0:00This right here, this is a cave. And
0:02now, [snorts]
0:03I'm in the cave. And fun fact, this
0:04world is just one big massive cave. The
0:07lush Minecraft surface is now just
0:08bedrock and nothingness, which means we
0:10have to learn how to survive purely
0:11underground with limited resources. The
0:14coolest part about this is that it
0:15completely changes the hierarchy of
0:17resources throughout the play through.
0:19Instead of diamonds being at the
0:20absolute top of the pyramid, they're now
0:21more towards the middle, while something
0:23as simple as a good piece of food is now
0:25towards the top purely due to the
0:26difference in availability. Just as an
0:28example, in a world like this, I can
0:30look out over any edge and likely see
0:32some diamonds. However, one thing I will
0:33almost never see is a passive mob due
0:36to, well, you know, being entirely
0:38underground means no sun. And since the
0:39sun doesn't exist, every single block in
0:41the world that I haven't personally lit
0:43up with a torch will now have the
0:44capability of spawning a hostile mob.
0:47Just like every other video, I have some
0:48goals outside of just surviving,
0:50starting with getting an army of all 16
0:52happy gas variants that are in the game.
0:54I also want to build a self-sustaining
0:55base with cool things like a built-in
0:57aquarium, a totally humane villager
0:59hall, and a massive nether portal. So,
1:02with all that being said, grab your pet
1:03chapstick, get comfy, and lock in
1:05because we are about to survive 100 days
1:07underground in hardcore Minecraft. All
1:10righty, here we are, and we are in a
1:14cave-only
1:15world. I'm excited to be back playing
1:17regular vanilla after RL Craft cuz RL
1:20Craft is just so mean. Cave-only
1:22meaning, obviously, we can't go to the
1:23surface and it will always be dark in
1:25here, meaning there will be mobs
1:27everywhere.
1:30Okay, that was super easy. I'm
1:32definitely not at half health to start
1:34off the challenge. But yeah, just look,
1:37I mean, look at this. It is just crazy.
1:41It's so cool. Oh, no. Wait, I really
1:43like the spawn. Wait, hold on. Please
1:44don't shoot me, man. I'm a nice guy. No,

1:48Okay, well, we really need food. We
1:49either need some brown mushrooms so we
1:51can make some mushroom stew or some fish
1:54would I I going to say feed families,
1:56but it really just feed me. Yeah, goal
1:58number one right now, we need to find a
1:59tree so we can get some wood, which can
2:01be pretty rare, and then obviously some
2:04food so we aren't on two health.
2:11Oh, oh, look, desert temple. That looks
2:13actually really weird. I just floating
2:15in the sky. But yeah, like I was saying
2:17earlier, or at least I think I said it,
2:18there are still structures, which is
2:20honestly my favorite part about this
2:21data pack. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
2:23wait. This is an ocean. Hopefully we can
2:24just go punch a fish. Oh, they're so far

2:32maybe my least favorite activity ever.

5:51because then we can at least get a
5:52shield and then I'd feel really safe.

6:14think the move is to go to the ocean or
6:16at least find an ocean biome that's not
6:18a warm one and then kill a bunch of
6:19salmon or cod. Honestly, I guess we
6:21should probably chop just about every
6:23tree we see only because you never know
6:26when you're going to find more. Ooh,
6:28another desert temple. Holy. Cuz that's
6:30pretty accessible. If we just get up
6:32into there, we should just be able to
6:33walk right in. Okay. Okay, I think we're
6:36right next to it. We just got to find it
6:38now.

8:15starter base. I don't know if it's going
8:16to be our forever base, but at least a
8:18spot to chill out for a while. Yeah, so
8:20unfortunately, I'm not really seeing a
8:22good spot to build, so I think we're
8:24going to have to head to the mainland
8:25here and we'll just have to run to the
8:27ocean whenever we need some fish. We did
8:29get a total of 23, which is pretty good.

9:11we're going to almost be full health for
9:13the first time since the start of the
9:15video, pretty much. That is going to be

9:51There's a lot of grass, decent bit of
9:53frog light, so it shouldn't be a
9:55mega mob spawner. So yeah, I think
9:57that's the move. Okay, I've kind of
9:59spent some time looking around. I think
10:00I'm going to build it like right here.
10:01Cuz then we kind of get like our own
10:02private pond. And then also the big like
10:05ravine in front of me. So, with that
10:07being said, I'm going to go ahead, I'm
10:08going to grab our torches and actually
10:10spend all of our coal to make as many as
10:12we can, and just start lighting up the
10:14area. Cuz if we can just get a somewhat
10:16safe area, dude, we will be looking so
10:18good.
10:20So originally, I was like, "Oh, I want
10:22to do the lake house, you know, with the
10:23little like fishing spot here." But what
10:25if instead, we make like a hobbit style
10:29house inside one of the caves? Or not
10:31like cave, but like inside this mountain
10:33here. I think that's the move, and I
10:35feel like this wall is going to be our
10:38best bet. I have like the vision right
10:40now, so I think I'm just going to start
10:42kind of digging this thing out, and then
10:44um well, we'll kind of just keep on
10:45expanding it over time. I think this
10:47could be pretty cool though, so.
10:55Okay, there we go. Now we got a decent
10:58size starting room. Definitely probably
11:00going to expand even more, but mining
11:03with the stone pickaxe is honestly
11:05terrible, so I'm not going to do that
11:07forever. I think it'd be better if we go
11:09and get ourselves a little bit of iron.
11:11So I think that is going to be the move.
11:13So we kind of have two options. We can
11:14go around, and there's like obviously a
11:15ton of iron all throughout the ceiling,
11:17or if we go towards this big I don't
11:21even know if you could call it a ravine,
11:22but you know what I'm talking about.
11:23This big old What is this? Cuz it's not
11:25a cave, cuz the whole thing's a cave. I
11:27don't know what you would call this. We
11:29might go down there, cuz there is a
11:30boatload of iron. Should be pretty easy
11:32to get to. That poor spider just uh uh
11:35well, he didn't make it. Yeah, we got a
11:36bunch of torches and honestly, I'm going
11:38to bring down the furnace with us. Just
11:40Wait, I have iron from the shipwreck.
11:42I'm such an idiot. Okay, well, we do
11:43have a bucket and honestly, with this we
11:45could make ourselves a little helmet
11:47here. Look at us go. I still hate that
11:49we don't have our skin, but that's fine.
11:51Let's go ahead, grab ourselves a little
11:53water bucket. Beautiful. And now with
11:56this, let's go on a little tripsky.
11:57Here's a speed up this process a little
11:59bit. going to start smelting the iron as
12:02I mine it.

12:06table. Oh my. Dude, I'm so dumb. Oh my
12:11god. I guess we'll head back pretty soon
12:13then. Okay, well, we got all of our iron
12:15smelted down. I'm going to head back up
12:16here. We're going to make some iron
12:17armor, iron tools, and then I want to at
12:19least start our farming. So, I'm going
12:21to make a hoe as well and then try and
12:23get some seeds planted cuz I would like
12:25some long-term food source. I feel like
12:27that would be nice. Okay, well, let's
12:30start off with some delicious iron
12:33armor. Just like that. Boom. We have
12:35full iron. Let's make an iron pick.
12:38We'll make an iron axe. And then lastly,
12:40we'll even make an iron hoe because we
12:43are just swimming in that much iron. Um
12:45and also, I guess we'll upgrade to a
12:47double chest cuz uh well, we might as
12:49well. There we go. Oh, so much better.
12:52Okay. All righty, we got a fresh day
12:54here and we are going to start off by at
12:56least making a mini farm cuz I do want
12:59to start, you know, working on some
13:01sustainable food, which for now is just
13:03going to be wheat and then hopefully
13:05from a zombie or a villager or
13:07something, we'll get some carrots and
13:08potatoes and all those goodies, but
13:10wheat will have to do for now.
13:13Okay, there we go. We got a little
13:14starter farm going. Obviously, we could
13:16make it bigger, but it's honestly, it's
13:18a good enough start. I'm fine with that.
13:20Okay. For now, I'll just plant a bunch
13:22of these saplings just so we'll have
13:23some wood waiting for us. And then
13:26instead, we'll just go mining for a
13:27little bit cuz honestly, I would love to
13:29get some juicy ores stacked up. Okay,
13:32well good news, all our saplings have
13:33been planted and potential bad news, I
13:36think I am going to go look for a
13:37different tree type. I, you know, the
13:39smart thing would be to go and mine.
13:41It's not always about playing smart, you
13:42know, I just kind of want to get some
13:44different wood so we can start building,
13:45too. So, and hopefully I actually don't
13:47lose our base. That would be awkward.
13:49Oh, I saw a different tree. Granted, it
13:52is literally the worst tree. Um I know,
13:54you know, some people like birch a
13:56little bit and it grew on me a little
13:58bit in our island video, but overall, I
14:00still don't like It's like it's It's
14:02just I can't. I don't know. It It I
14:04don't have a good explanation. I can't
14:05lie, but you just It's just like mid.

14:51trees. So, I think I'm just going to
14:52head back home cuz I don't want to spend
14:54too much time.

