  1. 0:00The moment you feel miserable, the moment you feel victimized, the moment you feel suffering, the moment you feel pain and you can't think greater than how you feel, the brain's checking in with the body and saying you're really miserable and it generates more corresponding thoughts equal to that feeling.
  2. 0:13So if your personality creates your personal reality and your personality is made up of how you think, how you act and how you feel, if you keep thinking the same way, you keep acting the same way, you keep feeling the same way, your life is going to stay the same because you're the same.
  3. 0:26If you're not being defined by a vision of the future, then you're left with the old memories of the past and you will be predictable in your life.
  4. 0:33You sit down, you say, what would it be like to be super healthy, super wealthy, super in love, super mystical, you know, transcendental, whatever it is.
  5. 0:42Like you ask that question and your brain gets, it's really creative.
  6. 0:46combining circuits in new ways and you start getting this vision of the future, this possibility that you actually put yourself in this future reality.
  7. 0:54It becomes so real that you start to feel the emotion as if you were actually there.
  8. 0:58Hey, it's Evan Carmichael, and I watch these videos every day because I need them for motivation.
  9. 1:04Being around successful entrepreneurs every morning helps me believe that I can do great things too.
  10. 1:09It's like your morning coffee, but for your goals, kickstarting your day with a blast of positivity.
  11. 1:13So here is a challenge for you.
  12. 1:15Try watching one video every morning for the next 30 days, and let's find out together if they help you do great things too.
  13. 1:22If you're in, leave a hashtag, believe in the comments below so I can celebrate with you.
  14. 1:29So today let's learn how to reprogram our minds and become a conscious creator with Joe Dispenza.
  15. 1:35Believe.
  16. 1:35A lot of times people wait for that crisis or the diagnosis or the betrayal to go, oh my God, I got to really change because I'm really unhappy or I can't blame that person or my past or my circumstance because nothing's working here.
  17. 1:49I got to really start making those changes.
  18. 1:52So when they see themselves changed,
  19. 1:55separate from their program, they're becoming conscious of their unconscious self, that is the first step to change.
  20. 2:01Now, I say you can learn and change in a state of pain and suffering, which most people like to do, or you can learn and change in a state of joy and inspiration, right?
  21. 2:10So could you be defined by a vision of the future?
  22. 2:14And could you get up from your morning practice, actually believing in your future more than you're believing in your past?
  23. 2:22So from that elevated state where you combine a clear intention with an elevated emotion, from an elevated state, instead of a self-limiting state, you can be conscious of that old self as well.
  24. 2:34And so I think, God, what a great time in history to be alive because this is a time in history where it's not enough to know.
  25. 2:42This is really a time in history to know how, and I've been at this long enough, Chris, to know that 20 years ago, people didn't hear it like they hear it now.
  26. 2:50The information is readily available, and people are realizing, God, if I have this dream, if I have this goal, how bad do I want it?
  27. 2:58And if they really want it, and we've all done this.
  28. 3:03You sit down and you say, what would it be like to be super healthy, super wealthy, super in love, super mystical, you know, transcendental, whatever it is.
  29. 3:12Like, you ask that question and your brain gets really creative.
  30. 3:16It starts...
  31. 3:18combining circuits in new ways and you start getting this vision of the future, this possibility that you actually put yourself in this future reality, it becomes so real that you start to feel the emotion as if you were actually there.
  32. 3:32And so that moment when you come out of your resting state, the stronger the emotion you feel when you hold that vision, the more you'll remember that vision.
  33. 3:41That's creating a memory.
  34. 3:43So the person comes out of the resting state and they make a decision.
  35. 3:47with such firm intention that the amplitude of that decision carries a level of energy that causes their body to respond to their mind.
  36. 3:56That their choice that they're making in that moment becomes a moment in time that they would never forget.
  37. 4:01They'll say to you, I remember the moment I made up my mind to change.
  38. 4:04I was in this place.
  39. 4:06I was with these people.
  40. 4:07I was this particular time.
  41. 4:09That the event is a long-term memory and they've come out of the resting state.
  42. 4:14And we could say then they're giving their body a taste of the future.
  43. 4:18emotionally, and somehow, they begin to embody whatever that future is.
  44. 4:23And now they begin to move in a different direction.
  45. 4:26And so they start trusting in their future more because they feel like they're connected to it.
  46. 4:31So then
  47. 4:32The person who's really interested in making a change would have to come to that same state again in order to produce the same effect.
  48. 4:41If they say, I don't feel like it, or I want to be nicer, or whatever, there's nothing really at stake.
  49. 4:47You know, intention is really meaning.
  50. 4:49You've got to have a meaning behind what you're doing.
  51. 4:53So people who now...
  52. 4:55Say I want a better life.
  53. 4:56I can't have a better life unless I change.
  54. 4:59And when I change, my life will change.
  55. 5:01Now you're not so interested in what's happening out there.
  56. 5:04You're more interested in what's going on inside of you.
  57. 5:07Rule number two is keep practicing.
  58. 5:10So if your personality creates your personal reality,
  59. 5:13And your personality is made up of how you think, how you act, and how you feel.
  60. 5:18If you keep thinking the same way, you keep acting the same way, you keep feeling the same way, your life is going to stay the same because you're the same.
  61. 5:25So the experiment is, okay, let me begin to think differently.
  62. 5:29So I got to remind myself how I do want to think and I have to remind myself of how I no longer want to think.
  63. 5:34So I don't default and go unconscious.
  64. 5:36Let me remind myself how I'm going to behave so that I could actually get my behaviors to match my intentions.
  65. 5:41And let me remind myself of how I'm going to feel.
  66. 5:43If I'm able to succeed in that day, then there should be some change in my life.
  67. 5:47It's the experiment.
  68. 5:49And if it doesn't change, that doesn't mean the law doesn't work for you.
  69. 5:53It's just you're not that good yet.
  70. 5:55You just got to keep practicing, right?
  71. 5:58The act of disconnecting from your life long enough to remind yourself of who you do want to be and who you no longer want to be, that experiment then is the experiment called life.
  72. 6:06Now, it's not that you react.
  73. 6:10The question is, how long are you going to react?
  74. 6:13That's the real question.
  75. 6:14Because, I mean, I react all the time.
  76. 6:17Everybody does.
  77. 6:17But if you're going to stay there and you're going to live in that emotional state, you will see life through that lens of that emotion, right?
  78. 6:25So now it gets complicated because the stronger the emotion you feel towards certain people or problems in your life,
  79. 6:34the more you pay attention to them.
  80. 6:35And where you place your attention is where you place your energy.
  81. 6:38So from a purely biological as well as quantum state, we could say then,
  82. 6:44You're using that person or that circumstance to reaffirm your dependence on feeling that emotion.
  83. 6:52So you have to hate your enemy.
  84. 6:54And if your enemy dies, you'll find another person to hate because that is the response, right?
  85. 6:59So the body is the animal.
  86. 7:02It's been conditioned a certain way.
  87. 7:04And if it's been doing something and feeling something for an extended period of time, there's a modification of its receptor sites.
  88. 7:12It's needing those emotional states.
  89. 7:14So in the process of change, just be ready because you're going to feel uncomfortable a lot of the time.
