  1. 0:00I really know that I have the ability to
  2. 0:03to shock the world.
  3. 0:07You're fight ready. I think he's fight
  4. 0:09ready to go up against you today. Him?
  5. 0:11Yeah. No. I finish him in the first
  6. 0:14round. Me personally, I would ask him
  7. 0:16like, "What's your favorite submission?
  8. 0:19I'm going to submit you with
  9. 0:21that. I have to do it." Did you say you
  10. 0:24want to make more money than Ronaldo? I
  11. 0:26want to make more money
  12. 0:27than everyone. Why? Why is that? And how
  13. 0:30are you going to do it? You win the
  14. 0:32medals in the training. You just go to
  15. 0:35collect them in the in the fight. That's
  16. 0:37what Michael would talk about, you know?
  17. 0:39Yeah. But at the end of the day, he was
  18. 0:40playing basketball. Now I'm fighting.
  19. 0:42What do you think about Zealinski Putin?
  20. 0:45There's how the world sees it. But then
  21. 0:47you're in the region. They see your face
  22. 0:50is saying something though.
  23. 0:52Look how fat he looks. Little pimple.
  24. 0:56Little pimple. Yeah. Party pimple.
  25. 0:58Pimplet,
  26. 1:00you're waiting for that phone call, huh?
  27. 1:01I'm waiting. I'm very excited to be
  28. 1:03honest. Sport is sport. We athletes. I
  29. 1:06respect all of that. But there are lines
  30. 1:09that you can't cross.
  31. 1:11The featherweight
  32. 1:13champion is that power. Wow. He's still
  33. 1:17down. He's still out cold.
  34. 1:20Did you ever think you were made? I feel
  35. 1:25sweet. I know this for me. Adam, what's
  36. 1:29your point? The future looks bright. My
  37. 1:32handshake is better than anything I ever
  38. 1:34sign. It's right here.
  39. 1:37You are one of my
  40. 1:45life that they have like business-wise,
  41. 1:48it's not the best place to Spain, but
  42. 1:50it's your favorite place no matter what.
  43. 1:52Like the quality of life that we have in
  44. 1:55Spain, you can find it anywhere in the
  45. 1:58world. Like for example in Miami, I love
  46. 2:00Miami. But we are recording. No. Yes,
  47. 2:04we're recording.
  48. 2:07Okay. So the quality, the quality of the
  49. 2:09food and everything, it's very different
  50. 2:11to Spain. Not close to Spain. Not close
  51. 2:13to Spain like. So the food is the best
  52. 2:14for you in Spain. The product then the
  53. 2:18traffic. I spent an hour to come here. I
  54. 2:21would be in and span this distance you
  55. 2:24you you I would be there like I don't
  56. 2:26know in 30 minutes. So how how much time
  57. 2:30we spend do you spend here in the
  58. 2:32traffic? That's quality of life like
  59. 2:35food traffic I don't know everything is
  60. 2:38so
  61. 2:39expensive you can you can make a lot of
  62. 2:41money. Are you very detailed? Like are
  63. 2:43you a very detailed guy? Like you know
  64. 2:44personalitywise in business uh you know
  65. 2:48when when you try to profile somebody
  66. 2:51you're recruiting somebody like let me
  67. 2:53see what personality this person is.
  68. 2:54Extremely analytical, extremely
  69. 2:57structured, organized like you had a
  70. 2:59little bit of thing you had to go clean
  71. 3:00it up with the shirt, right? Extremely
  72. 3:02actionoriented. Let's go out. What are
  73. 3:03we going to do? Let's beat them. Let's
  74. 3:04competitive, you know? And then
  75. 3:06relationship. Very good with people,
  76. 3:08right? You care about the relationship
  77. 3:10and all that stuff. Are you more
  78. 3:12analytical, structured, systematized,
  79. 3:14actionoriented, competitive or more
  80. 3:16relationship with friends and family?
  81. 3:19More relationship with friends and
  82. 3:20family and I'm more with with energy
  83. 3:22like my with feelings. It depends how I
  84. 3:25feel with the with the person because I
  85. 3:28can have a lot of information for
  86. 3:30example about someone but then I met him
  87. 3:33in person and and the feeling I have
  88. 3:35with him is completely different you
  89. 3:37know. So yeah, very interesting. I asked
  90. 3:41that because you know when you're saying
  91. 3:43uh quality of life to to think quality
  92. 3:46of life of the conversation we're
  93. 3:47having, you have to be analytical a
  94. 3:49little bit to pay attention to the
  95. 3:51details to say it took me one hour to
  96. 3:53come up but it would have been 30
  97. 3:54minutes where I live. You know, you got
  98. 3:57to because I have two kids. If you if
  99. 3:59you are raising a a kids, you got to
  100. 4:02take them to the school. You got to take
  101. 4:04them to to different activities. So if I
  102. 4:06have to spend between every activities
  103. 4:09an hour in the traffic, that's a lot of
  104. 4:11time for me. So I at the end of the day
  105. 4:14I I got to have to take something from
  106. 4:17them to optimize that time. So I look at
  107. 4:22it from time time wise. Very And you're
  108. 4:25very active with your kids. Are you very
  109. 4:27involved? Mike and my boy, he he he
  110. 4:30doesn't live with with me. My girl,
  111. 4:32she's eight months months old, but we
  112. 4:35are like planning everything now. Like,
  113. 4:38where are we going to live? Where are we
  114. 4:39going to rise them? How we going to do
  115. 4:41it? So, I'm planning. I'm 20 years old.
  116. 4:44And and you're just getting started, you
  117. 4:46know, when I'm getting started. You're
  118. 4:47just getting started. So, you're you're
  119. 4:49what? You're 16 and0. You you won the
  120. 4:52145 after winning against Vog, which
  121. 4:55wasn't, you know, the fight was
  122. 4:57fireworks is what did you watch the
  123. 4:58fight? Of course. Yeah, it was
  124. 4:59fireworks. And then afterwards you give
  125. 5:03up the belt to go to the legendary 155,
  126. 5:06right? Where everybody that's like the
  127. 5:09weight everybody knows it's the category
  128. 5:11to be part. I don't even know if if you
  129. 5:13look up Rob who are the top five biggest
  130. 5:15fights. I think 545 it's all the
  131. 5:18lightweight, right? Yeah, it is all
  132. 5:19lightweight cuz it's Connor Kabib. I
  133. 5:22think it's Conor. Uh
  134. 5:25it's I think he's retired. You think
  135. 5:27he's retired? Yeah, I think so. He's not
  136. 5:29going to come back. What do you think
  137. 5:30happened to him? You think it's the
  138. 5:32money and the success? Uh, I think that
  139. 5:35he doesn't have the motivation anymore.
  140. 5:37He he he done a great things in the
  141. 5:40sport, but he doesn't have the
  142. 5:42motivation. He he he got I think a lot
  143. 5:45of money. He's spending also a lot of
  144. 5:47money. So, I don't know. I don't know
  145. 5:49him personally. I don't know him. You
  146. 5:50guys have never met? Never. So, there's
  147. 5:53no relationship? No. Cuz he said some
  148. 5:55stuff about you and you've said some
  149. 5:56stuff about him. Yeah. But nothing good.
  150. 6:00Yeah.
  151. 6:02Nothing. Nothing good. So if if right
  152. 6:05now you guys were to fight like right
  153. 6:06now, right now, let's just say in two
  154. 6:08weeks he gets a call. Yeah. And a fight
  155. 6:10happens. You're fight ready. You think
  156. 6:11he's fight ready to go up against you
  157. 6:13today? Him? Yeah. No, I don't think so.
  158. 6:16What he what he did in the last two
  159. 6:18weeks?
  160. 6:20Party, drinking beers. What I did in the
  161. 6:23last two two weeks, I trained twice a
  162. 6:26day. Um, I don't know. I'm an active
  163. 6:29fighter. I defend my my belt a couple of
  164. 6:31months ago. When was the last time he
  165. 6:34fought? He fought, I don't know, three
  166. 6:36years ago, four years ago.
  167. 6:39He's not in shape. Your peak, like right
  168. 6:43now, you you Some would even say you're
  169. 6:46not even at your peak yet. Yeah. Cuz
  170. 6:48you're still getting better, right?
  171. 6:49You're you're 28. How old are you? 28.
  172. 6:5228 years old. So some of these guys,
  173. 6:54they peaked at 32, 33, 31. That's the
  174. 6:59age, right? You're at 28. Your peak
  175. 7:02versus Connor's peak. Who wins that
  176. 7:03fight? At 155, let's just say,
  177. 7:07my answer is going to be always me.
  178. 7:10Every day, all day, I'm going to bet
  179. 7:12that guy no matter when and where. But
  180. 7:15if you ask him, he's going to tell you
  181. 7:17probably the same. So you know how it
  182. 7:20works. This is sport. No one's going to
  183. 7:22give up. When when you were coming up,
  184. 7:23was he somebody you looked up to? Were
  185. 7:25you like, you know, was Connor your guy?
  186. 7:27Were you a fan of his when you were
  187. 7:28coming up as a young fighter? Yeah, of
  188. 7:30course. Of course. He inspired a lot of
  189. 7:33fighters. He changed the sport. He did
  190. 7:36so many great things for for for the
  191. 7:38sport. You can say like anything
  192. 7:40different about that. But he he he like
  193. 7:43little by little he changed his his
  194. 7:47values. He changed everything. All
  195. 7:49right. Right now, what what does he
  196. 7:53represent? I always used to say like
  197. 7:55drugs,
  198. 7:57alcohol, bad
  199. 7:59lifestyle, but who gives a [ __ ] Do you
  200. 8:02do you watch closely to make sure you
  201. 8:05like as you're going through it, are you
  202. 8:08also watching and very detailed on the
  203. 8:11decisions you're making to see how
  204. 8:14you're living? Because you're watching,
  205. 8:15okay, this is what this guy did right,
  206. 8:16that's what this guy did wrong. Are you
  207. 8:18studying everybody to see what for
  208. 8:20yourself to be protected of? Of course.
  209. 8:22Of course. I always try to develop my
  210. 8:24skills. I always try to have more
  211. 8:27abilities because at the end of the day,
  212. 8:30you skills make you rich, right? Not the
  213. 8:32money. Because if you don't have the
  214. 8:34skills, you don't have the right
  215. 8:35mentality, you are poor. So, I all the
  216. 8:38time try to develop my skills and my
  217. 8:42abilities. and and when when going with
  218. 8:45um someone like you because I think you
  219. 8:47said one time you said you want to make
  220. 8:48did you say you want to make more money
  221. 8:50than Ronaldo? I think you said you want
  222. 8:51to make more money than Ronaldo. I want
  223. 8:52to make more money
  224. 8:54than everyone. Why? Why is that? And how
  225. 8:57are you going to do it?
  226. 9:00Uh okay, let's switch that a little bit.
  227. 9:04It's not it's not like I want to be
  228. 9:07better than someone. It's like if
  229. 9:09someone could do it, I want to do it
  230. 9:10also. Got it? And if no one did it, I
  231. 9:13want to be the first one to do it. So
  232. 9:15this is the mental. It's not to look up
  233. 9:17to some to look down to someone, right?
  234. 9:20It's not because of that. It's I want to
  235. 9:22experience that that also how it feels
  236. 9:26to be the the number one guy.
  237. 9:29Well, why not? Right. You're saying
  238. 9:31pay-wise. Yeah. Why not? Do you have a
  239. 9:34strategy on how you want to do it? Have
  240. 9:35you thought about it? Have you thought
  241. 9:37about what method you're going to have?
  242. 9:38I I looked at the pay on what you've
  243. 9:41gotten. Earlier, we were talking to the
  244. 9:42guys and uh when I look at this, your
  245. 9:45first fight uh I don't know if it's your
  246. 9:47first fight, but one of your first
  247. 9:48fights that you made
  248. 9:4938,500 October 10, 2020. Then you made
  249. 9:5350K, then 75, then 90, then you made 154
  250. 9:56with Bryce Mitchell, one of your good
  251. 9:57friends. And
  252. 10:00then and then you made 200,000 with Josh
  253. 10:02EMTT. and you made 532
  254. 10:05uh fighter of the year 2024 with Vog and
  255. 10:08then you made
  256. 10:102.44 million with Holloway. So roughly
  257. 10:13courier earnings 3.5 million and you
  258. 10:16know this is this is a very good
  259. 10:18trajectory if this is a stock this
  260. 10:20there's some real good things around the
  261. 10:22corner for you right fight wise it's not
  262. 10:24only fightwise it's it's also a
  263. 10:28business-wise that's why I try to
  264. 10:30develop all the time my my skills you
  265. 10:32know whatever because at some point I'm
  266. 10:34going to retire and I'm going to make a
  267. 10:36a living from from something else
  268. 10:39something else. So Got it. How much
  269. 10:41longer you think you'll be fighting?
  270. 10:42You're 28 now. Till I enjoy. To be
  271. 10:45honest, before I used to be like maybe
  272. 10:48when I I'm 30 or 32, but now till I
  273. 10:53enjoy I will be will be active. How old
  274. 10:57was Kabib when he retired? I think 32.
  275. 10:5932. Was he 32? 32. Yeah, you're right.
  276. 11:0232. September 20, 1988 when he retired.
  277. 11:05Interesting. But right now, you're
  278. 11:07enjoying it. You see yourself going for
  279. 11:08a few more years. Exactly. Okay. Like
  280. 11:11now I have a new motivation, new
  281. 11:13division. I have a lot of guys there. So
  282. 11:17why
  283. 11:18not what's what's the what's Because I
  284. 11:21watched uh I had Kabib on I don't know
  285. 11:24when it was. I did an interview with
  286. 11:25Kabib four years ago. Could have been
  287. 11:28three years ago. Maybe four or five
  288. 11:30years ago. Probably four years ago. See,
  289. 11:31pull up the date, Rob, to see when this
  290. 11:33is. What is the date on this here?
  291. 11:36August 1st. 21st 2023. Okay. I thought
  292. 11:39it was a lot longer than that. So we
  293. 11:40this that's what Rob year and a half
  294. 11:42ago. Yep. Soon to be two years. Okay. I
  295. 11:45had him on and I watched uh uh there's a
  296. 11:48clip. Rob, if you have the clip uh of uh
  297. 11:51Kabib being asked about you and he's
  298. 11:55asking a question about whether you're
  299. 11:58ready and I'm sure you've seen this
  300. 11:59yourself. I'm sure you've seen the
  301. 12:00comments that he made. I don't know if
  302. 12:01you've seen it or not. If you haven't,
  303. 12:03Rob, I'm going to text it over to you.
  304. 12:05There's an interview he's being asked
  305. 12:07about whether you're ready to fight um
  306. 12:11you know whether you've earned the right
  307. 12:13to fight for the number one spot. Have
  308. 12:15you seen this clip yet of Kabib talking
  309. 12:16about you or no? Um I I have watched
  310. 12:19some of them. I watch with with Henry.
  311. 12:22Yeah, you've seen this. Okay, play this
  312. 12:24clip off for the audience if they
  313. 12:25haven't seen it. Go for it. He said,
  314. 12:27"You know what? I want to go up to 155
  315. 12:29lbs, fight the number one contender, and
  316. 12:31then if he wins that, then he fights
  317. 12:32Islam." I think that's good, brother. I
  318. 12:34think he deserves I think if you move up
  319. 12:36and you beat somebody like Dustin Poria
  320. 12:38or Charles Alivera he's next. Why not?
  321. 12:40Because there is nobody. So you don't
  322. 12:42think right now Ilia deserves a shot at
  323. 12:45155 lbs without fighting in 155 without?
