  1. 0:00Hello guys, welcome back to my channel.
  2. 0:02If you're new, welcome. My name is
  3. 0:04Leilani. I post content based on
  4. 0:06manifestation, subliminal stimuli, and
  5. 0:08overall anything that has to do with
  6. 0:10being your best self.
  7. 0:11>> [music]
  8. 0:12>> Today's topic is going to be all about
  9. 0:13how to manifest academic success without
  10. 0:16making studying feel like it's daunting,
  11. 0:18overwhelming, and most importantly how
  12. 0:21you're going to rewire your identity to
  13. 0:23become your most [music] successful,
  14. 0:25most academic, and disciplined self.
  15. 0:28So, to begin with this video, I first of
  16. 0:31all want to talk about my journey with
  17. 0:33manifesting academic success and how I
  18. 0:35unintentionally manifested this. So,
  19. 0:38when I say I unintentionally manifested
  20. 0:40academic success, I specifically mean
  21. 0:43that I did this before I actually
  22. 0:44started my journey of manifesting really
  23. 0:47important, significant changes in my
  24. 0:49life in general.
  25. 0:52My
  26. 0:53failures in manifesting academic success
  27. 0:56[music] did happen a few years prior to
  28. 0:58unintentionally
  29. 1:00manifesting academic success. [music]
  30. 1:03When I was in ninth grade, I kind of
  31. 1:05went through what I like to call my
  32. 1:07genius phase where I suddenly became
  33. 1:10obsessed with being [music] like the
  34. 1:11smartest person in every room. And that
  35. 1:13was just like
  36. 1:14being smart was
  37. 1:16a title to me. [music] It wasn't
  38. 1:18like about having deep knowledge and
  39. 1:22being wise. It was just like a social
  40. 1:24status. I was craving
  41. 1:26social
  42. 1:27>> [music]
  43. 1:27>> I was craving social status. I wanted to
  44. 1:30be seen and recognized as somebody who
  45. 1:32is very smart, and I was more focused on
  46. 1:34the outcome and the future me being
  47. 1:38smart rather than embodying smarts
  48. 1:40myself. So, I would often feel like I
  49. 1:43was cheating off of myself when I was
  50. 1:45like trying to prepare for IQ tests or
  51. 1:48annual tests because I didn't attend
  52. 1:50public school. I was self-taught in
  53. 1:53everything that I learned growing up. I
  54. 1:54was self-educated and never went to
  55. 1:56public school or whatnot. Anyway, I was
  56. 1:59not really learning everything in depth.
  57. 2:01Like I was kind of skimming the surface
  58. 2:02and
  59. 2:03>> [music]
  60. 2:04>> at my core I didn't identify as somebody
  61. 2:08who was smart, disciplined, or
  62. 2:10academically successful. I was spreading
  63. 2:12myself thin and I was
  64. 2:15focusing on the numbers rather [music]
  65. 2:17than the actual in-depth knowledge.
  66. 2:20And this was the biggest mistake I made
  67. 2:23when it came to manifesting academic
  68. 2:25success. And obviously back then I did
  69. 2:28not know what manifestation was. I
  70. 2:30didn't know how to properly get good
  71. 2:32grades, become disciplined, and become
  72. 2:35the person that I truly wanted to be.
  73. 2:38So,
  74. 2:39to reflect on my failures,
  75. 2:42the biggest takeaway from this is that I
  76. 2:44did not reprogram my identity. I was
  77. 2:48discreetly and unawarely
  78. 2:51reinforcing the fact that I was not the
  79. 2:53person who I wanted to be because I was
  80. 2:55focusing on the outcome rather than
  81. 2:58embodying the genius within.
  82. 3:01And this is going to lead directly on to
  83. 3:04how I unintentionally manifested [music]
  84. 3:07academic success.
