3. 0:09For this video, I wanted to dissect the proper way to compliment a woman because the other
4. 0:13day, I was stopped on the street by a man, one that I’ve never met, and he just wanted
5. 0:17to tell me that I looked happy and to, “have a great day!”
6. 0:20Now, I’m someone who is always very apprehensive when I’m stopped on the street, but this
7. 0:25man actually made my day.
8. 0:27His entire approach was non-threatening and, quite frankly, inviting.
9. 0:31I felt like I could take him out for coffee and listen to him compliment me all day.
10. 0:34It was friendly, without any expectation attached to it.
11. 0:38This interaction added a little pep in my step.
12. 0:41And I thought that complimenting people is one of the easiest things to do to brighten
13. 0:44someone’s day and it makes you, the complementor, very likeable.
14. 0:48Which is why I thought that I would make a video on this.

23. 1:15They give you a confidence boost that someone has noticed something about you and has gone
24. 1:19so far as to tell you that they like it.
25. 1:22Knowing that you’re appealing to people, let alone the opposite sex, is a great feeling.
26. 1:27Genuine compliments are what we’re going for here.
27. 1:29The goal is to compliment a woman on something that is chosen or that she’s worked on and
28. 1:34not something that a girl is genetically predisposed to like height, eye color, etc.
29. 1:39The thing to understand about women is that they want to feel special, but they don’t
30. 1:43want to feel idolized.
31. 1:44The difference being that if you give a woman a bunch of ordinary compliments, like “you’re
32. 1:48so hot, pretty, have nice eyes, etc.”
33. 1:51She won’t feel special or unique.
34. 1:53These vague compliments can pretty much be used on anybody.
35. 1:57So there is no originality and the girl with whom you are complimenting won’t pay it
36. 2:01much mind.
37. 2:02However, if you are to pinpoint something that you particularly like about her that
38. 2:06she has worked on or chosen, then you stand a better chance of keeping a conversation
39. 2:11going and inviting some intrigue.
40. 2:15Here are what some specific compliments look like.
41. 2:17The Physical Compliment:

43. 2:20“Wow, you look like you’re in great shape.
44. 2:22What exercises do you do?”
45. 2:24This one is a compliment on her body but, unlike the overused you’re-so-hot-compliment,
46. 2:29this one is paying particular attention to the effort and hard work that she has put
47. 2:33in to maintain her physique.
48. 2:34The Style Compliment:

50. 2:36“I really like your style, it’s very unique.”
51. 2:39Again, here we have a compliment that is acknowledging the thought that this woman put into her outfit.
52. 2:44You’re not saying, “you wear those clothes really well.”
53. 2:47You’re recognizing that you like the way her mind works in putting her clothes together.
54. 2:52The Personality Compliment:

56. 2:54“You’re quite witty, aren’t you?”
57. 2:56Telling a woman that she is funny is a great compliment!
58. 2:59You’re telling her that you like her personality and it show that you like something about
59. 3:02her that is more than just her looks.
60. 3:04It’s a genuine compliment, and it can lead to trust.
61. 3:07When you share praise for a woman’s personality, she feels good about herself and, in turn,
62. 3:11will want to spend more time with you.
63. 3:13Because people love to be around those who make us feel special.

67. 3:21Complimenting a woman on her perspective is another way of telling her that you think
68. 3:25she’s intelligent.
69. 3:26And this is one of the best compliments to give someone.
70. 3:28Who doesn’t like hearing that you value their opinion and perspective on different
71. 3:31topics?
72. 3:32I know that that compliment would work on me.
73. 3:34Tailor the compliment to the girl.
74. 3:36Make it specific so that she feels special.
75. 3:39When you’re complimenting a woman, always do it with a smile, make sure it’s sincere
76. 3:44and that you actually believe it because the girl won’t buy it if it’s not genuine.
77. 3:49Genuine compliments can actually make you seem more trustworthy and not make a woman
78. 3:52want to shoo you away, which is ultimately what we want!
79. 3:55Trust is essential when you’re trying to connect with a woman and build a foundation
80. 3:58upon which to create some attraction.