  324. 12:48No, I don't agree because Islam already
  325. 12:50give chance and people talk bad about
  326. 12:53like oh he fight two time with
  327. 12:55volcanoski but UFC push this fight and
  328. 12:57this fight was good in first fight but
  329. 13:00why Islam have to give three time chance
  330. 13:02for 145 champion why it's not fair for
  331. 13:05155 pounds right right but but if he
  332. 13:08move up and he beat somebody like
  333. 13:10Charles of course you know what I think
  334. 13:12I think he can beat
  335. 13:14I think he can beat I like Charles but I
  336. 13:16think so too no I I think
  337. 13:21he's saying
  338. 13:23that I don't deserve
  339. 13:25it, but he's saying from a fighter's p
  340. 13:29perspective, but as a promoter, it it
  341. 13:32works a little bit different. So now
  342. 13:35you're thinking Dana. Yeah. Got it. So
  343. 13:38you think Dana would be excited about
  344. 13:40you fighting Dustin or Charles? I don't
  345. 13:43think so. I don't think so. Right. That
  346. 13:45will be a making a step back. I think
  347. 13:49yeah, I understand what he's saying, but
  348. 13:52I tell you who I want to see as a fan.
  349. 13:54I'm talking purely as a fan. Okay. If
  350. 13:57there is the fight with you and Islam
  351. 13:59Mhm. that could be one of the biggest
  352. 14:01pay-per-views if that takes place. I
  353. 14:04think so. Also, look, Henry Sahula, you
  354. 14:08you watch him in the video, he moved up.
  355. 14:10He fought he fought for the second belt.
  356. 14:13Connor, he fought for the second belt.
  357. 14:15George St. He fought for the second
  358. 14:17belt. You have I can like mention you so
  359. 14:19many names that fought for that second
  360. 14:22belt. Why why not
  361. 14:25me that had that opportunity to fight
  362. 14:28for the next weight class uh world
  363. 14:31championship for the
  364. 14:33belt? So right now with where you're at,
  365. 14:36are you are you wanting your next to be
  366. 14:38that? I'm sure that that's going to
  367. 14:40happen. I'm I'm fighting for the belt.
  368. 14:42Okay. So, so right now you gave the belt
  369. 14:45back uh at one point. I I gave it
  370. 14:48because I didn't want to hold the
  371. 14:49division, right? This is what I did. I
  372. 14:52could hold it for a year, year and a
  373. 14:54half, but I didn't because at the end I
  374. 14:58I knew it that I wouldn't fight again in
  375. 15:01145, but I could have the position where
  376. 15:04I would say like, listen, I'm holding
  377. 15:06the belt till you give me the chance to
  378. 15:09fight for the for for the next weight
  379. 15:11class. uh belt, but I'm like I'm okaying
  380. 15:16the belt because they gave me they were
  381. 15:19that was all easy. Who is the ranking
  382. 15:21right now in 155? Uh the number one is
  383. 15:24Charles Oliva and the the champion
  384. 15:28is Islam. I don't know who is the the
  385. 15:32number two.
  386. 15:34Can you look at that rap? Uh, I'm
  387. 15:36curious now because I is Charles is
  388. 15:40number Oh, Arman is number two. Arman
  389. 15:42number two. So, would you fight an Arman
  390. 15:44before you go like let's just say Dana
  391. 15:46says I want you to fight Arman before
  392. 15:47you fight Islam. Would you entertain
  393. 15:49that? He wouldn't he wouldn't tell me
  394. 15:51that. He wouldn't tell you that. No.
  395. 15:54Dana would say Islam.
  396. 15:56He would say for the belt. He would say
  397. 15:58for the belt. Yeah. I think so as well
  398. 16:01because you're undefeated. Of course.
  399. 16:03Yeah. There's no way that I have to
  400. 16:06fight to to the number one contender. I
  401. 16:08have to fight directly for the belt.
  402. 16:11How soon you think that would happen?
  403. 16:14Personally, I don't know. I hope in
  404. 16:17summer, maybe in September. I don't
  405. 16:20know. Whenever it happens, it's going to
  406. 16:22be How does it normally happen? I'm not
  407. 16:24in your world. Do you do you do you
  408. 16:26normally make the call and tell Dana or
  409. 16:29do you kind of do the podcast and kind
  410. 16:30of find a way that the video makes it to
  411. 16:32Dana for him to know or does he call you
  412. 16:33and tell you? It never works like that.
  413. 16:35They call you they they tell you like I
  414. 16:37need you in this day in this place. Do
  415. 16:41you have a warning or no? They just kind
  416. 16:42of call you and tell you I got to fight
  417. 16:43for you. I got to fight for you. Okay.
  418. 16:45This how it works. Of course, they they
  419. 16:49like have a conversation with you
  420. 16:51because they want you to feel also
  421. 16:53comfortable with the day, with the
  422. 16:55place, with with the opponent, with with
  423. 16:57everything. Got it. They they figure out
  424. 16:59with you and you go after that. But at
  425. 17:02least what what they do always with the
  426. 17:07champions is that they give you at least
  427. 17:10tweaks of of preparation. You know, if
  428. 17:14you're a champion, they give you that 12
  429. 17:15week respect. Yeah. Yeah. Because you
  430. 17:17need a training camp. You need to figure
  431. 17:18out you how you going to do it, how you
  432. 17:20going to organize your everything. I
  433. 17:23don't know. You got to move your whole
  434. 17:24team. Let me let me ask this question
  435. 17:27for someone like you. You give me the
  436. 17:29idea. You're very meticulous. You're
  437. 17:30very detailed.
  438. 17:33Are you is your current training a
  439. 17:36regular training or is your current
  440. 17:39training specific training targeted for
  441. 17:42your next fight in Islam? like
  442. 17:44psychologically in your mind are you
  443. 17:46you're already there. Yeah, I have two
  444. 17:49names in my mind right now and and we
  445. 17:52focus all trainings in two names. It's
  446. 17:55Charles Charles and Islam in case if he
  447. 17:58says you're fighting Charles. Yeah. in
  448. 18:00case that he's he says that I'm I I got
  449. 18:03to fight Charles. I'm ready for that
  450. 18:07because I'm I'm doing a lot of like we
  451. 18:09watching his fights seeing his
  452. 18:12weaknesses where he's doing like I don't
  453. 18:15know where he's dangerous all that we
  454. 18:17study him the same thing with Islam he
  455. 18:19saw Paul he moves a little bit different
  456. 18:22he tends to go for the takedowns so we
  457. 18:25are preparing I'm so excited that's why
  458. 18:28me if someone asked to me like I would
  459. 18:30love to fight with with Islam that will
  460. 18:33be a a great one because I really know
  461. 18:36that I have the the ability
  462. 18:40to to shock the world because I know
  463. 18:43that for me it's going to be like I know
  464. 18:46that I I'm going to beat him but for the
  465. 18:48world it's going to be like just what
  466. 18:51happened. The same thing that happened
  467. 18:53with with Wal, the same thing that
  468. 18:55happened with with Max Holloway. No one
  469. 18:57never knocked him out. No one did it and
  470. 19:01it was like a surprise for for everyone.
  471. 19:04But me personally, I always knew it. You
  472. 19:06always knew before before I walk in in
  473. 19:10the octagon, I was like, thank thanks
  474. 19:12God to give me the opportunity to be the
  475. 19:14first one to knock him out. Where does
  476. 19:16the confidence come from? From hard work
  477. 19:18and
  478. 19:19dedication from and from God. I think
  479. 19:22so. And I'm going to sound a little bit
  480. 19:26repetitive, but I always prefer
  481. 19:30to to think
  482. 19:32about to have the kind of thoughts that
  483. 19:36make me feel happy, that empowers me
  484. 19:39because I uh I feel fear fe uh fear of
  485. 19:45course I do. But both of them fear and
  486. 19:49and faith demand you to believe that uh
  487. 19:51you never saw. I
  488. 19:54always prefer to believe in something
  489. 19:56that makes me feel happy. Fear. Yeah.
  490. 19:59Fear. So is you feel fear while you're
  491. 20:03going into the ring or at that point
  492. 20:04you're not when you are in backstage you
  493. 20:06feel that? You feel fear backstage? Of
  494. 20:09course. Adrenaline right here. Of course
  495. 20:10you do. Everyone does it. Everyone. How
  496. 20:13do you deal with it? How do you deal
  497. 20:14with it? I I use it like uh from a
  498. 20:18positive way. I use it from
  499. 20:22like I don't
  500. 20:24know the first thing that happens where
  501. 20:27where you are in backstage you you might
  502. 20:29your mind used to take you to to the
  503. 20:32octagon and in reality you are in the
  504. 20:34backstage and I'm like listen right now
  505. 20:37I'm with with my people wrapping my
  506. 20:39hands warm up I don't know whatever I'm
  507. 20:42doing but I'm not fighting with with
  508. 20:44anyone so don't worry about anything
  509. 20:47just save that energy energy because you
  510. 20:50are going to need that that
  511. 20:51concentration that focus inside the
  512. 20:53octagon. So if you are able
  513. 20:56to don't let your mind to travel to the
  514. 21:00future, you are ahead of of your
  515. 21:02opponents. When you're backstage and
  516. 21:04your anxiety goes, is there anybody you
  517. 21:07want around you that brings you down?
  518. 21:09No. Or is it like your brother calms you
  519. 21:11down? Is it a coach that calms you down?
  520. 21:14Do you just want to be left alone to
  521. 21:15yourself to have the conversations in
  522. 21:17your mind yourself? myself, nobody else.
  523. 21:19Nobody else. I just go I watch myself in
  524. 21:22the mirror and I'm like, "This is the
  525. 21:24the the person you have to beat." The
  526. 21:26person in the mirror. Yeah. This is the
  527. 21:28person. Yeah. This is the person you
  528. 21:29have. Are you listen to any music or no?
  529. 21:33I don't like whatever. Like, oh, I play
  530. 21:36the music. Someone from my team plays
  531. 21:38the music. I don't have any uh
  532. 21:43I don't know how to say it in English.
  533. 21:45Ritual. Superstition. Oh, superstition.
  534. 21:48Got it. You're not superstitious. Yeah.
  535. 21:50You're not at all. Not at all. So, you
  536. 21:52will step on a line. You won't step over
  537. 21:53a line. You're not If you touch
  538. 21:55something, you won't have to touch it
  539. 21:56three times. Exactly. You're not like
  540. 21:58that at all. No. No. No. Not at all. No,
  541. 22:00not at all. Why not? It's interesting.
  542. 22:03Because I don't like to to depend on
  543. 22:05anything. I'm like, you wake me up at
  544. 22:094:00, you tell me that I got a fight
  545. 22:12with someone, I do it. I don't care.
  546. 22:15So that's why it's like I don't need my
  547. 22:18shorts. If I don't have my shorts, I
  548. 22:21have a bad lack or if I'm not wearing
  549. 22:23this or he's not able to come to watch
  550. 22:26my fight or whatever. I don't know.
  551. 22:29Nothing. You're that ice cold. Mentally,
  552. 22:32you're that ice cold. They call it ice
  553. 22:34cold. That's great. I don't know me.
  554. 22:37Nothing gets through. Nothing. I can
  555. 22:39walk like I can go alone. Like just
  556. 22:42imagine that my coaches can't come with
  557. 22:45me, my my brother can't come with me, no
  558. 22:47one. And I have to go alone. No problem.
  559. 22:50Can anybody get under your skin? Does
  560. 22:53anybody get under your skin?
  561. 22:56You know what that means? Like when you
  562. 22:57know what I'm saying? Like somebody that
  563. 22:59knows to say
  564. 23:00something that triggers they see your
  565. 23:04face is saying something though.
  566. 23:08I think the only person is my wife
  567. 23:10probably.
  568. 23:13She's the only person. No one else. I
  569. 23:16think seriously, I think so. That's very
  570. 23:19good. Yeah. You you know because
  571. 23:21uh you know that that is that is a a big
  572. 23:25strength of a lot of uh great ones were
  573. 23:28like that. Some of it wanted it. Some
  574. 23:31people wanted like Michael Jordan's was
  575. 23:34he he wanted you to say something to him
  576. 23:36and then he would convince himself that
  577. 23:38you said something about him really bad
  578. 23:40and then he wanted to kill you. That's
  579. 23:42what Michael would talk about, you know.
  580. 23:44Yeah. But at the end end of the day, he
  581. 23:46was playing basketball, right? And I
  582. 23:48have enough of that energy that I want
  583. 23:50to I want to go in and take his head
  584. 23:52off, you know? I'm fighting. What are
  585. 23:55you telling yourself when you're looking
  586. 23:56at your opponent? Are you telling
  587. 23:57anything yourself about the opponent
  588. 23:59right before the fight or no? Before the
  589. 24:00fight, no. I'm just telling to myself
  590. 24:02that I need myself called to be
  591. 24:04calculated.
  592. 24:06This how I need
  593. 24:08myself emotions underground. I don't
  594. 24:11need my emotions at that moment. Who
  595. 24:13taught you this? Who who shared this
  596. 24:15with you? Who is it? A mentor, a coach,
  597. 24:18somebody that book or brother or family
  598. 24:21or No, it's just you. Maybe I read it
  599. 24:23somewhere because I used to read a lot
  600. 24:25of books, but it was like I always had
  601. 24:29that kind of mentality and also I I I
  602. 24:34proed that it was working for me in the
  603. 24:36in the fights. So all the time I go in
  604. 24:39I'm like my emotions are under zero
  605. 24:43underground
  606. 24:45control very calm. Yeah. Because you
  607. 24:48know when you when you think about
  608. 24:49rituals right like you're saying
  609. 24:51superstitious I remember uh back in the
  610. 24:53days Diego Sanchez I don't know if you
  611. 24:55remember Diego Sanchez one of my
  612. 24:56favorite guys to watch Yes. Yes. Yes.
  613. 25:00And he was just fire young exciting uh
  614. 25:04uh uh Ali used to predict rounds. I'm
  615. 25:07going to beat you in this round. Right.
  616. 25:08Tyson used to look at the person in the
  617. 25:10eyes until the person looked away. Like
  618. 25:12he wanted to kind of do that. Tyson Fury
  619. 25:13would sing after the fight and he would
  620. 25:16like to sing for uh the fighters. Manny
  621. 25:19Pacquiao would take ice showers, ice
  622. 25:20cold showers and pray before the fight.
  623. 25:22There was another guy uh uh uh Leoto or
  624. 25:25something. Leoto Machado where he would
  625. 25:28drink urine before a fight. I don't know
  626. 25:29if you've heard this this or not. Very
  627. 25:31weird stuff that you think about before
  628. 25:33fights. You don't have no rituals like
  629. 25:35that. No ritual. I I used to pray, of
  630. 25:37course. I used to pray and I used to
  631. 25:41Yeah, I used to pray. This is what I do
  632. 25:43all the time. I wake up in the morning,
  633. 25:45I pray and I feel thankful about
  634. 25:49everything that's happening to me for
  635. 25:50the opportunity and I thank the gods
  636. 25:54before I'm getting the victory. I'm I'm
  637. 25:56I'm thanking to him like thank you for
  638. 25:59the victory. As a kid, did you watch
  639. 26:02something a lot? like are you, you know,
  640. 26:05uh, do you link your mindset to like a
  641. 26:08Rocky? Did you watch Gladiator? Were you
  642. 26:10a movie person? Did you watch somebody
  643. 26:12as a fighter coming up? Did you aspire
  644. 26:14to be somebody? Did you look up to
  645. 26:15someone? What was it for you as a kid?
  646. 26:18As a kid, my my coach in in Gregoral
  647. 26:22wrestling, he used to say like this,
  648. 26:25like you you were you win the medals in
  649. 26:29the training. you just go to collect
  650. 26:31them in the in in the fight. So this is
  651. 26:35like my mentality, I think. So I work so
  652. 26:39hard. I know everything that I did that
  653. 26:42I did everything that I could and
  654. 26:44there's no way that I'm not going to
  655. 26:46walk out from that octagon with the
  656. 26:49victory. This how I
  657. 26:51feel
  658. 26:54really. What's the one fight where you
  659. 26:58got a call for a fight? I think it was
  660. 26:59two weeks out where you got kicked on
  661. 27:02the side. Who Who was that? The the and
  662. 27:05Jai Herbert. That's right. J Herbert.
  663. 27:07And I think even Rogan talks about this
  664. 27:09where he explains where you got kicked
  665. 27:12and you know and then everybody's like,
  666. 27:15"Oh my god, this thing's done with." And
  667. 27:16then boom, boom, boom, it's over with.
