- 0:00I get funded $150,000
- 0:02with a futures prop firm, thanks to two
- 0:04order flow patterns that I will explain
- 0:05you today. And I recorded the entire
- 0:07process from the development and
- 0:09validation of my edge hypothesis to
- 0:11every single trade that I took that
- 0:13allowed me to pass that prop firm
- 0:14challenge. You'll also see how even
- 0:16though I was profitable and almost close
- 0:18to passing the challenge, because of
- 0:19some stupid mistake, I had to remake the
- 0:21challenge all over again, not once, but
- 0:24twice. Hence, why I got tired of trying
- 0:26prop firm challenges and I am now
- 0:28trading all in my personal capital.
- 0:30Which also I'll show you the performance
- 0:31of the last month and what's my plan for
- 0:32the next year trading. Let's quickly go
- 0:34through the strategies that I have used.
- 0:36Number one, a stop run strategy. Number
- 0:38two, an iceberg strategy. And then an
- 0:41order flow divergence strategy. There
- 0:43were only a couple of trades where I
- 0:44used this one, to be honest, and this is
- 0:46more discretionary. But these two are
- 0:47very mechanical instead. The stop run
- 0:49strategy, I'm basically waiting to see
- 0:52with order flow if above some highs
- 0:53there's actually some stop orders. And
- 0:57with order flow, actually see if it's
- 0:59real. You've probably seen a lot of ICT
- 1:01or SMC trader trying to do the same
- 1:03thing. And what they will do is they
- 1:04will wait for the breakout, wait for a
- 1:06test on probably a fair value gap, and
- 1:08then trade this to the downside for the
- 1:10entirety of the session. But most of the
- 1:12times when that happens, it's during the
- 1:14New York session. And during these
- 1:16phases in the New York session, there's
- 1:18no stop run. There's actually
- 1:19absorptions, which are very different
- 1:21patterns that requires a very different
- 1:23trading style. The stop runs I've traded
- 1:25only happen in the ES in the London
- 1:28session. It's a low liquidity pattern
- 1:30that specifically happens during the
- 1:31London session when there's low
- 1:32liquidity. And the edge that I found is,
- 1:34let's say there's a high over here. We
- 1:36expect up above here to have buy stops.
- 1:39And when price is reaching that level,
- 1:41there's going to be, as always, sell
- 1:43limits above here. These are the pending
- 1:45orders that we can see in the order
- 1:46book. And below here we have buy limits,
- 1:49right? This is how order flow works.
- 1:50You've probably seen some of my videos
- 1:52about this. And when a stop run happens,
- 1:53you see all of these market orders start
- 1:56entering the market. And they are
- 1:57matched with these sellers and they
- 2:00disappear. They're matched with these
- 2:01sellers and they disappear. They match
- 2:03with these sellers and they disappear
- 2:05and so on and so forth. And they
- 2:06basically clear the book. That's why we
- 2:08call this also, this pattern in order
- 2:11flow, we call it book sweeping. And when
- 2:12that happens, your classic green candle
- 2:15forms. Now, the current price is here.
- 2:17And of course, you would still have more
- 2:18sell limits above here, all the market
- 2:20makers at the next levels of price.
- 2:22These buy limits will still be here. And
- 2:24for a very small time frame, there's a
- 2:26gap in the book all over here. There's
- 2:29no liquidity. There should be these
- 2:30guys' buy limit. It but it can take some
- 2:33time before the book gets filled again
- 2:36with buy orders. So, the path of least
- 2:38resistance is this one. So, it's a very
- 2:40short-term trade. I'm not trying to look
- 2:41for a session reversal. I'm just taking
- 2:44advantage of an order flow, very
- 2:45short-term order flow HFT level pattern.
- 2:49So, when I see that this is a confirmed
- 2:50stop run, I've developed an indicator
- 2:52that basically tells that to me based on
- 2:54order flow data, and I simply sell here.
- 2:57I don't wait for a breakout and a test
- 2:58and go down for the whole session.
- 3:00That's not the point of the stop run.
