- 0:00This is Tina, and she's competing for a
- 0:02chance to win $100,000
- 0:04and this golden ticket, which gives her
- 0:05access to an entire year of guidance
- 0:07from me and the team behind my $250
- 0:09million per year portfolio. She'll have
- 0:11the next hour with me, where she'll
- 0:12explain her business, and at the end,
- 0:14I'll decide if she'll scale or fail. If
- 0:16she's chosen to scale, she'll move on to
- 0:18the finale for a chance to win the grand
- 0:19prize.
- 0:20My name is Alex Hormozi, and this is
- 0:23Scale or Fail.
- 0:24>> [music]
- 0:32>> My name is Tina Sue, and I help parents
- 0:35of children with autism, ADHD, and
- 0:37speech [music] delay. The reason why I'm
- 0:39here to get help is because I know that
- 0:42this mission is so [music] much bigger
- 0:44than me. It is my vision that in my
- 0:46lifetime, through this work, getting it
- 0:49out to as many families [music] as
- 0:50possible and having so many examples of
- 0:53children that are healing, so we can
- 0:54change the mainstream views on how
- 0:57autism [music] is treated.
- 1:00>> Hi.
- 1:01>> Hi. How's it going?
- 1:02>> Good. Amazing.
- 1:03>> Excited?
- 1:03>> Yeah.
- 1:04>> Ready to rock?
- 1:04>> Yes.
- 1:05>> All right.
- 1:05>> Yeah.
- 1:06>> Tell me about the business.
- 1:07>> My name is Tina, Tina Sue, and in the
- 1:08last 12 months I did $770,000,
- 1:12and $555,000
- 1:14is profit.
- 1:15>> Amazing.
- 1:16>> 72% profit margin.
- 1:17>> And you helped a bunch of families.
- 1:18>> Yep.
- 1:19>> Okay. So, what do you sell? How do you
- 1:20make the dollars work?
- 1:21>> Yeah, so my core product is called Hi
- 1:24Mama.
- 1:24>> Okay.
- 1:25>> And it's a group program that helps
- 1:27children [music] who have speech delay.
- 1:29So, for example, non-verbal kids to
- 1:31speak their first words.
- 1:32>> Okay.
- 1:33>> While also at the same time healing,
- 1:35reducing of autism symptoms as well.
- 1:38>> Okay. Got it. And the offer you sell is
- 1:402,500 bucks a year?
- 1:41>> Uh the offer, so the Hi Mama program is
- 1:442,500.
- 1:45>> Uh-huh.
- 1:46>> And it's for the year with a 3-month
- 1:48intensive in the beginning, 9 months of
- 1:50aftercare.
- 1:51>> Okay.
- 1:52>> So, once a person is in the program,
- 1:53then I sell them on to the all-access
- 1:55pass, which gets them every cohort of
- 1:58High Mama the 3-month intensive.
- 2:00>> Cool.
- 2:00>> So, they can stay in the energy and they
- 2:02can continue
- 2:03>> Cool.
- 2:03>> to move on to the next level of their
- 2:05children's healing.
- 2:06>> What do you think stopping you right
- 2:07now?
- 2:09>> Me?
- 2:11>> [laughter]
- 2:11>> Okay.
- 2:12>> So, I am doing everything.
- 2:15>> Mhm.
- 2:15>> Um I just like I can't let go of
- 2:18>> You're so busy.
- 2:18>> so so I have like every single Instagram
- 2:20conversation. This is how I currently I
- 2:22don't do sales calls. Uh and I'm in
- 2:25every piece of marketing. I'm in the
- 2:26delivery.
- 2:27>> Yeah.
- 2:27>> My team handles customer service, but
- 2:29I'm often in that as well. So, just I
- 2:31have my hands in everything and at the
- 2:33end of the day I just don't have time
- 2:35for anything. [music] So, low-hanging
- 2:37fruits just doesn't get done.
- 2:39>> Yeah.
- 2:40>> Yeah.
- 2:40>> Understood. Okay. Why does solving this
- 2:42matter? Why is growing this business
- 2:44important versus just staying where you
- 2:45are and making 500 grand a year?
- 2:46>> Yeah. Yeah. Um
- 2:48I mean, it's it's it's not about the
- 2:49money. Um before starting this business,
- 2:52I had another business and I still have
- 2:53that business and [music] I had
- 2:56developed that other business
- 2:58you know, from nothing like when my son
- 2:59was a baby between the hours of 8:00
- 3:02p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
- 3:03>> Savage.
- 3:04>> I grew that all the way to $20 million.
- 3:06>> Amazing.
- 3:07>> And I had that business when this
- 3:08happened with my son. And so um so my
- 3:11son used to have autism, ADHD, and
- 3:13epilepsy. And [music]
- 3:16we had done everything conventional
- 3:17medicine told us to do.
- 3:18>> Mhm.
- 3:19>> All the conventional therapies and
- 3:20medication.
- 3:21>> Mhm.
- 3:21>> And [music] my son got worse and at he
- 3:24was when he was nine.
- 3:26>> Yeah.
- 3:26>> The last [music] of his ADHD
- 3:28>> Mhm.
- 3:29>> I'm going to cry. Okay.
- 3:31>> When he was nine, the last of his ADHD
- 3:34medication stopped working. He had been
- 3:35on seven at that time.
- 3:37And they were ready to move him on to
- 3:39antipsychotics.
- 3:40>> Yeah.
- 3:41>> And he stopped [music] sleeping and it
- 3:42was just hell.
- 3:43>> Yeah.
- 3:44>> Yeah. Um
- 3:45>> And so, you wanted to fix it?
- 3:46>> And then somebody like just recommended
- 3:48it's like, "Hey, look into holistic
- 3:50change what you're eating and the
- 3:52environment and so I went on this like
- 3:55holistic journey to helping him.
- 3:58And
- 3:59in two years
- 4:01>> It's okay.
- 4:02>> Um
- 4:03>> [music]
- 4:03>> in two years all of his
- 4:06symptoms of autism, ADHD, and epilepsy
- 4:10went into [music] remission.
- 4:11>> Awesome.
- 4:12It's amazing.
- 4:13>> Yeah, and then when he got better
- 4:15I was like I have to do this.
- 4:17>> Yeah. Well, congratulations. You did it.
- 4:20Now you're helping people out. You're
- 4:22making money doing it.
- 4:22>> Yeah, so I had to like I just paused
- 4:24from my other business and like just
- 4:26went all in and just I just go in with
- 4:28the attitude [music] of I'm on year
- 4:29four. I just go in with like I didn't
- 4:31even look at the numbers. I'm like I
- 4:32don't even care. [music] I'm willing to
- 4:33work for free
- 4:35cuz that's how I started my first
- 4:36business is literally, you know,
- 4:39>> [sighs]
- 4:39>> So, we're going to You can big exhale.
- 4:43You're good. There you go. You're good.
- 4:44[laughter]
- 4:45>> not what I planned on saying.
- 4:46>> You're fine. Don't worry about it.
