How to never make less than $30,000 a month — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:02So, you started making a bit of money
- 0:04and
- 0:05you're feeling good about yourself.
- 0:08You should you should feel good about
- 0:10yourself. Perhaps you're spending more
- 0:13and you feel like you're doing the right
- 0:16thing cuz you're still technically
- 0:18doubling down in the business,
- 0:22but you know that the question deep down
- 0:25in your mind is, am I going to be able
- 0:26to do this again?
- 0:28I just had a good month. How do I do it
- 0:30again? Where are the next clients going
- 0:33to come from? Where are the next sales
- 0:35going to come from? I know exactly where
- 0:36you're at. Perhaps you just hit your
- 0:39first 30k month or wherever it might be,
- 0:43give or take a few thousand. You came up
- 0:45on a good sum of money
- 0:47and amidst all the luxury, perhaps
- 0:49you're planning vacations, perhaps
- 0:51you're investing in trying to do what
- 0:53you think the right thing is, amidst all
- 0:55of that, there's one thing that's
- 0:56keeping you up at night. And it's again
- 0:59where
- 1:01are the next round of sales going to
- 1:02come from?
- 1:05And so that high that you have
- 1:10with the money that came from the money
- 1:12is starting to dwindle day by day and
- 1:15reality starting to set in that it
- 1:17doesn't matter what you did yesterday or
- 1:20last week. The only thing that matters
- 1:21is what you're doing right now and if
- 1:24you're able to do it again.
- 1:27And so typically these videos are about
- 1:31scaling
- 1:32and how to make more money,
- 1:35but this time I'm just trying to make
- 1:37sure that
- 1:39you never stop being rich. I'm trying to
- 1:42make sure that you never go back to
- 1:44being broke. I'm trying to make sure
- 1:45that you never not make anything less
- 1:48than 30k a month and that you never stop
- 1:51living a beautiful life and that you're
- 1:53able to continue enjoying the luxuries
- 1:57that come with making a lot of money.
- 2:00And so now you might be asking why 30k a
- 2:03month? What is so special about 30k a
- 2:06month?
- 2:08Nothing really.
- 2:10You know, so often we take these
- 2:13things that people say on YouTube as
- 2:15law.
- 2:17And I'll be the first person to admit
- 2:18that you shouldn't take my word as law.
- 2:20This is just a general guideline because
- 2:22I understand very very intimately how my
- 2:25life changed at each of these different
- 2:27revenue milestones. First dollar, first
- 2:3010k a month, 20k month, 30k month, 40k
- 2:33month, 50k month, 60k month, 70k a
- 2:34month, so on and so forth.
- 2:37And there was something about 30K a
- 2:39month that allowed me to actually have
- 2:42a plethora of choices in my life
- 2:47that I didn't necessarily have at 10K a
- 2:49month.
- 2:52It's like I could do the things I
- 2:53thought I I could do at 10K a month, but
- 2:55I could actually do them at 30K a month
- 2:56cuz you spend a few dollars here and
- 2:58there, you go broke. Don't get me wrong,
- 3:02you might be making some good money, but
- 3:03you have no idea how close to being
- 3:05broke you are. And I don't want you to
- 3:06necessarily think that way. I just want
- 3:08you to approach this with some humility
- 3:12because
- 3:13it's about not doing stupid stuff. So
- 3:16much about getting rich and getting
- 3:18richer and scaling is about not doing
- 3:20stupid things when you get the money.
- 3:24And the reason why you're starting to
- 3:25get some money now or you're about to
- 3:27come up on some real money, what what
- 3:29like you think this is real money now,
- 3:32just wait.
- 3:34The the reason why you're able why why
- 3:37you're coming up on this sum of capital
- 3:41is because you're being trusted
- 3:45to be a steward of this capital. You're
- 3:48being trusted to allocate this money
- 3:50properly.
- 3:54Money doesn't come to those who do
- 3:56stupid stuff with it. And if it does, it
- 3:57doesn't last very long. A fool and his
- 4:00money are soon departed. I'm sure you've
- 4:01heard that before.
- 4:04And so I'm trying to, as someone who has
- 4:07gotten rich and gone broke and gotten
- 4:08rich and gone broke and gotten rich, I'm
- 4:10trying to make sure that you avoid doing
- 4:12the stupid things that you may not be
- 4:13able to see that are coming
- 4:16sometimes innocently. Typically, the
- 4:18things that take us back
- 4:21are to to where we started are a result
- 4:25of our own ignorance. Now,
- 4:27don't get me wrong, a true entrepreneur
- 4:30is never afraid to go broke. A true
- 4:32entrepreneur is never afraid to fail.
- 4:35And part of your cockiness or arrogance
- 4:37might come from that part of the the
- 4:40same thing that fuels your ego from an
- 4:42arrogance point of view is the same
- 4:44thing that fuels your ego from a
- 4:45confidence point of view. So I'm not too
- 4:48concerned about this piece.
- 4:52That being said,
- 4:55if you can just be receptive as to all
- 4:56the things we're going to discuss in
- 4:57this video, I think you'll be just fine.
- 5:00And I think in the event that you do
- 5:02fall flat, you'll recognize that there
- 5:05is no such thing as failure until you
- 5:07decide to quit. And that if you do fall
- 5:09flat in that process of falling
- 5:14was a lesson that you had to learn
- 5:20and there was no way around it. You were
- 5:22going to have to learn that lesson one
- 5:23way or another.
- 5:25So there is no such thing as failure.
- 5:27But now, let's let's get into how to
- 5:30never make less than 30K a month.
- 5:35And I'm going to approach this from the
- 5:37standpoint of
- 5:41just giving you the benefit of the doubt
- 5:42that you're smart enough.
- 5:44Because up until this point in time, up
- 5:46until this 30k, like to get to 30K a
- 5:49month, it's all volume. If you're if if
- 5:51in the off chance you're not at 30K a
- 5:53month, you are not doing enough volume.
- 5:55And that's for for another video. I'm
- 5:57not going to babysit you in this video.
- 5:59But leading up to 30K a month in a
- 6:01nutshell, it's volume. Put yourself out
- 6:03there, promote yourself, and do more
- 6:04volume. Point blank period. Charge a
- 6:07good amount. Cool. That being said,
- 6:12I want you to take a very like
- 6:15there there the the idea of having to
- 6:17work on a business for
- 6:2112, 14, 16 hours a day. I think that is
- 6:24a bit dated. And I
- 6:28I that's very hypoc like it's it's crazy
- 6:30coming from me cuz I'm the one who
- 6:31champions you know up until very
- 6:34recently I've been champion championing
- 6:35working a lot but I've actually taken a
- 6:37very different approach and I and I'll
- 6:38I'll show you how this relates to you in
- 6:40a second. I've taken a very different
- 6:42approach to business in that I
- 6:43understand that I operate in seasons
- 6:46almost like a lion does seasons and
- 6:48periods of rest and then seasons or
- 6:51periods of great charge and relentlessly
- 6:54moving forward and well you're always
- 6:56moving forward but you understand what I
- 6:57mean there's like a there's like a
- 6:58blossoming summer season and then
- 7:00there's a winter season hibernation and
- 7:03I I I
- 7:05think that it's a very healthy practice
- 7:06for you to understand how you operate
- 7:09and then understand that you can
- 7:11probably get a lot more done by doing
- 7:14less. You might think you're doing a
- 7:16lot, but you're maybe you're probably
- 7:17not. There's probably one set of core
- 7:20activities that is driving all of the
- 7:22sales in your business. What I need you
- 7:24to do is figure out what that is. Figure
- 7:26out what's actually driving the sales
- 7:28and never stop doing that.