- 3:01So, that's the first setup. The second
- 3:03setup is an iceberg strategy that I've
- 3:04explained in this video. And basically,
- 3:06what I want to see here in the iceberg
- 3:08strategy is price trying to kind of push
- 3:11on a certain level, on a very specific
- 3:14price tick. And I want to see from order
- 3:16flow on this area buyers getting
- 3:18absorbed on a single tick. That means
- 3:21that in the book, there is someone who
- 3:23is constantly reloading and reloading
- 3:25and reloading contracts. So, if I see
- 3:27them from order flow, I'm going to sell
- 3:29to earn a couple ticks, front run this
- 3:31huge trader, maybe a couple times every
- 3:33time it bounces. And at some point, I
- 3:35expect a stop loss because what normally
- 3:37happens after iceberg orders is this
- 3:39phase called momentum ignition. And so,
- 3:41I basically sell one tick under the
- 3:43iceberg and cover myself with a stop
- 3:45loss one tick above. And that's it, very
- 3:47simple strategy. So, with this one, I've
- 3:49observed it so many times that I did not
- 3:51need a thorough backtest, also because
- 3:53they're pretty rare, as I also trade
- 3:56these during the London session in the
- 3:58ES. Because, for example, a good iceberg
- 4:00could have, I don't know, two to 3,000
- 4:02contracts on a single tick, and that is
- 4:05an anomaly in the London session. Your
- 4:07average 1-minute candle in the ES during
- 4:09the London session may have 200, 300
- 4:11contracts per minute. When you have on a
- 4:13single level a lot of contracts, that's
- 4:16an anomaly in the London session. But in
- 4:17the New York session, icebergs like
- 4:19these are completely ran through like
- 4:22like a hot blade through butter. 3,000
- 4:24contracts are nothing in a 1-minute
- 4:26candle during the cash session in the
- 4:28ES. But before I show you all all of the
- 4:30data analysis that I have done in my
- 4:32backtest and what ultimately was the
- 4:34final strategy after all the fitting and
- 4:36optimization, let me walk you through an
- 4:38example. So, this is an example of a
- 4:39stop run. We've probably went below some
- 4:41lows over here, and there was this huge
- 4:44and very fast order flow spike. I got my
- 4:47indicator here that also tells me how
- 4:48many contracts I should trade. And right
- 4:50below here in this area, you can see
- 4:51some stats, some data, some value for
- 4:54the order flow of each candle. On the
- 4:55first layer, you have the total volume,
- 4:57and then you have some delta values. And
- 4:58what I want to see is exactly this. A
- 5:00huge spike in volume, very high volume
- 5:02compared to the previous one. So, I want
- 5:04to see an increase in volume, a really
- 5:06high delta. Likely, this number should
- 5:08be at least 1/3 of this one. So, I want
- 5:11to have at least 1/3 clear aggression.
- 5:13And then I simply buy when this candle
- 5:15closes. My stop loss is slightly below
- 5:17here, and my target is the beginning of
- 5:19the stop run. So, I would buy here, take
- 5:21this retracement, super easy, super
- 5:22mechanical. This is another example of a
- 5:25bullish stop run. I get my indicator
- 5:27here that tells me we have an increase
- 5:28in volume, we have an increase in delta.
- 5:30I sell on the top, stop loss slightly
- 5:32above, and then ultimately price
- 5:34reabsorbs the path of least resistance.
- 5:36This is an example of the iceberg
- 5:37instead. Where you can see here there's
- 5:39a lot of volume absorbed on the top of
- 5:42the candle. So, what I would do as soon
- 5:43as I have this indication, which is,
- 5:45again, a proprietary indicator we've
- 5:46developed for deep charts, which
- 5:48basically analyzes volume clusters,
- 5:50which by the way, we're releasing very
- 5:51soon. I guess I'm not sure when this is
- 5:53going to be published. But if you want
- 5:54to join, we're almost there. Click the
- 5:55link in the description to save your
- 5:56spot for the launch. You get a free
- 5:58order flow master class and some other
- 6:00super cool free stuff. So, what I would
- 6:01do here is I would sell right here, earn
- 6:04a couple ticks. Then as soon as price
- 6:06gets back here, sell again. I would
- 6:07probably get stopped out here, maybe
- 6:09with a little bit of slippage as well.
- 6:10So, you have to kind of be careful with
- 6:11these setups for the risk. Also here, we
- 6:13had a clear example of 75 absorbed here,
- 6:15165 huge imbalance, point of control
- 6:18right on top. Sell over here, take a
- 6:20couple ticks. Then we test it again,
- 6:21take a couple ticks again, and then we
- 6:23completely ran it through. So, my goal
- 6:24here is to take one, two, maybe three
- 6:27trades, and then get the [ __ ] out. So,
- 6:28for the stop run version of the
- 6:30strategy, this was a journal that I
- 6:32filled out, partly by myself, partly
- 6:34with some friends that helped me out
- 6:35with this, where I simply gathered data.
