  1. 0:00Okay, as someone growing, there we go.
  2. 0:01Drake. So, as someone growing and trying
  3. 0:03to grow a marketing agency, I'm very
  4. 0:05heavily using personal brand in my
  5. 0:07content. Is there a way to start to grow
  6. 0:08the company branding without me? I would
  7. 0:10encourage you to just lean into your
  8. 0:11personal brand for now, dude.
  9. 0:13Like I just
  10. 0:17I mean, dude. Look at Look at
  11. 0:19acquisition.com. Look at how many
  12. 0:21followers acquisition.com has and look
  13. 0:22at me. And we post it on acquisition.com
  14. 0:24across a lot of platforms. And the
  15. 0:26follower count is not even close, right?
  16. 0:28Um
  17. 0:29Like you could look at any example out
  18. 0:31there. Like people follow people more
  19. 0:32than they follow businesses. It's just
  20. 0:33like they're faceless corporations. It
  21. 0:35doesn't matter what Like it's very, very
  22. 0:37hard. And even the businesses that are
  23. 0:39like Nike, I think is the best example
  24. 0:41of a business that doesn't have a single
  25. 0:43personal brand. But what do they do?
  26. 0:44They have a load of personal
  27. 0:45brands. They just find the goats. That
  28. 0:47is literally Nike's strategy. They find
  29. 0:49the goat of every single uh sport. They
  30. 0:51lock them down for life or to the
  31. 0:52greatest degree they can or or for the
  32. 0:54entirety of their peak career. And they
  33. 0:56say, "That guy wears Nike." Tiger Woods
  34. 0:57wears Nike during the entirety of his
  35. 0:59peak career. And then he can go start
  36. 1:00his own thing, right? MJ, he's with Nike
  37. 1:03for the basically his whole career.
  38. 1:04LeBron, his whole career, right? And so
  39. 1:06they they find these goats. They sign
  40. 1:08them up. And they basically they are the
  41. 1:09aggregate, the amalgamation of all the
  42. 1:11goats. That is how you really do
  43. 1:14uh brand right. Um and you can look at
  44. 1:17kind of the up-and-coming brands uh like
  45. 1:19Gymshark. Um
  46. 1:21And First Form's not up-and-coming, but
  47. 1:23uh but like First Form
  48. 1:25is a great example of somebody who's you
  49. 1:27know, with Andy. He's kind of like a
  50. 1:28hybrid where like he He has a personal
  51. 1:30brand following, but the the company is
  52. 1:32much bigger than he is.
  53. 1:34Right? So, that's kind of the a good
  54. 1:35hybrid situation. But either way, I
  55. 1:37would say that since you have your
  56. 1:38personal brand, I would not like
  57. 1:40Unless you're trying to sell this
  58. 1:41company on some very short timeline, you
  59. 1:43should lean into the advantage you have,
  60. 1:44which is that people like you and you're
  61. 1:46going to be making content. There you
  62. 1:47go. There's my two cents.
  63. 1:48All right. If you like this video and
