  1. 0:00Now, let's come to the idea of
  2. 0:02Anglo-Celtic, I think.
  3. 0:04>> And who's not respecting that?
  4. 0:05>> We believe
  5. 0:07We believe in the separation of the
  6. 0:08secular and the sacred. Security forces
  7. 0:12in this country are now having to
  8. 0:13monitor a very significant number of
  9. 0:17people who are anything but committed to
  10. 0:21our way of life and the respect and
  11. 0:23dignity of all other Australians. I want
  12. 0:25to say
  13. 0:26>> Like Anglo-Celtic stuff, it creates this
  14. 0:28idea that there is some form of white
  15. 0:29culture that exists somewhere that then
  16. 0:32can then be recreated here in Australia.
  17. 0:35But there is no white culture. There is
  18. 0:36Now, I can say truthfully to the
  19. 0:38gentleman here, I have no intention of
  20. 0:40assimilating.
  21. 0:42Yet I would
  22. 0:43>> I have no interest in assimilating, she
  23. 0:45said.
  24. 0:46The sheer audacity.
  25. 0:48The correct response to that should have
  26. 0:50been, "In that case, we have no interest
  27. 0:53in allowing you to live in our country.
  28. 0:56If African culture is so great, then
  29. 0:58surely Africa should be good enough for
  30. 1:01you to live there."
  31. 1:02These people are always telling us we
  32. 1:05have no culture and their culture is so
  33. 1:07fantastic. If that's the case, then
  34. 1:10simply stay in your own countries and
  35. 1:13stop moving to Western nations. We are
  36. 1:16literally importing people who are
  37. 1:18effectively taking over the political
  38. 1:20discourse.
  39. 1:22They come to Western nations and start
  40. 1:24telling us what culture we do or don't
  41. 1:27have and what defines us or not.
  42. 1:30We all know the liberal left who have
  43. 1:32seized power in most Western nations
  44. 1:35want open borders and believe the world
  45. 1:37has a right to move to their countries.
  46. 1:40But now we are importing people who hate
  47. 1:43us. They bring their tribal and cultural
  48. 1:46loyalties with them. Yet she dismisses
  49. 1:48that and as usual brings up white
  50. 1:51nationalism.
  51. 1:52That's an internal problem. Importing
  52. 1:55more people will just create more
  53. 1:57sectarian divisions and potentially lead
  54. 2:00to civil unrest.
  55. 2:02Let's debunk a couple of her outrageous
  56. 2:05claims. Number one,
  57. 2:07when Australians moan about immigrants,
  58. 2:09they aren't referring to people from the
  59. 2:11UK.
  60. 2:13If people from the UK were taking up
  61. 2:15loads of jobs and housing at the expense
  62. 2:18of Australians, I'm sure it would be a
  63. 2:20problem. But, she's right. Australians
  64. 2:23moving to the UK and vice versa is not
  65. 2:26the same as importing Africans and
  66. 2:29Iraqis.
  67. 2:30Australians are our cousins and I will
  68. 2:32not apologize for that. We are
  69. 2:34culturally more or less the same.
  70. 2:37Muslims in Britain talk about their
  71. 2:39brothers and sisters in Palestine. They
  72. 2:42see them as their people because they
  73. 2:44are Muslims.
  74. 2:45And all that unites them is Islam. They
  75. 2:48don't even speak the same language. So,
  76. 2:50I'm not going to apologize for feeling
  77. 2:52much closer ties to people from
  78. 2:56Australia, Canada, and America than I do
  79. 2:59someone from Sudan or Palestine.
  80. 3:03I've probably got infinitely more in
  81. 3:05common with them than I do a Bangladeshi
  82. 3:08Muslim born 10 miles down the road from
  83. 3:11me.
  84. 3:12Number two,
  85. 3:13you white Europeans are colonizers, so
  86. 3:16how dare you tell immigrants to go home?
  87. 3:20That is the most egregious argument. We
  88. 3:22hear something similar in the UK.
  89. 3:25You colonized half the world, so now you
  90. 3:27want to moan about immigrants?
  91. 3:30They are effectively saying, "We are now
  92. 3:32coming to take over and replace you
  93. 3:34because of the past." It's a vindictive
  94. 3:36act of revenge.
  95. 3:38It's incredibly dangerous talk that
  96. 3:40could lead to ferocious resistance that
  97. 3:43turns to outright war.
  98. 3:46No one gets to move to my country and
  99. 3:48openly threaten my very existence.
  100. 3:51It seems like an open declaration of war
  101. 3:54on the British people to me.
  102. 3:56And I've no doubt many Australians feel
  103. 3:58the same.