- 6:37I gathered a huge amount of data, around
- 6:39349 trades as a sample. We did this
- 6:43manually. That's crazy. I specifically
- 6:45wanted to see how was the increase in
- 6:47the volume activity, how big was the
- 6:48candle, how was the delta, if it went to
- 6:50TP, what was the maximum adverse
- 6:52excursion. And I tried with three
- 6:54different types of take profits. So, I
- 6:56went through all of the data for, let's
- 6:57say, a full year, I think, or so. And
- 6:59then I started analyzing this data. And
- 7:01I found out, for example, that it was
- 7:02better to choose stop runs that had at
- 7:04least a certain amount of volume, so
- 7:06that had a clear spike in volume. It has
- 7:09to be an anomaly that I can capitalize
- 7:10on. So, I started putting a filter of
- 7:12all of the stop runs above 1,300
- 7:14contracts. Before I had a 48% {slash}
- 7:1753% win rate, depending on the target.
- 7:20Now, I started having a 53% win rate to
- 7:2355% win rate. So, the results started
- 7:25improving. And then I also saw that the
- 7:28closest I got to the New York session,
- 7:30the less they started working. So, I
- 7:32also I I tried to just put a filter on,
- 7:34maybe let's take them before 7:00 a.m.
- 7:37New York time. And also here, I found a
- 7:39clear improvement in the statistics. So,
- 7:41I joined these two filters. So, then I
- 7:44was looking at short stop runs as well.
- 7:46I did the exact same thing, the exact
- 7:48same filters. At the stop runs that
- 7:49specifically swept some very important
- 7:52highs or lows. And the results of these
- 7:54were absolutely phenomenal, 80% win
- 7:55rate. So, from this fitting phase, I had
- 7:58the final optimized version of the
- 7:59strategy that led me to this profit and
- 8:01loss, a win rate of 66%, which is
- 8:03decent. And I got all the data I needed
- 8:06to then start forward testing this
- 8:07strategy with a prop firm account. And
- 8:09with a prop firm account, you have to be
- 8:10really low on risk. So, I decided to
- 8:14only risk on average 0.20%
- 8:17of the account. Super conservative risk.
- 8:19I did not approach this as a I have to
- 8:22make money. I have to pass the prop
- 8:23firm. I only approach this as I want to
- 8:26see if this strategy is working in the
- 8:27real markets. Cuz after all of this
- 8:29backtesting, that is normally what you
- 8:31do. You do an in-sample test, you do
- 8:33data analysis, you fit it, you optimize
- 8:35it, and then you put it in the real
- 8:36market to see if the edge is still
- 8:37present and for how long. This was the
- 8:39first trade. It signaled me as a stop
- 8:41run, but it went to stop loss. And then
- 8:43another stop run was formed, and I
- 8:44traded that one as well. And there was
- 8:46also some clear absorption over here.
- 8:48So, it was kind of an overlap between
- 8:50the two trades. And also here, after
- 8:53being stopped out, I sold exactly the
- 8:55top of the candle, and then I took most
- 8:57of the profit out here, and I tried to
- 9:00let the position run a little bit more
- 9:02and targeting the VWAP. And slowly but
- 9:04surely, I think I'm not sure we got to
- 9:06that point, but as you can see here,
- 9:07yeah, we went up and took that high. So,
- 9:11we took out an important high that we
- 9:13did not took out in the first stop run.
- 9:14So, my mistake was I kind of opened it
- 9:17too early. I should have waited for the
- 9:18stop run that actually swept the high.
- 9:20And I got stopped out at break even. I
- 9:22managed to make a little profit to pay
- 9:24for my stop loss, but I I think I ended
- 9:26that day at a loss of $265, as you can
- 9:30see, the broker is OneUp, which is the
- 9:32prop firm I was using at that time. Then
- 9:33this was a iceberg setup that happened
- 9:36right after this stop run, actually. I
- 9:38can see it now. So, we got the stop run
- 9:40happening. I took a profit from that. An
- 9:41iceberg started forming here, 283
- 9:44contracts, 75 contracts. So, I sold 15
- 9:46contracts, stop right above.
- 9:49Uh first target here, and then I tried
- 9:51to place another target slightly below.
- 9:52Let's see what happened.
- 9:55Yep, the first setup went to target. So,
- 9:57now we are officially in profit on the
- 10:00same account.
- 10:02And yes, we did indeed go to profit and
- 10:05close that day with a $500. And now we
- 10:08are here with another trade that was
- 10:11about to happen, which was this stop
- 10:13run. This was also a mistake because
- 10:15normally I don't trade beginning of
- 10:18impulses. I only trade an exhaustion
- 10:21phase. So, this was also a mistake that
- 10:22I shouldn't have uh traded. It was not
- 10:25following the strategy and it actually
- 10:27went to stop loss. Do you see like it
- 10:30should have been a stop run that I've
- 10:31opened maybe here. I did not have a stop
- 10:33run on top because stop run is supposed
- 10:36to be an exhaustion move, but I opened
- 10:37simply an increasing volume due to a
- 10:39directional breakout. So, that was
- 10:41clearly a mistake and I paid for that
- 10:43mistake a beautiful $800. So, not a good
- 10:47start. This was a stop run. It was
- 10:49signaled that as a stop run at least and
- 10:52I got almost stopped out. There was
- 10:54another small stop run right below here.
