I Built a Simple Website with AI to Make Money with AdSense — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00This looks like one of the most boring
- 0:01website ideas on the internet. A QR code
- 0:04generator. No products, no brand, no
- 0:07complicated software, just a simple free
- 0:09tool. But look at this. This website
- 0:12gets around 7.2 million visits per
- 0:15month. And look at the pages per visit.
- 0:17Around 3 pages per visitor. So people
- 0:19aren't opening one page and leaving.
- 0:21They're using the tool, moving around
- 0:23the site, and creating more page views.
- 0:25Why does that matter? Because when a
- 0:27website like this runs ads, more traffic
- 0:29and more page views can mean more ad
- 0:31impressions. Google even has an AdSense
- 0:33calculator that estimates revenue based
- 0:35on monthly page views, region, and
- 0:37content category. So, let's enter a
- 0:39number close to this traffic. Look at
- 0:40the result. Now, this is only an
- 0:42estimate. The real number depends on
- 0:44where the visitors come from, the niche,
- 0:46the ad rates, the season, and a lot
- 0:48more. But even as a rough guess, the
- 0:50opportunity is clear. And remember, this
- 0:52isn't a complex app with a full team
- 0:54behind it. It's just a useful free tool
- 0:57that people search for every single day.
- 1:00Here's another example, an invoice
- 1:02generator. Another simple free tool.
- 1:05Around 2.1 million visits per month. And
- 1:08the pages per visit is even higher. So
- 1:11now you see the pattern. These sites
- 1:12aren't flashy. They're not complicated.
- 1:15They just solve simple problems people
- 1:17are already searching for. a QR code
- 1:19generator, an invoice maker, a Wi-Fi QR
- 1:23tool, a word counter. Most people ignore
- 1:25these ideas because they look too
- 1:27simple. But simple doesn't mean
- 1:29worthless. Sometimes the most boring
- 1:32websites are the ones quietly making
- 1:34money in the background. And this is the
- 1:36model. You build a useful free tool.
- 1:38People search for it on Google. They
- 1:40land on your site and use it. And once
- 1:42the website is ready for Google AdSense,
- 1:44it can start earning from ads as the
- 1:46traffic grows. Now, I'm not saying
- 1:48you'll build a tool today and make
- 1:50thousands tomorrow. That's not how this
- 1:52works. You still need a useful website,
- 1:54real traffic, and approval from Google
- 1:56AdSense. But the model is real, and
- 1:59today, building the first version is
- 2:01easier than ever. So, in this video,
- 2:04I'll build a free QR code generator from
- 2:06scratch using Hostinger Horizons. I'll
- 2:09publish it online, connect a custom
- 2:11domain, prepare it for Google AdSense,
- 2:13and submit it to Google Search Console
- 2:15so Google can start finding it. The QR
- 2:18code generator is just our example. The
- 2:20real idea is that you can use the same
- 2:22process to build all kinds of free tool
- 2:24websites around different search
- 2:26keywords, and I'll give you the full
- 2:28guide with every prompt so you can
- 2:30follow along and build your own. Let's
- 2:32start. The tool I'm using is Hostinger
- 2:34Horizons. Horizons lets you build
- 2:36websites and web apps just by chatting
- 2:38with AI. You describe what you want and
- 2:41it builds it. And for this kind of
- 2:42project, that's perfect because we don't
- 2:45just need a design. We need the tool,
- 2:47the pages, the editing, the publishing,
- 2:49and the domain setup all in one place.
- 2:52So instead of jumping between different
- 2:54tools and code files, we can focus on
- 2:56the idea and build the first version
- 2:58much faster. To follow along, open the
- 3:01free guide in the description. In step
- 3:03one, click open Hostinger Horizons. If
- 3:05you want the same setup I'm using, my
- 3:07link is in the description, too. Here,
- 3:09I'll click view plans.
- 3:11Now, you can see the plans available.
- 3:13For this tutorial, I'm going with the
- 3:15starter plan. And the reason is simple.
