- 0:01Capacitive sensors with teaching
- 0:03functions.
- 0:06Simple switch point teaching, for
- 0:08example, for level monitoring in
- 0:10vessels.
- 0:12By adjusting to the empty state, the KI
- 0:15type sensor suppresses the installation
- 0:17surroundings and re-teaches the sensor.
- 0:27If the level rises above the set value,
- 0:29the sensor switches.
- 0:34If the level in the vessel falls below
- 0:36the set value, the sensor switches off.
- 0:45Capacitive sensors, however, do not
- 0:47switch off if there are residues, for
- 0:49example, of orange juice.
- 0:52Only with IFM's new electronic operating
- 0:54concept of the teach buttons is it
- 0:56possible to suppress residues more
- 0:58simply.
- 1:01To do so, an additional full adjustment
- 1:03can be carried out.
- 1:09The flashing LED confirms the successful
- 1:12adjustment.
- 1:23We see that the sensor has suppressed
- 1:25the residues of the orange juice by
- 1:27means of the electronic adjustment and
- 1:29switches off.
- 1:32The new operating system is also
- 1:34available for the designs KG and KQ.