  668. 27:18Yeah. Right. Your opponents who you've
  669. 27:20gone up against, who have you fought
  670. 27:23where you sat there and when they hit
  671. 27:25you, obviously let's just say he's one
  672. 27:27of them. Who hit you where you felt the
  673. 27:29pain or you saw their technical skills
  674. 27:32to say, "This guy's legit. This guy's
  675. 27:34very capable." Your opponents, people
  676. 27:36you've gone against. The last two
  677. 27:39opponents I had, Wal and Max Holloway,
  678. 27:41they both were very skillful. What was
  679. 27:45different about Max versus Vog?
  680. 27:51What was the difference between Max and
  681. 27:53W? Good question. I never thought about
  682. 27:55that.
  683. 27:56What was the
  684. 27:59difference? I don't know. What was the
  685. 28:04difference? I felt both of them like the
  686. 28:07same way. Fast, very
  687. 28:11calculated, like they are smart people
  688. 28:13inside the octagon. They have that f IQ.
  689. 28:16You know what I mean? Normally I used to
  690. 28:18go inside the octagon and I'm I feel
  691. 28:22that I'm the smartest guy but with them
  692. 28:26I felt that they were smart
  693. 28:29also because you can be very powerful
  694. 28:33very fast but if you don't have that
  695. 28:35mentality if you don't have that fight
  696. 28:37IQ
  697. 28:39what what does that mean? What does
  698. 28:40fight IQ mean? What is being smart in
  699. 28:42the right to use the technique at the
  700. 28:44right time you
  701. 28:47know may you you have a lot of
  702. 28:50information one one thing is what you
  703. 28:52know and the other thing is what you do
  704. 28:54with what you know you know what I mean
  705. 28:57to use it at the right time so that
  706. 29:01that's for me the fact that you when you
  707. 29:03need something and you use it at the
  708. 29:05right time for example I don't know if I
  709. 29:08feel that I can beat someone with only
  710. 29:10jabs
  711. 29:12I go and I I I don't switch the strategy
  712. 29:16in in the whole fight. I do jobs job. I
  713. 29:19don't know how to explain it to you.
  714. 29:20It's it's a little bit difficult to to
  715. 29:22explain it
  716. 29:24from from a fighter's
  717. 29:26perspective. Yeah. But basically, it's
  718. 29:29to choose the right technique at the
  719. 29:31right time. And they were doing that.
  720. 29:34They know how to
  721. 29:42u I don't know how to say how to say
  722. 29:44that. Roberto, can you text that to
  723. 29:47me? Aensia.
  724. 29:50Yeah. Take away the patience from you,
  725. 29:52you know, because you go in, you're very
  726. 29:55patient. You're very patient. But there
  727. 29:57are some kind of fighters that have the
  728. 29:59ability to to take you from from your
  729. 30:02place, you know, and to make you play
  730. 30:05day game.
  731. 30:07Who who who did you fight that would
  732. 30:09talk to you and try to play mind games?
  733. 30:11Did anybody talk to you in the ring? No,
  734. 30:14no one talk to me in the ring. Usually
  735. 30:16they don't have time to talk to me
  736. 30:23because I put so much pressure of on on
  737. 30:25them that they don't have the time. They
  738. 30:28don't have even time to to breathe
  739. 30:30probably. What was it like fighting
  740. 30:32Bryce Mitchell?
  741. 30:37to be honest, he surprised me because he
  742. 30:40was the first person to take me
  743. 30:43down and he had that like proper
  744. 30:46technique for for
  745. 30:48takedowns. But in I don't know, I just
  746. 30:52felt that I break him like mentally,
  747. 30:55physically, everywhere. He he was known
  748. 30:59as a great grappler. I submit him like
  749. 31:03what you want me to do with
  750. 31:07you. He's like I don't know crazy guy.
  751. 31:10The earth is flat and what? Okay, just
  752. 31:13suppose that the earth is flat and what
  753. 31:15we do with that information, bro? The
  754. 31:17[ __ ] you talking about?
  755. 31:20So, for the record, you don't think the
  756. 31:21earth is flat?
  757. 31:23To be honest, I think that it's not flat
  758. 31:26because this is what they teach me since
  759. 31:29I was a kid. But even if it's flat, what
  760. 31:33what it change to me? What I do with
  761. 31:35that information? Okay. Uh someone comes
  762. 31:38to me, the the earth is flat. Okay, you
  763. 31:40convinced me. And what what happens now?
  764. 31:44What what are you interested in? What
  765. 31:46other things are you interested in
  766. 31:47outside of fighting?
  767. 31:50I want to I want to serve the most
  768. 31:52amount of of of people that I can. I
  769. 31:55want to Yeah. serve, inspire, motivate
  770. 31:58people. You know, again, I I asked that
  771. 32:01because right after you say, "What is it
  772. 32:03to me to know about whether the Earth is
  773. 32:06flat or not? What am I going to do with
  774. 32:07that information?" It it's it's the way
  775. 32:10I hear it is I don't need additional
  776. 32:13information in my brain. I just need to
  777. 32:14focus on the stuff that I need to study
  778. 32:16that's going to get my life to the next
  779. 32:17level. Everything else exactly, I don't
  780. 32:19need any distractions. Is that kind of
  781. 32:20how you see it? 100%. That's how I see
  782. 32:23it. like what I do with what with that
  783. 32:26information like sometime sometimes pe
  784. 32:29people want to convince you about
  785. 32:31something is like okay you're right and
  786. 32:33what what happens now what I do with
  787. 32:37that my life change I get better I make
  788. 32:42more money I don't know what happens
  789. 32:44nothing so what
  790. 32:47it's true though it's true to stay
  791. 32:49locked in and it's not easy to stay
  792. 32:51locked in Um, athletes. Are there any
  793. 32:55athletes that you now have a
  794. 32:56relationship with that they're high
  795. 32:58level athletes, competitors from
  796. 33:00different sports, soccer, football? Do
  797. 33:02any one of them did any one of them call
  798. 33:04you? And if yes, when did that happen?
  799. 33:06What was the first fight where people
  800. 33:07said this guy's
  801. 33:09special?
  802. 33:11Uh, I think that since the moment that I
  803. 33:14fought, I don't know, I when I made two
  804. 33:17fights in the UFC probably. Yeah. After
  805. 33:20that, I I I start two fights. After two
  806. 33:23fights in the UFC, I start feeling that
  807. 33:26people was reaching me out like calling
  808. 33:29me, texting me, wanted to meet me. Yeah.
  809. 33:32After two fights,
  810. 33:35of course, once you become a world
  811. 33:38champion, it's different. You defend
  812. 33:40your belt, it's different. You were the
  813. 33:42fighter of the year last year, 2024.
  814. 33:45I think that it was Pereira. They gave
  815. 33:47it to Pereira. They gave it to Pereira.
  816. 33:50Yeah. Why do I see 2024? sports fighter
  817. 33:52of the year. You
  818. 33:54because many people gave it to me but
  819. 33:58they gave it to to Alex Pere also.
  820. 34:02One or Tai who's Oh, they gave it
  821. 34:05to both of you. Oh, they give it to both
  822. 34:09of you. Yeah, I got it. Okay. And you
  823. 34:12there's a picture of the two of you guys
  824. 34:13together. Yeah. Yeah. So, you guys you
  825. 34:15guys are friends. You guys have a
  826. 34:16relationship? Not friends. I met him in
  827. 34:18in Australia. We we meet each other for
  828. 34:21for first time there in Sydney. I went
  829. 34:25there to watch my my brother fight.
  830. 34:27Yeah. Do you watch the sport yourself?
  831. 34:30Like are you also interested in watching
  832. 34:32the sport and how other people do or
  833. 34:33like this weekend Miami this fight, you
  834. 34:36know, there's going to be UFC fight
  835. 34:37here. Are you somebody that's interested
  836. 34:39in how other people will perform?
  837. 34:42Not always, but uh in this event
  838. 34:45specifically, may I watch it? But
  839. 34:48normally I I watch a lot of fights
  840. 34:50because I have a promotion in Spain and
  841. 34:52now I started to to watch a lot of
  842. 34:54fights because I I want to discover new
  843. 34:56talents and so business you're thinking
  844. 34:59from the business side. Yeah. Got it.
  845. 35:01Okay. So this card that's coming up,
  846. 35:03which fighter are you excited about?
  847. 35:04This this uh weekend's card. Uh I'm
  848. 35:07excited. I'm excited about uh we have in
  849. 35:11in the fight card against Diego Lopez.
  850. 35:14We have Patty Puml against Mike
  851. 35:18Chandler. Jai Rodriguez is like either
  852. 35:22if he's fighting or not, no one gives a
  853. 35:25[ __ ]
  854. 35:26Uh Bryce Mitchell, the same thing with
  855. 35:30uh John Sila. I don't know what to say.
  856. 35:33He's a upcoming fighter.
  857. 35:37And that fight I don't know. Danny get
  858. 35:41the same thing. So which which one of
  859. 35:43them? Go back up top. Rob. So the Patty
  860. 35:47one. Patty Chandler should be exciting.
  861. 35:50Yeah, he needs to win. Who? Chandler.
  862. 35:53No, no, no. He's he's fighting with with
  863. 35:56a veteran, you know. He needs to win.
  864. 35:59And hopefully he he he w he wins
  865. 36:03because May, who knows, may in the
  866. 36:06future we we face each other. It could
  867. 36:09be a great fight. You and Patty. Me and
  868. 36:11Patty.
  869. 36:13I'm looking forward for for that fight.
  870. 36:15Did Did some Was it something happened
  871. 36:17with you and Patty or Yeah, something
  872. 36:19happened with you guys, right? What was
  873. 36:20that all about? I saw the video.
  874. 36:23He said some stupid [ __ ] about Georgia,
  875. 36:26about about my country. He said
  876. 36:28something like, "Now I understand why
  877. 36:31Russia is throwing bombs to Georgia."
  878. 36:34And like, bro, you never live in a
  879. 36:37situation where you your country had a
  880. 36:39war. I lived there in 2008. Don't joke
  881. 36:43with that.
  882. 36:46Got it. So that's what the context was
  883. 36:48about. Yeah. And what prompted him to
  884. 36:51say something like that? I don't know to
  885. 36:53be honest. I don't know.
  886. 36:58Wow. You know, he said that to your face
  887. 37:01or he said that on Twitter? No, he said
  888. 37:02that on Twitter and I was like, I got
  889. 37:05it. I And then you went and you were
  890. 37:07guys were at the same event and you ran
  891. 37:09into each other. Exactly. Oh, I got I
  892. 37:11saw him and I went to after him like
  893. 37:15boom. And it wasn't promotional. It was
  894. 37:17it was it was very real raw because it's
  895. 37:19not like it's a fight you guys are
  896. 37:20promoting together. How can you say this
  897. 37:22kind of stoppage [ __ ] You know what I
  898. 37:24mean? You can't joke. Sport is sport. We
  899. 37:26athletes. I respect all of that. But
  900. 37:30there are lines that you can't cross.
  901. 37:32You know the people's life are are
  902. 37:35involved in in in this joke. You can't
  903. 37:38do that. Where is this at? Where is this
  904. 37:40location? In London. This is in London.
  905. 37:42How long ago? Oh, this was a while back.
  906. 37:44This is three years ago. Yeah, three
  907. 37:45years ago. Okay, got it. So, hopefully
  908. 37:48hopefully he puts himself in the spot
  909. 37:51where we can share the octagon one day
  910. 37:56and he's going to realize. So, you want
  911. 38:00to fight him?
  912. 38:02I want to fight him. Of course, I want
  913. 38:05it. Of course. while I'm a active
  914. 38:08fighter. If he we right now we are in
  915. 38:11the same weight
  916. 38:13division. Yeah. Look how fat he looks.
  917. 38:18But he does that quite often, right? He
  918. 38:20puts on the weight and he trims down. He
  919. 38:21puts on the weight and he trims down.
  920. 38:23Pimple. That's part of his uh little
  921. 38:25pimple. Little pimple. Yeah. Party
  922. 38:28pimple. Pimplet.
  923. 38:31Yeah. He gets so fat. I don't know.
  924. 38:37anti-athletic and to be honest I don't
  925. 38:39know what to tell you if he's a good
  926. 38:40fighter he's not a good fighter some
  927. 38:43sometimes he his fight sucks sometimes
  928. 38:47he does something that looks good some I
  929. 38:50don't know he's a very average average
  930. 38:53level of fighter let's say like that so
  931. 38:55so you think the fight oh wow I is that
  932. 38:59AI or is that real right no that's real
  933. 39:01he gets fats
  934. 39:04There's no way that that's a do. I don't
  935. 39:06I don't Click on the picture, Rob. I
  936. 39:10mean, I knew he put on weight, but
  937. 39:11that's a lot of weight right there.
  938. 39:13Yeah. Oh, wow. That looks like a real
  939. 39:15photo.
  940. 39:17That's That's not his brother or like a
  941. 39:18relative or that's him. No, I'm not
  942. 39:20being funny. Can you see if that's
  943. 39:21actually him, Rob? Ugly as [ __ ] Wow.
  944. 39:24That is that's unbelievable.
  945. 39:26Yeah. I mean, you know, there was a
  946. 39:28bodybuilder uh his name is Kevin Levon.
  947. 39:31uh Levrone, one of the greatest
  948. 39:32physiques in bodybuilding ever. To me, I
  949. 39:35think it's a top five physique of all
  950. 39:36time. He used to just completely get
  951. 39:39skinny. This is his physique, by the
  952. 39:41way. One of the greatest bodybuilders of
  953. 39:42all time back in the days in the 90s, he
  954. 39:44played second place multiple times. He
  955. 39:46should have won a couple of them. Never
  956. 39:47ended up winning one. He gets big also.
  957. 39:50He gets super big, then he gets super
  958. 39:52small, and then look what would happen.
  959. 39:54And then he gets super big, and he would
  960. 39:55get super small. But a different kind of
  961. 39:58a uh this is the opposite of what
  962. 39:59Patty's doing.
  963. 40:01Um very different story with what
  964. 40:03Patty's doing, but it was a massive uh
  965. 40:07body transformation. Uh it is. Yeah. So
  966. 40:11if other weight classes when it comes
  967. 40:14down to fighters, like who do you like
  968. 40:16to watch? Is there anyone you like to
  969. 40:17watch? Like did you like to watch, you
  970. 40:20know, Jon Jones? Are you who were who
  971. 40:22were some of the guys you personally
  972. 40:23like to watch fight?
  973. 40:26Let let's say like that I would pay a
  974. 40:29pay-per-view for to
  975. 40:32watch someone fight right
  976. 40:38now. I don't know who it it it will be.
  977. 40:42Mab I love him watch
  978. 40:46I love watching him fight his last
  979. 40:49fight. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. You
  980. 40:52got to watch that fight. Did you watch
  981. 40:54it? me. Who was it with?
  982. 40:58With the cousin of of Kabib
  983. 41:03Abdul. Bro, can you pull up the fight? I
  984. 41:06watch his fights. Whoever he fought, I
  985. 41:08probably
  986. 41:10Omaro. That fight was amazing. I watched
  987. 41:14that fight I don't know how many times.
  988. 41:16I love Really? Yeah.
  989. 41:20Can you see who he fought last? I'm
  990. 41:21curious now.
  991. 41:24No, he fought Umar Numar Romelo.
  992. 41:28Yeah. And he's fighting now again the
  993. 41:32rematch against Shauna Amali.
  994. 41:35Yeah, of course I watch his fight. That
  995. 41:36was a great fight. That was a great
  996. 41:37fight. Yeah. Yeah. You you wonder. So
  997. 41:40for you, you say you you're selective on
  998. 41:42who you would pay to watch fight
  999. 41:43pay-per-view. Yeah.
1000. 41:46So your style coming up, what what makes
1001. 41:49you as a fighter different than your
1002. 41:51peers? You started training very early
  1003. 41:53if I'm not mistaken. I think you started
1004. 41:54training at five years old to do
1005. 41:56wrestling. I start with you though. Got
1006. 41:59it. Then we moved to from Germany to
1007. 42:04Georgia. We start with with the Greco
  1008. 42:07wrestling. Then with when I was 15 years
1009. 42:10old, we moved to Spain. And finally we
1010. 42:13we start with with MMA with the mixed
  1011. 42:15martial arts. At 15 years old, you're
  1012. 42:19living where? You're living in Georgia.
