- 0:04authenticator we all want to keep our
- 0:06online accounts and data secure
- 0:08multiactor authentication or MFA is a
- 0:11great way to do just that when you're
- 0:14required to use MFA to log in you need
- 0:17at least two pieces of evidence or
- 0:19factors to prove you're who you say you
- 0:21are the first factor is something you
- 0:23know like your username and
- 0:26password the second factor is a
- 0:28verification method that you have in
- 0:29your possession like a mobile device
- 0:31with a security app installed this
- 0:34additional Factor adds an extra layer of
- 0:36protection to your account because even
- 0:38if a vad actor steals your password it's
- 0:40unlikely that they can also guess or
- 0:42hack your verification method after your
- 0:45sales horse admin turns on MFA you need
- 0:47to provide a second Factor every time
- 0:49you log in we recommend using the

- 3:09password as usual Salesforce sends a
- 3:12notification to your mobile device in

- 3:52login
- 3:53information and to make it even easier
- 3:56still in automation settings the
- 3:58Einstein recommend ation option
- 4:01automatically suggests trusted requests
- 4:03for you finally if you need to log in
- 4:06but your mobile device doesn't have a
- 4:08data connection authenticator has you
- 4:10covered instead of responding to a push
- 4:13notification simply enter the onetime
- 4:15passcode that the app generates for you
