  1. 0:00I'm Mikey Seller, and this is the Seven-Figure  Standard podcast. My co-host needs no introduction
  2. 0:04to the 100,000 plus people he has coached. But  if you're new here: Arash Vasugi, president of
  3. 0:10Voss Coaching Co, USA Today best-selling author,  and a man who went from $150,000 in debt to a
  4. 0:17seven-figure income in under 2 years almost two  decades ago, and now an eight-figure business
  5. 0:21owner and. Everything that he teaches, he has  lived first. So, let's get right into it. Arash,
  6. 0:27this one is not going to be what people want to  hear, or maybe it is depending on which side of
  7. 0:30this they're on. It gets worse before it gets  better, so don't quit. You know, there's so
  8. 0:35many people who they're finally going all in.  They're finally doing all the things. They've
  9. 0:40changed their mindset. They're doing all these  things, and they're noticing that the results are
  10. 0:44feel like they're going backwards. There's this  frustration point, this obstacle in their way,
  11. 0:49and they're thinking, "Okay, this doesn't work for  me. I should just quit." What would you tell them?
  12. 0:53I would tell them they're on the right track. The  results always start going backwards before they
  13. 1:00get better. But, here's why, and this is what  most people are unaware of. The current results
  14. 1:06are based on 3 months ago, 6 weeks ago, 6 months  ago. They're not based on when they went all in.
  15. 1:13They're not going to see that cuz there's a delay.  There's a gestation period before we start seeing
  16. 1:20the results, and that is the biggest trap why  most people quit. And if you look at it, we're
  17. 1:27marketed all all the time, you know, with "Lose  3 in in 7 days or your money back," right? So,
  18. 1:35all these things are telling you it happens right  away. Like, I want them to happen right away.
  19. 1:41Trust me. Like, I'm the most patient impatient  person you'll ever meet. Like, I want results
  20. 1:45right away. But, you have to understand there is  a process that you have to do enough repetition
  21. 1:54before the results are going to come. But, here's  the beautiful part. When the results come, they're
  22. 1:59going to keep coming in a huge way. This is so  good. Okay, you call this the messy middle. Right?
  23. 2:07What Define the messy middle for us and then I'll  get to my question. You know, it's really a term
  24. 2:12that I got from Robin Sharma cuz he said um in  the beginning it's hard, in the middle it's messy,
  25. 2:19at the end it's absolutely amazing. And there's  nothing more accurate. The messy middle is where
  26. 2:26your foundation is built. In the beginning, it's  not built cuz in the beginning it's exciting. You
  27. 2:31get emotionally involved with the idea of change  or of a new goal and you're like super fired up,
  28. 2:38but then you don't see the results. This is  where the winners are built. These are where
  29. 2:42the true top 1%of achievers understand where  delayed gratification comes in. Where you're
  30. 2:51not seeing the results, but you keep persisting,  you keep persisting, you keep persisting. And once
  31. 2:55you've passed that messy middle, everything starts  flowing in your favor. What's happening under the
  32. 3:01surface that someone may not realize whenever  they feel like they're in this tension point,
  33. 3:06when they feel like the results are going  backwards, what's really happening? Your
  34. 3:10subconscious mind is rewiring. It is constantly  rewiring, but until it is completely rewired,
  35. 3:17you are not going to see the results. Now, what  happens is most people don't understand it. We
  36. 3:23have the most amazing complex system that we all  have. It's our central nervous system. And until
  37. 3:31it feels safe, it's not going to bring the result.  It will create subconscious barriers, blocks. All
  38. 3:38of the sudden you're doing all these great things  and then you start having clients who are having
  39. 3:43problems or you lose clients. But be Just trust  the process because that messy middle is where
  40. 3:50everything is being built. I feel like this is  one of those things where it's really easy on the
  41. 3:56other side of it to say, "Oh, it's just the messy  middle. Oh, yeah, your results are going to go
  42. 3:59backwards before they go forwards. Oh, yeah, trust  the process." but when you're in the dip of it,
  43. 4:04when you're in that messy middle and when things  don't feel good and you feel like you're going
  44. 4:09backwards, what you want to do is pivot. You  want to go a different direction. You want to
  45. 4:12get out. And so, how do you talk to the person  who's right in the middle of it thinking like,
  46. 4:17I don't know if I can keep going. This it feels  like everything's telling me this is a sign. Do
  47. 4:23something else. Well, number one, I would tell  them the messy middle sucks. Like nobody likes it.