1013. 42:22At 15, I was living in Georgia and we
1014. 42:24moved to Spain. Okay. So, what was the
1015. 42:28culture of where you were living? Was it
1016. 42:30a fight culture? Was there a lot of
1017. 42:32people that fought or No, you were part
1018. 42:33of very small. No one. Oh, really? No
1019. 42:36one. If you would say to someone 10
1020. 42:38years ago in Spain that you were doing
1021. 42:42MMA, they would look at you and like,
1022. 42:45"Kid, take a book, read something, live
1023. 42:48that crazy, crazy thing." Yeah. Don't go
1024. 42:51that route. Don't Yeah. So, so, so who
1025. 42:55did you train with in in Spain at 15, 16
1026. 42:58years old? I find uh actually my mom
1027. 43:01find completely by chance a gym where we
1028. 43:06start training me and my brother because
1029. 43:08we wanted to keep with the with the with
1030. 43:10the Greg Roman wrestling but they didn't
1031. 43:11had the culture of that sport. So by
  1032. 43:15chance we find this
1033. 43:16gym and we we meet the sport. I didn't
1034. 43:19even know what jiujitsu was, what MMA
  1035. 43:22was. I didn't know anything about the
1036. 43:25that that word. So, we discovered and I
1037. 43:29fell in love since the first second.
1038. 43:31What's the age difference between you
1039. 43:32and your brother? One year. He's older.
1040. 43:35He's older. Yeah. Would he bully you as
1041. 43:37a kid? If he was a bully with Did he
1042. 43:40bully you as a kid? Did he push you
1043. 43:41around? Uh, no. No. No. Never. You guys
1044. 43:44were close. Close. Close. We fought a
1045. 43:46lot with with each other like every
1046. 43:48brother, but he never bullied me. Okay.
1047. 43:51But you guys would fight a lot. So,
1048. 43:54um, up until what age? Cuz if you guys
  1049. 43:57are training together, there's advantage
1050. 43:58if both brothers are like, you know,
1051. 44:00there's this, uh, um, Can you pull up
  1052. 44:02his brother's picture if you don't mind,
  1053. 44:04Rob? There's there's advantage. There's
1054. 44:06this guy named um, uh, Lavar Ball. Lavar
1055. 44:10Ball. Is that the father's name, Rob?
1056. 44:12Uh, uh, is it Lavar Ball? I believe so.
1057. 44:15Yes. Lavar. Lavar. And his three sons,
1058. 44:18they all uh, play basketball. Okay. All
1059. 44:20three of them. And you have the oldest
1060. 44:23makes it in the NBA. I think you have
1061. 44:25the second one almost made it. And the
1062. 44:27third one I think youngest one is Lonzo.
1063. 44:29Lonzo is probably the best one out of
1064. 44:30the three. The youngest one. Okay. And
1065. 44:33but they were all basketball players.
1066. 44:34Don't say that. Don't compare never ever
1067. 44:36brothers between each others. They hate
1068. 44:39it. They they hate it. But you know why
  1069. 44:41I asked this question? I don't ask it
1070. 44:42from the standpoint. The the older
1071. 44:44brother typically helps the younger
1072. 44:46brother become better at whatever they
1073. 44:48do. They play a role of a mentor. Yeah.
1074. 44:51What's what's the dynamics of you and
  1075. 44:52your brother? What's your relationship
1076. 44:54like that? Same. Okay. At uh at some
  1077. 44:57point he became my
1078. 44:59my like head coach. He was in charge of
1079. 45:05all my trainings. Yeah. He was like kind
1080. 45:08of my mentor at at some point. Yeah. He
1081. 45:12helped me a lot. And the of course it's
1082. 45:14a huge advantage to have a brother doing
1083. 45:17the same thing with you. We were going
  1084. 45:19in the morning the
1085. 45:21first people to go in in in in the gym
1086. 45:24and the last ones to live it.
1087. 45:27At what point did the two of you guys
  1088. 45:29build a reputation? Like listen, don't
1089. 45:31mess with the Torio brothers. At what
  1090. 45:33age was their reputation?
  1091. 45:36Uh
  1092. 45:38[Laughter]
  1093. 45:42uh they're going to hate it. I think
  1094. 45:45like since the first day I don't know
1095. 45:48since the the first year since the the
1096. 45:50moment where whenever we we we're going
1097. 45:53the people were meeting us. It's not
1098. 45:56like don't miss with them because they
  1099. 45:58are I don't know they going to [ __ ] you
1100. 46:00up. Not because of that.
1101. 46:03We got people. We have great
  1102. 46:04relationship with with the people. It's
1103. 46:06not because we are aggressive. You know
1104. 46:08what I mean? I know how to treat people
  1105. 46:10and I trade people how I I I I like to
  1106. 46:13be treat treated.
1107. 46:15Did Did any kids at a young age try you
1108. 46:19guys that maybe didn't know that they
1109. 46:20tested you and then they had to learn
1110. 46:22that you guys know how to fight or not a
1111. 46:23lot? It happens only only once like a
1112. 46:26random fight in the street,
  1113. 46:29but I don't remember a lot of them. It's
1114. 46:32funny you say and Georgie I was fighting
1115. 46:34every day in the streets. Yeah, in the
1116. 46:38school. In the school I was fighting. So
1117. 46:39people were picking you. You were
1118. 46:40starting the fights or they were
1119. 46:42starting the fights? To be honest, I
1120. 46:45always had problems with people that
  1121. 46:47were
1122. 46:48bully w with the weak, you know. I hated
  1123. 46:51that since I was a kid. So I always had
  1124. 46:55problems with people
1125. 46:57that was bully were bully with others.
1126. 47:02Who's the biggest guy you ever took
  1127. 47:04down?
1128. 47:06the biggest guy like the biggest guy
1129. 47:08that tested you at a bar at a you know
1130. 47:13in trainings it it happens to me many
1131. 47:15many many times like when I was 15 years
1132. 47:17old a lot of big guys like security guys
1133. 47:20that were that they were working in um
  1134. 47:23like a
1135. 47:24securities they were coming to the gym
1136. 47:27and when the time was coming for
1137. 47:30sparring my coach was like okay uh go
1138. 47:33with Ilia they were looking to me like,
1139. 47:35"No, but he's too small. Go with him."
  1140. 47:38And I'm like, "Now you're going to find
1141. 47:42out." And after that, I was I was going
1142. 47:45to that nightclub and they were like,
1143. 47:47"No, come coming." Respect. Yeah.
1144. 47:50Respect. How old were you when you were
1145. 47:52going to the nightclub? I'm not going to
1146. 47:54repeat that. You just said, "No way.
1147. 47:58I'm not going to repeat that." That is
1148. 48:00fun. So you you and your brother were,
1149. 48:02you know, super tight till today. Very
1150. 48:04close. Yeah, very close. And when you
1151. 48:06have the big fights, is he always in the
1152. 48:08corner with you? Always. Always. Always.
1153. 48:10He's the main man. Got it. Yeah.
1154. 48:12Nowadays, more than ever, the brand you
1155. 48:15wear reflects and represent who you are.
1156. 48:17So for us, if you wear a future looks
1157. 48:20bright hat or a value taming gear,
  1158. 48:22you're telling the world, I'm
  1159. 48:24optimistic. I'm excited about what's
  1160. 48:26going to be happening. But you're a
1161. 48:27freethinker. You question things. You
1162. 48:28like debate. And by the way, last year
1163. 48:31120,000 people got a piece of future
1164. 48:35looks bright gear with value tamement.
1165. 48:36We have so many new things. The cuff
1166. 48:38links are here. New future looks bright.
1167. 48:41This is my favorite, the green one. Just
1168. 48:43yesterday, somebody placed an order for
1169. 48:45a hundred of these. If you watch the PBD
1170. 48:48podcast, you got a bunch to choose from.
1171. 48:50White ones, black ones. I I if you if
1172. 48:53you if you smoke cigars and you come to
1173. 48:55our cigar lounge, we have this high
1174. 48:57quality lighter cutter and a holder for
1175. 49:00the cigars. We got sweaters with the
1176. 49:02Value Tamement logo on it. We got mugs.
1177. 49:04We got a bunch of different things. But
1178. 49:06if you believe the future looks bright
1179. 49:08if you follow our content and what we
1180. 49:11represent with Value Tamement with with
1181. 49:13PVD podcast, go to vtmerch.com. And by
1182. 49:16the way, if you order right now, there's
1183. 49:17going to be a special VT gift inside
1184. 49:20just for you. So again, go to vtver.com,
1185. 49:22place your order, tell the world that
1186. 49:25you believe the future looks bright.
1187. 49:26Have Have you guys spent any time with
1188. 49:28Nate and Nick Diaz or No, never. Never.
1189. 49:31No. What do you think about those guys?
1190. 49:34I like them. The charact the character
1191. 49:35they represent in the sport. I always
1192. 49:37like it. They were so much fun to watch.
1193. 49:40So much fun to watch. They always
1194. 49:42provide a show for the fans in the most
1195. 49:45unique way. But they would do it.
  1196. 49:49You can't copy that. No, you can't copy
1197. 49:51that. Special. They are very special.
1198. 49:53Who were your favorite fighters coming
1199. 49:54up? Like f I know we talk about Conor,
1200. 49:56we talk Diaz, but who were some of your
1201. 49:58favorite fight? You and your brother,
  1202. 49:59you're like, "Oh, this guy's good. I
1203. 50:01like watching this guy." We like from
1204. 50:04MMA or anything. We liked a lot Canelo.
1205. 50:09Canelo was and it's one of my favorite
1206. 50:13athletes. Yeah, I learned so much from
1207. 50:15him. Why Canelo? Technical skills.
1208. 50:17technical skills I learned like we were
1209. 50:20watching his videos, his training
1210. 50:22footage, like everything and we were
1211. 50:25trying to to copy that, to repeat that.
1212. 50:27He inspired us a lot. Have you ever met
1213. 50:30him or No, no, never. So, you guys have
1214. 50:32never trained? Never. Hopefully, one day
1215. 50:34I I met him in in person. Wow. Let me
1216. 50:39ask you like in in the specific boxing
1217. 50:42side, right? like when they ask him
1218. 50:44they're like, "Hey, Jake Paul, uh, you
1219. 50:46know, fighting as Canelo to Canelo is
  1220. 50:49like, you know, it's a very different
1221. 50:50world." Is your technical abilities in
1222. 50:54boxing stand up? How good do you think
1223. 50:57you stand technical abilities with
  1224. 50:59somebody that's a professional boxer?
  1225. 51:02Okay. Don't say Canelo because I
  1226. 51:04wouldn't fight him because he's somebody
1227. 51:07you look up to. Yeah. Yeah. He inspired
1228. 51:08me so much at some point as I said like
1229. 51:11I would fight. No, no, no. I
1230. 51:13wouldn't if I prepare for six months
  1231. 51:17like only boxing. I don't do anything
  1232. 51:20about wrestling, about I don't know
1233. 51:23knees, elbows, grappling, whatever. Only
1234. 51:27boxing, bro. Put me whoever you want in
  1235. 51:29front of
  1236. 51:30me. Whoever. Whoever. And I hear a lot
1237. 51:34of guys talking about like boxers. No,
1238. 51:36Elia, he he has a good box boxing for
1239. 51:39MMA, but he has nothing to do with me in
1240. 51:41in in the boxing ring. I'm like, listen,
1241. 51:46you don't have anything to do with me
1242. 51:48outside, inside, whatever you want.
1243. 51:50Like, what you want to do? Even Even if
1244. 51:53you want to play a chess match, I beat
1245. 51:56you. Why do you think that? Why do you
  1246. 51:59believe that? Because I know how good I
1247. 52:01am in boxing. I train every day boxing
  1248. 52:04every day. That's part of my life. I
1249. 52:07spar with with pro pro boxers. I learn
  1250. 52:11boxing. I I like I don't know. I
  1251. 52:15consider myself
1252. 52:17that I can box with with anyone. Just
  1253. 52:20give me six
  1254. 52:21months only boxing preparation. I'm not
1255. 52:24even telling you like three because I
1256. 52:26need to to switch so many things that I
1257. 52:30do it because of MMA like the stance the
1258. 52:33movement is a little bit different for
1259. 52:35the boxing of MMA than for boxing boxing
1260. 52:39for pure makes sense and by the way for
1261. 52:41a long I mean Max Holloways was known
1262. 52:43you know as a guy that he would say he
1263. 52:46had the best standup. No no no he would
1264. 52:48say he was saying that but that wasn't
  1265. 52:51the truth. So you don't even think he's
1266. 52:52the best standup? No, no, no. Compared
1267. 52:55to you or compared to anybody
  1268. 52:57else com,
1269. 53:01it's not like take me out from the
  1270. 53:04equation. Yeah. Like I don't think that
1271. 53:07I saw anyone in in in MMA that I was
  1272. 53:12like he has a great
1273. 53:15boxing. No one. It doesn't matter from
1274. 53:22you see he was one of those but even
1275. 53:25Connor he had a great boxing for MMA
  1276. 53:30uh
  1277. 53:31very I don't
1278. 53:33know MMA stance you know in boxing you
  1279. 53:36can't go like that
1280. 53:38because you are going to
1281. 53:41suffer but he had better better boxing
1282. 53:44than a lot of people he had
  1283. 53:47But
1284. 53:49Max, you know, boxing is about simple
1285. 53:52movements. You can do so much movements
  1286. 53:54and switch the
1287. 53:55standard switch the stands all the time.
1288. 54:00That's not boxing. In boxing, you have
1289. 54:02to be like very disciplined all the time
1290. 54:07and very protected. You have to select
1291. 54:10all your combinations. You have to move
1292. 54:12your head and you have to be very good
1293. 54:15to administrate your energy, you know,
  1294. 54:17because you have 12 rounds and that's a
  1295. 54:20completely different different
1296. 54:22movie. You your match up with Makv,
1297. 54:25where do you have the advantage and
  1298. 54:26where does he
  1299. 54:29[Music]
1300. 54:34uh this is what what I told you. You ask
1301. 54:36me, I feel that I have the advantage in
1302. 54:39in everything. This is what what what I
1303. 54:42truly believe you me personally I would
  1304. 54:45ask him like what's your favorite
  1305. 54:48submission whatever I don't know dark
1306. 54:51joke I'm going to submit you with
1307. 55:00that so if if you ask him what his
1308. 55:03favorite submission is you would do that
  1309. 55:05to him
  1310. 55:08this is a guy that's trained and coached
1311. 55:10by Khabib who you know 28 and0 you know
1312. 55:14stories that never lost a round in his
1313. 55:16life. I take him close to Khabib. I will
  1314. 55:18submit him closer to Khabib. You'll
1315. 55:21submit him in front of Kabib. Yeah.
1316. 55:25I take him Khabib used to take people
1317. 55:28and he should take take them down and
1318. 55:31talk to Dana. I would do it to Khabib
1319. 55:33like I will take him but and then talk
1320. 55:35to Kabib. Talk to Khabib. Kabib, I have
  1321. 55:38to do it.
  1322. 55:42What would you tell him? No, I wouldn't.
1323. 55:44I wouldn't like all the respect. But
  1324. 55:47this is how I felt. I felt that I I I
1325. 55:49submit him with with the DAR. Like
1326. 55:51what's which one is your favorite? Dar,
1327. 55:53you're not joking. Whatever he tells
1328. 55:55you, you This one I'm not joking. Like I
1329. 55:57I truly believe that I I submit him with
  1330. 56:00the DAR or whatever. I don't know. Tell
  1331. 56:02me which one's your favorite. Don't tell
1332. 56:04me a hell hook or some bulls. Bulls.
  1333. 56:06submissions that I don't know. Now I'm
  1334. 56:10curious. Now, now I'm actually curious
1335. 56:12to know what would be his what do you
1336. 56:13think his favorite would be? Um I think
1337. 56:17Dar or Guillotin. And if he says that
  1338. 56:20Yeah, I go for that. No problem. It's
1339. 56:22going to be even more entertaining for
  1340. 56:24me.
