  1. 0:00I locked myself in a room with just $50
  2. 0:02and claude until I made $1,000. This was
  3. 0:05it an hour after launching. 5 hours
  4. 0:07later, I had already made over $150. 12
  5. 0:10hours in, over $300. And this right here
  6. 0:13is when we hit our first $1,000. About
  7. 0:1680% of that is pure profit. And it was
  8. 0:18all documented live because listen, I've
  9. 0:20been doing this for almost 10 years. I
  10. 0:22built multiple businesses past seven
  11. 0:24figures. And I know exactly what people
  12. 0:26say. Yeah. Yeah. But you got lucky. So,
  13. 0:29to prove it's not luck, I started
  14. 0:30completely over. Brand new business,
  15. 0:32brand new product on a beginner-friendly
  16. 0:34budget. And I use Claude for damn near
  17. 0:36everything. And I'm going to be going
  18. 0:38through literally every single step
  19. 0:39right from the beginning for you guys.
  20. 0:41And by the end of this, you tell me if
  21. 0:43it was luck. So, starting off from
  22. 0:44scratch, I remember exactly where my
  23. 0:46head was at. If I'm chasing $1,000, I
  24. 0:49cannot be picking a product I just think
  25. 0:51is cool. I needed proven demand,
  26. 0:52something that strangers were already
  27. 0:54pulling their credit cards out for. So,
  28. 0:56my first move wasn't building anything.
  29. 0:57It was making a brand new Tik Tok
  30. 0:59account completely fresh because if I
  31. 1:01scroll on my personal page, the
  32. 1:02algorithm just feeds me my own
  33. 1:04interests. And my interests are probably
  34. 1:06not what's going crazy in the market
  35. 1:08right now. Instead, I needed an
  36. 1:09algorithm with no idea who I am. Just
  37. 1:11showing me what the world is buying
  38. 1:13right now. And real quick, if you're new
  39. 1:14here, the business model I was running
  40. 1:16was drop shipping. You sell a product
  41. 1:18online without ever touching it.
  42. 1:19Somebody orders from your store, your
  43. 1:21supplier ships it straight to them, and
  44. 1:22you keep the difference. That's it. So,
  45. 1:24I'm scrolling. I'm scrolling and two
  46. 1:26products just kept jumping out. a
  47. 1:27waterproof eyeliner and this knee brace
  48. 1:29right here that had over 130,000 likes
  49. 1:31on the ad itself [clears throat] with
  50. 1:32people tagging their friends saying
  51. 1:33things like, "I'm buying you this." And
  52. 1:35that's clear demand that you could see.
  53. 1:37But when I was doing this, I knew that I
  54. 1:38wanted to find at least three options
  55. 1:40minimum. So, I just kept digging and
  56. 1:41thank God that I did because that's when
  57. 1:44I found it, an electric grill brush. And
  58. 1:46I knew the second I saw it a,000% that
  59. 1:48this was my winner. And it was for one
  60. 1:50major reason that Claude actually
  61. 1:52pointed out this product had crazy
  62. 1:53demand. But that's not even it. All that
  63. 1:55demand had nowhere to go. When I traced
  64. 1:58where the traffic was flowing, every bit
  65. 1:59of it was going to Tik Tok shop. Not one
  66. 2:01single Shopify store was in the lane
  67. 2:03where I saw thousands of people wanting
  68. 2:05the product and there was no real store
  69. 2:06to really buy it from. So, I saw the gap
  70. 2:08in the market where all I had to do now
  71. 2:10was just be literally the first one to
  72. 2:11show up and open that door. And here's a
  73. 2:13part that took all the pressure off
  74. 2:15before I spent a single dollar. The
  75. 2:16store itself was completely free to
  76. 2:19launch. Shopify was running a deal where
  77. 2:20you get your first 3 days completely
  78. 2:22free. then it's only a dollar a month
  79. 2:24for your first 3 months. So, you know,
  80. 2:26I'm thinking in the back of my mind like
  81. 2:28there ain't no way I'm about to be
  82. 2:29taking more than 3 days to get my first
  83. 2:31$1,000. So, while I was locked in this
  84. 2:34room chasing it, it was literally
  85. 2:35costing me nothing. And by the way,
  86. 2:37Shopify, they're still running that same
  87. 2:39deal, which is crazy, but I know it's
  88. 2:40not going to last forever. So, I'm going
  89. 2:42to go and leave it in the description
  90. 2:43for y'all because who knows how much
  91. 2:44longer they're going to be running this
  92. 2:45for. But listen, before I could
  93. 2:46officially lock this product in, I knew
  94. 2:48that there was something that I needed
  95. 2:49to unlock first. Because here's a rule
  96. 2:51that nobody's going to teach beginners.