  48. 4:29But it's essential. So, you have to be willing to  pay the price. The price of freedom is discipline.
  49. 4:37The price of freedom is overcoming circumstances.  The price of freedom is building mental toughness.
  50. 4:44Most people are not mentally tough. That's why  they give up at the first sign of adversity. So,
  51. 4:51that's the price, but I can show them through  experience and I always tell them trust my
  52. 4:56experience cuz you don't know how many clients  I have told you are in the middle of a quantum
  53. 5:01leap right now and they'll be like, what do  you see? I don't see anything. I say because
  54. 5:06you'll always know that a quantum leap is coming  based on your emotional state. Now, let's remind
  55. 5:12ourselves what a quantum leap is. A quantum leap  is jumping levels. It's not incremental results.
  56. 5:18It's literally going up a staircase. You're going  from stair one to stair five, stair five to stair
  57. 5:2315. So, it's a manipulation of energy. But this is  where understanding is what creates winning. See,
  58. 5:32everybody wants to win, but they don't want to put  in the price. Like you and I are paying the price
  59. 5:38every day. And I'll tell people you if you want  to win, you have to deserve it. So, you have to go
  60. 5:43through that messy middle. Now, some people don't  want to go through it. That's fine. You they don't
  61. 5:48have to go through it. They can just settle and  they could live a very mediocre life. I'm thinking
  62. 5:54of my daughter right now. She plays soccer. She  plays a couple sports, but she plays soccer. It
  63. 5:59is like 110° in Texas right now. It is not fun  to live in Texas and play an outdoor sport. And
  64. 6:04we'll I'll be like, "Okay, it's time to go to  practice." And she's like, "Oh, no. I don't want
  65. 6:08to I actually when I said I wanted to play soccer,  I really just wanted to play in the games. I don't
  66. 6:12feel like practicing. I don't want to do this."  And it's funny because we look at that as adults
  67. 6:17looking at a kid and we think, "No, that's the  price you have to pay. Like if you want to play,
  68. 6:20you have to practice." Well, as adults, we have  these goals and we see people ahead of us who may
  69. 6:25have achieved the goal, but what we don't see is  the messy middle. They went through all the same
  70. 6:30obstacles that we're going through, too, because  you don't get the goal without paying the price,
  71. 6:33without the obstacle, without whatever it is.  But if we don't see it, we don't believe it.
  72. 6:38That's why your environment is so so important.  Having people who are further ahead, having
  73. 6:44great mentors who can show you the way because  they have they've already experienced it. So,
  74. 6:49we everything in life, there's no greater mentor  in life than life itself. Like life has been my
  75. 6:57greatest teacher. And I've had enormous, like the  best mentors in the world. Like I would take them
  76. 7:02against anyone's mentors. And but the greatest  mentor is experience. So, no matter what you
  77. 7:10and I tell our kids, they have to experience it  before they're going to understand it. Um but we
  78. 7:15can get people through the messy middle by getting  them to tell them there is a messy middle. There
  79. 7:21is no goal that I've ever achieved that didn't  have a messy middle. There is nothing. There
  80. 7:27is nothing of great significance if it's easy.  If it's a little easy, there's a little good.
  81. 7:33If there if it's really hard, if someone's going  through the messy middle right now, they're back
  82. 7:39against is against the wall. No, Rush, I need  results. I'm telling them that means so much
  83. 7:44good is going to come. Like keep persisting. It  doesn't mean the messy middle has to be a year.