1341. 56:26Yeah. The people didn't realize that my
1342. 56:30background comes from wrestling from the
1343. 56:33ground game. I actually I grew up in in
1344. 56:36in with wrestling and with with BJJ and
  1345. 56:40I developed my
1346. 56:42skills at at when I was 20 years old in
1347. 56:46in boxing game but my my best
1348. 56:52skills yeah are on the ground. It's so
1349. 56:55weird that you did this in Georgia and
  1350. 56:58Spain. Who's there? who I mean do you
1351. 57:01understand like it's kind of weird to
1352. 57:03say that that because some of the guys
1353. 57:05you're coming from this camp okay you
1354. 57:07know he is he comes from what camp we
  1355. 57:11know what camp he's coming from we've
1356. 57:13seen the videos we've seen the training
1357. 57:15we've seen how disciplined their camp is
  1358. 57:17and everyone's from a different camp who
  1359. 57:20who else is a very well-known person
1360. 57:22from the camp that you came up of
1361. 57:24outside of you and your brother who is
1362. 57:26wellknown Ilia that's weird it is it
  1363. 57:31But that's why God's everywhere.
  1364. 57:34He's everywhere. God's everywhere.
  1365. 57:38[Laughter]
  1366. 57:40Yeah, that's uh it's weird. It is weird.
1367. 57:43That's the part that's very weird with
1368. 57:44you where you know where did this come
1369. 57:46from? Do you think it Well, I mean it's
1370. 57:47not even that because you have access to
1371. 57:49everything. Would you guys watch a lot
1372. 57:51of YouTube and kind of repeated you and
1373. 57:52your brother and watch what he That's
1374. 57:54why I told you we were the first people
1375. 57:56to go into the gym. Uh we were taking
  1376. 57:58our phones watching the videos I don't
1377. 58:01know drills in in BJJ for example drill
1378. 58:04to take to take someone's back and we
1379. 58:07were drilling that the whole day all the
1380. 58:09drilling uh single legs double legs I
1381. 58:12don't know the cage work boxing
  1382. 58:14kickboxing elbows knees I don't know
1383. 58:18whatever how can we develop our ki or or
1384. 58:21stren or power or whatever I was like so
  1385. 58:26obsessed
1386. 58:27with everything. I was working all day,
1387. 58:29every day. That was my obsession, all
  1388. 58:33the time. But there's not a professional
  1389. 58:35UFC fighter that's coaching you guys
1390. 58:37with your career. No. So, what is your
1391. 58:39first Not even a professional boxer or
1392. 58:42professional at all? No one. IA. That's
1393. 58:45weird. Yeah, it is. That That's very
1394. 58:47weird. So, what is the first interaction
1395. 58:49like the the way you were found? How how
1396. 58:52were you found? Who found you? Who saw
1397. 58:54you fight to say, "Hey, come on down."
1398. 58:55Or did you say I'm coming into the UFC
  1399. 58:57to fight?
1400. 59:00No. So I had four fights when I started
1401. 59:03with my professional career in in Spain
1402. 59:05and at that point become very difficult
1403. 59:09to find a fight for me because in Spain
1404. 59:11at that point we didn't even had an
  1405. 59:14events you know
  1406. 59:16so I was
1407. 59:18like listen I have to do something
1408. 59:20because no one is going to come to me
1409. 59:22and touch my door. How old were you at
  1410. 59:23this time?
  1411. 59:2418. Okay. So, 10 years ago. Yeah. 18.
  1412. 59:27Okay. So, 18. 2015. Yeah. Who Who's on
1413. 59:31top of the world in 2015? Connor is on
1414. 59:33top of the world, right? Is UFC is
1415. 59:35Connor and Jo Jones, Jose Pier, all all.
  1416. 59:41Yeah. Those I think.
1417. 59:46Who were the biggest names of UFC in
1418. 59:482015? Conor, Holly Holm, go a little bit
1419. 59:51lower. Ronda Rousey, Daniel Cormier,
1420. 59:53John. Okay. Yeah, got it. So, I'm like,
1421. 59:59I have to do something. I need a plan.
1422. 1:00:02Demetrius Johnson. Yeah. So, you need a
1423. 1:00:04plan. So, I start to talk to myself. I'm
1424. 1:00:07like, what can I do? And that that point
  1425. 1:00:11Gustafson, Alexander Gustafson, was
1426. 1:00:14fighting for the belt against John
1427. 1:00:16Jones. And that guy was training in in
1428. 1:00:19Sweden in Allst Star gym at that time.
1429. 1:00:22And that was the the the most recognized
1430. 1:00:26like gym in Europe. And I'm like I have
  1431. 1:00:29to go there because I'm sure that he's
1432. 1:00:32monitor or someone is going to Sweden in
  1433. 1:00:35Sweden in
  1434. 1:00:37Stockholm. So I'm like I I need to go
1435. 1:00:40there because I know that someone is
1436. 1:00:43going to see me and the only thing I
  1437. 1:00:45need is I need an opportunity. I need a
  1438. 1:00:47I need a fight. I need to prove
  1439. 1:00:49my my
1440. 1:00:52skills. Then I had the second problem
  1441. 1:00:54that I didn't have enough money to to
1442. 1:00:56travel because you need money to to go
1443. 1:00:58from Spain to to Sweden and stay there,
1444. 1:01:01I don't know, for two weeks, three
  1445. 1:01:02weeks, whatever. So I did, I don't know,
  1446. 1:01:05crazy things with with when I was 18
  1447. 1:01:08years old. I went to that
1448. 1:01:11place. I went to my my first training. I
1449. 1:01:15finished the training and the guy who
1450. 1:01:17who was representing everyone at that
1451. 1:01:19time and actually he's the manager of
1452. 1:01:21Kamzad also at this time Kamzad Chimay
1453. 1:01:23you know he came to me and he was like
1454. 1:01:28do you have some someone to that is
1455. 1:01:31representing you and I'm like no who who
1456. 1:01:33did he see you train who who did he see
1457. 1:01:34you spar that guy this guy yeah this guy
1458. 1:01:37saw saw me in in in the training with
1459. 1:01:39everyone in the mat oh but there's not a
1460. 1:01:41fight that he saw you he's just watching
1461. 1:01:42you on the mat exactly he saw training
1462. 1:01:45with with everyone, you know, purely
1463. 1:01:47ground, no boxing, nothing yet. I think
1464. 1:01:50we did a little bit of boxing. We we we
1465. 1:01:53mix it up. We did something in the
1466. 1:01:55ground. We did something with in in the
  1467. 1:01:57striking. And once I finished the
1468. 1:02:00training, he came to me and he asked me
  1469. 1:02:01like, "Do you have a a manager?" I'm
1470. 1:02:04like, "No. Do you want me to represent
1471. 1:02:06you?" And I'm like, "This is why I came
  1472. 1:02:09here." And in three
1473. 1:02:12weeks, he called me. No. And one week he
1474. 1:02:15called me like I have a fight for you.
1475. 1:02:17And I started my my journey there and
1476. 1:02:21the rest is history. Who was your first
  1477. 1:02:23fight? I start I started to fight in
1478. 1:02:26Finland. My first international fight.
1479. 1:02:29Who who was it with? Uh it
  1480. 1:02:32was Mika. I don't I don't remember. He
1481. 1:02:37Can you look this up? I'm actually
1482. 1:02:38really curious. So So this is Watch that
  1483. 1:02:42fight.
1484. 1:02:44I finished him in the first
1485. 1:02:46round. Then after that one in three and
1486. 1:02:49a half weeks, he called me and he he
1487. 1:02:52gave me the the the fight for the Cage
1488. 1:02:54Warriors World Championship. So this is
1489. 1:02:57not UFC yet. No, no, no, no, no. This is
1490. 1:02:59not UFC. Look, no, the the Mika. There's
1491. 1:03:03Mika is I had four fights and I went to
1492. 1:03:06Sweden and he gave me that fight. Mika
1493. 1:03:11Hamal. Yeah. Submission guillotine show.
1494. 1:03:13Yeah. In the first round. First round
1495. 1:03:15335. After that fight, he called me in a
1496. 1:03:19three and a half weeks or four weeks.
  1497. 1:03:20Look, I fought April 28th. 6 weeks
1498. 1:03:24later. Yeah. Something like that. Mhm.
  1499. 1:03:27Then I fought June 16 for the Cage
  1500. 1:03:30Warriors uh world
  1501. 1:03:33championship. Then I was signed by
1502. 1:03:37Brave. I did uh two fights and I get the
1503. 1:03:41call from the UFC. Oh, got it. So,
1504. 1:03:44you're Ysef Salal is your first UFC
1505. 1:03:46fight. Yeah. So, each one of those
1506. 1:03:48fights back to back to back it's first
1507. 1:03:50round. Go back down a little bit, Rob.
1508. 1:03:51Right there. Look at first round. Ma
1509. 1:03:53335, first round 139. Keep going up.
1510. 1:03:57First round 115. Lewis Gomez first round
1511. 1:03:59342. Stephen uh going Calves and then
1512. 1:04:02you're in the UFC. Yeah.
1513. 1:04:05And then you win third round five
1514. 1:04:07minutes. Yeah. I get the call. Oh,
  1515. 1:04:10that's co. Yeah, that's co. I was sick
1516. 1:04:14and they called me and they told me, "Do
1517. 1:04:16you want to fight in the UFC in 8 days?"
1518. 1:04:20And I'm like, "Of course." I had to cut
  1519. 1:04:22like 12 kilos
  1520. 1:04:25um kilos. Kilos like I don't know how
1521. 1:04:28much is like 25 pounds, something like
  1522. 1:04:30that. It's a lot in 8 days. That's a
  1523. 1:04:32lot. Holy [ __ ] I had to fight at 400
1524. 1:04:36p.m. local time in Abu Dhabi because
  1525. 1:04:38they were like
1526. 1:04:4126 pounds you had to lose at at this
  1527. 1:04:43weight. Yeah. In 8 days. H how'd you
  1528. 1:04:47lose 26 in 8 days? It's like
  1529. 1:04:50dehydration.
  1530. 1:04:53That's tough. That's a lot on that body.
  1531. 1:04:55That's a lot. I'm I'm 245. If I lose 26
  1532. 1:04:59pounds is a lot. But I had to spend a
1533. 1:05:02day in the hospital because the UFC is
1534. 1:05:04asking you for a lot of um medical
  1535. 1:05:08medicals. Then I had to go I spend a day
  1536. 1:05:11to get my visa. I don't know. I had in
  1537. 1:05:15reality five days.
1538. 1:05:17So crazy. So you go to UAE for the
1539. 1:05:20fight. Rob, can you go back to the fight
1540. 1:05:21list? So you go to UAE, you have that
  1541. 1:05:25fight. Yeah. October 11. Mhm. I remember
1542. 1:05:30that. I watched that card. Yeah. And
  1543. 1:05:33then I fought
  1544. 1:05:35December 5th. And that's ESPN. Yeah.
1545. 1:05:39It's not even a main ones yet. No. And
1546. 1:05:42then go to Ryan Hall
1547. 1:05:45Vegas. Jen Jai Herbert. That's the one
1548. 1:05:47with the kick. That's the one that they
1549. 1:05:49gave you two weeks, right? When they
1550. 1:05:51called you two week prep. Which one? The
1551. 1:05:53J Herbert. Yes. Uh that has a huge story
  1552. 1:05:57behind that. that I have a huge story
1553. 1:05:59behind that fight because I was supposed
1554. 1:06:01to fight in January against
1555. 1:06:04Mosarv. He pulled out from the
  1556. 1:06:08fight. Then I I I came back to home and
1557. 1:06:11they called me. But in reality, I I was
1558. 1:06:13prepared. I was prepared. But it it was
1559. 1:06:15a different weight class. I went up to
1560. 1:06:17155. That fight is not in my weight
  1561. 1:06:19class. It's in light.
  1562. 1:06:22So that's not 145. You want the 155. So
1563. 1:06:25that happens if they just call you to
1564. 1:06:27say, "Do you want to take a fight that's
1565. 1:06:28not at your weight class?" They can make
1566. 1:06:29those calls. Yeah. And you get to say
1567. 1:06:32yes or no. Yeah. Of course. You always
1568. 1:06:34have a choose. Got it. And then after
  1569. 1:06:37that, I follow with your friend,
1570. 1:06:42Bryce Mitchell, and then Josh. Yeah. We
1571. 1:06:44wish him best of luck.
  1572. 1:06:47You're being sincere. What? You're being
1573. 1:06:50sincere or you're joking? No, no, no,
1574. 1:06:52no. I wish him all the best. I hope the
  1575. 1:06:54best wins. Yeah.
  1576. 1:06:57What a
1577. 1:06:58story. Everything started from Sweden in
1578. 1:07:01reality. Wow. You went to Sweden this
1579. 1:07:03guy. This is what I used to say to
1580. 1:07:05everyone. If you want if you want to
1581. 1:07:06have something that you never had, you
1582. 1:07:08have to do things that you never
1583. 1:07:10did. Move your ass. Yeah. But but what
1584. 1:07:14is what is very unique about what you're
  1585. 1:07:16saying? I I told I talked about a
  1586. 1:07:18bodybuilding story earlier. I had a guy
  1587. 1:07:20named Dorian Yates. I don't know if you
1588. 1:07:21know what Dorian Yates is in
  1589. 1:07:22bodybuilding. He's he won six Mr.
1590. 1:07:24Olympias. The guy had the most
1591. 1:07:26ridiculous physique. This is Dorian
1592. 1:07:28Yates. He won six Mr. Olympia. He's from
1593. 1:07:30UK. Okay. And what made him unique is
1594. 1:07:35all the other bodybuilders that would
1595. 1:07:37compete, they were all in the US and so
1596. 1:07:41they would all train at the same gym.
1597. 1:07:43Okay? So they could see what kind of
  1598. 1:07:44improvement you're making cuz they're
1599. 1:07:46all here. Flex Wheeler, Kevin, you know,
1600. 1:07:50all the guys. This guy was in London,
1601. 1:07:52not even in London, in a city outside of
1602. 1:07:54London, like in a regular city. And you
1603. 1:07:57would only see him once a year. So
1604. 1:07:59everybody's like, "Well, is he training
1605. 1:08:00hard? Is he not training guard? Is he
1606. 1:08:01training guard?" And then when he would
1607. 1:08:03come, he was a scientist. He paid
1608. 1:08:05attention to everything and he would
1609. 1:08:07come and dominate and he won six of them
1610. 1:08:08in a row because nobody could see him.
  1611. 1:08:11Yeah. He was a real real
1612. 1:08:14um a lot of people try to model their
1613. 1:08:17bodybuilding after this guy. He does a
1614. 1:08:19very he lives a very different life
  1615. 1:08:20right now. He yoga. I don't follow that
1616. 1:08:23sport. But who who is who is the the
1617. 1:08:26number one for you in in in bodybuilding
  1618. 1:08:28ever? It's probably Ronnie Coleman,
1619. 1:08:30Arnold. Uh old school would be a guy
1620. 1:08:33named Lee Haney. Phil Heat has an
1621. 1:08:35incredible physique. Kevin Levrone Flex
  1622. 1:08:37Wheeler. Jay Cutler's got a good good
  1623. 1:08:40amount of following. It's probably this
  1624. 1:08:41guy, Ronnie
  1625. 1:08:43Coleman. He He is a He's a If you go to
1626. 1:08:46a different picture, Rob, go to images
1627. 1:08:48and and let me ask you, do you really
  1628. 1:08:50think that they
1629. 1:08:52only drink whey proteins to get this
1630. 1:08:55big? You know, you know, it's at a point
1631. 1:08:58that they tell you everything they use
1632. 1:09:00now. Yeah. Oh, yeah. But they don't do
1633. 1:09:03drug test like No, not Mr. Olympia. No,
1634. 1:09:06they don't do any drug test. No, but
1635. 1:09:07they they put so many things in their
  1636. 1:09:09body. It it's it's a it's a very But by
1637. 1:09:12the way, some people say like, you know,
1638. 1:09:15hey, even if you put it in your body,
  1639. 1:09:16that doesn't mean you're gonna win Mr.
