Full transcript
- 0:00Yo, what's up guys? Today I'll be
- 0:01showing you how to edit this viral text
- 0:03styles on your video. I'm sure you have
- 0:05seen this viral text on Instagram,
- 0:07YouTube, and even Tik Tok. And most
- 0:10videos that are performing usually use
- 0:12this type of text. And if you're not
- 0:14using it on your videos or your
- 0:16customers videos, then my guy, you are
- 0:19behind. So today I'm going to show you
- 0:20how to do these on CapCut. All right, so
- 0:23the first thing you're going to do is
- 0:25upload [music]
- 0:26your video on CapCut. So this is my
- 0:28video over here as you can see. What I
- 0:30like to do is firstly I like to color
- 0:33grade my [music] my my videos. So I'm
- 0:35just going to color grade this. As you
- 0:37can see this video I shot in log,
- 0:39>> [music]
- 0:39>> you know, as log three. So I'm just
- 0:41going to color grade this. And guys,
- 0:45I put that lot. Look, this lot already
- 0:47looks fire, [music] guys. So after I
- 0:49uploaded my lot, of course, everything
- 0:51is fine. Now the first thing I want you
- 0:53to do is [music] basically to add text
- 0:56auto captions.
- 0:58So you add your auto captions. It's
- 1:00going to take like a minute or so.
- 1:02[music] Then once the captions are done,
- 1:03we're not going to use these auto
- 1:05captions, guys. We're going to create
- 1:06our own captions. So this caption is
- 1:09just to give us like a [music] It's just
- 1:11like a guide of what to write. So yeah.
- 1:14So as you can see the auto captions are
- 1:16here, but we're not going to use them.
- 1:17So we go to add text, which is on your
- 1:20top top left. Click on add text. Add a
- 1:22default text. Once you added your
- 1:24default text, [music] type in the first
- 1:27thing the guy says like "I've made 10
- 1:29million plus in income." I've made. So
- 1:31the first two words or if it's a word,
- 1:34you can just write [music] a word. So
- 1:36I'm going to just write "I've made."
- 1:38Okay, guys. Let me give you a quick
- 1:40important tip to making this viral text.
- 1:42[music] To match the look of this text,
- 1:45you need to use these fonts: Montserrat,
- 1:48Poppins, Helvetica, or Arial. [music]
- 1:52If you do not use these fonts, then it
- 1:55won't really look good. [music] So,
- 1:57these fonts bring that minimalistic
- 2:00look. I hope you got that. So, over
- 2:02here, once I just click on my text,
- 2:05>> [music]
- 2:05>> I go on fonts, then I add the Montserrat
- 2:08font. So, you can either use this font
- 2:10or [music] Poppins. Poppins is one of my
- 2:12favorites, but I'm going to use
- 2:13Montserrat cuz it's like more bigger and
- 2:15more bold. So, once I click on that, I
- 2:18want you to [music] go on the character.
- 2:20As you can see, character. Just on this
- 2:22button and make it minus one. This will
- 2:24bring the text [music] together, and
- 2:26that's exactly what you want. Already
- 2:28you can see it's matching the look.
- 2:30Close this. You can already see it's
- 2:31matching the look, which is great. So,
- 2:33the next thing I want you to do is go to
- 2:35the beginning
- 2:37of the text, at the beginning of the
- 2:40text, then click on transform. So, you
- 2:42just scroll down on your panel. This is
- 2:44transform. Click on the key frame.
- 2:47>> [music]
- 2:47>> Then we move one frame forward. To move
- 2:50one frame forward, you just hold shift
- 2:52and the right [music] arrow. This works
- 2:54for Windows and Mac. Guys, I'm using
- 2:56Mac, but you can use you can do the same
- 2:58thing on win I mean on Windows. So,
- 3:00yeah.
- 3:02You can do the same thing on Windows.
- 3:04So, once you do that, you go back to the
- 3:07beginning.
- 3:09You push
- 3:11the text down.
- 3:14Down. Can you see?
- 3:16You push the text [music] down.
- 3:17Then
- 3:18your text is supposed to hover up like
- 3:20this.
- 3:22Exactly. [music]
- 3:23Can you see? So, you make a key frame of
- 3:25the text down, then you make another key
- 3:27frame of the text at the point where you
- 3:29want it to land.
- 3:30>> [music]
- 3:31>> Then it's supposed to hover like this.
- 3:33Perfect. So, now we're going to do the
- 3:34same thing
- 3:36for blend. So, [music] scroll down to
- 3:38blend. We click on the key frame. We
- 3:41make it 0%.
- 3:430%. Then we go to the key frame you
- 3:47already did [music] and make it 100%.
- 3:49Now, look at this.
