0:02time playthrough of Detroit become human
0:05I am so excited for this game it's a
0:08game that's been requested several times
0:10on this channel by viewers and I'm
0:12guessing that's for several reasons if
0:15you're new to the channel I'm
0:16Shenanigans you can call me Shen and I
0:18love story driven games that are going
0:21to make me fall in love with the
0:22characters and the world and the lore
0:25and I love games where choices have
0:28consequences whether good choices or bad
0:30choices and I'm guessing that is why
0:33this game has been suggested so many
0:35times to me and I'm super excited to
0:37just kind of get into it find out why
0:40everybody loves it this is a very
0:42beloved game it seems like I've heard
0:45wonderful things about it in fact if I'm
0:48being honest I don't think I've heard
0:49anything bad about it actually which I
0:50think is kind of rare so it makes me
0:53even more excited full
0:55disclosure the episode that you are
0:57getting ready to watch it is not the
1:01first time I've played through these
1:02chapters the next few chapters are not
1:05blind anything after this episode 2 3 4
1:075 however many episodes this takes for
1:09me to finish the game will be completely
1:11blind this game was suggested to me uh
1:14all the way back in like fall I think of
1:162023 and I started it then but I was
1:19right in the middle of Mass Effect and
1:21that is a very timec consuming game and
1:24now that I'm taking a break from Mass
1:25Effect 2 I thought this might be a good
1:27place and a good spot to revisit the
1:29game the good thing though is that when
1:32I played the first time I was I didn't
1:34play the demo or anything so I was a
1:35little overwhelmed with the controls and
1:38getting used to the pacing so I didn't
1:40explore a lot there's a lot of new
1:42things that I find in this episode and I
1:45also make different choices um so I'm
1:48really excited to kind of show you that
1:50as well with all of that said let's go
1:54ahead and let's get into Detroit become

20:58beautiful right the graphics are so good

21:06super immersive it pulls you right into
21:09the game I think especially because it
21:11starts with conflict you are immediately
21:14like kind of on edge a little bit and
21:16you're immediately in the game so the
21:19first time I went through this as you
21:20saw like we're a second ago I didn't
21:24sacrifice myself um I don't I think I
21:28selected sniper I think that's one thing
21:30that's really neat about this is that
21:33you can it kind of like saves your
21:35choices so I guess if you replay
21:37eventually you can maybe open all pass I
21:39think that's pretty cool but since I
21:41didn't sacrifice him like what happens
21:43now is he is he dead is he gone like
21:45what I mean obviously he's dead it said
21:47he was he was dead so what does that do
21:51what does that do for the story what
21:52does that do for him like I don't know
21:56also is sacrificing yourself is that an
21:58AI like an Android thing to do would
22:01that would that be in their programming
22:05I mean I don't know I think it's really
22:06cool and the first time I played through
22:08this uh because again I was like really
22:10overwhelmed so I wasn't really you know
22:12I was still trying to figure out the
22:13game and everything like that I didn't
22:15realize that Connor wasn't with the
22:18police department he I guess is hired by
22:22cyber life so he's kind of like a
22:24thirdparty
22:25contractor which I do think is kind of
22:28cool
22:30um and it kind of makes sense then why
22:34the
22:34detective is no not detective what's his
22:37name Captain Allen why Captain Allen is
22:39a little bit of a jerk to him uh cuz
22:42he's not with the police department
22:44right
22:45so it seems like he was very wary of
22:50Androids helping out with the case maybe
22:54not weary but I don't maybe frustrated
22:57exasperated I don't know he definitely
22:59had feelings about
23:00it I also love how they recreate the
23:04crime scene how like that's a that's a
23:07really cool mechanic to me that Connor
23:09goes back and he can just take a look at
23:12all the clues in the room and he puts
23:16together that Recreation of it I I love
23:21that mechanic I think it's so neat it's
23:23so different obviously than anything
23:25I've ever played this feels really
23:26different already than anything I've
23:27played so far
23:29um but I really I really like that
23:31mechanic a lot all right let's take a

40:59technology is a good thing I think that
41:03learning and growing technology is a
41:06good thing but it has to be done
41:08responsibly and respectfully and and
41:11without harm and this seems like it's
41:14harming a little bit so there why are
41:16there no politicians working towards
41:19fixing this I mean if there were we
41:22obviously wouldn't have a game but these
41:23would be like the questions I was I
41:24would be asking right um
41:28so I think it's really interesting that
41:29we kind of get to learn that right off

41:33people are so upset with Androids and I
41:36kind of wonder what would have happened
41:38if I had walked closer

42:34to be who needs to get the brunt of your

2:05:29Hank's ability to do his job and that
2:05:31that to me and maybe I'm wrong and maybe
2:05:33other people don't feel like that and
2:05:34that's okay uh it could be just because
2:05:36I think I I really like Hank so maybe
2:05:40I'm just choosing to look at a good side
2:05:42of it um I think Hank is a very
2:05:44interesting character this could be like
2:05:46a great example of the benefits of an
2:05:49Android in you know a sector like this
2:05:54and how Android and humans could work
2:05:57together but it doesn't seem like Hank
2:06:01is super open to it yet I don't know
2:06:03maybe he'll warm up to me and I'll and
2:06:05and we'll figure it out him dying did
2:06:07that change him at all like what
2:06:10happened there was he reset is he the
2:06:13same Connor from the first chapter or
2:06:17episode do they are how does that work
2:06:21what is that look like and is that going
2:06:23to be explained eventually I don't know
2:06:25that's that's kind of cool though okay
2:06:29so wait wait I feel like I missed so
2:06:33many things what did I miss with the
2:06:35crime scene oh my gosh I missed so many
2:06:39things I wonder what these were down
2:06:41here that's crazy but I think this is a
2:06:44good place to stop because that is where
2:06:47I stopped last time so everything past
2:06:50this will be completely new completely
2:06:53blind but I think this is such an
2:06:55immersive game I think it also might be
2:06:58a really heavy game which I wasn't
2:07:01necessarily prepared for um when I first
2:07:05played it so I'm kind of glad that I
2:07:07know going into it this time that
2:07:10there's going to be some heavy aspects
2:07:12to it I'm super excited to see what
2:07:15happens with Connor and Marcus and
2:07:17Cara the Cara situation makes me so
2:07:21incredibly uncomfortable that is the one
2:07:23that really has like I feel like my
2:07:25nerves standing on edge I love Marcus
2:07:29and Carl's story super interested to see
2:07:32where that's going are they ever going
2:07:34to explain what happened to Connor
2:07:35because it literally said Connor
2:07:37died what but he's here so do we get an
2:07:41explanation for that that's so
2:07:43interesting I thought I don't know I
2:07:45just thought maybe that was like the end
2:07:46of the line for him but um thanks for
