- 0:02Hi there, I'm Chris, an architect based
- 0:04in the UK. And in today's tutorial, I'll
- 0:07be showing you how to turn your
- 0:08architectural drawings into a full
- 0:09design presentation. We'll start with
- 0:11floor plans, sections, and millwork
- 0:14drawings. And I'll walk you through how
- 0:15to transform them into polished client
- 0:18ready presentations. Together, we'll
- 0:20build out cover sheet, a legend, mood
- 0:23board, and FFN sheet. So you can see how
- 0:25going the extra mile turns your
- 0:27technical drawings into stunning
- 0:29presentations. This step is key for
- 0:31winning client buyin, showcasing your
- 0:33ideas professionally, and doing it all
- 0:35with minimal effort using Rayon Design.
- 0:37With Rayon, you can create your drawings
- 0:39from start to finish and package them
- 0:41into a complete design presentation, all
- 0:43in one place without having to switch
- 0:46between tools. And today, I'll take you
- 0:48step by step through that whole process.
- 0:50If you'd like to follow along, grab the
- 0:51free template linked in the description.
- 0:53And if you want a tailored guidance, you
- 0:55can also book a one-to-one demo with the
- 0:57Rayon team. And finally, don't forget to
- 0:59like and subscribe for more tutorials
- 1:01like this one. And share your thoughts
- 1:03in the comments. I'd love to hear your
- 1:04feedback. Now, let's get started. I'll
- 1:07start with a short intro of Rayon's
- 1:08model canvas. In Rayon, you can import
- 1:10DWG files, DXF, PDF, and images. And it
- 1:15allows you to draw accurately and
- 1:16precisely editing plans to scale and
- 1:19essentially creating a full
- 1:20architectural drawing set from things
- 1:22like floor plans, sections, and
- 1:24elevations all the way to design details
- 1:27and even mood board images and FFN
- 1:29schedules. And today we're going to be
- 1:31zooming in to how easy it is to turn
- 1:33your architectural drawings into a full
- 1:35architectural design presentation right
- 1:37where you draw them. So let's review a
- 1:39few details on the model canvas and get
- 1:41started. Okay. So, from the home screen,
- 1:43you'll see the project here if you've
- 1:44downloaded it as well. So, I'm going to
- 1:46double click into there and open up a
- 1:48new window specifically for um this
- 1:50project. And we'll jump straight into
- 1:52the model canvas. You'll see it's a
- 1:54twotory residential project. Um we've
- 1:57got our floor plan here, all looking
- 1:59great. We've got two sections which are
- 2:02looking good. And then we've got this
- 2:04mill work drawing. So, this example
- 2:05kitchen with floor plan section
- 2:08elevation as well. Now, there's a couple
- 2:10of things that I want to be able to show
- 2:11you. One is Rayon's drawing ability. So,
- 2:15we're going to jump into the wireframe
- 2:17view. So, we just click on there, and
- 2:19I'm going to turn on the grid as well.
- 2:21And this will be very reminiscent of a
- 2:23tool like AutoCAD, for example. With
- 2:25Rayon, you can import DWGs, you can
- 2:27import DXF files, and you can draw to
- 2:30scale accurately. So, we're going to be
- 2:33drawing at one: One um and then we can
- 2:35take views of that at different scales.
- 2:37We have our wall tool where we can set
- 2:40wall thicknesses. We have an array of
- 2:42different blocks for doors and windows.
- 2:44And then we have an array of different
- 2:46blocks for furniture. And when you're
- 2:48drafting, it really is up to you whether
- 2:49you want to work in the wireframe view
- 2:52where everything is colorcoded very
- 2:54clearly. Um, or you want to jump back to
- 2:57the standard view. So, I'll jump back to
- 2:59the standard view. I'll turn our grid on
- 3:02off for a second. And you'll see here,
- 3:04for example, that we've got our floor
- 3:06plan. Now, the other aspect I want to
- 3:08show you is about layers. So, the floor
- 3:11plans are drawn on top of each other.