- 3:18It gives us enough AI credits to build
- 3:20and test the project. It lets us create
- 3:22up to 25 websites, and it includes
- 3:24hosting and a free domain for the first
- 3:26year. So, for a project like this, it's
- 3:29a solid starting point. If you need more
- 3:31resources later, you can always move up
- 3:33to a higher plan. So, I'll click select
- 3:35plan. Now, Hostinger asks for the
- 3:38billing period. I'll keep it on 12
- 3:40months. And this part matters. 1 month
- 3:43can look cheaper at first, but you lose
- 3:45a lot of the value, especially the free
- 3:47domain. And we're not building something
- 3:48random for a single day. We're building
- 3:50a real website we want to publish,
- 3:52improve, and monetize later. Now, to
- 3:55bring the price down even more, I'll
- 3:57click have a coupon code. Then I'll
- 3:59enter profit studio and click apply. The
- 4:03coupon is applied and the price drops.
- 4:05After that, I'll click continue. Now
- 4:08Hostinger asks me to create an account.
- 4:10I'll continue with Google. It's faster.
- 4:13Then you'll reach the payment page. Pick
- 4:14whatever method works best for you.
- 4:16There are options like card, PayPal,
- 4:18Google Pay, and Apple Pay depending on
- 4:20your country. So, choose the one you
- 4:22prefer and complete the order. After
- 4:24payment, Hostinger may ask how you want
- 4:26to build your website. here. Make sure
- 4:28you choose Vibe Code with Horizons. This
- 4:31is the option we need because we're
- 4:33building the website by chatting with
- 4:35AI. Then click next. And now we're
- 4:38inside Hostinger or Horizons. This is
- 4:40where the real building begins.
- 4:44Now we can describe the website we want
- 4:46to build. But before I write the prompt,
- 4:48I want to show you something inside the
- 4:50free guide because maybe you're not sure
- 4:52what kind of tool to build or maybe you
- 4:54don't know how to write the prompt for
- 4:55it. So, open the guide and go to step
- 4:57two. You'll find a tool picker. Here, I
- 5:00added different free tool ideas that
- 5:01people already search for. A QR code
- 5:04generator, an invoice generator, a
- 5:06percentage calculator, a business name
- 5:09generator, a word counter, and more.
- 5:12When you choose a tool, the guide gives
- 5:13you a ready-made prompt to copy straight
- 5:15into Horizons, so you don't have to
- 5:17start from zero. For example, if I pick
- 5:19word counter tool, the guide hands me a
- 5:21prompt built for a word counter. I copy
- 5:24it, paste it into Horizons, and start
- 5:26building. So, if you don't have an idea
- 5:28yet, just pick one tool from the list
- 5:29and use its prompt as your starting
- 5:31point. But for this video, I'm building
- 5:33the QR code generator. So, I'll go back
- 5:35to Horizons and write the prompt for it.
- 5:37And the prompt doesn't need to be
- 5:39technical. You just need to clearly
- 5:40explain what the tool should do, what
- 5:42pages you want, and what sections to
- 5:44include. So, here's the prompt I'll use.
- 5:46I'm asking Horizons to build a clean QR
- 5:49code generator where users can enter a
- 5:51URL or text generate the QR code
- 5:54instantly, change the color, and
- 5:56download it as a PNG. I'm also asking it
- 5:58to make the website simple, fast,
- 6:00professional, and usable on both desktop
- 6:02and mobile. And I want it to add helpful
- 6:05content, a FACU section, basic SEO
- 6:07details, add placeholder areas, and
- 6:10important footer pages like about,
- 6:12contact, privacy policy, and terms of
- 6:14use. Now, notice I'm not only asking for
- 6:16the QR tool. I'm also asking for useful
- 6:19content, a fact q, an SEO title and
- 6:22description, add placeholder areas, and
- 6:24the important pages. And there's a
- 6:26reason for that. Later, when we prepare
- 6:28the website for Google AdSense, the site
- 6:30shouldn't look empty. It should look
- 6:32like a real website, a working tool,
- 6:34helpful content, and basic pages that
- 6:36build trust. So, now I'll send the
- 6:38prompt, and Horizon's starts building.
