4. 0:06betting gets a bad wrap all the way
5. 0:08around because people just think it's
6. 0:11straight up gambling and you're going to
7. 0:13end up losing money and you're going to
8. 0:15end up developing a bad habit and
9. 0:17everything like that people just think
10. 0:19that nonstop but I'm out here to change
11. 0:21the game to show you guys that you could
12. 0:23actually have some fun and you can
13. 0:25actually make some money while you are
14. 0:27doing it so we're going to jump into and
15. 0:29I'm going to show you you guys exactly
16. 0:31how you can turn sports betting into a
17. 0:35hobby that you actually make money doing
18. 0:38now let's start with the first thing
19. 0:39that is super important all right it's
20. 0:42going to be your mentality all right the
21. 0:46mental
22. 0:50game this is super important all right
23. 0:53the mental game is important because
24. 0:55does not matter if you have any bit of
25. 0:58any strategy or anything put together if
26. 1:01the mental game is not solid now let me
27. 1:03explain to you why the mental game is so
28. 1:05important and why so many people fail
29. 1:08when it comes to the mental state of a
30. 1:10sports better so first thing right off
31. 1:13the bat your mental state has to be top
32. 1:15tier you have to understand you're going
33. 1:16to lose in this game it's going to
34. 1:18happen all right so you have to accept
35. 1:20that you're going to lose you're not
36. 1:23going to win 100% of the time it's not
37. 1:25about losing though it's about the
38. 1:28probability of you being able to set
39. 1:31yourself up to win more than losing and
40. 1:35playing plays that are going to help you
41. 1:37win more than losing so your average
42. 1:40Sports better they go into any bet
43. 1:43thinking this that it's a 50/50
44. 1:47shot your average Sports better thinks
45. 1:49any bet is a 50/50 shot cuz they're like
46. 1:52oh well it's either going to happen or
47. 1:54it's not going to happen they don't
48. 1:55realize this one key factor that they
49. 1:58keep missing the probability of that
50. 2:01event actually occurring and trying to
51. 2:03find the actual probability behind that
52. 2:06because when your mental state is
53. 2:08thinking everything is 50/50 this is
54. 2:11what happens to your average Sports
55. 2:13better let's say for a a line is minus
56. 2:17200 okay and your average Sports better
57. 2:20is like I'm going to go put $100 on that
58. 2:22so what does that mean that means they
59. 2:24put down a 100 bucks they're going to
60. 2:26win
61. 2:2750 and they make
62. 2:30150 back okay your average Sports better
63. 2:34looks at this and they think well it's a
64. 2:3650/50 play cuz it's either going to
65. 2:38happen or it's not going to happen now
66. 2:41I'm going to go and wager $100 to only
67. 2:43win $50 that's not worth it why would I
68. 2:46do that it's not worth it to me I'd
69. 2:49rather go and place a bet
70. 2:52that's minus 110 and then what am I
71. 2:55doing I'm wagering $100 down to win uh
72. 2:59what is it it's like
73. 3:0090 Plus 90 something all right to almost
74. 3:03double their
75. 3:07money that's where they think like okay
76. 3:10this is worth it cuz it's 5050 right no
77. 3:12matter what it's either going to happen
78. 3:15or it's not this is where right here the
79. 3:18mental aspect of the game this is
80. 3:21where everybody screws up all right
81. 3:24everybody screws up because they don't
82. 3:27understand that when you looking at
83. 3:28certain plays
84. 3:30there is a better shot of this play
85. 3:33winning than this one you have a better
86. 3:37opportunity with some of these plays
87. 3:39rather than these right here they don't
88. 3:41get that instead they think everything
89. 3:43is a 50/50 shot and they should get back
90. 3:48at least if not the same or more than
91. 3:52what they put down as their original
92. 3:54unit size that is what is part of the
93. 3:57mental game that they don't understand
94. 3:59and they end up getting upset if they go
95. 4:03and put down 100 bucks and only win 50
96. 4:04bucks but don't realize that you still
97. 4:07won $50 rather than you played this and
98. 4:10guess what you ended up losing and you
99. 4:13gave $10000 back because you played a
100. 4:15play that actually had a higher
101. 4:18probability now let me do a bit of
102. 4:21a sketch I'll try to do a sketch for you
103. 4:24that way you can see what I'm talking
104. 4:25about here let's say for example so
105. 4:29somebody had 10 cups all right let's say