- 3:13So, this is a two-story building, and
- 3:15we've got a ground floor and a first
- 3:17floor that are layered on top of each
- 3:19other, and that's a really helpful way
- 3:21of doing things within Rayon, and it
- 3:23makes sure that there's perfect
- 3:24alignment between your stories. So, you
- 3:26can see here on this layer tab, I've got
- 3:28ground floor, and then I've got first
- 3:29floor, which is grayed out, which shows
- 3:31that it's not on. So, I'll just turn
- 3:32that on, and I can turn ground floor
- 3:35off. And you'll see that then the first
- 3:37floor information is overlaid and I've
- 3:39hidden the ground floor. And
- 3:41interestingly, there's a separate layer
- 3:42which is building shell which is
- 3:44basically all the outside walls. So if
- 3:46you know that your outside walls
- 3:47continue up two stories and it's just
- 3:50the internal arrangement that changes
- 3:52then this is a perfect way of doing it.
- 3:54Let's dive into the ground floor. Um and
- 3:56I want to show you a few different
- 3:57elements of that. So if we can open up
- 4:00that layer we have a lot of sub layers
- 4:02within that. So, at the moment, we've
- 4:03got this electrical plan which is
- 4:05sitting over the drawing. You'll notice
- 4:06here that these are these blue lines
- 4:08which highlight where the lighting
- 4:10layouts are alongside this key. So,
- 4:13again, this is drawn as an overlay onto
- 4:16the existing plan. So, I'm going to turn
- 4:17that off. And you can see that's now
- 4:20clear. And you can see we've got windows
- 4:22and doors, we've got dimensions, we've
- 4:24got shadows, we've got plants and
- 4:26people, furniture, we've got our
- 4:28internal walls, we've got our floor
- 4:30finishes. Let's just bring it right back
- 4:32to a very basic floor plan. So that's
- 4:35how the drawing would have started. So
- 4:37each one of these is a wall. Each of
- 4:38those walls has a different style, which
- 4:40is helpful within Rayon. So you'll see
- 4:43here this style of wall is a 30 cm wide
- 4:47wall. I could go back in and edit that
- 4:49wall if I wanted to, and then that will
- 4:50update all of those walls, which is
- 4:53incredibly helpful. But really to bring
- 4:56up your drawing to the sort of
- 4:57presentation standard we have all these
- 5:00additional layers which help communicate
- 5:03the real you know idea behind the
- 5:05drawing. So floor finishes for example
- 5:07they basically bound the space. So they
- 5:10read the inside line of these walls. So
- 5:14you can see by moving this wall it
- 5:15adjusts the pattern to suit based on the
- 5:18fill and also that space will be reading
- 5:21an area as well. So you can see in the
- 5:23properties style over on the right hand
- 5:25side it will show me the area and I can
- 5:27add a custom tag to that space if I
- 5:29wanted to. Then obviously you have
- 5:31dimensions. So the dimensions again they
- 5:33have their own style. So if I click on
- 5:36annotation style which is here this
- 5:38dimension style is consistent across the
- 5:40project. I could go in there I could
- 5:42change them all to green if I wanted to
- 5:44and that will affect everything which is
- 5:46tagged with that same style. You also
- 5:48have things like section lines and
- 5:51dashed lines as well. Then you've got
- 5:53things like blocks. So furniture, for
- 5:55example, are a series of pre-made blocks
- 5:58which live within Rayon, which are
- 6:00incredibly helpful because they're all
- 6:01already set up for you. So I'll show you
- 6:04the block library just a second. All of
- 6:06this furniture has come from Rayon's
- 6:08block library. So, you've got things
- 6:10like bathrooms, coffee tables, different
- 6:13types of um electrical equipment,
- 6:16kitchens, lighting, beds, mattresses,
- 6:19office furniture, people, plants, yeah,
- 6:22a whole host of different blocks. And a
- 6:25lot of them will have a variety of views
- 6:27set up as well. So, this one, for
- 6:29example, this sofa um set has got front,
- 6:33side, and top views. So, for example,
- 6:36here I just switch that round. There's
- 6:40an elevation which aligns with that
- 6:42plan. So, that's perfect if I wanted to
- 6:44set up a section of that space and I
- 6:47have now got an elevation of that
- 6:49furniture that matches perfectly with
- 6:50the plan. Yeah, that saves me so much
- 6:52time. And let's take this the kitchen as
- 6:54well for example. That has a side and a
- 6:57front view as well. So, let's just
- 6:59switch that to the front view. So, that
- 7:01kitchen perfectly aligns with that in
- 7:03plan. And you can see here this is
- 7:05already pre-built, pre-drawn within the
- 7:07model. And then we can add to it if we
- 7:09want to or adjust it how we see fit. And
- 7:12again, just like all the elements within
- 7:13Rayon, I can change the line types. I
- 7:15can change those blocks. I can even add
- 7:17color to those if I wanted to. And then
- 7:19jumping back to the layers, you can
- 7:20obviously add things like people,
- 7:22plants, and even shadows, for example.
