I Tried the HARDEST Map on Geoguessr — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Yo, what's good everyone? Zigzag here.
- 0:01Welcome back to another Geoguessr video.
- 0:03Today we are on what some people
- 0:04consider the hardest map in all of
- 0:06Geoguessr. It's Plonk It Extreme. So,
- 0:09Plonk is kind of the hub of the
- 0:10Geoguessr community. And over on that
- 0:12Discord, people compiled their hardest
- 0:14list of locations. And this is the
- 0:16extreme version of that map. So, as you
- 0:18might be able to tell, extremely
- 0:19difficult. The average score here,
- 0:217,100.
- 0:23And of course, we'll be playing no
- 0:24moving, panning, or zooming. Let's see
- 0:26how many countries in a row we can get
- 0:28right today. As we start off with the
- 0:30first location here, which is on a dirt
- 0:32road. Looks like we're probably driving
- 0:34right hand side of the road, hard to
- 0:35tell. Yeah, it's kind of like a dike of
- 0:37some kind over the open ocean here.
- 0:40First thought was Europe here. The house
- 0:42in the background look white in a way
- 0:44that does remind me of Europe. It's not
- 0:46a perfectly north-south-east-west road
- 0:47either, which probably also fits.
- 0:49Denmark or Netherlands came to mind here
- 0:51just with the land reclamation kind of
- 0:53vibe. I thought maybe Denmark over here.
- 0:55I could see this being North America. US
- 0:57or Canada also both possible.
- 1:00Um I was kind of thinking of like this
- 1:01kind of area around southern Ontario.
- 1:03You do get some similar looking roads
- 1:04there, but I don't know. I'm not
- 1:06convinced. I think I got to go for
- 1:07Europe here. Uh the white buildings in
- 1:09the background, that's what reminds me a
- 1:11bit of North America, but I am going to
- 1:12go for Europe here. And can I find an
- 1:15east-southeast road of some description
- 1:18that would make sense? Like this here
- 1:20would be perfect, but we want to go
- 1:21southeast, not northeast. Okay, this
- 1:23piece of road here, pretty good
- 1:25actually. Right kind of angle, and we do
- 1:27look onto the right kind of shape of uh
- 1:29land over here. So, I kind of like this
- 1:32guess. I can't even lie. Let's give it a
- 1:33go. And yeah, that was wow. I was not
- 1:36expecting to start this video with a
- 1:37flipping 5K, but there we go. That was
- 1:40uh just a matter of using the compass a
- 1:41little bit. I knew it would kind of look
- 1:43like this on the map with the kind of
- 1:44the thin land with the road. [music]
- 1:46And that was quite a remarkable
- 1:48beginning to the video. Probably not
- 1:49going to go so well for me on round
- 1:50number two, but let's find out. This
- 1:52looks like it might be Russia to me. Um
- 1:54even without checking the copyright,
- 1:56which is 2021, I was thinking Russia and
- 1:582021 copyright is really common over
- 2:00there. We have the snow coverage, which
- 2:02is really commonly found in the south of
- 2:04Russia, um, especially in Generation 4.
- 2:06And then, yeah, I mean, just look at the
- 2:07mountains. It looks like when I was in
- 2:09the Caucasus. And this kind of pine as
- 2:11well, also very common, I would say. I'm
- 2:13not sure what kind it is, but it's very
- 2:14common down here. There are certain
- 2:16roads down here that look like this. I'm
- 2:18going to try and remember which this
- 2:19would be. So, Elbrus, where's Elbrus?
- 2:21So, Elbrus is down here. We could be on
- 2:23the road to Elbrus, to be honest. I
- 2:24don't know but it definitely kind of
- 2:25looks like it could be. Uh, feels like a
- 2:27fairly major road. Angle's also good.
- 2:29Like, this could be also towards
- 2:31Vladikavkaz as well, in which case we'll
- 2:33lose a bunch of points, but I'll go
- 2:34here. Oh my gosh, I should have tried to
- 2:36line it up. This start is insane. I've
- 2:38never seen either of these locations
- 2:39before, either. Obviously, this map only
- 2:40has about 700 locations, but still. Wow.
- 2:43Okay, next one here. I feel like this is
- 2:46North America trying to cosplay as
- 2:47Europe because it's very nondescript. We
- 2:51have a very patchy road that looks
- 2:53European. And yet, these trees here,
- 2:55these first kind of look North American.
