How to Turn Any Audience Into Money — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Hi Alex, I have almost 150K subscribers
- 0:02here on YouTube, but I'm struggling to
- 0:03make an income. Brands don't pay more
- 0:05than $300 for sponsored videos and I
- 0:06don't make enough from AdSense alone.
- 0:08I'm going to guess that you built an
- 0:11audience around entertainment, not
- 0:12education
- 0:13because educators always make more per
- 0:15follower, like not even close.
- 0:18Um
- 0:18and so
- 0:21you need to Basically, it's like the
- 0:23fact that you built 150K subs
- 0:26might be a good thing, might not be a
- 0:27good thing, I don't know.
- 0:29Um
- 0:32You basically don't have a valuable
- 0:33enough asset. Right? So, it's like what
- 0:36audience instead of saying like I have
- 0:37subscribers here on YouTube, it's like
- 0:38what audience did you compile together
- 0:40and what products and services do they
- 0:42spend the most money on? And then you
- 0:44need to go sell those products and
- 0:46services. So, either you or you need to
- 0:47go get advertisers.
- 0:49Um and if they're not willing to spend
- 0:50more than $300 for sponsored video,
- 0:52here's the thing, that means they're not
- 0:53making more than that. Because if they
- 0:54make that cuz again, people who who just
- 0:56do sponsorships don't understand like
- 0:58the whole point of a sponsorship is that
- 0:59the person pays you money makes more
- 1:00money. That's the point. That's why they
- 1:01pay you. And so, you need to do
- 1:03everything you can to learn how to sell,
- 1:04learn how to market, learn how to
- 1:05advertise, to figure out how you can
- 1:06really sell your audience on the thing.
- 1:08If you are pure entertainment, it's much
- 1:11harder and they're typically just like
- 1:12paying for reach and impressions and
- 1:14you're going to be you're going to earn
- 1:15the least amount of dollars per kind of
- 1:17impression compared to somebody who has
- 1:19super high affinity and trust and
- 1:21influence in a specific niche and an
- 1:23audience that has already demonstrated
- 1:25that they're interested in this kind of
- 1:26stuff and learning it or
- 1:29your advice is trusted so you can make
- 1:31you can make recommendations or
- 1:32endorsements on products
- 1:33that they would actually believe. So, um
- 1:36at the end of the day, you got to make
- 1:37your audience more valuable, which you
- 1:38can either prove by selling your own
- 1:41or make sure that they make more money.
- 1:43And if neither of those things happen,
- 1:44the audience is not valuable, which
- 1:45means you can go build an audience that
- 1:46is. If you like this video and you're a
- 1:48business owner who wants to break
- 1:48through your current revenue ceiling, I
- 1:50distilled every lesson from scaling 10
- 1:52businesses past 10 million and three
- 1:53businesses past 100 million into a
- 1:55completely free scaling road map that
- 1:57I've used to go from zero to one, zero
- 1:58to 10, and zero to 100 plus. And so you

- 2:02Again, absolutely free, and since your