- 6:41Honestly, this is one of my favorite
- 6:42parts because if you've ever tried to
- 6:44build something like this by hand, you
- 6:46know how long it can take. Here, I just
- 6:48explained the idea and Horizons creates
- 6:50the website for me. So, I'll wait a few
- 6:53minutes while it works. And here's the
- 6:55first version. It already looks clean
- 6:57and professional. The main QR tool is
- 7:00right at the top. There's an input field
- 7:02for a link or text, color options, a
- 7:05live preview, and a button to download
- 7:07the QR code as a PNG. If I scroll down,
- 7:10Horizon's also added the extra sections
- 7:12we asked for. Here's the how QR codes
- 7:15work section and below it, the FAQ. It
- 7:19also added the important pages in the
- 7:20footer. About, contact, privacy policy,
- 7:24and terms of use. Let's open one
- 7:26quickly. Here's the about page. And the
- 7:28privacy policy is there, too. Of course,
- 7:31you'll want to review and adjust these
- 7:32for your own website later, but as a
- 7:34first version, this already gives us a
- 7:36complete structure. Now, let's test if
- 7:38the tool actually works. Back on the
- 7:41homepage, I'll paste a URL. Let's use
- 7:43the Profit Studio website. And the QR
- 7:45code is generated instantly. Now, I'll
- 7:48change the color. The preview updates
- 7:49right away. And if I want, I can click
- 7:52download PNG and save it. So, now we
- 7:54don't just have a design, we have a
- 7:56working tool. That's the first version
- 7:58of our free tool website. And from here,
- 8:00we improve it step by step. Now, we have
- 8:02the first working version. But before we
- 8:04publish, let's test it properly and fix
- 8:06anything that doesn't look right. So in
- 8:09the guide, go to step three, improve the
- 8:11tool website. The first thing I want to
- 8:13check is the mobile version. And this
- 8:15matters because a lot of visitors won't
- 8:17open a tool like this on a desktop.
- 8:19They'll find it on Google, open it on
- 8:21their phone, generate a QR code, and
- 8:23leave. So the mobile experience has to
- 8:25be clean and easy. Inside Horizons, I'll
- 8:28switch to the mobile preview. and the
- 8:30website works, but the mobile layout
- 8:32isn't perfect yet. Some elements feel
- 8:34too wide. The spacing could be tighter,
- 8:36and the tool needs to sit more naturally
- 8:38on a phone screen, and that's normal.
- 8:41The first version from AI is a starting
- 8:42point, not the finished product. So,
- 8:45instead of touching the code, I'll just
- 8:46ask Horizons to fix it. I'm asking
- 8:48Horizons to improve the mobile version,
- 8:51make the layout responsive on different
- 8:52phone sizes, fix spacing issues, and
- 8:54make sure the QR tool is easy to use on
- 8:57a small screen. Now, Horizon's works on
- 8:59the update. And here's the mobile
- 9:01version again. This already looks much
- 9:03better. The layout is cleaner. The tool
- 9:05fits the screen. And everything is
- 9:07easier to read and tap. Let me scroll
- 9:09down. The QR preview looks good. And the
- 9:12download button is clear. The feature
- 9:14cards are fixed, too. Before they were
- 9:16squeezed too narrow, and the text felt
- 9:18cramped. Now, they stack one under
- 9:20another so each card has room to
- 9:22breathe. And this is a key point when
- 9:24working with any AI builder. Don't
- 9:26expect the first result to be perfect.
- 9:28Build the first version, test it, find
- 9:30one issue, then ask the AI to fix that
- 9:33one thing. That's how you get a clean
- 9:35result. Now, I'll switch back to the
- 9:37desktop preview just to make sure
- 9:38improving mobile didn't break anything.
- 9:40And the desktop version still looks
- 9:42clean. The layout's intact, and the tool
- 9:44is right where it should be. Now, let's
- 9:46test the tool one more time for real
- 9:48this time. I'll paste the URL of the
- 9:50guide page. The QR code updates
- 9:52instantly. I'll change the color and it
- 9:55updates with the new color. But I don't
- 9:57want to just assume it works. So I'll
- 9:59scan it with my phone and it opens the
- 10:01guide page correctly. So this isn't just
- 10:04a design. It's a real working QR code
- 10:06generator. So at this point we've got a
- 10:09working free tool website. Clean on
- 10:11desktop, solid on mobile with a QR
- 10:13generator that does exactly what it
- 10:15should. Now it's time to take it out of
- 10:17Horizons and turn it into a real website
- 10:19online.
- 10:22So, let's publish it. Inside Horizons,
- 10:25I'll click publish. Then I'll click
- 10:27publish changes. And now the website is
- 10:30live on a temporary hosting or domain.
