  1. 0:00let's talk about your daily routine can
  2. 0:02you tell me about your daily routine
  3. 0:03when I first get up I don't like doing
  4. 0:07anything um high maintenance or too
  5. 0:11quick I like to take my time um once I
  6. 0:15wake up I like to just be on my phone
  7. 0:18and then gradually get on from there get
  8. 0:20up and do my skin care I start getting
  9. 0:23dressed and then go downstairs I make
  10. 0:26some coffee or tea even matcha I love
  11. 0:30much so yeah that's kind of my morning
  12. 0:33routine has your routine changed since
  13. 0:36you were a child so growing up I didn't
  14. 0:39really have a routine because when
  15. 0:41you're a child you just do whatever but
  16. 0:45growing up I came to realize that it's
  17. 0:48important to have like a set um routine
  18. 0:52on what to do and how to take care of
  19. 0:55yourself how to maintain a better
  20. 0:58routine throughout the day so yeah my
  21. 1:01routine has drastically changed
  22. 1:03throughout um my life is there anything
  23. 1:07you would like to add to your daily
  24. 1:09routine I would like to incorporate uh
  25. 1:12more of like meditation to just be able
  26. 1:16to ground myself um when needed I
  27. 1:19haven't been able to do that as of
  28. 1:21recently but I would like to incorporate
  29. 1:24that in my routine because I think it's
  30. 1:26important to just be able to um um have
  31. 1:31that minute to yourself and just feel
  32. 1:35grounded let's talk about flowers have
  33. 1:38you ever received flowers as a gift yes
  34. 1:41I have um actually recently I did
  35. 1:45receive flowers and I can't talk enough
  36. 1:49about flowers I love everything about
  37. 1:52them like the variations that you find
  38. 1:54the different types and colors as simple
  39. 1:58as like roses to let's say tulips I love
  40. 2:02everything about them on what special
  41. 2:04occasions do people give Flowers in Your
  42. 2:07Country uh from where I'm from they
  43. 2:09usually use flowers for say birthdays or
  44. 2:15uh
  45. 2:15weddings and flowers are just uh common
  46. 2:19to receive especially here with my
  47. 2:22friends we usually like gift each other
  48. 2:24flowers for each other's birthdays or
  49. 2:28even just like a normal like a thank you
  50. 2:31like just to show appreciation to a
  51. 2:33person what kind of flowers would you
  52. 2:35like to receive as a present so I've
  53. 2:38never received uh sunflowers and when I
  54. 2:41was a kid I just looking at sunflowers I
  55. 2:45was always amazed by how they look and I
  56. 2:48would want to like touch one because
  57. 2:51I've never like seen how it looks like
  58. 2:54in real life I've only seen it through
  59. 2:56pictures so I would like to receive um
  60. 2:58sunflowers now let's talk about food do
  61. 3:01you enjoy cooking I don't personally
  62. 3:04cook for myself just because I wasn't
  63. 3:08really
  64. 3:09into um cooking I do however like baking
  65. 3:13I like to bake desserts I like to make
  66. 3:16um let's say cake uh chocolate cake or
  67. 3:20cookies whenever I feel bored at home
  68. 3:23and there's literally nothing to do I
  69. 3:25find myself grabbing the ingredients in
  70. 3:28the cupboards or just baking it's really
  71. 3:32fun and just the hard work that I put
  72. 3:35into it versus the aftermath I feel like
  73. 3:38it's worth it do you think that you have
  74. 3:40a healthy diet personally I don't think
  75. 3:43that I have a healthy diet I usually eat
  76. 3:47whatever is available I try to be
  77. 3:51mindful of what I put into my body
  78. 3:53especially because how I see people um
  79. 3:58develop some issues use with uh the food
  80. 4:02that they take and especially because as
  81. 4:05I'm growing older my metabolism is going
  82. 4:08to be different so I try to be aware but
  83. 4:12usually my diet isn't that great how
  84. 4:16often do you order food online I usually
  85. 4:18order I would say about two to three
  86. 4:21times a week um other than that I would
  87. 4:24just eat at home I would actually very
  88. 4:27much prefer um homemade food rather than
  89. 4:30ordering online when there's nothing to
  90. 4:32eat at home I tend to gravitate towards
  91. 4:36uh ordering through the app um fast food
  92. 4:40now let's talk about movies what are the
  93. 4:43advantages of seeing a movie in the
  94. 4:45cinema I would say the advantages of
  95. 4:48seeing a movie in a cinema would be that
  96. 4:51you get to watch it as soon as it comes
  97. 4:53out you get to watch it in a bigger
  98. 4:57screen instead of just staying at home
  99. 4:59and watching it through your laptop or a
  100. 5:01TV I don't think there's a lot of
  101. 5:04advantages in my opinion but I really
  102. 5:07like the The Experience uh let's say if
  103. 5:11you're watching it in terms of like um
  104. 5:14uh IM through IMAX that experience is
  105. 5:17really nice um because of how the sound
  106. 5:21system is it's it's a really nice
  107. 5:24experience uh do you like watching
  108. 5:26movies alone or with other people so
  109. 5:29when it's like a like an indie film I
  110. 5:32like to watch it alone because I feel
  111. 5:34like that's not everyone's cup of tea
  112. 5:36but with psychological thrillers or
  113. 5:39horror movies especially I love watching
  114. 5:42it with other people because I cannot
