- 0:55the training okay to help you pass your
- 0:59interview at the first attempt I will
- 1:01cover the following three things in this
- 1:04training session number one I will teach
- 1:08you how to easily overcome interview
- 1:12nerves and anxiety one of the main
- 1:15reasons why people fail their interviews
- 1:18is because they get so nervous they then
- 1:21can't perform to the best of their
- 1:24abilities number two I will then explain
- 1:27how you are going to be a obessed during
- 1:31your interview if you understand how the
- 1:34hiring manager is going to score you it
- 1:37makes it far easier for you to pass and
- 1:40then finally number three I will give
- 1:43you brilliant answers to the most common
- 1:46interview questions so as I previously
- 1:50stated the number one reason why people
- 1:53fail their interviews is because they
- 1:56get so nervous there is absolutely no
- 2:00reason why you should be nervous let me
- 2:03explain why always remember this an
- 2:07interview is simply a meeting between
- 2:10you and a potential employer to find out
- 2:14whether you have the skills and
- 2:16knowledge to do the job properly and to
- 2:19also find out whether you want to work
- 2:22for the company once you start treating
- 2:25your interview as a meeting your nerves
- 2:29will reduce significantly and remember
- 2:32this also if you don't get offered the
- 2:34job although I believe you will after
- 2:37watching this video there will be
- 2:40another opportunity for you right around
- 2:43the corner and also remember that it's
- 2:46actually good to be slightly nervous at
- 2:49your interview because it tells the
- 2:51hiring manager you care and here's a
- 2:55really good tip to implement right at
- 2:58the start of your job interview once you
- 3:01are sat down in the interview chair or
- 3:04if it's an online interview and the
- 3:07interview starts say this this will help
- 3:10reduce interview neres thank you for
- 3:13this opportunity although I am nervous I
- 3:17have been looking forward to the
- 3:19interview and I'm excited about the
- 3:22prospect of working for your company you
- 3:25are saying to the hiring manager I am
- 3:27nervous but I am excited by telling them
- 3:31you are slightly nervous again that will
- 3:34help reduce interview nerves okay in the
- 3:38next section of this training video I am
- 3:41going to tell you how you will be
- 3:44assessed during the interview remember
- 3:47if you know how the hiring manager is
- 3:50going to score you it makes it far
- 3:52easier for you to get the job offer
- 3:56during your interview you will be
- 3:58assessed against
- 4:00five things make sure you write these
- 4:03down number one you will be assessed
- 4:07against your communication skills
- 4:10therefore I strongly recommend you
- 4:13practice your answer to the first
- 4:16question tell me about yourself before
- 4:19your interview right at the very start
- 4:22the horing manager is going to say
- 4:24welcome to the interview please tell me
- 4:27about yourself if you practice your
- 4:29answer answer again that will help
- 4:31reduce interview nerves but more
- 4:34importantly it will tell a hiring
- 4:36manager you have good and confident
- 4:39communication skills the second area you
- 4:43are going to be assessed against is
- 4:46personal standards now lots of people
- 4:49say on this channel oh you don't need to
- 4:52wear a smart outfit at your interview
- 4:55that is not true you are going to be
- 4:58assessed against personal standards
- 5:00therefore make sure you dress
- 5:03professionally for your interview
- 5:05because it tells the hiring manager you
- 5:08have high standards and again that you
- 5:11care the third thing you are going to be
- 5:14assessed against is your passion and
- 5:18motivation make sure you demonstrate a
- 5:21genuine love for your work and a desire
- 5:25to make a positive impact on the company
- 5:29for example Le look at me how I present
- 5:32my videos I am extremely passionate
- 5:35about helping people like you pass their
- 5:38job interviews make sure you demonstrate
- 5:40a similar level of passion at your
- 5:44interview the fourth thing you will be
- 5:46assessed against is your knowledge of
- 5:49the company this is really important the
- 5:53majority of candidates know very little
- 5:56about the company they are being
- 5:57interviewed to work at they end up
- 6:00failing as a result make sure you do the
- 6:04following things before your interview
- 6:06you are going to research the company by
- 6:10having a look at their website about us
- 6:13page find out what they actually do the
- 6:16industry they operate in and also the
- 6:20products and services they sell number
- 6:22two follow them on social media so you
- 6:27are aware of their latest news stories
- 6:31and finally make sure you read about the
- 6:34company's Mission and their values by
- 6:37doing a little bit of research before
- 6:39your interview it empowers you to answer
- 6:42the interview question why do you want
- 6:44to work for us the fifth thing you are
- 6:48going to be assessed against is your
- 6:50competence levels your ability to do the
- 6:54job properly so the interviewer wants to
- 6:57know whether you have the skills
- 6:59knowledge and experience to carry out
- 7:02your tasks on time and to the required
- 7:06standard now the most common
- 7:08competencies assessed during interviews
- 7:11are teamwork which is essentially your
- 7:15ability to work closely with co-workers
- 7:18your problem solving skills and I
- 7:21recommend you say in your interview that
- 7:23you are the type of person who takes
- 7:26ownership of problems when they occur
- 7:29you will also potentially be assessed
- 7:31against customer and client service and
- 7:34also resilience which is your ability to
- 7:38overcome challenges in the workplace
- 7:42whenever they occur now to find out the
- 7:46competencies that you will be assessed
- 7:48against at your own interview make sure
- 7:51you read the job description on the job
- 7:55description there will be a list of
- 7:57essential criteria that is required to
- 8:01maintain competency in the role okay in
- 8:05the next section of This brilliant
- 8:07training video I am going to give you
- 8:10top answers to the most common and
- 8:14difficult interview questions again

- 15:28any weaknesses this question is
- 15:31assessing self-awareness for example you

- 15:46should you give let me give you the
- 15:48perfect answer what is your biggest
- 15:50weakness here we go one of my biggest
- 15:53weaknesses has been my reluctance to
- 15:56delegate tasks I've often felt that by
- 16:00handling everything myself I could
- 16:03ensure the best outcomes however I've
- 16:06come to realize that this approach is
- 16:09not always efficient and can limit both
- 16:12my productivity and the growth of my
- 16:15team to address this I've been actively
- 16:19working on improving my delegation
- 16:22skills I've started identifying tasks
- 16:26that can be confidently entrusted to
- 16:28colleagues while providing clear
- 16:30instructions and guidance that is a
- 16:33great weakness the next interview
- 16:36question I want to help you answer is
- 16:39how do you handle conflict with a
- 16:42coworker again this is the type of
- 16:45question where lots of candidates fail
- 16:48their interviews on because they say If
- 16:51Ever I experience a conflict with a
- 16:53coworker I tell my manager about it
- 16:56don't say that this question is being
- 16:59asked to make sure you can get on with
- 17:01your co-workers and more importantly
- 17:04when conflict occurs you take ownership
- 17:07of it to achieve a successful resolution
- 17:11here is the perfect answer for you to
- 17:14write down how do you handle conflict
- 17:16with a coworker here we go I handle
- 17:19conflict quickly and confidently because
- 17:22I understand it can hinder A team's
- 17:26progress first I assess my words and
- 17:29actions to ensure I am not the cause
- 17:33next I meet privately with my coworker
- 17:36to ascertain their views as to why the
- 17:39conflict has occurred and how they feel
- 17:43it can be resolved and finally I hold
- 17:47open and honest conversations with my
- 17:49coworker to find an amicable solution to
- 17:53ensure the team can move forward quickly
- 17:57that is a smart and professional answer
- 18:00that will score highly with any hiring
- 18:03manager interview question number seven
