1. 0:00I want to speak to you for a few moments
2. 0:02from the subject you can have it and
3. 0:06you're going to find out that my sermons
4. 0:09are not like the usual sermons I don't
5. 0:11just stand up here and preach nice
6. 0:12little sermons I'm going to involve you
7. 0:15in this sermon I'm going to have you
8. 0:17help me preach this sermon so the first
9. 0:22thing that I'm going to do to involve
10. 0:24you in this sermon is to have you
11. 0:27convert my subject to the first person
12. 0:30and have you say with me I can have it
13. 0:35and I want you to point to yourself as
14. 0:37you say this together everybody
15. 0:40[Applause]
16. 0:44now I want all of you to stand and I'm
17. 0:47going to have you say that in a very
18. 0:49sassy way I told you this is a working
19. 0:54sermon this is a sermon which involves
20. 0:57you it's not just nice platitudes that I
21. 1:01give you you know that good book the
22. 1:05Bible declares that by your words you
23. 1:11shall be justified and by your words you
24. 1:16shall be condemned what does that mean
25. 1:18by your words you shall be rewarded and
26. 1:22by your words you shall be punished it's
27. 1:26important what you say in your heart so
28. 1:31I want you to speak some very strong
29. 1:33words at this moment put your hand on
30. 1:36your hip if you will and begin as we say
31. 1:39this let your backbone slip

33. 1:45and these are the words that I want you
34. 1:47to say with me in a moment no one can
35. 1:52tell me what I can't have come on
36. 1:57[Applause]

39. 2:04did you put your hand on your hip and
40. 2:07let your backbone slip now we're going
41. 2:10to say it again and we're going to shake
42. 2:12it to the east and shake it to the west
43. 2:17now this may seem like nonsense to some
44. 2:21people but let me explain what I'm doing
45. 2:24I'm helping you to deposit this positive
46. 2:28idea in your subconscious mind and you
47. 2:31see when you stand like this and put
48. 2:34your hand on your hip and let your
49. 2:36backbone slip this helps to embed this
50. 2:43positive idea in your subconscious mind
51. 2:47more firmly because here again the Bible
52. 2:51says as a man thinks so as he as a man
53. 2:58thinks of himself so is he you see this
54. 3:03is another secret it does not matter
55. 3:05what other people think about you it
56. 3:08only matters what you think about
57. 3:10yourself they're two wonderful texts
58. 3:13that I want to mention very briefly from
59. 3:16this good old book called the bible and
60. 3:18in the bible belt today down here in
61. 3:21Macon Georgia and the folks down here
62. 3:23really believe in this old book and I
63. 3:25love it the first text is from mark the
64. 3:3110th chapter in the 27th verse and I
65. 3:33want you to shout it back at me as I
66. 3:35read it jesus said unto him
67. 3:39[Applause]
68. 3:41if you can believe all things are
69. 3:47possible to him who believes
70. 3:53the next text is from Saint Mark the
71. 3:57ninth chapter xxiii burst and I want you
72. 4:00to shout that back at me as I shall read
73. 4:03it to you with God all things are
74. 4:15possible and I want you to notice for a
75. 4:21moment these two texts one text states
76. 4:24that with God all things are possible
77. 4:26the next text States if you can believe
78. 4:30all things are possible to him who
79. 4:33believes
80. 4:33now notice for a moment with God all
81. 4:37things are possible and all things are
82. 4:40possible to him who believes therefore
83. 4:44the person who believes is God in action
84. 4:51you see some of you thought that God was
85. 4:54in the sky oh no the person who believes
86. 4:57in himself is God in action and I want
87. 5:03to give you a personal affirmation
88. 5:04concerning this when you point to
89. 5:06yourself and say with me when I believe
90. 5:09I am God in action together when
91. 5:19I'm going to add something to it when I
92. 5:22believe in myself I am God in action
93. 5:26point to yourself and say this come on
94. 5:28when I am God in action let's do another
95. 5:36take and take it through when I believe
96. 5:38in myself I am God in action come on
97. 5:41together when

101. 5:52in now aren't you glad you know who God
102. 5:55is
103. 5:56some of you never knew that isn't it
104. 6:00wonderful to know that here again this
105. 6:03is what the mastermind Jesus meant when
106. 6:06he said you shall know the truth and the
