  2. 0:11here's another quick and clear tutorial
  3. 0:12this time I will show you how to install
  4. 0:14or WI a thumb throttle with key ignition
  5. 0:16switch and voltage display as you can
  6. 0:18see it has five wires the black green
  7. 0:20red are the throttle wires the blue and
  8. 0:23the yellow wires are the key ignition
  9. 0:24switch wires and of course I will be
  10. 0:27using a 48 volt 500 W controller for
  11. 0:29this
  12. 0:30[Music]
  13. 0:43the motor face wires and the whole
  14. 0:44sensor wires are finally connected this
  15. 0:47two wirs is for the battery to Supply
  16. 0:49Power into the controller the red wi is
  17. 0:50the positive line and the black wi is
  18. 0:52the negative Line This thin one is the
  19. 0:54lock wire also called as switch wire
  20. 0:57this is an extension wire I will be
  21. 0:59extending the output Port of my 48 volt
  22. 1:01scooter all the way out to have better
  23. 1:03access while doing this tutorial let's
  24. 1:05start connect together the controller
  25. 1:07positive line terminal and the battery
  26. 1:09positive terminal and do the same with
  27. 1:11the controller negative line and the
  28. 1:13battery negative
  29. 1:14terminals at this moment I haven't
  30. 1:16connected yet the extension wire to the
  31. 1:18battery I'm trying to be more cautious
  32. 1:20just to avoid any unwanted matters
  33. 1:22remember that leum batteries are prone
  34. 1:23of Catching Fires once all the wires are
  35. 1:25set then that's the time I will connect
  36. 1:27or plug the extension wire to the
  37. 1:28battery output Port always be cautious
  38. 1:30when working with the batteries because
  39. 1:31it's too dangerous while connecting and
  40. 1:33installing all the terminals make sure
  41. 1:35all nuts are tight enough the battery
  42. 1:37extension wire is now connected to the
  43. 1:39controller now it's time to connect the
  44. 1:41thumb throttle with key ignition switch
  45. 1:42to the controller for those who are
  46. 1:44looking for this type of throttle I put
  47. 1:45the link in the description I actually
  48. 1:47got this from Amazon you can also check
  49. 1:49the other links in the
  50. 1:51description these are the wi of the
  51. 1:52throttle with key ignition switch the
  52. 1:54red green and black are the throttle
  53. 1:56wires that will be connected to the
  54. 1:57controller throttle wires red is
  55. 1:59positive 5 volts black is the ground and
  56. 2:01the green wire is the signal while these
  57. 2:03two wires yellow and blue are the key
  58. 2:05ignition switch
  59. 2:06wires these are the throttle wires of
  60. 2:08the controller usually these are color
  61. 2:10black green and red I also made
  62. 2:13extension wires with connector that
  63. 2:15stick out and expose the throttle wires
  64. 2:17so that I could easily connect the
  65. 2:18throttle kit during this tutorial red to
  66. 2:21Red Green to green black to Black time
  67. 2:24to link the wires remember that these
  68. 2:26three wires are the throttle line wires
  69. 2:27all you have to do is to match the color
  70. 2:29black to black red to red and green to
  71. 2:32[Music]
  72. 2:47[Music]
  73. 2:58Green
  74. 3:01take note when it comes to throttle
  75. 3:03wires the black is always for the black
  76. 3:05wire and the red wire is always for the
  77. 3:06red wire because some of the throttle
  78. 3:08kit has different color of signal wire
  79. 3:10like this one in the photo as you can
  80. 3:12see it has color white signal
  81. 3:13wire ke ignition wires are next the yoir
  82. 3:16is for the battery positive line
  83. 3:18connected to the controller positive
  84. 3:23terminal and the blue wire is for the
  85. 3:25switch wire or lock wire of the
  86. 3:28controller
  87. 3:32[Music]
  88. 3:38[Music]
  89. 3:48now that all wires are set it's time to
  90. 3:49connect the extension wire to the
  91. 3:51battery output Port of my 48 volts
  92. 3:53electric
  93. 3:58scooter
  94. 4:00as you can see the voltage of the
  95. 4:02battery is being displayed and the
  96. 4:03throtle is working properly the key
  97. 4:05ignition switch activates and
  98. 4:06deactivates the
  99. 4:08[Music]
  100. 4:12controller if in case you have any