  84. 7:49The messy middle could be another 2 days. But  what if you quit? See, we got to stop quitting.
  85. 7:55And we've got to stop demonizing losing. Losing  is a part of winning. You have to be willing to
  86. 8:01lose if you're willing to win. You know what's so  great, too, what you just said, let people know
  87. 8:07there is a messy middle. The messy middle sucks.  We've all been through it."Once and they feel a
  88. 8:12little bit better. But once they get to the other  side once, then they're going to set a new goal
  89. 8:16and they're going to get to the messy middle again  and then you have this confidence knowing,"Oh,
  90. 8:19I've been here before. I know I can get through  this. I know that a quantum leap is on the
  91. 8:23other side." and you you approach it a little bit  differently. I'll tell you what I'm thinking right
  92. 8:28now. And this is just honest truth. Most people  won't go through the messy middle. They quit. So,
  93. 8:35I want everyone to commit to themselves. You never  give up. You never quit. Because most people will
  94. 8:41not go through the messy middle. They think it's  not working. They'll try another strategy. See,
  95. 8:48you can never give up and never quit. Look at  anything you've achieved. I want everybody to
  96. 8:51think of something extraordinary they've achieved.  They never quit. That is the deal. You can never
  97. 8:58quit. See, I think one of the biggest cop-outs  we hear is,"Well, it was a sign from the universe
  98. 9:04that that wasn't for me." I hate when people  say that. Mhm. Because they never say it when
  99. 9:10it's actually a sign leading them to something  better. It's always a sign that they shouldn't be
  100. 9:14going after what they really want or a sign that  they should stop doing something that is really
  101. 9:17good. This goes to mental toughness. Remember,  winners never quit, quitters never win. You know,
  102. 9:23but we we've got to start holding people we care  about to our higher standard. There's too many yes
  103. 9:30people. You know, I don't want any yes people in  my life. I want people to challenge my beliefs.
  104. 9:35I want them to say,"Well, why are you doing this?  Like, what are you seeing that I'm not seeing? Cuz
  105. 9:41this is what I see." You know, because we want  to create our inner circle with people who are
  106. 9:47not just making us comfortable, who are not just  saying, "Great job. Way to go."Why not challenge
  107. 9:52and say,"Look, I see so much good in you. Just  keep stretching."Cuz when we make a habit of
  108. 9:57stretching, you never go back to the original  state. But you don't stretch in the beginning. You
  109. 10:03stretch You don't stretch at the end. You stretch  in the messy middle. That's when you get in that
  110. 10:09creative side of your personality because every  time you and I are dissatisfied. It's not the
  111. 10:16physical side of us that is dissatisfied. It's  a spiritual side where your spiritual side of
  112. 10:21your personality, your soul is saying,"Come on,  there's more for us to do. Keep going." Arash,
  113. 10:26if there's a messy middle, that must mean that  there's phases of transformation or phases of goal
  114. 10:31creation. What are the phases? There's only one  phase to me. Okay. It's the end. You got to live
  115. 10:38from the end. There's only one phase. And that's  why people stay and quit in the messy middle cuz
  116. 10:43they're never living from the end. You have to  live like you've already achieved it. You have
  117. 10:48to start operating your day if it was impossible  to fail. So, when you're in the messy middle,
  118. 10:54you're not operating from the messy middle. You're  still operating from the goal. You're Is it like
  119. 10:58the messy middle doesn't exist or you feel the  resistance, you're just not giving in? Look,
