How to Fix Your Credit Using ChatGPT (The Exact Prompts) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Artificial intelligence is beating the
- 0:01credit bureaus and everyday people are
- 0:03using things like ChatGPT, Claude to
- 0:05clean their credit profiles, but only if
- 0:08you use the right prompts. In this
- 0:10video, I'm going to show you the exact
- 0:11prompts that we're using to clean up
- 0:13credit profiles and how you can
- 0:15implement this implement this for your
- 0:17credit so that you can ultimately boost
- 0:19your credit score and get it cleaned up
- 0:21and get those items removed. Now,
- 0:23there's two things that you're going to
- 0:25need. The first is the prompts which
- 0:27I'll be giving you in this video as
- 0:29we're going through it and then I've
- 0:30gone ahead and leaked the Google Doc
- 0:32down in the description so you can
- 0:34download it as well completely free. And
- 0:36the second thing that you're going to
- 0:37need is the freshest or newest copy of
- 0:40your credit report in order for any of
- 0:42this to work. It doesn't matter how
- 0:43strong a prompt is because this is all
- 0:45about inputs and outputs, you need to
- 0:47have accurate data. I've also gone ahead
- 0:50and leaked the exact company that I
- 0:52typically recommend, the tool that I
- 0:53typically use with my clients to make
- 0:56sure that we're getting fresh data and
- 0:58so that we're seeing the items get
- 1:00removed in real time. You can also get
- 1:02that tool that's linked down in the
- 1:04description. So, now that we have those
- 1:06items, you can follow along. Again, you
- 1:08can download this and you can follow
- 1:10along on your own time.
- 1:11But, the first thing that we're going to
- 1:13want to do is the first prompt and
- 1:15that's going to be mapping everything
- 1:17out. So, once I have a new copy, again,
- 1:21I can't emphasize this enough, a new
- 1:22copy of my credit report. That's going
- 1:24to be Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
- 1:26Now, if you know that you only have
- 1:28negative items reporting on one of the
- 1:30bureaus, then you can go ahead and use
- 1:32that, but I typically recommend let's
- 1:34make sure that we have at least all of
- 1:36our credit bureaus pulled so that we can
- 1:38see what items are reporting on one
- 1:41bureau versus the other cuz sometimes
- 1:43you'll see a late payment reporting on
- 1:44one bureau and then on the other two
- 1:46bureaus, it's not there. So, we can also
- 1:48use that as leverage. Now, a big caveat
- 1:51on this cuz this is a concern for a lot
- 1:52of people and rightfully so is
- 1:54is my information
- 1:56uh going to be essentially at risk. Now,
- 1:59what I typically recommend is if you're
- 2:01concerned about your information, uh,
- 2:04you know, like a data breach or putting
- 2:05your information on an open source, what
- 2:07you can do is redact sensitive
- 2:09information like your social or you can
- 2:11redact sensitive information maybe like
- 2:13your primary residence. You can redact
- 2:16sensitive information like your phone
- 2:17number. Now, what ends up happening
- 2:19though is like a trade-off, right? Is if
- 2:22your goal is to clean your credit
- 2:24profile, sometimes you're going to want
- 2:26to make sure that all of your addresses
- 2:28are listed the same. This is one of the
- 2:29first steps that you'll typically do
- 2:31when you're cleaning up a credit profile
- 2:32is lining up and making sure that you
- 2:34only have one address, one phone number,
- 2:36one employer listed on your credit
- 2:38report. And so, if the prompt that
- 2:41you're giving, which in this case we're
- 2:42mapping out every negative item, can't
- 2:45identify and cross-reference those data
- 2:47points, you could be losing some potency
- 2:50from these prompts. So, just a heads-up
- 2:52if you do decide to do that. Same thing
- 2:54with the social. But again, that's at
- 2:56your discretion on how much data you
- 2:59want to give access to this, uh, to, you
- 3:01know, chat or Claude, whatever you're
- 3:03using. And so, the first prompt that
- 3:04we're going to use is what you see on
- 3:05your screen. I'm not going to read
- 3:06through all of them just because again,
- 3:08you can download it.
