- 0:00it is official you guys this video
- 0:01should be going live on Monday is
- 0:03September 4th which means that tomorrow
- 0:05is my 30th birthday I cannot believe
- 0:09that I have finally hit this dirty 30 I
- 0:12am honestly just so grateful and blessed
- 0:14that I have lived a happy and healthy
- 0:16life thus far and to sort of commemorate
- 0:19and celebrate my birthday I thought it
- 0:20would be fun to share 30 things I've
- 0:22learned in my 30 years on this Earth
- 0:25that have helped me live my life to the
- 0:26fullest Chase my dreams be successful
- 0:29not only in my my career but also in my
- 0:31marriage having a beautiful home and
- 0:33more and before I get into it remember
- 0:35that these are things that I've learned
- 0:37not things that I've mastered so I'm
- 0:40still definitely working on some of
- 0:41these so with that grab a beverage and
- 0:44let's get cozy and have a little
- 0:45chitchat I poured a little Sparkling Ice
- 0:48I've been loving this grape raspberry
- 0:50flavor that they have so cheers and
- 0:53let's dive into it so first is to be
- 0:56super mindful about who you let into
- 0:58your life and into your inner circle the
- 1:00people closest to you can truly impact
- 1:02how you view yourself how successful you
- 1:04are in your career how driven you are
- 1:06they can also kind of tear you down
- 1:08sometimes and your inner circle can
- 1:09really have a huge impact on your mental
- 1:12health your happiness your success all
- 1:13of it so be super Mindful and particular
- 1:16about who you let Into Your Inner Circle
- 1:18two is that people can change if it is
- 1:21their decision to do so I feel like as
- 1:23I've grown learned matured I have
- 1:26changed I've changed since I was in high
- 1:28school I've changed since I was even in
- 1:29college even in the last year like
- 1:31having new job I've learned new things
- 1:33learned how to become a new person so I
- 1:34think people really can change but it
- 1:36definitely has to be their decision you
- 1:38can't force someone to change but if
- 1:40they decide to do so don't be afraid to
- 1:42give somebody a second chance if they
- 1:44have proven that they are a little bit
- 1:45different than they were a couple of
- 1:47years ago number three is that it is
- 1:49okay to not be okay sometimes honestly
- 1:52going through these ups and downs that
- 1:53I've experienced over this last year of
- 1:55getting laid off there's been times
- 1:56where I feel like I have to be super
- 1:58strong and I can't you know be
- 2:00vulnerable and show and share like how
- 2:02I'm actually feeling you know I want to
- 2:03be the best version of myself for my
- 2:05husband I want to be super bubbly and
- 2:07outgoing to meet new people in a new
- 2:09city but honestly sometimes life is
- 2:11really hard and it's okay to like feel
- 2:13those feelings do whatever you need to
- 2:15do to like work through them and just
- 2:17know that it's okay to not be 100% all
- 2:20the time number four I love this one and
- 2:22it is to talk to yourself the way that
- 2:24your like partner husband best friend
- 2:27mom whoever would talk to you pick the
- 2:30person that you think maybe like adors
- 2:31you the most in the world and think
- 2:34about how they would speak to you would
- 2:36they ever say things like wow you are
- 2:38such an idiot for forgetting your keys
- 2:40in the car hopefully not they also
- 2:43probably wouldn't be like picking your
- 2:45physical appearance apart like in the
- 2:47mirror and things like that so when I
- 2:49kind of learned this perspective as far
- 2:51as like self-affirmations and positive
- 2:54selft talk one way that I really liked
- 2:55to think about it was thinking about the
- 2:57way that like my husband would
- 2:59compliment me the way that he would say
- 3:01nice things about me and he would never
- 3:03say things that I might say to myself
- 3:05when I'm in like a negative state so
- 3:07when it comes to like positive
- 3:08affirmations I always try and think
- 3:09about you know like what my husband
- 3:11would say to me and how he would say it
- 3:13and think about that for the lens that I
- 3:14use to think about how I talk to myself
- 3:16if that makes sense number five this is
- 3:18one a big one that I've learned this
- 3:19year is that you are always going to be
