- 0:00If you want to find the secrets of the
- 0:01universe, think in terms of energy,
- 0:03frequency, and vibration. That's a quote
- 0:04attributed to Nikola Tesla. We never
- 0:06really understood what he meant way back
- 0:08then. We're only starting to now.
- 0:10Because if you go back thousands of
- 0:11years to the masters in the Himalayas,
- 0:13the chi healers in ancient China,
- 0:15[music] the priests in Egypt, the Vedic
- 0:17mystics in India, the Gregorian chanters
- 0:19in stone cathedrals all across Europe,
- 0:21all of them built their entire healing
- 0:23systems around one idea that modern
- 0:25medicine still hasn't caught up to. That
- 0:27the body isn't just chemistry. It's
- 0:29frequency. You've probably heard of
- 0:31binaural beats. [music] You've seen 432
- 0:33hertz playlists. Maybe you've even tried
- 0:35solfeggio tones. And if you're being
- 0:37honest, you don't really know why any of
- 0:39it works. Most people don't. And most
- 0:41doctors don't either. I'm Brian from 9D
- 0:43Breathwork, and in the next 12 minutes,
- 0:45you're going to understand what every
- 0:47ancient civilization figured out
- 0:48independently, what's actually happening
- 0:50inside of your nervous system when
- 0:52frequency is applied, and why the
- 0:54deepest healing work being done today is
- 0:56built on a principle that most modern
- 0:58medicine still treats as fringe. Before
- 1:01we go any further, you need to
- 1:02understand something about what you
- 1:04actually are. Your body isn't just
- 1:05tissue and chemistry. It's a frequency
- 1:07machine. Your heart has a rhythm, 60 to
- 1:10100 beats a minute. That's a frequency.
- 1:12Your brain has waves. There are five
- 1:14main ones. We're going to go through
- 1:15each of them in a minute. Every cell in
- 1:16your body has a resonant frequency. Your
- 1:18nervous system runs on electrical
- 1:19signals. You are at every level running
- 1:22on frequency, which means something that
- 1:24operates on frequency outside of your
- 1:26body can change how your body operates
- 1:28on the inside. That's the whole game.
- 1:30Now, think about how widespread this
- 1:32knowledge was, and how unrelated the
- 1:34cultures that found it actually were.
- 1:36The Egyptian [music] priests had bee
- 1:37frequency chambers. They built rooms
- 1:39next to beehives. They laid people down
- 1:42in the dark, and they let the collective
- 1:44hum of the colony wash over their bodies
- 1:46for hours. The bee frequency, roughly
- 1:48250 to 300 hertz, turns out to do
- 1:51measurable things to [music] the human
- 1:53nervous system. They didn't know that.
- 1:54They knew do worked. Across the
- 1:56Himalayas, Tibetan monks spend decades
- 1:58training their voices to produce
- 1:59something called overtones. Multiple
- 2:01frequencies at once from a single
- 2:03throat, a skill Western singers still
- 2:05can't fully replicate. Why train for
- 2:07decades to do something that's
- 2:08decorative? Because they could feel what
- 2:10it did [music] to them. In China,
- 2:12healers worked with what they called chi
- 2:14for over a thousand years, the body's
- 2:16own bioelectric field, a concept Western
- 2:18medicine dismissed as superstition until
- 2:21biofield research started measuring it
- 2:23in the 1990s. The Vedic tradition in
- 2:25India had mantras held at very specific
- 2:28pitches, specific rhythms, and specific
- 2:31repetition counts. It's not art, it's
- 2:33protocol. Gregorian chant echoed through
- 2:35cathedral specifically built to amplify
- 2:38the low frequency sound. None of these
- 2:40cultures [music] talked to each other.
- 2:41There was no internet, and yet they all
- 2:43arrived at the exact same place.
- 2:45Specific frequencies [music] applied in
- 2:47specific ways change the human body. To
- 2:50understand why, we need to talk about
- 2:52how your brain actually operates. Now,
- 2:54your brain doesn't have one speed, it
- 2:56has five. [music] These are brain waves,
- 2:58they're measured in hertz, the exact
- 3:00same unit we use to measure sound. Right
- 3:02now, if you're alert and focused, your
- 3:04brain is in beta, it's [music] 13 to 30
- 3:07hertz, the everyday awake state. But,
- 3:09it's also where you tend to overthink
- 3:10and spiral. [music] It's the home of the
- 3:12monkey mind. Slow down a little into
- 3:14relaxed awareness, and you're in alpha,
- 3:168 to 13 hertz, the state right before
- 3:19you fall asleep. Light meditation,
- 3:21creative flow live here. Go deeper into
- 3:23dream-like images where the subconscious
- 3:25mind becomes more accessible, and you
- 3:26found yourself in theta, 4 to 8 [music]
- 3:29hertz. This is where deep meditation
- 3:30lives, also hypnotic trance, the state
- 3:33where old patterns can be rewritten.