- 3:09Um, and then you can copy and paste this
- 3:11inside of your, uh, essentially your,
- 3:13uh, chat or your Claude. But the first
- 3:15thing that we want to do is we want to
- 3:15map out what's exactly on my credit
- 3:17report. Sometimes, uh, these reports are
- 3:1960, 70, 80, 90 pages long. And so,
- 3:22unless you've actually been studying and
- 3:24paying attention and looking at and
- 3:26monitoring how that how exactly does a
- 3:29credit report work and what exactly do I
- 3:31need to look at? With this prompt right
- 3:33here, it already trains your AI to allow
- 3:36it to get right to the source on mapping
- 3:38out those negative items. This is go
- 3:41this is essentially going to, uh, to
- 3:42scan through all of the items that are
- 3:45either erroneous, shouldn't be on there,
- 3:47or things that are red flags that we
- 3:48need to pay attention to that we can
- 3:49attack with the other prompts that we're
- 3:51going to be going through. The second
- 3:53prompt is going to be find out what's
- 3:55actually wrong. What does this do?
- 3:57This is going to perform what's called a
- 3:59true accuracy review on the credit
- 4:02report. The reason why we use the
- 4:03language a true accuracy review is
- 4:05because we don't just want it to say,
- 4:07"Okay, a hard inquiry or a soft inquiry
- 4:10are weighed the same and so a soft
- 4:12inquiry also needs to be removed."
- 4:13Sometimes it gets a little wonky if you
- 4:16don't actually give it direction, which
- 4:18is why a lot of people say, "I tried
- 4:19using AI to clean my credit but it
- 4:21didn't actually work for me." It's
- 4:22because they don't actually use the
- 4:24technology the way that it's supposed to
- 4:26be used. This is about training a
- 4:28machine and using these prompts is going
- 4:31to get you a far faster acceleration on
- 4:34the results that you're ultimately
- 4:35looking to get. And so examine each
- 4:37negative account, I'm reading the
- 4:38prompt, examine each negative account
- 4:41field by field, including balances, past
- 4:44due amounts, payment history, account
- 4:46status,
- 4:47uh dates, ownership, and remarks.
- 4:49Compare the information across all
- 4:51three. Notice we're we're using that
- 4:53language again there. Across all three.
- 4:55Here's why because uh according to FCRA,
- 4:58which is the Fair Credit Reporting Act,
- 4:59which protects you and I as the
- 5:01consumer,
- 5:02if there is something that's erroneous
- 5:04or inaccurate on one report, we can use
- 5:06that as leverage against the other
- 5:08bureau. So if something's off on
- 5:10TransUnion, we can use that as leverage
- 5:12with Experian or Equifax or vice versa.
- 5:14Tell me exactly what appears
- 5:16inconsistent and what documents I should
- 5:17review to determine this and accuracy or
- 5:20what's actually inaccurate. So again,
- 5:22here's what this does. This is going to
- 5:24catch discrepancies across Equifax,
- 5:27Experian, TransUnion field by field and
- 5:29then it tells you exactly what needs to
- 5:31be verified line by line. This is how we
- 5:36strategically structure a credit a
- 5:38credit cleaning process using artificial
- 5:41intelligence. Not just prompts like
- 5:43clean my credit. Not just, "Hey, remove
- 5:45this late payment." We want to be
- 5:47skillful about this, which is what
- 5:49you're getting in these prompts. Uh
- 5:51prompt number three
- 5:53is turn the maybes into provable facts.
- 5:56So, this is where that disputing starts
- 5:58to come into play. For each potential
- 6:00error uh that you identified, create ev-
- 6:03create an evidence checklist.
