  1. 0:00after 200 days of uploading YouTube
  2. 0:02shorts I'm now earning 400 a week at 400
  3. 0:05000 subscribers it was only 90 days ago
  4. 0:08when I was shocked to be even earning 10
  5. 0:09a day from YouTube shorts and if you
  6. 0:12tell me back then how much I'm earning
  7. 0:13now I wouldn't have believed you here is
  8. 0:15everything you need to know so you can
  9. 0:17achieve my results principle one don't
  10. 0:19stop uploading shorts when your channel
  11. 0:21goes viral this might seem obvious to
  12. 0:23you but personally I was so focused on
  13. 0:25earning money that when I reached this
  14. 0:27goal I felt like I had accomplished
  15. 0:29YouTube shorts as a result I have been
  16. 0:32uploading inconsistently and this has
  17. 0:33negatively affected my channel because
  18. 0:35even if your shorts do go viral they
  19. 0:37will stop getting views at some point so
  20. 0:39I recommend that you set a goal of
  21. 0:41trying to achieve 1 million subscribers
  22. 0:43within a year of starting this might
  23. 0:45seem like an ambitious goal and I don't
  24. 0:47blame you when starting my channel I
  25. 0:49thought I would only be able to reach
  26. 0:50100 000 subscribers within one year but
  27. 0:53it only took me 60 days to reach this
  28. 0:55because one thing about growth on
  29. 0:56YouTube shorts is that it's exponential
  30. 0:58principle 2 don't and go to my channel
  31. 1:00and copy the exact Style on my shorts
  32. 1:03because there are so many viewers doing
  33. 1:04this you need to understand why videos
  34. 1:06explaining how I've made money with
  35. 1:08football shorts have been viewed over 1
  36. 1:10million times and while it has worked
  37. 1:12for some channels there's hundreds of
  38. 1:14channels that hasn't worked for because
  39. 1:15it's now a very saturated topic so I do
  40. 1:18recommend you select a niche that
  41. 1:20interests you and one that is in high
  42. 1:21demand this is what I did in the
  43. 1:23football Niche I saw shorts that had
  44. 1:25very high view counts with no form of
  45. 1:27editing and over time I developed my own
  46. 1:30style that was focused on engaging
  47. 1:32viewers and I wouldn't worry about
  48. 1:33selecting a niche with the highest RPM
  49. 1:36for my channel the amount of money I
  50. 1:37make for 1 000 views is equal to two
  51. 1:40cents for high paying niches such as
  52. 1:42education and finance you can achieve
  53. 1:44RPMs as high as 8 cents although you
  54. 1:47will find it much harder to get these
  55. 1:48High View Counts from these niches so I
  56. 1:51wouldn't worry about a high RPM if
  57. 1:52you're not interested in the niche
  58. 1:54principle 3 when you upload your shorts
  59. 1:56don't focus on the details because none
  60. 1:58of these affect your performance looking
  61. 2:00at my highest viewed short with 60
  62. 2:02million views I had a simple title and
  63. 2:04description I keep it simple for all of
  64. 2:07my shorts because you don't want to
  65. 2:08distract viewers from your content and
  66. 2:10you want as many audiences to understand
  67. 2:11it I don't adjust any of the other
  68. 2:13settings because I've tried changing
  69. 2:15them all before and they don't affect
  70. 2:17performance although if you're creating
  71. 2:19shorts for the first time just make sure
  72. 2:21your category is set correctly if you're
  73. 2:23wondering about what time you should
  74. 2:25upload your shorts I have uploaded at
  75. 2:27every time around the clock and I
  76. 2:29haven't noticed any difference in
  77. 2:30performance YouTube even knows that
  78. 2:32upload time is not known to affect
  79. 2:34long-term performance principle 4 after
  80. 2:37you upload your shorts you won't gain
  81. 2:39any views for a period of time then your
  82. 2:41views will Spike but then go back to a
  83. 2:43flat line this is something that's so
  84. 2:45discouraging about starting a new
  85. 2:46channel and might not make any sense
  86. 2:48over time you will become familiar with
  87. 2:50this because looking at any of the viral
  88. 2:52shorts on my channel they all Flatline
  89. 2:55for 7 to 30 days before being pushed
  90. 2:57into the algorithm no one can prove why
  91. 2:59this happened into shorts but I think
  92. 3:01it's YouTube testing your short to a
  93. 3:03small group of viewers to see if it's a
  94. 3:05good shot principle 5 long-term success
  95. 3:07on YouTube shorts is not luck I uploaded
  96. 3:09eight shorts on my channel before I had
  97. 3:11a viral short and at first I thought it
  98. 3:14was all work but I did upload another 39
  99. 3:16shorts that all got less than 25 000
  100. 3:18views which made me realize that I
  101. 3:21should go back and study the analytics
  102. 3:22of the viral short the difference that I
  103. 3:25noticed was the average view percentage
  104. 3:26was 83 and compared to all my other
  105. 3:29shorts this was very high I found two
  106. 3:31techniques that I accidentally applied
  107. 3:33to the short to make it have high
  108. 3:34average view percentage and ever since