15:02almost two full days to get back here.
15:04Okay, well I found three rock cod in the
15:07chest, so we can at least cook this down
15:08and almost get full saturation. I don't
15:11think we're actually going to get full,
15:12but we'll be close. I don't know what
15:14would technically be the better order
15:16here in terms of what to eat first. So,
15:17I'm just going to go with the rotten
15:18flesh. And then once our hunger debuff
15:21goes away, then we'll switch to the cod.
15:23I think that was the right move for
15:24sure. And before we do anything else,
15:26I'm also just going to slap a little
15:28doorsky down here. There we go. Our base
15:31is somewhat safe, if you can even call
15:33it a base. Okay, well, objective number
15:35one right now is to just get some more
15:37food. And I think to do that, I am going
15:38to expand the farm. Originally, I wasn't
15:40going to cuz I was like, "Oh, it's just
15:41a little starter farm." But we need
15:43literally all the food we can get right
15:45now. So, I'm going to expand this to its
15:47max size based off one water source
15:50block, and then spend all of our bones
15:51that we have.
15:58All righty, well, just like that, we
15:59used all our bone meal. We got 24 wheat,
16:01which is eight pieces of bread. So,
16:03honestly, I will
16:04gladly take that. Now, let's replant all
16:06this, and we'll go make that bread. And
16:08then, honestly, I might just spend all
16:09day today getting food. So, I might go
16:11fishing after this. I want to plant
16:13every single sapling we have. So,
16:14honestly, we already have a ton of oak,
16:16so I'm not even going to plant any more
16:17oak. Let's just plant the single dark
16:19oak we can. And then, I can't believe
16:21I'm going to say this, but we're
16:22planting birch saplings, dude. What has
16:25the world come to? I don't know.
16:28Anyways, with that being said, I'm going
16:29to hop in any body water I can find and
16:32start looking for some fish.
16:37Okay, I think that's enough fishing for
16:39the day. I want to go cook this down so
16:40I could not be at no HP. So, let's go do
16:43that. And tomorrow, we should be able to
16:45start building. 20 fish, I mean, it's
16:46not the most food ever, but it is a
16:48decent enough start. Okay, we got our
16:50cod cooking in here. And while we wait
16:53for this, I think we need to go ahead
16:54and start planting our sugarcane and
16:57bamboo. [music]
16:57I still every time I step into this
16:59world, man, I just love the way it
17:01looks. It is so cool. Okay, here we go.
17:04Just planting this up. All righty, we
17:06got a pretty good size wall planted.
17:09Now, I didn't want to actually plant it
17:11right there because I kind of like
17:12having the waterfall into the massive
17:14cave down low. So, I think we'll leave
17:17Oh, you know what? No, I changed my
17:18mind.
17:19There we go. This is honestly plenty,
17:22but I'm going to finish this wall, too,
17:24and then we will be done. With that
17:25being said, I also want to plant just a
17:27little bit of bamboo. I don't normally
17:30use a ton of bamboo, but if we have it,
17:32we might as well plant it.
17:35Okay, I'm going to make a back up iron
17:38axe here, cuz we're probably going to
17:39break our old one pretty quickly here.
17:41And let's get to tree chopping.
17:48Okay, well, I'm not going to lie, that
17:49was not as many trees as I thought. So,
17:51that was probably the shortest time left
17:53ever, but we have Boy, not not a lot of
17:56wood, let's be honest, but that's okay.
17:57Now, the question is, what do I want to
17:59do? I'm going to spend the rest of the
18:00day just sitting here brainstorming, cuz
18:02I don't know. I have like a rough idea,
18:04but don't know how it's going to sit in
18:05here. So, let me just think, and I will
18:07be back. All right, so I know I said I
18:09was going to go and brainstorm my
18:10entrance, but I kind of had an epiphany.
18:12What if instead, we keep the entrance
18:14kind of lame, and instead, we make the
18:16interior like beautiful? So, then like
18:18you would like walk up to it, think it's
18:20nothing, you think it's just like a
18:21crappy little base how it is, but then I
18:23want to make like a tunnel downwards
18:25into the actual base, and have it be
18:26like massive. The thing is, we could
18:28start digging that tunnel right now, but
18:30we only have iron, meaning it's going to
18:32take forever. So, I think instead, we go
18:34on a mining trip right now, and get
18:35ourselves some diamonds, cuz in a world
18:37like this, I really don't think it's
18:39going to be all that hard. So, let's go
18:40do that. Let me make sure we have all
18:42the food we cooked. Yep, okay. Let's do
18:44this thing. Come on. Nope, nope, excuse

18:57I'm kind of excited, but this should
18:58help for a long mining trip, so.
19:03All right, we are already down to eight
19:06cob left, so food is still a major
19:08problem. We really need to figure that
19:10out. I might try and just build a
19:13massive farm as soon as possible once we
19:15start building the base because we are
19:17just so down bad. It's actually
19:19terrible. I don't even know how does a
19:21bundle work? Can hold a mixed stack of
19:24items. Okay, wait. So I can Oh.
19:27Okay, well, we have a whopping two
19:29pieces of cod left. So our trip's kind
19:32of close to being over and we didn't
19:34even make it to the mine shaft, but we
19:36do have 24 diamonds. So I think we
19:37should be able to get 27, which is a
19:39full set of armor, I think. Oh, hold on.
19:42Before we do anything else, I'm going to
19:43chop down this dark oak tree cuz we do
19:45need to keep stacking this up.
19:50The moment of truth. How many saplings
19:52did we get? Oh, no. We actually
19:55Okay, this is not ideal. We actually are
19:57net down one sapling after that tree,
20:00which actually sucks. Dude, I should
20:01have got way more when we were at the
20:03dark oak forest. That was kind of dumb.
20:05Okay, so overall for the mining trip,
20:06pretty good. Our biggest grab was a
20:08bunch of lapis. We got over four stacks
20:10of that. We got 27 diamonds. So actually
20:12that is the perfect amount. I did not
20:14realize we got that amount. So let's see
20:16if my math was right real quick. Okay,
20:18here we go. Diamond chest plate, diamond
20:20pantalones. Yep, I am bilingual, fun
20:22fact, but not actually. And my math was
20:25wrong. 27 though is actually even better
20:27cuz that lets us make a diamond pick on
20:30top of the full armor. So take all this

20:51start the staircase. So I'll be 100%
20:54honest, I do not have a set plan for the
20:55staircase, but my idea with it is to
20:57have it kind of be almost like a cave
20:59within a cave, which is kind of weird,
21:01right? It's like cave inception. So
21:02starting off, I'm just going to build
21:03obviously the basic staircase down.
21:10So, I'm thinking this should be about
21:13long enough. Again, it doesn't need to
21:14be super long. Well, I mean, some things
21:16are better long, but you know, you wait

21:20I think we need to make it one higher.
21:24Before I try and make it look all
21:26pretty, let's make it functional. So,
21:27I'm going to make some ugly cobblestone
21:30stairs. We will fix this up later, but
21:32again, I just think to start, we need to
21:34make it functional. Um except instead of
21:36using cobblestone, why would I not use
21:38oak? At least that'll look decent to
21:39start.
21:44Now that we have this, I feel like
21:46before I can make any progress, I'm
21:48going to need to make the cave part, and
21:51I think to do that, I need to make this
21:52about two blocks higher just so I'm not
21:54cramped.

22:02have some more space to build. I think
22:04I'm also actually going to push this
22:05back like two blocks. So, I'm going to
22:07do that real quick. And also, what I'm
22:08going to do is make ourselves a bed
22:10finally. We haven't had a bed this whole
22:12time. I have just been counting the days
22:14every 10 minutes like normal because
22:16that is the length of a Minecraft day,
22:17but now we can actually sleep.

23:07etc., etc. Let's just get kind of
23:09primitive with it first and then we'll
23:10kind of shape it like it's a piece of
23:13clay is kind of my thought process, so.
23:15So, I know what you're thinking, dude,

23:19got to You got to trust the process.
23:20We're going to figure this thing out.
23:22The way we're going to have to do this,
23:23it's going to be a lot of slab work
23:25because I don't want it I took out this
23:27top one, but this obviously looks lame
23:29if it's just flat, but I think if we do
23:31a slab here instead, that could be good.
23:33So, I think to start off, let's just
23:35make a dome.
23:38We have the general shape, so now I need
23:40to make a bunch of slabs. And then now
23:42we just start kind of messing with this
23:43thing until it looks kind of good.
23:48Okay, so this right here is kind of what
23:51we're working with for the cave
23:52entrance. Look, I know it doesn't look
23:53great, okay? I'll be the first to admit
23:55it, but you know, we walk in here, oh my
23:58god, it's a cave inside a weird room.
24:00Okay, that's good enough. I might try
24:02and spice this up. Obviously again, I'm
24:03going to mix up the blocks. I think
24:05that's a big problem right now is it's
24:06all this ugly cobblestone. Then for the
24:08interior here, I think if we just do
24:11something like this, just to kind of
24:13like point the cave downwards toward our
24:15actual mine, I think that'll be perfect.
24:17So, let's just finish doing that. And
24:18look at this, it's kind of like an
24:20entrance. I think too, we can kind of
24:21fix up the inside a little bit as well.
24:24And boom, okay. Now we kind of have our
24:26big staircase down. So, I think for now
24:28we kind of just need to start digging
24:29out a big room. But yeah, so the
24:32question now is what do we want to do
24:34for the entrance? I think, you know, I'm
24:36not going to overcomplicate it. I'm just
24:37going to do something simple with some
24:39like wood stairs to like kind of frame
24:41it up and then that's going to be it and
24:42then we'll actually get into the main
24:44base.
24:45Okay, like literally something as simple
24:47as this. I think again, obviously it's
24:49really simple, but I think it just looks
24:51kind of clean. So, we're going to kind
24:53of run with this. So again, this is the
24:54entrance, so now we are digging into
24:57what will actually be the room and I
24:59kind of want to hop on the bandwagon.
25:01I'll be completely honest. I've seen it
25:02in other people's thumbnails and I think
25:04it looks so cool. I want to make like a
25:06double decker room. So, we're going to
25:07have like a it's going to be two stories
25:09pretty much but like in a open room
25:12area. Again, totally not my original
25:13idea. I will be completely honest. I
25:15just want to you know, try my hand at it
25:17cuz it looks really cool. Look, I know

26:39want to make a really big and bougie one
26:41later. So, I'm just going to take the

26:45really just need to kill stuff for XP.