107. 6:08truth shall make you free when you know
108. 6:11that God is no longer in the sky but
109. 6:14that God is the mind the power that is
110. 6:18within you
111. 6:18it sets you free from trying to get a
112. 6:21God in the sky to do something for you
113. 6:27when I believe in myself I am God in
114. 6:34action shout that again with me once
115. 6:36more when

117. 6:46in you see here in this philosophy which
118. 6:53we call the science of living we have no
119. 6:55outer gods but rather the inner God
120. 7:02which is in every man and we devote
121. 7:06ourselves to the Ministry of pointing
122. 7:09out to every man the presence of God
123. 7:11within himself now the person who
124. 7:16believes in himself is God in action and
125. 7:18all things are possible to him you can
126. 7:21have the good you desire if you believe
127. 7:23in yourself and so I want you to shout
128. 7:26with me again affirmatively I can have
129. 7:30the good that I desire so many times
130. 7:42religion has taught man that he's
131. 7:45nothing some religion teaches that all
132. 7:49mankind is nothing sometimes in church
133. 7:54they would teach us to sing that song to
134. 7:57refer to ourselves as such a worm as
135. 8:08[Applause]
136. 8:10stop singing and talking and thinking of
137. 8:15yourself as a worm if you think of
138. 8:19yourself as a worm you're going to get
139. 8:21the same treatment that a worm gets what
140. 8:24happens to a worm a worm gets stepped on
141. 8:28now you know why you've been getting
142. 8:30stepped on stop believing in yourself as
143. 8:37a son of a gun
144. 8:38and believe in yourself as a son of God
145. 8:47when the Apostle Peters confessed to
146. 8:50Jesus thou art the Christ the Son of the
147. 8:54Living God
148. 8:55he was speaking the truth of every man
149. 8:58the truth of every man the truth of me
150. 9:01is I am the Christ the Son of the Living
151. 9:04God point to yourselves and shout that
152. 9:07with me I am the Christ the Son of the
153. 9:12Living God Christ is the presence of God
154. 9:17in man and when you believe in yourself
155. 9:21your Divine self your God self your
156. 9:24spiritual self then you're believing in
157. 9:26Christ
158. 9:28some people say have you come to Christ
159. 9:33but listen you don't come to Christ
160. 9:36until you come to Christ in you you
161. 9:39don't know God until you know God in you
162. 9:42you Christians you don't know Jesus
163. 9:44until you know Jesus in you you can't
164. 9:48know God in the sky until you first know
165. 9:50God in you you will not find God until
166. 9:56first of all you find God in you when
167. 9:59you find God in you then you will find
168. 10:02God in other people you will find God
169. 10:04everywhere now you can have the good
170. 10:10that you desire if you believe in
171. 10:12yourself I want to get down to some
172. 10:17specific good desires which you may have
173. 10:21and I want to ask you a few questions as
174. 10:24I begin to close this message how many
175. 10:27of you desire to have health continually
176. 10:31to be healthy and hole in your soul mind
177. 10:36and body all right here is how it's done
178. 10:40if you want to be healthy have a healthy
179. 10:46belief about yourself and the healthy
180. 10:49belief about yourself will heal you and
181. 10:51keep you healthy for example this is why
182. 10:54I told the lady this afternoon who said
183. 10:57to me Reverend Ike I have this
184. 10:59bad leg I said there stop saying that if
185. 11:04you're having a problem with some organ
186. 11:07of some part of your body don't keep
187. 11:11cursing that part of your body by saying
188. 11:14oh this sickly the Bible says again you
189. 11:21are in snared by the words of your mouth
190. 11:27by your words you are justified by your
191. 11:30words you are condemned if there is some
192. 11:33organ hour some limb are some part of
193. 11:37your body but you're having problems
194. 11:40with stop feeding that part of your body
195. 11:43sick thoughts the more you say all this
196. 11:50sick leg the sicker you get and here
197. 11:56again I've seen some wonderful healings
198. 11:57when I've told invalids God walks in you
199. 12:01what does that do that gives the person
200. 12:04who has been suffering an image of
201. 12:08himself as being healthy that person
202. 12:12begins to visualize God walking in him