  97. 2:53And that's how you don't make money when
  98. 2:54you sell. You make it in the gap. What
  99. 2:56the product cost you versus what it
  100. 2:58sells for. Now, my minimum with this is
  101. 3:00always going to be 2.5x. Which means, in
  102. 3:02simple words, if I can't sell it for at
  103. 3:03least 2 and 1/2 times my cost, I simply
  104. 3:05just walk away. So, I went to my
  105. 3:07supplier, I took the product image, I
  106. 3:09dropped it into the search, and there it
  107. 3:10was, the exact product for $10.15.
  108. 3:14Then, I scanned the market. I saw
  109. 3:15competitors were selling this thing for
  110. 3:16around $39.99,
  111. 3:18which is nearly four times my cost. And
  112. 3:20again, my rule was 2.5. And again, now
  113. 3:23I'm seeing that there's a margin for at
  114. 3:24least 4x. So that was the exact green
  115. 3:26light I was looking for to lock
  116. 3:28everything in and finally build my store
  117. 3:30and get it ready to launch. And this is
  118. 3:32where Claude came in clutch for me
  119. 3:34because I didn't design the store at
  120. 3:35all. I just briefed Claude. I told it
  121. 3:38act like an elite e-commerce growth
  122. 3:39strategist. And then I just fed it the
  123. 3:41raw product link. You want to know the
  124. 3:42first thing that it did? a full
  125. 3:44competitor deep dive. It pulled up the
  126. 3:46actual live ads on Meta and Tik Tok and
  127. 3:47it showed me exactly what I was up
  128. 3:49against and where their funnels were
  129. 3:50weak. Then it went even crazier. Okay,
  130. 3:52it gave me the selling points, the
  131. 3:54customer, all the information that I
  132. 3:56needed to know of how to enter the
  133. 3:57market with this. It said that it's
  134. 3:59clean, it's premium, it's for weekend
  135. 4:01barbecue dads, and our number one
  136. 4:02selling point is the cleaning speed
  137. 4:04where minutes later it actually handed
  138. 4:06me a whole playbook, headlines, mission
  139. 4:08statement, product page copy that
  140. 4:10genuinely converts. So, I just plugged
  141. 4:12everything into Shopify. I threw a
  142. 4:13Father's Day bundle on top because that
  143. 4:15holiday was trending at the moment. And
  144. 4:17just like that, the store was officially
  145. 4:19standing. Now, was it the prettiest
  146. 4:21store on the internet? No, by far no.
  147. 4:24But it didn't need to be. All I needed
  148. 4:26it to do was to convert. The main focus
  149. 4:28was that every section answered a real
  150. 4:30question cuz I remember seeing people in
  151. 4:32the ad comments saying, "Is this thing
  152. 4:33even safe to use or how does it work?"
  153. 4:36So, Claude made sure that my page
  154. 4:37answered that before they could even
  155. 4:39think about asking it. Okay, so the
  156. 4:41store is live, but exactly zero
  157. 4:43customers knew it existed. And I had to
  158. 4:44fix that ASAP cuz man, I'm telling
  159. 4:46y'all, you could have the best product
  160. 4:48on earth, the best store on earth. But
  161. 4:50none of it matters if nobody sees it.
  162. 4:53Traffic is the whole game. And the old
  163. 4:55way of getting ads made, hunting down
  164. 4:56UGC craters, hundreds of dollars a
  165. 4:58video, praying that it comes back
  166. 5:00usable. That is a week in this room
  167. 5:02before one single ad exists. I didn't
  168. 5:04have the time to do that. So, here's
  169. 5:05what I did instead. I use Ecom Boss.