- 4:47You're good. I'll probably challenge you
- 4:49on a couple things around like the
- 4:50numbers and making money because I'm
- 4:54sensing that that will limit the amount
- 4:56of people that you can help because on
- 4:58some level and you can correct me if I'm
- 5:00wrong, it feels like you may have
- 5:02equated like maybe charging more having
- 5:05upsells or even having a more
- 5:06standardized sales process with bad. And
- 5:10I I don't think that that's going to be
- 5:13the case and I think the more we can
- 5:14structure some of these things and know
- 5:16all of the numbers of the business the
- 5:17more families you're ultimately going to
- 5:19help.
- 5:19>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:20>> Okay, I'll ask this question but I'm
- 5:22pretty sure I know the answer.
- 5:23>> Okay.
- 5:24>> Do you think the business model as it
- 5:25currently stands will scale?
- 5:29>> How it is today probably not to the
- 5:32scale I would want.
- 5:33>> Okay.
- 5:34>> But but it can scale to my goal.
- 5:37>> Okay, so you're open to changing some
- 5:38things.
- 5:38>> I'm open. Yes.
- 5:40>> cool. Let's do it. Let's rock.
- 5:41>> Wow, Gino seems to be extremely genuine.
- 5:44Her The of business is needed. [music]
- 5:46>> I wanted to make it clear that I'm not
- 5:49in it just for the money.
- 5:50>> Being a mom myself, I definitely related
- 5:52to that goal for her and how she's
- 5:53helping so many other families.
- 5:55>> I think we have a a similar goal of
- 5:57helping people and so I I really like
- 5:58that. I have no doubt that what she's
- 6:01doing is is going to scale incredibly
- 6:03well because of the market that she's
- 6:05in.
- 6:10>> So, [music]
- 6:11we're going to fix this in standard
- 6:13fashion and by standard fashion, I like
- 6:15doing things back to front.
- 6:17>> So, we'll fix offer
- 6:19and then we'll fix the conversion
- 6:21process and you're like, how's this back
- 6:22to front? Well, this is the thing you
- 6:24deliver, right?
- 6:25>> Mhm.
- 6:25>> Um and then we'll go to traffic. Okay?
- 6:29This is kind of our our three-step
- 6:31approach. Okay, so right now, you
- 6:32currently don't have like a formal pitch
- 6:35or webinar that you go through. You do
- 6:36like a three to four hour like Monday
- 6:38thing.
- 6:38>> Yeah, and it's only just because I have
- 6:40resistance to creating webinars.
- 6:42>> Yeah, why?
- 6:43>> Um
- 6:44>> [sighs and gasps]
- 6:45>> I just I don't want this to be
- 6:47sorry for saying this, but like bro
- 6:49marketing. Like I don't I don't want
- 6:50people to feel sold to.
- 6:52>> Mhm.
- 6:53>> Um so
- 6:53>> People only feel sold to if it's bad.
- 6:55>> Oh.
- 6:56>> A good selling
- 6:57>> Yeah.
- 6:58>> feels good.
- 6:58>> I tried working on a webinar for like a
- 7:00few weeks and I just like couldn't get
- 7:01>> about how many things you've bought over
- 7:03the last month.
- 7:04How many did you feel sold to?
- 7:06>> That's true.
- 7:06>> Probably not many.
- 7:07>> Yeah.
- 7:07>> And every one of those purchases,
- 7:09somebody for sure thought about how to
- 7:10get you to buy.
- 7:11>> Yeah.
- 7:11>> It's just they did a good job.
- 7:12>> Yeah.
- 7:13>> All right, so just from a belief
- 7:14breaking perspective, I agree with you,
- 7:15should not sell poorly.
- 7:16>> Yeah.
- 7:16>> So, you should sell well.
- 7:18>> Yeah.
- 7:18>> Yeah? Okay. So, fundamentally, what's
- 7:21happening is you're probably doing over
- 7:23three to four hours covering the points
- 7:25that could be covered in 45 minutes
- 7:27and you just don't want to be as
- 7:29structured about it. And if you're just
- 7:30structured about it, your value per
- 7:31second will go up for the for the the
- 7:33parent.
- 7:34>> Yeah.
- 7:34>> And if your stated goal is that you want
- 7:35to help more parents,
- 7:37having the expectation that they're
- 7:38going to wait two, three hours before
- 7:39hearing about how you can help them um
- 7:41is doing a disservice cuz you're losing
- 7:43half of them anyways. So, like I think
- 7:45that does them a disservice
- 7:46>> Yeah.
- 7:47>> because of whatever belief that you have
- 7:48about selling poorly.
- 7:49>> Yeah.
- 7:49>> Right?
- 7:50>> Yeah.
- 7:50>> So, I think from a this is me actually
- 7:52getting into conversion, but I'll put
- 7:54this here, which is
- 7:56structured
- 7:58webinar.
- 7:59And I think one of the things that holds
- 8:00a lot of people back with webinars is
- 8:02they think that like webinars have this
- 8:04very specific
- 8:05>> Yeah.
- 8:05>> language pattern. It's No, it's just
- 8:07it's really clear communication. It's
- 8:10Let me tell my quick story so that I
- 8:11have some reason why you should listen
- 8:13to me. There's going to be a big promise
- 8:14right before that. That's what you start
- 8:16with, which is like why the hell are you
- 8:17here? What it like why is it worth
- 8:18staying on?
- 8:19Right? Who am I? And then you say, this
- 8:22is the main thing that we're going to
- 8:23talk about, which is then the the call
- 8:25it your your core you showing what you
- 8:27shared here was your kind of core
- 8:30transformation that you went through.
- 8:31This is the old way, new way. It's a
- 8:32very classic pitch.
- 8:34Um I used to do this, this didn't work,
- 8:36and then I discovered a friend of mine,
- 8:38guru comes in, shares the secret
- 8:40knowledge, which was that holistic was
- 8:41the way. I implemented the stuff, and
- 8:43then I got this great outcome both
- 8:44internally and externally. It was
- 8:45amazing. But it didn't just work for me,
- 8:47it worked for X, Y, and Z as well,
- 8:49because then we're going to hit the
- 8:50different avatars that come up. And so,
- 8:51the big three biggest concerns that
- 8:53people have about this is problem number
- 8:55one, problem number two, problem number
- 8:56three.
- 8:57And then you just systematically break
- 8:59down each of the three problems. And
- 9:01with each one of them, you're going to
- 9:02follow a
- 9:03what they think.
- 9:05They think this, right?
- 9:07And then you're going to say
- 9:09why wrong?
- 9:10>> [snorts]
- 9:10>> Why that's not true? Like I used to
- 9:12believe this, it's not true.
- 9:14What's right?
- 9:15And then proof.
- 9:16And proof can be anything. Proof can be
- 9:17stats, it can be stories,
- 9:19um anything that just proves the point
- 9:20and ideally as many forms of proof as
- 9:22you can.
- 9:22>> Okay.
