How to Set Up Your Skool Classroom for Success — Transcript

3. 0:03community. So, right here on the screen,
4. 0:05this is what you'll have at some point
5. 0:07with your school. And if you want to
6. 0:09launch your school, you can just
7. 0:11literally go over to school.com
8. 0:14/make once. And if you go right here,
9. 0:17you can just click this and launch your
10. 0:19school. And then you'll get to a place
11. 0:21where you can basically set up your
12. 0:23school. So, if you click this,
13. 0:26it'll just say launch your school. It'll
14. 0:28say that you were invited by Mike
15. 0:30Gowans. I get a little bit of credit for
16. 0:31that. Thank you. And then you just click
17. 0:34create your community. And then you're
18. 0:36going to sign up, okay? And then once
19. 0:38you sign up, you're going to be building
20. 0:40out something like this, which we're
21. 0:42going to cover here in just a moment.
22. 0:44And what you'll do next is you'll just
23. 0:45pick a simple name for your school. Let
24. 0:47me give you an example here. So, this
25. 0:49one is about pickleball. So,
26. 0:52pickleball school. Pretty simple.
27. 0:54This one's about AI automation. So,
28. 0:56that's what they named it. Or
29. 0:57calligraphy school, the acting lab. It's
30. 1:00about acting, okay? School of mentors,
31. 1:02okay? It's about that. Pocket singers,
32. 1:04okay? Trading for women.
33. 1:07Family screen time challenge. So,
34. 1:09basically what you're doing is you're
35. 1:11just picking something simple and keep
36. 1:13it very, very simple. So, when you start
37. 1:15it, you can start a free school or you
38. 1:18can do a low entry point or you can
39. 1:21really charge whatever you want, but let
40. 1:23me let's just look at what some of the
41. 1:24top schools and what some of these other
42. 1:26schools are charging, okay? You want to
43. 1:27just keep it simple, okay? You can
44. 1:29always change the price. It's a lot
45. 1:31easier to go,
46. 1:32uh, you know, from the bottom up than it
47. 1:34is from the top down, okay? So, let's
48. 1:36just take a look at this. So, like this
49. 1:38school, uh, it's nine bucks a month.
50. 1:411,000 members times nine bucks a month
51. 1:43is 9,000 a month. This one's 39. This
52. 1:45one is a free one. Look, 49,
53. 1:4999,
54. 1:50119. So, you see the pricing there. Like
55. 1:53mine, I just mine's at $59 a month. And
56. 1:56one of the cool things that you can do
57. 1:58is like on mine, my price is going to go
58. 2:01up to 109 at 500 members. So, right now,
59. 2:05if you get in at like four like we have
60. 2:07430 members,
61. 2:10you can get in now at $59 a month and
62. 2:12you'll lock in your price. So, when the
63. 2:14price goes up, it doesn't go up for you.
64. 2:17It just stays the same. So, you get a
65. 2:18better deal.
66. 2:19That's something that you can do with
67. 2:21your school as well. And then you're
68. 2:23going to set up what your school's
69. 2:24about. Mine's real simple. It's how to
70. 2:25create a highly profitable online
71. 2:27education business using AI School and
72. 2:29YouTube, which is what we've been
73. 2:30learning about today. Then you can put a
74. 2:32little video here. You can put some
75. 2:34testimonials here. Like we've got all
76. 2:36these testimonials of people that um you
77. 2:40know, have done well. Like you know,
78. 2:411,800 a day, another sale, 2,100 in 2
79. 2:44weeks. So, that helps, right? And then
80. 2:46you can put a video about your business.
81. 2:49We've got one here shows when we won the
82. 2:50School Games. We've got video here, some
83. 2:53testimonials,
84. 2:55another testimonial, you know, just some
85. 2:57stuff to show different things about
86. 2:59what's inside. And you're usually just
87. 3:01showing what's inside, right? And then
88. 3:03down below here, you can have again,
89. 3:06what's inside. Keep it very simple.
90. 3:09Okay? And then they can join. That's
91. 3:11what you want to do when you get in
92. 3:12there. Just either pick a low price or
93. 3:15you can go free and then they've got a
94. 3:17tiered model, which in some coming
95. 3:20videos here, I'm going to show you how
96. 3:21that all works out, okay? And that's
97. 3:24that's it. that it's real simple. So,
98. 3:26now let's dive into the classroom. All
99. 3:28right, so let's set up your classroom.
100. 3:29This is where you're going to put the
101. 3:30stuff that people are coming to get. And
102. 3:32remember, they're coming more for the
103. 3:34accountability, the support, being a
104. 3:36part of a group. You know, it's more
105. 3:39about getting that transformation,
106. 3:40having that feedback.
107. 3:42But they're also going to need the
108. 3:43step-by-step playbook, too. And we call
109. 3:46this like the blueprint or the road map.
110. 3:48And you set this up inside your
111. 3:49classroom. And just remember, you want
112. 3:51to keep this extremely simple because
113. 3:53simple actually creates speed, speed
114. 3:56creates proof, proof creates trust, and
115. 4:00that's what we want. So, let's take a
116. 4:01look at how this works. Once you get
117. 4:03inside of here, you'll you'll it'll look
118. 4:05something similar to this. You obviously
119. 4:06wouldn't have any members yet, but you
120. 4:08would go up here to your classroom, and
121. 4:11in your classroom, yours will be empty,
122. 4:13but what it'll look like is this right
123. 4:15down here. It'll say create a new
124. 4:17course. You just click on that. You can
125. 4:19name the module. You can choose a
126. 4:21description, and then you can choose how
127. 4:22it unlocks, and I'll be covering all
128. 4:24this stuff in some other videos. Of
129. 4:26course, we cover inside of the course.