203. 12:16and he makes contact with the power the
204. 12:20presence of God within him and begins to
205. 12:22walk I challenge you who look in on
206. 12:26television I challenge those of you who
207. 12:28are here who are having physical
208. 12:30problems with your physical body stop
209. 12:33thinking this thought God in me is my
210. 12:37health that thought will bring about
211. 12:40your healing not only will it bring
212. 12:41about your healing you do not have to be
213. 12:43sick to pray this prayer this will keep
214. 12:45you well God in me as my health it will
215. 12:48keep you strong it will keep you young
216. 12:51so once again let all of us point to
217. 12:53ourselves and give ourselves this
218. 12:55healing treatment and while we're
219. 12:57getting ready to do this I want to point
220. 13:00out also one of the differences in this
221. 13:02philosophy is that we teach each person
222. 13:05to heal himself to bless him
223. 13:07and even to save himself I did not come
224. 13:16here to heal you I've come here to teach
225. 13:18you how to heal yourself and and one
226. 13:27moment again you know the first sermon
227. 13:29that was ever preached in the Christian
228. 13:30Church on the day of Pentecost the
229. 13:32Apostle Peter said to the people save
230. 13:34yourselves save yourselves from this
231. 13:44untoward generation so now let's give
232. 13:50ourselves as healing treatment this is
233. 13:52how you heal yourself this is how you
234. 13:54keep yourself healthy by realizing God
235. 13:57in me as my help right now together God
236. 14:08take that realization with you eat it
237. 14:12and drink it as you go eat it and drink
238. 14:15it in your mind nourish your mind with
239. 14:18the thought God in me as my health drink
240. 14:22the wine of the sensation of this
241. 14:24realization get drunk on the idea if you
242. 14:28please
243. 14:29be intoxicated on the idea if you please
244. 14:32that God in me is my health and here
245. 14:35again this is the meaning of the bread
246. 14:37and the wine the bread represents the
247. 14:40inner nourishment of your mind nourish
248. 14:44your mind with the thought God in me as
249. 14:47my health the wine represents the
250. 14:50sensation the feeling of the fulfilled
251. 14:55desire Drake the feeling become
252. 14:59intoxicated with the feeling with the
253. 15:01conviction God in me as my help
254. 15:04right now this realization will heal you
255. 15:07it will keep you well and it will keep
256. 15:10you young
257. 15:14[Applause]
258. 15:17by the way this is the only way that I
259. 15:20serve the Christian sacrament of
260. 15:22communion now I'm saying this because I
261. 15:24have some members of my church from
262. 15:25South Carolina who are here today and
263. 15:28they are probably wondering what is
264. 15:30Reverend Ike doing now while children
265. 15:32I'm growing I'm speaking in other
266. 15:38tongues if you hear me again a year from
267. 15:41now I hope that I will evolved into
268. 15:43something new and more glorious in my
269. 15:46thinking because one of the disc
270. 15:54services of organized religion is the
271. 15:56fact that organized religion tells
272. 15:59people you believe this and don't you
273. 16:02ever believe anything else and some
274. 16:08people when they do testify all they
275. 16:11have to testify about is something that
276. 16:13happened to them 40 years ago now how
277. 16:19did I get on there
278. 16:20how many of you are interested in
279. 16:22happiness oh if you want to be happy
280. 16:27except a happy belief a happy feeling
281. 16:30about yourself
282. 16:31so let's give us let's give ourselves a
283. 16:34treatment for happiness a prayer
284. 16:36treatment for happiness right now if you
285. 16:39please use your hand now to touch
286. 16:40yourself I'm having you touch yourself
287. 16:43and go through these motions for very
288. 16:47good mental mechanical reasons repeat
289. 16:51this with me I accept a happy belief
290. 16:55a happy feeling about myself right now
291. 17:02[Applause]
292. 17:06so this is the way you find happiness
293. 17:08and as you go out today from the service
294. 17:10and as you go through life keep a happy
295. 17:13thought a happy idea a happy feeling
296. 17:15about yourself and you will meet other
297. 17:18happy people and you will have many more
298. 17:20happy experiences