  109. 3:36learning these techniques it has allowed
  110. 3:38me to consistently upload viral shorts
  111. 3:40technique 1 create shorts that have
  112. 3:42frequent edits to engage your viewer I
  113. 3:45learned about this after noticing I had
  114. 3:47text edits graphics and sound effects
  115. 3:49every two seconds across the entire
  116. 3:51short to keep the viewer engaged both
  117. 3:52visually and auditory along with this
  118. 3:54I've been adding my first edit just
  119. 3:56after the short begins because you want
  120. 3:58your viewer to stop scrolling on the
  121. 4:00feed as soon as they hear and see your
  122. 4:02short technique 2 make your short appeal
  123. 4:04to the largest audience possible I
  124. 4:06noticed the show was dedicated to one of
  125. 4:08the most popular football players and it
  126. 4:10was just his funniest moments the funny
  127. 4:12moments appealed to a much wider
  128. 4:13audience compared to my traditional
  129. 4:15content that was only aimed at football
  130. 4:17fans who were deeply involved in recent
  131. 4:19events also try not to use words within
  132. 4:21your edit so you can attract audiences
  133. 4:23that speak other languages if you want
  134. 4:25to learn in more detail about how to
  135. 4:27apply these techniques to your shorts
  136. 4:28check out my other recent video where I
  137. 4:30take you through the entire process of
  138. 4:32creating a short and actually the short
  139. 4:34I create in the video now has over 38
  140. 4:37million views so you will learn a lot
  141. 4:39now let's look at the channel performs
  142. 4:40the channel reached 230 million views
  143. 4:43over the last 200 days and if I change
  144. 4:45the time period to where we began
  145. 4:47uploading you can see I uploaded 60
  146. 4:49shorts within the first 30 days I
  147. 4:52recommend you try push yourself to post
  148. 4:53at a similar frequency as you will find
  149. 4:56out what works within your Niche much
  150. 4:57faster just like I did with this short
  151. 4:59here this was my first viral show which
  152. 5:02took 13 days before it started to go
  153. 5:04viral it made my channel reach a peak of
  154. 5:06500 000 views per day and then another
  155. 5:09peak of 600 000 views as I mentioned in
  156. 5:11principle 5 I did upload another 39
  157. 5:14shorts before I went back and studied
  158. 5:16what worked in my first viral short
  159. 5:18after learning about those two key
  160. 5:19techniques I applied them to these two
  161. 5:21shorts here and then to my surprise the
  162. 5:24shorts didn't immediately go viral and
  163. 5:26we were averaging around 30 000 views
  164. 5:28per day and if we go down we can see
  165. 5:30that both of these shorts were in fact
  166. 5:32outside the top five performing shorts
  167. 5:35during this period And if I click on
  168. 5:37both of the shorts you can see they both
  169. 5:39did go viral after around 30 days of
  170. 5:41being uploaded because as I mentioned in
  171. 5:43principle 4 shorts don't immediately go
  172. 5:46viral now back to the overall analytics
  173. 5:48we can change the time period to
  174. 5:50Lifetime and it was here when those two
  175. 5:52shorts started to go viral and we
  176. 5:54reached a peak of 970 000 views per day
  177. 5:57but these first two peaks looks so small
  178. 6:00on a lifetime view compared to the
  179. 6:02numbers we have been pushing recently
  180. 6:04where the channel has reached Peaks up
  181. 6:06to five to six million views per day and
  182. 6:08then to another Peak to around four to
  183. 6:10three million views per day this
  184. 6:12lifetime view really highlights
  185. 6:13principle one where I said you should be
  186. 6:16consistent in your uploads there are
  187. 6:18these large gaps at the bottom here
  188. 6:19where I wasn't uploading and this has
  189. 6:21caused the slow periods of growth for
  190. 6:23the channel which you shouldn't try to
  191. 6:25replicate looking a bit deeper into the
  192. 6:27analytics we can see that watch time
  193. 6:29subscribers and revenue all follow the
  194. 6:31same Trend and for Revenue you can see
  195. 6:33the channel wasn't receiving any revenue
  196. 6:35for the first 50 days because we had to
  197. 6:37reach the YouTube Parliament program
  198. 6:39threshold but once into the program the
  199. 6:41channel was averaging anywhere between
  200. 6:43ten to three dollars per day before
  201. 6:44reaching the peak of 162 dollars per day
  202. 6:47now the channel has been earning
  203. 6:49anywhere between 70 and 30 dollars per
  204. 6:51day here is the rest of my analytics if
  205. 6:53you're interested in any of this
  206. 6:54information just pause the video and
  207. 6:56have a look my goal with this channel
  208. 6:57now is to follow these principles so I
  209. 7:00can reach 1 million subscribers before
  210. 7:01the end of this year in my next video
  211. 7:03I'm going to create new short channels
  212. 7:05in niches that I'm unfamiliar with and
  213. 7:08apply the techniques that I've been
  214. 7:09teaching to prove once again that they
  215. 7:11work