- 9:23>> Okay? So, if we can just take our 4-hour
- 9:26marathon and turn it into a 45-minute
- 9:29more structured presentation with slides
- 9:31that has visuals to support because some
- 9:33of them are listening within the
- 9:34background, all these other things. If
- 9:36you can have it more visually
- 9:37stimulating, you'll get a higher
- 9:38conversion rate. Cuz right now I think
- 9:40you actually have an avatar that's in a
- 9:41ton of pain and wants to buy cuz you're
- 9:43converting like 9% right now, which I
- 9:45think you could probably convert double
- 9:46that because you're also selling to a
- 9:48warm audience. And if you want to scale
- 9:50it, which you're saying you do,
- 9:52you have to sell to a cold audience. And
- 9:54so the ads that you're running right now
- 9:56are pretty much just targeting your
- 9:57existing people since most people are
- 9:58coming in already know who you are. So
- 10:00we can't sell to people who already know
- 10:01who you are. You have to sell like they
- 10:03don't know.
- 10:04And then you will sell people who don't
- 10:05know you. But if you sell only like
- 10:07you're selling to people who do know
- 10:08you, then no one who doesn't know you
- 10:10will buy.
- 10:11>> Got it.
- 10:11>> So it makes sense? You got to sell like
- 10:12it's cold to warm and it converts
- 10:14everything. If you sell like it's warm
- 10:15to everyone, you'll only convert warm.
- 10:17>> Got it. Got it.
- 10:17>> Okay. From an offer perspective,
- 10:20>> [sighs]
- 10:21>> do you know what your upsell uh
- 10:22percentage is from the back end of the
- 10:24front end?
- 10:24>> 10.
- 10:25>> So 10% of people are taking the second
- 10:26offer?
- 10:26>> Yeah.
- 10:27>> Mhm. Any reason you don't just do
- 10:296-month and have it recurring?
- 10:32>> That's a good I I've thought about that.
- 10:34>> and three. Like three months of
- 10:35intensive, three months of
- 10:37>> aftercare.
- 10:37>> aftercare whatever. And so we want to
- 10:39make the actual conversion to aftercare
- 10:41before aftercare comes up.
- 10:43So this is also a conversion thing, but
- 10:45sell
- 10:47upsell
- 10:49during intensive three months. All
- 10:51right. And ideally ideally you want to
- 10:53sell at the halfway point
- 10:55and then at like the two-thirds and then
- 10:57you do a last chance
- 11:00at the end. So right now you're only
- 11:01selling here.
- 11:02You want to sell here and here as well.
- 11:04The more times you ask the more likely
- 11:05they are to take the purchase offer. If
- 11:06you sell only at the end typically and
- 11:08you're not even selling, you're like
- 11:09kind of mentioning it.
- 11:11>> mentioned it.
- 11:11>> Right. If you actually if you were
- 11:13actually just only sell, you'd usually
- 11:14get about a third. So you're getting
- 11:15less than that, which is if you just
- 11:17wait till the end.
- 11:17>> Got it.
- 11:18>> If you wait if you go to the halfway
- 11:19point and the the two-thirds point,
- 11:21you'll be able to get like half or more.
- 11:23>> Got it. Got it. I actually sell most to
- 11:25the people in the aftercare. So when
- 11:27they're done closer to the 12 month.
- 11:29>> You want to sell them when they're hot.
- 11:30>> Yeah.
- 11:31>> Cuz everyone cools off over time. So you
- 11:32want to sell when the pain is pain is
- 11:33still elevated and they're and ideally
- 11:35from a buying perspective, you want to
- 11:37sell when they're mid-decision, not
- 11:38making a new decision.
- 11:39So, they're still in flight and you're
- 11:41like, "Hey, let's just keep the party
- 11:42going." Not, "Okay, we've finished that
- 11:44thing. Now, do you want to start the
- 11:45It's a It's a different It's a heavier
- 11:47sale." And about a third of people will
- 11:48take that offer, but you can get two
- 11:49thirds or more if you sell during the
- 11:51process.
- 11:52>> Got it.
- 11:52>> People are always scared of that cuz
- 11:53they're like, "What's the I'm not done
- 11:54yet." It's like, "It's okay. They've
- 11:55already gotten value."
- 11:56>> paid. I don't want to
- 11:57>> It's not like that. It doesn't work that
- 11:58way. If you go for run a marathon and
- 12:00you buy shoes and the guy's like, "Hey,
- 12:01do you want, you know, one of those tank
- 12:03tops to go with it and an iPhone band?"
- 12:05You're probably like, "Well, well, I
- 12:06just bought. I'm not buying anything."
- 12:07It's like, "No, you're still in the
- 12:08You're still in flight, right?" Now, if
- 12:10you finish the marathon race and they
- 12:11say, "Do you want an an iPhone thing for
- 12:13your wrist?" You're like, "No, I'm I'm
- 12:14actually pretty good."
- 12:15You know what I'm saying?
- 12:16>> Yeah. Okay.
- 12:17>> Okay.
- 12:17>> Um
- 12:19Okay. So, from the offer itself, I think
- 12:22I think we go $2,500.
- 12:25Uh basically bi-annually. Hopefully I'm
- 12:27saying this right. I think it's
- 12:28bi-annually. If it's not, I'm sure
- 12:30someone in the comments will correct me.
- 12:32Okay. So, during the launch, does
- 12:33everyone buy through checkout?
- 12:34>> They can buy through checkout, but a lot
- 12:36of them
- 12:36>> Do they?
- 12:37>> Uh about 30% do.
- 12:39>> so a third of them do. So, what I want
- 12:40to do, and this might sound like a
- 12:42little little wild,
- 12:43>> Yeah.
- 12:43>> is I want you to have $2,500 checkout
- 12:46price.
- 12:46>> Mhm.
- 12:47>> And want to have a $3,000
- 12:50uh one-on-one price.
- 12:54So, if I have to talk to you one-on-one,
- 12:55it's it's $500 extra. And it's just
- 12:57because if I were to charge hourly for
- 12:59me consulting with you, it would be $500
- 13:01an hour.
- 13:02>> Yeah.
- 13:02>> And so, I'll only charge you for 1 hour
- 13:05um to do that, but
- 13:07this is if you're like on the fence, let
- 13:09me just already cover all these issues.
- 13:10Now, I think part of the reason that
- 13:11you're getting all these questions is
- 13:12you don't have a structured webinar.
- 13:15So, you're not having a structured FAQ
- 13:16part, right? Which then this is going to
- 13:18go to conversion. What I want you to do
- 13:20is if you look at all You already have
- 13:22all the DMs categorized, right? Or you
- 13:23have like a big data set of all the all
- 13:26the DM conversations you've had, right?
- 13:27>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:28>> I want you to take call it every single
- 13:30bucket of of FAQ
- 13:32>> Mhm.
- 13:33>> and I want you to review it at the end
- 13:34of the webinar. And I want you to do it
- 13:36is just pull the question behind you or
- 13:38pull it up on the screen and then answer
- 13:40it.
- 13:40>> Answer it live.
- 13:41>> Yeah. Okay. Okay.
- 13:42>> Because because they have the same
- 13:43questions.
- 13:44>> Yeah.
- 13:44>> There's there's no new questions.
- 13:45There's no new questions.
- 13:46>> Yeah.
- 13:47>> So the only reason that like you have to
- 13:48do this one-on-one is and it's wasting a
- 13:50ton of your time is we're just not
- 13:51handling it. Just handle it up front.