- 7:24So the shadows really help, you know,
- 7:26help the drawing sort of pop out, add
- 7:28some dimension and depth to those
- 7:31drawings and really communicate, you
- 7:33know, the feeling of the space to
- 7:34client. So just by layering up that
- 7:36information, you are really helping to
- 7:38communicate your ideas. And hopefully,
- 7:41you know, it sells the idea a lot better
- 7:43than just that. And with layering up
- 7:45this information, hopefully you can see
- 7:47that, you know, by adding a bit of
- 7:49color, a bit of furniture, and a bit of
- 7:52texture, it really communicates the
- 7:54feeling of the space and how people
- 7:55might use it much more than a basic plan
- 7:58like this. And it's exactly the same
- 8:00premise for the sections and the milwork
- 8:02drawings. So, you know, there's a basic
- 8:04section which is living behind all of
- 8:06these elements, you know, very basic
- 8:08wall um arrangement and then you add
- 8:11these pre-built elements, these
- 8:13pre-built textures into the model which
- 8:16you can adjust at your leisure and they
- 8:18really heighten that aesthetic. They
- 8:20show you how people would be using the
- 8:22space. you know, a hint at the texture
- 8:24and color that might be within the space
- 8:26and it just gives people a much better
- 8:28understanding from a sort of
- 8:30presentation point of view for your
- 8:31clients, you know, what they're getting.
- 8:33And exactly the same thing with the
- 8:35middleware drawing. So, you know, we
- 8:36could have something that's quite
- 8:38technical. We can have, you know, our
- 8:39obviously our setting out, our section
- 8:41details, how, you know, things are
- 8:43hinging, how things are put together,
- 8:45but also we've got, you know, an
- 8:46aesthetically pleasing and communicative
- 8:49drawing that shows how everything is
- 8:51functioning as well. Now that I'm done
- 8:52with my architectural drawings, I'm
- 8:54ready to present them. Normally, you
- 8:56would be exporting your drawings from
- 8:57your design tool and then stylizing them
- 9:00in another tool and then maybe another
- 9:02tool for setting up your presentation.
- 9:03In Rayon, it can all be done in the same
- 9:05place. And really, that's where the
- 9:07magic happens. But how exactly do you
- 9:09set your drawings up into a presentable
- 9:11state? Well, let's jump into Rayon's
- 9:13paper canvas. I'll first show you the
- 9:15end result and then we'll recreate it
- 9:17together step by step. Okay, having
- 9:19explored the model canvas, I now want to
- 9:21show you the paper canvas. So, you'll
- 9:22see up here on the left hand side
- 9:24there's canvases. So, there's floor
- 9:25plans, which is the model canvas, and
- 9:27then you've got paper canvas here. So,
- 9:28I'm going to click on here, and you'll
- 9:29see we've got a variety of pages for our
- 9:32presentation already set up. So, we have
- 9:34our front cover, which gives us an idea
- 9:36of the type of feeling of the space, the
- 9:38duplex home renovation title. Here we've
- 9:41got a sort of thematic idea and a
- 9:43legend. And so we've got the sort of,
- 9:44you know, the contents of the
- 9:45presentation and lots of sort of
- 9:47interesting mood board images, our floor
- 9:49plans with hints of those mood boards as
- 9:52well. So we've got a ground floor plan,
- 9:54our first floor plan, and this is set
- 9:56within a drawing sheet. Then we've got
- 9:58our electrical floor plans. So I showed
- 9:59you earlier those electrical layouts. So
- 10:02these are now sitting on here as well
- 10:04with some ideas of different types of
- 10:06light fittings. We've got our sections.
- 10:08And then interestingly, there's
- 10:09different options within those sections
- 10:11as well. So, different options in terms
- 10:13of the look and feel. And then we've got
- 10:15our FFN information. So, this is um
- 10:18materials, loose fittings and fixtures.