  120. 11:03I am just like anybody else. I don't like  the messy middle. I want results like it
  121. 11:08was yesterday. But what I will tell you is if  I'm not living as the goal is already achieved,
  122. 11:15I'm not one with the goal. So, I'm going  to be in the messy middle a lot longer. So,
  123. 11:19let's let's look at it a different perspective.  How do you not quit when you're in the messy
  124. 11:25middle, you don't see results? Because you got  to follow the rules. There's rules to winning,
  125. 11:30there's rules to success, and the number one rule  is the most prepared person always wins. Prepare
  126. 11:37preparation happens when nobody is watching you.  When the results are not changing. But you don't
  127. 11:44give up. You're still doing your study. You're  still working with the right mentor. You're still
  128. 11:49getting the right direction, and you're not giving  up because I don't know when the results going to
  129. 11:53happen. I'd be lying to everybody if I said I know  it's going to take 72 days. I don't know. I've
  130. 11:59created results very quickly. I've created results  that take 2 years. So, the result is going to take
  131. 12:06as long as it takes, but the time is going to pass  anyway. But stop giving in. Okay, let's talk about
  132. 12:12that and let's dig in because you said,"I don't  know if it's going to take 72 days."And we talk
  133. 12:16about a gestation period. Well, the difference  between what we're doing and a farmer is a farmer
  134. 12:21knows,"Okay, I'm planting wheat."Or I'm planting  an orange tree or whatever it is that a farmer's
  135. 12:25planting, they know the gestation period. They  know how many days it's going to take and exactly
  136. 12:29what's going to sprout out of the ground. We're  saying,"Okay, there's a gestation period."But I
  137. 12:33don't know how long it's going to take. I don't  know exactly what it's going to look like. There's
  138. 12:37a lot of unknowns. So, how do you hold on to that?  You have to operate with faith. You have to see
  139. 12:43what you want. See, that's a mistake people  make. They're not in possession of what they
  140. 12:48want. They're in possession of what's missing.  They're in possession of chasing. You have to be
  141. 12:54in possession of what you want, but this doesn't  work without three things. It doesn't work without
  142. 12:59faith. It doesn't work without discipline.  And it does not work without persistence. So,
  143. 13:06none of this works. And now, you and I don't  know. But when we go, let's say you and I went
  144. 13:12to a steakhouse and we ordered steak, okay? Like  we know the steak is going to come. We don't know
  145. 13:18how it's being cooked. We ask them to cook it a  certain way, but we don't know, but we know it's
  146. 13:22going to come. If we have that attitude towards  our dreams, it will come faster. When our dreams
  147. 13:28come the fastest, when they manifest into tangible  physical results, is when we don't give a [ __ ]
  148. 13:34Think about a time you're thinking of somebody.  All of the sudden they text you or call you. Well,
  149. 13:40you didn't really care. You're like,"Oh, I  was just thinking about them, right?"Well,
  150. 13:43you're on the frequency. You're on the same  frequency. So, it's the same thing. If you
  151. 13:47want your goals to show up into your physical  life faster, stop giving a [ __ ] That's what
  152. 13:53I always say,"Everything works out for me."  You know? But people will be like, "Well,
  153. 13:58what do you mean don't give a [ __ ]I mean don't  give a [ __ ] Like it's going to come. The only
  154. 14:02way it's not going to come is if you give up on  it. And I will tell you most people give up. So,
  155. 14:07is that a blind faith or is that something more  tangible? Well, it's more than just blind faith.
