  1. 0:00The truth is, I don't need motivation. I
  2. 0:02need sedation. The idea of wandering
  3. 0:04around barefoot, collecting flowers, and
  4. 0:06frolicking through fields in my free
  5. 0:08time sounds delightful on paper. The
  6. 0:10problem is, my brain won't leave me
  7. 0:12alone. Free time feels uncomfortable.
  8. 0:14How can I relax when I have so many
  9. 0:15ideas and not enough lifetimes? I'm
  10. 0:17overwhelmed by possibility. Every time I
  11. 0:19stop working, my brain [music] opens new
  12. 0:21tabs. A constant reminder of my 47
  13. 0:23world-changing, life-altering,
  14. 0:25industry-disrupting ideas, none of which
  15. 0:27are finished. My notes app is a
  16. 0:29graveyard for ambition. I love my work.
  17. 0:31I just don't know how to stop doing it.
  18. 0:33Nothing makes me want to launch myself
  19. 0:34into the sun quite like wasting 20
  20. 0:36minutes. I can derail an entire
  21. 0:38afternoon thinking about 1 hour that was
  22. 0:40wasted that morning. [music] People
  23. 0:41always ask how you stay disciplined when
  24. 0:43you're self-employed. But you don't need
  25. 0:45a manager when your brain is already
  26. 0:46conducting hourly [music] performance
  27. 0:47reviews. Some people go on holiday. My
  28. 0:49reward for completing a project is
  29. 0:51[music] starting another project. Turns
  30. 0:53out I have to physically remove myself
  31. 0:55from civilization just to take a day
  32. 0:56off, because I can't [music] be trusted
  33. 0:58around Wi-Fi.