106. 4:32they had 10
107. 4:35cups eight of those
108. 4:38cups had a ball in
109. 4:40[Applause]
110. 4:43them so we got 10 cups there's eight of
111. 4:45them that have a ball in there I say to
112. 4:49you if you pick the cup that has a ball
113. 4:52in it and you put up a 100 bucks I'm
114. 4:55going to give you $50 back so your total
115. 4:57money would be 150 bucks what does that
116. 5:00mean that means you have an 80%
117. 5:04chance of
118. 5:06taking a
119. 5:09cup with a
120. 5:13ball and what am I doing I'm stacking
121. 5:16obviously the money in my favor because
122. 5:19I'm saying if you win I'm only giving
123. 5:20you half of your money back plus your
124. 5:22original stake but you're not going to
125. 5:23double your money but look you have an
126. 5:2680% chance of picking a cup that has
127. 5:30a ball in it that's the same thing when
128. 5:32it comes to sports betting and you find
129. 5:34the right probability so you have to
130. 5:36understand that mentally mentally you
131. 5:38have to get through that break through
132. 5:40that wall that if I find a play that has
133. 5:42a 70% 80%
134. 5:45probability then I'm going to win 80% of
135. 5:48the time 70% of the time the odds just
136. 5:51need to line up with that so if I tell
137. 5:54you this analogy right here this whole
138. 5:56analogy right here if I came up to you
139. 5:59on the Street and asked you do you want
140. 6:01to do that most people would no-brainer
141. 6:04would say yeah because what are the odds
142. 6:06you're going to pick the cup that
143. 6:07doesn't have nothing in it it's only 20%
144. 6:1020% of the time right these right here
145. 6:14are in sports betting every single day
146. 6:16and they go overlooked cuz people don't
147. 6:19understand the numbers and the
148. 6:21probability behind the certain plays
149. 6:23they don't get it they think that if you
150. 6:26had 10 cups only five had balls in them
151. 6:28but then you know you give a 100 you put
152. 6:31down 100 bucks and I only give you 50
153. 6:33bucks yeah that that's a ripoff well
154. 6:34that is a ripoff that is because it's a
155. 6:3650-50 chance but you're not getting
156. 6:38double your money if you win that's
157. 6:41where people think that that's what
158. 6:43sports betting is it's not sports
159. 6:46betting when you look deeper into the
160. 6:48stats deeper into the probabilities you
161. 6:50can find something just like this every
162. 6:54single day and that's what it takes it
163. 6:56takes scrapping the way that you were
164. 6:59taught or you see on TV or what is
165. 7:01exploited on TV cuz I'm going to tell
166. 7:03you right now sports betting is still
167. 7:05new it's still in the developmental
168. 7:07stage in America cuz it's not even legal
169. 7:10everywhere and the wrong information is
170. 7:12non-stop being pumped on everything
171. 7:14television commercials everything like
172. 7:16that okay even the shows on ESPN all
173. 7:19those guys what they care about is
174. 7:20finding plus money bets minus 110 bets
175. 7:23putting parlays together that's all they
176. 7:24care nobody speaks on this level they
177. 7:27know this is where they're vulnerable at
178. 7:29CU they're not stupid the sports books
179. 7:30aren't stupid they're analytical people
180. 7:32too they know where they're vulnerable
181. 7:34at they need to understand that you know
182. 7:37they still give you opportunity at this
183. 7:39so that's where you have to take
184. 7:40advantage of it okay they give you these
185. 7:42type of opportunities every single day
186. 7:44you just have to be able to find them
187. 7:47now if you are going to be stuck and
188. 7:49always think that you know everything's
189. 7:51a 50/50 shot it's either going to happen
190. 7:53or it's not you're never going to be a
191. 7:54winning Sports better you're not going
192. 7:56to win at sports betting if your
193. 7:57mentality thinks that everything is
194. 7:59either going to happen or it's not and
195. 8:01you don't find the probability within
196. 8:03that and the percentages in that if you
197. 8:05just think it's everything's a coin flip
198. 8:07you're going to lose all the time
199. 8:09because that's how you're going to bet
200. 8:10you're going to bet everything like it's
201. 8:11a coin flip and you're only going to bet
202. 8:13stuff that's you know -0 or plus 100
203. 8:18because that's where it's been baked in
204. 8:20your guys's mind that that's what value
205. 8:22means value does not mean just go find
206. 8:25coin flip bets and hopefully you win
