0:02trying to patch up an old nature that
0:04God has already executed. They strive to
0:08mend their habits and purify their
0:10thoughts through human effort. Yet the
0:12scripture points us away from
0:14self-improvement and directs us toward a
0:16finished work of absolute substitution.
0:20To understand your true position in the
0:22spirit, you must look at the cross as a
0:24place of final execution.
0:27It was not merely a tragic event where a
0:29good man suffered for a cause. It was
0:32the high court of the universe enacting
0:34a permanent identity swap for all
0:37mankind.
0:38The foundational blueprint of this
0:40reality is found in the timeless words
0:42of Romans chapter 6 verse 6.
0:45The word declares with absolute judicial
0:48certainty that our old man was crucified
0:51with him.
0:52This statement is written in the past
0:54tense because it is an accomplished
0:56historical fact.
0:58When Jesus was nailed to that rugged
1:00tree, your old self was bound to him by
1:03the law of identification.
1:05In the eyes of eternal justice, you were
1:08hanging there on that cross.
1:10Every strike of the hammer against his
1:12flesh was legally striking against your
1:15old fallen nature.
1:17When the dark clouds gathered and the
1:19earth shook, your old history came to a
1:22complete end.
1:24You must see that the person you used to
1:27be is no longer recognized by the
1:29Father.
1:30That old nature, which was joined to the
1:32failure of the first Adam, has been
1:34legally terminated.
1:37A legal termination means there is no
1:39remaining claim against your past life.
1:42The law cannot demand payment from a
1:44person who has already died.
1:46Therefore, the death certificate of your
1:49old self was signed in the blood of the
1:51spotless lamb.
1:53You are not a sinner trying to get clean
1:55through religious ceremonies. You are a
1:57completely new species that has been
2:00brought into existence by the
2:02resurrection.
2:03To live with a constant consciousness of
2:06your past failures is to deny the legal
2:08reality of the cross. The cross was the
2:11divine method of clearing the ledger of
2:13human rebellion.
2:15God did not look at your broken life and
2:17decide to perform a minor repair job. He
2:21knew that the nature of spiritual death
2:23could never be educated into
2:25righteousness.
2:26The only solution was a radical and
2:29total replacement of the human spirit.
2:32When Christ took your place, he did not
2:34just carry your sins like an external
2:36burden. He fully identified with your
2:39condition of spiritual alienation so
2:42that you could identify with his
2:44standing of absolute favor.
2:47This is the magnificent exchange that
2:49forms the core of the entire redemptive
2:52plan.
2:53He took upon himself your sin nature so
2:56that you could receive his son nature.
2:59When you gaze into the mirror of the
3:01Holy Scriptures, you must see Christ as
3:04your very self.
3:05You must refuse to view yourself through
3:08the limited perspective of your human
3:10senses.
3:11Your senses will tell you that you are
3:13weak and prone to failure. Your physical
3:15feelings will try to convince you that
3:17the old man is still alive and dominant.
3:20But the legal verdict of the Supreme
3:22Court of Heaven carries infinitely more
3:25weight than human feelings.
3:27If the word of God declares that your
3:29old man is dead, you must accept that
3:32bookkeeping as absolute truth.
3:35To reckon yourself dead unto sin means
3:37to adjust your mental accounting to
3:39match the divine records.
3:41In the divine ledgers, your old account
3:44has been closed forever and a new
3:46account has been opened in glory.
3:49This is not a mental game or an exercise
3:51[clears throat] in positive
3:52visualization.
3:54It is the realization of a spiritual law
3:57that operates with absolute precision.
4:00When Jesus breathed his last breath and
4:02bowed his head, the old creation was
4:05judicially dissolved.
4:07The debt of high treason against the
4:09throne of God was fully satisfied by the
4:12substitute.
4:13You must let this truth settle deep into
4:16your recreated spirit until all sense of
4:19guilt vanishes.
4:21Condemnation cannot find a proper target
4:24when the old accused person has ceased
4:26to exist.
4:27The adversary will always try to bring
4:29up charges from a life that was buried
4:312,000 years ago,
4:33but you can look at every accusation and
4:36declare that the debtor is dead and the
4:38account is settled.
4:40You are no longer bound to the bloodline
4:42of human failure and generational
4:44curses.
4:46The cross did not just modify your
4:48behavior. It completely altered your
4:50spiritual genealogy.
4:53You have been legally removed from the
4:54family tree of the first Adam and placed
4:57into the family of the king.
5:00Every limitation that belonged to your
5:01natural birth was broken when you died
5:04with Christ.
5:05You must begin to think like a citizen
5:07of heaven who possesses a clean record
5:10and a royal heritage.