  1640. 1:09:18Olympia. No, it's it's a lot of detail.
1641. 1:09:20It's a lot of stuff that you got to do
  1642. 1:09:22to be a These guys are a diet. It's diet
1643. 1:09:25training, by the way. It it sucks as a
  1644. 1:09:27life. It's not a good life. Sucks. It's
  1645. 1:09:29not a good life at all. Like, it's a
  1646. 1:09:31very different life. It's not even a
  1647. 1:09:32healthy life. It's not a healthy life.
1648. 1:09:33Most of them would say few of them can
1649. 1:09:35keep it. like some of the guys were able
1650. 1:09:36to continue their life and still do
  1651. 1:09:38okay, but uh it's a different life. So,
1652. 1:09:40the reason why I'm saying this is for
  1653. 1:09:42you. Here's a guy and his brother living
1654. 1:09:45in Georgia go to Spain. This is not a
1655. 1:09:47UFC market. And then you guys through
1656. 1:09:50YouTube watching videos, you train
1657. 1:09:53independently on your own. And then you
  1658. 1:09:56come
1659. 1:09:57up and then fighter of the year,
  1660. 1:10:00undefeated. Now you're at a place,
1661. 1:10:03lightweight, about to have a big fight.
1662. 1:10:05Hopefully soon. We'd love to see that
1663. 1:10:06fight happen this year. Hopefully.
  1664. 1:10:08Hopefully.
1665. 1:10:12You're waiting for that phone call, huh?
  1666. 1:10:14I'm waiting. I'm waiting. I'm waiting.
1667. 1:10:16I'm very excited to be honest. Either if
1668. 1:10:19it's Charles or Islam, it's going to be
1669. 1:10:22a huge one. And I I know that the fans
1670. 1:10:25are going to going to enjoy a lot. What
1671. 1:10:28do you think is unique about Charles
  1672. 1:10:29style because Charles, you know, it's
  1673. 1:10:31history. It's very interesting the way
1674. 1:10:33he came at the beginning and then he
1675. 1:10:35reputation he changed his reputation and
1676. 1:10:37then you would think he was going to be
1677. 1:10:38losing it and then he won with Michael
1678. 1:10:40Chandler and he had a few very good
1679. 1:10:42backto backto back wins that were
1680. 1:10:44unbelievable the way he recreated
1681. 1:10:46himself but what's your opinion on his
  1682. 1:10:48style of fighting?
1683. 1:10:53M I like him of course he he has a great
1684. 1:10:58ground game and striking nothing special
1685. 1:11:01for me and in the ground he's dangerous
1686. 1:11:04he he has the most submissions in the
1687. 1:11:07UFC history I think so him yeah I think
1688. 1:11:10so he he's a dangerous guy in in the
  1689. 1:11:13ground but I think that he's the the
1690. 1:11:16kind of guy that when He feels
1691. 1:11:22that you are more powerful. He gives
1692. 1:11:26up. He gives up like fast. I don't think
1693. 1:11:31that he's the kind of fighter where he
  1694. 1:11:33finds like
  1695. 1:11:36some
1696. 1:11:37advers how you say adversary. Yeah.
1697. 1:11:40Adversary that he keeps going, keeps
1698. 1:11:43going, keeps going. No, he's like he
  1699. 1:11:45gives up. 10 loses.
1700. 1:11:4910. It's not one, two, three, four. Can
1701. 1:11:51you go to his record? But I think it was
  1702. 1:11:53seven, eight, nine. It's 10. Go to his
1703. 1:11:56Wikipedia rap just to see how it is
  1704. 1:11:58because, you know, I've seen this guy's
  1705. 1:12:00story
1706. 1:12:01and Yeah. But the 10 losses, a lot of
1707. 1:12:05them are go back by submission, by
1708. 1:12:08knockout, and one by decision. But you
1709. 1:12:11wouldn't want to fight Arman,
1710. 1:12:14the one that's first place right now
1711. 1:12:15behind uh I think that he needs to build
1712. 1:12:19himself a little bit more, but if the
1713. 1:12:22UFC tells me that you're good with that
  1714. 1:12:24as well. It's for the belt. You'll take
1715. 1:12:26anything, right? He's going to get the
  1716. 1:12:28chance. Got it.
  1717. 1:12:31Yeah, it'll
1718. 1:12:32be it'll be interesting to see what
  1719. 1:12:35happens. The thing with him is he's 28
1720. 1:12:36years old. You guys are similar ages.
1721. 1:12:38He's also young. Yeah. Charles is 35. So
  1722. 1:12:4128-28.
1723. 1:12:42This would be He needs one one two
1724. 1:12:45fights. He needs one or two fights
  1725. 1:12:47before he fights you.
1726. 1:12:52He's Armenian, by the way.
1727. 1:12:55You ever fought an Armenian? What? Have
1728. 1:12:58you ever fought an Armenian? No. No. We
  1729. 1:13:00Georgians have a great relationship with
  1730. 1:13:02Armenians. Yeah. I have a lot of
1731. 1:13:04friends. Armenian. Armenians. You look
  1732. 1:13:06Armenian like I you know when I Yeah. I
  1733. 1:13:08mean, you look you're you're a
1734. 1:13:10good-looking Armenian is what you are.
  1735. 1:13:12You're a very good-looking guy, but
1736. 1:13:13obviously it's from the same region. My
  1737. 1:13:15mother's side, uh, they're from Baku.
1738. 1:13:18Aaran. Yeah. Baku Azaran. So, they after
1739. 1:13:22the whole everything. All our own
  1740. 1:13:23neighbors.
1741. 1:13:25Yeah. All in the same region. Do you do
1742. 1:13:28you follow any of the politics like with
1743. 1:13:29what's going on with Ukraine and Russia?
1744. 1:13:31Do you follow any of that stuff or not
1745. 1:13:32really? Yeah, a little bit. What do you
1746. 1:13:34think about it? What do you think about
  1747. 1:13:35what's going on there?
1748. 1:13:37What do you think about Zalinski Putin?
1749. 1:13:40You know, there's how the world sees it,
1750. 1:13:42but then you're in the region, right?
1751. 1:13:44You're there. So, in America, you know,
1752. 1:13:47Putin's a bad guy. Let me tell you this,
1753. 1:13:49this, this, and that. He started the
1754. 1:13:50war. Or Zillinsky, all he wants is
1755. 1:13:52money. He's bought. He just keeps taking
1756. 1:13:54money. What do you think about what's
  1757. 1:13:56going on there?
1758. 1:13:58Even if he wants to take the money and
  1759. 1:14:00all that, I don't know. I'm
1760. 1:14:03against to kill the people always. I'm
1761. 1:14:07always going to vote for the peace
  1762. 1:14:09always.
  1763. 1:14:10So I don't know. I don't I don't I don't
1764. 1:14:12know that deep about who
  1765. 1:14:16but something that I
1766. 1:14:19know from my history from my livingings
1767. 1:14:23are that they they are the Russians
  1768. 1:14:26are Putin. Let's say like the
1769. 1:14:29politicians that run Russia because
1770. 1:14:31nothing against the people uh regular
  1771. 1:14:34people from Russia. I'm talking about
  1772. 1:14:36the
  1773. 1:14:38politicians. They don't give a damn
  1774. 1:14:40about
1775. 1:14:42anyone. Yeah. In Georgia, I was living
1776. 1:14:45in 2008. I saw what they were doing to
  1777. 1:14:48to my
  1778. 1:14:49people. So,
  1779. 1:14:52Russians. Russians. Russians. Yeah.
  1780. 1:14:54Russians.
  1781. 1:14:57I don't know. Dangerous people.
  1782. 1:14:59Dangerous people. Interesting. And I
1783. 1:15:01think that you can't trust at all in in
  1784. 1:15:06in
  1785. 1:15:07Russians. And I repeat, I'm not talking
  1786. 1:15:09about the regular people. I'm talking
  1787. 1:15:11about the
  1788. 1:15:12politicians.
  1789. 1:15:14It's it's crazy. I don't know. Is Is
  1790. 1:15:18there a Where's Kabib and Islam? Where
1791. 1:15:21are they from? They're from uh Pakistan.
  1792. 1:15:22Pakistan. That's that's part of of they
1793. 1:15:24are Russians, right? They are Russian.
1794. 1:15:26And when they start to attack any place
1795. 1:15:29in the world, the first people they send
1796. 1:15:31to the war is like Russians,
1797. 1:15:34Chnians, the people they have, not
1798. 1:15:37you're you're not going to see any
  1799. 1:15:39Russian Russian in a war. You're always
1800. 1:15:41going to see the people they have like
1801. 1:15:43call yourself a Russian, but wait for my
1802. 1:15:46call because may Why do you think that
1803. 1:15:48is? Because they use them. They of
1804. 1:15:52course they use them. They they they
  1805. 1:15:54give them a a position, a
  1806. 1:15:58place,
1807. 1:16:00but at some point I'm going to may I'm
1808. 1:16:03going to ask you to do something for me.
1809. 1:16:06That's how it works everywhere in the
1810. 1:16:08world. You do something for from for
  1811. 1:16:11someone, you want something
1812. 1:16:14back. This is how it
  1813. 1:16:16works. Yeah. It's crazy. I don't know
1814. 1:16:20what what are your thoughts from here
1815. 1:16:22from the United States? Like what do you
  1816. 1:16:24think
  1817. 1:16:25about what's going on in
1818. 1:16:29Ukraine? Well, I mean, you know, when
1819. 1:16:32you when you watch Zalinski, at first
1820. 1:16:35everybody's like, "Whoa, Putin invaded.
1821. 1:16:38What's that all about?" And then as it
1822. 1:16:40gets deeper and deeper and you hear the
1823. 1:16:43stories, the money being funneled
1824. 1:16:45through, constantly wanting the money to
1825. 1:16:48continue, coming up here talking to the
1826. 1:16:49president as if America needs to give
1827. 1:16:51him more money, disrespecting the US
1828. 1:16:54president a little bit on the way he
1829. 1:16:56handled himself at the White House. He
1830. 1:16:57has lost all credibility with a lot of
1831. 1:16:59people in America. Most Americans now
1832. 1:17:01don't fully support and trust Zillinsky.
1833. 1:17:04They see Putin as exactly who he is.
  1834. 1:17:07He's a Russia loyalist. Number one, he's
1835. 1:17:09an old school guy. Uh, but you know what
1836. 1:17:12you get with him. Yeah. You know who I
1837. 1:17:15think you can judge a whole country
  1838. 1:17:17because of of one person. I don't
  1839. 1:17:19disagree. No, I don't disagree. I think
1840. 1:17:20you're right. That goes to Iran because
  1841. 1:17:22we don't like
1842. 1:17:24Zalinski. We are not supporting the the
1843. 1:17:26Ukrainians and we are going to going to
  1844. 1:17:28say
1845. 1:17:29that the Russians are not the the lo
1846. 1:17:34Kimbaden. How you say that in English?
  1847. 1:17:37Kimbayen. Imbadores.
1848. 1:17:39Inadores, can you say I don't know if if
1849. 1:17:41I'm even saying correctly invaders.
1850. 1:17:44Invaders. Invaders. They they are the
  1851. 1:17:46invaders. 100% they are the invaders.
1852. 1:17:50Right. No. And then do you think the the
1853. 1:17:53opposite that they are not? I think if
1854. 1:17:56in the history is a little bit
1855. 1:17:58complicated when you go back and you
1856. 1:18:00read about the fact that US made a
1857. 1:18:02promise when Putin went to Clinton is
1858. 1:18:05like hey I'd like to join NATO. would
1859. 1:18:07you guys want to entertain the idea and
1860. 1:18:08it's like yeah let me call you back
1861. 1:18:09calls him back 5 minutes not right now
1862. 1:18:12Putin wanted to join NATO why don't you
1863. 1:18:13want him to join NATO because if they
1864. 1:18:15don't join NATO you need war so he can
1865. 1:18:16make more money so you need a bad guy so
1866. 1:18:19you want to kind of isolate Putin to the
1867. 1:18:20side and you know do you really think
1868. 1:18:23that if Putin wants to join NATO he he
  1869. 1:18:26he couldn't do that
1870. 1:18:29yeah because they said so why he's not a
1871. 1:18:31part of NATO you think they would want
1872. 1:18:33him to join NATO course they they don't
  1873. 1:18:35they they don't want
1874. 1:18:37You think you think Putin you think they
1875. 1:18:39would want Putin to join NATO? If they
  1876. 1:18:41want Putin to join
1877. 1:18:44NATO, why not? You think NATO wants
1878. 1:18:48Putin to join NATO at this point? I wish
  1879. 1:18:52that No, I wish that no because I don't
  1880. 1:18:55I don't I don't want to
1881. 1:18:57have Listen, the the the history I have
1882. 1:19:01my family has with Russia. I'm like with
1883. 1:19:04with the people that runs runs that
  1884. 1:19:07country. It's like I don't give a damn
1885. 1:19:10about about them, you know? I'm all
1886. 1:19:14against Putin. Against Putin. Like I get
1887. 1:19:17that. No, listen. I lived in Iran. We
1888. 1:19:20had a war with Saddam Hussein, Iraq, and
1889. 1:19:23Jimmy Carter in the US. I understand
  1890. 1:19:26like I'm there is emotion here. I grew
1891. 1:19:29up with, you know, Christian family in a
1892. 1:19:32country where 99% were Muslims in Iran.
1893. 1:19:35I saw what they did to Christians. I
  1894. 1:19:37have memories of that. I didn't leave at
1895. 1:19:392 years old or four years old. I left at
1896. 1:19:41almost 11 years old. So those memories
  1897. 1:19:45stay. They're in the blood. They don't
1898. 1:19:47go away. I have mine as well on
  1899. 1:19:48experiences. But to
  1900. 1:19:50me, I think sometimes I sit there and I
1901. 1:19:53wonder that they need a bad guy for them
1902. 1:19:55to um think about it this
1903. 1:19:58way. What has been the biggest boxing
1904. 1:20:02fight of all time that made the most
  1905. 1:20:04money?
1906. 1:20:05Uh it was Floyd against Pacquiao. Yeah.
1907. 1:20:09What is the biggest Rob? Can you pull
1908. 1:20:11out what is the biggest
1909. 1:20:13boxing pay actual money pay of all time?
  1910. 1:20:18You know who I think it's Connor against
1911. 1:20:21what you want to tell me with I'm I'm
1912. 1:20:23going to tell you the point I'm making
1913. 1:20:24to you here that's number one okay so
1914. 1:20:26okay so number six is that go back up
1915. 1:20:28right six is de la Hoya against
1916. 1:20:31Mayweather good fight go to the next one
1917. 1:20:34okay Floyd Canelo go to the next one
1918. 1:20:38both of those he made fun of him because
1919. 1:20:39he would wear the Cinco de Mayo Conor
1920. 1:20:41McGregor who's that fight with is that
1921. 1:20:43with Mayweather yes okay what's the next
1922. 1:20:45one and then Pacquiao Okay, that's one
1923. 1:20:48of them. And then Mayweather again with
  1924. 1:20:51Pacquiao. What's the first one? I'm
  1925. 1:20:53actually curious now. What's the first
1926. 1:20:54one? Who's that with? Is that Connor?
1927. 1:20:56Mayweather McConnor. Okay. So, do you
  1928. 1:21:00remember
  1929. 1:21:02$275 million? A billion dollars in
1930. 1:21:05earnings, one fight. Yeah. $1 billion in
1931. 1:21:08earnings, one fight. Right. Okay. The
1932. 1:21:10reason why this did so well is because
1933. 1:21:14everybody was convinced they hated each
1934. 1:21:17other. They needed an enemy. Okay. Okay.
  1935. 1:21:20So, my opinion,
  1936. 1:21:24Ilia, there's a lot of money being made
  1937. 1:21:28when there's wars. Who makes money?