- 10:57Get almost stopped out twice and
- 10:59eventually I got to profit with $700 in
- 11:02the bank. And actually at that point in
- 11:04time, that stop run was the end of an
- 11:07impulse that then generated a huge move
- 11:11down. So, this was the stop run we took
- 11:13and after that it would just simply
- 11:14melted down for the whole day. So, if I
- 11:16even just left one contract open, it
- 11:18would have been awesome, but this thing
- 11:19does not happen that often, I would say.
- 11:21But yes, we closed that day at $700 in
- 11:25profit. This is an iceberg setup that I
- 11:28took the same day. I qualified it both
- 11:30with a heat map and with the footprint
- 11:32chart. I've seen this and it's likely
- 11:34this is likely a mistake because it
- 11:35looks like this is New York session and
- 11:38this is not a trade I supposed to be
- 11:40taking during the New York session. And
- 11:41then I think I got stopped out
- 11:43massively. Yep, there you go. Got
- 11:45stopped out and basically cleared the
- 11:47profit for that day
- 11:49due to a rookie mistake. Then this one
- 11:52happened. Traded from the top to the
- 11:54close of the candle, 10 contracts and
- 11:56that day we profited around $825.
- 12:00On that same day we've opened another
- 12:02trade during the New York session. This
- 12:03is the order flow divergence where I
- 12:05basically waited for an absorption phase
- 12:07at the bottoms where you can see a lot
- 12:09of volume being traded at the bottoms of
- 12:10the candle and then a phase of
- 12:12initiative and that's where I open my
- 12:14trade and probably got stopped out, I
- 12:16think.
- 12:17Yep, I got stopped out, but this was a
- 12:19clear liquidation point. So, I think I
- 12:21decided to re-enter the trade because I
- 12:23officially got the divergence I was
- 12:25talking about. So, this is a CVD
- 12:26divergence where I can see that on this
- 12:29leg of price there was not enough
- 12:31participation, not enough delta compared
- 12:33to this one over here. So, this
- 12:35divergence made me pull the trigger on
- 12:37another absorption that happened below
- 12:38here. Sort of a failed auction. Normally
- 12:40here I wait for a clear initiative, so a
- 12:43candle with a high delta and there you
- 12:45have it. We had the candle with a high
- 12:46delta, 7,000 contracts and there we go.
- 12:49We have more initiative. We're also on
- 12:50the second standard deviation of the
- 12:52VWAP, which is normally where a lot of
- 12:54institutional trading goes on. Then I
- 12:56trail my stop loss and eventually gets
- 12:59taken. And at this point I think market
- 13:00started reversing very aggressively, so
- 13:03I decided to close the trade. There you
- 13:04go, $975
- 13:07for the day. Moving on to the next
- 13:08session, we had I think another stop
- 13:10run. So, I sold here. Besides from
- 13:12losing in commission, we're losing $500
- 13:14more or less and we get stopped out and
- 13:16then we get another stop run that I
- 13:17probably executed on. Eventually got to
- 13:19target, so we kind of mitigated some of
- 13:22the loss that we took before and then I
- 13:24let it run a little bit and eventually
- 13:27got I think my break even got Yeah,
- 13:29break even got taken, minus $274
- 13:32for that morning. Now, we have another
- 13:34trade taken with the divergence idea
- 13:37where I think the divergence happened
- 13:38here between these two highs and as soon
- 13:41as I saw a very intense aggressive
- 13:43candles on a standard deviation, I
- 13:45decided to execute on this trade. So,
- 13:47this was a New York session trade. I
- 13:49think it almost got to break even. It
- 13:52came back, it retraced and I closed the
- 13:54trade at break even. Moving on to the
- 13:56next trade, we had a stop run here, $95
- 13:58in commission every single time for one
- 14:00up. Thank you very much. This is a
- 14:02qualified stop run. We sold around here.
- 14:04We're waiting for price to reach our
- 14:05target and I think slightly before
- 14:09slightly after it almost touches our
- 14:11stop loss, it eventually runs around
- 14:14there a little bit and then it goes to
- 14:16profit. Yep, and we took profit right
- 14:18there but not with all the contracts. I
- 14:20think we've left one contract open to
- 14:22see if we could reach the VWAP this time
- 14:23and then eventually moved our stop to
- 14:25break even and we closed that day at
- 14:27$600 of profit. But same concept, stop
- 14:30run, shorting, taking most of the profit
- 14:32out and maybe leaving some for the VWAP
- 14:35if you're feeling generous. This is I
- 14:37think a trade taken on the same day.
