How to Create a Clean Talking Head Video in Premiere Pro — Transcript

2. 0:01create a clean talking head video in
3. 0:04Premiere Pro. If this guide helps,

6. 0:10guys? My name is Kyle from Guide Voice.
7. 0:13First, you need to add your video into
8. 0:15your timeline by clicking on it and
9. 0:17dragging it down to your timeline. If
10. 0:19you zoom in on your timeline, you will
11. 0:22see your audio channel has waveforms. As
12. 0:25you can see, there are waveforms going
13. 0:27up, going down, and then the spaces in
14. 0:29between. So those spaces are where I am
15. 0:32not talking. What you want to do is cut
16. 0:35those away so you don't have gaps or
17. 0:38pauses in your video. You can either
18. 0:40scroll to the left and select the razor
19. 0:42tool or you can simply press C on your
20. 0:45keyboard and then you can go to those
21. 0:47gaps, click it to start cutting, and
22. 0:51then go to the end where you'd like to
23. 0:53cut and click that again. Then you can
24. 0:55press V to go back to your selector tool
25. 0:58or scroll to the left and click it. Now
26. 1:01I can click that part that I have just
27. 1:03cut and delete it. And now that pause or
28. 1:06that gap has been deleted. And then I
29. 1:09can click that empty space, delete to
30. 1:11bring my video together. If you would
31. 1:14like to make cuts quicker, you can click
32. 1:17anywhere you'd like to make a cut. Press
33. 1:19Q and it will cut to the left. Or you
34. 1:22can press W and it will cut everything
35. 1:24to the right. If you would like to make
36. 1:27color corrections to your video, go to
37. 1:29the effects panel in the top left.
38. 1:32Search for lummetry color. You will see
39. 1:35it under the folder color correction.
40. 1:38Drag it down onto your video. Select
41. 1:41your video. Go to the effects controls
42. 1:44in the top right corner. Scroll down
43. 1:47until you find lummetry color. Scroll
44. 1:50down to color wheels. And now you can
45. 1:53play around and get your desired color.
46. 1:57Whether you need to add more reds, more
47. 1:59greens, more blues. When you are happy
48. 2:02with your colors, you can make any other
49. 2:05changes that you need to make. And when
50. 2:06you are happy with that, you can
51. 2:08download your video. If this video
