I copied Hormozi’s YouTube Strategy and it made me $100K — Transcript

- 0:00In September 2025, Alex Hormozi launched
- 0:02a second [music] YouTube channel. And
- 0:04within 6 months, this is what he had to
- 0:05say about it.
- 0:06>> If you've seen the highlight channel,
- 0:08you've seen that it has like
- 0:10800 view videos, 1,000 view videos, you
- 0:13know, there's some 20s, some hundreds,
- 0:14whatever. [music] That channel has more
- 0:16attributed revenue to ACQ than my main
- 0:18channel.
- 0:18>> Which, coincidentally, lines up with
- 0:21when YouTube will launch one of their
- 0:22most powerful features right now working
- 0:24for business owners. So, I decided to
- 0:26study what he was doing and we launched
- 0:28our own second channel a few [music]
- 0:29months back, and the results blew my
- 0:31mind. The most popular video on our big
- 0:33channel [music] has 7.7 million views
- 0:36and generated us $13,000 from YouTube.
- 0:38But this video on our small channel with
- 0:39only 20,000 views generated us over
- 0:42$100,000 already. But it's really not
- 0:44about what these channels are doing on
- 0:45their own. We've designed our channels
- 0:47in a way that they work together as a
- 0:49complete marketing engine to triple our
- 0:51business revenue in just 3 months. So,
- 0:53in this video, I'm going to show you why
- 0:55you should start a second YouTube
- 0:56channel, exact videos to make that are
- 0:5910 times easier to produce, now it works
- 1:00together with your main channel to grow
- 1:02your business faster. So, how does this
- 1:04two-channel strategy actually work? I
- 1:06don't want you to think of it as double
- 1:08the workload. Instead, you want to think
- 1:09of it as one complete system with a
- 1:12front end and a back end. Or, if you
- 1:13turn that sideways, it mirrors a sales
- 1:16funnel. Your main channel sits at the
- 1:18top of this funnel,
- 1:19job being to get attention and reach and
- 1:22more new viewers. And the smaller
- 1:24channel sits below and allows people to
- 1:26get a deeper look at the way that you
- 1:28operate your business and how you help
- 1:29your clients. So, that only the people
- 1:31who are actually genuinely interested in
- 1:32working with you will come. Each channel
- 1:35needs to serve a different purpose for
- 1:37the same person who discovers your
- 1:38content. Otherwise, you should just have
- 1:40one channel. So, now that we understand
- 1:42the strategy, I want to show you how
- 1:43we've actually implemented this into our
- 1:45business. So, on our first channel, I
- 1:47made this video right here. If I started
- 1:49a YouTube channel in 2026, I'd do this.
- 1:52Or this one, how regular people are
- 1:54blowing up on YouTube in 2026. Now, if
- 1:57you look at the title of those videos,
- 1:58the whole point was to kind of go
- 1:59abroad. People who are starting YouTube
- 2:02or people who think they're regular
- 2:03people, they're interested in an
- 2:05opportunity to get into YouTube. [music]
- 2:07And specifically, I was trying to reach
- 2:09business owners and entrepreneurs who
- 2:11didn't have a YouTube channel yet, but
- 2:13they wanted to start making one. And
- 2:14naturally, because YouTube is a free
- 2:16platform and there's mostly beginners on
- 2:18the platform, this is what I've
- 2:18discovered from, [music] you know, being
- 2:20on the platform for 7 years, most people
- 2:22are beginners, this video got 130,000
- 2:24views in just 30 days and it did good
- 2:26for the channel. Now, views are cool and
- 2:27all, but that's not super useful if
- 2:29you're running a business. [music]
- 2:30What I was more interested in was
- 2:33how long did people watch that video?
