  1. 0:00When it comes to achieving a sharper
  2. 0:01face, how should we know if we should
  3. 0:03continue cutting down our total body fat
  4. 0:05percentage or if we should use something
  5. 0:07more localized to completely destroy the
  6. 0:09fat area? Now, I've personally used
  7. 0:12quite a few of these methods which I'm
  8. 0:14going to list in this video trying to
  9. 0:16fix my own fat distribution even while
  10. 0:18being lean. And yes, I have bulked up
  11. 0:20now a decent chunk. And when you bulk
  12. 0:23up, the remaining fat cells will enlarge
  13. 0:25still, so the driver's gets hidden. But
  14. 0:27nonetheless, I still made progress and
  15. 0:29so can you. Included on this list are
  16. 0:31ways that I would melt fat off my face
  17. 0:33using things like cavitation and certain
  18. 0:36>> [music]
  19. 0:36>> niches of pharmacology. So, today I'm
  20. 0:38ranking targeted fat loss methods all
  21. 0:40the way from the basics down to the fat
  22. 0:43dissolvers devices and other sorts of
  23. 0:46methods used to directly locally target
  24. 0:49fat deposits. And for reference, I'm
  25. 0:51going to be scoring them based on how
  26. 0:53effective they can be and if it would be
  27. 0:55a good or bad choice for the changes you
  28. 0:58want. Because we have to remember that
  29. 0:59the face is made up of different fat
  30. 1:01compartments including things like the
  31. 1:03buccal region, the malar region,
  32. 1:05nasolabial region, and the submental
  33. 1:08region. So, each of these areas have
  34. 1:10different targeting aspects. We'll start
  35. 1:13with one of the most commonly discussed
  36. 1:14lipolytic agents, which is Aqualyx. Now,
  37. 1:17Aqualyx is often marketed as a fat
  38. 1:19dissolver that can be used entirely
  39. 1:21across the face. It's made up of
  40. 1:23something called sodium deoxycholate,
  41. 1:25which is a sort of detergent agent. And
  42. 1:28this essentially will break down the
  43. 1:29cell walls where it's subjected. There
  44. 1:31are warnings concerning this product
  45. 1:33including scarring, infections, skin
  46. 1:35necrosis, etc. And the studies on it are
  47. 1:37quite mixed and actually quite poorly
  48. 1:39standardized. It is a real product that
  49. 1:42technically works, but honestly, I think
  50. 1:44there are much better fat dissolvers
  51. 1:46compared to things like Aqualyx.
  52. 1:47Especially given the fact that you'll be
  53. 1:49extensively swollen for such a long
  54. 1:51period of time and the results are
  55. 1:53actually quite minimal. I mean, when you
  56. 1:54actually look for results of things like
  57. 1:57Aqualyx, it's barely even noticeable if
  58. 1:59any. In of what I would prefer more over
  59. 2:02traditional Aqualyx would be something
  60. 2:04like PPC with a combination of a
  61. 2:07detergent base in Aqualyx, and the
  62. 2:09sodium deoxycholate does have the
  63. 2:12technically best evidence behind it for
  64. 2:15destroying the fat cells, but PPC can
  65. 2:18dispense and transport lipids more
  66. 2:20proactively, so combining them can
  67. 2:22actually be a bit more effective. And
  68. 2:24there are actual studies backing this
  69. 2:26up, including a few mentioning increases
  70. 2:29in hormone-sensitive lipase. This is a
  71. 2:31gene expression that can essentially
  72. 2:33reduce soft tissue mass. Another 2017
  73. 2:36study showing actual cell death rather
  74. 2:39than conventional lipolysis. And another
  75. 2:412022 study confirming my bias towards
  76. 2:44combining the use of PPC and
  77. 2:47deoxycholate.
  78. 2:49Here, PPC induced apoptosis and
  79. 2:51enzymatic lipolysis, and they actually
  80. 2:54found a synergy between what I just
  81. 2:56mentioned.