- 13:54So when we have our think what they
- 13:55think we have our point, you know, intro
- 13:59our promise
- 14:02your intro which is your story
- 14:04origin
- 14:05and we have point one, two, and three
- 14:08of the webinar
- 14:08>> Mhm.
- 14:09>> then you have your offer
- 14:12and then you have your FAQ.
- 14:14>> And then how many questions?
- 14:15>> As many as there are.
- 14:16>> Okay.
- 14:17>> Just think about buckets. Like I mean
- 14:18there's there's probably six flavors or
- 14:20eight flavors or nine Whatever how many
- 14:21questions there are like you answer all
- 14:22of them.
- 14:23>> Yeah.
- 14:23>> As long as they're on, keep answering.
- 14:25>> Okay.
- 14:26>> Okay.
- 14:27>> But
- 14:27>> Cuz you're used to doing three or four
- 14:28hours. So like you just keep answering
- 14:29questions. I'm dead serious. Just keep
- 14:31answering questions. If they're still
- 14:32on, keep answering questions.
- 14:33>> Yeah.
- 14:33>> But answer the ones that you already
- 14:34know that represent the big like answer
- 14:36it in in order of greatest percentage of
- 14:38questions.
- 14:39>> Okay.
- 14:39>> So it's like the majority if I had only
- 14:41pick one question to answer it'd be this
- 14:42one and it's going to be 40% of people.
- 14:43And my number two most asked question is
- 14:45going to be this which is 25% of people.
- 14:46And then my number three and then it
- 14:47goes into the long tail.
- 14:48>> Got it. Got it.
- 14:49>> Okay?
- 14:49>> But the problem with like having the
- 14:51live parents come here versus my
- 14:54three-four-hour thing is because they
- 14:56take a long time and it could be like
- 14:58I'll invite up to eight parents.
- 14:59>> Uh-huh.
- 15:00>> But that might be my own problem. But
- 15:02cuz that could drag that that could drag
- 15:03this on like
- 15:04>> Oh that's cuz you're doing like Zoom
- 15:05calls. Not like and you're getting 10%
- 15:08of those people to buy?
- 15:09>> 10% that come live buy but every time
- 15:12>> That's insane.
- 15:13>> Even outside the replay for the
- 15:15three-four-hour thing, if someone
- 15:17watches it and they can truly afford it
- 15:18>> Yeah.
- 15:19>> they'll they'll reach out to my in my
- 15:20DMs and be like can I buy? Can I get it
- 15:22now?
- 15:22>> Yeah.
- 15:23>> So this is how I'm converting them.
- 15:24>> Yeah, we just need to basically your
- 15:26delivery needs to become your content
- 15:28and your pitches need to be your
- 15:29pitches. You're kind of like muddling
- 15:30the two.
- 15:31>> [laughter]
- 15:32>> Right?
- 15:32>> Yeah.
- 15:32>> Just sell when you need to sell, deliver
- 15:34when you need to deliver.
- 15:35And all that delivery stuff, that
- 15:37becomes content which I'll get to in a
- 15:38second when we get to traffic.
- 15:39>> Okay.
- 15:39>> Okay?
- 15:39>> Okay.
- 15:40>> How does this feel?
- 15:41>> Um this 3,000 one
- 15:42>> to have a reason for them to check out
- 15:43rather than having to DM you.
- 15:45>> Oh.
- 15:47>> If you want to have a call with me,
- 15:48it'll be $3,000. I just add 500 bucks
- 15:49cuz it it cost my time.
- 15:51>> So so okay, so when they're checking out
- 15:53they have these two options. They can
- 15:54either do
- 15:55>> you can just check out now and if you
- 15:56want to talk to me
- 15:57>> Mhm.
- 15:58>> then it's $3,000. It's an extra 500
- 15:59bucks and that's just because it's going
- 16:01to take my time.
- 16:01>> Oh, extra $500. Okay, got it.
- 16:03>> I know this because everyone's and I
- 16:04would just just state the fact and tell
- 16:05the truth. Like I can't physically talk
- 16:07to everyone and this is why you need
- 16:08more people on those calls. That's why
- 16:09it's like you're doing eight people at a
- 16:10time. It's just a waste. Like let's get
- 16:1250 people or 100 people on the call.
- 16:13>> Yeah.
- 16:14>> Have a structured webinar, answer all
- 16:15the questions, make this offer, more
- 16:17people will be willing to buy and then
- 16:18it's like if you were not sure
- 16:20>> If you're not sure and you want to talk
- 16:21to me then
- 16:21>> yeah, go ahead.
- 16:22>> Okay. But what if it's like too many
- 16:24people or is that offer there cuz less
- 16:26people people won't
- 16:27>> the the goal is that more people don't
- 16:29want to pay the extra $500. Now if
- 16:31everyone is wants to pay this, then
- 16:32great. We raise our prices.
- 16:34>> [laughter]
- 16:35>> Cuz I'm like I don't want to do
- 16:36one-on-one
- 16:36>> No, great. Yeah, well but like that
- 16:38they're doing it now for you're doing it
- 16:39for free right now.
- 16:40>> Yeah.
- 16:40>> Right, so like let's at least get paid
- 16:41for it if you're going to do it but the
- 16:42goal is to incentivize people to do
- 16:43this.
- 16:44>> Got it.
- 16:44>> And again, we're selling biannually so
- 16:45automatically this whole thing is going
- 16:47to switch because they're going to have
- 16:49to opt out rather than opting in.
- 16:51>> Got it.
- 16:52>> Track?
- 16:52>> Yes.
- 16:53>> Okay.
- 16:53>> Yes.
- 16:54>> So on the conversion process, I think
- 16:56one of the big one of the big ones is
- 16:57husband slash it's mostly female buyers,
- 17:00husband's not there.
- 17:01So I would just say give a three-day no
- 17:03sweat
- 17:04uh guarantee.
- 17:05>> Okay.
- 17:06>> Which you're legally have to anyways. Uh
- 17:08so people get back out of a purchase
- 17:10which is that if someone changes their
- 17:11mind, they change their mind. Right? And
- 17:12so just say, "Hey, no worries. Buy it
- 17:14and if for some reason in the next three
- 17:15days you talk to your husband and he's
- 17:16like, I don't want our kid to get
- 17:17better. I want him to stay the same and
- 17:19get worse and like this be a problem
- 17:21forever." If he says that, no worries,
- 17:23just let me know refund you.
- 17:24>> Okay.
- 17:25>> All right, so that way it's like get in
- 17:26and then that way um what we want to do
- 17:29to counteract like potential refunds,
- 17:31which is not going to be high anyways,
- 17:32is you want to do your onboarding ASAP.
- 17:35So, as soon as someone buys,
- 17:36>> Mhm.
- 17:37>> do the onboarding like the next day cuz
- 17:39then the likelihood that they get cold
- 17:40feet goes down.
- 17:41>> Got it.
- 17:41>> Just give them value as fast as you
- 17:42[clears throat] can.
- 17:43>> Okay, give value as fast as you can.
- 17:44>> Cuz if they if they buy and then they
- 17:45get on board, the likelihood they refund
- 17:46is really low.
- 17:46>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:47>> so it's like let's just pull it forward.
- 17:49>> Got it, got it.