- 7:31if if you can commit to finding out
- 7:34what's actually driving the sales and
- 7:36it's probably the content you're putting
- 7:38out
- 7:40or it's probably
- 7:43the outreach that you're doing. Figure
- 7:46out what that core activity is and do
- 7:49not stop like that has to be the first
- 7:51thing you do in your day
- 7:54in or around any sort of physical
- 7:56fitness routine. So you can what I mean
- 7:58by that is go to the gym first then do
- 8:01the work or do the work before going to
- 8:03the gym doesn't matter. Point being in
- 8:05terms of priority you have to do the
- 8:08thing that keeps your business alive.
- 8:11So
- 8:14I built a multi-6figure health and
- 8:16wellness coaching business.
- 8:21There's a lot of high performance
- 8:22coaching for CEOs, executives,
- 8:24entrepreneurs, business owners.
- 8:28And how I was getting sales was by
- 8:30posting content on Instagram, Instagram
- 8:32and Tik Tok, but primarily Instagram. I
- 8:35was po I had a requirement of posting
- 8:38three to five times a day every single
- 8:39day. And there will get to a point, my
- 8:42friend, where it becomes very
- 8:44repetitive.
- 8:46It gets to a point where it becomes very
- 8:48repetitive and there is no glamour to
- 8:50what you're doing.
- 8:55And in that period, you're going to
- 8:57realize that business isn't supposed to
- 8:59be fun all the time and it's not going
- 9:02to be fun all the time. It's more so
- 9:04about duty.
- 9:07What kind of life do you want? And how
- 9:09do you make sure that even in the
- 9:11seasons where you
- 9:13are hibernating
- 9:16where you can't stand to create more
- 9:18content or you can't stand to do more
- 9:20outreach?
- 9:22How do we put things in place to where
- 9:25that keeps going anyway? And so now we
- 9:28get into discussions of perhaps it's
- 9:30time to hire someone or in the day and
- 9:32age of AI, perhaps it's time to
- 9:33integrate an AI employee into the
- 9:35business.
- 9:37fantastic idea. How about we batch
- 9:40record content? Because what I hated
- 9:44when I was scaling that health and
- 9:45wellness coaching business is going on
- 9:48vacation and realizing I still had to
- 9:50make content every day. It didn't feel
- 9:52like I was on vacation. Now I've built
- 9:54this business up in a place where I
- 9:55don't need to be on YouTube ever. I can
- 9:58take a two week break
- 10:00and be just fine. I can take a month,
- 10:02two months off and just and be just
- 10:04fine. And so I want you now at the
- 10:06height of in this rush and exhilaration
- 10:10of making money, I want you to start
- 10:13thinking about these things
- 10:16because your true retirement fund won't
- 10:19come from putting or investing capital
- 10:22in the S&P 500.
- 10:25That's cool if you want to retire at 60.
- 10:28But if you want to put yourself, if you
- 10:30want to put yourself in a position to
- 10:31where you can [music] take time off of
- 10:34your business,
- 10:36if you want to turn this into a real
- 10:38operation and not just a job you made
- 10:39for yourself, if you want to experience
- 10:41what a beautiful life actually looks
- 10:42like, the one you came here to create
- 10:44when you decided to start a business,
- 10:47then we need to start thinking about
- 10:48these things.
- 10:51And that might look like
- 10:54gamifying things to where you can
- 10:56actually just convince yourself or trick
- 10:58yourself into doing the amount of work
- 10:59or the kind of work necessary to sustain
- 11:01this thing.
- 11:04Count the reps. Do whatever you got to
- 11:06do. Point being, put measures in place
- 11:08that allow you to continue this
- 11:11even in your season of hibernation.
- 11:14There is only one thing in your business
- 11:16that that is driving everything else.
- 11:19There's only one thing in the business
- 11:20that matters, especially if you're at
- 11:2230K a month. Find it and keep doing it.
- 11:27And what will happen is you will be
- 11:29twice as productive
- 11:32with a fraction of the work. So I can
- 11:36work two hours a day,
- 11:41three if I want to tend to emails and
- 11:42write some newsletters.
- 11:46Before the sun rises, I can be done my
- 11:48workday.
- 11:54And that's a beautiful life.
- 11:58I realized a few days ago
- 12:02that the one thing that drives my
- 12:04business right now are YouTube videos.
- 12:10And the moment I realized that,
- 12:14I completely ignored everything else
- 12:16that needed to be done. I complet I took
- 12:18all that stuff and put it on a a a
- 12:22secondary tier of priority and I just
- 12:25started doing YouTube videos
- 12:28knowing that if I do just this, I don't
- 12:30have to worry about a landing page. I
- 12:32don't have to worry about a VSSL. I
- 12:33don't have to worry about, you know,
- 12:36practicing for sales calls. I don't have
- 12:38to worry about client management. All I
- 12:41have to do is make sure I get this done
- 12:43and then I can do I can build a
- 12:45multi-figure business in just two hours
- 12:48a day, three hours a day, four hours a
- 12:49day and that's it. That's the core of
- 12:53your business and the truth of your
- 12:54business and you need to find out what
- 12:55that is.
- 12:58The the issue with making money is it
- 13:04plays around with our focus. And so what
- 13:07happens is and and I see this I saw this
- 13:09in my old self and and you might notice
- 13:11this for you too is we start to become
- 13:14we start to become externally focused.
- 13:15Oh my goodness look how much money I'm
- 13:17making. You need to and and this will be
- 13:21a topic in another video but you're
- 13:23going to need to breathe for a bit
- 13:27and normalize this in your head as
- 13:30fastible as fast as possible
- 13:32and actually stop paying attention to
- 13:34how much money you're making.
- 13:37That's actually a very healthy practice.
- 13:40One of one of the healthiest things I do
- 13:43is not obsess over how much money I
- 13:46make. And I really do not even like to
- 13:49to to brag about it or talk about it. It
- 13:51has to be normalized.
- 13:53And if you look at the people, the
- 13:55wealthiest people in the world, they're
- 13:56not they're not they're not here talking
- 13:59about, you know, I made this much money
- 14:00a month. Like I I might do that for some
- 14:02social proof, but that's about it.
- 14:08know
- 14:10that when you receive money again,
- 14:13you're being entrusted with it.