  82. 2:57There are also tons of other little
  83. 2:59pharmacology mechanisms you could
  84. 3:01include in the formulation. An example
  85. 3:03could be L-carnitine, for example, for
  86. 3:05shuttling fatty acids. And a lot of the
  87. 3:08more advanced fat-dissolving
  88. 3:09formulations have acknowledged these and
  89. 3:11put them into newer formulas. Now, what
  90. 3:14about something like fasting? I mean,
  91. 3:16you've probably seen a decent chunk of
  92. 3:18people after fasting losing quite a bit
  93. 3:21of facial volume. That will technically
  94. 3:23reduce facial fat if you actually lose
  95. 3:26fat from that region in the first place.
  96. 3:28But this is only through the deficit it
  97. 3:30creates. If your calories match your
  98. 3:32daily burning, then you're really not
  99. 3:35going to make a difference. So, there's
  100. 3:36not really any special pathway fasting
  101. 3:39targets when it comes to destroying your
  102. 3:41facial fat. But it is something
  103. 3:43completely free you can do, and
  104. 3:45something that could be a healthy habit
  105. 3:47uh given some circumstances. But in
  106. 3:50terms of being an effective fat loss
  107. 3:52method for the cheeks, for example, it's
  108. 3:54probably going to go in C tier. Most of
  109. 3:57you watching this probably are suffering
  110. 3:58from very stubborn fat. Now, an
  111. 4:00experimental protocol I've been testing
  112. 4:02is using something called topical BAM15.
  113. 4:06And this is a cream that can burn the
  114. 4:08fat underneath it, but not exactly
  115. 4:10destroy the fat cells. Essentially, it's
  116. 4:12going to make your fat cells more
  117. 4:13inefficient, making your mitochondria
  118. 4:16burn more energy. And there's already
  119. 4:17been studies done on animals showing
  120. 4:19that when mice would consume the BAM15
  121. 4:22orally, they would lose fat even when
  122. 4:25keeping their calories at maintenance.
  123. 4:27So, the cream is more experimental and
  124. 4:29hasn't been tested in humans yet. This
  125. 4:31is something that I had custom
  126. 4:32formulated specifically to reach the fat
  127. 4:35layers. It's still being tested, so
  128. 4:38there's really no clear answer. But what
  129. 4:39I can say from personal experience is I
  130. 4:41definitely notice initial depletion, and
  131. 4:45if the cream is actually over applied, I
  132. 4:47can get some swelling. So, it definitely
  133. 4:49seems to be doing something. I'm
  134. 4:50thinking it's probably inducing maybe
  135. 4:53some local glycogen depletion. But for
  136. 4:55now, we really won't know, and I'll have
  137. 4:57to do some more ultrasound tests to see
  138. 4:59what happens. So, I'll put this into the
  139. 5:02D tier rank.
  140. 5:03Now, nicotine gets sold as an appetite
  141. 5:05suppressant to help you lean out your
  142. 5:07face, and many people associate smokers
  143. 5:09with having leaner faces.
  144. 5:12It is going to go into D tier, however,
  145. 5:14the appetite suppression isn't anything
  146. 5:16too insane, and the way it's going to
  147. 5:18take off is going to just be systemic,
  148. 5:19and that could be anywhere on your body.
  149. 5:22Now, what about GLP-1s? Because you
  150. 5:23probably heard of things like Ozempic
  151. 5:25face or skeleton face when people take
  152. 5:28these compounds. Now, GLP-1s like
  153. 5:30Ozempic or tirzepatide do result in
  154. 5:32significant amounts of systemic fat
  155. 5:35loss. Retatrutide recently hit 28 to 30%
  156. 5:39body weight loss in most recent phase 3
  157. 5:42trials. And so, these do act
  158. 5:44systemically and can be effective for
  159. 5:46face fat, but it depends on your
  160. 5:48genetics in the first place. But there
  161. 5:50was a 2025 study actually looking at the
  162. 5:53drop in mid-face volume using GLP-1s,
  163. 5:55and for about every 10 kilos lost, about
  164. 5:587% of that volume was lost alongside.
