  10. 0:17different things about your personality,
  11. 0:18and you're going to go to someone who
  12. 0:21actually loves themselves,
  13. 0:23doesn't trigger any self-doubt, and most
  14. 0:26importantly, you're going to be able to
  15. 0:27do the things that you actually want to
  16. 0:28do.
  17. 0:29People are going to go up to you and see
  18. 0:30you as a positive person. Your complete
  19. 0:33mindset is going to change about
  20. 0:34yourself with this thing that I'm going
  21. 0:37to tell you in this video that has
  22. 0:38completely changed my social life and
  23. 0:40how I view myself.
  24. 0:41>> [snorts]
  25. 0:42>> Now,
  26. 0:43you might be like, "Oh, how do I know
  27. 0:45about this?
  28. 0:46What's my saying this?"
  29. 0:48The reason why I know about this is
  30. 0:49because I remember when I was little,
  31. 0:52I absolutely hated every single thing
  32. 0:54about me.
  33. 0:55I remember when I was in
  34. 0:58young school, like middle school, high
  35. 0:59school, I remember I would pray to God
  36. 1:01himself that he would change every
  37. 1:04single aspect about me and help me to be
  38. 1:06someone else.
  39. 1:07Because that's how much I despised I
  40. 1:09despise myself. I remember I hated the
  41. 1:12way I looked. I remember that I would
  42. 1:14try to make conversations with people
  43. 1:17and try to make friends, but no one
  44. 1:19would want to talk to me. People would
  45. 1:21talk to me for 5 seconds and then go
  46. 1:23away.
  47. 1:24I remember
  48. 1:26just being completely embarrassed about
  49. 1:28who I was, who my family was, and it
  50. 1:32really sucks because
  51. 1:33I remember that I looked around me and
  52. 1:37most people around me seemed to have
  53. 1:39like really good self-confidence, make
  54. 1:41friends, be able to say things on their
  55. 1:44mind. And I remember this one time when
  56. 1:45I was in high school,
  57. 1:47there's this guy, he was kind of like he
  58. 1:49was really popular, and I remember he
  59. 1:51was telling one of my classmates, he was
  60. 1:53just like, "Yeah, bro, like I I'm
  61. 1:56I'm just so in love with myself. Like
  62. 1:59And I was just like
  63. 2:01How do I get that self-confidence when I
  64. 2:03don't have it? And so, throughout years
  65. 2:06of experimentation, years of reading
  66. 2:08self-development books, and watching
  67. 2:10lots of videos, and doing lots of
  68. 2:12research, I've got something that is
  69. 2:14just like the catalyst for developing
  70. 2:17that self-love.
  71. 2:18And that thing is simply just doing a
  72. 2:21bunch of hard things and going through a
  73. 2:24bunch of hard experiences.
  74. 2:26Now, you might be like, "Oh, what are
  75. 2:27you talking about? Like, my life's
  76. 2:29already hard. I don't want to go through
  77. 2:30anything."
  78. 2:31But, the fact of the matter is is that
  79. 2:33hard experiences
  80. 2:35build us, okay? Now, for example,
  81. 2:38imagine you're some military guy.
  82. 2:40Going through like the military is
  83. 2:41extremely hard, you know? You're going
  84. 2:43[snorts] away from your family. You are
  85. 2:45You're fighting for your country. You're
  86. 2:47doing lots of physical training. You're
  87. 2:49learning lots of things. It's hard. It's
  88. 2:50rigorous.
  89. 2:52But, imagine you leave the military,
  90. 2:55and you got a couple of
  91. 2:58people in retail trying to like
  92. 3:00mess with you, cut in line,
  93. 3:02try to mess with you. You got people
  94. 3:03messing with you in your life. It's just
  95. 3:04like
  96. 3:05you literally went through
  97. 3:07a whole physical training in another
  98. 3:09country. You fought for your country.
  99. 3:10You had experience with guns,
  100. 3:13with weapons. You
  101. 3:16did so many physical tests in the rain.
  102. 3:19You ran in the rain. You climbed You got
  103. 3:22You climbed mountains. You were climbing
  104. 3:24training. It's just like why would you
  105. 3:25fear these people?
  106. 3:28And so, you might be like, "Oh, but I
  107. 3:30can't go through anything that hard."
  108. 3:31But, the thing is
  109. 3:33one simple hard task is enough to get
  110. 3:36you going.
  111. 3:37I remember
  112. 3:38when I was in middle school, something I
  113. 3:42hated about myself was that I was
  114. 3:43Latino,
  115. 3:44but I couldn't speak Spanish.