- 10:20You've got a series of images, um what
- 10:22the items are, the quantities, color,
- 10:24size, um lead times, and status. Then
- 10:27we've got more detailed drawings like
- 10:28our Milbert drawing, so the kitchen
- 10:30drawing that I showed you earlier. Then
- 10:31we've got an indication of the different
- 10:33materiality of different elements. And
- 10:35then we've got a a rear cover sheet. So,
- 10:37that's obviously all living within
- 10:38rayon. So the same tool that you're
- 10:39doing your drawings in, you're doing
- 10:41your presentation in. So I'm going to
- 10:43show you how you put something like that
- 10:44together. Okay. So starting fresh, we
- 10:47can go back into our paper canvas. So
- 10:49I've cleared that out and I'm going to
- 10:51create a page. We're going to set that
- 10:53at an A3. So you can decide on what size
- 10:55um presentation you want to have. So I'm
- 10:57going to go for A3 and I'm going to
- 10:59start with the cover sheet. Import an
- 11:02image. So I've just got a series of
- 11:04images on my desktop
- 11:07and I can very easily import an image as
- 11:10my cover. Can set a title. So duplex.
- 11:15I can change the font. I can change the
- 11:18size. And I can save that as a style. So
- 11:21we can call that title. Obviously if I
- 11:23change the text box size that will
- 11:26change.
- 11:27And then I could create a subheading um
- 11:30style. So I can detach that style. I can
- 11:33create a new one and call that sub
- 11:35heading and say actually that's half the
- 11:38size. For example,
- 11:42and that can obviously snap two
- 11:44different elements if we wanted to. And
- 11:46then you can see just as an example, if
- 11:48I wanted to change that style, I would
- 11:50just pick a style, click on the one I
- 11:52wanted, and I could match that. And
- 11:53that's the really helpful thing about
- 11:54setting up styles is that you can have
- 11:56that consistency throughout your
- 11:58project. Okay, so what about the next
- 11:59page? the precedent image page and the
- 12:01legend. So I could add a new page. So
- 12:05again, I could go to layer. I could go
- 12:08to page. I could set that as an A3.
- 12:11You'll see there's little numberings up
- 12:12here. So page one, page two. Again, I
- 12:15could move over my title. I could move
- 12:17over my subheading. Actually turn that
- 12:19into a legend. So 01 precedent images.
- 12:23O2 is floor plans. 03 is electrical
- 12:28layout. Four is sections and 05 is E and
- 12:3406 is kitchen. Could align that just
- 12:38like there title like that. And then
- 12:41again I can import images. So I can go
- 12:43to import. I can go to image and I could
- 12:45import some of these images as
- 12:48precedent. I can obviously scale them as
- 12:50well. The other thing you can do is
- 12:51obviously layer them up. So if you right
- 12:53click on there you've got a range. So
- 12:55you can bring things forward, send them
- 12:56back.
- 13:00Another aspect I just want to highlight
- 13:01is the remove background tool. So
- 13:04sometimes you'll find that maybe you
- 13:06don't want the background shown within
- 13:08your image and Rayon allows for that. So
- 13:10if you just go into edit image, I can
- 13:12upscale an image. So say you'd found an
- 13:14image, but you could only find a
- 13:15lowquality version of it. Rayon has some
- 13:17AI tools that will be able to upscale
- 13:20your image. And similarly, it can remove
- 13:22background. So I'm just going to remove
- 13:23the background there. And you'll see
- 13:24there that very quickly it removes the
- 13:26background and then that will sit with a
- 13:28transparent background and it looks
- 13:30really good. You know when you start to
- 13:32layer up these elements some are solid,
- 13:34some without a background. And similarly
- 13:36if I wanted to find a image from a
- 13:38website for example I could open up
- 13:39another tab. I could find 70s style
- 13:44interior for example. Find an image say
- 13:48this one. I could literally just copy
- 13:50that, jump back into Rayon, and then
- 13:52paste. And simple as that comes in as
- 13:55well. All very quick, all very easy.
- 13:57Okay, that's the images, but what about
- 13:59the drawings? So, I can create a new
- 14:02page, and I could add in a title block.