- 2:35And you can think of it this way, if
- 2:36people are going to watch your video all
- 2:38the way till the end, the ones who get
- 2:40to the end are the ones who are a bit
- 2:41more serious, who like you more, or are
- 2:44looking for a deeper [music] way to work
- 2:46with you. And what I did at the end of
- 2:47that video was actually the reason why
- 2:49this other video generated so much more
- 2:51revenue for my business. All I did was
- 2:53tell people, "Hey, if you enjoyed this
- 2:54video, you'll probably really like this
- 2:56other video that I made where I go way
- 2:58deeper into the actual systems and
- 3:00processes I used to help you implement
- 3:02this into your channel." And the people
- 3:04who made it to the end, who were curious
- 3:06and actually wanted to take that next
- 3:08step, instantly wanted to watch that
- 3:09video. Right? And that video was a much
- 3:11deeper dive, it went way more specific,
- 3:14people probably watched it, saved it,
- 3:15rewatched some of it, and eventually had
- 3:17no choice but to book a call with my
- 3:19team to see how they can work with us.
- 3:20The smartest B2B businesses are using
- 3:22this strategy to attract higher quality
- 3:25and get them bought into the ecosystem
- 3:27every single month. Now, I'll be honest,
- 3:29creating multiple YouTube channels for
- 3:30your business isn't really a
- 3:32revolutionary idea, but there have been
- 3:33some changes to YouTube in the past year
- 3:35or so that make this an opportunity that
- 3:37you must get onto right now if you're a
- 3:39business owner and you want to grow on
- 3:40YouTube. And so now I want to give you
- 3:42three really practical ways to implement
- 3:44this two-channel strategy into your
- 3:46business based on what I learned from
- 3:47the geniuses over on Hormozi's team and
- 3:49how it's working right now. The first
- 3:51one I learned from looking at the very
- 3:52first video that Hormozi posted on his
- 3:55Mermozie channel. Not the fact that it
- 3:56was just like 30 seconds long, the fact
- 3:58that he also collab posted that video
- 4:01with his main channel. What he's doing
- 4:03right here is letting people know and
- 4:04signaling that hey, if you like my main
- 4:07content, [music] you might like this
- 4:09second channel here where I go a lot
- 4:11deeper and share behind the scenes stuff
- 4:13of how we operate and what we do. And
- 4:14his super fans, the people who love him
- 4:17to death, are going to follow along and
- 4:19watch his other channel. And I'm pretty
- 4:20sure what he's trying to do here is have
- 4:22someone's whole home feed just filled
- 4:23[music] with Hormozi, Mermozie, Leila
- 4:26Hormozi, acquisition.com, and School
- 4:28Games. A whole bunch of videos just
- 4:30filling up their entire homepage of
- 4:31YouTube every time they open it up. And
- 4:33the cool thing is, if your subscribers
- 4:35don't really care to subscribe to that
- 4:36new channel, they don't have to. And
- 4:38it's good. You actually don't want them
- 4:39to. You only want the true die hard fans
- 4:42who want to go deeper with you actually
- 4:44on that small channel. Now, this
- 4:45obviously only works if your main
- 4:46channel has more subscribers that you
- 4:47can actually drive traffic to, but
- 4:49either way it's a smart way to launch a
- 4:50channel. Now, I want to make something
- 4:51very clear here before you pull your
- 4:53hair out and think that this channel is
- 4:54not working just because it's not
- 4:56getting views. Because from a business
- 4:58perspective, when you see a channel that
- 5:00gets like 200 views a video [music] or
- 5:01500 views a video or something, you
- 5:03almost instinctively register it as a
- 5:05loss,
- 5:05>> [music]
- 5:05>> as a failure. But that's not the point
- 5:07of the second channel. And if you
- 5:09measure those things, you're going to
- 5:10lose all the benefits that it could give
- 5:12you. You need to measure [music] the
- 5:13channels based on the metric that
- 5:15actually matters for them. Hormozi, also
- 5:17not surprisingly, has a different
- 5:18[music] way that he's measuring success
- 5:20of his Mermozie channel than his main
- 5:22channel. He says the smarter metric to
- 5:24measure instead of just overall
- 5:26viewership or subscriber growth is
- 5:28[music] revenue per view. And that's
- 5:29actually something you're not going to
- 5:30see in your YouTube studio in your
- 5:32dashboard. You have to calculate it
- 5:34manually or using other different tools
- 5:36that you have at your disposal, like
- 5:37Google Analytics or any kind of
- 5:39attribution software where you can
- 5:40measure are these videos actually
- 5:42generating conversions in terms of
- 5:44emails, opt-ins, or sales themselves.