  165. 6:01The catch is most of this is superficial
  166. 6:03fat, which is the fat directly
  167. 6:05underneath your skin. Deep fat barely
  168. 6:07tracked weight loss at all, and often
  169. 6:09times this is the fat that can actually
  170. 6:10be quite stubborn. So, of course,
  171. 6:12overall fat loss is going to reduce
  172. 6:14facial fat in most people, but even with
  173. 6:17something like GLP's, you're not going
  174. 6:18to be able to target the fat cells
  175. 6:20locally. It's still something that can
  176. 6:21be useful for a lot of people who have
  177. 6:23issues with their weight. However, I
  178. 6:25will say if you have to get so
  179. 6:27ridiculously death-tier lean to even
  180. 6:29look somewhat good in your face, you
  181. 6:31should honestly just go with more of a
  182. 6:33localized approach. Because if we're
  183. 6:34being realistic here, maintaining that
  184. 6:36low of a body fat percentage just to
  185. 6:38look good over time is going to
  186. 6:40significantly degrade your health. It's
  187. 6:42already been shown that things like
  188. 6:44Ozempic can actually lead to bone loss,
  189. 6:46and yes, a lot of this can be due to
  190. 6:48mechanical tension, but you have to keep
  191. 6:49in mind that the mechanical tension you
  192. 6:51experience on your bones relates to the
  193. 6:54actual amount of mass placed on them in
  194. 6:56the first place. So, overall, it can
  195. 6:58100% be very effective for fat loss,
  196. 7:00just nothing to localize. I'll put it in
  197. 7:02an A tier just because of how effective
  198. 7:04it can be for many people. Now, this is
  199. 7:07a common surgical buzzword you've
  200. 7:09probably heard, but it's going to
  201. 7:10regards something called buccal fat
  202. 7:12removal. Now, buccal fat removal
  203. 7:14actually consists of removing the deep
  204. 7:16fat in your buccal region.
  205. 7:22If you want to simulate this area, you
  206. 7:24can essentially open your mouth slightly
  207. 7:27and press in between your teeth. Even
  208. 7:29sucking in can kind of simulate to
  209. 7:31extent. But, this is essentially where
  210. 7:34the buccal fat pad is going to lie. But,
  211. 7:36if you're actually going to get this
  212. 7:37procedure, you actually have to have a
  213. 7:39real cause for it in the first place.
  214. 7:41Let's say your problem region of
  215. 7:43stubborn fat isn't even in the buccal
  216. 7:45region, let's say it's more malar like
  217. 7:47mine. If you get buccal fat removal,
  218. 7:49you're just going to exaggerate the
  219. 7:51puffs on your malar region. This fat pad
  220. 7:54also is going to naturally shrink as you
  221. 7:56age, it can be one of the most
  222. 7:57significant factors when it comes to the
  223. 7:58aging process. But, if you actually have
  224. 8:01the issue of having high buccal fat
  225. 8:03specifically, this is definitely a high
  226. 8:05ROI procedure. And based on the surgeons
  227. 8:07I've talked to so far, they basically
  228. 8:09all say the same thing. Don't get this
  229. 8:11procedure if you don't actually have a
  230. 8:14buckle issue, a discrepancy that is
  231. 8:16visible. Because often times you're
  232. 8:18going to be compensating for a lack of
  233. 8:20structure, and you'll actually look
  234. 8:22worse as you age. So you're going to
  235. 8:24need a proper assessment of your face to
  236. 8:26actually determine if this is the right
  237. 8:28procedure for you. And when it comes to
  238. 8:29determining if you have a point on your
  239. 8:31face that really sticks out just due to
  240. 8:34fat, you can often look and see if this
  241. 8:36is the case directly by using something
  242. 8:38like a superficial ultrasound like
  243. 8:40demonstrated here by me. And as you can
  244. 8:42see, the malar region is much thicker
  245. 8:45than my buckle region. This is why I
  246. 8:47have more hollowness over here and less
  247. 8:50hollowness surrounding the malar
  248. 8:52submalar region. Now, that's not to say
  249. 8:54you can't make significant progress on
  250. 8:56these regions as I have, but targeting
  251. 8:58places like the malar or nasolabial
  252. 9:00region is much harder than targeting the
  253. 9:02buckle region. But that aside, targeting
  254. 9:05the buckle area can be useful. Once
  255. 9:07again, if you actually have that
  256. 9:09discrepancy directly in the buckle
  257. 9:11region. So if you're someone who
  258. 9:12actually needs this procedure, then I'm
  259. 9:14going to put this into A tier. Now,
  260. 9:16growth hormone is often marketed as a
  261. 9:18fat burner, especially for just changing
  262. 9:19your overall body composition. It has
  263. 9:21been shown in a 2025 analysis to greatly
  264. 9:24reduce belly fat, but this is deep belly
  265. 9:26fat. This isn't related to our facial
  266. 9:28fat layers. So there are real effects,
  267. 9:30it's just not super targeted for the
  268. 9:32face. I'm going to put this into D tier.