- 3:35Deeper still into slow wave sleep, and
- 3:37you're in delta, [music] half a hertz to
- 3:39four, pure physical restoration. And at
- 3:41the top, there's gamma, 30 to 100 hertz,
- 3:44peak focus, flashes of insight, the
- 3:47state that monks with thousands of hours
- 3:49of practice can [music] hold at will.
- 3:50Each state has a very specific frequency
- 3:53range, and each one does something very
- 3:55specific inside the body. The question
- 3:57is, can you put yourself into a specific
- 3:59[music] brain wave state on purpose? The
- 4:02ancients clearly could, and the science
- 4:04now confirms that you absolutely can,
- 4:06too. There are four ways that external
- 4:08frequency reaches your nervous system.
- 4:10The first is the vagus nerve. It runs
- 4:12through your throat, down your vocal
- 4:13cords, through your larynx. When you
- 4:15produce a low sustained tone, a hum, a
- 4:18chant, a long vowel, you're physically
- 4:21vibrating the tissue that the nerve runs
- 4:23through, firing the main nerve of your
- 4:25rest and repair system, but from the
- 4:28inside. The second is the breath. You
- 4:30can't hold a long low tone without a
- 4:32long slow exhale, and a long slow exhale
- 4:35calms the heart and raises [music] heart
- 4:37rate variability. Every chant has slow
- 4:39breathing hidden inside of it. The monks
- 4:41knew this without even knowing it. The
- 4:43third is chemistry. In 2002, scientists
- 4:46at the Karolinska Institute ran a study
- 4:48on humming. They found that just 30
- 4:50seconds of nasal humming increased
- 4:52[music] the nitric oxide in the nasal
- 4:53passages 15-fold. Nitric oxide opens up
- 4:57blood vessels, it improves oxygen
- 4:59delivery, and it carries antimicrobial
- 5:01effects. Body produces it on demand when
- 5:04you hum. We discovered this 20 years
- 5:06ago. Monks have been humming for
- 5:07thousands. Now, the fourth is the
- 5:09deepest one. Your brain synchronizes
- 5:11with rhythmic stimuli. [music] This is a
- 5:13documented phenomenon called the
- 5:14frequency following response. When you
- 5:17expose the brain to a steady frequency,
- 5:19[music] it begins to oscillate at that
- 5:21exact frequency. Steady beat at 6 Hz,
- 5:24and the brain drops down into theta.
- 5:26This is measurable on an EEG. The brain
- 5:28literally follows the frequency that
- 5:30it's hearing, which means external
- 5:32[music] frequency isn't just relaxing
- 5:34you, it's reprogramming the gear that
- 5:36your brain is running in. This is where
- 5:38most people get confused. Binaural
- 5:40beats, 432 Hz playlist, solfeggio
- 5:43frequencies. Let [music] me break down
- 5:45what's real and what's just marketing.
- 5:47Binaural beats are real, discovered in
- 5:491839 by a German physicist named
- 5:52Heinrich Wilhelm [music] Dove. Here's
- 5:54how they work. You play one frequency
- 5:55into one ear, a slightly different
- 5:57frequency into the other ear, and your
- 5:59brain can't process two at once, so it
- 6:02generates a third frequency internally
- 6:04equal to the difference. So, for
- 6:06example, play 200 Hz in one ear and 210
- 6:09Hz in the other ear, and your brain
- 6:11creates a 10 Hz beat that doesn't exist
- 6:14anywhere [music] except inside of your
- 6:16own head. That 10 Hz then entrains your
- 6:18brain waves. Want alpha? A binaural beat
- 6:20in the 8 to 13 range. Want theta? 4 to
- 6:238. Studies show binaural beats can shift
- 6:25EEG patterns, reduce anxiety, and
- 6:28improve focus. The research isn't
- 6:30perfect, but the mechanism is very real.