- 5:46And from that, you can reverse engineer
- 5:48how much revenue did a piece of content
- 5:49[music] actually generate for me and
- 5:51divide that by the number of views. That
- 5:54number tells you how much money each
- 5:56view is actually worth on your main
- 5:57channel and your small channel. And you
- 5:59should be able to tell there might be a
- 6:01big difference. For example, our main
- 6:02channel and the most viral video on our
- 6:04channel it got 7.7 million [music] views
- 6:06and it generated $13,000. On our newer
- 6:09smaller channel, in Creator Company,
- 6:10this video got 20,000 views and brought
- 6:13in over 100k. [music]
- 6:14Doing the math there, which one actually
- 6:16was better for my business? The second
- 6:17one. Now, you might be thinking, "Oh
- 6:19jeez, why don't I only make content on
- 6:20the second channel?" Remember, they have
- 6:22to understand that both of these
- 6:23channels work together. [music] The only
- 6:25reason that my second channel generated
- 6:27that much revenue is because we had
- 6:29proof on our first channel that we knew
- 6:30how to grow a business, but it also
- 6:32allowed people to learn more about our
- 6:34business and get there. And now, this is
- 6:35important because if you are a business
- 6:37owner, you have your own offers, your
- 6:38own products, and your own services,
- 6:40then in addition to getting revenue from
- 6:42AdSense, [music] which YouTube does for
- 6:44you, you'd be pretty dumb not to also
- 6:46market your own products. People
- 6:48sometimes forget that YouTube
- 6:50>> [music]
- 6:50>> is itself one of the best marketing
- 6:52tools of all the social platforms. There
- 6:54have been several studies showing how
- 6:55YouTube itself as a platform tends to
- 6:57drive higher conversions and build more
- 6:59trust. Alex also explains this in one of
- 7:01his videos like this.
- 7:02>> Our views are down should mean nothing
- 7:04to you.
- 7:05And also, conversely, our views are up
- 7:08should also mean nothing to you.
- 7:10If you are making more content and it's
- 7:12serving a specific avatar, then it will
- 7:15get shown to them and if it's good, they
- 7:16will buy.
- 7:17>> Now, you might think that the point of
- 7:18collabing with your bigger channel is to
- 7:19get more subscribers to your small
- 7:21channel. And I would say that's actually
- 7:23not the reason why. It doesn't really
- 7:25matter how many subscribers your your
- 7:27second channel has because your first
- 7:28channel is doing that social proof and
- 7:30credibility for you. The second one is
- 7:32really just designed for conversions,
- 7:34which actually brings me to the second
- 7:35big insight [music] I got from Hormozi.
- 7:37And it's the way that you can really
- 7:38deeply integrate the second channel into
- 7:40your sales process. I have been really
- 7:42deep in the trenches learning sales,
- 7:43which is kind of been like one of the
- 7:45highlights of my year, and I started to
- 7:47notice a pattern. The people who I speak
- 7:49to on discovery calls, who have never
- 7:51watched any of my YouTube videos from
- 7:53any of my channels, almost never close.
- 7:56Now, that might all just be because I
- 7:57suck at sales. I've been only doing it
- 7:59for a few months, but there was another
- 8:00interesting thing. Almost everyone who
- 8:02had watched multiple of my videos
- 8:05before, or already knew me before they
- 8:08hopped on a call with me, were much more
- 8:10likely to close. And I can even pull up
- 8:11some numbers here. My show rate for
- 8:13people who have seen some of my videos,
- 8:15which I've been tracking, is like 84%,
- 8:18which is kind of absurd versus people
- 8:20who haven't seen me before. And so, I
- 8:21thought to myself, what if there was a
- 8:23way I can almost guarantee that people
- 8:25would watch my videos before sales call.