- 14:16Because
- 14:19there was there was something about the
- 14:20way the stars aligned where they thought
- 14:22that you were now ready for this
- 14:25capital.
- 14:28One of the things that might help you as
- 14:29well is committing to a goal or a time
- 14:32duration.
- 14:34So
- 14:37when you're receiving a lot of money,
- 14:39what's happening right now is your brain
- 14:40is receiving an influx of dopamine.
- 14:43And you may not realize it, but like
- 14:45like life seems fun. You can go here,
- 14:48you can you're you're shopping online,
- 14:51you're buying things, you're it's this
- 14:52influx of dopamine. What happens if you
- 14:55don't make that same amount same amount
- 14:58of money next month is you will start to
- 14:59panic.
- 15:01Your brain, your central nervous system
- 15:03is going to you're going to feel it.
- 15:05You're going to start seeing signs
- 15:06because you're focused on the money
- 15:08rather than being the person rather than
- 15:12the reps that got you that money in the
- 15:14first place. If you keep doing the reps,
- 15:16you might dip down next month, but it
- 15:17you'll pick it back up. Promise. If you
- 15:21focus on the input, the output that you
- 15:23receive will take care of itself.
- 15:26And so when when you stop getting the
- 15:28same amount of dopamine again, the
- 15:30business seems less fun.
- 15:33The work seems less fun.
- 15:35It's it's it's it's funny. Now
- 15:39that we're talking about
- 15:41business and fun
- 15:46that being said.
- 15:49So one thing
- 15:52in terms of the gamification of
- 15:53entrepreneurship and and doing whatever
- 15:55it takes to allow yourself to keep
- 15:56continuing this momentum that you have
- 15:58is to commit to a goal. Like sure you
- 16:00might have just hit your first 20 30k
- 16:02month. Cool.
- 16:04How about we commit to a goal of having
- 16:07a h 100red grand in your bank account?
- 16:12And you don't look up or you don't start
- 16:14spending money until you have that.
- 16:17How about you commit to a time duration
- 16:19that says, you know what, for for the
- 16:21next two weeks, I'm going to
- 16:24do x amount of input every single day or
- 16:28I'm not going to stop doing what I'm
- 16:29doing for
- 16:31the next 3 months.
- 16:34These are very simple ways
- 16:37to manage yourself as an entrepreneur.
- 16:39And what you'll find is
- 16:42entrepreneurship is really just the act
- 16:45of self-management. It's all about how
- 16:47well you can manage yourself. Can you
- 16:49can you somehow convince yourself to
- 16:52keep doing the things you need to do
- 16:53even when it's boring?
- 16:56Right? And so I think about my my old
- 16:59self and
- 17:04I I I I come across a lot of beginners
- 17:06as well who are trying to get into
- 17:08business. And the moment
- 17:12the honeymoon phase is over or the
- 17:15moment where they might not be making as
- 17:18much money, they start to panic. And so
- 17:21much of this is about becoming. It's
- 17:23about being.
- 17:26If you go to the gym every single day
- 17:31or you go to the gym 5 days a whatever
- 17:33it is, if if you can if you commit to a
- 17:36consistent schedule and a routine, you
- 17:37will get bigger or you will if if you're
- 17:39trying to put on muscle or you will lose
- 17:42weight, you'll lose body fat. It just
- 17:44happens. But you need to keep
- 17:48going for those inputs. The toughest
- 17:51thing about generating capital is
- 17:54sometimes you can't see how it's taking
- 17:56shape in the background of all this, but
- 17:58it is.
- 18:00The next thing I need you to do is
- 18:02surround yourself with people who are
- 18:03making a lot more money than you. Like
- 18:05double the amount of money that you're
- 18:07making.
- 18:08So, you're at 30K a month in and around
- 18:10that range. Get around someone who's
- 18:12making 50, 60K a month. Get around
- 18:15someone who's making a million dollars a
- 18:16year.
- 18:18You need to you need to feel like there
- 18:21is something to achieve again.
- 18:25And that goes hand inhand with
- 18:26normalizing this. So I remember
- 18:31coming up on my first big sum of money
- 18:32in my health and wellness coaching
- 18:34business. This is before the AI and the
- 18:36a agency and all that.
- 18:39When I came up on my first big sum of
- 18:41money, I spent like crazy
- 18:45luxury pen houses and watches and
- 18:47cardias and Louis Vuitton. I have a
- 18:49picture somewhere. I remember going
- 18:52shopping and and getting a Monontlair
- 18:54coat and a bunch of Louis Vuitton stuff.
- 18:55I have a picture somewhere somewhere.
- 18:59And I put all the shopping bags on a bed
- 19:01and the entire bed was full with
- 19:03designer shopping bags.
- 19:05and I took a picture and I I put it on
- 19:07my Instagram story and that time on that
- 19:09Instagram account I had over 100,000
- 19:11followers and you know I felt like the
- 19:12man.
- 19:14Of course I did.
- 19:17But little did I realize
- 19:20that I wasn't nurturing the part of me
- 19:22that actually made the money in the
- 19:24first place.
- 19:26I was nurturing. I I was I was allowing
- 19:29myself to become externally validated
- 19:32and and I was falling in love with the
- 19:34external outer
- 19:36chaos [clears throat]
- 19:41rather than falling in love
- 19:44with the act of doing.
- 19:48And when that happened,
- 19:51instead of scaling and growing, there
- 19:54was a bit of disruption in that process
- 19:56until I was able to snap myself back
- 19:57into place. But the one thing that did
- 19:59change all of this, and then the one
- 20:01thing that did save myself
- 20:07was getting around people who were
- 20:08making substantially more money than I
- 20:10was. I'm talking
- 20:11absurd amounts of money,
- 20:15like hundreds of millions of dollars.
- 20:19you know, paying for coaching, paying
- 20:21for mentorship, so on so forth. That's
- 20:23that's the one thing that that's one of
- 20:25the key things that I wish I had done
- 20:27sooner
- 20:29because it allows you to normalize
- 20:33what's happening right now,
- 20:35which is really important. The moment
- 20:37you feel
- 20:40like
- 20:42you're on top of the world, it's almost
- 20:44like your descent. Like that, that's
- 20:45when your descent. You give yourself
- 20:47permission to descend again.
- 20:49And you'll find that the greatest the
- 20:51greatest warriors
- 20:54in the the realm of entrepreneurship
- 20:58are always trying to mold themselves
- 21:00into something new. There's always this
- 21:02ascension. There's they are relentlessly
- 21:04moving forward.
- 21:11Now, it took you long enough to get to
- 21:13this place of making money.
- 21:19And what you'll find is that there will
- 21:21be a lot of temptation to try new things
- 21:24because you think you're safe and you
- 21:27you are
- 21:29in that you have the skill now.
- 21:32But again, remember so much of this is
- 21:34not being stupid.
- 21:37So, you're going to be attemp you're
- 21:38going to be tempted to try new things.
- 21:39You're going to be tempted to put new
- 21:40offers into the market.
