  1. 0:00Okay, Melissa Gamrouki.
  2. 0:02I burned out chasing success and over
  3. 0:04time avoiding hard work became a habit.
  4. 0:05I've been building and willing to make
  5. 0:07the sacrifices. How do I break the
  6. 0:08plateau?
  7. 0:09Without Or actually, how do I break the
  8. 0:10pattern without returning to unhealthy
  9. 0:13habits?
  10. 0:14Man, you've got a lot of words in there
  11. 0:17that feel very heavy.
  12. 0:19Um
  13. 0:21I think this is really important. So,
  14. 0:23I'm going to say this again for everyone
  15. 0:24cuz I'm I'm going to repeat Melissa's
  16. 0:26question.
  17. 0:27I burned out chasing success. We have no
  18. 0:30idea what success means here. And over
  19. 0:31time avoiding hard work became a habit.
  20. 0:34So, you just
  21. 0:36didn't do [ __ ] Okay. I'm rebuilding
  22. 0:38now. But it's like you're not
  23. 0:39rebuilding. Like we're not building a
  24. 0:40house, right? Again, I
  25. 0:43I'm so so anal with language because
  26. 0:46we we weave ourselves into these traps
  27. 0:49and we create handcuffs with the words
  28. 0:51that we use that don't mean anything.
  29. 0:53Right? And so, we create these visual
  30. 0:55words like handcuffs that chain us to
  31. 0:59our present, but there is no chain. You
  32. 1:02are not a prisoner. You can just do
  33. 1:04whatever the [ __ ] you want. And so,
  34. 1:07you're rebuilding now willing to make
  35. 1:08sacrifices. It's like what sacrifices
  36. 1:09are we talking about? How do I break the
  37. 1:10pattern? So, in this condition I behave
  38. 1:13a specific way without returning to my
  39. 1:15unhealthy habits, my other patterns,
  40. 1:17which let's define healthy, right? And
  41. 1:20so,
  42. 1:21All right. Zooming out, Melissa.
  43. 1:25You just have to do stuff
  44. 1:28that gets you the outcome you want.
  45. 1:30And if you're not doing that stuff, that
  46. 1:31it means that you are more rewarded for
  47. 1:33doing nothing than doing the thing,
  48. 1:35which makes sense.
  49. 1:37And so, you will need to have something
  50. 1:39that motivates you in a good way that
  51. 1:41you can go towards or something that
  52. 1:43motivates you in a bad way that you can
  53. 1:45run away from. You can use both. You can
  54. 1:47use one. It doesn't really matter.
  55. 1:49But I think that
  56. 1:52like when you said you got burned out
  57. 1:53chasing success, I hit this one earlier.
  58. 1:55Like
  59. 1:56you need I think some people need to I
  60. 1:57need to make bigger risks. You need to
  61. 1:58make bigger bets.
  62. 2:00Like it's like I'm only willing to do
  63. 2:02this thing, but if it does work, it
  64. 2:04doesn't matter. It's like, well, then
  65. 2:05why do it? Like make a bigger bet. Make
  66. 2:07a bet that you're like a little nervous
  67. 2:09about because that's what's going to
  68. 2:10motivate you.
  69. 2:12Right? It's the stakes. I think stakes
  70. 2:14are not spoken enough about.
  71. 2:16Like you have you have you've reached a
  72. 2:17certain level of competence. You're able
  73. 2:19to like feed yourself and and and and
  74. 2:21and go to work every day.
  75. 2:22Congratulations. That's good. That's an
  76. 2:23accomplishment. Nothing wrong with that.
  77. 2:25Um
  78. 2:26but I think that like you have to look
  79. 2:28back like a lot of a lot of my life I
  80. 2:29spend looking backwards from a future
  81. 2:31version of myself saying, what will I be
  82. 2:32dissatisfied about the person that I am
  83. 2:34today? Like what will that guy say about
  84. 2:36today? What will he nitpick me for?
  85. 2:39That
  86. 2:41that I would be ashamed of in the
  87. 2:42future.
  88. 2:43And then I let that shame of my future
  89. 2:45self motivate me today to move.
  90. 2:53But at the end of the day, I think you
  91. 2:54just got to do some [ __ ] and not worry
  92. 2:55about all these words that you're using
  93. 2:57because I think they are just keeping
  94. 2:58you down. All right. If you like this
  95. 3:00video and you're a business owner who
  96. 3:01wants to break through your current
  97. 3:02revenue ceiling, I distilled every
  98. 3:04lesson from scaling 10 businesses past
  99. 3:0510 million and three businesses past 100
  100. 3:07million into a completely free scaling
  101. 3:09roadmap that I've used to go from zero
  102. 3:11to one, zero to 10, and zero to 100
  103. 3:13plus. And so you can click here and you
  104. 3:14can check it out. Again, absolutely free
  105. 3:16and since you're a business owner,
  106. 3:17appreciates you and enjoy.