- 8:28And I was like, wait, I can actually
- 8:29totally do that. And so, what I started
- 8:31doing is sending my prospects different
- 8:33videos from my small channel that were
- 8:36deeper dives, that were case studies,
- 8:38that went deeper into the problems and
- 8:39the stuff that they were experiencing.
- 8:40And they got to then, on their own,
- 8:43watch that video, see that I had a
- 8:45YouTube channel, see that I had another
- 8:46YouTube channel, and they just go down
- 8:48this content binge of all my content
- 8:51before they actually cut to a call.
- 8:53Personally, I don't know Alex Hormozi is
- 8:54doing this in his sales process, and to
- 8:56be honest, he probably doesn't need to.
- 8:58Because that guy is pumping out hundreds
- 9:00and hundreds of content pieces every
- 9:02single day on multiple platforms. I run
- 9:05a small team. We're not distributing
- 9:07that crazy right now, and so the way
- 9:09that we can kind of engineer that for
- 9:11ourselves is just sending people videos
- 9:13in our sales process, because I can't be
- 9:15everywhere all at once like that guy.
- 9:16He's a machine. He's got like 30 people
- 9:18on his team. So, if you're at that stage
- 9:20where you can mass produce content
- 9:22that's actually good like that, then go
- 9:24at it. But otherwise, this is the
- 9:25process that I found to work really
- 9:26well. And so, from doing that, I started
- 9:28to to really understand why YouTube is
- 9:30like the perfect platform for business
- 9:32owners. You could still make use of your
- 9:34YouTube channel, sending people videos,
- 9:36posting longer videos, getting content
- 9:38out there, and it has nothing to do with
- 9:41the YouTube algorithm. It has nothing to
- 9:42do with trying to go viral and get
- 9:43views. What you should basically be
- 9:45doing as a business owner is using your
- 9:47second channel as a sales enablement
- 9:49asset. And that actually segues
- 9:50perfectly into the third thing that I
- 9:52learned from Hermosi, which is probably
- 9:53the question you have on your mind right
- 9:54now. What content are you actually
- 9:57posting on your second channel? And to
- 9:58understand that, let's just take a look
- 10:00at Alex Hermosi's More Mosey channel.
- 10:02Looking through all these thumbnails,
- 10:04they're not really highly produced.
- 10:05>> [music]
- 10:06>> The titles are kind of vague and
- 10:07abstract and not really like click-baity
- 10:09at all. And the videos are mostly
- 10:11shorter. And just looking through and
- 10:12dissecting that channel, I noticed three
- 10:14things that [music] he's doing in that
- 10:15content strategy. Number one, volume.
- 10:17He's posting almost daily, sometimes
- 10:19[music] twice daily on that channel to
- 10:21basically flood the homepage for people
- 10:23who really like you with more and more
- 10:24content. The second thing that he does,
- 10:26which is
- 10:26>> [music]
- 10:27>> kind of genius, all of the content is
- 10:28positioned in a way that he is
- 10:30interacting with [music] a current or
- 10:32potential client. You know, the people
- 10:33who want to work with you are probably
- 10:34like, "Oh, does this guy actually know
- 10:36what he's doing or is he just like
- 10:37another internet hack?" And so, posting
- 10:39content where you're teaching, where
- 10:41you're working with someone, where
- 10:42you're answering people's problems, it
- 10:44gives people on the outside kind of a
- 10:47glimpse behind the [music] scenes. Like,
- 10:48how are you actually working with
- 10:50people? What are your methods for
- 10:51answering problems? And what is it
- 10:52actually [music] like to be someone in
- 10:54your circle or one of your clients? And
- 10:56you can kind of see Hermosi doing the
- 10:57same thing with his main channel and his
- 10:59[music] More Mosey smaller channel that
- 11:01he just started in September. I think
- 11:03right now we are kind of in like this
- 11:04this [music] trust recession, where AI
- 11:06slop is rising and flooding everyone's
- 11:09feeds with this fake [music] news and
- 11:10stuff like that. We don't really know
- 11:12what's real or what's not real anymore.