  269. 9:34Now you can pass the pat because
  270. 9:35depending on what kind of fat you're
  271. 9:37dealing with, it's going to require a
  272. 9:39targeted solution. Malar fat and buckle
  273. 9:41fat are not the same. Subcutaneous fat
  274. 9:43and deep fat are not the same. Chin fat,
  275. 9:46submental fat, and cheek fat aren't
  276. 9:48exactly the same either. The human
  277. 9:50physiology can definitely be a difficult
  278. 9:52process to navigate, especially when it
  279. 9:54comes to merging science with
  280. 9:56aesthetics. And thankfully, I am here to
  281. 9:58help you guys if you're stuck trying to
  282. 9:59figure out what to do with for yourself
  283. 10:01personally. Because I've actually been
  284. 10:02in the operating room, talked to
  285. 10:04surgeons, and done countless amounts of
  286. 10:06experiments on myself to assess my
  287. 10:08looks. And I've helped countless other
  288. 10:09people do the same as well. It really
  289. 10:11just takes the right plan and timing.
  290. 10:14So, if you're interested in maxing out
  291. 10:15your own personal aesthetics, definitely
  292. 10:17be sure to check out my community or
  293. 10:19private coaching. The link will be in
  294. 10:20the description. And now let's go back
  295. 10:22to the boards. Let's talk about Kybella,
  296. 10:24which is actually an FDA-approved
  297. 10:26fat-dissolving agent. Deoxycholic acid
  298. 10:28is one of the main ingredients in
  299. 10:29Kybella, and most of the research on
  300. 10:31this comes from destroying underchin
  301. 10:33fat. For the chin itself, this can
  302. 10:35definitely be an A tier. But the thing
  303. 10:37is, there were tons of warnings posted
  304. 10:38by the FDA regarding Kybella, especially
  305. 10:40in regions not including that chin
  306. 10:43submental region. And in terms of
  307. 10:45effectiveness for the actual cheeks,
  308. 10:47it's pretty mixed. Anything done in this
  309. 10:49region is off-label and experimental.
  310. 10:52And based on the results I've tried to
  311. 10:54find on this being used in the cheeks,
  312. 10:55it looks quite minimal. Once again, I'm
  313. 10:57in support of using the main ingredient
  314. 11:00here, found with PPC as well. So, for
  315. 11:03the underchin region, it can definitely
  316. 11:04be A tier. For the rest of your face,
  317. 11:06it'll probably go into D tier. And Lemon
  318. 11:09Bottle is another fat-dissolving agent
  319. 11:11sold as a cheaper Kybella. But there's
  320. 11:13actually no reliable human evidence
  321. 11:15whatsoever that it reduces facial fat.