  156. 14:12It's understanding. But most people don't know  what faith means. Faith is an attitude. It is
  157. 14:17a state just like anything else. So it's  a body of beliefs. When you believe it,
  158. 14:22it's going to come. You're like,"What do you mean  when I believe?"You have to believe your way into
  159. 14:26it. But faith is seeing what you want, believing  in the incredible. What's incredible? Whatever
  160. 14:31I give my subconscious mind and my subconscious  mind is going to go out and get once it becomes
  161. 14:35the dominant idea in my subconscious mind, the  dominant habit. That's all it does. See, your
  162. 14:41subconscious mind right now, every single person  listening, watching us right now, it is going out
  163. 14:47and getting you what matters most to you. Now,  it doesn't know what's good or what's bad. What
  164. 14:53matters most is what you're putting most of your  attention on. So if you keep telling yourself,
  165. 14:58"God, this is hard,"I promise you it's going to  keep making it hard. And you're going to receive,
  166. 15:04this is what faith is, believing in the  incredible, and then you're going to receive
  167. 15:09what the masses call miracles where you call this  is just normal. This is just my standard. This
  168. 15:13is who I am. Everything always works out for me.  Yeah. I It's You know, I love talking about faith,
  169. 15:20especially with you. And I have faith in God. At  mass every week they say the mystery of faith. And
  170. 15:25I love that phrase because there is a mystery  to it. But I think a lot of people have ease
  171. 15:30having faith in something outside of themselves,  but then when it comes to their own abilities,
  172. 15:35their own goal, something they're creating,  there's friction to their faith. Well,
  173. 15:40cuz they don't have faith. They say they have  faith. Faith is not a word, it's an action. So
  174. 15:46that's the difference. I talk to a lot of people  who say,"I have great faith."And adversity comes,
  175. 15:52all of a sudden their faith is shattered. That's  not faith. You know, faith is never giving in,
  176. 15:58but never being attached. Like you know that you  know. When you know something, that is faith.
  177. 16:04So we have to operate knowing that we know that  that's going to happen. The messy middle is part
  178. 16:10of how we grow. Like our goals are for us to grow,  not for us to get. And people are like,"Oh my god,
  179. 16:16I got this. I got this."But who did you become?  That's the benefit. So whenever you're setting
  180. 16:21a goal, the most two important questions you  you should ask is who do I have to become and
  181. 16:28what decisions do I have to make? Those are the  two most important questions. Hey, real quick.
  182. 16:34One of the most powerful forces in personal and  professional growth is proximity. When you spend
  183. 16:39time around people who think differently, operate  at a higher level, and see opportunities you may
  184. 16:45not realize or recognize, your perspective begins  to change. This shift in perspective often leads
  185. 16:51to better decisions, higher standards, and much  faster progress. In fact, I call this osmosis.
  186. 16:58At Voss Coaching Co, we work with individuals who  are ready to step into that kind of environment.
  187. 17:03Our focus is helping high achievers and high  performers expand their identity and create
  188. 17:08results that reflect their real potential. So if  you've been listening to the podcast and you're
  189. 17:13serious about working more closely with Arash and  getting his direct mentorship, send us an email
  190. 17:19[email protected]. Introduce yourself, let  us know a little bit about you and your goals, and
  191. 17:24our team will be in touch. Again, that email is  [email protected]. All right, right back to
  192. 17:29the episode. Over the last almost 20 years or 20  years, when you see someone hit the messy middle,
  193. 17:35maybe they're hitting it for the first time,  maybe maybe not, maybe it's several times in that
  194. 17:39they've hit the messy middle. What do they What  do most people do? They quit. They complain. They
  195. 17:44say this doesn't work. And it's not true. They  They're not willing to stretch. They're wanting to
  196. 17:50go back into comfort cuz your old self is dying to  bring you back. It is dying to bring you back. And
  197. 17:55here's the danger. Even when you get out of the  messy middle, a lot of people cuz they're willing
  198. 18:01themselves out of it, they're exhausted. So the  thing they achieve, they're going to go back right
  199. 18:06away. I mean, I want everyone to think about this.  How many times have you gotten an extraordinary
  200. 18:11result? Your result spiked and then you went  back, and then it was so frustrating. Well,
  201. 18:17the reason you never changed the picture you have  of yourself. You never changed at the identity
  202. 18:23level. And so, you willed yourself, you chased,  you manipulated, and then you were exhausted,
  203. 18:30and then 3 months later you're back at where your  normal set point is. Okay, so you set a goal. And
  204. 18:36you might have an idea of how you're going to  achieve it. You might say, "Okay, like I think
  205. 18:39this strategy or that strategy is going to be the  one that works." You you implement the strategy,
  206. 18:45you're working, you hit that messy middle, your  results are going backwards. How do you know
  207. 18:48when it's time to switch strategies,  not necessarily give up on the goal,
  208. 18:52but abandon a strategy that's clearly not creating  results? Strategy's never the issue. Your beliefs
  209. 18:58are the issue. All of a sudden, you have somebody  who grows into a different version of themselves,
  210. 19:05and all of a sudden they do one strategy and it  hits. Why? Strategy's not the problem. That's
  211. 19:10what people are doing. They're strate- They're  chasing strategies. They're not chasing who they
  212. 19:14have to become. Strategy is 5%of the game. 95%is  your mindset, your attitude towards the goal,
  213. 19:22your attitude towards what's possible. See, a lot  of people are going from one strategy to the next.