- 14:39We're waiting for the New York session
- 14:41open. This was an opening session setup,
- 14:42of course. Looking for a divergence. We
- 14:45can see price pushing up but delta going
- 14:46down, so all of these sellers are being
- 14:49absorbed and so we just wait for this
- 14:52confirmation candle. We want both
- 14:54an absorption at the top of this candle
- 14:56and an initiative and we eventually got
- 14:58stopped out in this position. Then we've
- 15:00opened another trade. This was Oh, this
- 15:02was a very bad mistake. Do you see what
- 15:03I'm doing here? I basically bought a
- 15:06stop run that I should have sold. That
- 15:07is absolutely embarrassing. It was a
- 15:09perfectly good stop run. I executed
- 15:12perfectly, but I I literally clicked buy
- 15:15instead of sell. That is embarrassing.
- 15:17But hey, these things happen.
- 15:21Oh god. And then we reached take profit,
- 15:23which is our stop loss and I was so
- 15:24happy. Yes. And then I I
- 15:26Then actually I lost money. But this was
- 15:28a perfect perfectly good setup. So, do
- 15:30you see even though there were some
- 15:32mistakes, I managed to be profitable
- 15:33anyways. Like it was a stress test. We
- 15:36got a stop run setup right below some
- 15:38lows. We had so many stop runs for that
- 15:40day. We had one stop run that went to
- 15:41target, one other stop run that went to
- 15:43target that I probably did not trade
- 15:44because I was not in front of the
- 15:45charts. And then we had this other stop
- 15:47run
- 15:49that eventually went to profit. As you
- 15:52can see, it's a very stupidly boring
- 15:54strategy. This was another I think this
- 15:57was probably the same setup
- 16:00where I've retried the same stop run
- 16:03after I've seen some signs of strength
- 16:06from buyers and I probably was a little
- 16:08more generous with the take profit as
- 16:10well because we went through a very
- 16:12important low. So, I decided to retry
- 16:14and open it anyways and I think on this
- 16:16one we got rewarded properly.
- 16:20I moved my stop loss to break even as I
- 16:22often do, as you can see and we got I
- 16:25think to take profit and slowly but
- 16:28surely after losing $1,000, we may
- 16:30managed to make 1,400 back with a net
- 16:33profit of $450 for that day on this one
- 16:36up challenge. Here we have another stop
- 16:38run, very beautiful stop run. Look at
- 16:39this, very big increase in volume, very
- 16:41high delta, a lot of imbalances. We open
- 16:44this trade. I think this one went to
- 16:46profit. Yeah, very beautiful. I even
- 16:48screenshotted it for how beautiful it
- 16:49is. And this was the current state of
- 16:51things in the account. I was not so much
- 16:56in profit. I was like a thousand I was
- 16:57like nearly $2,000 in profit. It still
- 16:59didn't update from the last trade. I was
- 17:02around 18% of the profit target after 11
- 17:05trading days. Kind of slow, not really
- 17:07an amazing performance, but still
- 17:09profitable and achieved the consistency
- 17:11level that was required. Here we have
- 17:13another stop run. Same concept. Look at
- 17:16this one. This one is a very big
- 17:18increase in volume from 300 300 169
- 17:211,200.
- 17:23A lot of delta. We're We're currently
- 17:25short 11 contracts. See how this stop
- 17:27run went. But this one yeah, this one
- 17:29had a some really nice highs that were
- 17:31swept. So, we were opening this pretty
- 17:34confidently, I would say. We have some
- 17:36selling pressure, but then Oh, did we
- 17:39get stopped out here? And we got stopped
- 17:40out on this one. Huh, weird. It looked
- 17:42really clean and nice. We almost got
- 17:45filled here, by the way. We literally
- 17:47almost got filled. Look at this. The
- 17:48harsh reality of real trading. Here we
- 17:50opened another stop run. We already took
- 17:52the first take profit, as I can see. We
- 17:54have a $1,000
- 17:56uh worth of take profit, but the setup
- 17:57is exactly the same. We wait for the
- 17:59candle to close, short take profit over
- 18:01here. This is even a more beautiful stop
- 18:03run. The The higher the volume,
- 18:05technically the better.
- 18:22There you go. We opened the trade here.
- 18:24We closed it right there and that was a
- 18:26very clean stop run setup. Also here you
- 18:29can see a lot of big spiking volume,
- 18:31beautiful setup. By the way, I posted
- 18:33all of this trades on my Instagram as
- 18:35well. Here we have another trading setup
- 18:37I took on that day. We are in the New
- 18:39York session. We I think tried to trade
- 18:42a divergence here again, but we just
- 18:44took the trade on the test over here.