  322. 11:17And once again, the results I could find
  323. 11:20looking for people who did this
  324. 11:21off-label were quite limited and really
  325. 11:23not impressive whatsoever. Based on
  326. 11:25what's known so far, this will probably
  327. 11:27go into D tier. Now, calorie deficit is
  328. 11:29going to go back to basics of just
  329. 11:31losing overall body fat, especially if
  330. 11:33you're not lean enough, typically uh if
  331. 11:36you're not under that 12 to 15% range if
  332. 11:39you're a man. And there are all facial
  333. 11:41studies showing that significant weight
  334. 11:42loss leads to subcutaneous fat reduction
  335. 11:46in the cheeks over time. But if you need
  336. 11:48to regain weight, maybe you were going
  337. 11:50to bulk a bit like I did, or if you
  338. 11:52can't maintain that weight for long
  339. 11:54because of health reasons or because
  340. 11:56it's too difficult, well then that fat
  341. 11:58is simply just going to come back
  342. 12:00because the fat cells are simply going
  343. 12:02to enlarge. It's definitely S tier
  344. 12:04overall just because you do need to get
  345. 12:06lean to an extent. But for many people,
  346. 12:08getting lean just simply isn't enough
  347. 12:11when it comes to getting to their ideal
  348. 12:12aesthetics. If you really have a double
  349. 12:14chin, then submental liposuction can be
  350. 12:16one of the best ROIs. A cannula is going
  351. 12:19to physically remove that fat under your
  352. 12:21chin, and after that's done, it's
  353. 12:23completely gone. There was a 2026 study
  354. 12:25done on the satisfaction rates with over
  355. 12:2780% satisfaction. But, keep in mind that
  356. 12:30of course submental or double chin
  357. 12:31doesn't necessarily mean it's just fat.
  358. 12:33A large portion of it could be due to
  359. 12:35fat, but there are other factors that
  360. 12:37can play into this region, including
  361. 12:39things like oral volume, for example,
  362. 12:41skin tightness, ligament issues,
  363. 12:43recessed jaws, bad posturing, or even
  364. 12:46weak musculature in that region. But, if
  365. 12:48you can easily pinch a large chunk of it
  366. 12:51and it's is noticeably sagging away from
  367. 12:54the actual bony tissue, it's likely
  368. 12:56going to be a good amount of fat, and
  369. 12:58getting a submental liposuction would be
  370. 13:00a definite S tier. Now, I've seen these
  371. 13:03products often marketed towards more
  372. 13:05younger individuals, which are jaw
  373. 13:07straps. These aren't going to destroy
  374. 13:09facial fat what- soever. In fact, they
  375. 13:11could even bloat you temporarily. All
  376. 13:14compressors are going to do is push soft
  377. 13:15tissue inwards, which may look like you
  378. 13:18lost some fat, but it's not actually
  379. 13:19doing anything. And if you compress the
  380. 13:21lymphatic vessels too much, you're
  381. 13:23actually just going to get excess
  382. 13:25bloating from that over time. These
  383. 13:27products are total scam and deserve to
  384. 13:29go into F tier. Now, what about
  385. 13:31cryolipolysis, aka freezing of the fat
  386. 13:34directly, let's say on the submental
  387. 13:36underchin region. Now, there are
  388. 13:38controlled studies measuring real
  389. 13:40reductions in underchin fat, but it's
  390. 13:42much less predictable and comes with a
  391. 13:43serious complication that can arise. And
  392. 13:46this is known as paradoxical adipose
  393. 13:48hyperplasia, where the treated fat
  394. 13:50actually grows more instead of
  395. 13:52shrinking. You could imagine that due to
  396. 13:53this risk, I'm not super favorable of
  397. 13:55this procedure, especially compared to
  398. 13:57something like liposuction. In fact,
  399. 13:59I've seen quite a few case reports of
  400. 14:01this hyperplasia happening, so I'm
  401. 14:03probably never going to recommend this
  402. 14:04to anyone. Going into F tier. Now,
  403. 14:06something I've experimented with in the
  404. 14:08past is something called Adipotide,
  405. 14:10which is probably the most interesting
  406. 14:11compound on this board you've never
  407. 14:12heard of. Because instead of burning fat
  408. 14:15or destroying the fat cell membranes,
  409. 14:17it's actually going to directly attack
  410. 14:19their blood supply. And on obese
  411. 14:20monkeys, it's been shown to cause
  412. 14:22significant fat loss. But the thing is,
  413. 14:24these were monkeys, not actual humans,
  414. 14:26so we can't be fully sure what would
  415. 14:28happen in one. And it did slightly
  416. 14:29damage their kidney tubules, though in
  417. 14:31many cases it was found to be
  418. 14:33reversible. And over time after
  419. 14:35monitoring these monkeys, their weight
  420. 14:36actually came back after stopping. But
  421. 14:38there wasn't actually a good amount of
  422. 14:40follow-up evidence on how much fat was
  423. 14:42actually destroyed and not just shrunk
  424. 14:44down. There's no good human data and
  425. 14:47nothing much on facial fat. When you
  426. 14:49look at forum posts of people who've
  427. 14:50experimented with this, they usually say
  428. 14:52they get random amounts of fat cells
  429. 14:54disappearing from random parts of their
  430. 14:56body or even localized dispersion. So it
  431. 14:59seems interesting, but it'd definitely
  432. 15:00be great if scientists came up with a
  433. 15:02way to make this more targeted, but for
  434. 15:03now this is just going to go into
  435. 15:05detail.