- 2:56Now, I'm second-guessing myself, though.
- 2:58We have a bike path of some description.
- 3:01I don't know, like, it it definitely
- 3:02looks a bit like like a Ukraine-Poland
- 3:05kind of part of the world. No, I think
- 3:07it is North America. I think these
- 3:09little bushes here, the way they've
- 3:10planted these looks North American. Does
- 3:12it, man? I think so. I think it's like
- 3:15Ontario, maybe, somewhere around there.
- 3:18Uh, man. Oh, this is like a really good
- 3:20one. This this one I really don't know.
- 3:23This green sign off to the left here, I
- 3:25I don't know what I should think of
- 3:26that, either. I don't know, the you the
- 3:28road looks it's it's wide like a North
- 3:30American road, but the dust on it and
- 3:32the patchiness of it really look
- 3:35European. Uh, I don't know. I'm going to
- 3:37like, if I squinted only at this
- 3:39vegetation, I would instantly think
- 3:40North America. And I think vegetation's
- 3:42a little bit more reliable than the
- 3:43road. Although, what are these signs? I
- 3:45have no idea. So, I'm going to go I'm
- 3:46going to go Toronto here. I'm going to
- 3:48go Toronto. Let's see if that's a decent
- 3:49guess. Okay, it was Montreal. That's
- 3:52another great guess. This is I don't
- 3:53know why it gave me the 5K emoji just
- 3:55then, but this is a really, really good
- 3:56start, especially considering the map.
- 3:58So,
- 3:59>> [snorts]
- 3:59>> yeah, should have gone a bit further
- 4:00north, but that is actually delightful.
- 4:02Wow, this is going way better than you'd
- 4:05ever expect. Now we're getting hit with
- 4:07the unofficial coverage. It looks like
- 4:09Peru to me. Is that crazy? This kind of
- 4:12tufty grass. But we're only looking off
- 4:14to the side of the road. Like this could
- 4:15be Norway for all I know, so that's
- 4:17really annoying. Is that the sun? No,
- 4:19that's just like a radio tower,
- 4:21telephone tower of some kind. We've got
- 4:22a tent over here. What is that tent
- 4:25doing? Very confusing.
- 4:27Looks like we've got a bit of snow going
- 4:28on, no? Okay, so I might have to change
- 4:30my Peru guess cuz you don't get snow
- 4:33just sitting on hills too much in Peru.
- 4:35So, so now I'm thinking this actually is
- 4:37Norway, perhaps even Turkey I could see
- 4:40working or or I don't know, something
- 4:41with similar shape mountains. Uh, this
- 4:43is It's a very pale road. What is this
- 4:46tent? I think it's just snow. That's why
- 4:47I'm not going to guess Peru. Mhm.
- 4:50Normally whenever I play an unofficial
- 4:51coverage map, I turn off the author name
- 4:53in the bottom. The person here is called
- 4:56Jacques. So, would I meta game and
- 4:58actually go Alpine France? It actually
- 5:00fits, that's the thing, cuz we've got
- 5:02the snow. We've got a very pale road,
- 5:03which is decently common in France.
- 5:05We've got a radio tower. You might want
- 5:07to put that if you're like trying to hit
- 5:08the people down here with the radio
- 5:10tower, you know? Uh,
- 5:12I'm going to do it cuz I don't have a
- 5:13better option. It could also be
- 5:14Switzerland, too. The mountains here are
- 5:15kind of to the north, so it may actually
- 5:17fit better for Switzerland. I'll go on
- 5:19the Swiss border here. Bit of meta
- 5:20gaming, but if it pays off, it pays off,
- 5:22right? Okay, it was Romania. So, I would
- 5:24have been closer in Turkey, but all in
- 5:26all, still a good guess. I mean, I'm
- 5:27still happy to get the right continent
- 5:28here. Okay, next one here. Probably
- 5:30taken by a Frenchman, just not just not
- 5:31quite in France, of course. Okay, next
- 5:33one here. So, this is North America.
- 5:35We've got the yellow lines. We've got
- 5:36this kind of guardrail with the like
- 5:38black plastic square box thing, which
- 5:41you see quite a lot in the USA. Um, this
- 5:43kind of red sand on the side of the
- 5:46road. It occurs in a few places.