  90. 7:21Now, the question is, do you want to stay there?
  91. 7:25So then most people think they don't have any control over their emotional state.
  92. 7:29They think, I'm just this way and I feel this way.
  93. 7:32Well, we actually can show people that that's not the truth, that
  94. 7:37When it's the hardest, it matters the most.
  95. 7:39And if you're able to really work and train your body like you're training an animal to stop feeling one way and start feeling another way, if you believe that you're an eternal being, let's just say that, I mean, just most religions talk about we're eternal.
  96. 7:56Most sects of thought, there are only a few that don't, whether you're going to heaven or hell or nirvana or on the wheel, you're pretty much going to be around for a long time.
  97. 8:05That moment matters so much in the light of eternity because that's the moment you make up your mind to no longer be defined by your past.
  98. 8:15Why are you being defined by your past?
  99. 8:17Because emotions are a record of the past.
  100. 8:20And so then if you're feeling that emotion, your body is believing it's back in that same experience of the past.
  101. 8:26So the more knowledge that we have and understanding that justified
  102. 8:33Valid or not, those emotions are hurting no other person but you because the long-term effects of living by those emotional states, those survival states, are actually down-regulating genes and creating diseases.
  103. 8:46Sooner or later, you're going to have to ask yourself, is this loving to myself?
  104. 8:51And forgiveness is just when you overcome the emotion, you take your attention off that person or that problem, and you're freeing yourself and you're freeing them.
  105. 8:59So people do the best with what they think is available.
  106. 9:02That's my belief.
  107. 9:04And if you're unaware that you can control your emotional states, you'll rely on something outside of you to do that.
  108. 9:11Whether it's a computer game, whether it's a Netflix show, whether it's a drug, whatever it is,
  109. 9:17It's you need to make that feeling go away.
  110. 9:19You're dependent on your outer world.
  111. 9:20And I think that's a hypnosis.
  112. 9:22That's a conditioning.
  113. 9:24You teach people that you could actually regulate and change your emotional states.
  114. 9:28You give them the tools to literally step into a new future.
  115. 9:31So that process, of course, is extremely uncomfortable.
  116. 9:35And the question is, how long are you going to stay in that emotional state?
  117. 9:40And 50% of the story is,
  118. 9:43that most people tell about that past experience isn't even the truth.
  119. 9:47Because they're making things up and they're doing that so that they can justify why they haven't changed since some past event.
  120. 9:55Most people reach a point in their life where they reach crisis or disease or diagnosis or loss or betrayal, where they finally go, gosh, it's time to change.
  121. 10:04I think change is an ongoing process.
  122. 10:06And the more we change, the more we should see evidence in our life.
  123. 10:09That makes it exciting.
  124. 10:11Also to make sure you're actually taking action after watching this video, I've designed a special free worksheet just for this video.
  125. 10:19The worksheet will highlight our favorite lessons from the video that will inspire you to remember what you learned today and actually apply them.
  126. 10:26The worksheet will also give you space to write down what your key takeaways are and your specific plan of action to make sure you're getting results
  127. 10:35If you want the worksheet designed specifically for this video, absolutely for free.
  128. 10:39There's a link in the description below, go click on it and start building the momentum in your life and your business.
  129. 10:45I'll see you there.
  130. 10:47Rule number three is get conscious.
  131. 10:49If you're not being defined by a vision of the future, then you're left with the old memories of the past and you will be predictable in your life.
  132. 10:58And if you wake up in the morning and you're not being defined by a vision in the future, as you see the same people and you go to the same places and you do the exact same thing at the exact same time, it's no longer that your personality is creating your personal reality.
  133. 11:13Now your personal reality is affecting or creating your personality.
  134. 11:17Your environment is really controlling how you think and feel unconsciously.
  135. 11:21Because every person, every thing, every place, every experience has a neurological network in your brain.
  136. 11:27Every experience that you have with every person produces an emotion.
  137. 11:30Some people will use their boss to reaffirm their addiction to judgment.
  138. 11:34They'll use their enemy to reaffirm their addiction to hatred.
  139. 11:37They'll use their friends to reaffirm their addiction to suffering.
  140. 11:40Now, they need the outer world to feel something.
  141. 11:46To change, then, is to be greater than your environment, to be greater than the conditions in your world, and the environment is that seductive.
  142. 11:53So then, why is meditation the tool?
  143. 11:56Well,
  144. 11:57Let's sit down, let's close our eyes.
  145. 11:59Let's disconnect from your outer environment.
  146. 12:02So if you're seeing less things, there's less stimulation going to your brain.
  147. 12:06If you're playing soft music or you have ear plugs in, less sensory information coming to your brain.
  148. 12:11So you're disconnecting from your environment.
  149. 12:13We have a huge frontal lobe and it's 40% of our entire brain.
  150. 12:18And most people, when they have a thought, they just think that that's the truth.
  151. 12:22And I think one of my greatest realizations in my own journey was just because you have a thought doesn't necessarily mean it's true.
  152. 12:30So if you think 60 to 70,000 thoughts in one day, and we do, and 90% of those thoughts are the same thoughts as the day before, and you believe that your thoughts have something to do with your destiny,
  153. 12:40your life's not gonna change very much because the same thought leads to the same choice, the same choice leads to the same behavior, the same behavior creates the same experience, and the same experience produces the same emotion.
  154. 12:50And so then, the act of becoming conscious of this process to begin to become more aware
  155. 12:59of how you think, how you act, and how you feel.
  156. 13:02It's called metacognition.
  157. 13:03And so then, why is that important?
  158. 13:05Because the more conscious you become of those unconscious states of mind and body, the less likely you're gonna go unconscious during the day.
  159. 13:14And that thought is not gonna slip by your awareness unchecked because it means to know thyself.
  160. 13:24The word meditation means to become familiar with.
  161. 13:27So as you become familiar with the thoughts, the behaviors, and the emotions of the old self, you're retiring that old self.
  162. 13:33As you fire and wire new thoughts and condition the body into a new emotional state, if you do that enough times, it'll begin to become familiar to you.
  163. 13:41So it's so important
  164. 13:44Just like a garden, if you're planting a garden, you gotta get rid of the weeds.
  165. 13:49You gotta take the plants from the past year and you gotta pull them out.
  166. 13:53The rocks that sift to the top that are like our emotional blocks, they have to be removed.
  167. 13:57The soil has to be tenderized and broken down.
  168. 14:00We have to make room to plant a new garden.
  169. 14:03So primarily, we learn the most about ourselves and others when we're uncomfortable.
  170. 14:09Because the moment you move into that uncomfortable state, normally a program jumps in.
  171. 14:13When that program jumps in, it's because the person doesn't want to be in the present moment and engage it consciously.
  172. 14:19So when you teach people how to do that with a meditative process,
  173. 14:25Turns out that when they're in their life, they're less likely to emotionally react.
  174. 14:29They're less likely to be so rigid and believe the thoughts they were thinking.
  175. 14:33They're more aware of when they go unconscious back into a habit and that is what starts the process of change.
  176. 14:39And so we have to unlearn before we relearn.
  177. 14:41We have to break the habit of the old self before we reinvent the new self.