  116. 3:46And so, I remember like all the Latino
  117. 3:48kids would make fun of me because I was
  118. 3:50brown hair brown skin
  119. 3:52black hair, and I couldn't speak it. And
  120. 3:54so, I was like, "You know what? Let me
  121. 3:56go through the hard process of learning
  122. 3:57it."
  123. 3:59So, I spent the hours learning, the
  124. 4:02hours listening to music, the hours
  125. 4:03dealing with the outcast and me messing
  126. 4:06up. And now that I speak it fluently,
  127. 4:09it's given me the confidence to speak
  128. 4:10with native people.
  129. 4:12And so, that self-love just really comes
  130. 4:15from developing a bunch new skills. And
  131. 4:18it And it could be anything. Like it it
  132. 4:20You don't have to go through like the
  133. 4:21hardest task in the world.
  134. 4:23You simply just want to develop
  135. 4:24experiences
  136. 4:26that make you proud of yourself.
  137. 4:29It It can be a hard experience. Like you
  138. 4:31can you can go to the military and you
  139. 4:32come back
  140. 4:33a plainly different. You can like go do
  141. 4:36martial arts and like judo and boxing
  142. 4:38and BJJ.
  143. 4:40That's fine. That's definitely going to
  144. 4:41give you confidence. But simply just
  145. 4:43doing hard things,
  146. 4:45going through experiences that make you
  147. 4:46proud of yourself. So, for example, I
  148. 4:48remember this year,
  149. 4:50I was helping a roommate.
  150. 4:52And he was like, "Hey, I don't really
  151. 4:53know how to cook."
  152. 4:55But I was like, "You know what? I got
  153. 4:56you, bro. I'm going to show you how to
  154. 4:57cook. I'm going to help you make some
  155. 4:59I'm going to tell you how to marinate
  156. 5:00chicken. You know, you get a rice
  157. 5:02cooker, put some rice You got some easy,
  158. 5:05high-protein, low-carb meal."
  159. 5:08And that made me feel really proud of
  160. 5:10myself because
  161. 5:12I was teaching someone
  162. 5:14something that I knew how to do that he
  163. 5:15didn't.
  164. 5:16And a task and an experience simply just
  165. 5:19as cooking
  166. 5:21helped me help him, which made him feel
  167. 5:23a lot better. And so, it's simply just
  168. 5:26doing things that make you feel good
  169. 5:27about yourself. Don't like your
  170. 5:28hairstyle?
  171. 5:30How big forehead?
  172. 5:31Get the experience of changing that
  173. 5:33hairstyle.
  174. 5:34You don't like your body?
  175. 5:37Lose weight. It's It's a lot easier. And
  176. 5:39so, these things that you don't like
  177. 5:41about yourself,
  178. 5:43you want to simply go through a bunch of
  179. 5:44experiences that make you proud of
  180. 5:46yourself. Doing new things, doing hard
  181. 5:48things, and then once you establish
  182. 5:50that,
  183. 5:51once you establish multiple things, it's
  184. 5:54like
  185. 5:55you meet someone who intimidates you,
  186. 5:58who maybe is a little more shy than you,
  187. 6:00but it's just like you think to
  188. 6:01yourself, I've been through so many
  189. 6:04experiences of, you know, cooking,
  190. 6:07going through martial arts, learning a
  191. 6:09language. Like,
  192. 6:10>> [snorts]
  193. 6:10>> these are experiences that
  194. 6:12people cannot take away from you.
  195. 6:14And so that's what makes you proud of
  196. 6:16yourselves. And once you do multiple
  197. 6:18things,
  198. 6:19it gives you that self-love, which is
  199. 6:22how basically kind of got me my
  200. 6:23confidence because it's just like I went
  201. 6:26from this
  202. 6:27really intimidated guy, this really shy
  203. 6:30guy, hate everything about myself, but I
  204. 6:32changed it.
  205. 6:33Changed the way I looked to a
  206. 6:35a way uh to an appearance that I do
  207. 6:37like, you know, build muscle in gym to
  208. 6:40be more intimidating, went through new
  209. 6:41experiences, went into car sales,
  210. 6:43started cooking, started
  211. 6:46the learning about different things and
  212. 6:48different philosophical ideas. It's just
  213. 6:50like those are the things that you have
  214. 6:52to build up in order to get that
  215. 6:53self-love. So, like, share, subscribe,
  216. 6:55and I'll see you in the next one. Peace.