- 5:49Um, I've definitely seen it like east of
- 5:51the hills around Bend in Oregon. I feel
- 5:53like you see it in New Mexico, too,
- 5:55which is kind of more obvious. Maybe you
- 5:57could see it in the Yellowstone National
- 5:58Park. I'm I'm kind of tempted by that,
- 6:00as well. It's like a big bushfire here.
- 6:02Look, the background had a big bushfire.
- 6:04We've got a circular bollard. Okay.
- 6:06Circular bollard, pretty common Wyoming,
- 6:09Colorado, New Mexico. So, the New Mexico
- 6:11idea may be good. I think these trees
- 6:13feel a bit too cold. So, maybe then the
- 6:15Wyoming shall just inside Yellowstone
- 6:18then. I mean, it could happen. I could
- 6:19see it. I don't think the round bollard
- 6:21thing would be common in Oregon. So, I'm
- 6:23going to I'm going to go for Yellowstone
- 6:24here, actually. And then go over here on
- 6:27this road. Ah, it can't be New Mexico.
- 6:29Well, it felt very cold, but I guess
- 6:30that's why it's on this map. We end up
- 6:32with a score of 17,200.
- 6:35What do you need to get onto the top
- 6:36scores of this map? Um, it's my best
- 6:38ever score, but you need 21K. Yeah, I
- 6:40think it would be the case that you
- 6:41could probably memorize a bunch of
- 6:42locations. So, it's probably not the
- 6:44most validating leaderboard ever.
- 6:46Anyway, next one here, Plonk Extreme. I
- 6:48feel like this has been updated to small
- 6:50cam, and it's probably a bit easier than
- 6:51it used to be, but I would probably just
- 6:53go Austria here, right? Very thin road.
- 6:56It's kind of a bad road for Austria,
- 6:58though. They're pretty rich in Austria.
- 6:59I don't know, the shape of this hill and
- 7:01the corn probably reminded me of that
- 7:02the most, though. So, I think I'll go
- 7:04for it anyway. I'll go outside of Graz
- 7:05here. And okay, it was, but just much
- 7:08further west. I still good. We got the
- 7:09country right twice in a row now, as we
- 7:11did at the start of the video. This one
- 7:12here, wow. What's going on? This to me
- 7:16feels like it's a hot country, but high
- 7:17altitude. So, I'm thinking like
- 7:20South Africa. I'm thinking maybe like
- 7:22Italy, Spain.
- 7:25Possibly even France. That's kind of the
- 7:28four countries that came to mind at
- 7:29first. Maybe even Greece, maybe. Could
- 7:31it ever be? Yeah, I could see Greece, as
- 7:33well. Is this South Africa, though? I
- 7:35think the road looks really European,
- 7:37right? The left side of the screen could
- 7:38certainly be, but I think it's actually
- 7:40Europe. Doesn't really look like we can
- 7:42see where the sun is cuz the sun would
- 7:43help us a lot, but it seems like it's
- 7:45just to our west.
- 7:46Genuinely could just be Sicily here.
- 7:50What do I think of a Sicily? Maybe
- 7:52Sardinia? Probably not so much. I might
- 7:54go for Sicily here, guys. A high
- 7:56altitude Sicily somehow could be
- 7:58correct. Crete, Alps, I don't know. It's
- 8:01too hard, but I'm going to go Sicily.
- 8:03Okay, it was actually
- 8:05not one of the countries I mentioned. It
- 8:06was Portugal. Mhm, yeah, makes sense. We
- 8:09did that country streak, though.
- 8:11Okay, next round. Wow, very
- 8:13Asian-looking hills. The hills that just
- 8:14jut out of the ground here. Um,
- 8:16we got big oil palms over here. So, I'm
- 8:19thinking this is indeed Asia and I don't
- 8:22know where. Probably Thailand. If If it
- 8:24was a normal location, I would think
- 8:26Thailand, but I'm thinking this is not
- 8:28going to be normal. So, maybe if it is a
- 8:30really difficult one, maybe we could be
- 8:32looking at a Cambodia, potentially.
- 8:34Indonesia, I could see. Malaysia, I
- 8:37could see, maybe more so. Probably like
- 8:39Probably that's Standing guess here is
- 8:40Thailand, but maybe this is just
- 8:42Malaysia. It's like the sandstone hills,
- 8:44right? So, I'm assuming to the north.