- 18:46Let's see how this went. This is more of
- 18:48an intraday type of setup.
- 18:51Sellers started getting aggressive. I
- 18:52trailed my stop slightly above. This was
- 18:55my last liquidation level. This is an
- 18:57imbalance cluster. I said if this is
- 18:59going to be broken, I'd like to get out
- 19:01of this trade and I think that
- 19:02ultimately happened. So, I decided to
- 19:04quit the trade and close with a partial
- 19:07take profit at $1,157
- 19:11for that day. So, this is a quick recap
- 19:13of the situation of this account. Not
- 19:15greatly profitable, I would say, but
- 19:17positive. We had $2,000
- 19:20worth of profit. It's probably a 1.2
- 19:23profit factor with a 52% win rate and a
- 19:25slightly positive average risk to
- 19:27reward. This is the equity line of this
- 19:30first phase and unfortunately, this is
- 19:32when as you can see here, I have opened
- 19:34a trade and I happened to keep this
- 19:36trade open after market close because it
- 19:39was a bank holiday or some [ __ ] and this
- 19:41is one of the no-no rules from one up.
- 19:43So, even though I managed to have a peak
- 19:44profit of around $3,000, I was in a
- 19:47profit of $900 for some reason, probably
- 19:48because I paid a lot of commissions. So,
- 19:50not a great profit, but still
- 19:52profitable. So as you can see here, I
- 19:53started texting the customer support and
- 19:56as the order was not triggered at all
- 19:59because the markets were closed, I was
- 20:01starting to lose money that I was not
- 20:02supposed to lose. So I I I immediately
- 20:04texted them and my rhythmic trader Pro
- 20:07login was not working for some reason.
- 20:09Eventually they said that I am no longer
- 20:12eligible for funding since I have traded
- 20:14past 3:15 p.m. Which sucks. So I had to
- 20:17restart all over again. And so we
- 20:19started again with a brand new account
- 20:21from One Up. This is still the
- 20:23divergence setup that I was trading and
- 20:25I've opened uh 10 contracts on this one.
- 20:28This is still this again was a a
- 20:30volumetric zone with a volume profile.
- 20:32We were in the standard deviation of the
- 20:33VWAP. There was a clear divergence in
- 20:36the CVD and a great deal of aggression
- 20:39in these candle that led me to open the
- 20:41trade. As always, I kind of trailed my
- 20:43stop loss a little bit trying to see if
- 20:45that imbalance would have hold and it
- 20:46holded perfectly. Then I started seeing
- 20:49some absorption here. As you can see
- 20:51here, there's this little iceberg over
- 20:53here, but it was completely ran through.
- 20:55Then I basically strangled price with my
- 20:57stop loss and there you go. The trailing
- 20:59stop loss was filled minus 10 contracts
- 21:03with a profit for the day of almost
- 21:04$6,000. This was an iceberg order. There
- 21:07was a very clear iceberg here. It was on
- 21:09the same day I took that trade, I think.
- 21:11Look at this one. 1,800 contracts.
- 21:14Beautiful iceberg. I've already taken
- 21:16some profits out here and eventually
- 21:18also this one, this last three
- 21:20contracts. Let's see if they got filled.
- 21:21Yeah, they got filled. So I increased
- 21:24that profit for that day, $6,400
- 21:27worth of profit. Here there was a stop
- 21:30run that eventually went to stop losses.
- 21:32As you can see, I bought here and got
- 21:34stopped out here. But since we then went
- 21:38below some lows, I decided to recover
- 21:40that stop run as soon as I saw some
- 21:42aggressive buying starting to come in.
- 21:44And so I I tried to as quickly as I
- 21:47could put my stop loss in a safer zone.
- 21:50As you can see, the stop losses here are
- 21:51more heavy because again we're in a
- 21:53$250,000 account. So the size has
- 21:56basically doubled. More buyers coming
- 21:57in. Buyers finally pushing up. Putting
- 21:59the stop loss to break even and boom.
- 22:01$1,722
- 22:03in profit. So also the second phase of
- 22:05the challenge started really great and
- 22:07that was the same and this was a quick
- 22:09update on the stats for that day. Much
- 22:12better, of course. Uh still didn't take
- 22:14a lot of stop losses. This was much
- 22:16better on a profit factor standpoint.
- 22:18This was the equity curve at of the
- 22:20first few trades of the second phase of
- 22:22the challenge and I was already 40% of
- 22:24the profit target on this $250,000
- 22:28account that I update the page as well.