  170. 5:07It's an AI marketing tool that builds
  171. 5:09your ad creators for you. UGC style
  172. 5:11modeled after what is already winning.
  173. 5:12But here's the move that made this crazy
  174. 5:14fast. All I did was I just connected
  175. 5:15Ecom Boss directly into the same cloud
  176. 5:17project that I've already been working
  177. 5:19in all day, which meant that the brain
  178. 5:20building my ads already knew everything.
  179. 5:22It knew my customer, my competitor, my
  180. 5:24store, my product, where I never had to
  181. 5:26explain a single thing twice. I had
  182. 5:28Claude write the prompt. Then I had Ecom
  183. 5:30Boss rewrite it for the best output,
  184. 5:32dropped in my product image, and minutes
  185. 5:34later, the ad started landing. Right
  186. 5:36away, in a couple seconds, I had a photo
  187. 5:37ad with my exact offer built right into
  188. 5:39it. a UGC style video of the product
  189. 5:41doing its thing on a dirty grill where
  190. 5:43what used to take days and hundreds per
  191. 5:45creator took me only a couple minutes to
  192. 5:47be able to do. And because it was able
  193. 5:48to do all this so fast and efficient, I
  194. 5:50just ran it back until I had 15 ads
  195. 5:52ready to go back to back that I could go
  196. 5:54ahead and launch the same day. And
  197. 5:55listen, if you want to run Ecom Boss on
  198. 5:56your own store, don't worry. You know, I
  199. 5:58got y'all with the link in the
  200. 5:59description. But just make sure you go
  201. 6:00and use the code Alex at checkout to get
  202. 6:0225% off from here. After I got all the
  203. 6:04ads done, everything went into a $50 ad
  204. 6:06campaign inside of my Meta Ads Manager.
  205. 6:08Now, I went ahead and had this thing
  206. 6:09launch at midnight that night, which
  207. 6:11meant at that point there was really
  208. 6:12nothing left to do but sleep. But I'll
  209. 6:14be real with y'all. I could not sleep.
  210. 6:15Okay? I was sitting there checking my
  211. 6:17phone, scrolling, looking for that
  212. 6:18Shopify notification, and nothing came
  213. 6:20in. Then I'm like dozing off, right? And
  214. 6:22I remember randomly getting up around
  215. 6:246:00 a.m. before my alarm even went off,
  216. 6:26used the restroom, and before I could
  217. 6:28get back into bed, I took a quick peek
  218. 6:29one more time, and there it was, my
  219. 6:31first three sales. All three actually
  220. 6:33happened inside the same hour, like back
  221. 6:35toback. I have one at 4:09 a.m. 412 a.m.
  222. 6:38445 a.m. totaling out to $180 [music]
  223. 6:41before the sun even rised and I'm
  224. 6:43already sitting there profitable. But
  225. 6:45let me be real with y'all. $180 is not
  226. 6:47even close to $1,000. And $1,000 was the
  227. 6:50only way I was letting myself take a
  228. 6:51break from this. And I would love to sit
  229. 6:52here and tell you that the momentum just
  230. 6:54kept rolling. But the day had other
  231. 6:56plans. Afternoon hit and we were still
  232. 6:58sitting at the same exact numbers that
  233. 7:00we had at 6:00 a.m. completely frozen.
  234. 7:02And with no deadline on this thing, at
  235. 7:03this rate, this was something that could
  236. 7:05take up to six days now just to hit that
  237. 7:07$1,000. And I'm telling y'all, this is
  238. 7:09really the exact moment that kills more
  239. 7:11stores than any bad product ever will
  240. 7:13because everything in you says force it.
  241. 7:15Dump more budget in. Start editing the
  242. 7:17campaign. Make something happen. But
  243. 7:19touching a campaign that's still
  244. 7:20learning, still trying to figure out who
  245. 7:22your customer is, still trying to gather
  246. 7:23data, you reset everything that it's
  247. 7:25trying to figure out where you end up
  248. 7:27killing a winner before it ever even
  249. 7:28becomes one just to feel like you did
  250. 7:31something. Now, I've already done this
  251. 7:32mistake many times before, and it cost
  252. 7:34me way more than one slow afternoon.