  214. 19:28Isn't it amazing that when they finally hit it,  it's the easiest strategy that scaled the most?
  215. 19:35Strategy is what people have to stop chasing.  They got to start transforming who they are. So,
  216. 19:40when someone's in the messy middle, what do they  actually do? They keep Not think, do. They keep
  217. 19:46doing the most important actions every day. Have  First of all, it has to think in a certain way.
  218. 19:52They have to think like they've already had it.  If you already had what you wanted, how would you
  219. 19:56think? I want you to think of your goal. You  have it in your mind? Yeah. So, how does that
  220. 20:02version of Mikey think? Accurately. Okay. Tell  everyone what accurately means. Accurately means
  221. 20:09prosperously and from the truth. Okay, what is  the truth? My goal achieved. Yes. So, you have to
  222. 20:16look First thing is you got to get your thinking  aligned, okay? Now, this is the version of Mikey
  223. 20:22that's already achieved her goal. How would that  version of Mikey feel? Amazing. Abundant. Okay.
  224. 20:29So, Mikey's got to feel that way every day. And  then, what type of actions compared Mikey today
  225. 20:36to Mikey who's achieved that goal? What type of  actions does she take? I honestly don't think it's
  226. 20:42these giant actions. It's doing the actions in  a bigger like not bigger more certain way. Okay,
  227. 20:51so you're doing action with swagger. Yes. You're  doing action with certainty. You're doing action
  228. 20:56with confidence. That's a much different action.  So, even in your mind you're like,"It's not that
  229. 21:00different."But it's hugely different. Yeah, but  I think we I think I what I was trying to say is
  230. 21:04that I think a lot of times we think,"Oh, I have  to do this big grand thing."I'm not saying it
  231. 21:08has to be this big grand complicated thing.  It just has to be those things differently.
  232. 21:13Repeated. Every time you repeat that action every  day, you're getting better at that action. So,
  233. 21:18it's a completely different action. Compounding.  Yes. So, it's actually a completely Those three
  234. 21:24aligned are a completely different version of  Mikey today. So, then you go into Mikey future.
  235. 21:31How How is that version? Like if she looked back 6  months and says,"What did I do differently?"You'd
  236. 21:38be like,"Oh my god, I I was automatically  thinking in a certain way. It wasn't even
  237. 21:41a question. When adversity hit, I just raised  my attitude. It was automatic."How does that
  238. 21:46version of Mikey start feeling? When that messy  middle came, it didn't it didn't She didn't lose
  239. 21:51any enthusiasm. She got into creativity. She got  into"I've got to be bolder."And then the actions
  240. 21:57will compound naturally from the first two. That's  how you get out of the messy middle. But this is
  241. 22:02the challenge. Mikey today could be thinking  like let's say Mikey doesn't know me. Okay,
  242. 22:10Mikey today could be thinking, "It's not  working." But if Mikey today is thinking
  243. 22:15about Mikey 6 months from now, say,"God, you  know how proud I'm going to be? Just keep
  244. 22:20going. Keep going. Keep going."We have to start  thinking this way. Instead of thinking from the
  245. 22:26circumstance cuz that this is what most people  get stuck in. They get stuck in the circumstance,
  246. 22:32so they think from the circumstance. So then they  keep repeating what created those circumstances,
  247. 22:37and we can't overcome a a challenge or a problem  with the same mind that created. So I'm asking
  248. 22:45you, you don't know me, I'm asking you go to Mikey  6 months from now, how would she think? See, this
  249. 22:52is how we have to train ourselves. You wouldn't  care about the adversity, you'd know. And if you