30:24then we'll dig down in the middle, and
30:26then that'll be like another section. I
30:28think that'll work. I don't know how
30:30wide I would have make this, so I'm just
30:31going to kind of start mining, and uh
30:33yeah. Oh my goodness, efficiency four is
30:35just heavenly. We're going to need a
30:37shovel though, hold on. All right, there
30:38we go. We are I'm much perfectly set. Do
30:41we not have a diamond axe yet? I feel
30:42like we need to make one just so we can
30:45have the full set of diamond tools.

30:48milestone in any vanilla Minecraft

31:13to lie because we have just ran out of
31:16undergroundness to dig in. So, we're

31:25stone wall and then we'll fix it and
31:27make it look prettier later, but hey,
31:29you know what actually could be kind of
31:30interesting? I think if we put like a
31:32window out on this side, it could be

31:40we're going to dig out this whole center
31:41section and then dig down quite a bit.

32:11and as you can see, our inventory is
32:13completely packed. So, let's go ahead
32:15and run upstairs, put some stuff away
32:16and then I mean pretty much just come
32:18straight back down, but we will have
32:19plenty of cobblestone whenever we need
32:22it. That is good to know, I guess. All
32:24righty, people. We have cleared out a
32:27big room and well, it doesn't look like
32:30much right now, but again, it's going to
32:32be a nice balcony around the middle and
32:35looking at this, I almost feel like it
32:36should be bigger. Alrighty, well, here
32:38we go. I think I've looked at it and I
32:40want to extend it six blocks this way
32:43because if we do that, this will be like
32:45the base floor space, which I think is a
32:46decent size. And then we'll have the
32:48balcony portion, so there's a lot more
32:50mining ahead of me, but again, I think
32:52it will be so worth it. Okay, well, we
32:54got our big room completely dug out. For
32:56the amount of effort, it doesn't feel
32:58that big. I'm not going to lie, but
32:59that's okay. Now we get to start mining
33:01out the main portion of the base. Again,
33:03this three-wide little lane we're making
33:06is going to be like balcony around a
33:08center area.
33:13We have officially at least walled off,
33:16or I guess made our flooring. Now we
33:18just have to actually empty out all the
33:20water. Hopefully, this is the last day
33:23of doing this just so exhilarating stuff
33:27we've been doing. Yeah, hopefully it's
33:28the last day. It might not be because
33:30now I have to break all this after, but
33:32by the end of tomorrow, we should be
33:34done.

33:41the water. Now I have to mine it all.

34:09figure out the happy gas because that's
34:11going to be our best way to move around.

34:17it'll be worth it. I'm not too mad. I'm
34:19just kind of chilling anyways, but yeah,
34:20I promise we will be doing something

34:27mining, and then we can finally start

34:32been building this room.
34:34But to be honest with you, there's only
34:35so many things you can say when you're
34:37just mining a giant empty space like
34:40this. So, yeah. Okay, we did it. We did
34:43it. We have a big open rectangle, which
34:47I can't believe how much effort this
34:48took for what feels like I don't know.
34:50This doesn't feel like that big. I mean,
34:51it's pretty big. Well, before I do
34:53anything else, let me just throw a
34:54couple torches down here so we don't get
34:57any surprise mobs. And then now I want
34:59to go up and make a blast furnace. The
35:02reason I want to make this now is cuz I
35:03want to start smelting down everything
35:05we have while we're building. Okay, here
35:07we go. So, we throw that in there. We
35:09need the furnace that's sitting in here.
35:11And then we slap this all together and
35:13boom, we have a blast furnace. All
35:15right, slap the coal in. We will slap in
35:17the iron and let this start to cook. We
35:20actually don't have as much as I
35:21thought. We only have Well, I guess we
35:23have a decent bit of copper, but
35:24shouldn't take too too long. And now we
35:26have to do the hard part of actually
35:28building. I've done the mindless part,
35:30okay? I've been a grunt just mining, and
35:32now we actually have to, you know, do
35:33the whole building thing. I think step
35:35one, I just want to get in just the base
35:38wood, okay? And then we're going to kind
35:40of zhuzh it up as we go. Wouldn't be me
35:42if I wasn't switching plans on a dime. I
35:44know I said I was going to start
35:45building, but I'm just going to chop
35:46some trees because we are going to need
35:48a lot of wood, I'm sure, for this build.

36:09then we'll do a kind of border with

36:14dark oak if I'm being honest, but as
36:15like the border, I think it would look
36:16cool. So, that is the plan.

36:26know what you're thinking. All this work
36:28and this looks awful. And I would say,
36:30yeah, you're right, but you just We got
36:32to get the base stuff in and then, you
36:34know, like I said, we'll shush it up for
36:36whatever that word is. We're going to do
36:38exactly that. So, I'm thinking for this
36:41inner section, instead of just doing
36:42planks, I think we should do stripped
36:45dark oak logs.

36:54moving forward, I think we just need to
36:57put in these little corners here so it
36:59actually stands up. And then in between
37:01the corners, I want to have like mini
37:03archways to kind of act as support beams
37:05for the build. I think they'll look
37:06really good. So, well, I'm actually out
37:09of dark oak again. So, I'm going to go
37:11cut another one.

37:21just want to do the upper like border
37:24here and then, like I said, nether time.

38:41a full day just to get prepped for the

39:22replicated our fake cave at our base.
39:25This is about the level of quality it's
39:27built in. So, we have a second cave

39:34awesome. I'm just looking around. It's
39:35another fortress. Dude, it's right
39:37there. This is actually a great spot. Do

39:46feel like my attack range feels really
39:48low. I don't know if an RL Craft
39:49whatever I was using has like way
39:50longer, this feels like I'm

40:42it. And there's a spawner though. This
40:44honestly might be worse only because
40:46we're going to be taking a lot more
40:47damage probably which means we're going
40:49to be burning through a lot more food.
40:50But I'll camp this for a little bit.
40:51We'll get like I don't realistically we
40:53probably don't need more than like 20.
40:54So I'll just sit here the rest of the
40:56day until we get 20 and then we'll move

41:51chowing down on some rotten flesh until
41:53we were full health again. Well, now
41:54that we at least have some health we
41:56obviously still don't have food. So I
41:58think the first thing I want to put in
41:59is the circular farm in the middle of
42:02the build. It's going to look so good.
42:03Okay. All right, well this is going to
42:05be the central part of the water and now
42:08we just do a circle. So let's make it a
42:10little bit more entertaining and
42:11efficient by doing a replay mod. So,
42:13this farm is super simple. All we did
42:15was use oak logs and oak slabs for the
42:16circle, dug out the middle, filled in
42:18the dirt, and then a section of soul
42:20sand for some nether wart, and then just
42:21filled in the irrigation system, and
42:23then it was all already done.
42:25Well, would you look at this? We have
42:26ourselves a circle, and it's going to be

42:31as you can see, once again, I am down
42:33bad for food. So, before we do anything
42:36else, I'm going to take some of these
42:37bones and run up to our wheat farm so we
42:39can bone meal a bunch of it cuz boy, do
42:41we need food.
42:45And we'll take all the wheat, turn it
42:46into bread, and we're back up to 17
42:49bread. It's still not great cuz now
42:52we're down to 14, but it's at least
42:54something. Let's go ahead, grab our iron
42:55hoe here, and we will go hoe it up down
42:58here.
43:01Okay, now that we have our dirt properly
43:04hoed, uh but now we can actually plant
43:06the crops, so that's good. That's going
43:07to be glowstone, by the way, with like a
43:09nice little wood cap on it. It's going
43:11to look really nice, but for now, we got
43:14poverty glowstone there, so that's okay.
43:16Uh obviously, right now the farm looks
43:17pretty simple, but I'm telling you, once
43:19it is completely put in and has
43:21everything around it, oh my goodness,
43:23it's going to look so good. But for now,
43:26since, you know, we don't have all the
43:28crops we need, I'm just going to go
43:29ahead and plant all the seeds we can,
43:32and then we can obviously switch it out
43:33later. I think the next step in our
43:35journey is going to be to go get a dried
43:37ghast so we can unlock the happy ghast
43:39cuz I really want to fly on one of those
43:41things. They look so cute, so and I
43:43guess let's head back to the nether. You
43:45can technically craft them with ghast
43:46tears, but I don't want to have to go
43:48get eight, so instead, I'm just going to
43:49go find one by a fossil, hopefully. All
43:51righty, well, I think the best play,
43:53dude, I'm just going to get over here
43:55again, and we are just going to mine in
43:57a straight line through netherrack and
43:58just pray we hit a good opening. Hold

44:02have got lucky. I see lots of fossils.