- 3:22disposable to another company so take
- 3:24your finances into your own hands create
- 3:27multiple income streams so that you will
- 3:29never be 100% dependent on a company or
- 3:32for that matter even just like one
- 3:34source of income for me I'm really
- 3:36trying to diversify my income stream by
- 3:38having like YouTube income hopefully
- 3:41like can grow some of my other social
- 3:42media channels creating an online
- 3:44website which if you haven't checked
- 3:46that out make sure you go check it out
- 3:47it's down in my description box I really
- 3:49want to start a podcast with Chris we
- 3:51also have Investments that are paying us
- 3:53like dividends growing our income
- 3:54through that one day I want to own
- 3:56rental properties so I'm thinking about
- 3:58different kind of sources of income that
- 4:00I can create so that I'm never ever
- 4:02again dependent on one source of income
- 4:04learning number six I wish I knew this
- 4:06one when I was like 10 years old this is
- 4:08to invest your money as early as
- 4:10possible as young as possible and as
- 4:12much as possible I mean I could have a
- 4:14whole video talking about investing the
- 4:16pros and cons and like why you should be
- 4:17investing how it can generate you
- 4:19millions of dollars through the span of
- 4:20your life that is going to be too long
- 4:22for this video but investing your money
- 4:24as much as you can and as early as you
- 4:26can will ultimately set you up for such
- 4:28a more comfortable future in life and I
- 4:32wish that I had started investing in the
- 4:33stock market when I was like 10 years
- 4:35old even if it was only like 20 bucks a
- 4:37month for my allowance like I wish that
- 4:38I had done that but you know what there
- 4:40is no time like the present start now if
- 4:42you haven't started investing life
- 4:44lesson number seven is to live below
- 4:46your means I feel like you know I kind
- 4:49of had to figure this out as I went make
- 4:51decisions when it comes to buying a car
- 4:53buying a house buying clothes and
- 4:55expenses and stuff like what you
- 4:57actually can spend and how much
- 5:00flexibility you have in your spending
- 5:01money and make sure you are living below
- 5:03that saving and again investing every
- 5:05single month all right life lesson
- 5:07number eight is that keeping up with the
- 5:09Joneses as they say will never fulfill
- 5:11you think about the things that you
- 5:13actually want in your life if you want a
- 5:15really really nice car a super specific
- 5:17car then great get that car but don't
- 5:20always look at what other people have
- 5:21compare yourself to them and then think
- 5:24oh well they got a new car so now I want
- 5:25a new car or they got a boat so now I
- 5:27want a boat I don't know those are just
- 5:28examples it's totally okay to want nice
- 5:32things a new car a new house whatever I
- 5:35don't know but always be connected to
- 5:36like a deeper meaning to why you want
- 5:38that thing and never because you're
- 5:40comparing yourself to somebody else and
- 5:42what they have that will never make you
- 5:44happy cuz you'll always be kind of
- 5:45chasing something that doesn't actually
- 5:47fulfill you so think about the things
- 5:48that you genuinely really want in life
- 5:50rather than trying to find fulfillment
- 5:52from things that other people have life
- 5:54lesson number nine is to try your best
- 5:56to embrace the challenges in life I
- 5:57talked about this in my starting over
- 5:59video and I know that it's hard when
- 6:02life happens things suck losing your job
- 6:04sucks sickness in your family sucks all
- 6:06of it like all of these things happen to
- 6:08us and there's not much you can do to
- 6:11control them to change them or anything
- 6:13like that but if you learn how to kind
- 6:15of embrace these challenges in life
- 6:16you'll be able to learn you'll be able
- 6:18to grow you'll be able to adapt you'll
- 6:19be able to find peace in a new life that
- 6:22you maybe didn't think was even possible
- 6:24before I think that's definitely true
- 6:25for me with placing unemployment if I
- 6:28hadn't embraced this change this
- 6:30challenge I never would have started a
- 6:32YouTube channel things suck in the
- 6:33moment but you never know what like good