  250. 22:58deconstructed, that's how you get out of the messy  middle. Mhm. All right. Arash, you have not always
  251. 23:04had rosy circumstances and wonderful, you know,  you're not teaching this from a place of oh, my
  252. 23:11results have always been fantastic. You have had  to overcome adversity several times. The biggest
  253. 23:16part of your story that we tell often is when you  were $150,000 in debt, you had an eviction notice,
  254. 23:20you lost your job. That's not great circumstances.  But in 20 years, have you ever seen a client whose
  255. 23:26circumstances made you think like I would quit.  Those are bad. Or do you always see a way through,
  256. 23:32a way out? It's a good question. No, I  never think they should quit. You know,
  257. 23:38because every circumstance is based on the past,  it's not based on the future. We got to understand
  258. 23:44our greatest liars are our eyes and ears. Our  eyes are telling us from the past. Our ears are
  259. 23:52telling us what we're hearing from people from the  past. So I've never thought of anybody that they
  260. 23:58couldn't do it. They couldn't do better. Now, I  don't sometimes it'll take people a lot longer,
  261. 24:03depending on their commitment, depending on  their self-esteem. So we have to build that up.
  262. 24:07So everything has to start at the foundation.  The foundation is getting people to commit.
  263. 24:13Nothing happens until I commit. So I've had people  losing in the biggest way. When you say commit,
  264. 24:18you mean make a decision? Yeah, make a decision.  Make a definite decision. And I tell them it's
  265. 24:23not going to change overnight, but give me 90  days, you're going to start creating momentum.
  266. 24:27So it was an interesting question cuz I've I've  thought about it. I've never thought about anybody
  267. 24:33that I've coached like they have no chance.  Right. Not one time. Everybody has a chance.
  268. 24:38Everyone has the same potential. Now, it might be  directed at a different skill set or a different
  269. 24:45vocation. But the potential is not our problem.  Capability is not our problem. Changing is our
  270. 24:51problem. We have to have a different attitude  towards changing. I hate when people say change
  271. 24:56is hard. No, it's not. It's as hard or as easy as  you make it. Why would you say it's hard? Staying
  272. 25:01the same is hard. It's miserable. Like every goal,  like right now like it's not like I'm not going
  273. 25:07through adversity. I always go through adversity.  Like every day I have some form of adversity. It's
  274. 25:12just my mind is so much stronger. So, I don't look  at it as adversity. Because if I'm going through
  275. 25:19some adversity right now, that means something  good is on the other end. See, adversity is not
  276. 25:23there to stop us. It's there to prepare us  for the greatness we're about to experience,
  277. 25:28but that's the messy middle. Okay, there's  this saying we both love, do hard better. Yeah.
  278. 25:34Explain what that means. When you have hard things  nail it. Like go after it. Attack it. You know,
  279. 25:40don't give in to it. Don't say it's hard. You  know, like I was telling you um Alex Hormozi
  280. 25:45said this and I loved it. He said building a  business is hard. Stop complaining about it.
  281. 25:51And I'm always telling our clients do hard better.  Don't give in to hard. People are like,"God,
  282. 25:56that made me uncomfortable."Go do it. Okay,  look how good you're going to feel afterwards.
  283. 26:00The growth is in overcoming the hard things.  All right, one thing. Someone's in the messy
  284. 26:06middle right now. What's your advice? Don't quit.  Keep going. Do not give in. You have to trust me
  285. 26:13on this. I've been doing this for two decades. My  experience, I will tell you, you will win in the
  286. 26:18biggest way. But the moment you quit, you're  starting over. All right, thanks Sarosh. Take