- 8:46Okay, that means we are southern
- 8:47hemisphere. Okay. Okay, okay. In which
- 8:49case, I will go Malaysia. I mean, that's
- 8:51like close to the equator, so that's why
- 8:52the sun might be a little bit deceiving.
- 8:54But, I mean, it could be Indonesia, but
- 8:56that would be pretty crazy. I'm going to
- 8:57go for outside of Ipoh here. Oh, wow.
- 9:00Wow, I knew you get cliffs like this,
- 9:02but again, I don't think I've ever had
- 9:03that location. That's just a nice guess.
- 9:05Very happy with that. There are some
- 9:07pretty famous cliffs, I think, around
- 9:08Ipoh, but this kind of the landscape you
- 9:10start to get around here in Malaysia and
- 9:12it kind of goes up all the way through
- 9:14Thailand into Laos, even up to China,
- 9:17right? So, very great guess that. Very
- 9:19happy with that. Next one here, new
- 9:21small kind of coverage. This is just the
- 9:23USA, though. This is made to look like
- 9:25Europe, I know, but at the end of the
- 9:27day, this road is too American and it's
- 9:30more the vegetation here. I can just
- 9:32tell. This is sir Appalachian
- 9:33wintertime. Uh, Tennessee, um, Georgia,
- 9:37South Carolina, North Carolina,
- 9:39Kentucky. It's like one of those states
- 9:40I mentioned, I'm sure. And of them, I
- 9:43may even be tempted by like a
- 9:45southwestern pocket of like North
- 9:47Carolina, uh, northern Georgia here. I'm
- 9:49going to go for the northern Georgia
- 9:51shout, actually, cuz it looks like where
- 9:52me and Ryley went hiking. I was so
- 9:54confident.
- 9:56>> [laughter]
- 9:56>> I guess the road was a little wrong, but
- 9:59wow, the forest looks so American to me.
- 10:02No? Like anyone who's from America
- 10:04surely can validate that that looks like
- 10:05the Appalachians. Maybe some of these,
- 10:08uh, trees peaking through here not so
- 10:09much. Wow. Well, during the winter
- 10:12things can be difficult for sure, but
- 10:13that is a hard round. That really looks
- 10:15so American. Well, well, it had to
- 10:16happen, guys. We had to make that kind
- 10:18of fail eventually. Next one here. Um,
- 10:21huge blur. What's up with the huge blur?
- 10:23I mean, I was not thinking I mean, I was
- 10:25not thinking of any low-cam country, but
- 10:28what is that blur? That's a very strange
- 10:30one. Um, Asia vibes off the vegetation
- 10:33to me, but I guess I got to go to Africa
- 10:35now. It looks like kind of like a
- 10:36Ugandan blur. But no, I don't think so.
- 10:39Oh,
- 10:40all of a sudden you think you know so
- 10:41much about vegetation, but then you get
- 10:43around like this and you're like, "Uh,
- 10:44really?" Cuz it kind of looks a little
- 10:45Mexican, but I don't think this is
- 10:46Mexico. I was thinking Sri Lanka off the
- 10:49bat, or maybe Cambodia. I don't think
- 10:51either of those countries has this blur,
- 10:52though. That's the simple truth of it.
- 10:54Thailand, maybe. Some kind of feel
- 10:57southern, but not able to be told, I
- 11:00would say.
- 11:01Uh, I'm going to trust the Asian
- 11:02vegetation here. I'm going to go
- 11:03Thailand, cuz I feel like that is the
- 11:05country where I'm getting this blur
- 11:07correct would actually be possible.
- 11:08Yeah, okay. Let's try. Okay, it was
- 11:11what? Kinmen County. It was Asian
- 11:13vegetation, and it was a low-cam
- 11:16country, cuz you do occasionally get
- 11:17this really wide blur in Taiwan. But
- 11:19that is so insane for Taiwan. I'm sure
- 11:23that if it was panned like this, then it
- 11:25the round is just impossible. It's only
- 11:27because you could see the blur that you
- 11:28could remember this one. That is so
- 11:30crazy. Great location. And we end up
- 11:32with a uh, 10,800 points score, still
- 11:34beating the average, but not by much.
- 11:36That was very difficult indeed. Okay,
- 11:38next one here, we've got an antenna.
- 11:39It's a short antenna.