130. 4:27You want to create something that is
131. 4:29like your start here. So, this is the
132. 4:31back of the Make Once. We have our 7-day
133. 4:33rapid launch blueprint. This like gets
134. 4:35people up and going. Then we've got step
135. 4:37one, helps them create their course
136. 4:39idea, then, you know, the course
137. 4:41structuring agent, the teaching style,
138. 4:44you know, come up with their price and
139. 4:45offer, how to do the YouTube, how to
140. 4:47create school so that it converts, how
141. 4:49to get traffic and scale. And then I
142. 4:51teach people how to use school and
143. 4:53CapCut and Chat GPT and all this stuff,
144. 4:56which you can do whatever you need to do
145. 4:58to get the point across and to solve the
146. 5:00problem, but you want to create a module
147. 5:02or a course like this, and I have this
148. 5:04as like the start here. So, when people
149. 5:06join our program, they start here, and
150. 5:09then I take them through welcome, the
151. 5:11weekly rhythm, what is this, what is
152. 5:14this, what is this, and then, you know,
153. 5:16I get them into the
154. 5:18you know, the launch and the blueprint,
155. 5:19and I just walk them through as simple
156. 5:20videos. So, that's what you're going to
157. 5:23want to do is you're going to want to
158. 5:24create your first module, which is that
159. 5:26start here module, so that when people
160. 5:29join, they can start here. And you're
161. 5:31just going to build this as you go. Now,
162. 5:33what's cool about this is you can
163. 5:35actually put in, you know, PDFs, you can
164. 5:37put links in here. You can link them to
165. 5:40Google Docs. You can put the transcript
166. 5:43of all your videos in there.
167. 5:45And you know, people can search and find
168. 5:48things.
169. 5:49And this is cool. This is where you put
170. 5:50like your templates and your PDFs and
171. 5:52all the stuff that they need to to solve
172. 5:54the problem or to figure out the thing,
173. 5:56right? Then you have this calendar here
174. 5:58where you can you can see we do a weekly
175. 6:00call and you know, people can click on
176. 6:03that and then they can come to our live
177. 6:05call and I help them. I support them.
178. 6:08Those recordings then go into the
179. 6:09classroom and then they can come back in
180. 6:12here and you know, all those recordings
181. 6:15just go inside of here weekly these
182. 6:17weekly workshops and then they can get
183. 6:19in here and they can watch those weekly
184. 6:21workshops. So, it's really cool, right?
185. 6:24And here's the thing that you want to
186. 6:25remember.
187. 6:26People are not going to
188. 6:29you know, join you because things are
189. 6:30perfect. They're going to join you
190. 6:32because you actually launched it because
191. 6:34there's actually something there and
192. 6:36they're going to grow along with you.
193. 6:38You don't like wait till it's all
194. 6:39perfect and then launch. You get an
195. 6:41outline of what you're going to do. You
196. 6:43think about some start here moments, you
197. 6:45know, like what they need to know like
198. 6:46an onboarding and then you launch the
199. 6:48damn thing and you get going. Again, you
200. 6:51can't make something better that doesn't
201. 6:53exist and you don't want to
202. 6:55take all the time to build something
203. 6:57until you've proven it out and got that
204. 6:59concept figured out. But, it's so
205. 7:01inexpensive to get started. You can
206. 7:03launch your school and you can get going
207. 7:05and people can join and build along with
208. 7:08you. Okay? They'll get on the calls with
209. 7:10you. It's very, very simple. You'll have
210. 7:12a weekly call that you do. You'll have
211. 7:14the community working together.
212. 7:16Everybody's helping each other. You can
213. 7:18then take them on this journey and they
214. 7:21can join you as a founding member and
215. 7:23then they get a special perk because
216. 7:25they're at that moment where they're
217. 7:27with the founders, right? The founding
218. 7:29group and they kind of you know, they
219. 7:31kind of hold that close to their heart.
220. 7:32They're like, "Oh, I was part of the
221. 7:33founding group." And then they watch you
222. 7:35grow. They get a little special, you
223. 7:37know, lower price because they were
224. 7:38building it with you
225. 7:40and then you can launch, optimize, and
226. 7:41grow and increase the price as you want.
227. 7:43You want to get that thing launched.
228. 7:45Don't worry about perfection. Get the
229. 7:46dang thing up and going and you'll have
230. 7:49your school here. There's so many neat
231. 7:51things that you can do. You've got, like
232. 7:52I said, the classroom, the community tab
233. 7:54up here. It's so neat, right? It's so
234. 7:56cool. So again, I don't want you to
235. 7:58overthink this. I don't want you to sit
236. 8:00there and rummage around with it. That's
237. 8:01the worst thing you can do. The best
238. 8:03condition that you could ever have is
239. 8:05just starting. You're never going to
240. 8:06feel like it's time. It's never going to
241. 8:08feel perfect. You just start. And your
242. 8:11first 10 members are joining because
243. 8:14you're actually building something.
244. 8:16You're not thinking about building
245. 8:17something.