44:42And then, look at that. Our little torch
44:44actually works. We can actually see
44:46where we need to go. This was a good
44:47little simple trip. I think before we
44:49leave, too, I should actually get a
44:51little bit of glowstone just so I don't
44:53have to come back later. Holy, we have
44:55finally made it to the glowstone. This
44:57took actually I think like 4 minutes
45:01just to literally get from down there.
45:03Yeah, man. It was It was a process
45:05getting up here, but we're finally here.
45:08Beautiful. We get enough for eight
45:10pieces of glowstone. That's nowhere near
45:12enough, but it's good enough for now. We
45:14actually use a lot of glowstone for the
45:15build I want to do, so. And then, at the
45:17start of tomorrow, I think we'll start
45:19hydrating our ghast here, which means we
45:21will have a flying pet ghast pretty
45:23soon. That is going to be so fun. Okay,
45:25well, before we do anything else, we are
45:28going to hydrate our little ghast friend
45:30here. I've never done this before, so
45:32I'm a little bit curious exactly how it
45:35goes. I'm pretty sure I'm going to make
45:36him a little pool cuz I want to be nice
45:38to him. And then, I think we just kind
45:39of slap him in there. While we're
45:41waiting on that, we'll go inside of our
45:43beautiful cave inside of a cave and put
45:46in a little storage and like smelting
45:48area here I think would be money. So,
45:50we're going to do that. For that, we're
45:52going to need quite a bit of wood, which
45:55we don't have a ton. So, I actually know
45:56I'm going to spend a little bit of time
45:58just chopping all the trees around her
46:00house.
46:05Okay, so step one in putting in our
46:08little storage and furnace area is just
46:10going to be simply putting in these
46:12pillars cuz I kind of want it to frame
46:14up the storage and furnaces. So yeah,
46:18nothing too crazy here. It just really
46:19kind of works perfectly for what I want
46:22to do which you're about to see. What I
46:24really like about the build idea that I
46:26have here is first it's really simple
46:28but I think it looks really clean. This
46:31alone I think already looks pretty good
46:32but once we get some slabs across the
46:34top here and then some trapdoors and all
46:36that good stuff it looks even better. So
46:38let's just keep it pushing and I promise
46:41you it's going to look so clean. So now
46:42we just toss this in here and then we
46:45get some trapdoors cooking
46:48and boom with some basic blocks we have
46:50this nice little frame in here and then
46:52we're going to put some glowing item
46:53frames in the middle with torches and
46:55then obviously the chests are going to
46:57be here, furnaces here. Now that that
46:58part's done we're going to use a bunch
47:00of this dark oak cuz it is what we have
47:01most of and we're going to start filling
47:03in some chests here. Okay, now I do want
47:05these chests underlit so or backlit I
47:08guess I should say. So I'm going to do
47:09some glowstone there and then just some
47:11regular oak in the back so you really
47:14won't even see that. And now we can
47:16start taking our chests and we're going
47:18to put them in kind of sideways like
47:19this.
47:21All right, so looking at this you'd be
47:23probably wondering what are we going to
47:25do about the roof cuz you don't want
47:27this ugly little gap. Using stairs as
47:30the little roof here and now we got a
47:31solid roof that lets us open the chest.
47:34I love how they let you do that cuz that
47:36is just so nice. Okay, and then for the
47:38walls here we're just going to do more
47:41of the stripped dark oak. Okay, slap
47:45this in and then we'll strip these and
47:49there we go. Okay, we finally have the
47:51wall in. Now if we look at this it's
47:53going to be nice and pretty back there
47:55and then with some more logs this way.
47:58Boom, it is absolutely perfect. We love
48:01it. We love it. Now, the last thing we
48:02need is to get the item frames to put in
48:05front of this, and then also here, so it
48:06can act as like a little torch holder.
48:08So, we either need to go kill a bunch of
48:09zombies, or hopefully we have a decent
48:12bit of leather. We have a tiny bit, but
48:14not much. Okay, so we have a whopping
48:16six leather total, and we need at least
48:18eight for the chests, and then 1 2 3 for
48:21the side of the pillar. So, we need
48:22actually quite a bit of leather. So,
48:24let's go out and hopefully find some
48:26down here. Here we go. Finally getting
48:28some zombies. Ew, there's a baby zombie
48:30though. Gross, go away. Go away. Okay,
48:32we just killed three. We're up to 16
48:34leather. I don't know how many we just
48:35had, but we just got a boatload of
48:37leather, man. I love looting three. And
48:40we have a free glow squid right here.

49:12perfect spot because it gives him some
49:14space to grow and get bigger, but he's
49:17also like right next to our base. So,

49:22off, we are just [music] going to be
49:24putting in some glorious item frames
49:27here. And now that we have all these
49:29wrapped, we'll just slap in the ink
49:31sacks with them, and do some of this.
49:34Nothing crazy, but I think it looks
49:36pretty good like that. So, I'm going to
49:38do it just like that for all of these.
49:40And boom, okay. Let's see what this is
49:41looking like from a distance. We did
49:43take a screenshot on accident cuz we're
49:45good at this game. I like it. Okay, and
49:46obviously these are going to have actual
49:48items labeling them. Okay, now I I to do
49:50the fun part of sorting everything,
49:52which is going to take at least all of
49:54today and maybe some of tomorrow. So,
49:56these next day or two are probably going
49:58to go by pretty quick. Okay, this is
50:00taking us two full days, but I think it
50:03turned out really good. Obviously, this
50:05is just the labeling. I think it just
50:07looks so clean for some reason. We got
50:09our valuables here, we got mob drops
50:11here, we got food, tools, and armor in
50:13there, wood, anything we will plant,
50:17cobblestone or cobblestone adjacent
50:19things, and then kind of a
50:20miscellaneous. And yeah, honestly, it
50:22wasn't that bad. That is actually one of
50:24the better sorting sessions I think I've
50:25ever had, which is saying a lot because
50:27I do not like sorting at all. So, yeah,
50:30I think we're pretty much chilling here.
50:34And then next up, we just need to put in
50:35the furnaces and smokers. So, we're
50:38going to start off by doing that today.
50:41And to do that, we also need to do some
50:43of this, do our good old strip, and we
50:46can put these two in right there. And
50:48then lastly, we just need to start
50:50smelting down some of the stone. All
50:51right, so I'm going to start smelting
50:52this down, and then we will re-smelt the
50:54stone, and [music] then once we're done
50:55with that, we can make all our blast
50:57furnaces. Okay, and now we make
50:59ourselves a little blast furnace. And
51:02now we got two of these, so we'll slap
51:04these right there. And just like this,
51:06we have a little wall of furnaces. And
51:08once these are all lit, it's going to
51:10look so nice. And next up, I think I'm
51:13going to upgrade a lot of the farm up to
51:15lanterns cuz right now, as you can see,
51:17it's not all growing, which is not
51:19ideal. So, and let's see, can I remember
51:21how to make a lantern? I'm assuming it's
51:23like this. Oh god. Oh, it's even easier
51:26than I thought. Okay, so we're just
51:28going to make Well, I guess I'll start
51:30with eight. All right, now that we got
51:32these lanterns, we just slap them in on
51:35each one of these logs here. And I think
51:38obviously, we are going to need a few
51:40more, but I think this really, I don't
51:42know why, lanterns just make it so much
51:44more cozier than torches. And I will
51:47never understand why, but it's not even
51:49close to me. So, let's finish out
51:50putting these in real quick. Beautiful.
51:52Now, it is so much brighter in here.
51:54It's actually so nice. Then, for the
51:56very last touch, we're going to go with
51:58a piece of glowstone right in the middle
52:01here. But, with that, I think the farm
52:03is almost done. Again, it's not too
52:06insane, but I think it looks clean. So,
52:08the very last thing I do want to add,
52:09again, is just some little fence gates
52:12here. So, let's do that real quick.

52:16slap them all right in here.
52:20Are these fences honestly completely
52:22pointless? Kind of, because
52:24realistically, am I ever going to use
52:25them? Probably not that often. I'll
52:26probably just walk right over, but I

52:30completes it. I would like to put
52:31something on these little slab border
52:34here, but I just don't really know what
52:35to do. So, I'm going to leave it for
52:37now. I think it's already coming along
52:39pretty good, dude. Once all these little
52:41sections are filled in with this sort of
52:43compartment design we have here and then
52:45we have a massive nether portal in the
52:47center of the room. I think it's just
52:48going to look sweet. And this honestly,
52:50too, the roof and the walling is still
52:52so ugly that once we fill that in,
52:54that's going to look good, man. I am
52:56excited. Let's go check on our little
52:58ghast friend real quick, cuz I think at
53:00this point, he should be thrown up,

56:41warped biome instead because I think
56:43that spawns way more Enderman. I

1:09:07hopefully get some quick diamonds here.