  85. 3:09So, let me think of what the timeline
  86. 3:11was. So, 3 years later when I was in
  87. 3:1511th grade, I got into college
  88. 3:17>> [music]
  89. 3:17>> and I used to be a very shy person. If
  90. 3:21you guys are regular with with my
  91. 3:23channel, you know that I talked about
  92. 3:25[music] how I used to be really shy and
  93. 3:26I was really naive and whatnot. When I
  94. 3:28first entered college, this was my
  95. 3:30[music] first classroom setting that I
  96. 3:32had ever been exposed to.
  97. 3:34But I remember on the first day of
  98. 3:37college, [music]
  99. 3:39I walked into one of my classes which
  100. 3:41was a general psychology class and I
  101. 3:44don't know what it is what it was within
  102. 3:47me, but there was this force within me
  103. 3:49[music] that just
  104. 3:51wanted to embody
  105. 3:53the genius within. Like I already acted
  106. 3:57like the smartest person in the room. I
  107. 3:58was like the most confident. I
  108. 4:00specifically remember walking into the
  109. 4:02classroom that day and I just sat with
  110. 4:04like
  111. 4:05the most perfect posture ever. I was
  112. 4:07like
  113. 4:08really proper, you know, my shoulders
  114. 4:10relaxed, my back was like all straight
  115. 4:12like this and what uh blah blah blah
  116. 4:13blah blah. I sat right in front of the
  117. 4:17teacher's desk at the very front [music]
  118. 4:20of the class. And I remember there was
  119. 4:21this one classmate I had and he was like
  120. 4:24the smart nerdy kid of the class, but I
  121. 4:27always like to sit next to him because
  122. 4:29I felt like we just had like our own
  123. 4:31little
  124. 4:32genius group going on and whatnot.
  125. 4:34Anyway, so because this was my first
  126. 4:37college semester ever and it was the
  127. 4:40first opportunity that I had in a
  128. 4:42classroom setting,
  129. 4:44I [music] still like subconsciously was
  130. 4:46very nervous and naive because obviously
  131. 4:49I'd never
  132. 4:50been in a classroom setting like this
  133. 4:51before.
  134. 4:52But with initial exposure
  135. 4:55and desensitization of the classroom
  136. 4:58setting and like desensitization of my
  137. 5:00anxiety and whatnot, I got used to it
  138. 5:02and I focused on embodying what it was
  139. 5:05like to be the [music] smartest, most
  140. 5:08disciplined, and academic person in the
  141. 5:10room. And even outside of the classroom,
  142. 5:14this was applicable to my academic
  143. 5:16success too because at this time I
  144. 5:18didn't have any online classes,
  145. 5:20but I did have studies to focus on when
  146. 5:22I was at my home. And I specifically
  147. 5:26remember dedicating a special space
  148. 5:30>> [music]
  149. 5:30>> in my room for academic success. Now,
  150. 5:33obviously an environmental setting isn't
  151. 5:35going to make you smarter, but when you
  152. 5:38create
  153. 5:39>> [music]
  154. 5:40>> a connection like a sensory connection.
  155. 5:42Like maybe you can even put like
  156. 5:44an air purifier in your room and put
  157. 5:46like certain [music] essential oils or
  158. 5:48scents
  159. 5:50in there for like aromatherapy and
  160. 5:51whatnot. There is a specific technique
  161. 5:54and it's called sensory anchoring where
  162. 5:56you create like
  163. 5:58a sensory association with a feeling.
  164. 6:02[music]
  165. 6:04This should come pretty intuitively. So,
  166. 6:06like for example, what I like to do is
  167. 6:09before I go to work, I actually combined
  168. 6:12I combine lavender and fennel oil for
  169. 6:16like [music] my signature scent, which I
  170. 6:18like to call it, just to get me like in
  171. 6:21my successful mood cuz that's like my
  172. 6:23success scent. It's it's kind of funny,
  173. 6:26but it also makes me
  174. 6:28>> [music]
  175. 6:28>> feel like really confident and it makes
  176. 6:30me feel really relaxed. So, I like to
  177. 6:32put that on before I go to work. I
  178. 6:34specifically like [music] to use citrus
  179. 6:36when I study because I feel like it's
  180. 6:37very stimulating and it keeps me
  181. 6:39focused. So, whenever I smell like lemon
  182. 6:41or orange, it makes me like
  183. 6:43im- immediately like embody my genius
  184. 6:46version of myself. Anyway, [music]
  185. 6:48so dedicate like a sacred space where
  186. 6:50you can study and embody like
  187. 6:54the discipline of being focused and
  188. 6:56whatnot. I also want to put an emphasis
  189. 6:59on focus here because this is a very
  190. 7:01obvious one for many of you who are in
  191. 7:03college or [music] who are working on
  192. 7:05graduating high school and whatnot.