  104. 3:59But from the Australian perspective, no
  105. 4:02one is denying the native Aborigines
  106. 4:04were subjected to murderous oppression.
  107. 4:07But that was the norm back then.
  108. 4:10White Europeans built the Australian
  109. 4:12civilization and made it what it is
  110. 4:14today. If they had never arrived in
  111. 4:17Australia, someone else would have.
  112. 4:20Probably the Japanese. And believe me,
  113. 4:22that would have resulted in unimaginable
  114. 4:25horrors for the natives if they invaded.
  115. 4:29Most of Asia sided with the allies in
  116. 4:31World War II because they were so afraid
  117. 4:34of Japan invading because they literally
  118. 4:37were the most sadistic kind of genocidal
  119. 4:41murderers imaginable.
  120. 4:43But the past is the past. It's for white
  121. 4:46Europeans and Aborigines to figure out
  122. 4:48Australia's future together.
  123. 4:50It's certainly not for women from Africa
  124. 4:53who have contributed nothing to the
  125. 4:56history of Australia other than to
  126. 4:58recently arrive and prosper from the
  127. 5:00nation white Europeans built to start
  128. 5:03lecturing people on Australian culture.
  129. 5:06Anyway, take a listen to this.
  130. 5:08>> John Anderson, let me come to you.
  131. 5:12You've spoken a lot about trying to
  132. 5:14protect that Anglo-Celtic culture. Just
  133. 5:17do it explain to us what you are talking
  134. 5:19about there.
  135. 5:20>> Look, let's I'm sorry, I'm going back to
  136. 5:22a helicopter view. This is going to be
  137. 5:24useful going out to Australians from
  138. 5:26Ultimo. Let's accept a few realities.
  139. 5:28We're becoming poorer, people feel a lot
  140. 5:30of financial stress. Rightly or wrongly,
  141. 5:33I think wrongly overall, you know, to to
  142. 5:35an extent, we think immigration is one
  143. 5:38of the major problems. We're not against
  144. 5:40immigration as a people. I don't believe
  145. 5:42we are. I'm certainly not. A balanced,
  146. 5:45reasonable immigration thing is good
  147. 5:47economically,
  148. 5:48it's good socially whilst we agree that
  149. 5:53the if you like the law of the land
  150. 5:55really does apply.
  151. 5:57But we need to realize how badly broken
  152. 6:00it is. We're here because One Nation has
  153. 6:02captured the initiative because vast
  154. 6:05numbers of Australians think the system
  155. 6:08is now not working for them, that we
  156. 6:11have lost too much as Australians.
  157. 6:13>> Just trying to get to that
  158. 6:14>> And we're having this Can I just finish?
  159. 6:16>> please?
  160. 6:16>> can just come back to that point about
  161. 6:17>> yeah. The the Anglo-Celtic culture that
  162. 6:19you talk about. Yeah. Just explain what
  163. 6:22you mean by that.
  164. 6:23>> Well, I would have thought it meant such
  165. 6:24things. We don't talk about this half
  166. 6:26the trouble. Aussie values, what are
  167. 6:28Aussie values?
  168. 6:29>> Tell us.
  169. 6:29>> Well, plainly in common with much of the
  170. 6:31West, they're the things that gave us
  171. 6:33our dignity as individuals. We recognize
  172. 6:35dignity, the rule of law, all equal
  173. 6:39before the law. The common law applies
  174. 6:41to the Prime Minister just as it applies
  175. 6:43to somebody else.
  176. 6:44>> not respecting that?
  177. 6:44>> We believe
  178. 6:46we believe in the separation of the
  179. 6:48secular and the sacred. Now, we can see
  180. 6:52uh well, look, let's be right. Let's
  181. 6:54just put it this way. We know that
  182. 6:56security forces in this country are now
  183. 6:58having to monitor a very significant
  184. 7:01number of people who are anything but
  185. 7:05committed to our way of life and the
  186. 7:08respect and dignity of all other
  187. 7:09Australians.
  188. 7:10>> I want to say it again, if we're going
  189. 7:12to be useful, we need to recognize the
  190. 7:14Australian people are really concerned
  191. 7:17about this.
  192. 7:18>> We we know that
  193. 7:18>> election is making a real mistake
  194. 7:21in not drawing alongside and saying
  195. 7:23we've got to take you with you on this
  196. 7:25journey. If we don't have cohesion, if
  197. 7:28we don't have agreement on who comes
  198. 7:30here and what sort of country we're
  199. 7:32going to be, one of the first things
  200. 7:33that'll happen is that you'll break
  201. 7:34trust. And as George would know, there's
  202. 7:37no such thing as a prosperous country
  203. 7:39where trust breaks down.