  253. 7:36Plus, I was doing this just to prove it
  254. 7:38can be done on a budget, so I didn't
  255. 7:39want to really touch anything. So,
  256. 7:40instead, I left the paid ads alone, and
  257. 7:42I went ahead and pushed the organic
  258. 7:44approach. Meaning, I spun up fresh Tik
  259. 7:46Tok and Instagram accounts. I took my
  260. 7:47whole library of creatives that I just
  261. 7:49made, and I just flooded them out to the
  262. 7:51market. free traffic, zero risk to my
  263. 7:53active campaign, just seeing if I could
  264. 7:55get the ball rolling in some type of way
  265. 7:57where later that evening, I actually
  266. 7:58checked my numbers and things were
  267. 8:00finally starting to move. But it's funny
  268. 8:01cuz it was actually not even from that
  269. 8:03organic play at all. It was from our
  270. 8:05active campaign that we were still
  271. 8:07running on Meta, leaving me with around
  272. 8:09$314 in sales at that moment. And the
  273. 8:11numbers underneath it were even crazier.
  274. 8:13I was converting at 7.86%,
  275. 8:15which a typical store only does around 2
  276. 8:17to 3%. So, the signs were starting to
  277. 8:19sign up. Okay, 80 cents a click, a 6.81
  278. 8:22click-through rate against a benchmark
  279. 8:24of like 2.5. But this was my favorite
  280. 8:26part. When I actually filtered the
  281. 8:27campaign by return on ad spin, one image
  282. 8:30ad had eaten damn near the entire
  283. 8:32budget. And when I looked at the image,
  284. 8:34it was bringing close to a $4.67 return
  285. 8:36on my ad spin, meaning that every time I
  286. 8:38spent a dollar, I was making about $4
  287. 8:40back. And every single purchase was
  288. 8:42coming from this one ad. And you want to
  289. 8:44know what it was? You want to know what
  290. 8:45that creative was? It was that first
  291. 8:47still image that we created on Ecom
  292. 8:49Boss. It was the first picture that we
  293. 8:50ever generated. And I looked into this.
  294. 8:52It wasn't even going that crazy. I had
  295. 8:53like two comments, five likes, but I'm
  296. 8:55telling you, it was quietly printing
  297. 8:56money the whole time. So, I want you to
  298. 8:58see what happened here. I didn't pick
  299. 8:59the winner. I didn't choose what I
  300. 9:01thought was going to work. I built a
  301. 9:02system that finds the winner. That's why
  302. 9:04inside of this meta campaign, I ran it
  303. 9:06as a CBO. And that's what a CBO does.
  304. 9:07Facebook feeds the budget to whatever's
  305. 9:09performing where my only job was just to
  306. 9:11give it 18 options and to get out of the
  307. 9:13way. So, at the same time, I'm actually
  308. 9:14starting to see orders coming in, right?
  309. 9:16which meant something else and that's
  310. 9:17that my supplier needed to get paid or
  311. 9:20nothing is going to ship out at all. And
  312. 9:21here's the annoying part about this
  313. 9:22business. Overseas suppliers like the
  314. 9:24ones I was using, I mean, they don't
  315. 9:26take credit cards. So, the old way I had
  316. 9:28to wire out the money, but your cash is
  317. 9:29gone instantly. You eat the fees and you
  318. 9:31earn absolutely nothing on some of the
  319. 9:33biggest spend in your business. I've
  320. 9:35been using Melio to get around all of
  321. 9:36that where Melio lets you pay any vendor
  322. 9:38by card, even when they don't accept
  323. 9:40cards. You charge your credit card and
  324. 9:42Melo pays them the way that you actually
  325. 9:43want. AC wire or even check. Your
  326. 9:46supplier doesn't have to sign up for
  327. 9:47anything. It doesn't change anything.
