8. 0:17drive and they claim that they either
9. 0:20have normal wear or simply dents and
10. 0:22scratches and I don't believe any of it.
11. 0:25We are going to inspect these cars that
12. 0:27look too good to be true, that are too
13. 0:29cheap, that you're tempted to buy with a
14. 0:31click of a button, and I'm going to show
15. 0:33you what the real deal is. Now, we might
16. 0:35look at some cool stuff like this, and
17. 0:37we might look at cars like these as
18. 0:40well. But how many exotic car and
19. 0:42wrecked car auction videos have you
20. 0:45seen? I want to show you guys realistic
21. 0:47cars. And what in the world is this? Wa!
22. 0:50A super saloon. This has got to be
23. 0:53right-hand drive.

25. 0:57list. Wow. Well, it looks like we're

48. 1:44physically come to these auctions to
49. 1:46look at the cars. But but I did. We're
50. 1:48about to start this thing. Look [music]
51. 1:49it. It's got aftermarket heads, too.
52. 1:51What? Oh, she's locked. This thing is
53. 1:53[music] only 1,700 bucks. This one could
54. 1:56be an absolute steal. 5,300 bucks with a
55. 1:58clean title. Seriously, I might buy

57. 2:01Silverado for only 1,600 bucks. This
58. 2:03thing is about to break in half.

210. 7:09But again, you got to know what you're
211. 7:11looking for. So, this is one of two Rav

213. 7:14So, this says it's a run and drive. But,
214. 7:16you know, you zoom into the pictures.
215. 7:17This is definitely been sitting under a
216. 7:18tree for a long time. I pretty much
217. 7:20nothing kills a Toyota, though, right?

236. 7:56you need a really cheap beater, you
237. 7:58know, you can go on marketplace, but you
238. 8:00can also find them at auctions like
239. 8:01this. I bought a Honda CRV for like
240. 8:03a,000 bucks. So there's there's a good
241. 8:05chance that that beers are back. And you
242. 8:07want to know what else is back? the NBA

329. 11:04clearly listed as is. Okay? The reason
330. 11:07why I want to show you guys this stuff
331. 11:09is because so many people watch YouTube
332. 11:11videos of people getting a phenomenal
333. 11:13deal at the salvage auction and they
334. 11:15don't put in numbers. They just want to
335. 11:17look good on the internet. And and I'm
336. 11:19telling you guys, buying auction cars is
337. 11:21insanely risky. You cannot just click
338. 11:24buy when it says minor dents and
339. 11:25scratches or normal wear. there's always
340. 11:27more to the story and sometimes it's the
341. 11:30sellers that are being dishonest. So, in
342. 11:32a lot of cases, these cars aren't owned
343. 11:33by the auction. They're owned by someone
344. 11:35else who's trying sometimes to get
345. 11:37something over on someone else because
346. 11:39they know it's asis and there's nothing
347. 11:41they can do about it once they buy it.
348. 11:43So, anyway, that's my rant with auction
349. 11:44cars. Just you got to be careful. But,
350. 11:46let's let's keep going and I'll I'll
351. 11:48make some more examples for you. Also,
352. 11:49guys, something to consider. Not saying
353. 11:51these aren't broken at the dealer, but
354. 11:52sometimes the prices at the salvage
355. 11:54auction aren't that good to be honest
356. 11:57with you. I mean, 71,000 mi for 25.
357. 11:59Yeah, obviously these are more, but they
358. 12:00have like half the miles. I mean, look
359. 12:02at this one's got 50,000 mi less for 22.
360. 12:04And then you have to factor in fees.
361. 12:05We'll talk more about that in a minute.

370. 12:24but Whoa. Oh, and it smells in here like
371. 12:27like someone was smoking something. All
372. 12:29right, we got a bunch of uh engine stuff
373. 12:31in the back. Okay, we can't even try and
374. 12:32start this. Can't even get the hood
375. 12:34open. Yeah, I can't even get the hood
376. 12:35open on that one. So, definitely
377. 12:36something wrong with the engine and it
378. 12:38was probably in a collision, too. This
379. 12:39one's not on my list, but it's a newer
380. 12:41GLS Mercedes that was in a flood. And
381. 12:44look at the water line. That is pretty
382. 12:46low for an SUV. Yeah, it doesn't even
383. 12:48smell in here. Oh, they got this seat
384. 12:49out of it. It's back there. Look at all
385. 12:51these modules. Yeah. Oh, this is too
386. 12:53cool not to check out. Good chance
387. 12:55insurance paid a shop to start poking
388. 12:57around. Oh yeah, just a little bit of
389. 12:59water did get in. But man, some of these
390. 13:00really aren't bad. The water floods.

