. 2:31monthly income, annual income, and
  63. 2:34usage-based, depending on how much a
  64. 2:38person uses your subscription. There is
  65. 2:41the credit-based model. Now with AI,
  66. 2:44the credit-based model is used a lot,
  67. 2:45so the more credits are used within
  68. 2:47your SaaS, the more you earn. There's
  69. 2:50the freemium model, a free version to
  70. 2:52get people interacting with your app,
  71. 2:54letting them try your service, and then
  72. 2:57paid to access additional features. Or
  73. 3:00there's the transaction fee, so every
  74. 3:02time you perform an action within your
  75. 3:05SaaS, there is a payment. Guys, you
  76. 3:07already use them every single day.
  77. 3:10Netflix, Canva for design, Notion for
  78. 3:13productivity, Shopify for e-commerce,
  79. 3:16Calendly for scheduling, Slack for team
  80. 3:19communication, Dropbox: in short, there
  81. 3:22are so many. They all solve a different
  82. 3:26problem, but if you look closely, they
  83. 3:28all have the exact same business model.
  84. 3:31Now, what we're doing isn't building
  85. 3:33the next Salesforce, the next Canva, or
  86. 3:35the next Shopify; that doesn't matter.
  87. 3:39Big SaaS companies have hundreds of
  88. 3:41employees, millions of customers, many
  89. 3:44features, a huge market, and above all,
  90. 3:46a lot of capital. We can play a
  91. 3:50different game, and this is where I
  92. 3:53want you: the world of micro-SaaS. Here
  93. 3:56is the difference. A micro-SaaS is a
  94. 3:59small software focused on a specific
  95. 4:01problem for a specific segment. So, we
  96. 4:04identify a niche, understand the
  97. 4:06problem within that niche, and then
  98. 4:08create software that provides a
  99. 4:10solution to that micro-problem. What is
  100. 4:12the difference between traditional SaaS
  101. 4:14and a micro-SaaS? Obviously, the
  102. 4:16problem—first of all, in traditional
  103. 4:18SaaS, there is a very broad problem. In
  104. 4:20micro-SaaS, this problem is specific.
  105. 4:23The market for traditional SaaS is
  106. 4:25usually very, very large. In micro-SaaS
  107. 4:28, it is vertical. The team—obviously,
  108. 4:31in Big SaaS, the team is potentially
  109. 4:33very, very large. In micro-SaaS, you
  110. 4:35can even do it solo, a term widely used
  111. 4:38today called "solopreneur," meaning an
  112. 4:41entrepreneur on their own. In
  113. 4:42traditional SaaS, there are many
  114. 4:44features; there are tons of
  115. 4:46functionalities. In micro-SaaS, they
  116. 4:48are few but important, fundamental,
  117. 4:50precise, straight to the point, and the
  118. 4:52capital—especially in traditional
  119. 4:54SaaS—is potentially very, very high.
  120. 4:56In micro-SaaS, it is potentially much,
  121. 4:59much lower. You don't have to serve
  122. 5:01everyone; you have to serve someone in
  123. 5:03particular very well. So we shouldn't
  124. 5:06think, for example, "I want to create
  125. 5:07marketing software"—that is
  126. 5:08absolutely too broad. Let me give an
  127. 5:10example. There's marketing, let's drill
  128. 5:12down further, there's Instagram
  129. 5:14marketing, let's drill down more,
  130. 5:16there's content creation, let's get
  131. 5:18even more specific, real estate agents
  132. 5:20—so what do I do? Software that
  133. 5:22automatically turns listings into Reels
  134. 5:24. This is a perfect example to help you
  135. 5:27understand the mindset behind
  136. 5:28Micro-SaaS and how a Micro-SaaS works.
  137. 5:31I choose a specific niche and solve a
  138. 5:33problem within that specific niche. Be
  139. 5:36careful, though, because "small"
  140. 5:38absolutely does not mean "not
  141. 5:39profitable," and I will prove it to you
  142. 5:41in the next video. With facts and
  143. 5:43figures in hand. So, please, I remind
  144. 5:45you again: subscribe and turn on that
  145. 5:47notification bell. You only need 500
  146. 5:50customers at € 49 a month to have a
  147. 5:52Monthly Recurring Revenue of € 24,500
  148. 5:54and an Annual Recurring Revenue of €
  149. 5:57294,000. You don't need a million users
  150. 6:01; you just need to develop a SaaS. The
  151. 6:04barrier to entry for this business
  152. 6:06model has dropped drastically, and
  153. 6:08finding 500 customers to pay you € 49
  154. 6:10a month for your service gives you a
  155. 6:12monthly income of almost € 25,000.
  156. 6:15Micro-SaaS changes the rules: a
  157. 6:17specific niche, a simple product, a
  158. 6:19small team, and recurring revenue. You
  159. 6:22don't have to become the next unicorn;
  160. 6:24you just need to build a small,
  161. 6:26profitable machine. But watch out,
  162. 6:28because now there is another category
  163. 6:30that has come into play. We've talked
  164. 6:33about SaaS, about Micro-SaaS; now let's
  165. 6:35talk about AI SaaS. An AI SaaS is a
  166. 6:38SaaS where artificial intelligence is a
  167. 6:40central component of the value
  168. 6:42generated for the customer. So we can
  169. 6:45generate, analyze, classify, automate,
  170. 6:48predict, and above all, personalize.