  178. 14:45We have to prune synaptic connections and sprout new connections.
  179. 14:48We have to
  180. 14:49unfire and unwire and refire and rewire.
  181. 14:51We have to unmemorize emotions that are stored in the body, then recondition the body to a new mind and to a new emotion, like deprogram and reprogram.
  182. 14:59That's the act, and it's a two-step process.
  183. 15:02Rule number four is recondition your body.
  184. 15:04Every time you have a thought, you make a chemical.
  185. 15:07And if you have a happy thought or think of something happy, you turn on a set of neurological networks in your brain that fire in a sequence, a pattern, a combination that signals another part of the brain.
  186. 15:19The brain makes another chemical that's a chemical messenger that makes you feel a certain way as you secrete a certain hormone.
  187. 15:26Okay, the moment you start to feel happy,
  188. 15:28Happy, the moment you start to feel joyful, your brain is checking in with your body saying, Chris, you're feeling pretty joyful.
  189. 15:35And so then the chemistry influences you to think more wonderful thoughts.
  190. 15:40And so the cycle of thinking and feeling and feeling and thinking creates what we call a state of being, okay?
  191. 15:46But you could...
  192. 15:48have thoughts that make you feel guilty and you can turn on a different set of circuits in your brain that signal a different batch of neuropeptides that signal a different hormonal center to make you feel differently the moment you feel miserable the moment you feel victimized the moment you feel suffering the moment you feel pain and you can't think greater than how you feel
  193. 16:10The brain's checking in with the body and saying you're really miserable and it generates more corresponding thoughts equal to that feeling.
  194. 16:17So it's thinking and feeling and feeling and thinking.
  195. 16:19This loop of thinking and feeling and feeling and thinking creates a state of being.
  196. 16:23And again, the thought and the feeling, the image and the emotion, the stimulus and response is making the body become conditioned emotionally.
  197. 16:32subconsciously into the past.
  198. 16:35And so now the person has to feel that same motion to reaffirm their identity.
  199. 16:42So that becomes their state of being and now they behave
  200. 16:47as if they're in their past, and they think as if they're in their past.
  201. 16:51On to number five, the last one before some very special bonus clips is practice meditation.
  202. 16:57I like to just get myself in my think box, organizing what am I not going to think about?
  203. 17:03What am I going to stay away from?
  204. 17:04What am I not going to do in my meditation?
  205. 17:06I'm going to review that.
  206. 17:07What am I going to do?
  207. 17:09When I get that all worked out, then I get in my play box.
  208. 17:11In my play box, there's no thinking.
  209. 17:13I've got all the thinking done in my think box.
  210. 17:15In my play box, it's really about me changing my state.
  211. 17:18And so I allow for two hours every morning.
  212. 17:21Doesn't mean I always take it or need it, let me say that.
  213. 17:25But I allow for two hours.
  214. 17:26Sometimes I like to just get my mind straight and then I do the work.
  215. 17:32I do the work and I like to get to that point where when I'm done, I feel like something changed.
  216. 17:38Do the work?
  217. 17:40Yeah.
  218. 17:41What does the work look like?
  219. 17:43It's meditation.
  220. 17:44Yeah.
  221. 17:45It's finding the present moment, getting into the unknown.
  222. 17:48It's getting beyond myself, disconnecting from my body, getting beyond any thought of anyone or anything, getting beyond time, moving beyond space and time.
  223. 17:59Turns out when you focus on nothing, there are so many amazing things that happen to your brain.
  224. 18:04I've seen the scans over and over again.
  225. 18:07What have you seen in the scans?
  226. 18:10Well, there's this thing in the brain called modularity.
  227. 18:14And when we're living by the hormones of stress, and stress is when you can't predict something, when you can't control something, or you have the perception that something's going to get worse.
  228. 18:25You switch on that fight or flight nervous system, and the rush of those chemicals causes us to become alert, to become aroused.
  229. 18:32And we narrow our focus
  230. 18:34on the material world.
  231. 18:36And so when you're not able to control everything in your life and you can't predict everything in your life, you start shifting your attention to everyone and everything, every person, every object, every place.
  232. 18:45We've all had that experience when we're under stress.
  233. 18:47And every one of those people, those objects, those things, those places has a neurological network in the brain.
  234. 18:53So like a lightning storm in the clouds, the brain begins to fire out of order, very incoherently.
  235. 18:59It becomes modulated or compartmentalized.
  236. 19:02It's a house divided against itself, and those individual compartments don't talk to the rest of the brain.
  237. 19:08And we tend to get over-focused.
  238. 19:10You never notice when you're under stress, you're obsessing about something, you're over-focusing about something, you're overthinking something, you're over-analyzing, you're driving your brain higher and higher into higher states of arousal, high beta brainwave patterns.
  239. 19:24We discovered that if you teach a person to go from a narrow focus on something physical, something material, and broaden their focus, open their awareness and put their attention on space, on nothing, and create what's called a divergent focus, the act of sensing
  240. 19:40and no longer analyzing thinking, begins to slow the brainwaves down from that beta brainwave state to a low-level beta, and then all of a sudden to alpha.
  241. 19:50If they keep doing it, sensing space tends to cause those different compartments that were modulated or divided to begin to synchronize.
  242. 19:59What sinks in the brain actually links in the brain, so the brain starts firing in a more holistic state.
  243. 20:05In other words, every single area of the brain is resonating at the same frequency, and now the brain is functioning as one neurological network instead of individuals.
  244. 20:15That kind of wholism, that kind of order feels really good.
  245. 20:19It feels really good.
  246. 20:21And so people practice slowing their brainwaves down, not only to get beyond the analytical mind, but to cause the brain to fire in a more coherent way.
  247. 20:30And if we're going to have a clear intention about what we want, the more coherent the brain, the clearer the intention.
  248. 20:37So we've seen in seven days, even in four days,
  249. 20:41These dramatic changes in the levels of coherence and order that take place in the brain, the brain's firing in a more holistic state.
  250. 20:48That's when the person notices the change in their anxiety and the depression and their PTSD, whatever it is, there's more order in the brain.
  251. 20:56And the act of focusing on nothing and opening your awareness to space creates that kind of amazing change.
  252. 21:07If you can turn on the stress response just by thought alone, by thinking about your problems, then that's the truth.
  253. 21:13You can become addicted to your own thoughts.
  254. 21:16And if the long-term effects of the hormones of stress push the genetic buttons that create disease, your thoughts could make you sick.
  255. 21:23Then the question is, if your thoughts could make you sick, can your thoughts make you well?
  256. 21:27And we're actually discovering that that's absolutely possible.
  257. 21:30So then...
  258. 21:32Teaching people then a little bit about how to manage their emotional state and self-regulate, I think is a great gift for people because when they begin to break an addiction to any emotion or the conditioning of any emotion, there's going to be cravings that go on just like any addict.
  259. 21:52Many people overdose and many people have bad trips.
  260. 21:54When they start
  261. 21:57changing and the body's craving those familiar emotions, the body starts signaling the brain, you know, of memories or to think certain ways and to make certain choices, do certain things, crave certain experiences just to feel that same emotion.
  262. 22:12And people say, well,
  263. 22:14This feels right.