  204. 7:40>> Di Natale, when you hear that talk about
  205. 7:43the Anglo-Celtic culture, the
  206. 7:44Anglo-Saxon culture,
  207. 7:47>> Um
  208. 7:47>> and respecting laws and values, how does
  209. 7:51that land with you?
  210. 7:53>> Um
  211. 7:59I understand some of it, but I find some
  212. 8:01of it to be um
  213. 8:06hard to sort of place, right? So,
  214. 8:09>> Sorry, sir, I forgot your name. When he
  215. 8:11was talking about immigration, I could
  216. 8:13understand what [clears throat] he was
  217. 8:14trying to point out.
  218. 8:16>> Yes. You know, um and that was useful.
  219. 8:19And the reason I think that um
  220. 8:21I I am on this panel, part of it is to
  221. 8:23try and put face to the numbers that
  222. 8:25people are talking about. The experts
  223. 8:26can give you the numbers, but these are
  224. 8:28individual stories, you know? And each
  225. 8:30community is going to look different.
  226. 8:32Now, let's come to the idea of
  227. 8:34Anglo-Celtic, I think. Um and it goes
  228. 8:38back to this notion that the Australia
  229. 8:40is sort of monocultural. Australia has
  230. 8:43never been monocultural.
  231. 8:45It's factually Australia has never been
  232. 8:46monocultural. Before sort of the
  233. 8:49European settlement, there were
  234. 8:51indigenous people here who spoke
  235. 8:52multiple languages and considered
  236. 8:55themselves to be people of different
  237. 8:57nations.
  238. 8:58Now, you have then the sort of the
  239. 9:00immigration after post-World War II.
  240. 9:02Those were also
  241. 9:03a diverse number of people. So, I think
  242. 9:06that if we're going to be And I'm not
  243. 9:07trying to accuse anyone here of
  244. 9:09necessarily being racist. I just think
  245. 9:11that if we start talking about terms
  246. 9:12like Anglo-Celtic and stuff, it creates
  247. 9:14this idea that there is some form of
  248. 9:16white culture that exists somewhere that
  249. 9:19then can then be recreated here in
  250. 9:20Australia. But there is no white
  251. 9:22culture. There is, you know, Italian
  252. 9:24culture, there is French culture, there
  253. 9:26is
  254. 9:27I don't know.
  255. 9:28Argentinian culture, but there is no
  256. 9:30this notion of um
  257. 9:33sort of a white culture that is being
  258. 9:35threatened. Now, I can say truthfully to
  259. 9:37the gentlemen here, I have no intention
  260. 9:40of assimilating.
  261. 9:41Yet, I went to law school, and I studied
  262. 9:43the law, and I respect Australia's um as
  263. 9:47a country, and I indeed I respect the
  264. 9:48law of this country, and will always do.
  265. 9:50But, there's a difference between coming
  266. 9:52to this country and wearing something
  267. 9:54like this, which my mom is going to be
  268. 9:55proud of because it's it's you know,
  269. 9:57it's an African attire, but there's a
  270. 9:59difference between that and a mentality
  271. 10:01that has the ability to appreciate what
  272. 10:04Australia is. And I think the dominant
  273. 10:06amount of migrants do that.
  274. 10:08>> Right. Do that.
  275. 10:09>> You would concede that it is legitimate
  276. 10:11for many people worried about social
  277. 10:12cohesion to make the observation that it
  278. 10:14appears there are significant numbers of
  279. 10:16people in various groupings in Australia
  280. 10:19who do not respect
  281. 10:22Which which groupings are coming here
  282. 10:23with the express intent of trying to set
  283. 10:26up an enclave of their own culture? I
  284. 10:29think people would be well within their
  285. 10:30right to be concerned about what we are
  286. 10:33seeing.
  287. 10:34>> Your point about there is a certain
  288. 10:35group of people, and I'm not sure who
  289. 10:37who they are, that are being um I
  290. 10:40suppose monitored by our national
  291. 10:42security experts here. Yes, that is
  292. 10:44true. There is also 40% of um concerns
  293. 10:49about white nationalism as well. So, the
  294. 10:51idea that there's a particular group of
  295. 10:53people that are especially criminal,
  296. 10:55it's not true. We are having issues with
  297. 10:57far-right groups as we would have with a
  298. 10:59number of other people from any
  299. 11:01background. But, we don't tend to speak
  300. 11:03about that. 40% of some of the concerns
  301. 11:06come from far-right groups. The man who
  302. 11:07shot 51 people in New Zealand was an
  303. 11:10Australian. I think trying to pin
  304. 11:13criminality on communities is precisely
  305. 11:16the kind of divisive thing that divides
  306. 11:18people in this country. Fundamental