- 10:33That's useful for testing. But for a
- 10:35real project, I don't want to leave it
- 10:36on a random temporary link. If we want
- 10:38the site to look professional, easy to
- 10:40remember, and trustworthy, we connect a
- 10:42custom domain. So, I'll click connect
- 10:45domain. Now, Hostinger asks which domain
- 10:47I want to connect. And because I chose
- 10:49the 12-month plan, I have a free domain
- 10:52available. In my case, you'll see two
- 10:54free domains here. One I already had
- 10:56from before and one I got during this
- 10:59tutorial. But if you follow the same
- 11:0112-month setup, you'll see the free
- 11:03domain option here, too. Now, if you're
- 11:05not sure what name to pick, you can use
- 11:07chat GPT for ideas. For example, I'll
- 11:10ask it for short and brandable domain
- 11:12name ideas for a free QR code generator
- 11:15website, and it gives me a list. Of
- 11:18course, not every name will be
- 11:19available, so take a few, test them, and
- 11:22pick the one that's short, clear, and
- 11:24easy to remember. For this one, I'll go
- 11:26with vivacr.com.
- 11:29I like it because it's short, brandable,
- 11:31and tied to the QR idea. And when I can,
- 11:34I prefer a.com. It just looks clean and
- 11:36familiar. So, back in Hostinger, I'll
- 11:38enter the domain, and it's available
- 11:41free for the first year. So, I'll select
- 11:43it and click next. Now Hostinger starts
- 11:46setting up the domain registration. Then
- 11:48it asks me to confirm the domain owner
- 11:50details. These are used for the
- 11:51registration. So make sure your
- 11:53information is correct. I'll confirm and
- 11:55click register. Now Hostinger adds the
- 11:57domain to the website. And there we go.
- 12:00The domain is added. I'll click
- 12:01continue. Now you might see a message
- 12:04saying the domain is connected, but that
- 12:06it may need some time to fully work. And
- 12:08that's completely normal. In my case, it
- 12:10took around 30 minutes, but Hostinger
- 12:12says it can take up to 24 hours, so
- 12:15don't panic if it's not instant. I'll
- 12:17click got it. After a little wait, I'll
- 12:20open the publish menu again. And now the
- 12:23custom domain is connected. The site
- 12:25isn't on a temporary preview link
- 12:27anymore. It has its own name. So, I'll
- 12:29open it. And here it is, the QR code
- 12:32generator live on its own domain. It
- 12:34loads correctly. The design is intact.
- 12:37And the tool works exactly like before,
- 12:39only now it's public. A real website
- 12:42with a real domain, not a preview inside
- 12:44an AI builder. But a live website is
- 12:47only half the goal. The real point is to
- 12:50make it earn. So next, let's get it
- 12:52ready for Google AdSense.
- 12:54So what exactly is AdSense? AdSense is
- 12:57Google's platform for showing ads on a
- 12:59website. When your site gets traffic,
- 13:01it's one of the simplest ways to earn
- 13:02from it. But the ads don't show up
- 13:04instantly. First, Google has to review
- 13:06the site and approve it. So, let's start
- 13:08that process. Inside the guide, I'll go
- 13:10to step five. Then, I'll click open
- 13:12Google AdSense. And I like this line
- 13:15right here. You create will help you
- 13:17earn. That's basically the whole idea of
- 13:19this video. We build something useful.
- 13:21And once it's approved, AdSense helps us
- 13:23monetize it with ads. So, I'll click
- 13:25sign up. Here, AdSense asks for the
- 13:28website URL. I'll enter the domain we
- 13:30connected earlier, vivaqr.com.
- 13:33Then for performance suggestions, I'll
- 13:35keep yes selected. Now AdSense asks for
- 13:38the payment country or territory. And
- 13:40this part is important. Choose the
- 13:41country where you actually live or where
- 13:43your payment profile should be based,
- 13:45not a random country because you think
- 13:46it's better. Google uses this for
- 13:48account verification and payments. So it
- 13:50needs to be accurate. Then I'll scroll
- 13:52down here. You need to read and accept
- 13:54the terms and conditions. I'll check the
- 13:56agreement box. Then I'll click start
- 13:58using AdSense. And now we're inside the
- 14:01AdSense dashboard. You'll see a few
- 14:03setup steps.
- 14:05The first one is payment information.
- 14:07This is where you enter your personal or
- 14:09business details, your name, your
- 14:11address, and the information Google
- 14:13needs for your account. I won't fill
- 14:15this in on camera because it's private,
- 14:17but when you do it for your own website,
- 14:19make sure the information is real and
- 14:21correct.
- 14:22The next important step is connecting
- 14:24the website to AdSense. So, I'll click
- 14:26connect your site to AdSense.