  171. 6:51Just putting ChatGPT inside isn't
  172. 6:53enough, though, and that's the mistake
  173. 6:54everyone makes. They think that a SaaS
  174. 6:56is made with AI just by inserting
  175. 6:58ChatGPT into it and making it work.
  176. 7:00Absolutely not. The product with this
  177. 7:03AI feature would certainly work anyway,
  178. 7:06but the AI just adds a function. In an
  179. 7:09AI SaaS, the AI is a fundamental part
  180. 7:11of the result the customer is buying.
  181. 7:13Always ask yourself this question: if I
  182. 7:16remove the AI from my SaaS, does the
  183. 7:18main value remain the same? Let's start
  184. 7:19with a potential problem. Okay, I'm a
  185. 7:21content creator and I don't know which
  186. 7:23of my competitors 'content is actually
  187. 7:25working. So what does a Micro-SaaS do?
  188. 7:28It creates a dashboard that collects
  189. 7:29and organizes competitor content and
  190. 7:31gives me analytics. Perfect. In that
  191. 7:33case, what does an AI SaaS do instead?
  192. 7:35It finds better content, understands
  193. 7:38the patterns, the look, the angle,
  194. 7:40generates new scripts, and predicts how
  195. 7:42they will perform. This is the
  196. 7:45difference between a Micro-SaaS, which
  197. 7:48is based on automations and data we
  198. 7:50already have, and an AI SaaS that
  199. 7:52reasons intelligently and can even
  200. 7:54predict what might happen. But be
  201. 7:58careful, because the customer doesn't
  202. 8:00buy the AI; as always, the customer
  203. 8:02buys more time, more money, lower costs
  204. 8:04, and less effort. Better results. The
  205. 8:07AI is the engine of the AI SaaS, but
  206. 8:09the result is the product. Why does
  207. 8:11this opportunity exist now? Because
  208. 8:14before, obviously, you needed an idea,
  209. 8:15a developer, a designer, a backend, a
  210. 8:17frontend, you needed months of
  211. 8:19development, and you needed a lot of
  212. 8:21money. Today, an idea is enough, then
  213. 8:25AI, no-code, APIs, and "vibe coding"
  214. 8:28come into play; all terms and features
  215. 8:31that I will show you as soon as
  216. 8:33possible. At that point, we already
  217. 8:36have a prototype, and in practically
  218. 8:38days, we can have our AI-SaaS on the
  219. 8:40market. The barriers to creation have
  220. 8:43diminished enormously. But what does
  221. 8:45this mean? That you no longer have to
  222. 8:47be the best programmer, instead, you
  223. 8:49must become good at finding problems,
  224. 8:51understanding customers, validating
  225. 8:53demand, designing solutions, and using
  226. 8:55the right resources, but above all,
  227. 8:57selling. The new founder is a problem
  228. 9:01solver. The new founder from today
  229. 9:03thinks in this way. Think of a person,
  230. 9:06think of the problem that person has,
  231. 9:08think of the current process, the
  232. 9:10solution through this software, the
  233. 9:12result, and then the recurring payment.
  234. 9:15Let's go back to the real estate agent
  235. 9:17example, specifically: we have the
  236. 9:18person, the real estate agent, the
  237. 9:20problem, listings that take hours,
  238. 9:22current process, they create them by
  239. 9:23hand. The software solution, from an ad
  240. 9:26to a reel, ready to use. The result, 5
  241. 9:29hours saved. Recurring payment, 49
  242. 9:32euros per month. So, the question you
  243. 9:34must always ask yourselves is not "I
  244. 9:36want to create something with AI," but
  245. 9:38"what is a problem I can solve 10X
  246. 9:40better thanks to AI?" So, please, let
  247. 9:43me know what you think, let me know if
  248. 9:44you understood the substantial
  249. 9:45difference between these three digital
  250. 9:47products. SaaS is software provided as
  251. 9:50a service. Micro-SaaS is software
  252. 9:52focused on a problem, a specific niche,
  253. 9:55and AI-SaaS is software where AI is
  254. 9:57central to generating the result. What
  255. 10:00is a problem that someone would pay
  256. 10:02every month not to have anymore? So
  257. 10:04don't think about the software, think
  258. 10:05about the problem. In the next video, I
  259. 10:08will show you how to find micro-SaaS
  260. 10:10and AI-SaaS ideas that people really
  261. 10:12want to buy, and I assure you it's
  262. 10:14incredible, impressive, and you have no
  263. 10:17idea how much potential and how many
  264. 10:19opportunities are out there. By the way
  265. 10:22, as I am recording this video, I know
  266. 10:24I have to do it because it's part of my
  267. 10:25job, making content, etc., but I can't
  268. 10:27wait to finish it to go back to
  269. 10:28researching new ideas, new
  270. 10:30opportunities, because it's truly full
  271. 10:31of them. So thanks for everything, I
  272. 10:33hope you understood, leave a comment,
  273. 10:35let me know what you think. See you in
  274. 10:36the next video.