1:09:10Well, literally the only thing I plan on
1:09:12mining on this trip are diamonds. So, my
1:09:16goal by the end of the day I think would
1:09:18be to get a stack. So, it might be kind
1:09:20of tight, but I think if we get lucky,
1:09:22man, it's possible.

1:09:44diamonds that literally only took us one
1:09:47day to get, dude. Fortune, I just can't.

1:09:52So, I think today the main goal is
1:09:53really just to do some enchanting. So,
1:09:56I'm going to make some fresh booties and
1:09:58a fresh chestplate. Okay, well, I spent
1:10:01way too many diamonds. We have so many
1:10:02different options to enchant. I made two
1:10:04extra swords, one extra axe, and then
1:10:07I'm just bringing these broken bows cuz
1:10:09we can just combine it with this one.
1:10:10So, yeah, we have 67 levels still, which
1:10:12is just the perfect number, of course.
1:10:15And let's see what we can get. All
1:10:17right, the first enchant we are going to
1:10:18take is this efficiency four, which
1:10:20comes with unbreaking three. So, we get
1:10:22a big upgrade on our axe here. So,
1:10:24already a good start. just looking for
1:10:27some protection four, which we're not
1:10:29seeing, or sharpness four we'll take.
1:10:30Okay, with this we don't want knockback.
1:10:33I hate knockback. Nice, dude. That is
1:10:34the perfect enchant. Sharpness four,
1:10:36unbreaking three, and then we'll have
1:10:37looting three as well. Ooh, wait a
1:10:40second. Feather falling four I'm going
1:10:41to take for sure. And it does not come
1:10:43with anything else, but that's fine.
1:10:44Take this protection three on the helmet
1:10:46and hopefully it just came with
1:10:47unbreaking. It didn't, but we got
1:10:49respiration. So, honestly not bad. And
1:10:51it has mending, so I don't think it's
1:10:52ever going to break. So, that should be
1:10:54fine. And very lastly, again, we just
1:10:56want some protection for on our boots
1:10:59and chest plate, which we are not
1:11:00seeing. That kind of sucks. There's no
1:11:02good bow and chance, so I'm going to
1:11:03burn it on this broken one. Bow showing
1:11:06power four, so we could go for power
1:11:08five. Let's check the chest plate and
1:11:10okay, good. We get protection four.
1:11:12Taking that and we get unbreaking three.
1:11:14Let's go. That's huge. Okay, well, there
1:11:16are a few enchants I would like to get,
1:11:18but before we keep enchanting, I'm going
1:11:20to go ahead and combine everything just
1:11:21to make sure we have enough levels to
1:11:23combine everything because that would
1:11:25suck if we did not. Let's go ahead, grab
1:11:27our anvil that is chipped, so hopefully
1:11:30it lasts this whole time. And then we'll
1:11:31combine these two. Okay, on the helmet
1:11:33now, we got protection four, respiration
1:11:35three, and mending. Again, I would love
1:11:36to get unbreaking three, but with
1:11:38mending, I think we'll be okay. And we
1:11:40got our little sword here, which is
1:11:42going to cost us another 12 levels,
1:11:45which is getting a little expensive, but
1:11:47sharpness four, looting three,
1:11:48unbreaking three, that is a perfect
1:11:49sword almost. Oh, and I think it's all
1:11:51the combining we need to do for now. And
1:11:53then we have 31 levels. Oh, boy. You
1:11:56know, it would have been smarter to
1:11:57actually wait to combine, but that's
1:11:59okay. But now we get one more chance to
1:12:01enchant. So, let's make a another fresh
1:12:04bow, see if we can find an infinity.
1:12:06Okay, there's unbreaking three. So, we
1:12:08have it on the boots for sure, so that's
1:12:09a win. Then we get flame on the bow,
1:12:11which we are not going to take. So,
1:12:13we're going to kind of have some funky
1:12:15boots here. It's going to be fire
1:12:17protection three, feather falling, depth
1:12:18strider, and unbreaking three. I I'll
1:12:21take it. I don't know. Sure, we some
1:12:23protection from fire, why not? Now our
1:12:25armor, protection four, respiration
1:12:27three, mending, protection four, and
1:12:28unbreaking three, protection four,
1:12:30unbreaking three, mending on the pants.
1:12:32And then lastly, our funky little boots
1:12:34here. Then of course, we got a almost
1:12:37perfect sword, a perfect axe, and then a
1:12:39perfect pickaxe. Our bow does suck
1:12:41still. So, the rest of today I'm just
1:12:43going to do some light sorting and then
1:12:44tomorrow, I actually don't know what
1:12:46we're going to do yet. I think some sort
1:12:48of building, so I'm pretty excited for
1:12:50that. But overall, very successful day.
1:12:52I'm very happy. Alrighty, we get to go
1:12:55back to building. I'm excited and I
1:12:57think the first thing I want to start
1:12:59with is going to be the most basic, but
1:13:00I think it's going to do a lot and it's
1:13:02just filling in the floor because the
1:13:04stone is just is so ugly, man. It really
1:13:08is. So, I think what the move is going
1:13:10to be. Originally, I was going to run
1:13:12dark oak, but now we actually have
1:13:14access to some spruce saplings. So, I'm
1:13:18going to grab all our bones and we are
1:13:19going to bone meal some spruce trees and
1:13:22oh my god, we get to build with spruce
1:13:24now. I'm excited. But yeah, that is the
1:13:25plan. I think to make this a little bit
1:13:27easier, I'm just going to grow some of
1:13:29the mega spruce trees because well,
1:13:32they're a lot bigger. Our baby ghast, I
1:13:34don't know if it's going to show up in
1:13:35the replay mod shot that I got, but he
1:13:37did finish up his hydrating. So, let's
1:13:40go ahead. We're going to make him
1:13:42neighbors with the other big ghast we
1:13:44have. Nice. They make such cute sounds,
1:13:46too. Look at this little guy. Oh, he's
1:13:48so adorable. I don't know what his
1:13:51name's going to be yet. I'll figure that
1:13:52out later, but more importantly right
1:13:54now, it's floor time, which means
1:13:57probably going to be another replay mod
1:13:58to be completely honest. So, I'm going
1:14:00to just go through the game plan and
1:14:03then yeah, I guess I'll show you guys
1:14:04what we're doing. So, game plan pretty
1:14:05much is just going to be obviously break
1:14:07out all the ugly stone and then we are
1:14:09going to be using just spruce wood and
1:14:11stairs and we're going to make a cool
1:14:13design inside the floor. It's going to
1:14:15look really good. I'm excited. And
1:14:17actually, before we do that, we're going
1:14:19to plant some beetroot just to add
1:14:21[music] some more color and I think I'm
1:14:23going to do it diagonally from the
1:14:25nether wart cuz I feel like that'll look
1:14:27the best. So, that's also pretty
1:14:28exciting. I've been wanting to get a
1:14:30different crop in here. I was hoping
1:14:31we'd get like carrots or potatoes, but
1:14:33we have not been lucky yet and we've
1:14:35killed quite a few zombies this video.
1:14:37So, we'll let that start growing and
1:14:39then yeah, I guess let's start on the
1:14:40floor. Okay, well, since I'm kind of
1:14:42stupid, I forgot to actually get the
1:14:44replay shot, which was going to be all
1:14:46of day 57 with some post commentary. So,
1:14:48let's just move on to day 58. Luckily,
1:14:50it's just putting in a floor, so it's
1:14:51not that exciting. But, yeah, my bad.
1:14:53Alrighty, so we got the first little bit
1:14:55of our stair flooring in. And if you can
1:14:58kind of get the vibe, it just gives it a
1:14:59little bit more depth. So, we're going
1:15:00to kind of just keep pushing out this
1:15:02circular design with it. And it's just
1:15:05going to make this really boring floor
1:15:07much more dynamic. Which, it's such a
1:15:09simple way to fix it, but I mean, just
1:15:11looking at it, it makes such a big
1:15:13difference. This is such a good way to
1:15:14make a boring floor good. So, yeah, I'm
1:15:16going to keep doing that. And once
1:15:17again, enjoy a little replay mod. Yeah,
1:15:20so I also didn't record this one. I wish
1:15:22I could say it was like corrupted, but
1:15:23genuinely, it was me being stupid not
1:15:25pressing record for the replay mod. And
1:15:28the worst part is that I did at least
1:15:30remember to stop my basic recording. So,

1:15:34luckily, it's just me putting in stairs
1:15:35into the floor, so it's not that crazy.

1:15:44too crazy, but I really like how it just
1:15:46gives it a little bit of depth. And I
1:15:48think next up, I do want to try and make

1:15:54right now we have a floating bed, which,
1:15:56well, it's not the most comfy thing. I'm
1:15:57not going to lie. So, that's the plan.
1:15:59I'm going to go ahead again and just fix
1:16:00up all these little sneaky stone spots.