- 14:29Now, AdSense gives us a verification
- 14:31code. This code confirms that we own the
- 14:33website. So, we need to add it inside
- 14:35the header of the site. I'll click copy.
- 14:39Now, I'll go back to Hostinger Horizons
- 14:41and I'll ask Horizons to add the code
- 14:43for us. The prompt is simple. Add this
- 14:46Google AdSense verification code inside
- 14:48the head of the website on every page.
- 14:50Do not change the code and do not change
- 14:52or break the design.
- 14:55Then I'll paste the AdSense code below
- 14:57the prompt and send it. Horizons will
- 14:59add the code to the website. And once
- 15:01it's done, we need to publish the
- 15:02changes.
- 15:04This part matters. If the code only
- 15:06stays inside Horizons and we don't
- 15:08publish the website, AdSense won't find
- 15:10it on the live site. So I'll click
- 15:13publish, then publish changes.
- 15:16Now the live website is updated.
- 15:19Let's go back to Google AdSense. Here
- 15:22I'll check I've placed the code. Then
- 15:24I'll click verify.
- 15:26And now the site is verified. This means
- 15:29AdSense can confirm that we control this
- 15:31website. I'll click next.
- 15:34Now we can request a review. This is
- 15:36where Google checks if the website
- 15:38follows the AdSense policies. So I'll
- 15:40click request review. Now AdSense asks
- 15:43us to create a consent message. This is
- 15:45about privacy and consent rules for
- 15:47certain regions, especially if your
- 15:49website gets visitors from places like
- 15:51Europe, the UK, or Switzerland. For this
- 15:53tutorial, I'll choose the second option
- 15:55because it gives users clear choices.
- 15:57Consent or do not consent. Then I'll
- 16:00click submit. And now the site is sent
- 16:02for review. This part is important.
- 16:05AdSense approval is not instant.
- 16:07Sometimes it takes a few days. Sometimes
- 16:09it takes longer, even a few weeks. So
- 16:11don't panic if your site is not approved
- 16:13right away. Submit the site, wait for
- 16:15the review, and in the meantime, keep
- 16:17improving the website. Now, before we
- 16:19leave AdSense, there's one more useful
- 16:21thing I want to show you. I want to see
- 16:23how ads could actually appear on the
- 16:25website because we don't want ads to
- 16:27ruin the experience. So, I'll close this
- 16:29page. Then, I'll go to ads. Here is the
- 16:31website. I'll click the edit icon. This
- 16:34is where we can preview and control how
- 16:35auto ads may appear. First, I'll turn on
- 16:38auto ads. Auto ads means Google can
- 16:40place ads across the website
- 16:42automatically. So, instead of choosing
- 16:44every ad placement yourself, Google
- 16:46suggests placements based on the page
- 16:47layout. Now I can preview how the ads
- 16:50might look and I can switch between
- 16:51mobile and desktop. This matters because
- 16:54ads can look very different on a phone
- 16:56than on a desktop. A placement that
- 16:58looks fine on desktop might feel too big
- 17:00on mobile or sit too close to the tool.
- 17:02So I want to check both before applying
- 17:04anything. And here is the key rule for a
- 17:06website like this. The tool has to stay
- 17:08clean. If an ad appears inside the QR
- 17:11generator or right on top of it, it
- 17:13makes the tool harder to use. And people
- 17:15came here to use the tool, not to fight
- 17:17through ads. That's why AdSense gives us
- 17:19excluded areas. Here I can select any
- 17:22area where I don't want auto ads to
- 17:24appear. So if a placement could
- 17:25interrupt the experience, I select that
- 17:27area and exclude it. Now that area is
- 17:30excluded. This means auto ads will avoid
- 17:32placing inpage ads there. Then I'll
- 17:34click apply to site. AdSense asks if I
- 17:37want to apply the changes now or run an
- 17:39experiment first. For this tutorial,
- 17:41I'll choose apply now, then save.
- 17:44There's also a tab called auto optimize.