- 6:35might come of it life lesson number 10
- 6:37is to challenge your mind to learn new
- 6:40things one of the easiest ways that I
- 6:41like to do this is through like personal
- 6:43development style books I like to read a
- 6:45lot of those I like to learn about
- 6:46investing learn about business learn
- 6:48about different diets and ways that I
- 6:50can be eating I think it's interesting
- 6:52because we go through school for 18
- 6:54years or however long some people go for
- 6:56a lot longer than that and all of a
- 6:58sudden we stop learning we kind of get
- 6:59get stuck in just doing our job day over
- 7:01day we can sometimes forget like how
- 7:03powerful it is to learn new things and
- 7:05grow it doesn't have to be like through
- 7:07listening to books like I do but it
- 7:09could be through learning a new sport
- 7:11picking up a new hobby anything really
- 7:13you could teach yourself a a new
- 7:15language doesn't matter just challenge
- 7:16yourself to learn new things life lesson
- 7:18number 11 is to travel and experience
- 7:21new cultures this one is so so important
- 7:23to me because I feel like when I go and
- 7:26I travel and I experience new cultures
- 7:27I'm able to understand how other people
- 7:30live their life I'm able to gain
- 7:32perspective on my own life it really
- 7:34helps me kind of truly value all of the
- 7:36things that I do have in my life it
- 7:38makes me very grateful for my house my
- 7:41family my dog all sorts of things it can
- 7:44just be a very very eye openening it can
- 7:47help you have a better grasp on society
- 7:50it can help you form better opinions
- 7:52about your own life so yeah do your best
- 7:55to travel experience cultures experience
- 7:57the world there is just so so much out
- 7:59there that most of us don't know about
- 8:01and it's on the other end of a flight
- 8:04life lesson number 12 is that I'm
- 8:06finding that memories are worth more
- 8:08than possessions for me this kind of
- 8:10goes back to the last one with traveling
- 8:12I am at a point right now where I would
- 8:14rather spend my money on a trip to go
- 8:16experience a new culture see a new
- 8:19country try new foods and things like
- 8:21that over buying a new car or I don't
- 8:24know like things for the house or stuff
- 8:26like that I mean every person is
- 8:27different but think about the things
- 8:29that you really really want and for me
- 8:32that is memories experiences I want to
- 8:35experience things with my family I want
- 8:36to experience things with my husband and
- 8:38in 50 years from now will I care about a
- 8:40Louis Vuitton bag or will I care about
- 8:42remembering that amazing experience I
- 8:43had with my husband while we were in
- 8:46Africa or wherever that's the way that I
- 8:48think about it I know everyone is
- 8:49different but my point is that for me
- 8:51memories are worth so much more than
- 8:53possessions and I want to be spending my
- 8:55money on that life lesson number 13 is
- 8:58to do do the things that actually make
- 9:00you happy for me this is something that
- 9:03I felt very strongly about like a little
- 9:06bit over a year ago year and a half ago
- 9:07when Chris nyatt made the decision to
- 9:10move to Vegas originally it wasn't
- 9:11specifically Vegas but I wanted to move
- 9:14somewhere that was really sunny I was
- 9:15feeling very depressed by the weather in
- 9:18Seattle every single winter it was like
- 9:20at least 6 months long if not like 9
- 9:22months long and it was really really
- 9:24getting to me from a mental perspective
- 9:26I wanted to try out living somewhere
- 9:28really sunny and see if that like helped
- 9:30out my mental health and it has that was
- 9:31a really hard decision because we have
- 9:33family in Washington our close friends
- 9:35were in Washington like my niece is up
- 9:37there I didn't want to leave that but I
- 9:39also had to think about myself and what
- 9:40I needed to do to make me the happiest
- 9:43in this case it was to move to a sunnier
- 9:45location for some people it might be
- 9:47starting a new job or I don't know
- 9:49breaking up with somebody that they
- 9:51shouldn't be with or cutting a friend
- 9:53out of their lives I don't know whatever
- 9:54it is do the things that you need to do
- 9:57to be happy because ultim timately at