  436. 15:06Now what about radio frequency devices?
  437. 15:08I've actually talked about this quite a
  438. 15:09bit. Now radio frequency devices are
  439. 15:11often marketed as tightening skin and
  440. 15:13removing fat at the same time. But the
  441. 15:14thing you have to keep in mind is is
  442. 15:16that radio frequency isn't just one type
  443. 15:18of treatment. There are multiple types
  444. 15:19of treatments and devices that can be
  445. 15:21used, some much more effective than
  446. 15:23others. So when it comes to choosing a
  447. 15:25proper RF device or treatment for the
  448. 15:27face specifically, probably the best
  449. 15:29ones you'll look into are things like
  450. 15:31Morpheus 8. This is a type of RF
  451. 15:33microneedling which can actually
  452. 15:34penetrate deep enough into the fat
  453. 15:36layers and then coagulate them,
  454. 15:39destroying the fat cells permanently and
  455. 15:41shrinking neighboring ones. And this is
  456. 15:43something I talked to Dr. Atlys
  457. 15:45specifically about. And what he said is
  458. 15:46that you actually have to go quite deep
  459. 15:48for this to be effective and reach the
  460. 15:50appropriate fat layers, at least 5 mm
  461. 15:52deep on the face, which is not a
  462. 15:54standard for most Morpheus devices. Most
  463. 15:57Morpheus devices go up to 4 mm on the
  464. 15:59face. And you have to keep in mind when
  465. 16:01this device is being applied to your
  466. 16:02face, the skin is going to deform along
  467. 16:05with the compression. So if you use the
  468. 16:07facial microneedling device and you do
  469. 16:09have to prevent some of that disruption.
  470. 16:12I've done this treatment myself on the
  471. 16:14cheeks and submental, and I've noticed
  472. 16:16it significantly improved my submental,
  473. 16:18especially. On the cheeks, I noticed
  474. 16:20some mild results, though I'm not
  475. 16:22exactly sure how many millimeters it
  476. 16:24would shave off. And I had a session
  477. 16:26recently done, so it's got to be a bit
  478. 16:27of time before I'm able to see those
  479. 16:29final results. So, the professional
  480. 16:31grade RF microneedling devices can
  481. 16:33definitely go into probably around the B
  482. 16:35tier range, but a weak RF device that
  483. 16:38can't do this or just actually is the
  484. 16:39skin isn't going to do much if anything
  485. 16:42at all, depending. It'll probably go
  486. 16:44into D tier. How about ECA, the
  487. 16:46ephedrine, caffeine, and aspirin stack?
  488. 16:48This is an old-school fat burner and
  489. 16:50does have some trial data on it. There
  490. 16:52was more fat loss observed than placebo
  491. 16:55over 6 months, but none of this was
  492. 16:57targeted towards facial fat loss. And
  493. 16:58there were actually quite a few negative
  494. 16:59side effects that they reported
  495. 17:01long-term. Much higher heart rate, much
  496. 17:03higher blood pressure, and sleeping
  497. 17:05issues. Compared with just regular fat
  498. 17:06loss, you're essentially just damaging
  499. 17:08your body more over time. It can be
  500. 17:10somewhat effective, though, if you're
  501. 17:12trying to look good in a short period of
  502. 17:14time. Yes, you could argue. And overall,
  503. 17:17I'll put this into C tier. Another
  504. 17:18experimental compound is something
  505. 17:19called ATX-304. And ATX essentially acts
  506. 17:22as an energy sense switch in your fat
  507. 17:24cells. In mice, it cut body fat
  508. 17:26significantly and shifted towards a
  509. 17:28burning those fat cells. It's an
  510. 17:30interesting mechanism with real mouse
  511. 17:32data on it, but no real human evidence
  512. 17:34and nothing on facial fat specifically.
