1. 0:00My little sister cries hundred-dollar
2. 0:02bills, so a family adopts her and leaves
3. 0:04me behind. But they don't know what my
4. 0:06tears can make. I'm Faith. My sister is
5. 0:08Billie. When Mom passed away, [music] I
6. 0:10put her teddy in Billie's arms. I
7. 0:11promised to protect her forever. One day
8. 0:14I come back late to the orphanage.
9. 0:15Billie is waiting at the window crying
10. 0:17[music] for me. Each tear turns into a
11. 0:19hundred-dollar bill. A visiting family
12. 0:21sees everything. Their daughter Tiffany
13. 0:23picks one up and whispers to her
14. 0:25parents. They decide to adopt Billie
15. 0:27that same afternoon. Billie grips my
16. 0:29hand and begs them to take us both. Her
17. 0:31parents say they only have room for one.
18. 0:33Billie is taken into the car still
19. 0:35reaching [music] for me. The car drives
20. 0:36away. I chase after it until my legs
21. 0:39give out. At their house, Tiffany waits
22. 0:41for her to cry. She wants a new phone.
23. 0:43She sits Billie on the couch with an
24. 0:44empty jar. Billie cries, but her tears
25. 0:47are only salty water. Tiffany shakes the
26. 0:49empty jar in front of [music] her face.
27. 0:51Billie cries harder. She squeezes Mom's
28. 0:53teddy against her chest. I miss Faith. I
29. 0:55just want to go home to my sister. A
30. 0:57hundred-dollar bill falls. Tiffany
31. 0:58[music] says my name. More bills fall.
32. 1:01Soon the floor is covered in bills. The
33. 1:03next morning, they knock on the
34. 1:04orphanage door. They adopt me, too.
35. 1:06Billie runs into my arms, but Tiffany
36. 1:09pulls me aside with a plan. The money
37. 1:11only falls when Billie misses me, so I
38. 1:13have to act like I don't care about her
39. 1:15anymore. If I tell Billie the truth, her
40. 1:17parents will send me back. Then Billie
41. 1:18will never see me again. That night,
42. 1:20Tiffany holds a jar under my eyes. Only
43. 1:23water. She calls me the extra sister.
44. 1:25Every day Tiffany makes me stay away
45. 1:27from Billie. I eat in a different room.
46. 1:29I skip her bedtime story. [music] My
47. 1:31door stays closed when she knocks. The
48. 1:32more I stay away, the more she cries.
49. 1:34More bills fill the jars. Tiffany
50. 1:36pretends to comfort her while she
51. 1:38collects the money. The next day Billie
52. 1:40holds Mom's teddy and asks if I still
53. 1:42love her. She asks if I remember my
54. 1:44promise. Tiffany watches from the
55. 1:46[music] hallway, so I tell her I don't
56. 1:47love her anymore because she has the
57. 1:49gift and I don't. Billie breaks down
58. 1:51crying. Tiffany fills a whole jar before
59. 1:53bedtime. The next [music] day she shows
60. 1:55off her brand new phone, but one phone
61. 1:57is never enough for Tiffany. She wants
62. 1:59more. Then Tiffany tells me to put mom's
63. 2:01teddy in the donation box. [music] I
64. 2:03refuse until she threatens to send me
65. 2:05back. Billy begs me to stop. The
66. 2:07donation truck drives away with the
67. 2:08teddy inside. Billy runs after it until
68. 2:11she can't anymore. She cries and bills
69. 2:13scatter around her. Tiffany rushes to
70. 2:15grab the money. When I reach [music] out
71. 2:17to help Billy backs away from me. The
72. 2:18sister I promised to protect is afraid
73. 2:21of me now. I wish I [music] could give
74. 2:22mom's teddy back to her. One tear slips
75. 2:24down my cheek. It turns into a diamond
76. 2:26teddy. More tears come and more diamond
77. 2:29teddies glitter around my feet.
78. 2:30Tiffany's eyes grow huge. Suddenly she
79. 2:32calls me her favorite sister. Suddenly
80. 2:35her parents want to hug me. Now I
81. 2:36understand. They only love what falls
82. 2:38from our [music] eyes. I place a diamond
83. 2:40teddy in Billy's hands. I ask her to
84. 2:42forgive me for everything. Then I tell
85. 2:44her the whole truth. I take her hand and
86. 2:46walk away from that house. This time she
87. 2:48[music] holds on tight and never lets
88. 2:49go. Billy's tears might be worth
89. 2:51hundreds. Mine might be worth diamonds,
90. 2:53but my sister is worth more [music] than
91. 2:55both. As a big sister, would you have
92. 2:57walked away, too?