- 9:59the end of the day the only thing that
- 10:00matters is your happiness life tip
- 10:03number 14 is to drink water if you guys
- 10:05have been following my channel you know
- 10:07I drink a lot of water I have like I
- 10:10think like four analin a day which is
- 10:12like 4 L or about a gallon water is
- 10:14literally so important for every single
- 10:17bodily function if you're not drinking
- 10:18enough water you could be dehydrated and
- 10:20not even know it drinking enough water
- 10:22can help improve your joint pain it's
- 10:24good for skin elasticity as we age it
- 10:27physically helps your like blood move
- 10:29through your body as well as all of your
- 10:31organs functioning I think somebody once
- 10:33described it to me as like the oil in
- 10:35your car your car needs oil to keep all
- 10:38of the parts physically moving that's
- 10:40how our body needs water I have been
- 10:41drinking tons and tons of water since
- 10:44high school it started because I was on
- 10:46a cross country team and everyone had
- 10:48the had the N jeans and I wanted one too
- 10:50so I got a Nene and ever since then I've
- 10:52drank a lot of water life lesson number
- 10:5515 is to treat my body with the respect
- 10:57that it deserves for me the this means
- 10:59drinking water like I was just talking
- 11:01about eating high quality foods that
- 11:03make me feel good having a good skincare
- 11:05routine taking care of my face my body
- 11:08all of it we are given one body in this
- 11:10life so I think that we should treat it
- 11:12with respect and do everything that we
- 11:14can do to prolong its life and when I
- 11:17give my body like high quality tasty
- 11:20food I feel good and it's just this like
- 11:22feed back Loop so treat my body with
- 11:25respect and ultimately that will just
- 11:27like make you feel better feel happier
- 11:29and who doesn't want that life lesson
- 11:31number 16 is to move my body so
- 11:34obviously I have gotten really into
- 11:36lifting weights and that started in like
- 11:392017 I think like right around when
- 11:41Christmas started dating overall I have
- 11:43found that on days where I'm getting
- 11:45steps in I'm moving my body whether that
- 11:47be going for a run going to the gym
- 11:50whatever I just feel better inside I
- 11:53feel better mentally feel like I have a
- 11:55clearer mind I don't feel sluggish it
- 11:57like sometimes even helps to to wake me
- 11:59up and walking and moving your body can
- 12:01actually help prolong your life by
- 12:03reducing fat keeping your organs healthy
- 12:05and all of that so for me walking moving
- 12:08my body are just like crucial parts of
- 12:10my day that are non-negotiable and are
- 12:13truly so so important to me life lesson
- 12:15number 17 is that your time is your most
- 12:18precious resource this one has become so
- 12:21important to me over these last couple
- 12:23of months after I've been laid off after
- 12:25I'm thinking about going back to a new
- 12:27job as I'm applying to jobs I do not
- 12:29want to go back to a company where I
- 12:30feel miserable I was working different
- 12:32jobs prior to getting laid off and there
- 12:35were a few different jobs that I was in
- 12:36where I truly like did not want to go to
- 12:38work I was miserable every single
- 12:40workday I had the Sunday scaries every
- 12:42week and that is just like not a life
- 12:44that I want to live we are given one
- 12:47life our time is incredibly valuable and
- 12:50precious I don't want to waste that I
- 12:52think this is also true for the people
- 12:54that you're spending your time with or
- 12:56the things that you're going to the
- 12:57events that you're going to just all of
- 12:59those things like you have to realize
- 13:00how valuable your time is you will never
- 13:03get a day back you will never get a year
- 13:04back remember that your time is like one
- 13:06of your most valuable resources if not
- 13:09the most valuable resource that you have
- 13:10and use it wisely life lesson number 18
- 13:13is basically like quality over quantity
- 13:15and I feel like this is true in every
- 13:17aspect of my life this is something that
- 13:19I'm still very much working on too which
- 13:21is like food for example quality of food
- 13:24is more important to me than quantity I