- 17:50>> Like they have 3 days to do it, but you
- 17:51can deliver ASAP. Right?
- 17:53>> So, on my live events currently, I'll
- 17:55have something like if you buy while
- 17:57you're on this call, there's a bonus.
- 17:59So, should I take that out or
- 18:01>> No, I mean you can do have a price goes
- 18:03up and there's a bonus. So, this is
- 18:04cheaper and you get more.
- 18:06>> Okay.
- 18:06>> Cool.
- 18:07>> Yeah.
- 18:07>> Now,
- 18:08uh you have this $150 a month thing
- 18:11for like one-on-one with your
- 18:13>> It's not with me, yeah. It's my
- 18:14membership.
- 18:15>> team.
- 18:15>> Yeah, with my coaching team.
- 18:16>> So, if you're going to do that, you need
- 18:18to make it like five times as expensive
- 18:20or get rid of it.
- 18:21>> Oh.
- 18:21>> It's not priced right.
- 18:23>> Okay.
- 18:23>> Yeah, cuz you have one-to-many and then
- 18:25it's like for twice the price you get
- 18:26one-on-one, basically. Right? So, it
- 18:28should be like five times the price.
- 18:29>> Mhm.
- 18:30>> [clears throat]
- 18:30>> So, it's like think like 8,000, 8,000,
- 18:3210,000 is what it would be if I wanted
- 18:33to have. People have the money.
- 18:36I promise, they do.
- 18:37And that money will allow you to scale
- 18:39it.
- 18:40>> [laughter]
- 18:42>> It just it it like one on it just it it
- 18:44the math doesn't math.
- 18:45>> Yeah, but it's not with me.
- 18:46>> No, I know.
- 18:47>> It's with my team.
- 18:47>> I know, it's it's it's it's not about
- 18:49>> But it's like it's like support.
- 18:51>> It's buying behavior.
- 18:52It's buying behavior. So, either include
- 18:54the like include your base level
- 18:55support, which is what you have without
- 18:56one-on-one.
- 18:57>> Yeah.
- 18:57>> And then if they want one-on-one, they
- 18:59have to pay for the one-on-one price.
- 19:01Many people everybody needs one-on-one,
- 19:02everything.
- 19:03>> [gasps]
- 19:03>> But it just doesn't mean that everyone
- 19:05can afford it. It's not worth it's
- 19:07You have a responsibility to the
- 19:08business.
- 19:09And the business has a responsibility to
- 19:10customers. But your responsibility is to
- 19:12make sure the business survives and
- 19:13grows.
- 19:14>> Mhm.
- 19:14>> And in order for the business to survive
- 19:15and grow, it has to take care of the
- 19:16customer. So it's a it's a it's a
- 19:18circle.
- 19:19Does that make sense?
- 19:19>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:20>> Okay. On the delivery part, so this is
- 19:22on delivery a little bit. Um
- 19:25you have this Telegram, right? That you
- 19:26use cohorts in Telegram.
- 19:28>> Mhm.
- 19:28>> You can Are you familiar with AI?
- 19:30>> Mhm.
- 19:30>> Okay. So what I would do is I'd vibe
- 19:32code um an agent that
- 19:36searches the whole Telegram
- 19:37>> Mhm.
- 19:38>> uh and looks for past responses that are
- 19:40similar to the question
- 19:41and then suggests it to you or your team
- 19:44and then you can check or exit and then
- 19:47it sends it.
- 19:48And that way you're going to
- 19:49dramatically increase the leverage that
- 19:50you have for each of your delivery
- 19:51people.
- 19:53>> So have the agent send it
- 19:55automatically?
- 19:56>> No, so basically you'll vibe code a
- 19:57dashboard.
- 19:58>> Yeah.
- 19:58>> They don't even have to be in Telegram.
- 19:59>> Yeah.
- 19:59>> Like your team.
- 20:00>> Yeah.
- 20:00>> They have a dashboard. And then people
- 20:02ask the questions so it's convenient for
- 20:03them. But you make it convenient for
- 20:04your team to have them all in one place
- 20:06where it already has suggested answers
- 20:07and they just reply or edit.
- 20:09Single way faster.
- 20:11>> Got it.
- 20:12Okay. I can do that. Yeah.
- 20:14>> How frequently are you running webinars?
- 20:16>> Once every every time there's a launch.
- 20:18So so that is
- 20:20>> So this is what I would consider doing.
- 20:21>> Yeah.
- 20:22>> Once a week hold a webinar
- 20:23>> Uh-huh.
- 20:24>> for all the people who DM you and say,
- 20:25"Hey, I'm doing a live thing with other
- 20:27parents that way you won't feel alone.
- 20:28Come attend." And then you can just do
- 20:30the structured webinar once a week and
- 20:32then mop up everyone that's been in your
- 20:34DMs
- 20:34>> Mhm.
- 20:35>> and just send reminders to them to show
- 20:36up. That way you don't have to go into
- 20:37all these long conversations cuz you're
- 20:38having the same conversation 100 times
- 20:40in a row.
- 20:40>> Yeah.
- 20:41>> Okay.
- 20:41>> Yeah.
- 20:42>> And then you still do your launches
- 20:43that's going to be the paid.
- 20:44But your your weekly webinar can be
- 20:45organic.
- 20:46>> Okay.
- 20:47>> That That feel okay?
- 20:48>> only only for the people that are DMing
- 20:49me or should I
- 20:50>> No, I would just no. Should I message
- 20:51the waitlist too?
- 20:53>> Um I would just do For me I'd rather
- 20:55just have all the people who are DMing
- 20:56you. I'd use my waitlist for the
- 20:57launches.
- 20:58>> Okay.
- 20:58>> Cuz it'll be like more razzle-dazzle.
- 21:00But you're just We're trying to account
- 21:01for like what happens in between. So big
- 21:03picture, we're changing from our 3-hour
- 21:053 to 4-hour marathon to a structured
- 21:06webinar.
- 21:07>> Okay. going to follow this structure.
- 21:09We can bring up the people live to do
- 21:10the proof for each of the points if you
- 21:11want to and that's only for your
- 21:13launches.
- 21:14We'll still use the same webinar. You
- 21:15don't have to have the live people. The
- 21:16upsell timing we're going to shift.
- 21:18Right? Because we won't even need to cuz
- 21:20we're going to we're going to be
- 21:21bi-annually here anyways. So
- 21:24this might not even be an issue.
- 21:25>> you don't think it matters whether it's
- 21:266 month or 12 month.
- 21:28>> Conversions say that I know.
- 21:29>> Okay.
- 21:30>> say.
- 21:30>> Cuz I thought it was like oh you get a
- 21:31year might be
- 21:33>> Let me say it differently.
- 21:34Do you want to have your tooth pulled
- 21:35out in 5 minutes or 5 hours?
- 21:38If you can fix your fix my kid in half
- 21:39the time, fix my kid in half the time.
- 21:41>> Yeah.
- 21:41>> The bi-annual is still happening on a 6
- 21:43month basis anyway. So that's automatic.
- 21:45I still want to have a conversion like
- 21:47push and reminder cuz I don't want to
- 21:49bug people without them knowing. That's
- 21:50not the goal.