- 3:52Perfect. We already on 60% I can say,
- 3:55[music] bro. So, now the next thing I
- 3:56want you to do
- 3:58is go to the second key frame
- 4:00and go to the shadows. So, as you can
- 4:03see the text is [music] pretty blend
- 4:05like that. So, sometimes you want to add
- 4:07a shadow just to separate the text from
- 4:09the background. Cuz sometimes maybe your
- 4:10video the person is in a what's this?
- 4:13Let's say a yellow room or their
- 4:14background is just yellow or they close
- 4:16to the wall or something. [music] Then
- 4:18you kind of want to separate the text
- 4:20from the color of the wall and stuff.
- 4:22So, yeah, you use [music] shadows. So,
- 4:24you go on shadows. Here there isn't much
- 4:26of a specific percentage I'd like you to
- 4:29put. I like to keep my opacity around
- 4:32like 26% [music]
- 4:34then my my blurriness around the same
- 4:3726%.
- 4:38Then at distance and angle I just leave
- 4:41it the [music] same. You know, I don't
- 4:42need to touch that. Now, we move on to
- 4:45the next step. I want you to double
- 4:47click or right click if you're using
- 4:49Windows and go to show variables. Show
- 4:52variable speed and animation. [music]
- 4:54So, you once you click on that it's
- 4:56going to bring up this
- 4:58you know, I know a lot of y'all are
- 4:59like, "Damn, CapCut had that?"
- 5:02I never knew CapCut had that. But yes,
- 5:04CapCut has that. I also just found out.
- 5:06So, click on Y axis, right? Y axis is
- 5:09the transform key frame. So, once you
- 5:13click on that you highlight both the key
- 5:16frames. [music] If you want to highlight
- 5:17you just click and highlight both. Then
- 5:20you right click.
- 5:22Right click on your mouse if you're
- 5:23using Windows or if you're using a mouse
- 5:25I'm using a keypad. [music] Then show
- 5:27all presets. Click on show all presets.
- 5:30So, what you want to use is quad ease.
- 5:33Click on quad ease, [music] guys. Once
- 5:34you click on quad ease, can you see?
- 5:36There's like two lines that popped up.
- 5:38So, I want you to take the top key frame
- 5:40line and drag it towards the beginning.
- 5:43So, what this does it makes the text
- 5:45move fast and slow.
- 5:47>> [music]
- 5:47>> You get it? I don't know if it's fast
- 5:48and slow or slow than fast, but you get
- 5:50the point. So now
- 5:52once you you do that, look at the text.
- 5:54Look how the text moves. Super sick.
- 5:57Compared to
- 6:01Did you see Can you see the difference?
- 6:03>> [music]
- 6:03>> Super sick. So now I want you to remove
- 6:06this window. So you just hide the speed
- 6:08animation. Right click and hide the
- 6:09speed animation. So now we're back. So
- 6:12what I like to do now, I like to
- 6:14duplicate hate this I've made, then you
- 6:17kind of like hide and lock this one. So
- 6:21we're [music] keeping the original just
- 6:22for reference in case you want to do
- 6:24other edits, you know? [music] So now we
- 6:26come back to this. So like what I like
- 6:28to do is make this a compound. So to
- 6:31make this a compound, you just right
- 6:33click again and create compound. Once
- 6:35you make this a
- 6:37a compound, now you can just move it
- 6:39around. You see? This [music] is why.
- 6:41Cuz if you just this, you wouldn't be
- 6:43able to move it around. You get what I'm
- 6:44saying? Like [music] if you moved it
- 6:46around, it makes a key frame. So now
- 6:49you see? So that's why I say you must
- 6:50make it a compound so you avoid making
- 6:52mistakes like that. So what I like doing
- 6:55>> [music]
- 6:55>> since I have this set, I like playing
- 6:57around with the text around the video.
- 7:00>> I've made 10 million
- 7:02>> I've made
- 7:03>> I've made 10 million plus in e-com.
- 7:05>> 10 million plus. So I if I want to reuse
- 7:08the the same text, I just duplicate it.
- 7:12Then I write 10 million over here.
- 7:1510
- 7:16million.
- 7:18Um
- 7:2010 million. I just edit from the text.
- 7:24Can you see?
- 7:25I just edited from the text. I can even
- 7:27increase the text style.
- 7:28>> I've made 10 million plus in
- 7:30>> See? It's so simple. But guys, sometimes
- 7:33it's not just about making the text.
- 7:35Yes, you can make the text, but now you
- 7:36have to match the look and you have to
- 7:38make it look aesthetic. So what we do
- 7:40now, I'll show you another hack. Let's
- 7:42bring this Let's make this font a bit
- 7:44down. Sometimes I like going into the
- 7:47font
- 7:48then I just increase the font size a bit
- 7:51here.
- 7:52Then I like changing the color. So, let
- 7:54me show you how to change the color. So,
- 7:56I go on this key frame I key frame
- 7:58color.