5:12The life you now possess is not a
5:14continuation of your natural existence
5:16with a few religious upgrades. It is a
5:19completely fresh stream of uncreated
5:21life flowing directly from the heart of
5:24the Father.
5:25This uncreated life is incapable of
5:27failure and cannot be conquered by
5:29circumstances.
5:31It is the very life that animated the
5:33master during his earthly ministry and
5:36it now resides within you.
5:39As you meditate on this truth, the
5:41struggle to be a good Christian will
5:43naturally give way to joyful rest.
5:46You will stop trying to reach a standard
5:48of holiness by your own strength.
5:51You will realize that the standard has
5:53already been met by the one who lives
5:55inside your spirit.
5:57The entire mystery of redemption is
5:59encapsulated in this oneness of spirit.
6:03You are not standing at a distance
6:05begging for crumbs from the table of
6:07mercy.
6:08You are a legal heir who has been
6:10brought into the inner circle of divine
6:12life.
6:14The legal side of redemption must become
6:16a personal reality in your daily
6:18thoughts.
6:19You must boldly confess what the word
6:21says about your new identity every
6:24single hour.
6:25When you say that your old man was
6:27crucified, you are enforcing the victory
6:30of the cross in your immediate
6:31environment.
6:33You are telling the world and the powers
6:35of darkness that you refuse to identify
6:38with the old creation.
6:40This bold confession establishes a wall
6:43of protection around your mind and
6:45heart.
6:46It keeps you from slipping back into the
6:48old patterns of fear and self-pity.
6:51You were created for dominion, and that
6:54dominion begins when you accept the
6:56death of your old self.
6:58Let the truth of Romans chapter 6 verse
7:016 become the anchor of your spiritual
7:03understanding.
7:05See yourself hanging on that cross in
7:07the person of your glorious substitute.
7:10See the old record of sins and failures
7:13blotted out completely by his precious
7:16blood,
7:17and prepare your heart to understand how
7:19this death led directly to a miraculous
7:22rebirth in the deep places of the earth.
7:26The work of our redemption did not
7:27conclude with the physical death of the
7:29substitute on the cross.
7:31To fully appreciate the scope of your
7:34new identity, you must look into the
7:36deep mystery of what happened after the
7:38physical breath left his body.
7:41A spiritual rebellion required a
7:43spiritual payment that went far beyond
7:46mere physical suffering.
7:48The substitute had to enter the dark
7:50realms of spiritual death to face the
7:53full consequences of human treason.

8:01chapter 5 verse 21.

8:41Heaven, you were present in that dark
8:44suffering. You were serving your
8:46sentence in the person of your
8:48substitute. Down in the deep, every
8:51demand of eternal justice was completely
8:53satisfied by the agony of the righteous
8:56one.
8:57Because the law was fully satisfied, it
8:59has absolutely nothing left to demand
9:02from your life today. You have already
9:05served your time and paid your debt
9:07through the sacrifice of your savior.
9:10But the dark scene changed dramatically
9:12when the full price was recorded as
9:14paid. The Father looked down into the
9:17depths of the grave and spoke words of
9:20absolute justification. He declared that
9:23the debt was cleared and commanded the
9:25gates of death to open wide. In that
9:28moment of supreme triumph, Jesus was
9:31born again in the tomb. He became the
9:34very first person in human history to be
9:37raised from spiritual death into eternal
9:40life.
9:41And because you were identified with him
9:43in his suffering, you were instantly
9:45identified with him in his rebirth.
9:48The scripture reveals that we were
9:50begotten again through the resurrection
9:52of Jesus Christ from the dead.
9:55You were not born again years later when
9:57you first wept at an altar of prayer.
10:00You were legally birthed out of that
10:02grave at the exact same moment the
10:04Master stepped into freedom.
10:07You are a direct reproduction of the
10:09resurrected Christ, possessing the same
10:12spiritual DNA.
10:14This is not a poetic metaphor designed
10:16to comfort your emotions on a difficult
10:18day.
10:19It is a biological and structural
10:22reality in the realm of the spirit.
10:24The word explicitly states that he that
10:27is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
10:31Your spirit was not merely washed or
10:33patched up when you accepted this
10:35beautiful truth.
10:36It was completely fused and integrated
10:39into the spirit of the living God.
10:42You have been grafted into the vine of
10:44eternal life, and the sap of heaven is
10:47now flowing through your veins.
10:49A branch does not struggle to produce
10:51fruit by its own human willpower.
10:54It simply rests in its union with the
10:56vine and allows the natural life force
10:59to manifest outward.
11:01In the exact same way, you do not have
11:04to struggle to produce righteousness or
11:06peace.