- 22:29Was very very positive around this one.
- 22:32The consistency were was not there yet
- 22:33because I just started trading. This was
- 22:35the current equity line at that point in
- 22:37time. These was all the profit
- 22:39distribution. And we start again with
- 22:41another stop run. We've already opened a
- 22:43trade during this day that probably went
- 22:45to profit. I see an ice likely an
- 22:47iceberg that we traded here. We're
- 22:48already in profit of $400 plus we had a
- 22:51stop run. So we sold on this stop run
- 22:53and eventually I think it went to
- 22:55target. Yes, it went to target. We
- 22:56closed this morning alone $1,350
- 22:59in profit. And this was another iceberg
- 23:02order. This is a very beautiful one.
- 23:04Look at this. With all the indication
- 23:06here, amazing iceberg. Went one, went
- 23:08twice, went three times, four times.
- 23:10Took out seven contracts here. We're
- 23:12letting now four more contracts run. So
- 23:14$400 running of profit for these four
- 23:18contracts that I decided
- 23:20to let run almost until the VWAP. And in
- 23:23this one we've actually broken out.
- 23:26First we broke a level and then on the
- 23:28test we've opened iceberg, which is kind
- 23:30of my favorite type my my favorite way
- 23:32of trading them, to be honest. I think
- 23:33ultimately we reached the final profit
- 23:35target and boom, $995
- 23:39with a single iceberg order. Really
- 23:41awesome. Even though the first part of
- 23:42the challenge was kind of challenging,
- 23:44this part started really really good. So
- 23:46I was very positive we were going to
- 23:47close this with a good profit. But then
- 23:49guess what? Then this thing happened
- 23:51where suddenly rhythmic trader Pro
- 23:54disconnected from my platform and uh
- 23:57I've then seen a lot of prop firms
- 23:58started having this problem. Even Apex,
- 24:01even One Up. Where basically when you're
- 24:03starting to be really profitable, at
- 24:04some point for some weird reason, the
- 24:06rhythmic trader connection to the prop
- 24:08firm somehow does these bugs and
- 24:10basically opens contracts out of
- 24:13nowhere. I didn't open that contract. As
- 24:15you can see in the screen, there is
- 24:17absolutely no trade on the screen, but
- 24:19it says there's five contracts open. And
- 24:21I didn't open that trade at all. And as
- 24:22soon as it recovers, look at this.
- 24:24There's an open contract in the middle
- 24:26of nowhere. Absolutely no setup.
- 24:29Completely crazy. And guess what? We are
- 24:31right before market eventually close.
- 24:34And there you go. Market just closed. I
- 24:35was not able to close this trade on time
- 24:37and guess what happened. I tried to text
- 24:39to the support. I'm six I'm almost
- 24:41there, guys. I'm $6,000. I'm more than
- 24:43$6,000. I'm $9,000 in profit and I
- 24:46genuinely ask for help. The rhythmic
- 24:48trader Pro starts not working. You know
- 24:50what's coming. This is the position you
- 24:51left open. It was open out of nowhere.
- 24:54Apparently I broke again the rule for a
- 24:56trade that was automatically open in
- 24:58this One Up account, not by me. Really
- 25:01weird. So I'm no longer eligible for
- 25:03funding. Please tell me this is a
- 25:04[ __ ] joke. So at a 64% of the profit
- 25:06target, $9,000 in profit after being
- 25:09profitable for the first for the first
- 25:10challenge and the second challenge for
- 25:12some stupid [ __ ] rule and from what
- 25:14I believe was a complete scam, I got
- 25:17denied funding once more. So I decided
- 25:19to change the prop firm with The Trading
- 25:21Pit, which was a different prop firm.
- 25:23Now this was a gap fill type of setup
- 25:26that I opened slightly before the New
- 25:28York session was opening. Ultimately one
- 25:30of them went to break even and the other
- 25:33one as well and I simply closed the day
- 25:35with a slight loss. This is another
- 25:37trade that I always took as you can see
- 25:38at the open of the session on the first
- 25:40standard deviation of the VWAP as soon
- 25:42as we broke inside and I had a great run
- 25:44up up to a thousand-ish
- 25:48dollars in profit. And at this point I
- 25:50just decided to manually close the trade
- 25:52by selling market and I closed the trade
- 25:53like this. Moving on to another trade
- 25:55that I opened always at the uh early
- 25:57stages of the session. Again with a
- 25:59divergence on the CVD. I set my take
- 26:01profit on the other side of the VWAP. It
- 26:04started ranging there and almost got to
- 26:07my target and then ultimately reached
- 26:09take profit and closing that day with a
- 26:12thousand dollars take profit. Here we
- 26:14open another trade very similarly. The
- 26:16same type of concepts. We see an
- 26:18absorption on the top on the upper
- 26:20standard deviations. Then a great
- 26:22reactions from sellers. This one had
- 26:24actually I think no CVD divergence.