- 17:46This lets Google test and optimize ad
- 17:48settings for you automatically. Leave it
- 17:50on if you want Google to experiment on
- 17:52your behalf or turn it off if you'd
- 17:54rather control everything manually. For
- 17:56a beginner setup, I won't go deep into
- 17:58every advanced setting, but the rule
- 18:00doesn't change. Preview first and never
- 18:02let ads block the tool. Now, let's go
- 18:04back to ad settings. There's also a
- 18:06section called inpage formats. These are
- 18:08ad formats that appear inside the page
- 18:10content. things like banner ads,
- 18:12multiplex ads, and related search. You
- 18:14can turn each one on or off. More
- 18:16formats mean more ad opportunities. But
- 18:19if you overdo it, the website can start
- 18:20to feel heavy. So, the goal is not more
- 18:22ads. The goal is ads that fit the page
- 18:25without annoying the visitor. Now, I'll
- 18:27go back. That was auto ads where Google
- 18:29chooses the placements. But there's
- 18:31another way we can create a manual ad
- 18:33unit and place it exactly where we want.
- 18:36This gives us more control. So, I'll
- 18:38close this preview. Back in the ad
- 18:39section, I'll go to buy ad unit. Here,
- 18:42AdSense lets us create different types
- 18:44of ad units. For this example, I'll
- 18:46choose display ads. Display ads are
- 18:48simple and flexible. I'll keep the size
- 18:50on responsive so the adapts across
- 18:52desktop, tablet, and phone. Now, AdSense
- 18:56asks for an ad unit name. This name is
- 18:58just for us inside AdSense so we can
- 19:00recognize the ad later. I'll call it
- 19:02horizontal top ad. For the shape, I'll
- 19:04choose horizontal. That fits where I
- 19:06want it near the top of the page between
- 19:08the title section and the QR generator.
- 19:11Then I'll click create. Now AdSense
- 19:13gives us the ad code. This is what we
- 19:15place on the website wherever we want
- 19:16the ad to appear. So I'll copy it. Now
- 19:19back to Hosting or Horizons. And I'll
- 19:22ask Horizons to place this ad in a
- 19:23specific spot,
- 19:25not inside the tool, but below the main
- 19:28title and description and above the QR
- 19:30generator.
- 19:32The prompt is simple. Add this ad code
- 19:34below the main title and description and
- 19:36above the QR code generator tool. Then
- 19:39I'll paste the ad code below the prompt
- 19:41and send it. Horizons will place the ad
- 19:43exactly where I asked.
- 19:46And that's the real difference between
- 19:47the two approaches. Auto ads are easier.
- 19:50Google decides where the ads may appear.
- 19:52Manual ad units give you more control.
- 19:54You decide where the ad should go.
- 19:57Personally, I like using both. auto ads
- 19:59for the simple placements and manual ad
- 20:01units for the spots I really care about.
- 20:05Now, Horizon's added the ad code. And as
- 20:07you can see, we now have an ad space
- 20:09between the main title and the QR
- 20:11generator.
- 20:12But notice something. The actual ad is
- 20:15not showing yet. And that's normal. The
- 20:17site is still under review. So, for now,
- 20:19we may only see an empty space or a
- 20:21placeholder. Once AdSense approves the
- 20:24site, ads can start appearing here.
- 20:27That's exactly why we set up the
- 20:28placement now before approval is even
- 20:30finished.
- 20:32Now I'll publish the changes. Otherwise,
- 20:34this placement stays inside Horizons and
- 20:37never reaches the live website.
- 20:39So I'll click publish, then publish
- 20:41changes.
- 20:43Now the live website is updated. So the
- 20:45moment AdSense approves the site, this
- 20:47ad placement is already in place. Now an
- 20:50important reality check. None of this
- 20:52means the website earns money right
- 20:54away. First, the site has to be
- 20:56approved. And second, it needs visitors
- 20:59because without traffic, there are no ad
- 21:01impressions. So, the real next step is
- 21:03getting the website in front of people.
- 21:05And that starts with making sure Google
- 21:06even knows it exists. Let's do that now.
- 21:11And the tool for that is Google Search
- 21:13Console. It's a free tool from Google.
- 21:15It lets you submit your site, check that
- 21:17your pages get indexed, and later see
- 21:19which search keywords are actually
- 21:20bringing people in. So, in the guide,
- 21:22I'll go to step six. Submit your website
- 21:25to Google. Then I'll click open Google
- 21:27search console and I'll click start now.
- 21:30Now Google asks me to add a property
- 21:32here. I'll choose domain and I'll enter
- 21:34the domain name only. No https, no
- 21:37slash, just vivaqr.com.
- 21:40Then I'll click continue. Now Google
- 21:43asks me to verify that I own this
- 21:44domain. And this time the verification
- 21:46is a little different from AdSense.