  115. 5:44stand watching it alone I get really
  116. 5:47scared when it's horror films so having
  117. 5:49a company with you it's it's much better
  118. 5:53so last year my mom who usually prepares
  119. 5:58the meals at home she uh was away for
  120. 6:01vacation so I was in charge of uh
  121. 6:04cooking the food at home I learned to
  122. 6:07prepare this Meal which was pasta
  123. 6:09arabiata it's very simple to some people
  124. 6:13but from um perspective where I've never
  125. 6:18really cooked anything at home it was
  126. 6:20like a big step for me I learned this uh
  127. 6:23recipe online like I just skimmed
  128. 6:26through random website and um I started
  129. 6:29following the recipe and I actually had
  130. 6:32a bit of help from my cousin um I the
  131. 6:37reason why I chose this um food to
  132. 6:41prepare um was because my dad really
  133. 6:45enjoys pasta Arata he wouldn't eat any
  134. 6:48other type of pasta except that for some
  135. 6:51reason it doesn't have any like uh meat
  136. 6:55it's just literally pasta and sauce and
  137. 7:00it was pretty quick like when I started
  138. 7:03uh preparing it uh it didn't take me
  139. 7:06that long which I liked because I hate
  140. 7:09spending hours in the kitchen just
  141. 7:11waiting to cook I mean to eat something
  142. 7:15I think that takes the fun out of
  143. 7:16cooking cuz I just want it quick the
  144. 7:19part that I liked about uh the meal that
  145. 7:21I prepared was uh that it was quick but
  146. 7:25also at the same time it was uh it was
  147. 7:28very delicious like I added um organic
  148. 7:32uh tomato I used not like the canned um
  149. 7:37uh sauce I made it from scratch so
  150. 7:39that's what I enjoyed about it so we've
  151. 7:41been talking about food and we're going
  152. 7:43to continue to talk about cooking and
  153. 7:45working in the food industry do you
  154. 7:47think it's important for children to
  155. 7:49learn how to
  156. 7:50cook to thank you for watching this
  157. 7:53video I want to give you a free course
  158. 7:55that has helped thousands of students
  159. 7:57improve their ey out speaking score what
  160. 7:59it's going to do is take you through
  161. 8:01every single part of the test and give
  162. 8:03you strategies for part one part two and
  163. 8:06part three and also allow you to
  164. 8:08practice at home for free and get
  165. 8:10feedback to sign up for that for free
  166. 8:13all you have to do is just click the
  167. 8:14link in the description thanks very much
  168. 8:16and let's get back to the video so I
  169. 8:18love the idea where kids grow up in a
  170. 8:21household where they learn how to cook
  171. 8:23personally I've never I I was never
  172. 8:26taught how to cook properly just to
  173. 8:28prepare like random dishes small dishes
  174. 8:32like oh putting the the cheese on the
  175. 8:37plate because in um Arab Cuisines you
  176. 8:41will find like these tiny dishes spread
  177. 8:44out like uh called mza so it's just like
  178. 8:48tiny appetizers and that's how I learned
  179. 8:50to prepare uh The Breakfast Table but um
  180. 8:55I would personally teach my kids how to
  181. 8:57cook if I learned to it's myself because
  182. 9:01I feel like learning that from a young
  183. 9:04age could benefit uh further uh future
  184. 9:08do you think that high school children
  185. 9:10should learn to cook at home or at
  186. 9:13school I never heard anyone cooking at
  187. 9:16school honestly but um I think at home
  188. 9:20would be much preferable because you
  189. 9:24have everything there the ingredients is
  190. 9:26already in the kitchen and especially
  191. 9:29because let's say a parent could help
  192. 9:33guide you on what to use what not to use
  193. 9:37what to stay away from and what goes
  194. 9:38with what so you can test out what is
  195. 9:43suitable for your liking now let's talk
  196. 9:46about working as a chef do you think it
  197. 9:48would be enjoyable to work as a
  198. 9:50professional chef from my knowledge I've
  199. 9:53only seen professional chefs um let's
  200. 9:56say in cooking shows or in um Hell's
  201. 10:00Kitchen so I think it's very um a very
  202. 10:06tiring job especially because if you
  203. 10:09have like let's say 20 people coming in
  204. 10:12at the same time ordering different
  205. 10:13meals it's going to be a very tough job
  206. 10:17or um tough on you to be a professional
  207. 10:21chef trying to keep up with different um
  208. 10:24meals what if you mess up like you never
  209. 10:26know um so yeah it's I don't I think
  210. 10:29it's an easy job how much influence do
  211. 10:32celebrity chefs have on what Ordinary
  212. 10:34People cook to thank you for making it

  231. 11:19this free video so the influence uh that
  232. 11:23celebrities celebrity chefs have on
  233. 11:26ordinary people I believe is uh great
  234. 11:30because of how how they add their
  235. 11:33personal touch into a dish Gordon Ramsey
  236. 11:36I know that he is known for his filet
  237. 11:40minion I think um and the way he
  238. 11:44prepares it he wants it to be perfect
  239. 11:47and I think that like not everyone can
  240. 11:50achieve that at home but learning
  241. 11:52through what he does can um can make
  242. 11:56them very intrigued to make this dish
  243. 12:00that's the end of the speaking test well
  244. 12:02done thank you so much