- 6:05Tell me exactly what documents could
- 6:07support or disprove the reported
- 6:10information such as statements, payment
- 6:12confirmations, bank records, settlement
- 6:14letters, correspondence, um or account
- 6:17records. Separate uh separate issues
- 6:19supported by evidence from issues that
- 6:22still need verification. So, here's what
- 6:24this does. This turns your list of
- 6:26potential errors into essentially two
- 6:29clear paths or two clear piles. Uh what
- 6:31you can already prove and what will need
- 6:34documentation before you dispute it. And
- 6:36so, one other thing that I like to do is
- 6:37I like to customize the bracket. So, um
- 6:39you can do this r- right after you run
- 6:42prompt number two, which is what we just
- 6:43did. And again, you can use this with
- 6:45Claude or ChatGPT, depending on which
- 6:47one you're most comfortable with. So,
- 6:49this way it's flagging the accurate
- 6:51data.
- 6:52Number four, prompt number four
- 6:54is going to be building your legal
- 6:56strategy. Now, this isn't by any means
- 6:58any type of legal advice or anything
- 7:00like that. Here's what this means. We're
- 7:02going to use uh the FCRA, which is the
- 7:06Fair Credit Reporting Act. Now, there's
- 7:08a couple of different laws you can
- 7:09typically use to remove late payments,
- 7:11but or in this case collections or
- 7:13charge-offs or negative items, but
- 7:15something that I've observed is what I
- 7:18have here in this specific prompt, which
- 7:20is you uh 15 USC 1681
- 7:24typically does really well, especially
- 7:26for that initial b- uh for that initial
- 7:29burst of disputes, because it puts the
- 7:32credit bureaus in a position to have to
- 7:34give you real validation. Not just "Hey,
- 7:39we sent you a letter. Yes, we verified
- 7:41it." No, no, no, no, no. That is not
- 7:43what we want. We want you to actually
- 7:45verify and send me documentation
- 7:49based on what you actually see that's
- 7:51reporting and why this is actually on my
- 7:54report, especially when it's errors or
- 7:56negative items, kind of like what we're
- 7:57seeing with the bureaus right now. A lot
- 7:58of them are in hot water
- 8:00because they're reporting items on our
- 8:03credit reports that should not be on
- 8:04there. And so, I want to make sure that
- 8:06if this item is on there, I need it to
- 8:08verify for me, not just like a generic
- 8:11template or like a generic response.
- 8:14Tell me exactly what's on there and then
- 8:15send me the evidence of why this is on
- 8:18there. And then from there, we can move
- 8:21into disputing back. Now, this right
- 8:24here, these last two are going to be a
- 8:25little bit more on the bonus side
- 8:26because depending on what you have on
- 8:28your profile, you may or may not have a
- 8:30late payment. So, if you have a late
- 8:31payment,
- 8:33this is typically the prompt that I like
- 8:34to use right here. Now, there's a couple
- 8:36ways that I typically like to navigate
- 8:37around late payments. When it comes to
- 8:39late payments, if you have a
- 8:41relationship with that financial
- 8:43institution, sometimes you can do what's
- 8:45called a late payment goodwill letter
- 8:47and then send it over to them. Sometimes
- 8:48you can do it as simple as as a phone
- 8:50call. I've done this before. I've talked
- 8:51about it on the channel where I've had
- 8:53late payments before uh simply from just
- 8:55I I didn't know that I had like a
- 8:57recurring bill and sometimes I say,
- 8:59"Hey, man, I just forgot. I forgot to
- 9:00pay it." And so, I'll just call them up
- 9:01and I say, "Hey, I forgot to pay it, but
- 9:02if you look at my history with you guys,
- 9:04I've pretty much been 100% accurate."