403. 13:28for good deals because I've gotten them
404. 13:29myself. You just got to know what to
405. 13:31look for. So, water lines and SUVs like
406. 13:33that, it's sometimes not that bad to
407. 13:35fix. And I wonder if we can see how much
408. 13:37this thing is going for cuz it is
409. 13:39definitely definitely running. It's got
410. 13:4128,000 mi. The interior is really nice
411. 13:43outside of the seat back here. It's got
412. 13:45gray tires. It's a 21. It's an upcoming
413. 13:47lot. 56,000 mi water flood. Look, I'm
414. 13:50not telling you guys to go buy water
415. 13:51flood cars, but the high risk cars have
416. 13:54the highest reward. And a lot of people
417. 13:56are afraid of flood damaged cars. But if
418. 13:58you know what to look for, like the
419. 14:00water line, you can get a great deal.
420. 14:01Now, when I bought my frozen auto, my
421. 14:03flooded Silverado that then froze, the
422. 14:05water line was like really, really high.
423. 14:08I bought that because I thought it was a
424. 14:09good challenge. But if you see that,
425. 14:11don't don't buy that. Although even that
426. 14:13one I was able to fix up and get back on
427. 14:15the road and it's perfect and I still
428. 14:16know the owner and it's been like 20,000
429. 14:18miles and it's great. But uh but anyway,
430. 14:19those are for kind of more experienced
431. 14:21people. But if you see a low water line
432. 14:23and a super cheap price and you're a
433. 14:25gambler, you could come out big. All
434. 14:27right, here's the one I was actually
435. 14:28looking for. Another black Mercedes SUV.
436. 14:31This is the GLE. And I like to zoom into
437. 14:34pictures and look for stuff like this.
438. 14:36Basically, brand new Michelin tires.
439. 14:39That is a very, very good sign. If you
440. 14:41see expensive tires on a used car, the
441. 14:43person usually cared for their car. And
442. 14:45this is another minor dents and
443. 14:46scratches, like no big deal.
444. 14:48Everything's great. And it's got a
445. 14:49beautiful interior, guys. Look at that.
446. 14:53It's got some miles on it, that's for
447. 14:55sure.
448. 14:56Fires right up, though. And uh, wow. I
449. 15:00don't think we're going to have any
450. 15:00warning lights here. Just that the doors
451. 15:02open.
452. 15:02>> Something else, if they have a picture
453. 15:04of them, is to always look at the floor
454. 15:05mats if they have expensive floor mats.
455. 15:07also another good sign that it's a
456. 15:08maintained vehicle. You don't have a lot
457. 15:10to go off of when you're looking at
458. 15:11these auction sites. So, it's these
459. 15:13little things that people don't think
460. 15:14about that are important. But this
461. 15:16six-cylinder is running great. I got to
462. 15:18say, it sounds perfect. And this is a
463. 15:20buy it now car. So, wow. It goes up in
464. 15:23one day. And clean title. If it says
465. 15:25certificate of title, that means clean.
466. 15:26Buy it now for $29,000. Okay. But again,
467. 15:29check the prices online. 100,000 mi for
468. 15:32$299. 57,000 mi for 33. So something
469. 15:35like this I would wait till it runs a
470. 15:37few times. They'll probably lower the
471. 15:38price. All right, one more quick rav for
472. 15:40for you. Oh, it's the opposite. This is
473. 15:41the one for 850. Okay, so the other one
474. 15:43I think was more expensive. Certificate
475. 15:45of title. 225,000 mi. Again, not bad for

601. 19:59People get to write down what you know
602. 20:01is wrong with their cars. They don't
603. 20:03check all the cars. There's no
604. 20:04inspection going on at a salvage
605. 20:06auction. You're buying usually cars that
606. 20:08are in wrecks. So, you know, when it
607. 20:10says normal wear or dents and scratches,
608. 20:12you got to be careful. Oh,