- 11:41The round itself immediately reminded me
- 11:44with the extremely pale road and the
- 11:46cut-off antenna reminded me maybe of
- 11:49Montenegro, kind of coastal Montenegro
- 11:51down here towards Shkodër in Albania. We
- 11:55do kind of see that the west is pretty
- 11:56flat, so I do kind of like it for this
- 11:58area. Uh architecture fits. We've got a
- 12:00few palm trees, also fits. I think if
- 12:02I'm wrong, it's probably just Croatia.
- 12:05You know where I could see this being
- 12:06with the red soil is up towards Pula. So
- 12:08maybe that's actually a better guess,
- 12:10cuz Pula has a lot of red soil and I
- 12:14think the landscape is also pretty
- 12:15similar to when I was there.
- 12:172016 copyright though. I feel like
- 12:19that's got to be more common in
- 12:21Montenegro and I this was the place I
- 12:22immediately thought of anyway, so I'm
- 12:24just kind of leaning towards it for that
- 12:26reason. I feel like the angle of the
- 12:27road west-northwest is also really
- 12:29common here, so why not? I'm going to go
- 12:31for it. But guys,
- 12:33I think it's one of the two places I
- 12:35mentioned. Okay, perfect, yeah. Exactly.
- 12:37The angle of the road was just a bit too
- 12:38good there as well, so 2.1 K's away.
- 12:41Glad I recognized it. Next one here,
- 12:42this is familiar. I feel like I've had
- 12:43this round before. Is it one of the
- 12:45mountain roads in Cambodia? I think the
- 12:47tree mix in the background looks really
- 12:49good. I think the house looks decent.
- 12:51The blur looks fine as well. Like I'm
- 12:54not super confident, in fact the blur
- 12:56looks a bit big, which is a bit weird.
- 12:59South is kind of south, so that works.
- 13:01Yeah, I feel like I just recognized it
- 13:03though. I feel like it's one of these
- 13:03like mountain roads up here or maybe in
- 13:06this pocket here as well. I'm thinking
- 13:07it might be one of the north border
- 13:09roads, like this one maybe. I'm kind of
- 13:11liking it. We could be even be right
- 13:12here, like genuinely, but I don't know.
- 13:14There's a bunch of these roads with
- 13:16similar angles. Well, okay. I'm going to
- 13:18try this one, but I'm pretty sure this
- 13:20is Cambodia. Oh yeah, that's the 5K. I
- 13:23knew I found a pretty good looking bend
- 13:25and I have had that round before, I
- 13:27think, but it would have been years ago.
- 13:30So, I'm still pretty happy with that.
- 13:31Okay, next one here. We're on 9,991, by
- 13:35the way, after two rounds. That is not
- 13:37bad. Okay. Uh we've got a coffee
- 13:40plantation. Guys, I'm a bit washed, but
- 13:42I think this is coffee. And the sun is
- 13:45not helpful. We've got a coconut palm.
- 13:48The whole round here, pretty generic.
- 13:51This tree, a bit Asian-looking. So, what
- 13:54do we want to do here? Maybe this could
- 13:56be like Lampung coffee.
- 13:59You do get some coffee plantation there.
- 14:01Um I could see Philippines working here.
- 14:05I could see a southern Brazil. Like,
- 14:06whenever you have coffee, you should
- 14:07always consider Minas Gerais.
- 14:09Um I don't think it's Kenya.
- 14:12I don't know. I think it's Asia. But is
- 14:14Lampung going to be correct? Probably
- 14:16not. Anyway, I'll try it. I'll try it.
- 14:17No, it is Brazil, but it's Rondônia.
- 14:20That is crazy. Well, I think this one,
- 14:23you could definitely get Brazil, but
- 14:24good luck getting more than 2,000
- 14:25points, cuz like coffee is mostly just
- 14:27grown down here in the southeast. What
- 14:29the heck? Okay. Well,
- 14:3217,900 km away. Pretty pretty difficult
- 14:35to guess any further than that, even if
- 14:36you tried. So, that's impressive in at
- 14:38least in one way. Next one here, we got
- 14:41palms galore. Got a Asian-looking road
- 14:43here, I want to say. The road looks
- 14:45Bangladeshi, if you ask me. Vegetation
- 14:48also looks Asian. I feel like it's meant
- 14:50to look like Indonesia. But the question
- 14:52is, is it actually there? We've got a
- 14:54big ditch up to the side of the road
- 14:55here. That doesn't really feel as much
- 14:57Bangladesh. But it's just the way the
- 14:59sand is on the road looks so
- 15:00Bangladeshi. I don't know, guys. It's
- 15:02Asia. I I would like to say it's at
- 15:04least Asia. Maybe Peru or something.