- 21:44You're going to be tempted to work with
- 21:46more sophisticated clients. You're going
- 21:48to want to start charging more and
- 21:49working with bigger clients and doing
- 21:51bigger deals. Typical.
- 21:57And that is a huge mistake.
- 22:01If you've been able to generate all this
- 22:03money, you don't have to change
- 22:07much.
- 22:12on route to a million dollars a year
- 22:13which is let's 80k it's just north of
- 22:1680k a month and you can say 80 to 100k a
- 22:18month it's really again don't take this
- 22:21as absolute but in and around that upper
- 22:23echelon range
- 22:26to get there you only have to again
- 22:28figure out what's actually driving the
- 22:29sales and do more of that you don't have
- 22:32to change the business you rarely have
- 22:34to change the business rarely unless
- 22:35you've just built it
- 22:39Do not change what's working.
- 22:44Do not change what's working.
- 22:52Now, interestingly enough, like the one
- 22:54of the biggest levers you can pull is
- 22:56pricing. And I talk a lot about premium
- 22:57offers and things like that. And and
- 23:00when business owners come to me
- 23:02specific, you know, especially from
- 23:04YouTube for mentorship or guidance,
- 23:08looking to scale their business, one of
- 23:09the first things I look at is price. And
- 23:12typically, you can charge two to three
- 23:13times as much as you're charging without
- 23:15changing anything else about the
- 23:16business. typically.
- 23:19And that's about that's one of the only
- 23:21things I would change.
- 23:24We may change how you're getting
- 23:26clients. Maybe you can't rely on
- 23:28referrals. And if you are relying on
- 23:29referrals, maybe we can look at some
- 23:33sort of referral compensation system.
- 23:35But that being said, you very rarely
- 23:37want to change what's working.
- 23:40And you're going to be tempted. And all
- 23:42of your ideas are going to sound really
- 23:43good in your mind, but don't do that.
- 23:50It's almost like at this point in
- 23:53business, you need to clo close your
- 23:56eyes
- 23:58and ignore everything that's happening
- 24:02and don't change anything about the way
- 24:04you are operating or your lifestyle or
- 24:07who you are in energetic exchange with.
- 24:09The only things we should be looking at
- 24:11is perhaps how we can introduce more
- 24:14leverage and all the things we can stop
- 24:16doing so that it opens up ourselves now
- 24:20to double down on the the actual one
- 24:23thing. The one thing the one thing like
- 24:25find the one thing and stop like stop
- 24:28doing all the other fluff in the
- 24:30business.
- 24:34It is it is far better to double down
- 24:38on one client acquisition channel for
- 24:41example than to exist on five or six and
- 24:44just and and and
- 24:46to really just dominate on that one
- 24:49channel.
- 24:52Find what's working
- 24:59now. If you're starting to generate
- 25:01money, which is which is which is great
- 25:08in this in in on the topic of
- 25:09distractions,
- 25:11there's going to be again this
- 25:12temptation to chase trends. So, you
- 25:14might see me on here talking about AI
- 25:18and whatever the next buzzword is.
- 25:21I do that very consciously
- 25:24and cautiously.
- 25:28It is better to exist in a market of
- 25:30your own than to chase trends. So for
- 25:32example, if you are running some
- 25:34coaching business or some agency or
- 25:36whatever it might be that does this left
- 25:39field thing,
- 25:45do not get into AI for the sake just
- 25:47because AI is hot.
- 25:51If you are in AI cold email, you're
- 25:54doing AI outbound for businesses. Do not
- 25:56get into AI chat bots because you think
- 25:58AI chat bots are hot.
- 26:01If you and and and this this only
- 26:03applies if you already have notoriety
- 26:05for the thing. If you're already
- 26:06generating capital with the thing in the
- 26:09off chance that you're starting from
- 26:10scratch, then go go find whatever is
- 26:12hot. It's in your best interest to do
- 26:14so.
- 26:17That being said, like it's better to
- 26:18it's better to be
- 26:21uncommon.
- 26:25And funny enough, the more uncommon you
- 26:27are, the more you will get paid. The
- 26:29more you can put yourself in and and
- 26:31double down into this weird part of you
- 26:37that perhaps you're not able to talk
- 26:39about in social settings or maybe you're
- 26:40hiding from your, you know, friend group
- 26:43or whatever it is. You should lean into
- 26:44that all the way. You should you should
- 26:46double down on all that
- 26:49because that's what's going to get you
- 26:50paid.
- 26:52And you'll find that getting to the next
- 26:53level of revenue is really and and each
- 26:55stage of revenue is just about giving
- 26:58yourself permission
- 27:01to be more of yourself.
- 27:05to
- 27:08and there's a better word for this but
- 27:10to em oh there we go to embrace all the
- 27:13parts of you that make you you.
- 27:19And so when I was starting when I was
- 27:21starting Vintale I had no business being
- 27:24doing cold email and getting into AI.
- 27:28Like sure I had gone to a cyber security
- 27:30boot camp and yeah fine got a few
- 27:32certifications but like
- 27:37I had no real business getting into cold
- 27:40email.
- 27:49Sometimes it's about giving yourself
- 27:51permission to double down
- 27:56and just be in a market of your own. And
- 27:58and when I started to so so I had no
- 28:01business being being there, there was
- 28:03nobody who really looked like me that I
- 28:06could really look to for guidance.
- 28:08Not that that really matters, but I'm
- 28:10just saying on the topic of being
- 28:11uncommon.
- 28:14And I took that as a sign to I took that
- 28:18as a green light to promote myself even
- 28:20further.
- 28:24I also went on Tik Tok and because I
- 28:25realized that there was nobody who
- 28:27looked like me who was also talking
- 28:28about cold email on Tik Tok. So I
- 28:31started doing Tik Toks. I try like you
- 28:34need to you like think about the things
- 28:36that make you uncommon and double down
- 28:38into those. That's how we're going to
- 28:39get you from 30 to 60k a month. That's
- 28:43how we're going to double your business.
- 28:44It's by identifying the parts of you
- 28:46that make you different and that's
- 28:47brand.
- 28:49That's the that's one of the things that
- 28:51actually en enhances everything else.
- 28:53Leverage. When we get to this point in
- 28:56in in wealth creation and revenue
- 28:58generation, we must think in terms of
- 29:00leverage.
- 29:02Sort of like how Nicola Tesla said, I
- 29:05hope it was Nicola Tesla said, if you
- 29:06want to understand the the universe,
- 29:08think in frequency. If you want to
- 29:09understand business, think in terms of
- 29:11leverage.
- 29:17Double down into the things that make
- 29:19you different and unique.
- 29:22Pay very close attention to what your
- 29:25clients like about you. Ask them.
- 29:28Administer feedback forms.
- 29:31Ask them why they gravitated towards
- 29:34your stuff, your content, your outreach,
- 29:36your DM, whatever it might be. Ask
- 29:40and then double down into that stuff.