  264. 22:16No, that feels familiar.
  265. 22:17That really feels familiar.
  266. 22:19And many people will tell the story of why they feel that way based on some past experience.
  267. 22:26And it's usually not in the recent past, it's usually many years ago.
  268. 22:30Like a toxic relationship or something.
  269. 22:31Whatever that is.
  270. 22:33And so they're basically saying I had an event in my life and since that event, I'm still living by the same emotion and I haven't been able to change.
  271. 22:42And they'll tell the story of that past.
  272. 22:45And in psychology, the latest research on memory shows that 50% of that story isn't even the truth.
  273. 22:52They're making it up because they don't have the same brain as they had then.
  274. 22:56And so then people are reliving a miserable life they never even had just to excuse themselves from changing.
  275. 23:04And they embellish the stories so that it sounds really hard to change.
  276. 23:08So what is that point then for a person when they say, the only person that this emotion of hatred or anger or frustration or resentment, the only person that this is hurting is me because those chemicals are down-regulating genes and creating disease.
  277. 23:29And a person finally really realizes that and they really decide to change.
  278. 23:35When they overcome the emotion, the memory without the emotion is called wisdom.
  279. 23:40And that's the name of the game in three-dimensional reality.
  280. 23:42Now they're ready for a new experience.
  281. 23:44It's not reliving the past.
  282. 23:46You don't need to.
  283. 23:47You don't need to talk about it.
  284. 23:48All you need to do is overcome the emotion.
  285. 23:50When you overcome the emotion, you're free from the past.
  286. 23:53You can see it from a greater level of consciousness.
  287. 23:55And that's when a person, so many times when they truly change, they'll say this.
  288. 23:59We've seen it over and over again.
  289. 24:01They reach that point where they finally break through and some of them have had some really difficult pasts.
  290. 24:06They'll say, I would not want to change one thing in my past because it brought me to this moment.
  291. 24:13That's the moment the past no longer exists.
  292. 24:16And they can look at their betrayers
  293. 24:19And see, it all had to happen for that moment.
  294. 24:21And now they're free.
  295. 24:23They no longer belong to the past.
  296. 24:25They belong to the future.
  297. 24:26The three-dimensional reality is really just about your body in an environment in linear time.
  298. 24:31So the hormones of stress cause us then to become very local.
  299. 24:36in space and time, and when you turn on that response, you're drawing from this invisible field of energy, of light and information that's surrounding your body, this vital life force, and you're turning it into chemistry.
  300. 24:48And when you do that, the field around your body shrinks a little bit.
  301. 24:51You become more matter,
  302. 24:53less energy, more particle, less wave, and now you start trying as matter, trying to change matter to force outcomes.
  303. 25:01Do that for an extended period of time and you don't have any energy to heal.
  304. 25:06You don't have any energy to create a new future.
  305. 25:09You've actually tapped your body's life force, its reserves.
  306. 25:13So then,
  307. 25:15What's the solution?
  308. 25:16What have we found?
  309. 25:18That a part of the formula is shifting from what we call a convergent focus, a narrow focus on something material, to begin to broaden your focus, close your eyes, and instead of narrow your focus, open your focus, or broaden your focus, or what's called a divergent focus is open your focus out, convergent focus, focusing in.
  310. 25:40So as you begin to open your focus,
  311. 25:43you start going against that habit.
  312. 25:47And people do it for a few seconds, and then they go back to the habit.
  313. 25:50But if you keep teaching them how to do that, and they keep opening their awareness to space, to nothing material, the act of sensing and tuning in to frequency causes them to stop analyzing and thinking.
  314. 26:04When you're sensing, you're not analyzing, you're sensing, you're feeling.
  315. 26:07And when you do that, if you're thinking less,
  316. 26:10you start slowing down your brain waves and you stop
  317. 26:15kicking that analytical mind into gear.
  318. 26:18So the whole purpose of meditation is to get beyond the analytical mind.
  319. 26:22And what separates the conscious mind from the subconscious mind is the analytical mind.
  320. 26:27And if you can't change your brainwaves and get beyond that analytical mind, you're separate from the operating system where all those subconscious programs exist.
  321. 26:36So then as you begin to open your awareness and you're thinking less,
  322. 26:41as you shift your brainwaves from beta, as it slows down, you start moving into what's called alpha brainwave patterns, and now your inner world tends to be more real than your outer world, and you're not thinking as much, and there's no critic in your head, no voice in your head talking to you,
  323. 26:57Instead, your brain is creating in pictures and images, and it's slowing down.
  324. 27:02The emotions that people primarily hold onto are the emotions of stress, the anger and the aggression and the fear and the anxiety and the pain and suffering, the hopelessness, the powerlessness.
  325. 27:13Those are all driven by the hormones of stress.
  326. 27:15What most people don't know is that when we have the stress response and we're reacting to something, there's a rush of energy because from a
  327. 27:23adaptive standpoint, that's how we survive.
  328. 27:26We would see a threat in our environment, we get a burst of energy, and then we would mobilize all this energy to protect ourselves.
  329. 27:33The HPA reaction system.
  330. 27:34Exactly.
  331. 27:35So then what was once
  332. 27:38highly adaptive has now become very maladaptive.
  333. 27:41Get rid of the program.
  334. 27:42Because the maladaptive program means that if you're sitting on the porch of your house and you're fretting over which employee to fire and you know one really deserves the job but the boss likes the other one and you have to go deliver the bad news and that person has two kids and his wife has cancer and you have to make that choice.
  335. 28:03Now you're turning on the stress response just by thought alone.
  336. 28:07There's no longer a lion chasing you.
  337. 28:09You're thinking about some worst case scenario and you're making thought more real than anything else.
  338. 28:15And when that happens, the body does not know the difference between the experience
  339. 28:22of being chased by a lion that produces the emotions of stress, and the emotions you're fabricating by thought alone.
  340. 28:28To the body, it's being knocked out of balance just by thought alone.
  341. 28:32Now here's the kicker.
  342. 28:35We can turn on a stress response just by thought alone, and the absolute biological fact is the hormones of stress begin to push the genetic buttons that create disease.
  343. 28:46And by pure reason, we could say our thoughts make us sick.
  344. 28:51Well, then the question is if our thoughts make us sick, can our thoughts make us well?
  345. 28:55We have three types of stress that we process in the physical body.
  346. 28:59We have physical stress, that's like trauma, accidents, injuries, falls.
  347. 29:05And then you have chemical stress like toxins or pesticides or pollutants or viruses or bacteria or hangovers or nutritional deficiencies.
  348. 29:16And then you have emotional stress, right?
  349. 29:19And emotional stress can be family tragedies, car accidents, second mortgages, single parenting, 401ks, you know, whatever that is.
  350. 29:29But each one of those things, physical, chemical, or emotional, knock the body out of homeostasis, out of regulation, out of balance.
  351. 29:37The innate capacity of the body when it's not overstressed is that it wants to always return back and regulate.
  352. 29:45It wants to return back to homeostasis.
  353. 29:47It wants to return back to order.
  354. 29:48And that's kind of innate in us.
  355. 29:50That's an automatic process.
  356. 29:52That's running through the autonomic nervous system.