- 15:09I don't know. I've been sitting here for
- 15:10a while, and I just Nothing's coming.
- 15:12Sun kind of looks like it's to the
- 15:14north, but it is a cloudy day, so not
- 15:16going to put too much stock in that, but
- 15:18maybe that would help convince me to go
- 15:19Indonesia. Maybe. No, I'm going to stick
- 15:21with my guns. I'm going to go Bangladesh
- 15:23even though the road kind of feels like
- 15:25that's the obvious option, but at the
- 15:26same time the landscape not so much. I'm
- 15:28going to try it. Man, I was going to go
- 15:30Java. We could have had such a good
- 15:31score on this seed. And the last one
- 15:32here, USA. Yellow center lines. Very
- 15:36interesting vibe here. Probably reminds
- 15:38me of like a Colorado, New Mexico. These
- 15:41pines actually might be European pines.
- 15:43I think that's why the bait is here. I
- 15:44think the road lines are meant to look
- 15:46white because of the sun, but I can tell
- 15:49that's an American car. I can tell
- 15:50that's an American house and I can tell
- 15:52that it's yellow lines, so
- 15:54have to be here. New Mexico, Colorado,
- 15:58Utah.
- 15:59That's my three state shouts here. Let's
- 16:01go Colorado. Think it's the most likely
- 16:03here. Lake City, Colorado. Okay, it was
- 16:05New Mexico again. Apparently, the
- 16:07beloved state of this map. Let's try it
- 16:08one more time here. 17,000 the score to
- 16:11beat or 20,000 if we want to get onto
- 16:14the leaderboards. 21,000. This is
- 16:15immediately just Turkey with the gray
- 16:18car and the poplar tree rows here. And I
- 16:21think this is towards Igdir. Can we see
- 16:24any mountain? We're looking north and
- 16:25it's flat, so that would make sense if
- 16:26we're looking onto Armenia. And
- 16:29I just feel like this is extremely
- 16:30typical of the Armenia border kind of
- 16:32population, so yeah, had to be there.
- 16:34Very good guess. We started out a bunch
- 16:36of seeds with incredible scores. This is
- 16:39interesting. So, immediately it was
- 16:42Ukraine, but the longer I look the more
- 16:44I'm like, is this meant to actually be
- 16:46Canada? Because it looks like a dirt
- 16:51road. Very straight dirt road in a way
- 16:53that looks very Canadian. So, let's
- 16:55think about it. If we were Ukraine, we
- 16:56would be driving this way, which means
- 16:59we would see the back of the car here.
- 17:00So, yeah, I think this actually is North
- 17:02America surprisingly enough. But
- 17:04where? And maybe like a New Brunswick
- 17:06shout here could work in my opinion.
- 17:08Maybe a Ontario. Very red soil. Probably
- 17:11more New Brunswick therefore, like kind
- 17:13of looks like Prince Edward Island. I I
- 17:15could it ever be Alaska? I think the
- 17:16vegetation on the ground kind of makes
- 17:18sense, but the trees themselves probably
- 17:21look a bit too healthy. And of course,
- 17:22it could be the United States elsewhere
- 17:24as well, but I don't know. I'm leaning
- 17:25towards the Canada shout here. I don't
- 17:27feel good about this guess, but I do
- 17:28think it's North America. I do think
- 17:29even though I initially vibed Europe, it
- 17:31shouldn't be there. Oh wow, what a good
- 17:33guess. That is very, very nice. Yeah.
- 17:35Well, the pinkish soil in Canada
- 17:36definitely tends to line up a bit more
- 17:38towards this area. And then, generation
- 17:40three dirt roads are pretty uncommon in
- 17:42the northeast of the US, so wow, that
- 17:44was great. We are off to a flyer here.