- 14:04So, within the block library, there are
- 14:07a lot of existing um annotations and
- 14:09title blocks. You see that here on the
- 14:11left hand side. So, I could bring in a
- 14:14title block literally by dragging and
- 14:16dropping it. I can scale that down. And
- 14:18then I can start dumping some drawings
- 14:20on there. And to bring drawings in,
- 14:21you're basically going to be looking
- 14:23back at your model canvas. So if you
- 14:25remember, we've got the paper canvas,
- 14:26we've got the model canvas. If I want to
- 14:28add in a new view, so I'll go to here
- 14:30and I'll go to view and I'll say from
- 14:32the model canvas. So from this floor
- 14:34plan canvas, if I command and drag, I
- 14:38can change my crop boundary. And I
- 14:40always think about this as basically a
- 14:42little viewport looking back at my model
- 14:44space. You can set the scale as well. So
- 14:47obviously at the moment the model space
- 14:49is drawn at 1 1:1. Say I want a 1 one to
- 14:51100 floor plan. Drag that view in. And
- 14:54obviously the other interesting thing is
- 14:56because we have layered up our
- 14:58information because we've got the ground
- 14:59floor and the first floor layered on top
- 15:01of each other. I can basically just
- 15:03duplicate that view and then change the
- 15:07layers that are being displayed and that
- 15:09will show the ground floor or the first
- 15:11floor. So you'll see at the moment
- 15:12they're both showing the ground floor,
- 15:14but the one on the right, say for
- 15:15example, I want to show the first floor.
- 15:17I would just turn off the ground floor
- 15:18view and turn on the first floor view.
- 15:20And there we have it. And in that view,
- 15:21for example, I don't want to show the
- 15:22electrical layouts. So I can go into
- 15:24this sub um view and I can turn off the
- 15:27electrical layouts. There we go. And
- 15:29with those, I can bring over my uh
- 15:30subheadings so that they're matching.
- 15:33Can say ground floor plan,
- 15:38change the alignment. And even with
- 15:39those, we could bring in some additional
- 15:41precedent images if we wanted to, you
- 15:43know, that help talk about the style or
- 15:45the quality of the space.
- 15:49Another thing I like to do is to add
- 15:52color fills or texture fills. So, for
- 15:54example, we could add a fill that
- 15:56matches the timber, change the scale,
- 15:58turn off the outline, or we could do it
- 16:01as a color. I can even swatch one of the
- 16:03colors here. And again, you know, if say
- 16:06this piece of furniture, for example, I
- 16:07wanted to remove the background. Again,
- 16:09I can use Rayon's tools to do that. And
- 16:11then I can bring that forward and start
- 16:13to layer up the information, you know,
- 16:15and all of this is within the same
- 16:16drawing tool that I created uh the floor
- 16:18plans. And say now that I wanted to show
- 16:21the lighting layouts, for example. So, I
- 16:23could literally select everything that
- 16:25I've just done, copy it across, and then
- 16:28go back into the layers. So in this one,
- 16:30I could turn off the first floor, have
- 16:32the ground floor, and then show the
- 16:34electrical layout on there. And on this
- 16:36one, I could go in, I could turn off the
- 16:39ground floor, show the first floor, and
- 16:42have the electrical layout showing on
- 16:43there. And I could even add in a new
- 16:46view looking back at the um key plan.
- 16:51Make the key,
- 16:54and we can put that in. All very quick,
- 16:56all very simple because we've layered up
- 16:58that information. And we can even do the
- 17:00same thing for sections for example. So
- 17:02again, I can copy this sheet down. Got
- 17:05those two sort of view ports set up. And
- 17:08then I can just show what's different
- 17:11contained within those boot ports. Make
- 17:13sure I set the scale.
- 17:17Then we've got the section set up. And
- 17:18again, I can just copy those labels
- 17:21across.
- 17:23Section A. The other thing I want to
- 17:25show you is about an FFN schedule. So
- 17:28FFN schedules are about basicallyuling
- 17:30out furnishings, fixtures, things like
- 17:33that. So bits that you might need to buy
- 17:35for your um internal layout. So again, I
- 17:38can create a new page. So we'll set an
- 17:41A3 page. Position that within our set.
- 17:45I'm going to copy a title down from
- 17:49here. an email schedule
- 17:54and then I've got some text. So I'm
- 17:57going to have
- 17:58what should I have? I should have
- 18:00picture. So an image of the item,
- 18:04item number, the quantity,
- 18:10the color or the size, maybe the
- 18:16supplier,
- 18:19the lead time, so how long it takes to
- 18:23come.