- 13:26think about this with friendships I have
- 13:27a couple really really solid friends
- 13:29here in Vegas and to that point like it
- 13:31becomes so much more important to have
- 13:34high quality friendships over tons of
- 13:36friends like we did in high school same
- 13:37goes for the things that I buy Lulu
- 13:39Lemon is a great example of this because
- 13:42I have had like the same pair of black
- 13:44leggings for like 8 years and they're
- 13:46high quality yeah I spent $100 on them
- 13:49but I've only had to buy one pair so I'm
- 13:51thinking about this with not only the
- 13:53food I'm eating the people in my life
- 13:55but also like possessions I'm buying I
- 13:57want things to last and I want them to
- 13:59be high quality life lesson number 19 is
- 14:01that gratitude and staying present in
- 14:04the moment are like the most powerful
- 14:06tools I think for reducing anxiety
- 14:10reducing depression and living a happier
- 14:13life this is one that I'm working on
- 14:14every single day I struggle with anxiety
- 14:17it's something that is ever presentent
- 14:18for me so one way that I try to reduce
- 14:21it is I literally look at the things
- 14:23around me and I asked myself like is
- 14:24there anything actually wrong in this
- 14:26exact moment right now no I am healthy I
- 14:29have a beautiful house like I'm sitting
- 14:31outside in the sunshine you know I have
- 14:33a great husband I have the best dog all
- 14:35these little things add up and focusing
- 14:38on the things that you do have positive
- 14:40things in your life and physically being
- 14:41present in the moment instead of like
- 14:43letting your mind wander about what
- 14:45could happen what has happened in the
- 14:47past Etc like that is such a powerful
- 14:49tool if you can Master it to truly
- 14:52living a happier life life lesson number
- 14:5520 is that sleep is very important
- 14:59sleep impacts every single aspect of Our
- 15:01Lives whether it be decision-making
- 15:03abilities being able to have coherent
- 15:06thoughts being able to have productive
- 15:09strategic conversations being able to be
- 15:12creative being able to focus every
- 15:14single thing comes back to how well
- 15:17you're sleeping for some reason when it
- 15:18comes down to like working A busy life
- 15:21having a lot going on cutting out sleep
- 15:23is like the first thing that people do
- 15:25they're like oh I'll just like wake up
- 15:26early and work on this project it's no a
- 15:28big deal or it's fine I can stay up late
- 15:31and study or whatever but you actually
- 15:33need sleep in order to be more effective
- 15:35with your time to get more done at work
- 15:38to be able to remember things and study
- 15:39better I used to definitely like pull a
- 15:41lot of late nights in college even in my
- 15:44early 20s but now that I'm 30 years old
- 15:48I am realizing how important sleep is
- 15:51for my functionality for being a nice
- 15:54human being sleep is the most important
- 15:55thing do what you need to do in order to
- 15:58get a full night night sleep just give
- 15:59it a shot for like a couple weeks and
- 16:01see if anything changes life lesson
- 16:03number 21 I only have 10 more for you
- 16:05guys so this one is to connect with
- 16:08nature I know not everyone out there is
- 16:10like super into outdoorsy things like
- 16:13camping and hiking and that type of
- 16:15thing you don't have to go be super
- 16:16outdoorsy to connect with nature I
- 16:19personally think that connecting with
- 16:20nature and therefore like disconnecting
- 16:23from technology really helps to ground
- 16:25me sometimes this just means like going
- 16:27for a walk we have a little Trail by our
- 16:29house and it's so nice even though it's
- 16:31like in our neighborhood there's houses
- 16:32around and stuff when I'm on those walks
- 16:34I'm really like focusing on the trees
- 16:36and how pretty the trees look and the
- 16:38grass and the plants and the flowers and
- 16:41I'm looking up at the sky and I'm
- 16:42looking at the clouds and what I'm not
- 16:44doing is I'm not looking at my phone
- 16:46this is like one of my favorite things
- 16:48to do when I'm feeling anxious when I'm
- 16:50feeling stressed when I'm feeling down
- 16:52in general going for walks outside being
- 16:54in nature just looking at trees