- 29:45So, I was I I was putting out videos
- 29:49with myself in a hoodie
- 29:52talking about AI and cold email. There
- 29:54was nobody else on the internet doing
- 29:56that. Of course, I was going to cut
- 29:57through. Of course, I was going to make
- 29:59a ton of noise. Think about the things
- 30:01that make you different and lean into
- 30:03those. You will get paid for being
- 30:07uncommon. And it is better to exist in a
- 30:10market of your own than to chase trends.
- 30:11And you need to you need to start
- 30:12thinking about this now
- 30:16so that 30k a month becomes natural.
- 30:21You can get paid to exist
- 30:25if you do the work of figuring out the
- 30:27things that make you different.
- 30:32And so I started pitching these cold,
- 30:34you know, not even pitching, but I
- 30:36started putting myself out there
- 30:37documenting what I was doing with my AI
- 30:39agency and cold email and a lot of you
- 30:42guys were were around for this.
- 30:46But when I would get clients on calls
- 30:51because, you know, they fill out an
- 30:52application and they wanted to work with
- 30:54me either one-on-one or in a in a
- 30:57coaching setting or just a done for you
- 30:59offer.
- 31:02Sure, they were there for that, but what
- 31:04they really expressed was how much they
- 31:06liked my mindset videos
- 31:12and how much they they appreciated the
- 31:15transparency and authenticity that I was
- 31:17showing in my videos.
- 31:21And so, reflecting on that, that's when
- 31:24I realized that I just had to double
- 31:25down on putting that stuff on display.
- 31:30And so this is why I'm not afraid to
- 31:33pivot from an AI or tactic focused video
- 31:36to something more of a of mindset or
- 31:38founder psychology video or perhaps
- 31:40doing more long form videos to where it
- 31:42feels like you might, you know, you're
- 31:43spending time with someone who really
- 31:46understands you and not just the the
- 31:48money or the funnels or the VSSLs or the
- 31:51tactics or the AI or the cold email or
- 31:53whatever it might be, but the actual
- 31:54mindset behind it and the actual thing
- 31:56that's going to get you there.
- 32:00And so this is when your success and you
- 32:02know scaling the business if we want to
- 32:04talk about scaling now this is when it
- 32:06becomes very intentional and also very
- 32:08calculated and very strategic.
- 32:11And so if you can take like now you have
- 32:14tangible feedback from your audience
- 32:17from the marketplace on what they
- 32:18appreciate because you're making money
- 32:19now. So figure out why they're paying
- 32:22you and why they're gravitating towards
- 32:24you versus any other option on the
- 32:26market.
- 32:28And in that same breath, how can we
- 32:31continue? H how can you continue to make
- 32:33yourself different? Not make yourself
- 32:35different, but lean into the things that
- 32:37already make you different
- 32:44heavy.
- 32:48This is this is the stuff that makes you
- 32:49successful. This is the founder
- 32:51psychology.
- 32:54Don't worry. If you spend enough time
- 32:56binging my content and listening to me,
- 32:58you'll you'll be you'll be just fine.
- 33:00Like you won't you it's it becomes
- 33:03almost impossible
- 33:05to not to not to not make more money, to
- 33:08not get richer. Becomes almost
- 33:10impossible when you expose yourself to
- 33:12the right things.
- 33:16becomes almost impossible.
- 33:24There's so much to be said about
- 33:29wealth
- 33:32and it's it's near onetoone correlation
- 33:35with your ability to regulate your
- 33:37central nervous system. And that might
- 33:38be a video in itself. With that being
- 33:40said,
- 33:44you're about you're you're a few deep
- 33:46breaths away from being
- 33:49in that zone of focus that you need to
- 33:51be again
- 33:54to where this actually becomes very
- 33:55easy. And typically founders, like if
- 33:58you've made it this far in your journey,
- 34:00you probably already know what to do.
- 34:04You know what to do.
- 34:06You know how to not make less than 30k a
- 34:08month. If you've made it here, you know,
- 34:13it's not difficult.
- 34:16And if it feels difficult, it's probably
- 34:18because or if it feels like you're
- 34:19working really hard, it's probably
- 34:21because you're doing a lot of the fluff.
- 34:25You're doing a lot of the fluff that we
- 34:26talk about that doesn't that doesn't
- 34:28really matter.
- 34:32You're focused on making this
- 34:34presentation or doing this or building
- 34:36this webinar. I'll tell you right now, I
- 34:38can I
- 34:40can do a 50 grand in a day webinar
- 34:48on a little whiteboard
- 34:52or on a little micros like a a little
- 34:54Google Slides PowerPoint with no fancy
- 34:57edits. Why?
- 35:00Because the main thing is taken care of
- 35:03for myself. It's it's this. It's these
- 35:06videos. It's the trust builder. For you,
- 35:09it might be content. It might be the
- 35:10campaigns. So, when I was building up
- 35:12Vintascale, I realized that the only
- 35:14thing that mattered,
- 35:16the only thing that determined my
- 35:18ability to make revenue
- 35:20or to get results for my clients
- 35:24was just sending more emails.
- 35:27I like I've I've shown this before. I
- 35:29have I tracked every single day of
- 35:31building that agency for for most of the
- 35:33life of that agency.
- 35:35And
- 35:37I was working long 12, 14-hour days,
- 35:41sometimes 16 hours, no joke.
- 35:47And especially earlier on in building
- 35:49the agency, I realized that I wasn't
- 35:51really getting the results that I wanted
- 35:53to be getting, the results that I
- 35:56thought I should be seeing.
- 36:01And it got to a point where
- 36:05I realized that there was a pattern
- 36:10when I sent more emails or when I did
- 36:12more outreach, in other words,
- 36:15I got better results, I got more client
- 36:19calls and thus I got more clients.
- 36:23And I remember realizing and so so what
- 36:26what I what I started to do was I I
- 36:28would print out a calendar for the
- 36:29month. I have one right here, but it's
- 36:32sitting under my fan and I don't want to
- 36:34disturb the thing. I I was I started
- 36:37printing out a calendar for the month
- 36:39and jotting down on every day how many
- 36:42emails how much how much how many points
- 36:44of outreach I was doing every single
- 36:46day.
- 36:55And when I started doing that and
- 36:56holding myself accountable, things
- 36:59started to click. I started getting
- 37:01results. It was that simple.
- 37:05It was that simple. And so I think
- 37:13a lot of this is so much about
- 37:15perspective and like
- 37:20you you again again the good thing is
- 37:22you can make business become really
- 37:24easy.
- 37:26You're just going to have to do the work
- 37:27of figuring out what exactly
- 37:31is driving everything or what exactly
- 37:34the one thing is that is the highest
- 37:36leverage activity
- 37:39take that and never forget it no matter
- 37:41what business you go into. What is and
- 37:44I'm I'm always looking for this in my
- 37:46own business or in the business of a
- 37:48client.
- 37:51What is the highest leverage activity
- 37:53that you can do right now
- 37:57that will drive that that will that will
- 38:00fuel everything else?