  357. 29:54So we could say the job of the autonomic nervous system is to create balance and regulation and homeostasis.
  358. 30:01And it's automatic, right?
  359. 30:02And that part of the brain sits under the thinking neocortex.
  360. 30:07And it's called the chemical brain or the emotional brain or the limbic brain or the mammalian brain.
  361. 30:11And it has all of those functions that make blood sugar balanced, hormone levels balanced.
  362. 30:17digestive enzymes, it's doing what it can to take the body and constantly repair it and regenerate it and move it back into balance.
  363. 30:27All of those stressors knock the brain and body out of balance and the innate mechanism, the stress response brings it back to balance.
  364. 30:33Well, it just makes sense.
  365. 30:35If you keep knocking it out of balance over and over again, and you keep moving it out of homeostasis, that imbalance is going to become the new balance.
  366. 30:44And now you're headed for disease because that autonomic automatic system can't regulate order in the body.
  367. 30:49So a system then is compromised.
  368. 30:51The system breaks down.
  369. 30:53And so if it's...
  370. 30:57physical trauma, you know, your body can heal if you rest it.
  371. 31:01If it's chemical imbalance, you take your pharmaceuticals or you take your nutraceuticals, your vitamins, your minerals, your herbs, you intermittent fast, you eat a vegan diet, you do anything you can to get the body back so that it's using more energy for growth and repair.
  372. 31:20So for some people,
  373. 31:22digestion consumes more energy than the process makes, right?
  374. 31:27So they're in a state of constant diminishing returns, right?
  375. 31:32So when the autonomic nervous system is out of balance and the digestive system is perceiving that there's a threat and danger all the time in the outer world, the person's living in fear, it's not a time to digest, right?
  376. 31:43So that system was compromised, right?
  377. 31:46So then they'd become very sensitized
  378. 31:49to the foods they consume because the response constantly from the environment is weakening the organism, right?
  379. 31:55So they're victim to the environment.
  380. 31:56So they're more susceptible to have food allergies or whatever it is.
  381. 32:00So then the person then goes to a diet where they consume less foods that require more energy to break down.
  382. 32:08So it's like taking a camel in the desert that's fallen and lifting all the packs off it, getting it back up and then slowly adding the packs back on, right?
  383. 32:17So people do things to get the body back into chemical balance and sometimes refining or changing their diet in some way.
  384. 32:25And there's thousands of options for that.
  385. 32:27You got to feel good about it and you got to believe in it.
  386. 32:31But the big factor is emotional stress.
  387. 32:34Yes.
  388. 32:35Really, for the most part, 75% to 90% of every person that walks into a healthcare facility in the Western world walks in because of psychological or emotional stress.
  389. 32:46Really?
  390. 32:46That's pretty much four out of five people.
  391. 32:49What's really causing their health condition is that they're emotionally stressed and emotionally out of balance.
  392. 32:55Okay, so...
  393. 32:57What are the emotions that are connected to the stress hormones?
  394. 33:01It's anger, it's hatred, it's violence, it's frustration, it's competition, it's control, it's judgment, it's envy, it's jealousy, it's insecurity, it's fear, it's anxiety, it's worry, it's angst.
  395. 33:14It's hopelessness, it's powerlessness, it's guilt, it's shame, it's unworthiness.
  396. 33:19And psychology calls these normal human states of consciousness.
  397. 33:22These are altered states of consciousness.
  398. 33:24So our response to someone or something in our environment or our response to our own thought, an image of what could happen in the future, a memory of the past, could actually cause chemicals to be secreted from the brain.
  399. 33:40That's
  400. 33:41That causes the body to actually believe it's living in that same environment of fear or danger.
  401. 33:48This is the telltale moment.
  402. 33:51If human beings have what it takes to truly be able to solve the problems
  403. 33:59that we've created from a limited level of consciousness from a greater level of consciousness the answers are all around us we just got to wake up whatever it is from global warming to politics monetary uh systems it's all there it's just we just have to emerge as a collective
  404. 34:23that's connected by the energy of love, of gratitude, of freedom, and to not shrink in fear or hostility or suffering as these changes take place because now we're at the same vibrational energy that's created them.
  405. 34:40And so we have to change our attitude and invite these changes and believe that something greater is coming.
  406. 34:48You see, we are the people that we're waiting for.
  407. 34:52That's it.
  408. 34:53We're the people.
  409. 34:54We're waiting for it.
  410. 34:55So why not just wake up?
  411. 34:56So if I can contribute to that evolution in some way, if me personally, it's not about Joe Dispenza.
  412. 35:08I have no interest in that.
  413. 35:09I've given that up a long time ago.
  414. 35:12What I do have a fundamental interest in is...
  415. 35:18what's possible for human beings and it should never be about me, it should be about them.
  416. 35:22Because I want them to experience their own empowerment.
  417. 35:26And you can't tell me you're too old.
  418. 35:28You can't tell me you're too sick.
  419. 35:30You can't tell me you're too overweight or underweight or had too tough of a past or your life is too falling.
  420. 35:38You can't tell me any of those things any longer.
  421. 35:40You can't even tell me you don't even meditate.
  422. 35:41I never meditated before.
  423. 35:43I've seen every one of those
  424. 35:46excuses in every different genre experience transformation, which means then nobody is so special to be excluded from this phenomenon.
  425. 35:59And so I hope that I leave a mark in some way that empower people
  426. 36:06to no longer believe that they're limited.
  427. 36:07It's so easy to believe we're limited.
  428. 36:10Once they realize that they're empowered and they're unlimited, get out of the way.
  429. 36:15And if they're tempering those emotions,
  430. 36:19and they're overcoming those addictions to those emotions, they'll see the hidden meaning behind all things.
  431. 36:26They won't necessarily believe everything they're seeing on the news.
  432. 36:29They'll see the way it really is because they're no longer controlled by those emotions.
  433. 36:33They're at a greater level of energy.
  434. 36:35And emotions are energy.
  435. 36:37And nobody changes.
  436. 36:39until they change their energy.
  437. 36:40And when you change your energy, you change something in your life.
  438. 36:43It's the law.
  439. 36:44So people are doing it.
  440. 36:46We're at the point where they're doing it, and some of them are becoming it.
  441. 36:50And when you become it, no one can take it away from you.
  442. 36:52It's yours.
  443. 36:53I think to heal by thought alone, we have to demystify the process.
  444. 37:01So let's answer the question on two levels, okay?
  445. 37:05Let's answer it in terms of the placebo, and then let's answer it in terms of what we can teach people in order to do that.
  446. 37:14So if you think about the placebo, how is it that you can give someone a sugar pill, a saline injection, or perform some false surgery or treatment?
  447. 37:26And a certain percentage of those people will accept, believe, and surrender to the thought that they're getting the real substance or treatment.
  448. 37:35Without any analysis, they begin to program their autonomic nervous system to make their own pharmacy of chemicals that matches the exact chemical or treatment they think they're getting.
  449. 37:46Now, was it the inert substance, the placebo that was doing the healing?
  450. 37:51Or was it the thought that was doing the healing?
  451. 37:54So there are numerous cases in science that show that between 10% and 100% of certain studies that are placebo-based triple-blind studies, people heal by thought alone all the time.