11:07You must simply rest in your absolute
11:09wholeness with the resurrected Lord and
11:12let his life flow.
11:14The greatest hindrance to this flowing
11:16life is a persistent self-consciousness.
11:20Many believers spend their days thinking
11:22about their own weakness and their own
11:24poverty.
11:25They continually use the language of the
11:27old creation by declaring how fragile
11:30they feel.
11:31But the law of identification demands
11:34that you develop a deep and permanent
11:36Christ consciousness.
11:38You must replace the word I with the
11:40glorious reality of his indwelling
11:43presence.
11:44This brings us to the second pillar of
11:46our scriptural understanding, found in
11:48Galatians chapter 2 verse 20. The
11:51apostle declares with absolute bold
11:53authority that I am crucified with
11:56Christ.
11:58He immediately follows this by saying,
12:00"Nevertheless, I live, yet not I, but
12:03Christ lives in me."
12:05Notice the four transformative words
12:08that can break every chain of limitation
12:10in your life.
12:11Those words are not I, but Christ.
12:15This confession must become the default
12:18setting of your mind.
12:19Whenever trouble arises, when sickness
12:22tries to attach itself to your physical
12:24body, you must declare, "Not I, but
12:27Christ."
12:28When fear whispers that you are going to
12:30fail in your endeavors, you must answer,
12:33"Not I, but Christ."
12:36This shifts the entire burden of
12:38existence from your limited human
12:40shoulders to his unlimited divine
12:43capacity.
12:44You are no longer living by your own
12:46natural strength or your own
12:48intellectual cleverness.
12:50You are living by the faith of the Son
12:52of God, who loved you and gave himself
12:55for you.
12:56The Father does not look at you as a
12:58separate struggling individual who
13:00occasionally does good deeds.
13:03He looks at you and sees his own beloved
13:05Son reflecting back through your spirit.
13:09When the enemy looks at you, he should
13:11not see a defenseless human being ripe
13:13for oppression.
13:15He should see the unmistakable image of
13:17the master walking the earth in your
13:20shoes.
13:21You must completely abandon the concept
13:23that you are a sinner saved by grace.
13:26A sinner is someone who is still
13:28identified with the fallen nature of the
13:30first Adam.
13:32A new creation is someone who is fully
13:34identified with the victorious nature of
13:37Christ.
13:38It is a spiritual impossibility to be
13:41both things at the exact same time.
13:44You have been completely translated out
13:46of the kingdom of darkness and into the
13:48kingdom of light. The old family
13:51lineage, with all its baggage and
13:53failure, has been legally erased from
13:56your life.
13:57You do not need to spend years trying to
13:59break old generational curses through
14:02intense tracking.
14:03The cross did not just break the curse.
14:06It killed the specific person who was
14:08under that curse.
14:10And since that old person is dead and
14:12buried in the tomb of Christ, the curse
14:15has no legal target remaining.
14:17You are standing on the solid ground of
14:20redemption, completely immune to the
14:22structural failures of the past.
14:25Begin to embrace this majestic status of
14:28righteousness that flows from your
14:29spiritual union.
14:31Righteousness is not a prize you earn
14:33after 40 years of perfect behavior.
14:36It is a present tense legal status that
14:39belongs to you because you are a member
14:42of his body.
14:43If the head of the body is perfectly
14:45righteous in heaven, then every single
14:48digit on that body is righteous, too.
14:51You can step boldly into the throne room
14:53of the universe without a single trace
14:55of guilt or inferiority.
14:58You can speak to the Father knowing that
15:00he hears your voice exactly as he hears
15:03the voice of his firstborn.
15:05Your prayers are no longer desperate
15:07pleas sent across millions of miles of
15:09empty space.
15:11They are the authoritative expressions
15:13of a union that is seated at the right
15:15hand of majesty.
15:17The realization of your complete
15:19identification with Christ must now move
15:21from understanding to absolute
15:23enforcement.
15:25An authority that is never spoken or
15:27applied remains completely useless in
15:30the practical affairs of this life.
15:32You are not called to live as a defeated
15:34survivor who is constantly begging for
15:37relief from the trials of the world. You
15:39are called to occupy a position of
15:41settled victory that was secured 2,000
15:44years ago.
15:46The scripture reveals that we have been
15:48raised up together and made to sit in
15:50heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
15:53This seating is the ultimate position of
15:55completed work and absolute spiritual
15:58rest.
16:00You are not fighting from a posture of
16:01defeat trying desperately to achieve a
16:04distant victory.
16:06You are fighting from a posture of total
16:08victory enforcing a verdict that has
16:10already been handed down.
16:13When you look at your problems from the
16:14perspective of the throne, they appear
16:17incredibly small and insignificant.
