3. 0:09we have the immense pleasure of sharing
4. 0:11with you today all about the curriculum
5. 0:14in our P3 classes
6. 0:16our program caters to children aged
7. 0:19three to four years old come and join us
8. 0:21as we take you on a little adventure
9. 0:24exploring our P3 classes and the Early
10. 0:27Learning Village

12. 0:29in P3 we follow the IB primary years
13. 0:33program in fact it is the first year
14. 0:36children become exposed to this
15. 0:38world-class curriculum framework
16. 0:43pyp engages children in deep and
17. 0:46meaningful inquiries into Concepts
18. 0:48rather than into themes
19. 0:51what we love about pyp is that it's
20. 0:55transdisciplinary which means that we
21. 0:58can weave in many different branches of
22. 1:00knowledge such as science art math
23. 1:04literacy technology and many others in a
24. 1:08way that it's natural meaningful and
25. 1:10relevant to Children's experiences
26. 1:14while the curriculum is academically
27. 1:17oriented Learning Happens through play
28. 1:20and inquiry

30. 1:22our learning environment creates
31. 1:25opportunities for children to discover
32. 1:28investigate wonder and build connections
33. 1:32between ideas
34. 1:35children's interests are the building
35. 1:37blocks of our inquiries
36. 1:40early literacy skills and math skills
37. 1:42are infused into the program through
38. 1:44authentic experiences such as cooking or
39. 1:48sensory play
40. 1:49through Games songs and Rhymes we focus
41. 1:52on phonological awareness and oral
42. 1:55language development as well as
43. 1:57mathematical Concepts such as shapes
44. 2:00patterns and numbers
45. 2:02our specialist classes offer children
46. 2:05more opportunities to connect their
47. 2:07ideas through music movement and
48. 2:11Mandarin

51. 2:22and begin to Crave opportunities for
52. 2:24Independence
53. 2:26our program Fosters agency and
54. 2:29confidence in own abilities through
55. 2:31daily routines encouragement of

57. 2:37and protective Behavior programs safe
58. 2:40series

60. 2:46by our philosophy of love care and
61. 2:48respect and our hopes to raise Global
62. 2:51Citizens who are lifelong Learners that
63. 2:54thrive in our rapidly evolving world