- 38:04Out of all the 10 things you're doing
- 38:06every day, what are the one to two
- 38:08things? What's the 20% that accounts for
- 38:1080% of the results? and just do that.
- 38:16So, now let's talk about pricing.
- 38:20If you're making this kind of money, I
- 38:23find it very hard to believe that you're
- 38:26charging anything less than $2,000
- 38:28unless you're in some business like ecom
- 38:30or whatever it is, in which I can't
- 38:31really I can't really speak to at this
- 38:33point in time.
- 38:39When it comes to pricing, there's a
- 38:40there's a sweet spot.
- 38:43And I want you to think in terms of
- 38:44ranges.
- 38:46I get a lot of questions about like,
- 38:48hey, how much should I charge? Should I
- 38:49charge 1,700? I'm thinking of raising it
- 38:51to 2,200. Just know that there are like
- 38:54there's sensitivity ranges. So, someone
- 38:56who's comfortable paying you $1,000 is
- 38:59probably comfortable paying you anything
- 39:01between$1 and $3,000.
- 39:05Just know that.
- 39:07Like there's these sensitivity ranges in
- 39:09which like that person is probably going
- 39:10to is willing to pay you anything in
- 39:12that range. Going from 1500 to two grand
- 39:15will not will not hurt you.
- 39:19If we're on the topic of how to never
- 39:21make anything less than 30k a month,
- 39:23just know that there's typically a sweet
- 39:24spot.
- 39:28There's typically a sweet spot.
- 39:32That sweet spot I find is 5K to 9K to
- 39:36where
- 39:38you're not going to mess things up.
- 39:39You're still going to have there's still
- 39:41a substantial amount of people who are
- 39:42able to pay you without having to go and
- 39:45like remarket and reposition yourself.
- 39:49Five 5K to 9K typically typically does
- 39:52it and typically makes for a very a very
- 39:53beautiful life and a very affluent life.
- 40:00you can get away with charging 2K to 4K.
- 40:03That typically only works if if you are
- 40:05doing an abundance of outreach or an
- 40:09abundance of content or you have a viral
- 40:11moment.
- 40:12So, quick story time.
- 40:16when I had my first viral
- 40:20Instagram video,
- 40:23Instagram reel, this was um with the
- 40:26health and wellness coaching business in
- 40:29December of 2023 or January of 2024.
- 40:32That that completely changed the
- 40:34business overnight.
- 40:36We were booking so many calls
- 40:40that I could afford to be charging
- 40:42$2,500.
- 40:45I could afford it because we were
- 40:47booking so many calls. That being said,
- 40:49you still had to close to to collect 30k
- 40:52cash. You can do the math. You got to
- 40:54close a good 12
- 40:57something like that, right?
- 41:0012 clients.
- 41:04That is a lot to maintain all the time,
- 41:09especially if it's just you and you're
- 41:10running a one person business. So now is
- 41:12the time to consider if you're going to
- 41:13change anything, remember the easiest
- 41:15thing to change that is probably going
- 41:16to account for the biggest improvement
- 41:19in your business is price.
- 41:24And if you don't want to touch that
- 41:25first initial offer, then I would
- 41:27recommend you diversify and you have a
- 41:31premium offer.
- 41:33So a two and you present them these
- 41:35options on the call on the first call
- 41:40whatever your initial offer is. So like
- 41:42a 3k offer and then that's your basic
- 41:44that's your minimum package and then you
- 41:46also have a gold package
- 41:50or a VIP package or premium package
- 41:52whatever you want to call it
- 41:54and that'll be 7K or 8K or 9K or 5K
- 41:59something like that.
- 42:04What you'll find is you'll probably have
- 42:05more people going to that one anyway.
- 42:09And congratulations, you just made
- 42:10yourself richer.
- 42:14And so now if you're at 6K, you only got
- 42:16to close five five clients
- 42:19and you really haven't changed. You
- 42:21haven't you haven't really alienated
- 42:24anybody because they can still just buy
- 42:25the minimum option.
- 42:28So you get the same amount of people,
- 42:30but like you're you're you're capturing
- 42:32more revenue per person.
- 42:35You haven't disrupted the business in
- 42:36any way, shape, or form. You haven't
- 42:38turned anybody off.
- 42:40They still had that initial offer that
- 42:42they were always going for anyway.
- 42:44But now you're giving people an
- 42:46opportunity to spend more money with you
- 42:47because they will and they want to. They
- 42:50like you.
- 42:52You have something to you.
- 42:57and you deserve to make more money.
- 43:04So, be open to it. Give yourself
- 43:06permission to make more money. And then,
- 43:08and there's subtle ways to do that,
- 43:11you know, by putting yourself around
- 43:13people who make more money than you, by,
- 43:14you know, finding the one thing that
- 43:16drives sales, but also just raising
- 43:19your pricing.
- 43:23So,
- 43:25let's talk about pitfalls now because
- 43:27this is important.
- 43:32At 30 grand a month
- 43:38or in and around that range
- 43:42is when people start to
- 43:49they start to they they they So they
- 43:52they they start to become externally
- 43:54focused. They start to lose steam. They
- 43:56start they start to they they stop doing
- 43:58the things that got them there. And I
- 44:01actually think that this is an
- 44:02invitation for you to start thinking
- 44:06in a way that's unlike anybody else. And
- 44:08and and I find amongst the entrepreneurs
- 44:11that that I work with who are the most
- 44:13successful and this is the this is a a
- 44:15mindset shift in myself as well.
- 44:19At those moments of
- 44:22huge influx of revenue and capital,
- 44:27start asking yourself, how can I how can
- 44:31I
- 44:33how can I do double or triple?
- 44:37Like let's let's let's
- 44:39challenge you. You should challenge
- 44:41yourself
- 44:43to do what is is
- 44:46an obscene
- 44:48amount, right? Like in in the moments
- 44:51where everything is working,
- 44:54that is your time to double down and go
- 44:57harder. In the moments where everything
- 44:59is working, that is when you double
- 45:01down.
- 45:05If you're making great money now, you
- 45:07need to promote yourself.
- 45:10Talk about yourself. Talk about what's
- 45:12happening. And you don't necessarily,
- 45:14like I'm in the business space, so
- 45:16sometimes I'll I'll drop like a revenue
- 45:18figure, but you don't need to
- 45:19necessarily be talking about how much
- 45:20money you're making, but you need to
- 45:23also channel this momentum and this high
- 45:26and not go to Louis Vuitton, but
- 45:28actually channel it into your work.
- 45:32You're not always going to feel this
- 45:33good about yourself. You're not always
- 45:35going to feel this good about the way
- 45:37things are going in the business.
- 45:40So, you should take advantage of this.
- 45:42And if you're doing videos, for example,
- 45:44instead of recording one video a day,
- 45:47record two or three and just batch them,
- 45:52right? Or if you're recording realels or
- 45:54if you're doing campaigns or what DMs or
- 45:56whatever it may be, go all in
- 46:00now. Now is the time because you have
- 46:02the breathing room.