207. 8:27them that's not what value is value is
208. 8:30finding the highest probability mixed in
209. 8:33with the odds and the correct odds to
210. 8:36give you an edge now let's go ahead and
211. 8:39get to number two here number two
212. 8:46finding the
213. 8:51edge what does that mean all right that
214. 8:54means we got to find the edge so once
215. 8:56you have the mentality and you break
216. 8:58that mental state of thinking
217. 9:00everything's either going to happen or
218. 9:01it's not and it's 50/50 and you
219. 9:03understand probability is really what
220. 9:05dictates if you're going to win or if
221. 9:07you're not if you find the right
222. 9:08probability stuff then you're going to
223. 9:10understand that you're going to win more
224. 9:12often and you're going to do some damage
225. 9:14to the sports books rather than them
226. 9:16just taking your paycheck every single
227. 9:17week or whatever money you have left
228. 9:19over now finding that edge means this
229. 9:22for example we're going to say- 200 all
230. 9:26right right off the bat you need to hit
231. 9:28this about 66% of the
232. 9:30time you got to hit that to be able to
233. 9:34just break even you got to win at this
234. 9:35rate atus 200 so what does this mean now
235. 9:39where are we going to find our edge here
236. 9:41finding the edge means like I said
237. 9:44correlating your probability with your
238. 9:46odds of a play let's say that there was
239. 9:49a play that is
240. 9:52-00 but you look at the probability you
241. 9:55figure out the probability of that play
242. 9:57that probability of that play ends up
243. 10:00being
244. 10:0471% now with these numbers if you guys
245. 10:06are struggling to figure out the
246. 10:08strategy on how to find the
247. 10:09probabilities make sure you guys click

256. 10:29upon years like it did for me you can
257. 10:31fast forward all that by just clicking
258. 10:33the link in the description so now if we
259. 10:35have a minus 200 play is that 71% we got
260. 10:38a minus 200 we need to hit at least 66%
261. 10:41of the time right well we found a play
262. 10:43that's- 200 has a 71% chance of hitting
263. 10:46what does that mean that means we have a
264. 10:50plus 5% Edge
265. 10:56there all right that's what you're
266. 10:58looking for
267. 10:59you're looking for an edge you want to
268. 11:02be able to find the plays that the odds
269. 11:05mean you got to hit 66% longterm or
270. 11:09whatnot but you are able to find one
271. 11:11that has a higher probability than what
272. 11:14the overall you need to hit to break
273. 11:16even that is where you find your Edge
274. 11:18where a lot of people make mistakes all
275. 11:21right A lot of people make mistakes is
276. 11:23this example all right they'll find that
277. 11:26minus 200 play like I said you need to
278. 11:29win
279. 11:2966% of the time just to break even they
280. 11:33find that but that play actually only
281. 11:35has 62% chance of winning what does that
282. 11:39mean now that
283. 11:42means what's the difference there Nega
284. 11:474% that's a -4%
285. 11:52edge that right there is not what you
286. 11:54want all right we don't want negative
287. 11:57plays you don't want to be on the ne
288. 11:59negative side you want to be on the
289. 12:01positive side you want
290. 12:03these all right not
291. 12:07that that is where the mistake a lot of
292. 12:10people make trying to figure out
293. 12:12probabilities trying to find their Edge
294. 12:14they find a Negative Edge and then they
295. 12:17play the Negative Edge so what does that
296. 12:18mean that means that over the long term
297. 12:21of playing this route you're going to
298. 12:24lose 4% you're just going to keep
299. 12:26stacking 4% and losing that over the
300. 12:28long term as in here when you find plays
301. 12:30that give you a plus Edge now you're
302. 12:33being able to find plays that are going
303. 12:36to slowly increase your bank rle little
304. 12:39by little over time because that is
305. 12:42where you can actually make some money
306. 12:45now you're not going to make a crazy
307. 12:47amount of money okay you're not you're
308. 12:49not going to make a crazy amount of
309. 12:51money but you will make enough money to
310. 12:54be able to call yourself a profitable
311. 12:56Sports better instead of somebody that
312. 12:58donates every single day okay every
313. 13:01single day non-stop I've seen it since
314. 13:02I've been in the industry people do
315. 13:04nothing but donate their money they have