- 21:51>> Yeah.
- 21:51>> But we want to have like it's like we
- 21:53want to get the legal right to do it
- 21:54here, but we want to have the
- 21:55psychological right from here.
- 21:56>> Got it.
- 21:57>> track?
- 21:57>> Got it.
- 21:57>> Okay.
- 21:58Uh we're doing this pricing so that we
- 22:00get more people to not DM you and buy
- 22:02immediately. So it'll be a cheaper price
- 22:03and a bonus if they buy on and if they
- 22:06buy from you one-on-one and you're like
- 22:07you don't get the bonus and it costs
- 22:09more. Now if you're on the call you can
- 22:10be like hey I'm not supposed to do this
- 22:11but I'll give you the the bonus if they
- 22:12if they ask for it.
- 22:13>> Mhm. Got it.
- 22:13>> We're going to vibe code delivery so you
- 22:14get way more leverage from your team.
- 22:17That's all good?
- 22:17>> Mhm.
- 22:17>> Okay.
- 22:19And we're going to include this little
- 22:20no sweat on the pitch and we're going to
- 22:21add our FAQs in. That's all conversion
- 22:23stuff. Okay.
- 22:25Once we have all this, now we have an
- 22:26offer that's already renewing. We're
- 22:28renewing at the right point. We have a
- 22:29structured conversion process delivery.
- 22:30You got more leverage. We have our FAQs
- 22:32covered and we have guarantees so we can
- 22:34deal with the spouse issue. Now we just
- 22:36need a more traffic. Okay?
- 22:37So this is what I want to do.
- 22:39So how many
- 22:42So you have like 200 plus testimonials
- 22:44that you've already captured which is
- 22:45great.
- 22:46>> There's like 200 I haven't even posted.
- 22:47>> Yeah. Yeah. So you have post those. Um
- 22:51how much Q&A is there in your delivery?
- 22:54>> A lot.
- 22:55>> Okay.
- 22:55>> And they're the same questions every
- 22:57cohort.
- 22:57>> That's great. So um you're familiar with
- 23:00Dave Ramsey?
- 23:00>> Yes.
- 23:01>> Yes. Yes.
- 23:02>> He people on and they say I should
- 23:04probably spend less than I'm than I'm
- 23:06spending and I should save more money
- 23:07and he says that's a great idea.
- 23:09If you did it for 45 years.
- 23:10And so even though it's the same
- 23:12question for you
- 23:13the audience will not perceive it as the
- 23:14same question.
- 23:15And so I want you to take those Q&As and
- 23:19you can probably have an AI editor just
- 23:23cut it down. Worst case you can have an
- 23:24offshore editor do it cuz it's a very
- 23:26repeatable cutting process.
- 23:28And I'd love you how many how many How
- 23:30many Q&As would you say you do per week?
- 23:31When I say I don't mean sessions, I mean
- 23:33actual questions that you're answering.
- 23:35>> Actual questions like on the live calls?
- 23:37>> Yeah.
- 23:37>> Probably between 30 to 50.
- 23:39>> Okay.
- 23:40>> Yeah.
- 23:40>> So
- 23:41to me
- 23:42that means you get 30 to 50 posts a
- 23:44week.
- 23:48Just by capturing and editing them. So
- 23:50that all of a sudden
- 23:50>> So So it doesn't matter like what we do
- 23:52in the program is like being shown out.
- 23:54Doesn't matter.
- 23:55>> No, cuz it's going to be so it's going
- 23:56to be bite-sized. You also have
- 23:58questions that are coming in from
- 23:59Telegram, right? And all those
- 24:00questions.
- 24:01>> Yes.
- 24:01>> So the ones that get like uploaded or
- 24:03have a lot of like engagement around it,
- 24:05I would do green screen answers.
- 24:07>> What does that mean?
- 24:09>> So you pull the question behind you
- 24:11>> Okay.
- 24:11>> and you just talk about the question.
- 24:13>> Okay.
- 24:13>> You've probably seen reaction videos.
- 24:15>> Okay.
- 24:15>> You just react to the question.
- 24:16>> Okay.
- 24:16>> This is a question I you know like So
- 24:18and you can have an AI voice read it and
- 24:19then you respond or you can read it and
- 24:21respond. Either way it's fine.
- 24:22>> Okay.
- 24:23>> That's right.
- 24:23>> Yeah.
- 24:24>> Just don't start with a lot of people
- 24:25have been asking me this question.
- 24:26That's a terrible hook.
- 24:27>> Okay, don't start [laughter] with that.
- 24:28Okay, got it. Got it. Got it. Got it.
- 24:29Got it.
- 24:29>> Okay. Um when you go on these other
- 24:31platforms, if Instagram is where you're
- 24:33used to converting everyone, push people
- 24:35from those platforms to Instagram.
- 24:37So if you do YouTube shorts, your
- 24:39description should say DM me on
- 24:40Instagram.
- 24:41>> Okay.
- 24:42>> If people are on TikTok, have your bio
- 24:44say DM me on Instagram. That way we can
- 24:46just funnel everything to one conversion
- 24:47point. And then that pushes people to
- 24:49webinar.
- 24:49>> Got it.
- 24:50>> Okay.
- 24:51Now we should probably post the 200
- 24:53testimonials.
- 24:57>> But I really want to edit all of them.
- 24:58>> Well, you for all of this you need to
- 25:01get editing.
- 25:01>> Yeah.
- 25:02>> You have the profit.
- 25:03>> Yeah.
- 25:03>> You have the profit to do it and that's
- 25:04not going to cost a lot of money. Now,
- 25:06on
- 25:09the ad side,
- 25:10these content
- 25:14become ads.
- 25:16Because if we're if you're if you're
- 25:18capturing
- 25:1930 to 40 posts plus your green screens,
- 25:23we're talking three, four, five posts a
- 25:25day. That's per platform. So all of a
- 25:27sudden you're going to like 20, 30 posts
- 25:28a day per platform. You're going to be
- 25:29all over the place. Then take the
- 25:30winners from there and run them as ads
- 25:33to your thing.
- 25:34>> To the webinar.
- 25:35>> To your launch.
- 25:36>> Yeah.
- 25:36>> To the wait list or the webinar?
- 25:38Depending
- 25:38>> Well, you have you're used to do the
- 25:39launches I think we do with the ads cuz
- 25:40you're used to doing that and that's
- 25:42fine.
- 25:42Um
- 25:43this I just want to do fourth organic
- 25:45for now.
- 25:45>> Okay.
- 25:46>> Just so it Now, if all of a sudden we we
- 25:47find out like maybe this just turns into
- 25:49a better cycle where you just run ads
- 25:50every week to a webinar that you do once
- 25:52a week, I'm fine with it.
- 25:54>> Okay.
- 25:55>> But this is your ad strategy.
- 25:57>> Okay. So then this goes into the wait
- 25:59list.
- 25:59>> Mhm.
- 26:00>> Okay.
- 26:01Okay.
- 26:01>> Uh what we found work is having like a
- 26:033-second delay
- 26:06on the banner. So if you have like a CTA
- 26:08um that's like, "Hey, register for
- 26:11my next whatever, my launch." Wouldn't
- 26:13say that, but my my thing. Um
- 26:16just delay the the button by like 3
- 26:18seconds. Like the banner on the on the
- 26:20video.