  452. 38:07So here's the question.
  453. 38:10Do you need the inert substance to do the healing?
  454. 38:15Or if you understand the science and mechanics of how the placebo works, can you teach people instead of putting their faith and belief in some exogenous substance, something outside of them, like a pill, something unknown, can you begin to put your faith and belief in yourself and begin to select an unknown in the quantum field, a new possibility that already exists?
  455. 38:38and do the exact same thing you did with the placebo, but believe in a future and allow your body to begin to respond to a new mind?
  456. 38:46And the answer to the question is yes, because we've measured it enough times in our studies with the brain.
  457. 38:53So that's point number one.
  458. 38:55The second point that is important to understand is that people only accept, believe, and surrender to the thoughts that are equal to their emotional state.
  459. 39:07They'll never accept, believe, and surrender to any other thoughts that are not equal to their emotional state.
  460. 39:12So if you get a diagnosis and the first emotion you feel after the diagnosis is fear or sadness, you can think positively all you want with 5% of your conscious mind.
  461. 39:28But who you are by the time you're 35 years old is a subconscious program of beliefs, perceptions, attitudes, emotional reactions, unconscious habits, and behaviors.
  462. 39:40So then the person gets the diagnosis, they're feeling fear, thoughts are the language of the brain, feelings are the language of the body.
  463. 39:48They're thinking positively with the 5% of their conscious mind, but they're feeling fear.
  464. 39:53And they could do that all they want, but it's never going to get beyond their analytical mind and begin to have an effect on the body.
  465. 40:00So mind and body are working in opposition.
  466. 40:03That means also then that if you can change a person's emotional state to gratitude, to inspiration, to hope, to love,
  467. 40:19That means that they'll accept, believe, and surrender to the thoughts equal to that emotional state, and they'll begin to program their autonomic nervous system into a different pharmacy of chemicals.
  468. 40:31Now, let's just make this very clear now.
  469. 40:34In placebo studies, 81% of people who have
  470. 40:43if they're in a placebo study, and 81% of those people who are taking the placebo actually respond as well to the placebo as they would to an antidepressant.
  471. 40:5481%, that's a pretty high study.
  472. 40:57What that means is they're making their own pharmacy of antidepressants right within.
  473. 41:02The nervous system is the greatest pharmacist in the world.
  474. 41:05So what's the relevance, the significance of that?
  475. 41:08The significance is really simple.
  476. 41:10And people begin to change their emotional state.
  477. 41:13They begin to alter who they are.
  478. 41:17It may take more than one attempt at this because in that placebo study, they took the placebo for six to eight weeks.
  479. 41:26Now the pill represented the possibility of them getting well, their thought.
  480. 41:31When they start looking forward to or anticipating getting better and they feel inspired, when you combine a clear intention with an elevated emotion, you're moving into a new state of being.
  481. 41:40Now the brain and body are no longer living in the past.
  482. 41:43The brain and body are living in the future in the present moment and they're beginning to produce substantial neurological, biological, and genetic changes in their body.
  483. 41:52But the placebo study for depression, that person took the pill for six to eight weeks, which means you may actually have to change your state of being for six to eight weeks before you begin to see the change.
  484. 42:04So I don't want this to be a panacea where you do it once and you're better.
  485. 42:08Our students have healed themselves a very significant, very, very...
  486. 42:16almost predestined genetic conditions that medical science had no solution for.
  487. 42:21Not just one student with one condition, but other students with the same condition.
  488. 42:25Now we're seeing a trend.
  489. 42:27But it took them, some of those people, two years to do it by thought alone.
  490. 42:33So they wanted it more than their sleep.
  491. 42:35They wanted it more than their pain.
  492. 42:37They wanted it more than their social interactions or social engagements.
  493. 42:41They wanted it more than breakfast.
  494. 42:42To them, it was the most important thing.
  495. 42:45So every single day, they took the placebo by thought alone.
  496. 42:49And by doing that, over time they were able to turn the battleship around.
  497. 42:54So, it takes developing the skill.
  498. 42:58It takes the science of understanding how it works.
  499. 43:02It takes changing a belief or perception that you have about yourself and your life.
  500. 43:07And it's going to take you feeling a little bit uncomfortable in the process of doing it.
  501. 43:12But to heal by thought alone means that you have to get to the point where you literally are thought alone.
  502. 43:19That's when you begin to see the significant changes.
  503. 43:21So in a sense then, it's not the personality that chooses the body or the parents, or it's the soul that chooses it.
  504. 43:28Does that make sense?
  505. 43:29But if a person gets caught in routine and gets lost in the quagmire of life, then the ego takes over and the soul is diminished.
  506. 43:39And now the person is doing their best to become a somebody, a someone, own something, be somewhere in some time.
  507. 43:44And of course, if that's the journey,
  508. 43:47and the person's not willing to find wisdom or look for truth, then they can play on that level for as long as they want until they're tired of it.
  509. 43:55And when they finally get bored with it, they'll want to choose something else.
  510. 43:58And eternity is a long time, wouldn't you agree?
  511. 44:02So then, the soul then says, okay, here's the options, probable lines of time.
  512. 44:08There are probable lines of time that are more probable than others.
  513. 44:13There is a probable line of time for living in the same body and raising your frequency to the point where you can go wherever you want with your body.
  514. 44:25That's the ultimate, yes or no?
  515. 44:27And you can whip bread out of nothing and you can be in two places at once and you can be on an alternate universe and have a whole life there and you can be dimensional.
  516. 44:38That's the freedom of when you've mastered yourself and you've mastered the conditions.
  517. 44:44But most of us are headed in a certain timeline based on our genes and based on our own personal evolution.
  518. 44:52And that's what makes this time right now so powerful.
  519. 44:57This time right now is the age of information.
  520. 45:01And in the age of information, ignorance is actually a choice.
  521. 45:05And people are beginning to realize, I don't need a doctor to find out what my disease is, I don't need to go to the library or talk to my teacher, I can just find the information.
  522. 45:14And people are starting to wake up to greater understandings, and that is starting to become the collective.
  523. 45:20And that collective energy in the field, the collective consciousness, the collective awareness, is changing the future of humanity.
  524. 45:28Yes or no?
  525. 45:29And at the same time, the past is crumbling.
  526. 45:35There is economic collapse, there's political collapse, there's religious collapse, there's environmental collapse, all of that is breaking down.
  527. 45:46Journalistic collapse, who watches the news and expects to hear the truth?
  528. 45:50It's just all falling apart and it's becoming so obvious to people that all of a sudden they're realizing that the people that run the world are people that are in places of power are actually really, really worse off than you and I.
  529. 46:05And the only thing that has to happen is that we have to collectively become one mind.
  530. 46:10And when we collectively become one mind, we're no longer seduced by those things.
  531. 46:15And we are now like a flock of birds all moving in the same direction, and those fish all of a sudden moving as a school.
  532. 46:23Nobody's leading, everybody's leading.
  533. 46:25We're just connected.
  534. 46:26And what do you think we're doing when you tune in to the power of love in this room?
  535. 46:31Don't you know everybody dialing into that same frequency is causing that frequency to be in this room?