- 18:25And then finally, maybe the cost. And
- 18:29then probably something like status. So
- 18:31you know what's the current status of
- 18:33this thing? Has it been ordered? Is it
- 18:35agreed?
- 18:38So those are my headings. Basically
- 18:41I can create a shape that sort of
- 18:43contains those headings. Add a sort of
- 18:48light gray fill to it. Send that to the
- 18:52back. Then I can create a series of um
- 18:56rows. So maybe I'll just change this to
- 18:58a slightly mid gray.
- 19:01Move that down too. Set that out nicely.
- 19:06So I've just got a series of rows for my
- 19:09different items.
- 19:11Maybe add in a slightly lighter color
- 19:14background
- 19:18again. Send that to the back. And I
- 19:21could start adding items in. So you know
- 19:23I could take these from existing
- 19:26pictures that I've contained within here
- 19:29for example. So
- 19:32the lights
- 19:39and again I can just copy these
- 19:42down
- 19:50and then fill that in. And then lastly,
- 19:53I want to show you two more elements of
- 19:54the presentation. So one's the mill work
- 19:56drawing, so the kitchen. Um, and one is
- 19:58our sort of rear cover sheet. So again,
- 20:00I'll just copy a page down. I can add a
- 20:04new view. So from our model canvas, just
- 20:07crop that view down. And I basically
- 20:09want to be able to show the plan and the
- 20:11elevations of the kitchen. So we'll find
- 20:13those in that view. We'll find a scale
- 20:15that sits right. So 1 to 25 probably be
- 20:19a good one. Let's just crop that in
- 20:20slightly. And then we can get the views
- 20:23of the elevation as well. One thing I
- 20:26like to do is add in a guideline, which
- 20:28means that I can align my elevation
- 20:32perfectly with my plan. So I can
- 20:34duplicate that view. I can drag that
- 20:36over and I can make sure that all my
- 20:39drawings are aligning nicely.
- 20:44Now we've got our section and elevations
- 20:47as well. You can see here we've already
- 20:49got the dimensions already within the
- 20:51model space. So that's all showing up
- 20:52perfectly. And with this just to help um
- 20:55you know really clarify the the point
- 20:58about the kitchen I could add in some
- 21:00precedent images. So you know dragging
- 21:02them from the rest of the presentation
- 21:04or even I could crop them. So if I
- 21:06double click on there I can bring in my
- 21:09boundary. So it's kind of acting like a
- 21:11mask and I could basically use it like a
- 21:14material swatch like that. Or even here,
- 21:16for example, I could make a rectangle. I
- 21:20could pick a style to match that
- 21:22flooring. I could drag it down. I might
- 21:24just change the scale.
- 21:28Maybe if I need the same thing this, I
- 21:30can adjust the scale slightly. I can
- 21:32drag in my crop boundary.
- 21:35And then we could just add a few little
- 21:37notes or annotations. So,
- 21:40A1,
- 21:42A2, A3.
- 21:45There we go. And then you could code
- 21:47that on the drawing as well. And just to
- 21:49round the presentation off, we'll have a
- 21:50closing sheet. So I'm basically just
- 21:53going to duplicate the front cover. So I
- 21:56can copy that down. Make sure it's
- 21:58aligned. And then literally just go into
- 21:59the image, press upload, find a
- 22:02different image, and that will replace
- 22:03that within that same boundary. And
- 22:05there we've got our rear cover. So, just
- 22:07jumping back to our original
- 22:08presentation, you can see we've gone
- 22:10through how to create the front cover,
- 22:11the mood board with the legend, those
- 22:14floor plans, which were layered up with
- 22:15those precedent images, the lighting
- 22:18layout, the sections, the FFN schedule,
- 22:21so all of those rows and columns, um the
- 22:23mill work drawings, so those kitchen
- 22:24drawings, and then that rear cover, so a
- 22:27complete presentation, all within Rayon.
- 22:29Now that I've completed my sheets, I'm
- 22:31ready to export them for review from
- 22:33collaborators and clients. Rayon makes
- 22:35it so easy to share your work to get
- 22:37input from others and present them
- 22:39seamlessly all within the browser. Let's
- 22:41get started. So with the presentation
- 22:43finalized, there's a few things that I
- 22:45can do with it. So let's go into share.