- 21:48Google gives me a txt record. I need to
- 21:51add that record inside the DNS settings
- 21:53of my domain. So, I'll leave this page
- 21:55open and head back to Hostinger. Inside
- 21:58Horizons, I'll open the menu. Then, I'll
- 22:00click Hostinger dashboard. Now, I'll go
- 22:02to domains. Here's the domain we
- 22:04connected earlier. I'll click manage.
- 22:06Then, I'll open DNS/name servers. This
- 22:09is where we add DNS records for the
- 22:11domain.
- 22:13Under manage DNS records, I'll set the
- 22:15record type to TXT. For the name field,
- 22:18I'll use the root domain value. in
- 22:19Hostinger that's usually at. So I'll put
- 22:22at here. Now I'll go back to search
- 22:24console and copy the txt record. Then
- 22:26I'll paste it into the txt value field
- 22:28in Hostinger and I'll click add record.
- 22:31The DNS record is added. So I'll go back
- 22:33to search console and click verify. And
- 22:35ownership is verified. That means Google
- 22:38now knows I own this domain. So I'll
- 22:40click go to property. And now we're
- 22:42inside Google search console. Since this
- 22:44is a brand new website, there's no data
- 22:45yet. So, if you see empty reports or a
- 22:48message like processing data, that's
- 22:50completely normal. Google just needs
- 22:51time to crawl the site and collect
- 22:53search data. Now, I want to submit the
- 22:55homepage. So, I'll copy my website URL.
- 22:58Then, I'll paste it into the URL
- 22:59inspection bar. Google checks the URL.
- 23:02And if it says the URL isn't on Google
- 23:04yet, I'll click request indexing. This
- 23:06doesn't guarantee instant ranking, but
- 23:08it gives Google a clear signal that this
- 23:10page exists and should be crawled. Now,
- 23:13one more thing. For a tool website like
- 23:15this, don't try to target everything at
- 23:16once. Start with one main keyword. For
- 23:19this site, that's something like free QR
- 23:21code generator. So, the page title, the
- 23:23tool, the explanation section, and the
- 23:25FAQ should all support that one topic.
- 23:28We already added the content and FAQ
- 23:30earlier, but you can always go further
- 23:32later with better answers, real
- 23:33examples, use cases, and more helpful
- 23:36content around the same tool. And while
- 23:38Google is still discovering the site,
- 23:39you can bring your first visitors
- 23:41yourself. The easiest way, short videos
- 23:43showing the tool in action. You can even
- 23:45use chat GPT for ideas. So, I'll quickly
- 23:47ask, give me 10 short video ideas to
- 23:50promote a free QR code generator
- 23:51website. Include a hook, a short script,
- 23:54and a caption for each idea.
- 23:57Now, I can take any of these, record the
- 23:59tool on my phone or screen, and post it
- 24:01on YouTube shorts, Tik Tok, Instagram
- 24:03reels, or Facebook reels. It doesn't
- 24:05need to be complicated. Show a simple
- 24:07problem. Show the tool solving it. And
- 24:08drop the website link in the caption or
- 24:10profile. That's how you get the first
- 24:12visitors while Google is still catching
- 24:14up. And that's the full setup done. But
- 24:16does this mean the website makes money
- 24:18instantly? No. You still need AdSense to
- 24:20approve it. You still need Google to
- 24:22crawl it. And you still need traffic.
- 24:24What you have now is the foundation, a
- 24:26real tool website that people can visit,
- 24:28use, and over time find on Google. And
- 24:31remember, with the Hostinger Horizon's
- 24:33plan I used, I can build up to 25
- 24:35websites. So, this doesn't have to stop
- 24:37at one tool. You can go back to the
- 24:38Hostinger dashboard, open websites,
- 24:41click add website, choose Hostinger
- 24:43Horizons, and start a brand new tool
- 24:45idea, a calculator, a word counter, an
- 24:47invoice generator, a business name
- 24:49generator, or any simple tool that
- 24:51solves one specific problem. And the
- 24:53approach stays the same every time.
- 24:55Don't build random empty websites. Build
- 24:58useful tools that solve real problems.
- 25:00Make them easy to use with helpful
- 25:02content. Publish them properly and
- 25:03prepare them for monetization. Then give
- 25:06Google time to find them. If you want to
- 25:08follow the exact steps, the free guide
- 25:10is in the description. The Hostinger
- 25:12Horizon's link is there, too, so you can
- 25:13start from the same place. And if this