- 26:26Yeah, we ultimately get stopped out on
- 26:28this one for a loss of $500. Now we're
- 26:31back with the $150,000
- 26:33account. So the stop losses are smaller.
- 26:36Moving on to the next trade. Still the
- 26:38same setup. Order flow divergence setup.
- 26:40We are on the bottom standard
- 26:41deviations. Price started consolidating
- 26:44and I think ultimately we got stopped
- 26:47out on this one. Yes, we got stopped out
- 26:50with for a loss of
- 26:52around a thousand dollar. Then I think
- 26:54we reopened the same trade. We took
- 26:56another loss, but ultimately we took
- 26:58this other trade. Then we moved our stop
- 27:00loss below the previous low, so we
- 27:02trailed our stop loss. We waited for our
- 27:04price to reach our target and up above
- 27:07there we got a squeeze. Squeezed it
- 27:09almost touched like literally touched
- 27:11our take profit without really taking
- 27:13it, but ultimately it did and we closed
- 27:16with a $4,000
- 27:18uh
- 27:19Really good session. This was our
- 27:21dashboard in The Trading Pit. We
- 27:23requested the upgrade. The account
- 27:25status said under review and here's the
- 27:27email I got and then we ultimately
- 27:30received the contract that I had to
- 27:32sign. And as you can see, this is the
- 27:35part that sucks. For the first payout, I
- 27:37could only withdraw $900, which is less
- 27:41than the money I've paid for these for
- 27:43these entire challenges. It wouldn't
- 27:45even make sense to keep trading just to
- 27:47get a $900 payout. But let's see the
- 27:49stats of the whole challenge. So I
- 27:51exported all of the trades of the first
- 27:53phase of One Up, the second phase of One
- 27:55Up and the final phase in The Trading
- 27:57Pit. The total wins amounted to $34,000,
- 28:00$50,000 of losses for a profit factor of
- 28:022.2 with a positive risk to reward with
- 28:04around a 50% win rate, an average risk
- 28:07of 0.20%, a maximum drawdown of 2.15%
- 28:11and a gain of 10%. Clearly with a very
- 28:12conservative risk management. Let me
- 28:14zoom out so we can see also the equity
- 28:17line. So over more than a hundred
- 28:18trades, I proved that my edge was
- 28:20profitable, which was kind of the whole
- 28:22goal of this challenge. But after
- 28:24trading for four months and being
- 28:25profitable, being super careful about
- 28:27risk management, because of some [ __ ]
- 28:29rules, got denied funding multiple
- 28:31times. And with The Trading Pit, the
- 28:33first profit was also capped at $900,
- 28:36which is [ __ ] ridiculous. So after
- 28:38all of this, I just decided that it
- 28:39doesn't make sense for me to trade
- 28:40futures prop firm anymore. I took a big
- 28:42break from prop firms, but regardless of
- 28:44the funding, I was able to find an edge
- 28:46thanks to order flow. I was able to find
- 28:47a very mechanical edge that you can try
- 28:50and test yourself as it is based on very
- 28:52simple and replicable patterns. But I've
- 28:54now shifted to options trading still
- 28:56through order flow and option flow. So
- 28:58I've studied more and realized if you
- 29:01merge option flow and order flow, you
- 29:03can really get the best out of the
- 29:04markets. And I have now a Charles Schwab
- 29:06account and uh
- 29:08yep, this is my
- 29:10current dashboard
- 29:12where I have deposited around $50,000
- 29:15and if I go to the portfolio performance
- 29:17part and we go right after this deposit,
- 29:20which was I think I I started trading
- 29:22this early
- 29:24September. So let's go to September 6th.
- 29:26September 6th.
- 29:29Yeah, there you go. This is the current
- 29:31performance. I only put $50,000. It's a
- 29:33forward testing phase, but the return of
- 29:35this style of trading is really really
- 29:37good, I would say. This forward testing
- 29:38phase where I'm getting more and more
- 29:40confident with trading options will last
- 29:42I think another two months and then I'm
- 29:44going to start loading more capital
- 29:45inside here and I will trade this for
- 29:47the next year while documenting the
- 29:48process. So, you might want to subscribe
- 29:50to the channel and see me in 1 year from
- 29:52now, and we'll see where this account
- 29:54sits at. In the meantime, I hope you try
- 29:55this strategy. Let me know what you
- 29:56think. For this video, it's all. Now,
- 29:58[ __ ] off.