1:16:05we need to pick a spot for the cubby.
1:16:07And I'm thinking we should put it on the
1:16:10opposite side. So, I don't want
1:16:12everything to be on the same side. I
1:16:13feel like that would be I don't want to

1:16:16spread the build out enough. So, yeah, I
1:16:18think we're going to go and match the
1:16:20width of one of these on this side. And
1:16:23then we will make a little bedroom,
1:16:24which I don't even know what that's
1:16:26going to look like because, well, I
1:16:27don't know. I haven't really planned
1:16:28this out yet. This is kind of a last
1:16:30second idea, but I think it's a good
1:16:31one. I guess maybe, you know what?
1:16:33Instead of making it the same size as
1:16:34just one of these, cuz that's going to
1:16:35be really tight, we'll just make it
1:16:37pretty big like this. And then now we'll
1:16:40have this entire space to put a room in.
1:16:42And then I'm actually really excited. I
1:16:43don't know why. I feel like this is
1:16:44going to look so good once we're done.
1:16:46So, let's see if we can push this back
1:16:48maybe like four blocks. I think is all

1:17:38more back is because now we have an odd
1:17:40number here, so we can center stuff on

1:17:44thing is figuring out the wall. Cuz I'm
1:17:46not really worried about putting in like
1:17:47the actual bedroom portion. That
1:17:48shouldn't be that hard, but the wall on
1:17:50the back here, I think we need to do
1:17:52something somewhat interesting and I
1:17:54don't really know what. All right, so
1:17:56here's my idea. I have been mumbling a
1:17:58lot, so say thank you to my editor for
1:18:01you know, sifting through this. But what
1:18:02I'm thinking is if I push this one more
1:18:04back, it's still going to line up with
1:18:06this because I'm going to have lights in
1:18:08these holes and then there's going to be
1:18:09like you know, something to cover these
1:18:11blocks as well. So, it's still going to

1:18:16and I think redstone lamps here would
1:18:18look really good too. So, I'm actually
1:18:19going to punch these out two more each
1:18:21and then we'll go pick up some redstone.

1:18:41redstone lamps. So, we will at least set
1:18:43up the lamps we want right now. So, I go
1:18:46slap down all these redstone torches,
1:18:48throw all the lamps down we have, and
1:18:49then tomorrow we will be off to the
1:18:52nether. By the way, too, look at the red
1:18:54hue this has. This is getting a little

1:18:59it, but we'll just slap these down. You

1:22:46of let us frame up the room a little bit

1:22:54separates. Actually, I want it the other
1:22:56way, but it'll kind of separate like
1:22:58where the room starts. But yeah, so like

1:28:53I'm literally just going to drop them
1:28:56inside their boats through the top here.
1:28:58Well, I just realized I don't have a
1:28:59single book to my name so we can't
1:29:01actually make the lectern to make a
1:29:03librarian. So I'm going to run out to
1:29:05our sugarcane farm that up real quick.

1:29:15now we can just open our cubby and boom

1:29:26going to lie I don't even know if we are
1:29:27going to trade that much. I just really
1:29:29want to have villagers in here. I like I
1:29:31I don't know why. So we are going to get

1:29:35the two cubbies so now let's go up here.
1:29:37We will mine out sinkhole of a drop them
1:29:40in. We have made it. It is much deeper
1:29:42than I thought. It's actually I mean I
1:29:44guess it makes sense cuz it's like a dug
1:29:45out room but now we'll just fall down,

1:29:57to actually breed so we're going to have

1:30:13redstone and we got 19 diamonds as a
1:30:15bonus. So now we're almost up to a stack

1:30:19three beds. We got plenty of bread.
1:30:20Again, I was going to use potatoes
1:30:22yesterday but then I realized that it is
1:30:24way less bread to use and we have a ton
1:30:25of wheat. So we might as well and we'll
1:30:27make a mega bed here and then if I give
1:30:30you each what is it? Three pieces of
1:30:32bread I think. Okay, you guys do your
1:30:33thing. I don't want to watch. Okay, that
1:30:35is the uh wrong industry for me. So I
1:30:37will leave you to it and I think it's
1:30:39actually pretty quick though. So let's

1:31:18pretty hard to get let alone possibly
1:31:20impossible for some of the stuff. I

1:31:23that but in a world like this I really
1:31:25have no idea. So for starters we got the
1:31:27mason here. This guy we can get
1:31:28everything from but he kind of gives us
1:31:30access to a couple weird blocks. Like I
1:31:32know we can get quartz from him. We can
1:31:34get that weird like flooring block or
1:31:36whatever. You know what I'm talking
1:31:37about? It's like the really colorful
1:31:38blocks. We can get that from him as
1:31:39well. And then next up we are going to
1:31:41make a loom which is one probably no one
1:31:44ever makes and I honestly don't think
1:31:45I've ever made it but this will just
1:31:47give us access to a bunch of different
1:31:49dyes, paintings, even beds, too, if we
1:31:51don't want to go out and hunt spiders.
1:31:52So I think it's the right move and now
1:31:54in terms of our little villager it's not
1:31:57a trading hall but it's a little
1:31:58villager den here. We kind of just have
1:32:01to wait until we can breed them more. So
1:32:02let's go to bed and then tomorrow I'm
1:32:03going to see if they will breed again.

1:32:07if our villagers will get active once
1:32:10again. So, we need them to do this I
1:32:11think a total of two more times. Okay.

1:32:46going to be a pretty big portal, by the
1:32:49way. I've never actually built one this

1:33:01We are going to need a boatload of
1:33:04crimson wood cuz this is what it's
1:33:06mainly made out of. But, my thought
1:33:07process when I was designing it was I
1:33:09wanted it to have some nether elements.

1:33:12crimson wood. It is all planks with a
1:33:15bit of glowstone mixed in, but dude, I
1:33:17think it looks really good. Yeah,
1:33:18anyways, let's just get this thing

1:33:21pillar, kind of what it's going to look
1:33:22like. And then obviously we're going to
1:33:23replicate that. And then there's going
1:33:25to be a cool little arch across the top.
1:33:28Just so you can kind of get the vibe of
1:33:29what we're doing. All righty. So, there
1:33:31is the portal frame. And I know what
1:33:33you're thinking right now. Dude, what is
1:33:35that? Like it it looks weird without the
1:33:37portal, but once I get this portal in,
1:33:38ooh my lord, it is going to look good.
1:33:41Let me tell you. Uh that makes sense. We
1:33:43definitely don't have enough obsidian
1:33:45because we have nine. So, I'm going to
1:33:47go out and mine that and then we'll be
1:33:48back to make the portal.

1:36:08going to have to remove our ladder and

1:36:19wood. We got most of it done, but we do
1:36:22need quite a few trapdoors, which
1:36:24obviously is quite a bit of wood. So,
1:36:26I'm going to go cut a bunch of oak trees
1:36:28and then tomorrow we should be able to
1:36:29finish up the base design outline and
1:36:32then
1:36:33I guess it'll go on to game planning
1:36:35that aquarium, I think. Today, we're
1:36:36just going to be adding in all of the
1:36:39trapdoors and then the torches. So,

1:37:26panes, I don't know if it's going to be

1:37:30find out and to do that, we need to go
1:37:32dig a bunch of sand. So, let's go do
1:37:34that.

1:38:54that's also really important since, you
1:38:56know, obviously you're going to be able
1:38:57to see it and I'm an idiot and locked
1:38:59myself in here. So, we'll leave this as

1:39:02plan now. I think it's pretty good and
1:39:05luckily since we are built up against
1:39:07water, I think filling in the aquarium
1:39:09actually isn't going to be the worst
1:39:11thing ever. So, first I'm just going to
1:39:12make an infinite water source and then
1:39:14from here all we have to do is just fill
1:39:16it in from the top here and boom, we
1:39:19already have it filled. I'm not going to
1:39:20close this off yet still cuz obviously
1:39:22we need to put the fish in here and
1:39:23obviously the wall as well. And, you
1:39:26know, now that I think about it, maybe
1:39:27we should have started with the wall,
1:39:28but that's okay. Okay, so this is mainly
1:39:30going to be more redstone lamps and then
1:39:33stone brick walls here. So, the plan
1:39:35with this, we're going to throw these in
1:39:37here and then we are going to go ahead
1:39:40and replace all the cobblestone walling
1:39:42here with these stone walls.
1:39:45And obviously we need to replace that
1:39:46wall and then like the corners and
1:39:48stuff, but this will be at least a good
1:39:50little vision and then obviously we're
1:39:52going to jam this full of fish and it
1:39:54will all look beautiful. Oh, I just had
1:39:56such a good idea and it's going to make
1:39:58this so much more annoying, but I think
1:40:00it's so worth it. Hold on. So obviously
1:40:02we get the light in there, but what if
1:40:04we also throw in regular glowstone to
1:40:07this border? Like just look at this.

1:40:50So we don't even have enough glowstone
1:40:52for the redstone lamps as of now. We
1:40:54need a total of 36.

1:40:59know actually. I mean we do have enough
1:41:01for the redstone lamps, but we are going
1:41:02to need quite a bit more for the actual
1:41:04redstone blocks to power the lamps.

1:41:11I said yesterday we are going to get a
1:41:14bunch of glowstone and as I always say
1:41:16when we get back here, the portal
1:41:18location is so buns, man. It's so bad.

1:43:15especially once we put the water in. So,
1:43:16I like it regardless. Now, I get the fun
1:43:19process of filling this with water.