316. 13:06no idea what I'm talking about here they
317. 13:08have no clue I see a regular person on
318. 13:10the street that wants to bet on a game I
319. 13:12ask them any of this stuff they look at
320. 13:14me like I'm crazy all right CU they have
321. 13:16no idea what any of this means they just
322. 13:18think again like I said before it's
323. 13:21either going to happen or it's not the
324. 13:2350/50 chance and most of the time that
325. 13:26is what they're betting they're betting
326. 13:28like that they're betting things
327. 13:29thinking it's a coin flip it's a 50-50
328. 13:31chance if I win I win if I don't I don't
329. 13:33it is what it is they don't find the
330. 13:35statistical Edge within the lines and
331. 13:38within the numbers all right so now once
332. 13:41you have figured out
333. 13:42again the mental
334. 13:48game once you got the mental game
335. 13:50figured out you're able to check that
336. 13:52off the list you're able to understand I
337. 13:55have to break myself of thinking
338. 13:57everything is a coin flip I have to find
339. 14:00things that are going to give me the
340. 14:01highest probability of winning like I
341. 14:04gave that example with the cups somebody
342. 14:06gives you 10 cups eight of them have a
343. 14:08ball in them they say here choose you
344. 14:11put up 100 bucks I'm going to give you
345. 14:1250 back plus your 100 bucks everybody's
346. 14:14taking that deal everybody okay if
347. 14:17you're not going to take that deal
348. 14:17you're pretty much stupid because it's
349. 14:20in your favor you have an edge there
350. 14:23okay so mental game is everything break
351. 14:26break that habit of thinking that it's
352. 14:2850/50 and it's either going to happen or
353. 14:31it's not you have to break that if you
354. 14:32don't break that you will not be
355. 14:35successful I promise you and then number
356. 14:37two is
357. 14:43finding the
358. 14:48edge got to find the edge all right if
359. 14:50you don't find your
360. 14:52Edge you will be lost make sure you're
361. 14:56finding plus Edge plays all right right
362. 14:59they give you
363. 15:01plus not
364. 15:04negative cuz there's a lot of these out
365. 15:06there Negative Edge
366. 15:09plays people don't realize them they put
367. 15:12a lot of those into their parlays they
368. 15:14don't realize that stuff you have to
369. 15:16understand that if you're putting
370. 15:18anything negative straight up or into
371. 15:21parlay your probability percentage goes
372. 15:24way down goes way down I see that all
373. 15:27the time parlay betters parlay betters
374. 15:30they will throw three Negative Edge
375. 15:32plays together to try to hit them and
376. 15:35their probability is actually like 30%
377. 15:38but their odds end up being like plus
378. 15:40100 so they smash it all together to try
379. 15:41to get an even money and guess what
380. 15:44their probability percentage is 30% for
381. 15:46a plus 100 that's a coin flip so that's
382. 15:48like an analogy 10 balls three of them
383. 15:52have a ball excuse me 10 cups three have
384. 15:56a ball in it and then guess what I'm
385. 15:57giving you 50/50 odds on that saying you
386. 15:59give me 100 I'll give you 100 back but
387. 16:01you only got three chances see that is
388. 16:04where you get ripped off that is where
389. 16:06the sports books take all your money
390. 16:08that is where you're donating constantly
391. 16:10day in and day out every single day of
392. 16:12the week so remember long as you have
393. 16:14the mental gain put together you find
394. 16:16your Edge and what I said the edge is
395. 16:19the probability correlating with the
396. 16:21odds as long as you figuring that out
397. 16:24because that is one of the most
398. 16:25important parts as well these are both
399. 16:27very important this is is how you beat
400. 16:29sports betting your mental game is on
401. 16:32point and you have your Edge that's on
402. 16:34point you put those two together guess
403. 16:37what you are going to stack your bank
404. 16:39roll you're not going to keep donating
405. 16:41just like everybody does everybody just
406. 16:43donates gives their money away just keep
407. 16:45giving your money away to draftking so
408. 16:47they could advertise more on the Super
409. 16:48Bowl more on the NBA Finals more on the
410. 16:51World Series cuz you see it nonstop
411. 16:53right let's try to take back what is
412. 16:55ours and I have figured out exactly how
413. 16:57you could do that so as long as long as