- 26:21>> At the end.
- 26:22>> So if it the hook starts 3 seconds, then
- 26:24put your CTA in and then it can stay
- 26:26there.
- 26:26>> Okay.
- 26:27>> We just found that it gets it's higher
- 26:28quality traffic.
- 26:29>> Okay.
- 26:29>> Just a little tactic.
- 26:30>> Okay.
- 26:30>> How's this feel?
- 26:31>> It feels good. But it's funny, it's not
- 26:33what I expected. I was expecting like
- 26:35higher setters.
- 26:37>> No.
- 26:38I don't even want you in the DMs.
- 26:40Ideally.
- 26:41>> I think you can get one one person to
- 26:42really just point people over to Yeah.
- 26:45>> You know, like, "Tina's doing this
- 26:46thing." Da da da. Okay.
- 26:47>> Yeah, you can also um hook up uh
- 26:50AI now to just respond. So that's
- 26:52already been linked up on Instagram. So
- 26:53it can just respond right away.
- 26:54>> that's one of the things when people DM
- 26:56me, they're like, holy [ __ ] you're a
- 26:57real person addressing actual prob- you
- 27:00know, like I don't want that. Them to
- 27:02feel I'm managing people's feelings
- 27:04again.
- 27:05>> Yeah.
- 27:06I don't respond to everybody who DMs me.
- 27:08>> That's true.
- 27:09>> I don't think. And if I did, I wouldn't
- 27:11be able to help a lot of business
- 27:12owners.
- 27:13I'd be DMing all day.
- 27:15So.
- 27:16>> That's true.
- 27:16>> It's your call.
- 27:17>> Yeah. I could have a human do it.
- 27:19>> Yeah. But they probably would like I'd
- 27:20rather them just like I'd rather them
- 27:23push to you and get a fractionalized
- 27:26version of you than a whole percentage
- 27:28of somebody who's not.
- 27:30>> Got it.
- 27:31>> Cool?
- 27:31>> Yeah.
- 27:32>> I mean, this feels pretty
- 27:32straightforward. We got a recurring
- 27:34here. We need to structure the webinar.
- 27:36We add these elements to the conversion
- 27:38process. We expand delivery here, and
- 27:40then we blow the [ __ ] door off the
- 27:42the front end. Now, one thing I do want
- 27:43to address is that I think you said
- 27:46you're self-sabotaging or something like
- 27:47that. You making more money
- 27:50means that you are helping more
- 27:51families.
- 27:52And you can help all the families who
- 27:54can't afford it with this.
- 27:59I have helped a zillion more people
- 28:01business owners who have not paid me
- 28:03than the ones who have.
- 28:03>> Yeah.
- 28:04>> And that's fine. I want that. Like I can
- 28:06never I could never possibly
- 28:07>> Yeah.
- 28:08>> Right?
- 28:09So I think if you can just you have to
- 28:10just separate out the if I charge it's
- 28:13bad because I know that you also had
- 28:14some resistance to raising the price.
- 28:17>> Yeah. I'm I mean, like one of my biggest
- 28:20fears and I feel silly even saying it is
- 28:22like I don't want people to think I'm in
- 28:24it for the money.
- 28:26And that's like
- 28:27>> is in it to make money. The business is.
- 28:29You own the business.
- 28:31You can be in it for whatever reason you
- 28:33want. The business needs to make a
- 28:34profit in order to grow.
- 28:37And if you want to help more people, it
- 28:38will like you can help more people and
- 28:40make more money.
- 28:41>> Mhm.
- 28:41>> Rather than or.
- 28:43Because um uh my friend Taki says this
- 28:45great thing. He says, either you can be
- 28:46a starving artist or you can be a
- 28:47soulless corporation and I think that
- 28:49the beauty's in the middle.
- 28:50>> Yeah.
- 28:51>> And so if we make all this stuff, we're
- 28:54helping lots of people for free, but for
- 28:55the percentage of people that want more
- 28:57help
- 28:58there's a there's a for purchase option.
- 29:02>> Okay.
- 29:02>> Joe?
- 29:03>> Yeah. Okay.
- 29:04>> All right?
- 29:04>> Yeah.
- 29:06Easy.
- 29:07>> Easy.
- 29:07>> Easy.
- 29:07>> Easy. Okay.
- 29:09>> All right.
- 29:10Doable.
- 29:11>> All right, doable. We did it. [music]
- 29:13>> Hey Alex, I've got some updates. I've
- 29:15been working hard implementing on all of
- 29:17the directives and Alex tasked me with
- 29:20creating a structured webinar and that
- 29:23was the first thing I did. If it wasn't
- 29:24for this show, if it wasn't for what
- 29:26we're doing here, I don't think I would
- 29:28have finished the webinar. It was so
- 29:30painful and I have to say even though it
- 29:32was really painful, it is finally
- 29:34working. Like surprise surprise.
- 29:37>> [laughter]
- 29:37>> The times I'm spending in DMs have
- 29:39significantly decreased. I was spending
- 29:41about 30 hours a week just handholding
- 29:44every person that comes through. It was
- 29:46a lot of work. I've since created a new
- 29:48structure where I'm in there for maybe
- 29:50three to five hours a week instead, so
- 29:53significantly reduced by 90%. Uh I've
- 29:56created a structure where my team can
- 29:58also help me as well [music] to ask some
- 30:00of the initial questions and we just
- 30:02direct everyone to the webinar.
- 30:04>> [music]
- 30:08>> All right, let's see where you're at on
- 30:09the scaling roadmap.
- 30:10All right, let's see where you at. So
- 30:12you're at How many employees you have?
- 30:15>> Uh not including the coaches, seven.
- 30:18Including the coaches, uh 12.
- 30:21>> Okay, so you're probably between these
- 30:22two steps. So team five to nine and 10
- 30:24to 19 in terms of prioritizing and
- 30:27productizing.
- 30:27>> Okay.
- 30:28>> All right. So we'll probably have a
- 30:29little bit of a mix here.
- 30:31So if we're looking at product, you said
- 30:32yes to anyone who would pay.
- 30:34>> Yes.
- 30:35>> Right.
- 30:35>> [laughter]
- 30:36>> And you're getting feedback from lots of
- 30:37different people.
- 30:37>> Yes.
- 30:38>> And so we need to be a little bit more
- 30:39specific about our product and you
- 30:41already did cut one of them, right? You
- 30:43had the picky eaters in the in the in
- 30:44the the high mama.
- 30:45>> Yeah.
- 30:46>> We already We already made that
- 30:47selection, right? So, you're you're
- 30:49partially graduated from here. From an
- 30:51unqualified lease perspective, you're
- 30:52like, "Well, I want to help everyone."
- 30:53That's what we make the content for.
- 30:54>> And I got rid of all my lower payment
- 30:56plans. I had a 12-month and an 8-month.
- 30:58>> for us. I love this for us. All right.
- 30:59And then same thing, we got rid of the
- 31:00one-on-one.
- 31:01>> Yeah.
