3. 0:04this video I'm gonna show you guys on
4. 0:05how to learn programming for absolutely
5. 0:08free now before we start this video
6. 0:11there are some things you guys should
7. 0:13know about this first and foremost you
8. 0:16don't need any experience or knowledge
9. 0:18to learn programming whatsoever so you
10. 0:20can be a complete novice and not know
11. 0:22any sort of code or anything about
12. 0:24computers that doesn't matter in this
13. 0:26case you guys can learn for free and
14. 0:28easily the second thing is you don't
15. 0:30need to pay a single cent for this and
16. 0:33it will always be free there are those
17. 0:36services where you sit down on the
18. 0:37computer and you're learning something
19. 0:39and then you notice like a week later
20. 0:40the trial ended and then you have to pay
21. 0:44that's not gonna happen again this is
22. 0:46completely free so you don't have to
23. 0:48worry about that so with that being said
24. 0:50why should you learn to code or to
25. 0:52program it's simple when you guys are
26. 0:55not programming you can become a web
27. 0:57developer and later on a full-stack
28. 0:59developer so you could be sitting at
29. 1:01home on a computer drinking your coffee
30. 1:02learning the code and then a couple
31. 1:04months later you go on the online web
32. 1:07and you go to freelancing sites and like
33. 1:09up were calm and then you start making
34. 1:11money and you help people out and you
35. 1:13get paid for working at home I know
36. 1:15countless of people my age and younger
37. 1:18than weed are sixteen making hundreds
38. 1:20and even thousands of dollars a month so
39. 1:22it's all worth it how do you get started
40. 1:24I'm gonna show you guys that right now
41. 1:26it's a free website that you guys can
42. 1:28see down in the description link below
43. 1:30called free code camp org now I'm gonna
44. 1:33go ahead and show you guys this but real
45. 1:35quick just so you guys know as a
46. 1:36disclaimer I do not own the site and I
47. 1:40am not affiliated with the site I
48. 1:41personally use this website to learn
49. 1:43code myself which is why I'm spreading
50. 1:46the word and spreading the launch to you
51. 1:47guys so with that being said let's begin
52. 1:50okay so we're here at free code camp org
53. 1:53now to start it's simple all you guys
54. 1:55got to do is click the orange start
55. 1:57coding button right here and from there
56. 1:59you guys can go ahead and continue the
57. 2:01Google or with Facebook or with email
58. 2:03doesn't matter I'm gonna go ahead and
59. 2:05just for this example put in the temp
60. 2:07email just to show you guys you can do
61. 2:08the same thing put in an email address
62. 2:10email and then put the code in that you
63. 2:13from the email and then click submit'
64. 2:15code and continue to free code camp and
65. 2:17from there all you guys are going to do
66. 2:19is click on you go to coding curriculum
67. 2:21once you guys are on a coding curriculum
68. 2:23you're gonna get three sections of the
69. 2:25screen the guide section the editor
70. 2:28section on the center and the live
71. 2:30production section on the right side of
72. 2:32the screen so following the left side of
73. 2:34the screen you guys gonna get a tutorial
74. 2:35and then you're gonna get a little
75. 2:37challenge you guys are gonna have to
76. 2:39pass the challenge so in this case I'm
77. 2:41gonna go ahead and have to do an h1
78. 2:43element and type in hello world that's
79. 2:45what it's asking you to do run the test
80. 2:47you can see we did it and then we go to
81. 2:49the next challenge the next challenge
82. 2:51again you just got to follow the
83. 2:53instructions this time we have to do an
84. 2:56h2 element and do a cat photo app text
85. 3:00so do that and you guys get the idea
86. 3:02basically what you guys want to do is
87. 3:04make sure you follow the instructions
88. 3:06carefully I highly recommend you guys
89. 3:08get a notebook and take notes along the
90. 3:10way it does get very easy it is very
91. 3:13easy to start with but it will get more
92. 3:15and more challenging and if you guys are
93. 3:18getting stuck while doing this you don't
94. 3:19have to worry you can click on get a
95. 3:21hint and it'll give you guys a hint on
96. 3:23what to do or if you're absolutely stuck
97. 3:25and you want to see how you can do it
98. 3:27how you can pass it then you can watch a
99. 3:29video and it will tell you exactly what
100. 3:31you did wrong and show you the right way
101. 3:33and that's pretty much it so in
102. 3:35conclusion we learned that there's a
103. 3:37program you guys can use and it does
104. 3:39look simple at first but it progresses
105. 3:41and gets more difficult so you guys are
106. 3:43responsible for sitting through the
107. 3:44lessons and trying to check off each of
108. 3:46the lessons you guys learned beginning
109. 3:48with HTML and then CSS visual design and
110. 3:51eventually JavaScript there's hundreds
111. 3:53and hundreds of countless of hours of
112. 3:55free learning you guys can get with this
113. 3:57you're gonna be sitting there and
114. 3:59thinking about the challenge you're
115. 4:00gonna be like wow this is very difficult
116. 4:02how do I move on to the next challenge
117. 4:04so you really have to test yourself and
118. 4:06take notes as I mentioned I will really
119. 4:08help you out but at the end of the day
120. 4:10it was all worth it thank you guys so