- 9:06And usually when you're just nonchalant
- 9:08about that, it's very direct, they just
- 9:10wipe it off. Now, there are some
- 9:11instances where the late payments, it's
- 9:14either uh what we call a multiple
- 9:16offenses or it's a late payment that
- 9:19maybe you just can't get past good
- 9:21graces, right? So, usually this type of
- 9:24prompt is the angle that we would take,
- 9:26which is write a credit dispute letter
- 9:29for the late payment. And then this is
- 9:30where we take the again, this is why you
- 9:32use the first two prompts. You take the
- 9:34accounts that were posted as late and
- 9:36the evidence, and then you identify the
- 9:38exact late payment notation that I
- 9:41believe is inaccurate. So, again, if
- 9:44they reported that you were late, but
- 9:45you maybe were a little bit past the
- 9:47state the statement cycle, then you were
- 9:49still within that window, you can
- 9:50dispute that. If the amount that they
- 9:53reported on there, so hey, you were it
- 9:56was a $200 bill, and you only paid us
- 9:59250 you know, let's actually let's play
- 10:02around with this number, 195 bucks, then
- 10:05that actually means that there's an
- 10:06inaccuracy there. No, I actually sent
- 10:08you guys the full amount. You guys just
- 10:10collected it a little bit past the
- 10:11statement, or you guys didn't draft the
- 10:13full amount when I told you to draft it
- 10:14from my account. That's different ways
- 10:16you can get creative when you are
- 10:18disputing a late payment. The whole
- 10:20purpose of this
- 10:21specific prompt is it's going to
- 10:23generate an FCRA compliant dispute
- 10:26letter. Again, for that late payment
- 10:29specific to your account. Now, one
- 10:31recommendation that I do have in
- 10:32addition to this is that when we're
- 10:33using and you're getting these letters
- 10:35and you're sending it out, you always
- 10:38want to send it out to the bureau that
- 10:40has the late payment. And then number
- 10:42two is you only want to use this for the
- 10:46accounts that you still have
- 10:47relationships with.
- 10:49If it's one of those where it's a
- 10:50collection or a charge-off, you may want
- 10:53to take a different angle, kind of like
- 10:54the previous two prompts that we did.
- 10:57Number six
- 10:58is going to be the collection account.
- 11:01Now, there's a difference between a
- 11:03collection account and a charge-off
- 11:05account. Typically, if something is in
- 11:07collections, then that means that a
- 11:10third-party company purchased it. And
- 11:13so, they are trying to collect on that
- 11:15debt. So, this type of dispute right
- 11:17here goes again to the credit bureaus,
- 11:20and you can also do like a two-prong
- 11:22approach where you can use this and send
- 11:25it out to the original creditor, as
- 11:29well. Again, it's going to be case by
- 11:30case,
- 11:31but that's usually how we like to see it
- 11:33done. And so this is going to be the
- 11:34prompt that we'll use.
- 11:36Write a credit Write a credit bureau
- 11:38dispute letter
- 11:40regarding the collection account. And
- 11:41again, we're going to paste that
- 11:42evidence. Again, stacking on the first
- 11:44two prompts that we just did. Identify
- 11:46the specific information
- 11:48that is inaccurate or incomplete, such
- 11:50as a balance, ownership, account status,
- 11:52dates, duplicate reporting. Explain the
- 11:55evidence supporting my dispute and
- 11:57request a reasonable reinvestigation
- 11:59under 15 U.S.C. There's that prompt
- 12:02again, 1681, and correct or delete where
- 12:06required through the investigation. Do
- 12:09not make a claim on the evidence that
- 12:11does not support. Again, we're taking
- 12:13this letter or we're taking this prompt
- 12:15and we're plugging it in based on some
- 12:17of the evidence that we get from either
- 12:20a previous dispute that we did that
- 12:22maybe didn't go so well, or we saw some
- 12:25items that got removed, but maybe there
- 12:26was just some lingering items. So what
- 12:28do I do?