- 16:57genuinely helps helps my mental health
- 17:00my mindset and makes me feel happier
- 17:02life lesson number 22 is self-care again
- 17:06this one something I feel like I've been
- 17:07learning over these last couple of
- 17:09months after getting laid off I feel
- 17:10like I have had more time to practice
- 17:12self-care and I've put more value on it
- 17:14by doing these little things whether it
- 17:16be like one big self-care day where I do
- 17:18like a face mask a hair mess a bubble
- 17:20bath paint my nails whatever like a
- 17:22whole big day like that can really help
- 17:25me reset and feel good about myself and
- 17:28by practice practicing self-care you're
- 17:29there like creating a better mindset for
- 17:32yourself to make decisions about things
- 17:33that are going on in your life whether
- 17:34it be like about a job career
- 17:37relationship whatever and also just
- 17:39self-care makes you just feel better
- 17:41that's why I like to get my nails done
- 17:43every couple of weeks is it just makes
- 17:44me feel more put together it makes me
- 17:47feel like I've got my life together even
- 17:48if I maybe don't so yeah just do the
- 17:51little things that help you feel like
- 17:53you're taking care of yourself and see
- 17:55how big of a difference that that could
- 17:56make life lesson number 23
- 17:58this one is maybe one of my favorite
- 18:00ones on this list which is to laugh I
- 18:03feel like laughter is the Cure All when
- 18:06I'm in a bad mood Chris makes me laugh
- 18:08and it really does help turn my mood
- 18:10around surr yourself with people that
- 18:12make you laugh that are funny that make
- 18:14you have fun you know all of those
- 18:15things are so important and I think
- 18:18laughter literally is the best remedy so
- 18:21find ways to make yourself laugh whether
- 18:22that be through shows books friends
- 18:25whatever but just remember how important
- 18:27it is to laugh life lesson number 24 is
- 18:30to set achievable goals for yourself I
- 18:33feel like this is something that I kind
- 18:34of have started doing with the creation
- 18:36of my YouTube channel because I started
- 18:38doing these like monthly reset videos
- 18:40where I'm setting monthly goals for
- 18:42myself and I'm actually like writing
- 18:44them down and thinking about them every
- 18:46single week and month by setting these
- 18:48little goals for myself then when I
- 18:50achieve them I'm like wow I actually
- 18:51like achieved something that I wanted to
- 18:54achieve this month whether it be reading
- 18:56a certain amount of books or getting to
- 18:58the gym gym a certain amount of times or
- 18:59whatever I'm setting achievable goals
- 19:01for myself and then I do achieve them it
- 19:03creates this positive feedback loop that
- 19:05is like almost like self- validating of
- 19:07I can accomplish these things that I set
- 19:09my mind to I am good at X Y and Z I can
- 19:12be productive I am effective with my
- 19:14time and It ultimately just like creates
- 19:16this like cycle of self-esteem boosting
- 19:19if that makes sense I set these goals
- 19:20for myself every single month that I
- 19:22pretty much know I'm going to achieve
- 19:23like I pretty much always think I can
- 19:26read a certain amount of books every
- 19:27month I pretty much know I'm going to go
- 19:28to the gym at least 3 days per week so I
- 19:30set those goals for myself and that way
- 19:33when I achieve them it's a little
- 19:34self-esteem boost life lesson number 25
- 19:37is to stop caring about what other
- 19:38people think this is a hard one and this
- 19:40is one that I'm still working on but the
- 19:41sooner you can let go and not give about
- 19:46what other people think the sooner
- 19:47you'll live a happier life whether that
- 19:49be how you do your hair how you do your
- 19:51makeup what car you drive whatever do I
- 19:53think people think I am crazy for having
- 19:55a YouTube channel yeah probably they're
- 19:57probably like that's not a real form of
- 19:59income but it doesn't matter it doesn't
- 20:01matter what other people think it
- 20:02matters what I think what makes me happy
- 20:04what I want to do and the sooner you can
- 20:06let go of what other people think and
- 20:08care about the sooner you will live a