  328. 9:49They just get paid. Well, all you have
  329. 9:50to do is just drop in the invoice. You
  330. 9:51pick your card. You hit pay and it's
  331. 9:53done right from this desk. And what that
  332. 9:55did for me is actually two different
  333. 9:56things. One, my cash stayed in my
  334. 9:58account for up to 45 days instead of
  335. 10:00leaving the second that I hit send. And
  336. 10:01two, I earned rewards on a payment I was
  337. 10:03making anyway. Now, there is a small
  338. 10:05processing fee, but when you factor in
  339. 10:06card rewards, cash back, and up to 45
  340. 10:09days of float, it often works out in
  341. 10:10your favor on large purchases, which is
  342. 10:12exactly what helped me in this moment
  343. 10:14when I had to get my supplier paid right
  344. 10:16away. So, listen, try it for yourself
  345. 10:18for free. You can go to the link in my
  346. 10:19description where you can schedule your
  347. 10:21first payment today. So, at this point,
  348. 10:22the suppliers paid, orders are shipping,
  349. 10:24and I'm thinking the machine's just
  350. 10:25going to run now. Then, boom, 8:00 p.m.,
  351. 10:27another order, 11:00 p.m., another
  352. 10:29order. 11:20 p.m. another one. I mean,
  353. 10:32the numbers were just climbing up. And
  354. 10:34then midnight hits. I checked the
  355. 10:35dashboard and I'm sitting at $547
  356. 10:38in sales. So, I already had a full day
  357. 10:40locked in, but I was only sitting at the
  358. 10:41halfway mark. And I'm going to be honest
  359. 10:43with y'all, that did kind of mess with
  360. 10:44me a little bit because only being
  361. 10:45halfway through this means one thing. At
  362. 10:47least another 24 hours of trying to
  363. 10:49reach this [music] goal. And here's the
  364. 10:50part that was really messing with me.
  365. 10:52I'm sitting there, I'm digging through
  366. 10:53this dashboard, and I see 23 people
  367. 10:55added this thing to their cart. 16 of
  368. 10:57them made it all the way to checkout.
  369. 10:58You want to know how many actually
  370. 10:59bought? Nine. So that's money literally
  371. 11:01standing in the doorway and then walking
  372. 11:03away where every single instinct I had
  373. 11:04in that moment was to fix it, change the
  374. 11:06page, touch a campaign, do something. So
  375. 11:08I'm looking at the data. It said that
  376. 11:10the machine was healthy. People
  377. 11:11obviously wanted this product. The
  378. 11:12buyers just hadn't all shown up yet. So
  379. 11:14I didn't just want to make any drastic
  380. 11:15changes. And it was already late that
  381. 11:17night. So I just let it continue to keep
  382. 11:18running. And thank God that I did
  383. 11:20because the next day the machine paid
  384. 11:21[music] me back for every hour of
  385. 11:23patience. Sale after sale after sale,
  386. 11:26700, 850, 900. And then it officially
  387. 11:30happened. $1,029
  388. 11:3317 [music] orders and still converting
  389. 11:35at 5%. 2 days. That's what it took a
  390. 11:38brand new business built from absolute
  391. 11:39scratch to cross $1,000. Now, for those
  392. 11:42of you guys that are still watching,
  393. 11:44tell me, is this what luck looks like to
  394. 11:46you? The product was validated before I
  395. 11:47touched it. The store was brief to
  396. 11:49convert. The ads came from a brain that
  397. 11:51knew my customer better than even I did.
  398. 11:53So, that first $1,000 was never a matter
  399. 11:55of if it was even possible. It was a
  400. 11:57matter of when. And listen, if you guys
  401. 11:58watch this through the whole entire
  402. 12:00thing and you're thinking to yourself,
  403. 12:01"I could do drop shipping. I can make
  404. 12:02over $1,000, but you don't want to spend
  405. 12:04the countless hours of product research
  406. 12:06trying to find a winning product that
  407. 12:07has the same proven demand as the one
  408. 12:08that I ran in this video." Well, I got
  409. 12:10you. Listen, I got you with a completely
  410. 12:12free top 10 product cheat sheet in the
  411. 12:14description down below, where my team