1938. 1:21:31Weapons. Things, you know, a lot of good
  1939. 1:21:34weapons being
  1940. 1:21:35sold. If there's no war, they don't make
1941. 1:21:38money. Like just like in UFC, if there's
  1942. 1:21:41not a like for example, what's going to
1943. 1:21:43get more eyeballs? You against Charles
1944. 1:21:45or you against Islam? Yeah, of course.
  1945. 1:21:48Why? Because it's more personal.
1946. 1:21:50Dagistan against Georgia against Are you
1947. 1:21:52kidding me? That could be like, but why?
  1948. 1:21:56Because it's emotion. It's here. So then
1949. 1:21:58people going to come and see more
1950. 1:21:59pay-per-view. Money is going to be made.
  1951. 1:22:01Of course, it's a great business model.
1952. 1:22:02I totally get it. End of the year, Jon
1953. 1:22:04Jones against Aspenol, right? Everybody
1954. 1:22:06wants to see that heavyweight fight to
1955. 1:22:07see if it's going to take place or not.
1956. 1:22:09John wants money for it because it's
1957. 1:22:11probably going to be his last fight. If
1958. 1:22:12that happens, that fight's going to be
  1959. 1:22:15insane, right? Okay.
1960. 1:22:18Okay. If all of a sudden Putin's in NATO
1961. 1:22:23and he is now there's peace in the world
1962. 1:22:26and no issues, how do you sell stuff?
1963. 1:22:30Who made money with Ukraine and Russia,
1964. 1:22:32the war? Who makes money when there's
1965. 1:22:34the stuff with Israel, Iran, Hamas? Who
1966. 1:22:37makes money when Iran and, you know,
1967. 1:22:40Iraq or Afghanistan? Who made money?
  1968. 1:22:42These guys that make weapons? It's a
1969. 1:22:44business model. So, I think a part of it
1970. 1:22:47is yes, Putin is a loyalist to him, KGB
  1971. 1:22:51background. I I know his background,
1972. 1:22:53what his loyalty is to, but I'm also not
1973. 1:22:56naive to believe that there's people in
1974. 1:22:58the back that go like this. Hey, Ilia,
1975. 1:23:01let me tell you what he said about you.
1976. 1:23:02Hey, let me say what he said about you.
1977. 1:23:04And they're poking you, right? To upset
1978. 1:23:06you. Why? Because it sells more. So they
1979. 1:23:10they can't have all these guys get along
  1980. 1:23:13because then those guys don't make
1981. 1:23:15money. And these are big contracts. Do
1982. 1:23:18you know who's the first company that
1983. 1:23:19came in on the contract with Ukraine
1984. 1:23:21after all the damages that happened in
  1985. 1:23:23Ukraine?
1986. 1:23:24Did you see a company came out and they
  1987. 1:23:26got a $400 billion contract to fix
1988. 1:23:28Ukraine? The the Rockefellers. No. No.
1989. 1:23:31Right here. So you hear the story about
1990. 1:23:34Black Rockck announces new investment
1991. 1:23:36initiative to rebuild Ukraine. Okay.
1992. 1:23:39Well, why rebuild it? Why rebuild it?
1993. 1:23:42So, but you need war to rebuild. Of
1994. 1:23:44course, you need damages to rebuild. So,
1995. 1:23:47I am just as careful with the money
1996. 1:23:49people that want to see war as I am with
1997. 1:23:52world leaders like Putin, Xi, all the
1998. 1:23:55other guys. Both of them you have to be
  1999. 1:23:56careful with.
2000. 1:23:58So, do do so you believe that they do it
2001. 1:24:01because of of the business? Of course.
  2002. 1:24:04Okay.
2003. 1:24:06Not not Putin. Putin is here. I think
2004. 1:24:10that it's it goes a little bit more far
2005. 1:24:13than only sell weapons for Putin. Yeah.
2006. 1:24:18For Putin and for the United States and
2007. 1:24:20for everyone that that has the the
2008. 1:24:22weapons to sell. Maybe let me explain it
2009. 1:24:24a different way to you. Khabib against
2010. 1:24:26Connor. Yeah. The fight. Who fought for
2011. 1:24:29money? Who fought for heart?
2012. 1:24:32For money. Connor for heart. Kabib.
2013. 1:24:35Okay. Okay. So Putin against the people
  2014. 1:24:38that sell weapons. Yeah. Who's fighting
  2015. 1:24:41for his country? Who's fighting for
  2016. 1:24:44money? Uh see that's the difference.
  2017. 1:24:48Yeah. But I I'm I'm not very agree with
  2018. 1:24:51that because I don't think that he is
2019. 1:24:53looking only for the for the weapons.
2020. 1:24:55You know what I what I mean? How how
2021. 1:24:57many uh people dies in the in the war?
  2022. 1:25:00Like I don't know two
2023. 1:25:02200,000. How much weapons they need? I
2024. 1:25:05don't know how much money is that in
2025. 1:25:07total. No, but how much money did they
2026. 1:25:09spend in the weapons in the in in the
  2027. 1:25:11war with with
  2028. 1:25:13Ukraine? A lot a lot of money. It's it's
2029. 1:25:16in the billions on top of billions. And
2030. 1:25:18I'm not talking about Russia or Ukraine.
2031. 1:25:20I'm talking about all the people that
2032. 1:25:23make those weapons, okay? The General
2033. 1:25:25Dynamics, the, you know, uh uh you can
2034. 1:25:28list the name of the companies that
2035. 1:25:30these guys that sell the weapons. That's
2036. 1:25:31a business model. Do you know who
2037. 1:25:33Eisenhower is? No. The president of US
  2038. 1:25:36Eisenhower?
2039. 1:25:37No. Okay. So when he was Show me the
2040. 1:25:39face maybe. He was a former general. Oh.
2041. 1:25:42Many years ago. This is before my time
2042. 1:25:43and your time. This is a long time ago.
2043. 1:25:46So this guy died in 1969. I was born in
2044. 1:25:4878. So this is before my time. When he
2045. 1:25:50was done, this guy was a Was he a
  2046. 1:25:53four-star general, Rob, or a fivestar
2047. 1:25:54general? Can you go a little bit lower?
  2048. 1:25:57Fivear. He was a fivestar general. I
2049. 1:25:59mean a five. You know what five star is
  2050. 1:26:00like? Yeah. I can imagine like we don't
  2051. 1:26:02have a lot of I don't know how type in
  2052. 1:26:04how many five-star generals America's
2053. 1:26:06had. How many five star How many five
2054. 1:26:10star generals has America had? I think
2055. 1:26:13it's a few. Okay, there you go. George
  2056. 1:26:16C. Marshall, Douglas MacArthur,
  2057. 1:26:18Eisenhower, Henry H. Arnold, and Omar
2058. 1:26:21Bradley. Five of them. Okay. Eisenhower
2059. 1:26:24is the only one from the five that
  2060. 1:26:26becomes a president. Okay. When he's
  2061. 1:26:29done being a president, he's given his
2062. 1:26:31last speech. He gives this famous speech
2063. 1:26:34that everybody always talks about and he
2064. 1:26:36says, "Be very," this is the speech
2065. 1:26:38right here. Oh, sure. Okay. I'm very
2066. 1:26:40curious about this one. Yeah. Can you
2067. 1:26:41play it, Rob? Now, this conjunction of
  2068. 1:26:44an immense military establishment and a
2069. 1:26:46large arms industry is new in the
  2070. 1:26:49American experience. Large arms
2071. 1:26:50industry. Can posit like arms? Like
  2072. 1:26:53they're selling weapons. It's a large
2073. 1:26:55weapons industry. Keep going. The total
  2074. 1:26:57influence economic, political, even
2075. 1:27:00spiritual. There you go. Is felt in
2076. 1:27:02every city, every state house, every
  2077. 1:27:04office of the federal
2078. 1:27:06government. We recognize the imperative
2079. 1:27:09need for this development. Yet, we must
2080. 1:27:11not fail to comprehend its grave
  2081. 1:27:14implications.
2082. 1:27:16Our toil, resources, and livelihood are
2083. 1:27:19all involved. So is the very structure
  2084. 1:27:22of our society.
2085. 1:27:24In the councils of government, we must
2086. 1:27:26car guard against the acquisition of
2087. 1:27:29unwarranted influence, whether sought or
2088. 1:27:31unsought. Go back by the the
2089. 1:27:33acquisition. So, this is very important.
2090. 1:27:36I want to explain this part to you.
2091. 1:27:37Ometo, can you come here and explain
2092. 1:27:39this? Unwarranted. Ombberto, can you
2093. 1:27:41come in here just to explain this part?
2094. 1:27:44I think he's going to come here if you
2095. 1:27:45can. Can you just translate this part if
2096. 1:27:47you could? If you want to give him the
2097. 1:27:48mic. So, when he's saying it, just
2098. 1:27:51translate the key word. So, the
  2099. 1:27:53acquisition of unwarranted influence,
2100. 1:28:02keep playing it. The acquisition of
2101. 1:28:04unwarranted influence, whether sought or
2102. 1:28:06unsought by the military industrial
2103. 1:28:09complex. Pause it right there.
  2104. 1:28:16Military-industrial complex.
2105. 1:28:19Meaning the the the there is these guys
  2106. 1:28:22that buy influence politically,
  2107. 1:28:25economically and spiritually.
  2108. 1:28:27Militaryindustrial complex by selling
2109. 1:28:30weapons. Mhm. So be very careful how
2110. 1:28:33much influence those guys have because
2111. 1:28:35those guys imagine on the back end they
2112. 1:28:37make tens of billions of dollars,
2113. 1:28:39hundreds of billions of dollars and they
2114. 1:28:41come and they buy politicians. Mhm.
  2115. 1:28:44Here's $50,000. Here's $100,000. here's
  2116. 1:28:47$300,000. Here's
2117. 1:28:48$200,000. Go make this law or go do this
2118. 1:28:53or go do that. The more wars, the more
2119. 1:28:56money they make. Okay? So, he's saying
  2120. 1:28:59when he's done being a president as a
2121. 1:29:01five-star general, be very careful with
  2122. 1:29:03these
2123. 1:29:04companies that are going to use their
  2124. 1:29:07money economically, politically, and
2125. 1:29:10spiritually to create and start war. All
2126. 1:29:13the narrative. Yeah. So we just to me I
2127. 1:29:16used to always like I used to think this
2128. 1:29:18way. You know how you grow up you think
2129. 1:29:19everything they taught you in school.
2130. 1:29:21Mhm. You know how you said like the
2131. 1:29:22earth is flat. What did you say? I don't
2132. 1:29:24care if the earth is flat or that but
  2133. 1:29:26there's certain things we're taught
  2134. 1:29:27right
  2135. 1:29:29and then later on you're like man I
  2136. 1:29:32don't know about that. I don't know
  2137. 1:29:33about this. I don't know about this. And
2138. 1:29:34then you know you create your own
  2139. 1:29:35opinions as you're going through it.
  2140. 1:29:38There's the core belief there's the
  2141. 1:29:39values. There's family. There's pride.
  2142. 1:29:41There's faith. There's God. There's all
  2143. 1:29:42of that stuff.
2144. 1:29:44But sometimes you got to
2145. 1:29:46be when people are wanting to poke the
  2146. 1:29:49bear, you
2147. 1:29:51know. Don't get me wrong. Did Putin take
2148. 1:29:54advantage of the fact that a weak leader
2149. 1:29:55was in America like Biden? Yeah, of
2150. 1:29:58course he took advantage of it. Would it
2151. 1:30:00have happened with Trump? By the way,
2152. 1:30:01what do you think about Trump? Have you
2153. 1:30:02met Trump yet? No. No. No. No. I I
  2154. 1:30:05actually
  2155. 1:30:06I I I like the hard personality that
2156. 1:30:10Yes. the strong personality that Trump
2157. 1:30:12represents, you know, he he's like, "We
2158. 1:30:16do it this way or we don't do it." And I
  2159. 1:30:18like that, you know.
  2160. 1:30:21I don't know. I don't know. He's He's
2161. 1:30:23playing his game. Me and you, we can
2162. 1:30:26think whatever we want to think. But at
  2163. 1:30:28the end of the day, I as I said, I vote
  2164. 1:30:31for peace and I I hope and I I think
2165. 1:30:34that Trump is seeking for for the peace
2166. 1:30:37for in the world. Even if it doesn't
2167. 1:30:39look like that at some point and someone
  2168. 1:30:42uh I don't know, you see a lot of crazy
2169. 1:30:45crazy things in the social media, I
  2170. 1:30:47really think that he's doing that
2171. 1:30:50and and he's looking like for the best
2172. 1:30:54interest for the for the United States
2173. 1:30:57and this is what he has to do. That's
2174. 1:30:58why the people chose him as a as a
2175. 1:31:01leader. So you like him? Of course I
2176. 1:31:03like him. You haven't met him yet? Not
2177. 1:31:05yet. You know, he probably really likes
2178. 1:31:07the way you fight. Yeah. You know, he's
2179. 1:31:10a big fan of the fight. He watches
  2180. 1:31:12everything. I know. I never saw him in
2181. 1:31:14in in in my fights because he goes
2182. 1:31:17sometimes like randomly. I go to this
2183. 1:31:19this event, this one. We never at the
2184. 1:31:22same time. At the same time. Are you
2185. 1:31:24going to this fight or are you going
2186. 1:31:25this? You're not going to be there?
2187. 1:31:27Okay. Well, if you're in that place,
2188. 1:31:29it's going to be crazy. Yeah. That's why
  2189. 1:31:31that's why you're not going. I'm not
  2190. 1:31:33going to watch
  2191. 1:31:36to to
  2192. 1:31:37like other sporty I don't
  2193. 1:31:40go. I enjoy my and that's it. Well,
2194. 1:31:44listen, you fight Islam, he's going to
  2195. 1:31:47be at that fight. I think so. I mean, I
2196. 1:31:49I listen, of course, if he's got
  2197. 1:31:51political different things that he's
2198. 1:31:52dealing with is he's got a big job. But
2199. 1:31:54I think if the two of you guys fight,
2200. 1:31:56he's going to tell China. He's going to
  2201. 1:31:58tell Russia. He's going to tell
  2202. 1:31:59everybody, "Hey guys, we're not fighting
2203. 1:32:00this weekend. No tariffs on anybody.
  2204. 1:32:03Everybody's good. We're going to get
  2205. 1:32:04along. I'm going to fight a couple. Let
2206. 1:32:06me I want to understand understand some
2207. 1:32:08kind of things like you Americans people
2208. 1:32:11that live that are living here like
2209. 1:32:13what's your perception perception about
2210. 1:32:15like what's happening in the in Ukraine
2211. 1:32:18what happened in in in in Georgia for I
2212. 1:32:20don't know if you know the story like
2213. 1:32:22what do you think about all that like I
2214. 1:32:24I want to know you your your thoughts
2215. 1:32:27specific to what specific to Georgia
2216. 1:32:30specific to specific to the world like
2217. 1:32:32what what's your prediction what do you
2218. 1:32:34think that it's going to happen in the
2219. 1:32:35next five five years like so do you know
2220. 1:32:37like America was divided in between
2221. 1:32:40Ukraine and you know Zalinsky or not
2222. 1:32:43Zalinski some some groups were they
2223. 1:32:46thought Zillinsky was the greatest hero
2224. 1:32:48in the world okay and they were fully
2225. 1:32:49supporting uh Zalinski and some people
2226. 1:32:53thought Zalinsky was bought and people
2227. 1:32:56were just giving money to him and you
  2228. 1:32:59know a continuous war not necessary
2229. 1:33:01every time coming and saying I need more
  2230. 1:33:03money I need more money Yeah, I need
2231. 1:33:05more money. And so American taxpayers
  2232. 1:33:07are sending money. We're like, wait a
2233. 1:33:08minute. We're sending all this money to
2234. 1:33:10Ukraine, war with Russia, but we have
2235. 1:33:12problems in America right now. Why are
  2236. 1:33:14we doing this? So there there's a big
2237. 1:33:18part of Americans where if support Can
2238. 1:33:20you type in Rob where the support was
  2239. 1:33:22for Do you think it's it's it's easy
2240. 1:33:25like like that like how you explaining
2241. 1:33:28Zalinski was coming knocking the door. I
2242. 1:33:31need money and they were giving the
  2243. 1:33:33money to him.
