- 0:00Humans only spend money on three things
- 0:02and [music]
- 0:03three things only. The first is a
- 0:05solution. People will pay almost
- 0:07anything to make a problem disappear.
- 0:10Pain, [music] stress, debt, loneliness.
- 0:13That's why people pay a doctor without
- 0:14blinking. The second is convenience. The
- 0:17richest companies on earth are the most
- 0:19easiest. [music] They just made
- 0:21something faster, simpler, less of a
- 0:23headache. People pay a premium their
- 0:25whole lives just to skip [music] the
- 0:27hard way. And the third, my favorite, is
- 0:30an experience. People will pay a stupid
- 0:33amount of money to feel something they
- 0:34can't get anywhere else. Starbucks
- 0:37charges $5 for cheap coffee because
- 0:40you're not paying for the coffee, you're
- 0:42paying for the feeling. That's the whole
- 0:44list. Solutions, convenience, [music]
- 0:46experiences. Pick the one you'll be the
- 0:49best at and the rest follow.