- 17:46Next one. Wow, I mean
- 17:49not much going on here. We've got a
- 17:50small like canal. We've got grass in the
- 17:54middle of the road, very dark soil. Um
- 17:582021 coverage, a wheat field here. Okay,
- 18:00that's important. So, wheat field, lots
- 18:02of wheat in Australia, Argentina,
- 18:05Canada, Russia, US. But, with 2021
- 18:09coverage, I guess you got to start to
- 18:10think about Russia here. My initial vibe
- 18:13was actually Argentina though, so I
- 18:15don't know what to make of that. Like
- 18:16the sun seems to be more to the south
- 18:18here. I think that actually is accurate.
- 18:20So yeah, we're probably just between the
- 18:21US, Canada, and Russia here, I would
- 18:24say. It's very dark soil. Like this kind
- 18:26of dark soil is super common in Russia.
- 18:28And it is 2021 copyright, like I said in
- 18:30the Russia round before, it's really
- 18:31common there. But, but, but, feel like
- 18:33this random tree here and whatever this
- 18:35thing is here both feel North American.
- 18:38It's about this canal though. Would they
- 18:39use that in the United States? May even
- 18:42just be Europe for that reason. I don't
- 18:43know. I don't know. There's too many
- 18:44possibilities here. I'm going to say it
- 18:46is Europe, actually, because of the way
- 18:48there's no fence here and it kind of
- 18:49just becomes wheat. You know, it kind of
- 18:51just becomes wheat. It's kind of
- 18:52strange. I could see like Belgium or
- 18:55Poland or something random, but I will
- 18:57go for Russia and I will go in Penza.
- 19:01Why not? Hoho, Texas, man.
- 19:04I could have gotten it, but I was going
- 19:06to go for like North Dakota anyway, so
- 19:09yeah, that I not going to go. I think I
- 19:10was going to go Montana. That would not
- 19:12have gone well for us. Well, it's still
- 19:13going to be an extra points, but still.
- 19:14Again, the second last one here. This to
- 19:16me looks like the south pocket of
- 19:18Ecuador or the north pocket of Peru.
- 19:20Dirt road generation three coverage,
- 19:22kind of wide trees, kind of African
- 19:24looking trees.
- 19:25Uh hilly landscape. This Yeah,
- 19:27especially looks like Tumbes to me, so I
- 19:29think I'll just go for it.
- 19:31Um yeah. Okay, it was actually on the
- 19:33Ecuador inside, but it definitely looked
- 19:35like this area, so still pretty happy
- 19:37with that score. And the last one here,
- 19:38we can beat our initial score if we more
- 19:40or less 5K this one. Though that feels
- 19:42very difficult because what am I looking
- 19:44at? Um
- 19:45very American looking road, but I'm I'm
- 19:47assuming that's the bait here because I
- 19:49think these trees look more European.
- 19:51Oh, we have some wind turbines as well
- 19:52in the background. So yeah, pretty
- 19:53bullish on Europe here. 2019 copyright.
- 19:57And we have a bit of fireweed as well.
- 19:58That's something I hadn't noticed until
- 20:00just now, but this is fireweed, which is
- 20:02very suspicious. I mean, actually highly
- 20:05suspicious. I mean, maybe it's Canada,
- 20:06but to me I guess that kind of puts us
- 20:08in Norway or Sweden. 2019 copyright.
- 20:11Feel like that's much more common in
- 20:12Norway, but it looks more like Sweden.
- 20:14So now I'm just confused. Fireweed like
- 20:16this, I guess I guess we're on the
- 20:18border somewhere or this is something
- 20:19crazy. I don't know. I'll go for Norway
- 20:21though.
- 20:22It was Bornholm. That is so insane. That
- 20:25was fireweed. No, I mean, still a good
- 20:26score, but was that not fireweed? That's
- 20:29crazy. 17,400.
- 20:31Another good score. Could have optimized
- 20:33it a little bit with the Ecuador, and
- 20:35that is not our best score. We narrowly
- 20:37miss out on our best score, but still a
- 20:38fun session of recording. Honestly, kind
- 20:41of popped off on some of these guesses.
- 20:43I've still kind of got it, but at the
- 20:44same time, some pretty bad ones, too.
- 20:46Anyway, let me know what you thought of
- 20:47the video. Hope you all enjoyed it. If
- 20:49there's any other really hard maps that
- 20:50you want to see me attempt, let me know
- 20:52about those as well. I'll definitely
- 20:53give them a go. And yeah, I'll see you
- 20:55guys in a video very soon. Till next
- 20:56time, and goodbye.