1:43:24filled for the aquarium. We obviously
1:43:26need to leave these two spots open so we
1:43:28can actually put the fish inside. And
1:43:30now, tomorrow, we get to go fishing.
1:43:32Okay, so I did some very brief research
1:43:35and on bedrock you can use a lead on a
1:43:38glow squid. So I want to see if maybe
1:43:40you can do it on Java. Now the only
1:43:42issue now is actually finding said below
1:43:44squid. Perfect. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
1:43:47okay. Let's see. Moment of truth.

1:44:38look so cool. So unfortunately I guess
1:44:40our glow squid dream is going to have to
1:44:42stay a dream. Uh we'll see. Maybe I mean
1:44:44maybe he won't despawn. I don't know.
1:44:46But the second I think we leave here he
1:44:47will. So I will uh at least get a bunch
1:44:49of tropical fish. I don't think those
1:44:51despawn. And to do that I'm just going
1:44:53to make a boat load of buckets here. We
1:44:56have a whopping 12 which honestly I was
1:44:59kind of hoping for more, but that is
1:45:00fine. All right, and on that note let's
1:45:03go ahead and catch us some fish here. We
1:45:06just pick up a little Oh, and this Oh, I
1:45:08missed again. Buddy. Nice. Okay. We got
1:45:10our first fish. We are a tactical fisher
1:45:13now. That is beautiful.

1:45:21that worries me already because all the
1:45:23cod are just swimming on the floor which
1:45:26is not very visually appealing. That is
1:45:29going to be a problem if that's the
1:45:30case, but that's okay.

1:45:41fish in here now. You would think
1:45:43they're crabs cuz they don't actually
1:45:45swim. They just sit on the floor. Well,

1:45:49some Googling and it makes complete
1:45:50sense why our fishies are just swimming
1:45:52straight to the bottom. It's because
1:45:54they're not actually She's swimming to
1:45:55the bottom. They're getting shoved to
1:45:57the bottom by water source blocks up
1:45:59there that are pushing down cuz the ones
1:46:01in the middle and bottom are not water
1:46:02source blocks. So, as you can see, they
1:46:04kind of swim up and then just get shoved
1:46:06back down. Apparently, you can use sea
1:46:08kelp to turn everything into source
1:46:09blocks as well, which could be the move,
1:46:12but then again, this is all wood. Oh,
1:46:14boy. Okay. Well, what if Hold on. Let's
1:46:16try and turn them into source blocks.
1:46:18So, again, all these top ones are good.
1:46:20So, if we
1:46:21Oh my god. But then this presents the
1:46:23issue, too, of like, how do I know which
1:46:25blocks are source blocks and which
1:46:27blocks aren't? So, I think the plan now,
1:46:28we need to find kelp, right? Cuz I just
1:46:31spent a lot of time trying to water
1:46:33bucket source like by hand and I
1:46:36genuinely have no idea what progress we
1:46:38made cuz I I can't tell. So, I think
1:46:40instead we should use our elytra. And
1:46:42with this, we need to go find ourselves
1:46:43an ocean that has sea kelp in it and
1:46:45just bring that home. We're going to
1:46:47have to replace all the flooring in the
1:46:48aquarium so we can plant the sea kelp
1:46:50and then we're going to have to
1:46:52re-replace the flooring, but that's
1:46:53fine. It is what it is. Or we could just
1:46:55leave the flooring. I don't know. We'll
1:46:56see. But I've not used an elytra in so
1:46:58long. I'm actually kind of excited. So,
1:46:59let's just let's just go, man.

1:48:54that happy ghast army we were talking
1:48:56about earlier. So, my game plan right
1:48:58now, I'm going to go to the nether and
1:48:59try and collect a bunch of the dried
1:49:01ghast. There's 16 total harness colors.
1:49:03I don't know if we're going to be able
1:49:04to get all 16. I don't know if we have
1:49:05access to all the dye colors. So, let's
1:49:07cook up this raw pork chop, and then we
1:49:09will be on our way into the nether. I'm
1:49:11also actually going to go and try and
1:49:12get just a little bit of XP and see if
1:49:14we can get unbreaking three on the
1:49:16elytra. Density four? I don't even know
1:49:18what that is, dude. I'm so out of touch
1:49:20with Minecraft these days. The question
1:49:21is, do we cycle? I'm going to take the
1:49:23unbreaking one. Okay, we have two
1:49:25unbreaking ones, so that is a single
1:49:27unbreaking two. I mean, we could just
1:49:28slowly build our own. Actually, aqua

1:49:55elytra. And we'll grab our anvil here.

1:50:00then throw this on the elytra, and I
1:50:03mean, it's okay. You know what I mean?

1:51:26just going to go down there and hunt a
1:51:27bunch of spiders, but we did find that
1:51:29village earlier, so I'm going to try and
1:51:31head back and see. And the question is,
1:51:34do you guys not have any wool? Oh, no,
1:51:36you're kidding. Oh, here we go. Here's a
1:51:37little bit. I was worried for a second,
1:51:39but I was like, do I swear they have
1:51:40wool. Let's head home. We'll start
1:51:42crafting these harnesses. Okay. All
1:51:44right, the elytra literally has one
1:51:46durability, which is perfect. We can at
1:51:48least keep it as a trophy now. Okay, now
1:51:50we just need to make 15 of these
1:51:52suckers, so let's do this, this, and
1:51:54then this, and boom, there's nine
1:51:57harnesses, and then there is six more.

1:52:02well, we got all the harnesses. Let's go
1:52:03check on our happy gas, and then
1:52:05tomorrow we get to start acquiring all
1:52:0816 different dyes. And luckily, someone
1:52:11on Reddit made a very nice Minecraft dye
1:52:14chart that tells you how to get all the
1:52:16dyes, so that is going to be super
1:52:18helpful. Looking at these guys, is
1:52:19anyone smiling yet? No, they're all
1:52:21still kind of frowning, but we're all
1:52:23still showing green particles, which is
1:52:25good.

1:52:49I didn't need the white dye. Luckily,
1:52:51though, we can use white dye with gray
1:52:53dye to make light gray. You know what?
1:52:55Actually, we're going to need quite a
1:52:57bit of white dye because there's a lot
1:52:58of uh combining of white dye with other
1:53:01stuff. So, let's just make a boatload.
1:53:03Next up, we need some squid ink sacks,
1:53:07which are Don't ask me why I said that
1:53:09like a robot. I don't know, but just We
1:53:11have looting three. I'm assuming we just
1:53:13need to kill one. And I was right.
1:53:15Beautiful.
1:53:18Okay, we're good. Oh my goodness, I
1:53:20looked away for a second. Oh, my stomach
1:53:22dropped. Wow. Okay. All right, we'll
1:53:24make black dye. And with the black dye,
1:53:26we can combine it with a white dye for a
1:53:28gray dye. And then with this gray dye,
1:53:31we can combine this to make a light gray
1:53:33dye. So, now we have a black dye, a gray
1:53:36dye, and then the light gray dye. And
1:53:39actually, since we're already here, we
1:53:41can start
1:53:43redyeing these. It's funny, we're going
1:53:45to go through all this effort, and I
1:53:46think some of these harnesses, like
1:53:48light gray or gray, it's going to look
1:53:49hardly different, but it's necessary.
1:53:51Okay. Look at that. We got five of the
1:53:5316 so far. It's been pretty easy. Except
1:53:56we need brown, which I believe is cocoa
1:53:58beans. And luckily, oh my god, I can't
1:54:00believe we actually picked them up
1:54:02earlier. So, we can just do this. And
1:54:05boom, now we got the brown harness. We
1:54:06have six for 16. Next up, we can use a
1:54:08beetroot for red dye. So, there's
1:54:11harness number seven. Granted, I did not
1:54:14need to do that, I just realized, cuz
1:54:15our guest outside has a red harness, but
1:54:17that's fine. Does a sunflower give me
1:54:18yellow? So, we'll take this yellow, and
1:54:20then we will make yet another red dye.
1:54:22Combine this, now we have an orange dye,
1:54:24and then we combine this, and we have an
1:54:26orange harness. We can do two blue dye.
1:54:29And with one of these, we can make a
1:54:31light blue. Now we got light blue,
1:54:33regular blue. Okay, next up, we have the
1:54:35purple dye, which is just red and blue
1:54:37makes purple. Welcome to the color
1:54:39wheel. Awesome. Okay. Okay, next up, we
1:54:41got pink coming in here. And then with
1:54:44one of these pinks, we actually want to
1:54:45combine that with a purple to make a
1:54:48magenta. And then with that, now we can
1:54:50make more harnesses. So, there's the
1:54:53magenta. Here's the pink. And at this
1:54:55point, we should only be missing two,
1:54:56which are the two greens. Oh, no. Whoa,
1:54:59whoa, whoa. Wait, I miscounted
1:55:00somewhere. Oh, cuz I made this. So, no,
1:55:01we're missing three. We're missing all
1:55:03three grains. So, the biggest thing we
1:55:05have to go find now is a cactus and then
1:55:08we can make the rest. So, let's go do
1:55:09that.