  193. 7:06Basically, this is applicable to
  194. 7:08everybody at any level of study,
  195. 7:11education, et cetera, et cetera. But you
  196. 7:14have to find your sacred space
  197. 7:18>> [music]
  198. 7:19>> and you need to make sure that it's
  199. 7:21distraction-free because
  200. 7:23>> [music]
  201. 7:23>> we all know
  202. 7:25how detrimental
  203. 7:27notifications and any distraction in
  204. 7:30general is
  205. 7:31>> [music]
  206. 7:31>> to our study time. Especially with the
  207. 7:34phones, I know
  208. 7:36it's really cliché when you hear [music]
  209. 7:39other people, especially the older
  210. 7:41generation, saying it's the phones. It's
  211. 7:43the phones that are the cause of your
  212. 7:45your inattentiveness, ADHD, your
  213. 7:47symptoms, et cetera. [music]
  214. 7:50They I mean, they're not completely
  215. 7:52wrong. I mean, when you look at studies,
  216. 7:54there like there are actually studies
  217. 7:56that prove [music] that
  218. 7:58the average human attention span is now
  219. 8:01shorter than [music] that of a
  220. 8:02goldfish's attention span, which is
  221. 8:04really sad and it makes
  222. 8:06us realize [music] like how addicted we
  223. 8:09are to our phones and just stimuli in
  224. 8:11general, especially electronic stimuli.
  225. 8:14The key here is to view yourself as a
  226. 8:16high achiever through like these little
  227. 8:18rituals of creating your sacred study
  228. 8:20space
  229. 8:21>> [music]
  230. 8:22>> and sensory anchoring.
  231. 8:24But more important than anything, you
  232. 8:27need to energetically embody what it's
  233. 8:29like to be a high achiever because if
  234. 8:31you're not energetically embodying what
  235. 8:33it's like to be a high achiever, [music]
  236. 8:35you're shallowly going after all these
  237. 8:37aspirations and you're just focusing on
  238. 8:40numbers in a way. It might not like look
  239. 8:43like focusing on numbers for you. It
  240. 8:45definitely
  241. 8:46>> [music]
  242. 8:46>> looked like that for me because I was
  243. 8:48more concerned with having a 4.0 GPA. I
  244. 8:51was
  245. 8:51>> [music]
  246. 8:51>> concerned with having this IQ and I was
  247. 8:53concerned with having a perfect 100 on
  248. 8:56every exam score without studying.
  249. 8:59Which leads to another point that I want
  250. 9:01to make is that manifestation
  251. 9:04as a topic should not replace
  252. 9:07studying itself.
  253. 9:09Because although I believe that
  254. 9:11manifesting and seeing yourself as a
  255. 9:13high achiever can definitely help
  256. 9:15improve your grades, you should not use
  257. 9:17it solely to replace [music] studying.