- 22:47So I could invite a colleague for
- 22:49example to review it. So I'm just going
- 22:51to send this to myself. Set the person
- 22:54as a viewer and that means that they can
- 22:56view it but they can't change anything.
- 22:58So in my business email I'll see that a
- 23:00um a notification has appeared. So Chris
- 23:03has shared the model with you. I'm going
- 23:05to click into this, open it with a
- 23:06different browser, so the different side
- 23:08of me can review it. And within that
- 23:11presentation, I can now view it. I can
- 23:13click on things, but I can't move them
- 23:15or change them. But I could measure
- 23:17things or um judge the square meterage.
- 23:19The most important thing I can do is add
- 23:21a comment. So, say you were sharing with
- 23:22a colleague or your boss, for example,
- 23:24and they were reviewing the kitchen and
- 23:26I could add a comment like, "Uh, the
- 23:30client has asked for a double sink. Can
- 23:35we accommodate
- 23:39question mark?" And then I could even
- 23:42add a little sketch to say push this
- 23:44out. And the double sync goes in here.
- 23:48Click done. And you'll see that that now
- 23:50lives in the comments. And now back in
- 23:52my original browser, I can see the
- 23:54comments tab. And I can now see these
- 23:56comments. And then you'll see where they
- 23:57appear, what they're referring to, and
- 23:59then that markup as well. And obviously
- 24:01I can respond to it. So I can add a
- 24:03reaction. I'll let you choose what
- 24:05reaction you want to make. Or I can
- 24:06respond to it. So yes, that should be
- 24:10possible. I will update and resend.
- 24:14Reply. And obviously that then keeps a
- 24:16feed and that sort of back and forth
- 24:19transparent. And once you get any design
- 24:20items resolved, you can then share the
- 24:22presentation. So the other really
- 24:24helpful element of uh rayon is about
- 24:26sharing presentations. Rather than
- 24:28having to endlessly PDF things, update
- 24:31them, send um you know Google Drive or
- 24:34Dropbox links to places. We can just
- 24:36send the presentation as it is. So we
- 24:38just click on update presentation and we
- 24:41can open that link. Takes a second.
- 24:45And you will see there we've got our
- 24:47presentation just like a little
- 24:49slideshow. All coming in perfectly. Line
- 24:51weight's looking good. All the images
- 24:52loaded up. There we go. Obviously, you
- 24:54can zoom in, zoom out, and go from
- 24:56there. And the really, really helpful
- 24:57thing is that if I then make any
- 25:00changes, I can just update that link.
- 25:02You could also copy that into an email
- 25:04and just send it to your client. And
- 25:06then finally, you can export um as a
- 25:08PDF. So, say you wanted to print the
- 25:10document. So, we can go over to um
- 25:12export. We could export them as images
- 25:14as PDF files even as a rayon file if we
- 25:17wanted to. So we could select which
- 25:19pages we'll select the resolution. Um we
- 25:23can call it presentation. Do export
- 25:27again. Takes a second. I'll find
- 25:29somewhere on my desktop to put it. And
- 25:30then you can see from my desktop I can
- 25:32just open up the PDF. And there it is.
- 25:36So again we've got our perfectly
- 25:37formatted presentation. All our pages,
- 25:40all our drawings, our FFN schedule, and
- 25:42our rear cover. All looking good, ready
- 25:44to present or ready to print. And that's
- 25:46all from within Rayon, all within your
- 25:48browser from your model canvas and your
- 25:50paper canvas. Great work following
- 25:52along. You've just learned how to
- 25:54transform technical drawings like floor
- 25:56plan, sections, and milwork drawings
- 25:58into a complete client ready
- 25:59presentation with Rayon. And now you
- 26:01know how to take those raw drawings and
- 26:03elevate them with a cover sheet, legend,
- 26:06mood board, and FFN sheet. turning
- 26:08technical details into a stunning
- 26:10presentation that will win client buyin
- 26:12and showcases your ideas professionally.
- 26:15Remember, Rayon lets you create and
- 26:17present everything in one place, so you
- 26:19can spend less time switching tools and
- 26:21more time designing. If you want to put