  536. 46:38And if everybody's doing it, it's getting more collimated, more coherent, more organized.
  537. 46:43And if you put your attention on it, there's more of it.
  538. 46:46So then when you're leading with your heart, that's enough.
  539. 46:50That's enough.
  540. 46:52So then when you have a collective mind and people are moving in that way and they're no longer reacting to politics or whatever and they no longer need those things, you're catching somebody who's starting to awaken.
  541. 47:04Yes or no?
  542. 47:05And if you're focusing on the divine and that's where all of your attention is, you won't see ethnicity.
  543. 47:10You won't see skin color.
  544. 47:12You won't see anything as separation.
  545. 47:14You'll just be like, wow, nice costume to the masquerade.
  546. 47:19I should've wore that.
  547. 47:23It's crazy because then people go get their genetics found out and some of them just really have an intolerance to some culture and they're 40% of that culture.
  548. 47:38So, what makes this time for me so unique, and I'm speaking personally, is that there's such a quickening going on.
  549. 47:49More things are happening in a shorter amount of time, would you agree?
  550. 47:53And if more things are happening in a shorter amount of time, it becomes more difficult to predict the next moment.
  551. 47:59This point we're reaching, this nodal point, is the point of unpredictability, and the old is collapsing.
  552. 48:07And the collapsing of the old should never be faced with fear, with bigotry, with anger, with hostility, with guilt, sadness, and shame, because that's how we've been controlled all along.
  553. 48:21And by the way, I mean, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but if you want to control people, manipulate their emotions.
  554. 48:27So as we move closer and closer to that point, the probability of us changing our life, the length of our life, not from low-stress foods and not from vitamins, all those things are good, matter to matter.
  555. 48:44But stress is going to downregulate the gene, consume the body's energy, and now that's going to begin to signal the gene to produce the disease that the person has inherited in the first place.
  556. 48:56Are you with me still?
  557. 48:57So when you react to someone or something and you're living by the same emotional state, you keep the same genes on, the same genes off, and that's your genetic destiny.
  558. 49:06And now the awakening of this, even if...
  559. 49:10Even if we changed little timelines just this week, we changed lines of time.
  560. 49:16You've changed something about yourself.
  561. 49:18You are going to walk into a different future that is your genetic timeline.
  562. 49:22And now you're bumped off course.
  563. 49:24You just got to be willing to stay in the unknown and be comfortable with it.
  564. 49:27And that's when you're at your greatest.
  565. 49:29If you're truly in the business of change or creating your life, that's a big responsibility.
  566. 49:38We ran our event.
  567. 49:39I said to the audience, okay, nobody forced you to come here.
  568. 49:45You came here on your own.
  569. 49:47You took the risk in coming here.
  570. 49:49By coming here, you also agree that
  571. 49:54you create your reality, that you're responsible for yourself and your life.
  572. 49:58So if something happens to you, you can't blame anybody because of that.
  573. 50:03It's your responsibility to take care of you, right?
  574. 50:06So then the fundamental question is, and I ask myself this all the time, at what point do I stop believing
  575. 50:17that I create my life.
  576. 50:18At what point?
  577. 50:19When things go bad, then all of a sudden it's, I didn't create that.
  578. 50:23That person is doing it to me, right?
  579. 50:26So if we can wire that in our brains, right?
  580. 50:30That our reaction and response to an environmental condition is causing us to go back to the past.
  581. 50:41That's what the emotion is.
  582. 50:42The familiar emotion is the past.
  583. 50:45And I'm on the journey and I catch myself doing that.
  584. 50:50If I'm truly in the practice every day and I can cultivate a feeling, not on the spot then,
  585. 51:00You're not prepared.
  586. 51:02Your meditation is the preparation of mind and body for this.
  587. 51:06So I don't get up from my meditation until I'm in love with life.
  588. 51:10I don't create anything that's gonna be unlimited until I feel unlimited.
  589. 51:14And I...
  590. 51:16And if I'm practicing feeling unlimited every day, I'll practice connecting to the emotions of my future, I'm out of the bleachers and I'm on the field.
  591. 51:26If you're in the bleachers and you're trying to not react to people and circumstances, you don't have the practice or the skill set
  592. 51:36on how to create that emotion, because you haven't been practicing creating it.
  593. 51:40And why do we close our eyes and do it?
  594. 51:41Because the environment is so seductive.
  595. 51:43Why do we sit still and not move?
  596. 51:45Because you're going to want to get up and pee and eat and have a cup of coffee and feel.
  597. 51:49So now you're telling your body, hey, stay.
  598. 51:53I'm gonna feed you, yeah, you're gonna take a shower, you're gonna get coffee, you can play with your cell phone, you can text, you can talk trash, you can do anything you want, but right now, you're not the mind.
  599. 52:03I'm the mind, and you're gonna sit and stay till I'm done, and when I condition you to the emotions of the future, and I get a very clear image of who I'm going to be this day, and I'm not gonna get up until I feel that way,
  600. 52:18I guarantee you, you're gonna come up against all those unconscious thoughts, they're gonna come up right there.
  601. 52:24I want people, I want them to see it.
  602. 52:27I want them to become so familiar with it, so conscious, if they wouldn't go unconscious, they wouldn't let that thought, I can't ever slip by, their awareness unchecked.
  603. 52:34They've done the work in the beginning of the day.
  604. 52:37They suppress those circuits in the brain, and nerve cells that no longer fire together, no longer wire together.
  605. 52:42You're breaking down the old personality.
  606. 52:45And so you say, your body wants to get up, I gotta pee, I wanna have a couple, I'm gonna check my, and you watch your body wanna get up and you go, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, get over here.
  607. 52:54You get back into this present moment.
  608. 52:57And you, every time you do that, it's a victory.
  609. 53:00You're executing a will that's greater than an unconscious program.
  610. 53:04And most people lose their free will to a program because they do the same thing
  611. 53:09Today as they did yesterday, their body's on autopilot and it's dragging them into the same future habitually based on what they did in the past.
  612. 53:15So now you're sitting there and it's just a little uncomfortable and you want to quit and your body, and you go, no.
  613. 53:19And you get over here and you bring it back.
  614. 53:23Now some people say I can't meditate, but really, they're actually doing it right.
  615. 53:26That's a victory too.
  616. 53:28And then you do that and you start watching how you're training your body back into the present moment.
  617. 53:33Then your body says, well,
  618. 53:36You know, Lewis, it's 8.30 in the morning.
  619. 53:40This is usually when you watch the news and throw a tirade and get angry.
  620. 53:44Right.
  621. 53:45React.
  622. 53:45And you're sitting here with your eyes closed and you're off schedule.
  623. 53:49So why don't we just get agitated about anything?
  624. 53:51So the body starts trying to create images in your mind so you remember your ex, you remember your problems, so you can feel that agitation.
  625. 53:57What if you watched your body do that and you said...
  626. 54:00No, no, no, no.
  627. 54:01I'm not gonna give my power away to the past or that person or that circumstance in my life.
  628. 54:05You get that body back in the present moment, you lower the volume to that emotion, that's a victory.
  629. 54:10You're telling the body it's no longer the mind, that you're the mind.
  630. 54:12Now, that kind of work is tedious in the beginning, but I watch people because when I have them do that, it starts stretching their boundaries.