- 46:04You have the mental breathing room.
- 46:09And sure, part of the reason why you're
- 46:11here is because you've learned to
- 46:14breathe while you were at quote unquote
- 46:17the bottom. Sure, you were able to slow
- 46:20things down and and turn the tables in
- 46:22your favor even when externally it
- 46:24looked like it seemed like nothing was
- 46:26working in your favor. Sure,
- 46:30there are also just objectively moments
- 46:32in time where
- 46:35things are easier
- 46:37or easier to deal with according to our
- 46:39five senses. And you got to double down.
- 46:44You got to double down. And so what
- 46:46you'll notice, you'll notice this now
- 46:48now that I've called it out, is you'll
- 46:52start to know you'll you'll start to see
- 46:54the downfall
- 46:57of a lot of a lot of your peers in in in
- 46:59in your space because you'll start to
- 47:02see them blowing the money and becoming
- 47:04externally focused
- 47:06and not doubling down into the thing
- 47:08that actually got them there.
- 47:13And this goes back to, you know, the
- 47:15shopping sprees that I was doing and,
- 47:18you know, p renting pen houses and, you
- 47:21know, the did I did I did the whole nine
- 47:24now. It put me in a position to be able
- 47:26to talk about this stuff on a very deep
- 47:28level now, which is how I know all this
- 47:30stuff.
- 47:32The money, the money is an energy.
- 47:34You've probably heard that before. Take
- 47:36that and channel that energy into the
- 47:38work. You're being rewarded. Think about
- 47:41what you're being rewarded for. You're
- 47:42being rewarded for the value you
- 47:44provided to the marketplace and to your
- 47:47clients. You're also being rewarded for
- 47:50the work that you put in or the energy
- 47:52that you brought to the work. It's not
- 47:54so much about,
- 47:57this is going to go against a lot of
- 47:59[music] things. It's not so much about
- 48:01the effort
- 48:04as much as it is about the energy that
- 48:06you're bringing to the work.
- 48:10And there are moments in time where
- 48:16we get like a a nitrous boost in energy.
- 48:22Channel it.
- 48:24It's like the the the the wind is
- 48:26blowing into the sail.
- 48:30Channel it.
- 48:32Because when you start when you start
- 48:34hiring,
- 48:36that's going to take your attention
- 48:37away.
- 48:39when you start
- 48:41implementing new systems into the
- 48:43business, when you start relocating and
- 48:46perhaps going on like that's going to
- 48:47take your attention away.
- 48:50And so now it's about thinking how now
- 48:53that we're on this high and now that
- 48:55we've generated this money
- 48:58and now that we're on our way, how can
- 48:59we make the most of this? Because just
- 49:01like you operate in seasons, so does
- 49:03life.
- 49:06There's a ying and yang component to
- 49:08this whole thing
- 49:11and there's like a a planting and a
- 49:14seeding and then the harvesting of our
- 49:17work.
- 49:19So for example, when I started
- 49:20documenting
- 49:22what I was doing with Vintale, my AI
- 49:24agency
- 49:25and I started making YouTube videos to
- 49:27document what I was doing with the
- 49:29client work, I knew that every video was
- 49:33like a seed I was planting. It's like a
- 49:34stock that I was buying in the S&P 500.
- 49:36I was planting seeds and I wasn't
- 49:38expecting an immediate harvest. That's
- 49:40what allowed me to win was because I had
- 49:43that patience and I had that perspective
- 49:45that most folks don't have. I knew that
- 49:48I just had to keep planting seeds, seeds
- 49:51of trust, seeds of value in the form of
- 49:53YouTube videos. And
- 49:57if I just did that enough, I would be
- 50:00able to decide when I wanted to pull the
- 50:02trigger and harvest because there would
- 50:03have been so much crop planted. And I
- 50:07did. And so instead of racing to 10 or
- 50:1030k a month and then never being able to
- 50:12do it again, I planted the seeds to
- 50:15never make less than 30k a month. And
- 50:17this again goes beyond YouTube. This can
- 50:19just be cold outbound.
- 50:24It's the same thing.
- 50:27It's it's the exact same thing. And
- 50:29another thing that you should notice now
- 50:31that you're here is there was a time
- 50:34delay. There was a delay in which you
- 50:37received the money versus when you
- 50:39started the work.
- 50:42It's pro it was probably I don't know. I
- 50:44I can't speak for you, but I find
- 50:46typically that there's a threemon delay
- 50:50between when we start doing an immense
- 50:52amount of volume or a lot of work
- 50:55putting things out there and from the
- 50:57time in which we really reap the reward
- 51:00or see the the if not the reward then
- 51:02just see the results the disruption in
- 51:04our external reality.
- 51:07And if you can think of it like that,
- 51:10you'll realize that what you're doing
- 51:11right now will take shape in full
- 51:14fruition typically about 3 months from
- 51:17now, give or take a couple. It could be
- 51:19three months, it could be six. But point
- 51:21being, there's a time delay.
- 51:24So think about that because if you
- 51:26decide to pivot now, it has re you might
- 51:28be able to sustain yourself for the next
- 51:30couple months, but it'll have real
- 51:31effects in about a quarter.
- 51:36You don't have to worry about rookies
- 51:38and beginners as your competition
- 51:40because those guys have no sense of time
- 51:41horizon. They can't work on anything for
- 51:44more than three months. You don't have
- 51:45to worry about those folks.
- 51:49What you need to do is nurture your
- 51:50perspective and nurture your patience.
- 51:52Pat patient. When they say patience is a
- 51:54virtue, the reason why that is
- 51:57is because especially in the realm of
- 51:58entrepreneurship, he who can
- 52:02last the longest
- 52:05as an entrepreneur wins.
- 52:08He who is who he who is the most patient
- 52:11and he who has the most patience wins
- 52:15because in that time you spend it number
- 52:18one analyzing what's working and what
- 52:20isn't and gathering more data and number
- 52:22two
- 52:24planting those seeds of trust and value
- 52:26into the marketplace.
- 52:31And so one of the healthiest things I
- 52:32did when I was starting my agency was
- 52:34just understanding that, hey, this might
- 52:37take six months. I got to be okay with
- 52:39that.
- 52:42And so I what I actually did, even
- 52:44though I had some cash, what I actually
- 52:46did
- 52:48was I I decide to build the agency. I
- 52:50decided to go all in with it.
- 52:53And then I realized that this is
- 52:55probably going to take some time if I
- 52:56really want to take it to the heights
- 52:57that I want to take it.
- 53:01And so what I decided to do was start
- 53:04putting things on a credit card. And I'm
- 53:06not advising you to do that. But what I
- 53:08was what I was doing was I was buying
- 53:10time.
- 53:12I was buying time so that I could build
- 53:14trust.
- 53:16See how that works?
- 53:21So, one of the healthiest things you can
- 53:22do right now is knowing that is is
- 53:24knowing that whatever you're doing right
- 53:25now
- 53:30will have serious consequences and very
- 53:33real consequences in about 3 months. I'm
- 53:35recording this at the beginning of July.