- 11:14And so, the more evidence you can give
- 11:15[music] that you are legit business,
- 11:17that you work with real people, you
- 11:19solve real problems, and you also have
- 11:21kind of a fun and enjoyable vibe, people
- 11:23really resonate with that. And that's
- 11:25what's going to get people sold on
- 11:26wanting to work with you. I can't tell
- 11:27you how many sales calls I've been on
- 11:29where people are like, "I just really
- 11:30like the vibe of your videos. I like how
- 11:32casual it is. I like how you're not
- 11:34trying to overly script anything. You're
- 11:35not being fake. And that really comes
- 11:37through because that's just who we are.
- 11:39And so, it's really important to capture
- 11:40what your interactions are with like
- 11:42your clients. And if it's bad vibes,
- 11:43then well, you have a really good
- 11:45project to work on for the next 6 months
- 11:47or so to improve your customer service
- 11:49and your relationships with your
- 11:50customers, right? And the third thing
- 11:51that I noticed in most of the Mermozy
- 11:53videos that he does, [music] more so
- 11:55than most of the videos on his main
- 11:56channel, he just fills them up with
- 11:58CTAs, or we call calls to actions. He's
- 12:01just telling people, "Hey, if you want
- 12:02to work with us, book a call." Or if you
- 12:04want to work with us, check out the
- 12:05links in the description below. So,
- 12:06almost all of these like short snippets
- 12:08of videos that people are consuming,
- 12:10getting value from, he's also telling
- 12:12them in all of those videos and
- 12:14reminding them, "If you want more help,
- 12:16book a call. You want more help, book a
- 12:17call. If you want more help, check the
- 12:19link in the description." It's so like
- 12:20unapologetically salesy. But, the thing
- 12:23is, only the people who want to be sold
- 12:25to are actually watching these videos
- 12:27because they're trickling in
- 12:28>> [music]
- 12:28>> from his big channel. So, it doesn't
- 12:30really feel like sleazy or scammy at
- 12:32all. And you don't see people in the
- 12:33comments saying, "Oh, you're a sellout
- 12:35for trying to sell so much." Because
- 12:37that's the whole purpose of this
- 12:38channel. That's why in this video, kind
- 12:40of breaking the fourth wall, I've
- 12:41mentioned already a few CTAs in this
- 12:43video itself. If you want to work with
- 12:44us, check [music] the links in the
- 12:45description below. We're opening some
- 12:47spots to work one-on-one with founders
- 12:49to build brands on YouTube and get more
- 12:51leads and sales for their business. I
- 12:52think that the founders who are going to
- 12:54win on YouTube in 2026 aren't
- 12:55necessarily the biggest creators. But,
- 12:57they're definitely the ones who have the
- 12:59most dialed-in sales processes, and
- 13:01YouTube is just one of the best tools to
- 13:03get there. And honestly, the timing has
- 13:05like never been better. Right now, if
- 13:07you have the bandwidth to do it,
- 13:08consider starting a second channel. A
- 13:09lot of people haven't caught on to this
- 13:11this new trend yet, this new thing yet.
- 13:13And I hope that these strategies that I
- 13:14share in this video are going [music] to
- 13:15be of some use to you. But, if you're
- 13:17not quite ready for that because you're
- 13:19still figuring out, "How do I make my
- 13:20first channel more successful first and
- 13:22get traction and and views and sales
- 13:23over there?" Then, definitely check out
- 13:25this video right here. [music] We break
- 13:26down the exact strategy to start
- 13:28building momentum on YouTube for your
- 13:30business. You got to want to check that
- 13:31out.