  513. 17:36I haven't tested this out myself,
  514. 17:38either, so I'm going to put this into D
  515. 17:39tier. And here's the one you're probably
  516. 17:41all interested in, which I've used
  517. 17:43personally and talked quite a bit about,
  518. 17:45which is called ultrasonic cavitation.
  519. 17:48So, ultrasonic cavitation essentially is
  520. 17:50going to use ultrasound waves to destroy
  521. 17:52and damage fat cells. And this isn't
  522. 17:54some mechanism I just made up out of my
  523. 17:56head. It's been shown in multiple
  524. 17:57studies that focused ultrasound does
  525. 17:59indeed destroy human fat cells. And
  526. 18:02there are studies actually done on it
  527. 18:04with the submental under chin region.
  528. 18:06And that's where I come into the mix
  529. 18:08because I actually used this directly on
  530. 18:10the surface of my face, which was not
  531. 18:12recommended at the time. It was actually
  532. 18:14quite fear-monger were claiming that it
  533. 18:17could make you go blind and deaf, etc.
  534. 18:19But I didn't believe in that and tested
  535. 18:21out myself and definitely say that I can
  536. 18:23see perfectly fine and hear perfectly
  537. 18:25fine. And it definitely causes a lot of
  538. 18:27initial swelling, but I can definitely
  539. 18:29say it works. But when it comes to
  540. 18:30actually doing a proper protocol and
  541. 18:32selecting the actual device needed for
  542. 18:34this region, it's much more difficult
  543. 18:36process than you think. Because most
  544. 18:38devices aren't medically regulated and
  545. 18:40so a lot of them are just scammy, cheap
  546. 18:42products. So you have to know exactly
  547. 18:44which device to buy it and which device
  548. 18:47is actually going to be a effective for
  549. 18:49the region you're applying it to. Not
  550. 18:51only that, but you need to prevent
  551. 18:52fibrosis from happening, which is
  552. 18:54essentially just scar tissue build-up in
  553. 18:56the cheeks, which can cause things like
  554. 18:58permanent edema. But based on my
  555. 18:59experience, it has been pretty effective
  556. 19:01overall. I will still say surgical
  557. 19:03removal is always going to be the best
  558. 19:05option. So I'm going to put this around
  559. 19:07a B tier. And it is worthy to note as
  560. 19:10well that as the fat compartment gets
  561. 19:12thinner and thinner and thinner, you're
  562. 19:13going to get less results over time
  563. 19:15because there's actually less of a
  564. 19:16medium for the wave pass through. And
  565. 19:18since there's less of a medium, then
  566. 19:20you're not able to get the full results
  567. 19:22of those waves destroying as many fat
  568. 19:25cells as possible. So all things
  569. 19:26considered, make sure you try to realize
  570. 19:28if you're dealing with overall body fat
  571. 19:30or an actual stubborn pocket that needs
  572. 19:32to be locally targeted. And be sure to
  573. 19:34do enough research when it comes to
  574. 19:35these because there can definitely be
  575. 19:37some adverse effects following their
  576. 19:39usage. If you're willing to learn how to
  577. 19:40target these fat deposits directly and
  578. 19:42work with me one-on-one, then definitely
  579. 19:44check out the link in my bio. That being
  580. 19:46said, make sure that you know exactly
  581. 19:48that you're dealing with facial fat
  582. 19:50because sometimes you may just be
  583. 19:51dealing with excess fluid retention. If
  584. 19:53you're interested in learning how to
  585. 19:54identify and deal with that, then
  586. 19:56definitely be sure to check out this
  587. 19:57video. Anyways, I hope this content was
  588. 19:59useful for you guys. I'll see you in the
  589. 20:01next