- 53:40Whatever whatever I'm doing right now in
- 53:42the business has real consequences for
- 53:44the beginning of October. And you got to
- 53:46think like that. If you can think like
- 53:47that, then you'll never be blindsided.
- 53:50You'll never be surprised
- 53:52and you'll put yourself in a position to
- 53:54never make anything less than 30K a
- 53:56month.
- 53:57Because to get to 30K a month, you had
- 53:59to produce, you had to do something,
- 54:01right? You had to produce an immense
- 54:03amount of volume. Maybe if you did go
- 54:05viral,
- 54:07you probably went viral because you put
- 54:08out a lot of content. If you did close a
- 54:11huge client from cold outbound, you have
- 54:13now you now you have the time to figure
- 54:15out like now is the right time to figure
- 54:16out how you got them. Ask them for
- 54:18referrals or you can take that client,
- 54:22document everything you did to get them,
- 54:24document that as a case study and really
- 54:27again put set yourself up to attract
- 54:31more of those opportunities.
- 54:34And a mentor of mine
- 54:38once told me that successful people
- 54:40don't wait for opportunities, they
- 54:42create them.
- 54:49And that's proven to be true. If you can
- 54:52internalize that and know that you
- 54:54literally have the ability to create
- 54:55these opportunities of success for
- 54:57yourself, you literally you have the
- 54:59opportunity to create a life in which
- 55:00you never make anything less than 30k a
- 55:02month.
- 55:06with as much difficulty as you created a
- 55:08life where you make maybe five or 10k a
- 55:10month or 60k a month. Point being, it's
- 55:13the same amount of intention.
- 55:18And if you commit to solving this
- 55:19problem, you will solve it.
- 55:23It's like if you want to solve a Rubik's
- 55:25cube, you will solve it. What you will
- 55:27do is you will obsess over it. you'll go
- 55:29to Google, YouTube, learn some
- 55:30tutorials, and then like there's a way
- 55:32of doing this. There's a way to never
- 55:36make less than 30K a month if you're at
- 55:3930K a month and it looks like everything
- 55:40we talked about in this video. And
- 55:43again, don't take 30K a month as a as a
- 55:46law cuz someone's going to watch this
- 55:47and still do that. I guarantee you this
- 55:51all these things can apply to anything
- 55:53past your first dollar.
- 55:55I just have a very particular kind
- 55:57[clears throat] of clientele that I
- 55:58attract with with these videos. And
- 56:00that's what I'm speaking to right now.
- 56:06Find the one. Figure out what's actually
- 56:07driving the sales and never stop.
- 56:12There's only one thing in the business
- 56:14that matters. Find that and keep doing
- 56:16it.
- 56:18Do whatever you got to do to outlast the
- 56:21winter in the business so that you don't
- 56:23quit. and burnout. Whether that means
- 56:26hiring, whether that means gamifying the
- 56:28work
- 56:30in the form of committing to a goal, a
- 56:32money goal. Maybe you want to have a h
- 56:33100red grand or a4 million dollar in
- 56:35your bank account or a time duration
- 56:36that says maybe, hey, I'm going to keep
- 56:38working on this thing for a month before
- 56:41I pick my head up.
- 56:44Do not change what's working.
- 56:48And to in order to not change what's
- 56:49working, you got to you got to take a
- 56:51few deep breaths, step back, zoom out,
- 56:53and figure out what was working, what
- 56:54was driving the sales. See how all these
- 56:56work together?
- 56:58You got to figure out what was driving
- 56:59the sales in the first place.
- 57:04It's better to exist in a market of your
- 57:05own than to chase trends.
- 57:10And now it's time to think about pricing
- 57:12and increasing your pricing. And
- 57:14increasing your pricing is a very it's a
- 57:16it's a mental thing.
- 57:19In the name of giving yourself
- 57:21permission to make more money, you got
- 57:22to give yourself permission to raise
- 57:24your prices and know that nothing
- 57:26nothing's going to break. And when you
- 57:29do it, you'll ask yourself why you
- 57:31didn't do it sooner.
- 57:36There's a sweet spot for pricing.
- 57:40You should always be aggressively
- 57:41testing pricing
- 57:44to see what you can get away with. And
- 57:46there's a there's a better way of saying
- 57:47that, but it's true.
- 57:51It's true.
- 57:53And what that's also going to do is it's
- 57:54going to force you to actually take this
- 57:56thing way more seriously than you are
- 57:59right now
- 58:02and provide [music]
- 58:04a much better client experience for your
- 58:06clients. My the clients who I charge
- 58:1015k plus to 10 15k plus to have a much
- 58:14better time
- 58:17get better results
- 58:19have a better experience than the folks
- 58:21who I charge
- 58:23I don't even charge two two grand
- 58:25anymore but like you get what I'm trying
- 58:27to say right the folks who I might
- 58:29charge like $500 to like there's a level
- 58:31of seriousness
- 58:34that comes that comes with these folks
- 58:37And that's also how they got there.
- 58:40And how you will get to the next level
- 58:41is also being willing to invest in
- 58:43yourself aggressively too
- 58:46because you can't charge. And and so
- 58:48much of why people cannot raise their
- 58:50prices is because they don't want to pay
- 58:52for anything of that amount themselves.
- 58:55That's probably why and my Golden told
- 58:57me this. There's a misalignment. You
- 59:00can't charge 10K if you're not willing
- 59:01to pay 10K for something for anything.
- 59:07And so one of the big unlocks for me was
- 59:09when I worked with Myron, was when I
- 59:12worked with another gentleman. I paid
- 59:14this other gentleman $16,000
- 59:19for business coaching.
- 59:22Little thing, little little tiny things
- 59:24like that create the unlocks because you
- 59:26realize that this is normal. There's a
- 59:28lot more money flowing around than you
- 59:30thought.
- 59:32And so now you get you you put yourself
- 59:33into a position where two of those guys
- 59:35makes over 30k a month versus the five
- 59:37or 10 that you might be doing.
- 59:40Then you realize that there's levels to
- 59:41this
- 59:44and you now have the opportunity to to
- 59:46decide what level of this game you want
- 59:49to
- 59:50be playing on.
- 59:56And that's only a thought that will
- 59:58cross your mind if you allow yourself to
- 1:00:00zoom out and realize
- 1:00:05that you can be doing more.
- 1:00:14There's this fine there's this fine line
- 1:00:15of of balance of gratitude and being
- 1:00:17grateful for the amount of money you're
- 1:00:19making, but also knowing that there's
- 1:00:21another level to you. And no, it's not
- 1:00:23about the money. It's not about making
- 1:00:25more money. It's about
- 1:00:28becoming the person, becoming a better,
- 1:00:30higher caliber of entrepreneur of person
- 1:00:33and as a byproduct you will make more
- 1:00:35money.
- 1:00:40I hope that helps. See you in the next
- 1:00:42video. Peace.