1:55:22we only need three cacti, but I'm going
1:55:26to grab four just to be safe because I
1:55:29do not want to have to come all the way

1:56:32we just dye these three green harness,
1:56:35lime green harness, and very lastly the
1:56:37cyan harness. And just look at all of
1:56:41these harnesses, dude. They look so
1:56:44good. Oh my goodness, I'm excited. All
1:56:45righty. Well, while we're waiting for
1:56:47our ghast to, you know, mature and
1:56:49become big fellows. Oh, wait. Actually,
1:56:51I should probably tie everyone down with
1:56:53a lead just to be safe. Let's see how
1:56:55many mobs can you get on a single fence
1:56:58post? Look at this. We have a wall of
1:57:01baby ghasts. And while we wait, it's
1:57:03time to fix up the ugly wall and the
1:57:05ugly ceiling. And I'm going to start
1:57:07with the wall cuz this one's going to be
1:57:08a lot more tedious.

1:58:35guys what the design's going to be and
1:58:37uh I need to do a lot more so you can
1:58:38understand it. So, I'm going to work on
1:58:40this for a second and then I will be
1:58:41back to show you what we are cooking.
1:58:47Okay, so it's kind of hard to see cuz I
1:58:49still need to go cut all the stone and
1:58:51then also smelt some more, but this is
1:58:53kind of the design we're going with, so
1:58:55it's going to be
1:58:56some end rods sprinkled in just to, you
1:58:59know, give it some flair, and then we
1:59:01got the alternating walls with the
1:59:03regular blocks with the stairs.
1:59:05So, it makes cool columns, and then in
1:59:07between these, I'm going to put
1:59:08trapdoors with glowstone to further
1:59:10light it up. So, it's going to look
1:59:11really good. As you can see, it is
1:59:13making our
1:59:14little walking area a lot skinnier, but
1:59:16honestly, I don't really mind.
1:59:20So, yeah, let us uh keep doing this, and
1:59:22I'm going to go cut actually all the
1:59:24stone. And, you know what? Before that
1:59:26though,
1:59:28there's no way this last ghast isn't
1:59:30done growing. So, let me go throw this
1:59:32harness on him. We have to try and
1:59:34figure out which Oh, there he is right
1:59:35there. Okay. Well, just like this, we
1:59:37have 16 ghasts with every single harness
1:59:41color. Okay, that was uh they all I was
1:59:43trying to jump on top of one, but we're
1:59:45looking good. I'm going to spread them
1:59:46all out later. Yeah, I'm going to do
1:59:48something kind of risky cuz I don't want
1:59:50this guy to escape, but I do want to
1:59:51grab this stonecutter because and by the
1:59:54way, yes, I did just have to look at the
1:59:56name by opening it, but I don't want to
1:59:57talk about it, but we're going to break

2:00:31furnaces for some reason. Let me just
2:00:33make one real quick. Okay, we'll cook
2:00:34all this off this all again. Let us make
2:00:36a bunch of end rods, which will be
2:00:38perfect. We are going to need a boatload
2:00:40of crimson trapdoors. Again, debatably
2:00:43my favorite trapdoor. I I they look so
2:00:46good.
2:00:50Now if we take a little peek at the
2:00:52wall, I mean come on, that looks pretty
2:00:54good people. I really like it. I think
2:00:56the touch of red actually does a lot as
2:00:58well. I'm going to keep on putting in
2:01:00this wall here and these corners always
2:01:02trip me up. So I always have to go
2:01:03double check, make sure I'm doing them
2:01:04right.
2:01:10Look at that. We got the entire wall in
2:01:12dude and I absolutely love it. Well,
2:01:15okay, most of the wall. I know. I know.
2:01:17I see it. Okay, well we'll figure that
2:01:19out in a second. But in terms of the
2:01:20upper wall, we have it and it looks dang
2:01:22good. At least I think. Hopefully you
2:01:24guys think it's as good as I do cuz I
2:01:26love the look. All right, well last
2:01:27thing we need to do obviously is this
2:01:28wall and then the ceiling. So to start,
2:01:31I'm going to make it a blank canvas cuz
2:01:32I don't have a plan for this back wall.
2:01:37I mean it doesn't hate the plain look of
2:01:38this wall. It almost acts in the
2:01:40weirdest way as a bit of contrast to the
2:01:43amount of texture we have. I'm I'm going
2:01:45to add a little bit, I think. I'm
2:01:46thinking we do like a kind of like
2:01:49almost like a snake, I guess is what I
2:01:51describe it as. Spacing-wise, I don't
2:01:53know how this is going to work. I'm
2:01:54again just freehanding this but I just
2:01:56am literally going to do a simple Oh, it
2:01:59actually the spacing was perfect. Oh my
2:02:01goodness. Okay, perfect. Nice. Yeah, I'm
2:02:03just going to do this and then I'm going
2:02:04to fill it all with walls and I feel
2:02:06like again, it's pretty simplistic but
2:02:08it's going to look good. Oh, you know
2:02:09what would probably look sick though is
2:02:11if it was glowstone. 18? Oh, it I don't
2:02:14think it'd be that much. I'm going to
2:02:15see, dude. This might look sick with
2:02:17glowstone. Hold on.
2:02:19Oh, I don't actually know if it looks
2:02:21very good. Dang. I was going to go
2:02:23fences but why not just keep abusing my
2:02:27favorite trapdoor? Oh, I think it's bad
2:02:29actually. I think it doesn't look good
2:02:30at all. No, dude. I thought it was like
2:02:32cook. I think it looks terrible. Yeah,
2:02:35you know, I'm sorry. I am all over the
2:02:36place but we're just going to run the
2:02:37regular wall. It makes it backlit
2:02:39though. Hold on. I mean, I guess it
2:02:41wasn't a complete waste. I don't know if
2:02:43I'm going to back like the other one
2:02:44here cuz I just don't really want to.
2:02:46But, last thing we need to keep in mind
2:02:48when we do this, I want it to be um
2:02:50opposite, so
2:02:53Is it weird that I almost like the
2:02:55darker side more? Cuz I feel like it
2:02:56shows like more depth. Oh my goodness,
2:02:58we have the perfect amount of stairs to
2:03:00end it off. Dude, that's crazy. What the
2:03:02heck? What are the odds of that? All
2:03:03right, well, look at this, dude. The
2:03:04base is coming along. Lastly, again,
2:03:07tomorrow we are doing the ceiling and
2:03:09then we're done. I'm I'm thinking either
2:03:10wood or we could go with a deep slate as
2:03:13like a black ceiling. Could look kind of
2:03:14cool. So, I'm thinking something kind of
2:03:16weird. Right, I was just testing out
2:03:18the, you know, blocks together.
2:03:20Obviously, we're not going to run this
2:03:21regular cobble deep slate, but this
2:03:23polished basalt actually, on a ceiling,
2:03:27might look kind of good. And I think we
2:03:29actually have a decent bit of basalt
2:03:31overall. Stacking some change, but
2:03:33luckily our nether portal's right next
2:03:34to it, so even if we need more, it
2:03:35should be super easy. So, now it's time
2:03:38to put in the ceiling and then this
2:03:40build is officially done.
2:03:44Well, it's going to be kind of hard to
2:03:45tell cuz this room is so big, but I'm
2:03:47thinking if we like make designs with
2:03:50the basalt. Cuz if we go next to each
2:03:52other, it's not going to look good cuz
2:03:53again, there's like that hard line on
2:03:55the outside of the block. So, I think we
2:03:56need to do something more basic for the
2:03:58majority of the ceiling. I just don't
2:04:01really know what. Unless, do I just try
2:04:04it? Hold on, I'm going to try it. No,
2:04:06actually, I I you know what? I'm fine
2:04:07with it. I think it still looks fine.
2:04:16Hold on.
2:04:17Oh, we almost didn't have enough, but we
2:04:19do. Okay. Obviously, we need to uh you
2:04:21know, mine out this monstrosity, but
2:04:23looking at the ceiling, it's a little
2:04:24dark actually now that I'm seeing it. Um
2:04:27maybe I'll throw some lanterns? I don't
2:04:30know. May I might just leave it. It
2:04:31looks okay. It it's a little
2:04:33interesting, you know, with all the
2:04:34lines and all that, whatever. I don't
2:04:36know. It's good enough.
2:04:38There is our base. We got our failed
2:04:40aquarium. This side never got any fish,
2:04:42but that's okay. It's uh it's my
2:04:44personal dunk tank, I guess. Then we got
2:04:46the failed aquarium, like I was just
2:04:49talking about. Again, I hate how the
2:04:50fish don't actually swim, but it was a
2:04:52good try. Obviously, we have this nice
2:04:53little farm. I think it looks really
2:04:54good. We got the ceiling looks decent
2:04:56enough. I love our portal, though, and
2:04:59then obviously the walling as well up
2:05:01top. And then we got our little tunnel
2:05:03heading down into the base with the fake
2:05:05beautiful cave here. Super good,
2:05:07totally. And lastly, of course, we have
2:05:0916 gas all with the different colored
2:05:12harnesses. I still love that little side
2:05:15quest we did. On that note, that's going
2:05:17to do it for this video. Hopefully, you
2:05:18enjoyed it. I know this one took a
2:05:20little bit to come out. I had some life
2:05:22stuff going on. Um hopefully, things end
2:05:24up well. It's not with me personally,
2:05:26but life stuff going on. So, yeah, took
2:05:27a little bit. But, most importantly, I