- 8:00Right? I key frame color then I probably
- 8:02go like a few frames [music] in front
- 8:06then I make it this red reddish kind of
- 8:10color. This is the the the name of the
- 8:12red if you want to you know copy the
- 8:14same red and yeah. Now when I go back,
- 8:17look what it's going to do.
- 8:18>> I've made 10 million plus in
- 8:19>> Ooh, that's super [music] sick. So, now
- 8:22I just put it over here. So, now if I
- 8:24want I can just put this make [music]
- 8:26this in caps so it's like it looks yeah.
- 8:29See how sick that looks.
- 8:32This looks sick.
- 8:34>> I've made 10 million plus in eCom.
- 8:37>> Plus, you see I can copy and paste this
- 8:40>> [music]
- 8:40>> and probably make a plus sign.
- 8:43Plus sign.
- 8:45Then I put the plus sign over here.
- 8:48Or I can even make the plus sign even
- 8:50bigger just to
- 8:52you know.
- 8:53>> I've made 10 million plus in
- 8:5510 million plus in eCom.
- 8:58>> in eCom.
- 9:00You see?
- 9:01So, now
- 9:03I can put this
- 9:05then I write in
- 9:07eCom in eCom. Fire. This looks amazing.
- 9:11Let me just hide the bottom text.
- 9:12>> I've made 10 million plus in eCom.
- 9:15>> Ooh, a hack that I also like to add. Can
- 9:18you see the text?
- 9:21It doesn't look nice. It's just you
- 9:22know, the text is just disappearing
- 9:24otherwise. So, what I like doing is just
- 9:26moving this together.
- 9:28Then I go on animation.
- 9:31I've go to out fade out. I like it when
- 9:34I like it when it fades out, you see?
- 9:36Fade out.
- 9:38Fade out.
- 9:40Fade out.
- 9:43Good. Now, look at it.
- 9:45>> I've made 10 million plus in e-com, and
- 9:47if you had to ask me to start again
- 9:49>> Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh.
- 9:51Now, you can just add more text like and
- 9:53if I if you had
- 9:55So, I use the this text as reference and
- 9:58if
- 10:01And if you had
- 10:03and
- 10:05I'm just going to write and if
- 10:09I make it small this time, then I
- 10:11duplicate it. So, just to not delay the
- 10:13video any longer, I just continued
- 10:16adding text by duplicating the layers
- 10:18and just editing the text. So, guys, you
- 10:21can do the same process. And just cuz
- 10:23you stayed until the end, let me give
- 10:25you one hack that you can use to make
- 10:28your videos extra cool.
- 10:30What I like doing also, I go to this
- 10:32website called Vic Vic Tazy, something
- 10:35like that. So, this site I use it for
- 10:38for getting like PNGs
- 10:41or stock footage, red line. Red line.
- 10:46I search red line.
- 10:48I can take one
- 10:50from here or I just go on PNG
- 10:52cuz I I I want to Yeah. See, this is
- 10:55what I'm looking for.
- 10:57Cuz I want to actually [music] scratch
- 10:59the text. Okay, I can use this.
- 11:02It's not bad. I download now.
- 11:06Hey guys, I'm giving you a lot of you
- 11:09a lot of like like clean stuff, like
- 11:12value, guys. As an editor, if you
- 11:14editing for your own page or something,
- 11:16yeah. I add it on the timeline, then
- 11:18look at that.
- 11:20Look at how sick that looks. So, now
- 11:22what I do is once it says from scratch,
- 11:26probably put
- 11:27>> from scratch
- 11:28>> See, scratch.
- 11:30Then, I go on mask. I choose split.
- 11:34I choose split.
- 11:36I angle this thing, then then I can just
- 11:39move it like that. So, I'm going to come
- 11:41at the beginning.
- 11:43I key frame it. Key frame it. Then, I go
- 11:46to the end of when he say scratch. It
- 11:49could be anywhere in the video.
- 11:50>> [music]
- 11:51>> Then, I scratch it out.
- 11:53Then, this is what it's going to do.
- 11:55Add a look.
- 11:56>> game from scratch
- 11:58>> Fire, but let me make it faster.
- 12:00>> game from scratch tomorrow game from
- 12:03scratch
- 12:04>> You get it?
- 12:06From scratch, then it can just disappear
- 12:09like in a in a different way. Probably
- 12:12like
- 12:16scratch tomorrow, then I add like
- 12:19tomorrow at the top. Tomorrow.
- 12:23Ooh.
- 12:24>> game from scratch [music]
- 12:25tomorrow no audience
- 12:28>> Fire.
- 12:31>> I've made 10 million plus in income. And
- 12:33if you had to ask me to start a game
- 12:35from scratch tomorrow, no audience, no
- 12:38money, no unfair advantages, I generally
- 12:41would not do anything the same way that
- 12:44I did when I started.