2244. 1:33:34And do you think do you really think
2245. 1:33:37that it happens like that and they they
2246. 1:33:39didn't had any interest behind behind
2247. 1:33:43that money behind that moment
  2248. 1:33:46accountability or interest whatever I
2249. 1:33:49don't know it's like do you really think
2250. 1:33:51that let's say Biden was giving the
  2251. 1:33:54money to to Zalinski like that I don't
2252. 1:33:57know take this take that well whatever
2253. 1:34:01Zalinski has Biden had interest with uh
2254. 1:34:05with Ukraine that he got in trouble with
2255. 1:34:08on a hot mic when he said certain things
2256. 1:34:11because they were going after his son.
2257. 1:34:12There was some issues that was going on
2258. 1:34:14at a time. So there are a lot of things
2259. 1:34:16that you see to to see that financially
2260. 1:34:20the president may have even benefited
2261. 1:34:21from it, may have benefited from it on
2262. 1:34:24that deal with Zalinski. And then people
2263. 1:34:26on the back end also probably benefited
2264. 1:34:28from a little bit of a war. it turns
  2265. 1:34:30into, you know, it's a $400 billion
  2266. 1:34:32contract to rebuild Ukraine. That's a
2267. 1:34:34lot of money, Ilia. It's a lot of money.
  2268. 1:34:36So, I I think I think this is what we
  2269. 1:34:40see, then I think this is what's going
2270. 1:34:42on. Yeah. You know, and we don't see
2271. 1:34:45this, right? But at the same time, um
2272. 1:34:48what we learned the last eight years
2273. 1:34:50with the news is you can't trust
2274. 1:34:52everything you see. You have to stay
2275. 1:34:55skeptical and you have to question a lot
  2276. 1:34:58of things. And I learned one thing a
2277. 1:35:00long time ago, and I I think this this
  2278. 1:35:02will make sense to
2279. 1:35:05you. What's most important to in your
2280. 1:35:08life? What's the top five most important
  2281. 1:35:11things in your life?
  2282. 1:35:14My family. Okay. um
  2283. 1:35:19let's say me myself
2284. 1:35:21uh my relationship with God my spiritual
  2285. 1:35:25work
2286. 1:35:29uh my job my work I don't know my
2287. 1:35:32occupation pride right of course okay
2288. 1:35:36and is your pride more Georgia or is it
2289. 1:35:39more Spain would you say you're more
  2290. 1:35:42Georgian it's difficult to choose
2291. 1:35:44between mom and dad you Yeah, I know.
2292. 1:35:46That's why I ask. Yeah. So, so both are
2293. 1:35:49important to you cuz you have both fans,
2294. 1:35:51right? They both love you. Okay.
2295. 1:35:54But something probably like when when
2296. 1:35:58you were a kid, how did you guys look at
2297. 1:36:00Russia in a good way? Like, no. Okay.
2298. 1:36:03All right. From what age? Probably very
2299. 1:36:06young age. Since I was burned. Who can
  2300. 1:36:08change your mind? Um, I think that it's
2301. 1:36:12it's a little bit difficult to to
2302. 1:36:14forgive something like that. A lot of my
  2303. 1:36:16family members were
2304. 1:36:18uh lost their lives in in that war. So,
2305. 1:36:22how you can forgive that? I agree. So,
  2306. 1:36:24here's what I learned a long time
2307. 1:36:26ago. You know how you said, "What's the
2308. 1:36:28point of earth is flat?" Yeah. There's
2309. 1:36:31no point of that argument. There's no
2310. 1:36:33point here. The reason for it is because
2311. 1:36:36it's personal. Do you know what I'm
2312. 1:36:38saying? you went through the pain. I
2313. 1:36:40don't know that. Just like when I lived
2314. 1:36:42in Iran, I went through the pain. And
2315. 1:36:46trying to explain it to somebody else,
2316. 1:36:47it's like, wait a minute. What do you
  2317. 1:36:49mean? You don't know what I went
2318. 1:36:50through. Just like what you went
  2319. 1:36:51through, right? So, you
2320. 1:36:55know, yeah, as a kid, my dad was my
2321. 1:36:58hero. My parents got a divorce. My
  2322. 1:36:59mother's family, they were communist. I
2323. 1:37:01hated it. It was always over money.
2324. 1:37:04Always arguing over money. Money caused
2325. 1:37:06my parents to get a divorce and
  2326. 1:37:08politics. I don't want to deal with
2327. 1:37:10politics and I'm going to make a lot of
2328. 1:37:11money. So my drive to make money was
2329. 1:37:14because we had nothing. Okay. Do you see
2330. 1:37:17what I'm saying? So now try to convince
2331. 1:37:20me that communism is good. You're never
2332. 1:37:22going to do it. Of course. Yeah. Me
2333. 1:37:26neither. I know. So, but but to me in a
2334. 1:37:29situation like this, when talking to
2335. 1:37:31somebody that experienced what happened
2336. 1:37:33in Georgia, that's why when Patty said
2337. 1:37:36what he said to you, it was personal. Of
2338. 1:37:38course, it was personal. Yeah. And
2339. 1:37:40that's similar to what happened with
2340. 1:37:41Connor and Kabib when they were fighting
2341. 1:37:44and some of the comments was made.
2342. 1:37:46Connor was probably trying to sell the
2343. 1:37:48event, but Kabib is not trying to sell
2344. 1:37:51the event. I know. I know what you mean.
2345. 1:37:54Yeah. So to me, I understand why this is
2346. 1:37:56a a important sensitive topic to you and
2347. 1:38:00to many people, not just to you, to a
2348. 1:38:02lot of different people in the world.
  2349. 1:38:04But I always watch the people
2350. 1:38:06that when my parents were together, I
2351. 1:38:10would watch an aunt. She would come to
2352. 1:38:12our house when my dad was at
  2353. 1:38:14work as a kid. I'll never forget this.
2354. 1:38:16She would sit there and just go for
  2355. 1:38:19three hours. I'm a six, seven year old
2356. 1:38:21kid. just three hours talking bad things
2357. 1:38:23about my dad. Did your husband buy you a
2358. 1:38:25necklace? You know, such and such bought
2359. 1:38:27such and such wife their necklace. Why
2360. 1:38:28doesn't he do that for you? Did he ever
2361. 1:38:30take you to dinner? You know, such and
2362. 1:38:32such. Did he take you to Italy? You
  2363. 1:38:33know, such and such. I don't think he
2364. 1:38:34takes care of you. Look how beautiful
2365. 1:38:36you are. He's lucky to have somebody
2366. 1:38:37like you. And I would watch this. And
2367. 1:38:40then my dad would come home after
  2368. 1:38:41working 12 hours, driving 2 hours to
2369. 1:38:43work at 8:30. And then my mom would go
2370. 1:38:46and scream at him. Boom. And you know
2371. 1:38:49who it was? It wasn't my mom. It was
2372. 1:38:51that lady. Yeah. Yeah. So to me, I'm
2373. 1:38:53very careful with people like that, of
2374. 1:38:55course. And it happens in wars and in
  2375. 1:38:57politics. So that's what I'm saying.
2376. 1:38:59When when they say, "Hey, why don't they
2377. 1:39:02let him join NATO?" And all this other
  2378. 1:39:03stuff. I don't know the people behind
2379. 1:39:06closed doors that are, "Hey, let me tell
2380. 1:39:08you. Hey, let me tell you. Hey, let me
2381. 1:39:10tell you." You know, that's the part
2382. 1:39:13that at this phase of my life, I'm very
2383. 1:39:17careful with. Of course, you can trust
2384. 1:39:20closely. Yeah. To anyone to
2385. 1:39:24anyone. Me personally, um at this point,
  2386. 1:39:27um I wouldn't be surprised with with
2387. 1:39:31anyone because sometimes you try to go
2388. 1:39:34to the top with with with the people
2389. 1:39:36that don't even want to see you at the
  2390. 1:39:38top.
2391. 1:39:40Yeah. There was a book called Laws of
2392. 1:39:42Human Nature, Robert Green. I think you
2393. 1:39:45would like this book. Which one? Uh,
2394. 1:39:48Laws of Human Nature by Robert Green.
2395. 1:39:50Can you go to images, Rob? Go to images.
2396. 1:39:53I read some some of his book. So, you
2397. 1:39:57probably read 48 Laws of Power. Yeah.
2398. 1:39:59Okay. So, if you read 40 Laws of Power,
2399. 1:40:02you will love this. You probably have it
  2400. 1:40:04translated Spanish, different languages.
  2401. 1:40:06Yeah, I have it. I have it in Spanish. I
2402. 1:40:08You're going to love this. Yeah. But I
2403. 1:40:10read the books also in English. I tried.
2404. 1:40:12I try to. Yeah. You'll love You love
  2405. 1:40:13this. Actually, I I I learned my English
2406. 1:40:15reading books. You did? Yeah. I was
2407. 1:40:18going like, you speak very good. What?
2408. 1:40:20You speak very good. I try to. I try to.
  2409. 1:40:24And I'm not living here. In reality, I
2410. 1:40:27don't have any contact with someone that
2411. 1:40:29that uh speaks in in English. My wife,
2412. 1:40:32she she does. She's from Miami. Yeah.
2413. 1:40:35And sometimes we try to speak in in
2414. 1:40:39English and we also try to watch some
  2415. 1:40:41movies but I don't go outside and talk
2416. 1:40:44to the people in in English and I try to
2417. 1:40:47I don't know read the books and if I
  2418. 1:40:49don't I I don't understand any word like
2419. 1:40:51I try to go word by word. Now I think
2420. 1:40:54you you'll love this because he says
2421. 1:40:56something in the book. He says, "If you
2422. 1:40:58really want to know if someone's your
2423. 1:41:00friend or not, test them by telling them
2424. 1:41:03some good news and some bad news." Okay?
2425. 1:41:06If you tell them bad news, if they get a
2426. 1:41:08little bit happy, be very careful with
2427. 1:41:10that person. You'll see it on their
2428. 1:41:12face. He explains it. And he says, "Give
2429. 1:41:14some of your friends a little bit of
2430. 1:41:15good news. If you see they get a little
2431. 1:41:17bit not happy, be careful with them
2432. 1:41:20because they, you know, you know, there
2433. 1:41:22are people that are very happy for you
2434. 1:41:23no matter what." Yeah. And if something
  2435. 1:41:25happens to you, they're like, "How can I
2436. 1:41:26help? What do you need from me?" Right.
2437. 1:41:27You see it immediately. Your family.
2438. 1:41:29Yeah. Your well your family. Sometimes
2439. 1:41:30your friends as well. Certain friends
2440. 1:41:31that are maybe very close. Not a lot of
2441. 1:41:33them, but you probably have one or two
2442. 1:41:34or three of them like that. He explains
2443. 1:41:36that in this book here
2444. 1:41:38on, you know, breaking that part down. I
  2445. 1:41:41will. I think I will read this book.
2446. 1:41:44Ilia, I can't wait to see the fight and
2447. 1:41:47I can't wait to be there when you guys
2448. 1:41:49fight and I can't wait to be there and
2449. 1:41:51the president to be there when you guys
  2450. 1:41:53have that fight. I can't wait for that.
2451. 1:41:54But hopefully we we have peace in the
2452. 1:41:56world. And hopefully we have peace in
2453. 1:41:58the world. And hopefully Oh yeah.
2454. 1:42:00Hopefully. Would you ever want to meet
2455. 1:42:02Putin? Would you ever want to meet
2456. 1:42:03Putin? No. No. Never. What if there's
  2457. 1:42:06peace?
2458. 1:42:08Would you ever want to fight in Russia?
2459. 1:42:09What if this fight is in Russia?
2460. 1:42:13I wouldn't fight in Russia. Really? So
2461. 1:42:16if Islam fights in Russia, you wouldn't
  2462. 1:42:17fight there? I wouldn't fight. Why is
2463. 1:42:19that? Because there's so much place in
  2464. 1:42:21the world that I could fight. Why I
2465. 1:42:23would fight in Russia? I would love to
2466. 1:42:26fight in than the United States, but not
  2467. 1:42:28in Russia. Not in
  2468. 1:42:30Russia. Actually, I I the only place I
2469. 1:42:35would fight is in the United States or
  2470. 1:42:38in Spain.
  2471. 1:42:39Got
2472. 1:42:41it. But would you ever fight in Russia?
2473. 1:42:44No. Never. Never. Have you ever gone to
2474. 1:42:46Russia? No. Would you want to visit
  2475. 1:42:48Russia?
2476. 1:42:49I don't want it, but if the destiny
2477. 1:42:51wants me to to go or I have to go for
2478. 1:42:54some reasons, I would go, but not
2479. 1:42:56fighting. Not not putting a show in
  2480. 1:42:58Russia and working there. I don't know.
  2481. 1:43:01I would. Yeah. You're so interesting,
  2482. 1:43:03bro. I would. You're so interesting.
2483. 1:43:06Seriously. So interesting the way you
2484. 1:43:08are. Yeah. Because I'm telling you, like
2485. 1:43:11uh uh we have guys here that uh they
2486. 1:43:14absolutely love you. Seriously, like
  2487. 1:43:16when we're doing like we're going
2488. 1:43:17through the podcast, you know, the
2489. 1:43:18prepping and talking about it who love
2490. 1:43:21you 100%. Like this is this is let me
  2491. 1:43:24tell you this guy's this is he's a
2492. 1:43:26trifecta. He's got the looks he can
2493. 1:43:27fight. He's got the confidence all this
2494. 1:43:29stuff, right? But just talking to you,
2495. 1:43:30you are so interesting. You're locked in
  2496. 1:43:34here. I don't know. Maybe sometimes it
2497. 1:43:37it happens to me also that I switch my
  2498. 1:43:40mentality. Sometimes I switch my
2499. 1:43:43thoughts. Maybe. But at this point right
2500. 1:43:46now, you're asking me, this is my
  2501. 1:43:47answer. I don't know. I I right now I
2502. 1:43:49wouldn't fight in in Russia. Okay. Maybe
  2503. 1:43:52tomorrow. Who knows what's going to
2504. 1:43:54happen tomorrow? If you fight in Russia,
2505. 1:43:55I'm going to text you. I'm going to say
2506. 1:43:56Ilia, why are you fighting in Russia?
2507. 1:43:57What's going to happen? Please. When is
  2508. 1:44:00your birthday? What month's your
  2509. 1:44:01birthday? January 21st. January 21st.
  2510. 1:44:04All right. January 21st. Well, brother,
  2511. 1:44:06um, it's been a pleasure having you on.
  2512. 1:44:08You're an interesting guy. I'm excited
2513. 1:44:10to see you go and get everything you
2514. 1:44:13want in life. You know, the the highest
2515. 1:44:15paid athlete, the biggest fights,
  2516. 1:44:18biggest live it there. I I don't like
  2517. 1:44:20that conversation, but I don't know
2518. 1:44:22where I said it and it became like viral
  2519. 1:44:26that I I said it in reality. You don't
  2520. 1:44:28really care about that. I don't care
2521. 1:44:30about that. You know what I mean? I said
2522. 1:44:31it. But God bless everyone. Peace for
  2523. 1:44:34everyone.
  2524. 1:44:37There's a place for everyone. So I wish
  2525. 1:44:40I agree. Yeah. Well, you're competitive.
2526. 1:44:42You're competitive, which is okay.
2527. 1:44:43Always. Always. I was born like that.
  2528. 1:44:46Thank you very much. It's been I really
2529. 1:44:48really enjoyed it, man. I do it. And I
2530. 1:44:51learned a lot of things, my man. Take
  2531. 1:44:53care, everybody. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
2532. 1:44:55Nowadays, more than ever, the brand you
2533. 1:44:57wear reflects and represent who you are.
2534. 1:44:59So for us, if you wear a future looks

  2537. 1:45:06optimistic. I'm excited about what's
  2538. 1:45:08going to be happening. But you're a
2539. 1:45:09freethinker. You question things. You
2540. 1:45:11like debate. And by the way, last year
2541. 1:45:14120,000 people got a piece of future
2542. 1:45:17looks bright gear with value tamement.