  631. 54:22The known self, that little box, starts to move into the unknown and they survive.
  632. 54:28And all of a sudden they're more relaxed in the present moment, the unknown.
  633. 54:31And they start feeling more satisfied.
  634. 54:32So now they're more ready to create.
  635. 54:34So the preparation for the day is to remind yourself of who you no longer want to be.
  636. 54:40To know thyself, to become so familiar with, the word meditation means to become familiar with.
  637. 54:46So conscious of your unconscious programs, you're not going to go unconscious.
  638. 54:51Why?
  639. 54:52Because you did battle today with that personality that's creating the same personal reality.
  640. 54:57And if your personality is made up of how you think, how you act, and how you feel, and you want to create a new personal reality, then you've got to change your personality.
  641. 55:05And that's going to mean then you're going to become so conscious of those unconscious programs that you're no longer the program.
  642. 55:11You're the consciousness observing the program.
  643. 55:13Disentangling from that?
  644. 55:15is not easy.
  645. 55:16That's why most people won't do it.
  646. 55:17That's why they get on their cell phone and say, let me just create a little dopamine by just seeing if I got a text from somebody I like.
  647. 55:23Then your phone's over there and you're no longer regulating with something outside of you.
  648. 55:27This is game time.
  649. 55:29So then if you said,
  650. 55:32What thoughts do I want to fire and wire in my brain?
  651. 55:35With my attention and my intention.
  652. 55:38I think we're reality producing machines.
  653. 55:40I mean, there's no single individual on this planet who doesn't create reality unless they have a brain injury or something.
  654. 55:47But for the most part, most of us are engaged in reality.
  655. 55:51And we do cause effects.
  656. 55:53I think we reach a certain point in our life where we stop learning and we start feeling.
  657. 55:58And when we use feelings as a barometer for the unknown,
  658. 56:02it's contraindicated because feelings are usually a record of a past experience.
  659. 56:08So we try to predict how that future event is going to be based on a feeling, and we always return back to the old self again.
  660. 56:15So I love the idea of how we can actually produce effects.
  661. 56:20I love the idea that every human being either lives in one of two states of mind.
  662. 56:25We either live in
  663. 56:26creation which is growth and expansion and its health and homeostasis the emotions of love and joy and trust make us feel connected to something bigger than us or we live in a state of survival and the state of survival is living in stress and living in stress is when your body is knocked out of balance and the redundancy of that cycle over time
  664. 56:50that imbalance that keeps happening begins to break the body down.
  665. 56:53And I think the biggest problem for us because of the size of our brains is we can turn on a stress response just by thought alone, and we do it all day long.
  666. 57:02in that continuous redundant being out of balance over time that imbalance becomes the new balance and now we're headed for contraction and disease and feeling separate from the field and being selfish instead of selfless we begin to live in a state of breakdown in a state of
  667. 57:26uh uh disease and and a lack of health and and so then those emotions then of those survival chemicals endorse the ego and then we become more self-indulgent and more self-important and more self-serving because that's what those chemicals do so
  668. 57:45We live in one of those two states of mind.
  669. 57:47Now, those chemicals tend to be highly addictive, so this is a really good dinner conversation.
  670. 57:52We can talk about it, right?
  671. 57:54But actually breaking through, that's, I think, when you free yourself from the chains of those emotions that we memorize, when we actually break through, when we remove
  672. 58:08that mind out of the body, when we break the emotion that's trapped in physical flesh and the body's liberated.
  673. 58:15That's true self-love.
  674. 58:17That's true joy.
  675. 58:18It's the liberation of energy.
  676. 58:19So the anger that once was in there, the hatred that was once in there, the prejudice that was once in there is transformed.
  677. 58:24It's transmuted into joy.
  678. 58:26And it's the same energy, but it just has a different spin.
  679. 58:30And so no one can do that for you.
  680. 58:35That isn't something where someone waves a wand and then it happens.
  681. 58:39You have to actually be willing to be uncomfortable
  682. 58:43as you break that addiction and be okay with it.
  683. 58:46And then the moment the body's liberated and you feel that expansion, that's the natural state of being.
  684. 58:52Now you say, I love myself so much because I went further than I thought I could go.
  685. 58:59I transcended some limitation about myself in the way I think, in the way I act, in the way I feel.
  686. 59:06That's the personality, that's the identity.
  687. 59:09Changing one of those things
  688. 59:12Really changing, and not just like changing your mind like I want vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate ice cream, but truly changing something that changes your neurology or neurocircuitry, changes the chemistry, which is your emotions that signal the gene that begins to change your very expression of health and your very expression of life.
  689. 59:31I'm talking about when you make that emphatic declaration where you make that change, and it's undeniable.
  690. 59:41There's a biological, neurological, and quantum effect as a result of it.
  691. 59:47Well, I think I flirt primarily with the idea of how subjective mind has an effect on the objective world.
  692. 59:54Newtonian physics is about cause and effect.
  693. 59:57It's about something outside of you fundamentally changing something inside of you.
  694. 1:00:02We are an expression or a reflection of the environment.
  695. 1:00:07As long as the environment is influencing how we're thinking and feeling, we can only be as great as the environment.
  696. 1:00:14And if we're thinking and feeling equal to the environment, we could only create more of the same environment.
  697. 1:00:20You know, the idea that we can change something inside of us, in our consciousness, in our thoughts, and in our feelings.
  698. 1:00:28and be able to memorize both neurologically in our brain and hardwire that information, install hardware and condition the body emotionally to be a mind.
  699. 1:00:39So mind and body are working together.
  700. 1:00:42If we're able to maintain that modified state of being then
  701. 1:00:46there should be some evidence outside of us.
  702. 1:00:48So instead of cause and effect, I always love the idea of causing effects.
  703. 1:00:54And to cause an effect.
  704. 1:00:56So the quantum model says you can cause an effect.
  705. 1:00:59And so I think where we get stuck with that is the idea that
  706. 1:01:04that it has to be predictable, that we should be able to know how it's going to happen.
  707. 1:01:09And that is, I think, our biggest error, because we can never control the outcome of the unpredictable.
  708. 1:01:15That's the quantum model.
  709. 1:01:16It has to be uncertain.
  710. 1:01:17It has to come in a way that we least expect, that surprises us.
  711. 1:01:23that leaves no doubt that what we did inside of us produced some effect outside of us.
  712. 1:01:28And when you begin to have those small synchronicities at first and then they turn into larger and larger events and you experience that
  713. 1:01:37That awe and that wonder or that joy and appreciation for being alive, I think that's the natural state of being.
  714. 1:01:45I think that's having that kind of sensibility coming from within us instead of needing something outside of us to change our state.
  715. 1:01:58To learn how to reprogram your mind for wealth with Bruce Lipton, check the video right there next to me.
  716. 1:02:03I think you'll love it.
  717. 1:02:04Continue to believe, and I'll see you there.
  718. 1:02:06It is simply impossible to achieve long-term health and happiness if you hate yourself.
  719. 1:02:11100%.
  720. 1:02:11This is so important because that was, I have a memory of a point in my life where that changed just like, boom, just like somebody turned the switch.