  258. 9:19If you can use manifestation by
  259. 9:21embodying what it's like to be a high
  260. 9:24achiever, it is literally going to
  261. 9:28rewire your brain. Your brain is going
  262. 9:29[music] to find proof and use that bias
  263. 9:33to create it into your reality to make
  264. 9:35you that high achiever. See, when you
  265. 9:38just focus on the result itself and you
  266. 9:40just focus on [music]
  267. 9:41manifesting studies without necessarily
  268. 9:44studying for an exam [music]
  269. 9:46and getting a high score even without
  270. 9:49studying because I did it's definitely
  271. 9:50possible to manifest a high exam score,
  272. 9:53but what is the meaning in getting that
  273. 9:55exam score [music] if you're not going
  274. 9:57to learn anything. And I understand if
  275. 9:59you need a higher grade to get into this
  276. 10:01college or if you need to advance to
  277. 10:03this next class, if you need to pass
  278. 10:04[music] that class.
  279. 10:06But seriously, if you solely
  280. 10:10rely on scores and manifestation to get
  281. 10:13you that score without actually studying
  282. 10:14the material, what is the point of being
  283. 10:16in that next [music] level class? What's
  284. 10:19the point of being in that college?
  285. 10:20You're not going to learn
  286. 10:22and fill the gaps that you did in that
  287. 10:25previous class that you took, right?
  288. 10:27Let's talk more about the things that
  289. 10:28you can actually do to prove to your
  290. 10:30brain that you are a high achiever and
  291. 10:32things that will accelerate your
  292. 10:33manifestation to getting those exquisite
  293. 10:36grades, your study dedication and
  294. 10:40overall your academic success. One thing
  295. 10:43that I really like to do while [music]
  296. 10:44I'm studying and I think that you should
  297. 10:46do while you're studying to accelerate
  298. 10:48your academic success is listen to
  299. 10:51subliminals while studying because it is
  300. 10:54one of the easiest ways [music] to have
  301. 10:56ex- habit stack and increase your
  302. 10:58productivity while working on your brain
  303. 11:01gains at the same time. [music]
  304. 11:03So it's like
  305. 11:04you're training your brain while you're
  306. 11:05studying, right? But then manifestation
  307. 11:09via subliminal listening also
  308. 11:11accelerates that. And one thing I really
  309. 11:13want to mention, and this is something
  310. 11:15that's recently come to mind, is the
  311. 11:17type of affirmations you're listening to
  312. 11:19because
  313. 11:21I used to struggle with the subliminal
  314. 11:23affirmations because
  315. 11:26when I used to say I like I am when I
  316. 11:30consciously affirm I am, it feels very
  317. 11:32dissonant or at least it felt dissonant
  318. 11:34at first. So I feel like
  319. 11:36for somebody like me, I will I rely more
  320. 11:39on second person affirmations. [music]
  321. 11:41And I've recently been listening to my
  322. 11:43own subliminals that I make with second
  323. 11:44person affirmations and for some reason
  324. 11:46they just work really well. So if you're
  325. 11:49somebody who's
  326. 11:50struggling with [music] subliminal
  327. 11:52affirmations, I would highly suggest
  328. 11:54that you start making your own
  329. 11:55subliminals with second person
  330. 11:57affirmations. So like you are smart, you
  331. 12:00are academically successful, you are a
  332. 12:03high achiever, you have good grades. I
  333. 12:05would recommend testing those out and
  334. 12:07see how they [music] work compared to
  335. 12:09regular affirmations such as I am
  336. 12:11affirmations
  337. 12:12>> [music]
  338. 12:13>> because a lot of subliminals on YouTube
  339. 12:16have the I am affirmations and I feel
  340. 12:18like you are affirmations can be just as
  341. 12:21powerful, if not more, for specific
  342. 12:24individuals who don't feel resonant with
  343. 12:26the I am
  344. 12:27affirmations. Another thing I really
  345. 12:29want to mention is something called
  346. 12:31inspired action and this might come very
  347. 12:34intuitively to you guys, but inspired
  348. 12:36[music] action basically means
  349. 12:38I want you to
  350. 12:40take all of your action based on
  351. 12:41inspiration. I don't want you guys to
  352. 12:43feel like you have to study based from a
  353. 12:45feeling [music] of lack or that you have
  354. 12:47to study or simply that you force
  355. 12:50yourself to study because often our
  356. 12:53mental blocks while study come from
  357. 12:54[music] forced labor. Like when you feel
  358. 12:56like you have to force yourself to
  359. 12:58study, that's when the mental blocks
  360. 12:59come.