16:20Every mountain of opposition becomes
16:22nothing but dust when viewed from the
16:24height of your spiritual union.
16:27To effectively enforce this reality, you
16:29must practice the absolute substitution
16:32of the senses.
16:34The natural world will constantly
16:35bombard you with information that
16:37contradicts the word of God.
16:39Your physical senses will report pain
16:42and lack and emotional distress with
16:44loud urgency.
16:46But you must decide whether the report
16:48of your physical senses or the report of
16:51the word is the ultimate truth.
16:53Identification means that you give the
16:55word of God the final authority over
16:58your thoughts and your speech.
17:00If your feelings say you are sick, but
17:02the word says you are healed, you must
17:05side with the word.
17:07To confess sickness or failure is to
17:09create a major discrepancy in your
17:11spiritual alignment.
17:13Christ is not sick at the right hand of
17:15the Father, and you are completely one
17:18spirit with him.
17:20Therefore, sickness has no legal right
17:22to dwell in the physical body of a new
17:24creation.
17:26You must learn to look at disease as an
17:28illegal trespasser that is violating a
17:30blood bond contract.
17:32Instead of begging God to heal you, you
17:35must authoritatively command the symptom
17:37to leave your territory.
17:39You must speak with the absolute
17:41confidence of a person who knows their
17:43legal rights in the covenant.
17:45The language of the new creation does
17:47not include words of doubt or
17:49hesitation.
17:50When you speak the word of God from a
17:52consciousness of union, your words carry
17:55the weight of the throne.
17:57The angels of heaven are constantly
17:59listening for the voice of the word to
18:01manifest on the earth.
18:03When you align your mouth with the
18:05finished work of Christ, you give those
18:07heavenly messengers a legal assignment.
18:10Consider the deep reality of financial
18:13lack through the lens of this glorious
18:15substitution.
18:17The substitute was stripped of
18:18everything on that cross, becoming poor
18:21so that you might become rich.
18:24He carried the curse of poverty into the
18:26grave and left it there when he rose in
18:29absolute glory.
18:31The version of you that was bound to
18:33lack and insufficiency died 2,000 years
18:36ago.
18:37The version of you that lives today is a
18:39joint heir with the owner of the entire
18:42universe.
18:43You are not a poor person trying to
18:45persuade a distant God to send a
18:47financial blessing.
18:49You are a wealthy heir who is
18:51discovering how to manifest the
18:53resources of the kingdom. Stop
18:55identifying with the limitations of your
18:57natural background or the current
18:59economic climate.
19:01Begin to declare that your supply is
19:03linked directly to the inexhaustible
19:05riches of the glory.

19:10spirit of fear that attempts to paralyze
19:12your mind.
19:14The scripture declares that God has not
19:16given us a spirit of fear, but of power

19:22Fear is a foreign element that belongs

19:28Since that old nature has been
19:30completely executed, fear has no legal
19:33foundation in your spirit.
19:35You are identified with the lion of the
19:37tribe of Judah who has completely
19:40conquered every enemy.
19:42When anxiety tries to grip your heart,
19:44you must refuse to give it a voice in
19:46your home.
19:48You must stand firm and declare that you
19:50possess the perfect peace and sound mind
19:53of the master.
19:55Every morning when you open your eyes,
19:57you must consciously put on your new
19:59identity.
20:00Remind yourself before you encounter the
20:03world that you are a completely new
20:05species of being.
20:07Say to your own soul that you are not
20:10the failure or the victim that the world
20:12expects you to be.
20:14Confess with absolute certainty that the
20:17life of God is charging your physical
20:19body with strength.
20:21This consistent practice will completely
20:24eliminate the exhausting struggle of
20:26religious performance.
20:28You will find yourself walking in an
20:29effortless ease that puzzles the natural
20:32minds around you.
20:34You will produce the fruits of the
20:35Spirit as naturally as a healthy branch
20:38produces sweet grapes.
20:40The case regarding your righteousness
20:42and victory has been permanently closed
20:45by the highest authority.
20:47The adversary can bring new charges that
20:49can overturn the justification of the
20:51tomb.
20:52You are a master over the physical
20:54senses and a ruler over the darkness of
20:57this world. Let this majestic truth be
21:00absorbed into the very fiber of your
21:02inner being until it consumes every
21:05doubt.
21:06You are one with the King of kings and
21:09his triumph is your eternal inheritance.
21:13Walk out into the world with the posture
21:15of a ruler and the speech of a son.
21:18Keep your eyes fixed steadily on the
21:20mirror of the perfect law of liberty and
21:23let the uncreated life of God flow
21:26through you to change the atmosphere of
21:28the earth.