- 6:32Solfeggio frequencies are a little bit
- 6:33more complicated. It's a set of nine
- 6:35specific tones attributed to an ancient
- 6:37Gregorian scale. Each one of them has
- 6:39claims attached. 528 Hz supposedly
- 6:42repairs DNA. 417 supposedly clears out
- 6:45negative energy. Now, here's where I
- 6:46have to be honest. Some of those
- 6:48specific claims, DNA repair especially,
- 6:50outrun the actual evidence. There's no
- 6:52rigorous proof that 528 Hz specifically
- 6:56does what's being marketed. But, here's
- 6:57the deeper point. The underlying
- 6:59principle that specific frequencies
- 7:01produce specific physiological effects
- 7:03is absolutely real. You just can't trust
- 7:05every meme attached to a specific
- 7:07number. What matters is the mechanism,
- 7:10and the mechanism is rock solid. And
- 7:12here's the part that should change how
- 7:13you think about this entirely. Your
- 7:15nervous system doesn't only respond to
- 7:17frequencies that you can hear. The human
- 7:19ear picks up sounds between 20 Hz and
- 7:2220,000. That's a very tiny little slice
- 7:25of the actual spectrum. Below 20 Hz is
- 7:27what's called infrasound. Can't hear it,
- 7:29but it affects you. Infrasound from
- 7:31earthquakes, heavy machinery, even wind
- 7:34through tunnels can shift your mood, it
- 7:35can trigger anxiety, or it can produce a
- 7:37sense of unease that you just can't
- 7:39explain. And then there's something even
- 7:40more interesting. The Earth itself
- 7:42generates a frequency called the
- 7:43Schumann resonance. It's around 7.83
- 7:46hertz. That number should ring a bell
- 7:48because it sits right on the edge
- 7:49between alpha and theta. The frequency
- 7:52the planet emits naturally [music]
- 7:53is the frequency that your brain reaches
- 7:55when it's in deep relaxation. Astronauts
- 7:57in space lose contact with this
- 7:59frequency and they show measurable signs
- 8:01of dysregulation without it. You can't
- 8:03hear that frequency, but your nervous
- 8:05system is tuned to it. You might wonder
- 8:07why this isn't taught in medical school.
- 8:09Here's why. [music] Modern medicine was
- 8:10built on chemistry. The bioelectric
- 8:12dimension of the body got dismissed as
- 8:14too soft, too vague, hard to monetize.
- 8:16[music]
- 8:17Drug companies can patent a molecule.
- 8:19You can't patent the frequency of a
- 8:20beehive. So, research went one direction
- 8:23and the rest of it got left behind. Only
- 8:25now with vagal nerve research, biofield
- 8:27medicine, and EEG-based interventions
- 8:30gaining traction is the field finally
- 8:32starting to catch up to what every
- 8:33ancient tradition knew thousands of
- 8:35years ago. Now, here's where everything
- 8:37we just covered starts to come together.
- 8:39If sound reaches the body through the
- 8:41vagus nerve, and the breath, and the
- 8:42blood, [music] and the brain waves all
- 8:44at the same time, and if specific
- 8:46frequencies target specific brain
- 8:48states, then the obvious move is to open
- 8:51every door all at the same time. That's
- 8:53called frequency stacking. You take a
- 8:55breath pattern that signals safety, you
- 8:57add sustained vocal toning that vibrates
- 8:59the vagus nerve, and then you layer in
- 9:01binaural beats that [music] drop the
- 9:02brain down into alpha or theta. You
- 9:05include specific frequency ranges that
- 9:07the body responds to. Then, you add
- 9:09hypnotic suggestion that lands directly
- 9:11on a brain that's now operating in just
- 9:14the right state to be able to receive
- 9:16it. Then you sequence all of it so that
- 9:18every layer reinforces the last. This is
- 9:20what 9D does. Nine layers of frequency,
- 9:22breath, [music] sound, and suggestion
- 9:25all stacked into one singular
- 9:26experience. The ancient traditions found
- 9:28these doors one at a time by feel over
- 9:31thousands of years. The monks found them
- 9:33in the dark. Well, we finally turned the
- 9:35lights on. So, if you don't understand
- 9:37frequency, you don't understand healing.
- 9:39Because healing [music] isn't just about
- 9:41treating symptoms with chemistry. Real
- 9:43healing is the body returning [music] to
- 9:45a regulated state. And the body returns
- 9:47through the inputs the nervous system
- 9:49actually responds to. More than a
- 9:51million people have now explored this
- 9:53work. Thousands [music] of facilitators
- 9:54in more than 50 countries are using
- 9:56breath and frequency together to guide
- 9:59the nervous system back to safety. If
- 10:01you want to feel what frequency stacking
- 10:03actually does inside the body, there's a
- 10:05guided breath work session linked in the
- 10:06description below. Headphones on, lie
- 10:09down, push play, let it run. And notice
- 10:11what your body does before your mind has
- 10:13anything to say about it. And if this
- 10:15changed how you think about healing,
- 10:17subscribe. There's more of this coming.