  361. 13:00Your best ideas come when you're not in
  362. 13:03a state of distress. You know, like
  363. 13:06when we're like
  364. 13:08awake [music] in the middle of the
  365. 13:09night, often times like we have the best
  366. 13:11ideas or we have the craziest
  367. 13:13epiphanies. The craziest, most [music]
  368. 13:16genius thoughts out there.
  369. 13:18When you get your body into a relaxed
  370. 13:20state, especially if you can get like
  371. 13:22those deep sleep brain waves, and I know
  372. 13:25some people can actually induce those
  373. 13:26brain waves while awake.
  374. 13:28>> [music]
  375. 13:28>> This that actually happens all the time
  376. 13:30during meditation and I personally
  377. 13:32induce deeper, slower brain waves while
  378. 13:35I'm in meditation and it helps me sleep
  379. 13:37much better. It helps me perform so
  380. 13:39[music] much better academically. And I,
  381. 13:43you know, this is crazy, but
  382. 13:44>> [music]
  383. 13:44>> I remember starting my meditation
  384. 13:46journey right around the time when I was
  385. 13:50in my first year of college and
  386. 13:53during my first semester, I actually
  387. 13:55[music]
  388. 13:56had a really strong 4.0 GPA. And aside
  389. 13:59from unintentionally manifesting
  390. 14:01academic success, I feel like
  391. 14:03>> [music]
  392. 14:03>> the meditation also really helped
  393. 14:05support the consistent GPA because I was
  394. 14:09constantly like so relaxed.
  395. 14:11And I almost trained my brain to just be
  396. 14:14[music] chill and not have to stress
  397. 14:15about schoolwork. So even though
  398. 14:19I had a 4.0 GPA during my first [music]
  399. 14:22semester, I was actually able to
  400. 14:24maintain that 4.0 GPA throughout my
  401. 14:27entire 2 years of getting my associate's
  402. 14:29degree. And now that I'm in a four-year
  403. 14:32college, [music] I still have a 4.0 GPA.
  404. 14:35And that's compared to the 3.9 3.69 GPA
  405. 14:40that I had when I graduated high school.
  406. 14:43So and it's crazy because I've been
  407. 14:45working full-time for [music] almost 2
  408. 14:47years at this point and being a
  409. 14:49full-time student at the same time. Like
  410. 14:52if I were to get into like an Ivy League
  411. 14:55college, I would guarantee that I could
  412. 14:57probably still maintain that 4.0 GPA and
  413. 15:00higher because
  414. 15:01>> [music]
  415. 15:02>> I've just utilized like so many aspects
  416. 15:04of my wellness and I've figured out how
  417. 15:07to
  418. 15:09reach out and manage my time, my
  419. 15:11wellness and most importantly just
  420. 15:13embody what it's like to be a high
  421. 15:15achiever and not be distracted by
  422. 15:18all the
  423. 15:19different stimuli of the world and
  424. 15:22basically taking care of myself and just
  425. 15:23realizing that
  426. 15:25my success is already within me. It's
  427. 15:28just about embracing it and reading it
  428. 15:31radiating that energy. And I believe if
  429. 15:33you can take these practical steps
  430. 15:35[music]
  431. 15:36to embody academic success, believe in
  432. 15:39yourself and set aside dedicated time to
  433. 15:42focus and study, you can achieve
  434. 15:45anything. You can really go as far as
  435. 15:47you want academically and
  436. 15:49>> [music]
  437. 15:49>> in any area of your life.
  438. 15:52Thank you guys for watching until the
  439. 15:53end of today's video. I was really,
  440. 15:56really excited to talk about this topic
  441. 15:57with you guys because it was something
  442. 15:59that was requested in the comment
  443. 16:01section of some of my videos.
  444. 16:04So I hope you can learn something from
  445. 16:06today's video and [music] until next