- 20:10happier and more fulfilling life life
- 20:12lesson number 26 is to call your family
- 20:16or whatever people that you have deemed
- 20:17your family stay connected to those
- 20:19people at the end of the day at the end
- 20:21of your life your family is all you have
- 20:23really of course like like I said there
- 20:25are going to be friends in life that you
- 20:26consider like family and that's great
- 20:28and I'm talking about those people too
- 20:31but call them call your parents call
- 20:33your siblings call your nieces and
- 20:35nephews check in on them and make sure
- 20:37that you connect with those
- 20:39relationships because at the end of the
- 20:40day like those are the only people that
- 20:42truly matter life lesson number 27 is
- 20:45pets are the best especially dogs for me
- 20:48because I'm very much a dog person it is
- 20:50kind of crazy to me how much pets and
- 20:54again for me dogs specifically have
- 20:56impacted my life they are are just the
- 20:58best like if you don't have a pet you've
- 21:01never had a pet I can't recommend it
- 21:03enough but I will say as a caveat
- 21:05disclaimer before you get a pet make
- 21:06sure that you are physically you know
- 21:09capable of managing the responsibilities
- 21:11but having a dog has changed my life
- 21:13pets just teach you so many lessons in
- 21:15life like how to have unconditional love
- 21:17they give you a sense of companionship
- 21:19especially if you live alone they're
- 21:21just truly like the best thing ever I
- 21:22don't even know what to say I just I
- 21:24just love my dog so much she's the best
- 21:26she makes me happy having her wag her
- 21:29tail and jump on us when we get home
- 21:31from the gym or wherever like the level
- 21:33of excitement that she has just like if
- 21:36we're able to feed off of it and it
- 21:37makes us happier so they pets are just
- 21:40the best and you should get one life
- 21:42lesson number 28 is that you are on your
- 21:45own timeline in life I think it can be
- 21:48really easy to compare like where you're
- 21:51at in life to other people like feel
- 21:53like you're behind or something because
- 21:55other people are married other people
- 21:57have kids kids other people own a house
- 22:00other people have these crazy
- 22:02high-paying jobs and you're pretty much
- 22:03never on the same timeline as anyone
- 22:05else you're on your own timeline so just
- 22:08remember that you are on your correct
- 22:10path you're not behind you just haven't
- 22:12gotten to that point in your life yet
- 22:14life lesson number 29 this is especially
- 22:17true for marriage is that people cannot
- 22:20read your mind the sooner you can learn
- 22:24how to communicate your feelings what's
- 22:26stressing you out even if it's like I
- 22:28don't actually know why I'm stressed or
- 22:29I don't actually know why I'm upset or
- 22:32anxious right now I always do my best to
- 22:35tell Chris like I don't know why I'm in
- 22:36a bad mood but I am so just like maybe
- 22:38stay clear and on that note like also
- 22:41being able to communicate when things
- 22:43are frustrating you like especially in
- 22:45marriage and living with a partner
- 22:47communicating when like you really value
- 22:49things like them helping with the dishes
- 22:51or things like that people cannot read
- 22:53your mind people come from different
- 22:54backgrounds in life they were raised in
- 22:56different ways and and the only way that
- 22:59somebody will understand what's going on
- 23:00in your mind is if you tell them and my
- 23:03last life lesson for 30 things I've
- 23:05learned in my 30 years is to have fun
- 23:09don't take life too seriously I think
- 23:10this is one I personally again am still
- 23:12working on I think being married to a
- 23:14person who is so fun and likes to just
- 23:18like have fun all the time helps me to
- 23:20not take life too seriously and have fun
- 23:22so do your best to surround yourself
- 23:23with people that do that if this one
- 23:26doesn't come naturally to you ultimately
- 23:28like at the end of the day I want to
- 23:29look back on my life and say like yeah I
- 23:31had a good time not wow I was like
- 23:33really stressed the whole time don't
- 23:34take life too seriously and we're just
- 23:37we're just going to have a good time