- 31:01>> Or we're pricing it way higher. Those
- 31:03are options.
- 31:03>> Okay.
- 31:04>> Okay? Now, from a sales perspective,
- 31:06this You have decent tracking.
- 31:09But I think we might be looking over
- 31:10here cuz now you're at this level. We
- 31:12need to create sales aids and materials.
- 31:15Webinar.
- 31:15>> Yes. [laughter]
- 31:16>> Right? Install weekly game tape between
- 31:18CS, sales, and marketing. Basically
- 31:19making sure that Well, your process This
- 31:21happens more when you have a sales team.
- 31:22So, you don't have to worry about that
- 31:23as much.
- 31:23>> Okay.
- 31:24>> And the refund rate stuff, we're going
- 31:25to make sure that we're going to onboard
- 31:26a little sooner. That way, we don't have
- 31:28to worry about that. All right. So, that
- 31:29feels like this is about the the the
- 31:30right thing. Spend more on niche-down
- 31:32messaging. That's all these little
- 31:34videos that we're talking about, which
- 31:35then turns into ads.
- 31:36>> Mhm.
- 31:37>> So, that's what we're doing on the on
- 31:38the marketing side.
- 31:39>> Okay.
- 31:39>> And [clears throat] we don't need to
- 31:40worry about this one for now. And then
- 31:43uh build proper CS playbook to onboard
- 31:44and train team answers.
- 31:47It's going to review all the past ones,
- 31:48make suggestions, and they can just
- 31:50approve.
- 31:50>> Got it.
- 31:52>> Does these feel like your problems?
- 31:53>> Yeah. Yes.
- 31:54>> Yes.
- 31:55>> [laughter]
- 31:55>> If you're If you're watching from home,
- 31:57you can fill out the form and it'll tell
- 31:59you where you're at and gives tons of
- 32:00videos for every one of these things in
- 32:01a lot more detail. And it's free, so go
- 32:03grab it.
- 32:03>> I think Tina could scale the most
- 32:05[music] out of everybody. Tina's
- 32:06personality and the nature of her
- 32:08business cuz
- 32:09>> [music]
- 32:09>> she literally solves problems.
- 32:11>> If she continues to be led by her heart
- 32:13and combines that with data, then
- 32:15there'll be nothing [music] stopping her
- 32:16whatsoever.
- 32:16>> I'm like the queen of execution. Like
- 32:18you watch me, the next 90 days like
- 32:21>> Pressure's on.
- 32:22>> Oh my gosh.
- 32:26>> [music]
- 32:29>> All right.
- 32:32I hate this part. Um
- 32:36So, I have to decide whether you scale
- 32:37fail because that's what makes this
- 32:38interesting. Um
- 32:41before I tell you the answer,
- 32:42>> Yeah.
- 32:43>> um I want to say that
- 32:45I think
- 32:46this is a very right down the middle
- 32:49will work.
- 32:51The only fear I have is
- 32:53the emotional side of it for you
- 32:55>> Yeah.
- 32:56>> of whether or not
- 32:57you will actually be able to pull
- 32:59yourself out because it is like you said
- 33:01at the very beginning, it's a decision.
- 33:03You said you have a decision to scale
- 33:05>> Mhm.
- 33:05>> which means you have to also have a
- 33:06decision, which is that I'm not going to
- 33:08answer every individual DM because I'm
- 33:10going to take a local cost to have a
- 33:12global [music] benefit.
- 33:14And so, it's the same reason that, you
- 33:16know, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, or Bezos
- 33:18can't respond every customer service
- 33:19request on on Amazon or Tesla or Apple.
- 33:22It's because they wanted to help more
- 33:23people.
- 33:24Um that is probably [music] my biggest
- 33:26fear around the scaling it. The
- 33:27mechanics of this are really
- 33:28straightforward and I think that because
- 33:30of your affiliate background, you can do
- 33:31it.
- 33:32And so, I'm very torn on this one
- 33:34because
- 33:35I just don't know enough about the soft
- 33:37side of Tina of whether or not
- 33:39>> Yeah.
- 33:39>> you can draw the line.
- 33:40Um
- 33:49How big do you want this to be?
- 33:51>> Mhm.
- 33:52Honestly?
- 33:53>> Give me a year. 12 months.
- 33:55>> In this 12 months?
- 33:56>> Mhm.
- 33:57>> 500 new clients. [music]
- 34:03And I have plans to do certifications
- 34:06[music]
- 34:06and more people. No, no, no.
- 34:09Really?
- 34:14>> [sighs]
- 34:14>> God, I hate this. Um
- 34:16>> I can execute. [music]
- 34:17>> No.
- 34:19Will you actually just do this and not
- 34:21do anything else?
- 34:22>> Yes.
- 34:24>> All right.
- 34:25Then you have scaled and you will be
- 34:26scaling. All right, you'll move on to
- 34:28the next round. Rock and roll.
- 34:29>> Okay.
- 34:30>> Okay.
- 34:31>> [laughter]
- 34:31>> Oh my god,
- 34:33it's a
- 34:35>> Okay.
- 34:35>> No, I can do it. I can do it. I Yeah.
- 34:38>> Yeah.
- 34:38>> You got it.
- 34:39>> Thank you.
- 34:39>> Little Ceasar.
- 34:40>> All right.
- 34:41Thank you.
- 34:42>> You got to do this though.
- 34:43>> I will.
- 34:43>> Okay.
- 34:44>> I will. [laughter] So, I'm going to kill
- 34:46it. I'm going to crush it. And even I
- 34:48was kind of offended when he was like, I
- 34:49don't know if like you can separate the
- 34:51emotions from it. And I was like, dude,
- 34:54>> [laughter]
- 34:55>> you have no idea. I can kill it.
- 34:58It's done. It's in the bag.
- 35:05>> It was a really tough one.
- 35:07Um,
- 35:07I think the big thing was that she had
- 35:10done affiliate marketing in the past.
- 35:12And so, I didn't think
- 35:13she was going to get tripped up on the
- 35:15technical stuff, which sometimes when
- 35:17you're a smaller business, that can trip
- 35:18you up. And so, I think she has skills
- 35:21that will allow her to actually execute
- 35:22this.
- 35:23The big fear that I have is what I said
- 35:24originally, which is like, I'm not sure
- 35:26if she's going to emotionally be able to
- 35:27do it. I was really torn on this one.
- 35:30But, I'm I'm basically just going to
- 35:31give her the benefit of the doubt of
- 35:32like, will she execute this? And I'm
- 35:34hoping that her global
- 35:36need or desire to help people outweighs
- 35:38her local need to
- 35:41satisfy every person who messages her.
- 35:43>> I was like really surprised at like how
- 35:45kind he was. Not to say that he's not
- 35:46kind, but like he just his demeanor,
- 35:50it was really shocking. I thought I
- 35:51would have been a lot more nervous, but
- 35:53he was just so kind. And I just like it
- 35:55really allowed me to relax as soon as I
- 35:57just started talking.
- 35:59>> All right. And so, that was this episode
- 36:00of Scale or Fail. Stay tuned for the
- 36:01next one as they all compete for
- 36:03$100,000 and a year of working on
- 36:06scaling.