- 12:29You can do
- 12:30You can take the report
- 12:32that you have, so your credit report,
- 12:33this hence again that's linked down in
- 12:35the description. You can grab a copy of
- 12:37that. You can sign up, get access to
- 12:39that tool so you're using accurate data
- 12:41for this to actually work.
- 12:43Two things. You use that report, and
- 12:45then you plug it in to your AI software.
- 12:48Or or and and or you also use responses
- 12:53that you get from the credit bureaus
- 12:56that are {quote} {unquote} validating
- 12:58the collection or validating the debt.
- 13:02Number seven,
- 13:03disputing a charge-off.
- 13:05Now the difference here with the
- 13:06charge-off is that the company has
- 13:08essentially the original creditor has
- 13:11written it off as a loss. So at that
- 13:13point, there isn't much communication
- 13:15that happens with that third party or
- 13:17with that original creditor. So if it
- 13:19was a bank, if it was a store, if it was
- 13:22a vendor,
- 13:23they've already sold that debt off to a
- 13:26third-party company.
- 13:28And so, they've already charged it off
- 13:29as debt on their balance sheets. And so,
- 13:32at this point, that the third-party
- 13:34company that bought your debt for
- 13:35pennies on the dollar essentially is
- 13:36trying to collect whatever they can.
- 13:38So, what we would do in this situation
- 13:41is very similar to what we would do on a
- 13:43collection account, which is we can use,
- 13:45if you're sending off your first round
- 13:47of disputes, you would use your credit
- 13:49report, and you would plug in this
- 13:50prompt right here, write a credit
- 13:52dispute letter regarding this charge
- 13:53off. Same flow, paste the account
- 13:56evidence, identify each specific field.
- 13:57Again, it has the same flow, and then
- 13:59we're using the same investigation under
- 14:0115 U.S.C. 1681.
- 14:04Again, we want to have the appropriate
- 14:05correction
- 14:07um of the information
- 14:09found uh that's inaccurate,
- 14:11uh incomplete, or unverifiable. So,
- 14:14depending on where you're at in your
- 14:15credit cleaning journey, this could be
- 14:17your first set of letters that are going
- 14:18out. If that is, then you're going to
- 14:20use your credit report. Again, use an
- 14:23updated one. Don't use one that's like 6
- 14:25years old. Don't use one that's even 50
- 14:27days old. Use one that's reporting as of
- 14:29the date that you're looking to dispute
- 14:31in this cycle.
- 14:32Um if you are already in what we call
- 14:35rotation or in sequence, and you're
- 14:36accurately or actively disputing the
- 14:39accounts, then you're going to want to
- 14:41see what type of responses you're
- 14:42getting. You can plug that that into
- 14:46your chat, into your cloud, and then you
- 14:48can use this language again or a
- 14:50variation of this prompt to help you
- 14:53structure out the again the disputes
- 14:55that go out. Now, one last thing that I
- 14:57will say is this.
- 14:59When it comes to disputing credit, and
- 15:01when it comes to cleaning your credit,
- 15:03it's extremely tedious.
- 15:04And usually, if you have one item that
- 15:07comes off in that round, fantastic, but
- 15:10it is a continual process, and you have
- 15:13to watch your credit profile like a hawk
- 15:15in order to see the type of what we call
- 15:18success that you want to see
- 15:20on your credit being cleaned.
- 15:22And so, the last thing that I'll leave
- 15:23you with, and again, you have the prompt
- 15:25down in the description, is the
- 15:27following.
- 15:28Use these responsibly.
- 15:31And second, only use them in the
- 15:33accounts that are attached to your
- 15:36credit profile.
- 15:38If accounts have been removed,
- 15:41keep it moving. You don't have to use it
- 15:42because it's already been cleaned off.
- 15:44If you found value in this video, then
- 15:46you'll enjoy this one right here where I
- 15:48go a little bit further into how to use
- 15:50things like AI to get access to business
- 15:53funding. See you in the next one.
